Hi I decided to start another tournament blog for some reason, so here we are. Since I'm busy with the other one, I might not get to this for a few weeks, but I'll let you all know when I'll start and for now I'm taking submissions (via asks).
I have a list of movies I'll include automatically (the ones I've seen) and anything else will have to be submitted.
I'll keep an updated list in a post on here so you can see what's missing.
"Indie" will be defined sort of loosely based on whether or not reviewers were calling the thing indie when it came out.
No short films. 1h+.
As for queer, it has to be canon, whether through something obvious like same-gender relationships or through characters being written to be queer.
Questioning, intersex, asexual, aromantic, etc. count as queer.
Hays-Code-era (or whatever international equivalent, no matter the year) "we're doing everything possible to tell you this character is a flaming homo except having him make out with his buddy" totally counts.
It's got to have a queer main character or be about queer things. So a movie with a gay best friend doesn't count.
If you're unsure, just let me know and I'll either decide or put it to a vote.
Feel free to send in propaganda with your submissions, or send it to movies already included!
I hope this can be a great space to learn about awesome new movies (especially non-English ones!) and encourage people to check out some great new things. Beyond my icon and blog background (I had to use some sort of image and there's no generic options, really), I'm going to abstain from sharing my opinions on any movies still in the tournament to avoid swaying votes.

Welcome to the Blorbo Adoption Tournament!
There are many blorbo’s in need of loving homes and only one tumblr to adopt them. So our goal here is to determine who is the most adoptable, and who will be tumblr’s child.
Maybe they don’t have parents, maybe their parents suck, maybe they just need more positive parental figures or a good found family. Anybody you look at and ask “is anyone going to adopt them?” Is available for submission.
Rules for submissions:
• They must be a fictional character
• not limited by things like age or gender. Sometimes that grown ass man really does need to be adopted.
• please don’t shorten names of media into acronyms
• tournament seeding will be done by number of submissions
• You can submit multiple characters but don’t spam the same character please

How was the bracket made?
This bracket was made based off centreoftheselights's data on the most-written pairings of all time, and edited to fit into a workable bracket. Matchups were seeded according to number of works.
This is a platonic/familial relationship, not a ship! Why is it on a ship bracket?
The top relationships on AO3 include both platonic and romantic/sexual relationships; so does this bracket. If the relationship is formatted as "[Character X] & [Character Y]" it is not a romantic pairing. If it is formatted as "[Character X]/[Character Y]" it is. (For efficiency, when a pairing showed up as both & and / in the data, only the higher-ranked version was chosen.)
What are your stances on voter fraud/bribery/etc.?
Fight for your blorbos however your honor dictates (though we ask that you don't DDOS Tumblr, and preferably do not commit any murders which can be traced back to us).
