Fake it till you make it | Part 10

Eddie declined the invitation to stay for dinner that evening, politely of course, and genuinely solemn in his refusal. He would have actually liked to stay, the Harringtons weren’t… bad. They weren’t bad. As baffling as that notion was, they weren’t bad, but Eddie had dinner with Wayne every night. It was part of their routine, had been since his freshman year of Highschool and continued to be even now when they could see each other a lot more now that he wasn’t in Highschool anymore.

It'd always been the only time during the day where he’d be able to see Wayne before he went to work. A time where they could catch up, Wayne could ask him about school, now it was about the band, or if he’d had any luck finding an actual job, or if he’d heard any new gossip.

Wayne loved a bit of gossip. Quiet as he may have been, he soaked up gossip like a sponge because nobody ever expected him to be actually listening to the conversations they had around him.

What the Harringtons were actually like, he’d be on the edge of his seat waiting for that bit of juice. Metaphorically of course, Wayne was always the picture of calm indifference whenever he asked about the gossip, like it wasn’t deep down his life blood.

They had pretty solid excuses to not see each other for the rest of that week though.

Eddie had band practice, Steve had work, they’d ‘see each other’ in between where the parents couldn’t see and the only phone call that needed to happen between meet the parents day, and the day they left, was the night before to arrange the time when he ought to arrive back at the house with Uncle Wayne in tow.

It was… heaven, actually.

In Steve’s case anyway, that week, leading up to the week away? Bliss. Complete and utter bliss.

His parents were happy with him, they weren’t trying to introduce him to anyone, weren’t bothering him, sure they asked a couple of times if Eddie would be coming by, offering an open invite for dinner again, but they didn’t mind when Steve gave them the same excuse of he’s having dinner with Wayne!

The only issue he had was Robin and her teasing little “you made out with Eddie Munson” sing song she brought out at random while working together midway through the week, and no amount of “it was PRACTICE” would shut her up.

“I just can’t believe it!” She’d said while they were stocking shelves “you, Steve Harrington, Keg King, ruler of the jocks—”

“Ex, Robin, ex-king, pretty sure I haven’t been king of anything in years now” he’d shed that title. Let it fly free to land on a douchebag who wanted it more.

“Okay but still, lord of the jocks, with Eddie. King of the nerds.”

“And why is that so weird?” Why was she acting as if it were actually real? As if she hadn’t been there when Dustin had suggested the faux relationship.

“I didn’t think he’d be your type!”

“He’s not” the only real issue he had, was that maybe that wasn’t actually… completely, strictly... true, as he was rapidly beginning to realise.

And Robin knew it, if her scoffed little “ch’yeah OK, an I’m not a lesbian.” Was anything to go by. She let it go though.

She let it go because the chime above the door rang alerting them to customers, and their day continued on as normal.

Their week continued on as normal, with a brief appearance of the kids on the Thursday evening to try and sneak an R rated movie by him for a sleepover at the Wheeler’s but they didn’t get very far.

They took the Goonies despite Dustin’s very loud complaints about having seen it five times already and that he wasn’t going to do the truffle shuffle again, so don’t anyone ask him to do it, only to immediately lose all the wind in his very serious sails when Jane mentioned she’d yet to see him do it.

Friday was uneventful save for the phone call with Eddie the night before.

And then It was Saturday, and he was watching an old pick up pull up to a stop out front, watching Wayne Munson, in his well-worn jeans covered in dust, work boots, and flannel climb out of the truck. He may have been up all night working, but he was awake, alert, and he even grabbed Eddie’s bags out of the truck for him while Eddie sorted out his carryables.

A gym bag that’d never been used for gym full of… well, Steve didn’t know but it looked heavy, and a guitar case that looked fit for an acoustic rather than the beauty hung over the mirror in Eddie’s bedroom.

Steve rose to his feet and poked his head back through the front door to yell “The Munsons are here!” Before making his way down the drive to greet them halfway, taking Eddie’s suitcase from Wayne to put it by the door with the rest of their things with a friendly “morning, sir! How was your shift last night?”

“Exhaustin, an boy I told you over the phone, it’s just Wayne.”

“I know I just… have this, memory issue, bopped on the head a couple’a times, so you’re just gonna have to keep reminding me.” It earned a chuckle from the man and a gentle pat to his shoulder, and then Eddie was there, a bundle of energy dressed in a band tee with the sleeves chopped off and ripped black jeans, a buffalo check flannel wrapped and tied around his slim waist to complete ‘the look’. His hair wild and free as usual. “Eddie, you uh… you clean up nice…”

The smile was replaced with a look of surprise, Eddie doing a quick once over of himself as if he hadn’t actually— “I do? I didn’t—well I wasn’t trying to I mean—” tried to look good. He just naturally looked good. Of course, he just naturally looked good, the bastard.

“Guess it’s just a you thing then. Looking good I mean.” So smooth, but it worked. Eddie actually looked frozen in place, like a wire had just decided enough was enough and shorted out. It recovered quickly enough though, allowing Eddie to cutely hide behind his own hair, cheeks a pretty pink, dimpled by his bashful smile.

“Guess games on then huh, boys?” Wayne spoke through an amused chuckle, before turning his attention to the two adults who appeared in the doorway, both in… surprisingly relaxed attire.

When Wayne pictured the Harringtons, and he had once or twice when he’d overheard them being mentioned in town, he’d always kind of pictured two highly manicured people, pencil skirts, blazers, pressed slacks, polo shirts and pastel colours. Nothing old, nothing well worn, everything looking like it’d only just come off the rack and dry clean only.

Lynda however, in her red house socks, soft, dark brown, woollen skirt resting just below her knees, and baby-pink sweater tucked into her skirt, looked comfortable. And John was wearing something Wayne probably would have worn himself! Jeans and a simple dark blue button down shirt.

The only ‘manicured’ thing about them was that John was clean shaven, and Lynda’s honey brown hair looked freshly blown out. She wasn’t even wearing makeup, he felt like he’d stepped into some alternate reality where rich people were normal folk. “Mr Munson” John greeted as he stepped out of the house, hand extended which Wayne took to give a firm shake then released. “I see our boys are in a world of their own.” Wayne turned back to them as if to check and yep, they’d begun loading Eddie’s things into the Lincoln… slowly. Matching smiles on their faces as they talked about… god only knows what.

Damn scheme would make idiots out of the both of them. “Seems like.”

“Why don’t you come on inside and have a coffee, let the boys load everything up.” Well, he wasn’t going to turn down whatever fancy shit the Harringtons had in their cupboards, was he?

“Don’t mind if I do, might wake me up some.” And he was inside. The damn hallway looked bigger than his whole trailer for a moment. But no, it couldn’t be, it was just… long, and felt emptier without knick-knacks or pictures lining the walls. It was clean though, not even a hint of dust. “So… Steve lives here on his own while you two are away?”

“It wasn’t ideal” Lynda admitted softly “but Steven had to finish school so we couldn’t take him with us, and well, after that he was old enough to take care of himself. We keep in touch the best we can” calls were occasional, and they dropped in from time to time, but Steve was an adult now. It wasn’t like he was still a child.

He could probably move out if he wanted to. It wasn’t like he didn’t have access to the trust fund yet. It was his! He just hadn’t touched it yet, worked for his money, was clearly saving the fund for something more important.

“And the boys…” Wayne began once they reached the kitchen, a room full of mahogany and marble, John already there setting the coffee maker, everything pristine. Steve kept the whole place spotless, all on his own. Could be as supportive as they wanted, there was no excuse for leaving that boy all on his own for so damn long. “You don’t mind them bein… themselves around you? Now I've walked in on them up to all kinds'a nonsense, in a total world'a their own. They’re kinda touchy an they ain’t about to be like some bashful damsels actin shy with each other, they’re both men, an you supportin that means they’ll assume it’s okay to be who they are around you.”

Even though Wayne knew they weren’t actually a couple, he saw them, he saw their chemistry, he saw how Steve looked at his nephew, and he knew, he knew Eddie had had his fair share of mole related crisis’s over the years being in Steve’s vicinity in school.

There was no way they’d come out of this cleanly. Either of them. No drawn out fake date scheme ever ended cleanly.

“Boys will be boys.” Lynda chirped as if she wasnt even the slightest bit surprised, huh. “The chalet is quite large, Mr. Munson—”

“Wayne, please, ma’am.”

“Then, Lynda, if you please, Wayne” he gave her a curt nod “as I was saying, the chalet is large, there’s plenty of places for them to hide away, and I know Steven knows all of them. We used to play hide and seek when he was little, we almost had the police out searching for him once or twice, so I know he knows where to go if he wants a little privacy. We don’t expect them to be… chaste, our son is—” she paused, then looked to John with a slight scrunch in her nose.

“A slut.” Wayne was glad he wasn’t drinking anything yet because it’d have been all over the floor as he choked on his own saliva. John so nonchalant with how he said it. “We were all young once, Wayne and he’s no innocent child. Now I don’t know Eddie, but if I know my son…” and he liked to think he did, at least a little. “With what I saw the other day... i'm not surprised that they've already rounded a few bases.” A fair assessment. Their chemistry was off the charts. “How’d you take your coffee, Wayne?”

“And that ain’t an issue to you? Just black’s fine.” He was handed a mug filled with black coffee, clean, black porcelain, plain. Nothing fun about it. He still kind of wanted to take it home to add to the collection, the rare ‘expensive house, rich family’ mug.

“Not really no. As long as they're staying safe. The world is changing outside of Hawkins, and when you own a business you either change with it or get left behind.” A solid business stance, Wayne couldn’t argue with that but… if it was just for business then—

Lynda placed a hand on her husbands’ arm, offering a warm smile that reminded him a lot of Steve, that boy got a lot of his softness from his mother it seemed. “Eddie is delightful, a little quirky, looks a little different to the people we usually find in our home, but… if he can make our son look that happy just by being here, well… even if we wanted to stand in the way of it, which we don’t… I don’t believe we could. Steven is an adult now, and we can either support him in his decisions, or lose him.” Those were the options. Support him, or Steve would inevitably find his own way. “We may not be around as often as we’d like, we may have missed a lot of him growing up… but we would still rather support him than lose him. People like them… they deserve to be happy too, don’t you think?”

Wayne took a sip of his coffee, damn near groaned at the rich taste of quality grounds, both in love of the taste, and in mourning of what he'd only have once, but nodded his head in agreement. Approval. “Couldn’t have said it better myself. The peace an quiet at the trailer’s gonna be real strange.” He was giving his go ahead. “But… I suppose I can let him go on ahead with you.”

Eddie could go and he wouldn’t stop him. Although the chief would know where Eddie was, just in case he mysteriously disappeared, as terrifying as that thought was. As sobering and... mind changing, as that thought was.

No, Eddie would be fine. He'd be okay.

“Wonderful!” Lynda cheered, as if Eddie really was welcome among them. “So… has Eddie ever been on a plane before?”

Tim Sets You Two Up

Pairing: Jason Todd x gn!reader

Summary: Tim knew that his TA and Jason would love each other, so he tricks them into meeting

Notes: this is a request for a DM to have Jason meet the reader because Tim is tricky

Jason hadn’t expected you to be his perfect match when the two of you first met. It was a blind date set up by Tim of all people. He had a TA in a class of his that he thought Jason would like and he convinced (tricked) the two of you meeting in the campus library, saying he needed to study, and Jason needed to bring him coffee. You were there to tutor him, even though you weren’t sure what problem he was having in the class you TA’d for, but you went to the designated study room, seeing a stack of books in the corner of the small room. You went to pick them up, laughing at seeing both Pride and Prejudice and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies on top. You heard the door close and turned around, expecting Tim but instead seeing possibly the most gorgeous person to ever exist.

“O, sorry, I was looking for Tim Drake?” he said, carrying a couple coffees. You were about to speak when you looked through the window that faced the rest of the library and there was Tim, locking the door.

“O that little shit,” you said, going to the door and trying the handle. The rooms were soundproof to keep distractions from the studiers so you knew yelling was pointless. Tim held up a piece of paper with ‘You’ll Thank Me Later’ before walking away.

“I may shoot him,” Jason said, looking like he actually might. You turned to him and offered an embarrassed smiled.

“I don’t know what that kid is thinking, hi I’m YN, I’m a TA in his required literature class, he’s doing great, it was very suspicious that he asked for tutoring…I’m sorry I ramble sometimes,” you said, blushing now as this guy stared at you. He didn’t seem annoyed, in fact the little smile on his face made you think he was actually listening intently to you, and it was nice. You were a lit major who took a lot of extra technical classes because you liked science fiction so much, most people looked at you like your rambling was annoying and like you didn’t belong.

“I’m Jason, Tim’s my little brother,” he said. You looked confused for a moment and then he chuckled. “We’re all adopted, there’s quite a few of us.” You thought for a second and it dawned on you, Tim had mentioned once that his dad was Bruce Wayne. And Bruce Wayne had a gaggle of children he had adopted. “He told me he needed coffee, which is weird, I figured it was in an IV drip at this point.”

“It should be for that one,” you said with a laugh. “Wonder why he left these books.” Jason walked over and picked up a couple. “I mean, don’t get me wrong I would love to ramble about the absolute silliness of putting zombies into Jane Austen I’m not sure if you would be into that.”

“You would be surprised,” he said. “Although still not sure how I feel about that weird parody of adding dumb things into classics.” You stopped and stared at him.

“Ok, listen, zombies are a fantastic form of describing the crumbling of civilizations without blaming a specific group of people for the crumbling…” and that started what turned into a three-hour discussion about books while locked in a study room at Gotham university. By the time Tim remembered to come back and let you guys out you had exchanged numbers and were planning on meeting at a bookstore, and you had a list of books that Jason needed to read and he had a list that you had to get.

“Thanks Tim,” Jason said as he slung an arm around his brother’s shoulder, waving to you as you headed towards your apartment. Tim smiled, proud of himself.

“I knew you two would fall in love, next time you see her can you tell her to grade my symbolism paper nicely?”

Love sending request bc I'm too lazy to write them myself sometimes 😆 How about Tim x fem!reader where she's been training in martial arts for many years, but doesn't tell Tim (she knows he's RR), and Tim somehow doesn't know she's a nth degree black belt lol so she fakes not knowing bc she likes learning from him.

Sorry if i went a bit off Track on this, i just went with the flow while trying to stick to the request. Another apology for any terrible descriptions of fighting, i hath tried my best ;-;. Thank you for the ask anon, This was v v fun to write!

[Reader] was many things, but a fighter was not one of them. At least not to Tim Drake. To him, she was a literature major who loved Jane Austen, an artist who loved to draw nature, a creator. A lover. His lover. Many Things, but certainly not a fighter. And that's the way She intended to keep things. Sure, [Reader] was a black belt, but her boyfriend doesn't need to know that. None of the Wayne's do. She doesn't hide it because its embarrassing or anything. but rather because she likes not having them know. Specifically, she liked how Tim wanted to make sure she was safe, so he started training with her, teaching her self defense. After what happened to his parents, he wanted to make sure that he never lost another loved one again, especially not you.

"Master Tim, Ms. [Reader] is here to see you." Alfred stated, scaring the sleep deprived 20 y/o.

"Thank you Alfred. Do we have anymore coffee?" Tim asked the butler.

"Yes, But not for you." Alfred said as he left the room, leaving Tim and [Reader] alone.

"Hey baby! You ready?" Tim asked her.

"To get my ass kicked? As ready as i'll ever be!" [Reader] stated with a chuckle.

"Dont be so harsh, you're getting better!" He said as he walked over and took her hand leading her down stairs to the old grandfather clock with the passage to the Batcave.

As they Walked down, [Reader] exclaimed "Gosh, how does it get colder down here every time?" and huddled closer to her boyfriend.

"I think Bruce is secretly turning down the heater."

"Why on earth would he do that?"

"I don't know but im not mad at it!" Tim said with a chuckle as [Reader] inched closer to him.

As the pair continued walking down the long corridor, they soon found the training area with all of Tim's siblings. Almost imediatley after [Reader] entered the cave, she was met with an abundance of "Hey!"s, "Heyo!"s, "Hi [Reader]!'s and many other greetings. The Female gave her greetings, then walked over and set her stuff down on a bench, next to Tim's.

"Ready?" Her boyfriend asked, entering the ring with a swift motion.

"As ready as i'll ever be!" [Reader] said as she walked over and climbed into the ring.

"On 3." Tim told her, giving her time to prepare.

"3..."

Deep Breaths.

"2..."

Don't do anything that will give away your secret.

"1!'

She lunged towards her boyfriend, arms out and ready to pin him down. He Narrowly avoided her attack, barely stepping back in time.

'Shit' she thought, ' he's definatley going to know now.'

"That's a new move! Where'd you learn that?" he said, jokingly. Suddenly, he countered by leg sweeping her. [Reader] did a back handspring, effectively dodging any further attacks.

'Wow, he's definitely not going to train with you any more.' she thought to herself, seeing the slightly shocked expression on her boyfriends face.

"Well if you're not holding back...' He said with a smirk. Suddenly he jumped forward and swung his arm. [Reader] grabbed his arm and flipped him, pinning him to the ground. She had won the fight.

"Ok you are definitely training with someone. Who is it? Is it Dick? I bet its Dick." He started rambling, with his face growing more and more confused.

"It-its not Dick." She said sheepishly.

"Then who is it?" Her boyfriend asked, now confused.

"My Sensei..." She mumbled, barely audible.

"Who?" he asked, not able to hear his female companion.

"My Sensei." She said, louder.

"You do karate? What level-i guess colors would be more appropriate- are you at? How long have you been training for? Why haven't you to-"

"I-i was nervous..." [Reader] said with a half-hearted laugh.

"Why would you be nervous?"

"Because i like training and learning with you, and i was afraid that you wouldn't want to train with me if you knew i already knew how to fight."

"Babe, i would want to train with you anyways. I think that that's so cool that you know all that. I will want to be with you always, no matter what. In training or... just in general."

"I love you, Tim."

"I love you, [Reader]."

"GET A ROOM YOU TWO! OTHER PEOPLE WANT TO TRAIN WITHOUT SEEING . . . ALL THAT!" Jason Interrupted, ruining the moment.

Headcanon de Jason Todd ocultando a s/o embarazada de su familia (Parte 4 y final)

Parte 1 , Parte 2, Parte 3, Un pequeño extra

Advertencias: pelusa, un poquito de drama, referencias a Bruce siendo abusivo, referencias a muerte de villanos, y los problemas de la batfamily en general.

Las reacciones de la Batfamily con el secreto revelado.

**** cabe aclarar que el s/o no es justiciera ni parte de la socialité de Gotham, es una chica común que terminó enamorada de Jason Todd***

Dick:

Dick se sentía como el idiota más grande del planeta.

No porque Jason le ocultó la existencia de Jane, sino porque la conocía casi perfectamente. Eras una de las mejores amigas de Kori, por lo que a pesar de tu desaparición de Gotham te había visto un par de veces a lo largo de los años, incluso si nunca le dijiste quien era el padre de tu hija.

Además que siempre le pareció que tu hija le recordaba a uno de su hermanos, (e incluso las fechas coordinaban casi perfecto entre tu desaparición y la edad de Jane).

Carajo, incluso había ayudado a Kori a cuidar a Jane más de un par de veces y la pequeña lo llamaba tío Dick.

Sin embargo, la única vez que se lo mencionó a Jason este se puso rojo y no le hablo durante toda la noche. (En realidad, Jason no le hablo esa noche porque en cualquier momento empezaba a reír sobre lo idiota que era su hermano)

Al menos la cara de Bruce al darse cuenta que ya era abuelo valía la pena. Luego le pediría a Babs la grabación para enseñarle a Damian y a Jason (Después de una necesaria conversación sobre guardar secretos a la familia).

Por ahora se encargaría de mimar a Jane ahora que oficialmente era su sobrina y no tendría que esperar que al fin decidiera “poner fecha a su boda con tía Kori para eso “(palabras exactas de Jane, en serio, como no notó que era hija de Jason).

Cass:

Cass está muy feliz con que el secreto haya salido a la luz.

Espera que esto ayude a sanar algunas de las heridas de la familia.

Aunque es consciente que esto también podría separar a la familia, sabe lo poca que será la probabilidad al ver a sus hermanos y a su padre derretirse ante Jane.

Sabe que sus hermanos estarán un poco molestos con ella por ocultarles el secreto, pero no era de ella para contar.

Y nada quita el haber visto en vivo a Bruce Wayne nervioso cuando Jane lo llama abuelo Bruce.

Se pregunta qué hará Alfred con las ganancias de la apuesta.

Steph:

Jason tenía una hija…¡Jason tenía una hija!

Aún no le entraba en la cabeza que el infame Jason Todd sea padre de una adorable niña que la miraba encantada por la cantidad de brillo morado que tenía.

No la malentiendan, estaba encantada con que el pobre tenga dos personas que lo amen incondicionalmente separadas de está alocada familia.

Tampoco lo culpa por esconderlas de la familia, ella hubiera hecho lo mismo e incluso ha intentado irse ella de la familia.

Tal vez no fue tan jodido para ella como lo fue para Jason, pero sabe el daño que da esta familia y si Jason está dispuesto, Steph le dará una mano si necesita alejarlas de los Wayne de nuevo.

Por ahora, aprovechará tener una sobrina amante a la brillantina. Y si Jane es tan traviesa como Jason (que resulta cierto) aprovechará tener un cómplice para bromas.

Tim:

Jason está casado y tiene una mocosa…¡Jason está CASADO!

Durante el ataque, Tim creyó que había pasado demasiado tiempo despierto y estaba alucinando (pero eso era imposible, solo paso 28 horas despierto y tomo una siesta corta de dos horas un rato antes)

Ya en la baticueva lo analizó y decidió que seguro fue una aventura de una noche, por lo que ocultó a la niña y a la madre de la familia. Con el resultado del ADN, penso que lo dejaste y escondiste que tenian una hija hasta hace poco.

Luego lo vió entrar a la baticueva junto a ti y luego se dió cuenta que la niña reconoció a Jason y a Cass con traje.

También estaba el hecho que ambos tenían un anillo en sus manos. Mismo anillo que vio colgado en el cuello de Jason desde hace cuatro años.

Cuando Jason habla más tarde con la familia y descubre que otros miembros lo descubrieron antes, siendo el maldito mocoso uno de ellos, decide que tal vez debería hacerle caso a sus hermanos, a Bernard y a Conner sobre dormir más.

No puede dejar que algo así se le pase desapercibido de nuevo, no en su línea de trabajo.

A pesar de todo, está feliz de que no hayas dejado al idiota de su hermano mayor, ustedes siempre fueron el uno para el otro.

Y Jane era adorable, incluso con su parecido a Jason todavía tenía cualidades tuyas, como su insistencia en cuidar a otros de forma desinteresada.

Mierda. Volviste y ahora hay una mini tú. Adiós a la tranquilidad de saber que sus reservas de café estaban a salvo. (Tú siempre te habías aliado con Alfred y Bernard para cuidarlo. Estaba perdido)

Tal vez pagar la escuela y universidad de Jane haría que lo dejarás en paz. (SPOILER ALERT: no funcionó, pero su sobrina no tendrá deudas universitarias)

Duke:

No conocía a Jason tanto como los demás, pero le dolió que les ocultará que era padre.

El golpe disminuyó drásticamente cuando descubrió que el resto tampoco sabía.(la mezquindad se le pego a Duke, es un Wayne oficial)

Pero que Jason fuera padre explicaba mucho.

Más de una vez Jason aparecía con purpurina en el cabello y stickers en su casco.

Su modo protector con sus hermanos había pasado de 67 a 200%.

Hay veces cuando les llamaba la atención por una imprudencia a sus hermanos sonaba como un padre preocupado (el tono era siniestramente parecido a Alfred y Bruce combinado).

También está el momento, hace ya varios años, donde Jason llegó con una mochila llena de pañales y chupetes (en ese momento Jason parecía en extremo cansado y solo justificó diciendo que se confundió de mochila).

Explica porque Damian desaparecía bajo la excusa de cuidar un animal bebé y esas veces que Alfred llenó el refrigerador de comida de bebés.

El cómo se le pasó a la familia, no tiene ni idea, pero está seguro que se encargarán de consentir a Jane el doble por todo lo que no pudieron en un inicio (incluido él).

Aunque no entiende porque Dick se golpea la frente con la mano ni porque Tim está cambiando de lugar sus bolsas de café.

Damian:

Estaba confundido cuando Bárbara lo recogió de la escuela. Luego se enteró del ataque y lo único que quería es ir a verlas.

Le sorprendió un poco que ustedes estuvieran en la mansión, pero no se atrevió a preguntar hasta verificar que estuvieran bien.

Una vez llegó y Jane saltó a sus brazos se calmó (ya esperaba las miradas que le lanzaba su familia)

Si bien no le agradó el discurso sobre guardar secretos que le dió su padre y Richard, estaban a salvo y eso estaba bien.

No está feliz con tener que compartir a su sobrina con el resto de sus hermanos, tampoco con haber perdido la apuesta.

Sin embargo, sabe que el resto de la familia se entere tiene ventajas. Ahora Jane será reconocida como una Wayne legítima (porque si debe compartir la herencia con Drake también debería hacerlo con su sobrina). Ahora Jane no tendrá que asistir a esa escuela plebeya y podrá asistir con la élite (aunque ella estaba encima de eso). Además podrá mostrarle a todas sus mascotas sin restricciones y serán entrenados para protegerla.

La cereza del pastel fue cuando en la noche, cuando la estaba cuidando mientras tú y Jason hablaban con el resto de la familia, Jane le reveló que seguía siendo su tío favorito.

Si estaba más engreído por el resto de la semana, nadie se atrevió a preguntar porque (aunque tú ya lo habías descubierto, seguía siendo el niño pequeño que te contaba todo).

Además, Jason sabe que tiene un cómplice si necesita hacer el mundo más seguro para su princesa o si necesita proteger a Jane de Bruce.

Babs:

El día fue una montaña rusa, desde su sobrina y su amiga siendo rehenes hasta la revelación del Wayne más joven.

Ella fue una de las pocas personas que no tuvo que averiguarlo, Jason y tú se lo contaron una vez nació Jane (y los ayudó a ocultar a la pequeña de Todd de Batman)

Su ego se infló cuando la batfamily se sintió mejor al enterarse que Babs ayudó a esconder a Jane.

Sabía que era cuestión de tiempo, aunque no esperaba que fuera tanto. Eran estúpidos al no darse cuenta la innumerables veces que Jason tenía un biberón en el bolsillo en vez de una pistola, o esa vez con los pañales, o la vez que terminó trayendo el Bat-oso de Jane por error.

En fin, idiotas adictos al trabajo.

Sabe que está línea de trabajo es peligrosa y lo probable es que Jane siga los pasos de su padre, pero sabe que la familia hará lo que sea para protegerla.

Sin embargo, les dará una mano si Bruce se pone intenso o Jane esté cerca de convertirse en Robin.

Ha estado en esta familia aún más tiempo que Jason, sabe que por muy irracional que sean los miedos de Jason (y los tuyos, aunque no lo admitas) son legítimos y siempre una posibilidad.

No dudará en dar un paso al frente y proteger a su sobrina y cuñada.

Se pregunta si con este secreto revelado ahora tú le contarás lo que estabas ocultando a Jason.

Maldito Dick por tener por ex y novia a las dos pelirrojas más intuitivas que conoces (y maldita tú por convertirlas en tus pseudo hermanas mayores).

Bruce:

Es abuelo…

No va a procesar nada más que eso en un buen rato.

Realmente no sabía porque le sorprendía tanto, es padre legal de 6 y emocional de más. Su hijo mayor ya tiene más de 30 y el menor 16, no sería raro.

Pero quien lo hizo abuelo era su segundo hijo, el pequeño niño que le robó las llantas y luego creció, murió y se convirtió con quién más chocaba. Y él lo convirtió en abuelo, ¡hace cinco años!

No es que culpe a Jason por esconderlas (si lo hace, pero lo oculta), es consciente lo mucho que falló con cada uno de sus hijos, incluso sigue fallando y hay veces comete los mismos errores una y otra vez.

Pero está seguro que si Jason no alejó a Jane de Bruce de nuevo, ha hecho algo bien.

Se asegurará que Jane no sufra por la vida que eligió él y sus hijos, se encargará que ella no quede atrapada ante sus propias torpezas en proteger a los que ama del mundo y de él mismo.

Mantendrá esa sonrisa en la cara de Jane, tiene que hacerlo.

Jane simplemente, lo tiene en sus manos. Su nieta es fantástica, es muy parecida a Jason de niño, su alegría, su impulsividad, su terquedad.

Los convence que se queden un tiempo en la mansión y que cambien de escuela a Jane. Se resistieron al inicio, pero no querían dejar en la escuela a Jane tras el terror de la mañana, por lo que Jason, Jane y tú se vuelven residentes a tiempo completo de la mansión por un breve periodo.

De la noche a la mañana, toda la mansión e incluso la baticueva se vuelve a prueba de niños.

Una vez superado el miedo y que Jane vuelve a la escuela. Toda tu casa está remodelada y ahora todo el terreno y alrededores está a su nombre.

Definitivamente Jane se convirtió en la niña más mimada de Gotham.

Ahora además de tíos que son titanes, también tiene a la liga de la justicia como tíos. (Ni Jason ni tú están seguros de cómo procesar esto) (Bruce tampoco está contento que había gente de la liga que sí era consciente que Bruce era abuelo antes de enterarse)

Las caras que puso al descubrir que era abuelo es obligatorio verlo mínimo una vez cada festividad.

Alfred:

Su familia ahora está junta y es todo lo que puede desear.

Sabe lo difícil que es que no haya peleas en la mansión, pero ahora todas las peleas se limitan en quien es el tío favorito de Jane.

La fiesta de cumpleaños número cinco de su bisnieta se celebró en la mansión y nunca hubo tanta gente alegre como en ese momento.

La paz es algo escaso en una familia como los Wayne y aprovechará cada momento de esta.

Si alguna vez le preguntan sobre las veces que Damian escapa con Jason y regresan un día después cubiertos de tierra y sangre, dirá que fueron de viaje de hermanos. (Si después de ese viaje un villano desaparece de la faz de la tierra, solo será una coincidencia)

Jason:

Fue un gran proceso acostumbrarse al cambio, y Jason realmente puso su empeño en dejar que su familia conozca a su hija.

A largo plazo, fue lo mejor. Estaba tan feliz de tener a su familia a su lado apoyándolo, sobre todo cuando esa noche le contaste que estabas embarazada de nuevo. (La cara de Bruce cuando le contaron que otra vez va a ser abuelo se volvió meme familiar y Jason se encargó de ponerla en todo tipo de recuerdos).

Habló de sus miedos con sus padres y hermanos, sabe que seguirán ahí, pero juntos trabajan para afrontarlos. (Bruce no necesita saber que todos los hermanos se comprometieron en proteger a Jane y a ti cuando Bruce se vuelve Batman 24/7).

Al final, sabe que todos harán lo que sea para proteger a su hija. (Y si el Joker y el Espantapájaro desaparecieron nadie sabe nada ni puede probar que estuvo involucrado).

Oficialmente esto se acabo. El extra va a ser solo de la liga enterandosé que Batman es abuelo mientras a la vez Bruce se entera que algunos de sus compañeros ya sabían sobre la existencia de Jane.
