𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐔 𝐃𝐀𝐙𝐀𝐈 — 𝓙𝓾𝓼𝓽 𝓐 𝓛𝓲𝓽𝓽𝓵𝓮 𝓣𝓪𝓼𝓽𝓮
notes: mdni. fem reader. fluff & smut. it's your first, second, and third dates + dazai goes down on you. ꪆ୧
warnings: this is the longest thing i've ever written (3k) but dazai has my whole heart in his hands, help i'm just in love ʚ ɞ
𝕱𝖎𝖗𝖘𝖙 𝕯𝖆𝖙𝖊 — THE DARK AGE. ࿐
you weren't expecting to walk in on a very suspicious-sounding conversation that night between three handsome strangers when you walked into lupin. you were mostly expecting it to be empty, possibly a lovesick couple making out in the corner somewhere, hiding their affair from their respective husband and wife—no doubt. that was the norm.
however, that night was different. did you know you were walking toward something that would consume you for the rest of your life? difficult to say. but something was different, you tasted it in the air. it lingered in the stale atmosphere of the bar that suddenly smelled of lavender and cherry blossoms when you laid your eyes upon him—osamu dazai. a man more beautiful than you could've rendered in your own imagination.
your confusion at the three (admittedly stunning) men occupying the space you normally sat in, likely showed on your face—and your perfume and the light clicking of your heels surely caught their attention as well, the three of them turning to you as the bell over the hidden entryway clinged and you descended the staircase fully.
they were all so handsome. but you still couldn't take your eyes off him. there was something about him—the way his eyes lingered on your body before settling to lock with yours made your stomach twist. neither of you looked away, though the situation was awkward at best—was this your heart telling you it knew, before you even did?
a few hours later and everyone else in the bar had drifted away, only you and dazai remaining. only the two of you in the world—that was how it felt. neither of you had a single sip to drink from the moment you walked in, too drunk off one another. you'd sat down next to him and started talking, and somehow, in the sea of intoxication the two of you were drowning in, hours had passed in a matter of seconds.
"who are you?" he asked in that deep, sultry voice that had you reeling. he knew your name—you'd told him hours ago. but he wanted to know more—he wanted to know what really made you, you.
"who do you think i am?" you smirked as you placed a gentle kiss on his neck.
"someone who wants to ruin my life," he laughed as he struggled and failed to hold back a needy groan, your lips feeling like heaven against the pulse of his neck.
you laughed at that, "now, why would i want to do that?"
your arms wrapped tighter around his neck as his hands squeezed your waist, grinding your hips against his ever so slightly, not enough to cross a line, but enough to show his desire. at some point you'd found yourself straddling him as he sat on the bar stool, facing away from the bar, your heels abandoned on the bar floor as the sleek pantyhose covering your toes glided smoothly against his clothed calves.
his eyes were half lidded as he groaned, your hands running through his hair exactly what he needed after another brutal day working for the mafia. the killing, the carnage—it was nothing and sometimes, all at once, it was too much. but in that moment, your soft touch was like an oasis to him.
"why do you want to die?"
"what's the purpose of living?" his answers matched yours in speed and wit, something you hadn't expected.
"to make people's lives better."
his eyes met yours again as his hands slid up your back, eyes lidded and fingers barely grazing your skin as he inadvertently lifted your shirt slightly with the tips of his fingers. his delicate touch felt like it was burning you—this was moving too fast, you knew it. this was dangerous, but you wanted more.
"you think you can make my life better?" he asked ironically, clearly doubting your logic. "you can't save me, angel."
"i don't want to."
"what do you want?"
"there are things worth living for."
"and you think you're one of those things?"
"no, but love is."
"everything i've ever loved has been taken from me."
your heart hurt at that—and the moment you pressed your lips to his, a gentle kiss that sought to cradle his soul turned needy and desperate. everything felt right, nothing had ever felt more right.
pulling away moments later, both entirely too breathless and desperate for a one night stand, you sought to penetrate the scarred exterior, to unveil his true intentions— "who are you, osamu dazai?"
"i guess you'll have to wait and see, princess."
𝕾𝖊𝖈𝖔𝖓𝖉 𝕯𝖆𝖙𝖊 — SOMETHING WORTH LIVING FOR. ࿐
maybe you were manic. . . maybe you were making things out to be more than they were. you'd been known to be a fool for love, but this felt different. osamu felt like someone you could trust.
but naturally, hadn't all the others felt the same way in the past? it was difficult to find something worth living for, he'd told you that. you'd kept your own pessimistic confession from leaving your lips the moment you'd heard his—you felt the same. but somehow, you felt differently. you wanted to live. osamu didn't.
but there was just something about osamu you couldn't explain—something you couldn't understand. and despite the way the gears were turning in your mind, your analytical brain fighting against your heart to find some logical reason why you felt so infatuated with him so early on—someone you weren't even sure would be around much longer (you'd deduced he was in a dangerous trade, that much was clear, though he hadn't told you yet)—you didn't want to solve the mystery that was osamu dazai. you wanted to float in the warm, safe abyss of ignorance and the euphoria that had you feeling lighter than air.
each time his name popped up on your phone had your heart singing—you hated it, in a way. it was a recipe for disaster. heartbreak would surely find its way to you soon. osamu was dangerous—not only in the way he lived, but in the way he made you feel.
your heart felt so vulnerable. so weak. so fragile. you felt like you would crack at any moment, and just like that—your feelings would consume you. the same way they always had in the past before disappointment inevitably struck you like lightning, crippling you and tearing away any hope you'd ever find someone who matched you.
things had gotten a little heated between you two on your first "date," if you could even call it that. but you hadn't let things go too far—you wanted to know more about dazai before you committed your body and heart to him. would he even be comfortable sharing anything about his life? about his past? about his job?
you checked your makeup one last time in the mirror, ensuring your lips were perfectly lined, a natural shade paired with the casual look you were sporting—a touch of mascara to give a different impression than you had last time—last time you saw him, you'd been tired and exhausted from work, your full makeup and sleepy, dreamy flirtiness giving a different vibe than you normally did.
osamu had suggested a walk for your second date. you were a little surprised, judging from the suit he wore the night you'd met him—you expected him to plan an elaborate date at some fancy restaurant and take you out for a night on the town. you were grateful he suggested something you were more accustomed to, something a little closer to your comfort zone.
you grabbed your bag and tucked your gloss in the back pocket of your jeans, a comfortable solid-colored tee tucked into your belt, a suitable pairing to the tennis shoes you laced yourself into.
as you grabbed your coat, the insecurities began sinking in—what if i'm not what he's expecting?
you'd been a little too forward the night you met him, naively swept up in his good looks and charm. you were wondering if his interest would hold once he realized how. . . normal your life was. surely, it was a little more dull than his.
however, the way you got lost in each other's eyes that night, made you feel a little safer in opening your heart to him. was this really only the second time you were meeting?
you probably talked a little more than you should have—but dazai seemed to get lost in the way your words flowed, listening intently with soft eyes as he drank up every word that left your lips, autumn leaves falling gently one after the other as they brushed the two of you intermittently, one last time as the chilly air wrapped around you both, winter quickly on its way.
"what makes you happy?"
he looked confused at your question, contemplating his answer briefly before turning toward you, pulling at the lapel of your jacket and wrapping it tighter around you, tucking your scarf back into it.
"i had a friend once, spending time with him was the closest thing i've ever found to happiness."
the way his voice trailed off at the end left you feeling sad and lonely—feelings you picked up from the tone of his voice. you weren't sure if you should press the subject, but the smile that traced his lips involuntarily as he spoke about this mysterious friend, told you he wouldn't mind.
"what was he like? or she?"
his eyes flashed a trace of appreciation at your words, grateful you'd even asked. no one had ever wanted to know more about his life. and surprisingly, he finally seemed eager to fill the space between the two of you with his own words.
"he was the kindest person i've met." he was staring at the ground now, "although, if you pissed him off, you were in for it." he laughed at that last part, and it was enough to have you laughing with him.
his eyes seemed sad now, and you figured it was time to change the subject.
"i love autumn." your eyes followed the trees surrounding you up to their canopies, in awe of all of the beautiful, natural creation around you. it was almost like the two of you were trapped in a masterful painting—you never wanted to escape.
"i think i do too, now." he pulled you in and brushed your hair behind your ear, leaning closer as your lips just barely grazed, his dark eyes staring down at you. "i wish i could see things the way you do—wish i could see the beauty in life."
"i'll show you."
"you can't fix me."
"you aren't broken, just lost."
"find me, then."
"i will." his delicate kiss soon turned needy, his tongue testing the waters as he cradled the back of your head. just the same as the first you'd shared in the bar—it felt electric. his hands pulled you as closely as possible, the threat that you'll leave seeming to haunt all of his gentle touches.
i hope you do.
𝕿𝖍𝖎𝖗𝖉 𝕯𝖆𝖙𝖊 — JUST A LITTLE TASTE. ࿐
"i knew you wanted to ruin my life," he laughed against your lips. you'd been teasing him for the past hour, all of your soft touches and warm breaths against his neck leaving him whining against your lips—he hated how needy he was for you already, but not enough to stop your hands from exploring every inch of his body, bandages doing little to resist the heat of your skin on his.
he was hard and leaking for you—attempting and failing to resist falling into you even more. osamu didn't remember the last time he'd felt this wanted. he couldn't think of anything but your body as he pulled away from you, settling on the floor in front of you, your back pressed against the couch.
"stop." he kissed your wrists one at a time, stopping your hands from reaching out for him, attempting to pull him back in for more kisses. he placed a gentle hand on your stomach, encouraging you to relax and let him take the lead as your hands found their way into his hair.
"i want you," you whined, "so much."
"the feeling is mutual," he smirked.
as he pushed your legs back, your pussy on full display for him, you could only think to yourself—troublemaker. that's what osamu was—but only in the best way. he tore down your walls and ripped you out of your comfort zone, only to build new ones around you that made you feel even safer than before.
how it was possible to trust him with your whole heart after only just meeting him, you could never explain. but you were no longer interested in fighting your feelings, you couldn't deny your heart. you wanted him—all of him.
"fuck me, please." your voice was broken and desperate, tears threatening to spill from the corners of your eyes from how much you wanted him.
"not yet."
the disappointment in your eyes faded as his pretty fingers spread your folds, a moan escaping his lips when he noticed how wet you were, a string of your slick caught between your lips. he was sure the taste of you could make him fall even more in love—the way your body responded to him, almost like it was meant for him. you were meant for him.
"mind if i have a little taste?" the look in his eyes was devious and lustful, and your nod of affirmation desperate and frantic, hands in his hair pulling him closer to your cunt.
his tongue darted out to kitten lick your clit just once, before pulling away to savor the taste.
"osamu, please—don't tease me."
"what do you mean, pretty girl? i'm just enjoying myself."
his hot breath against you was enough to have your eyes rolling back, practically screaming when his lips finally wrapped around your clit, sucking softly before letting the wet nub slowly slip from his mouth, a mixture of his spit and your slick making it glisten in the candlelight as he admired your pussy, his gaze soft and intriguing.
your moans turned needy as he continued to lick gently at your clit, pulling back every so often to spread your lips more and expose the sensitive little nub that insisted on hiding from him, his tongue hard against it as he picked up the pace, firm licks setting the perfect rhythm to make you cum quickly.
"'your tongue- feels- so good. . ."
"hm, is that so?"
he pulled away only for a brief moment before diving back in, intent on making you cum before he fucked and satisfied your desperate, sensitive little pussy. it'd been entirely too long since he'd fucked a pretty girl like you. something foreign took over him as he groaned and whimpered and whined against your pussy, seemingly more desperate than you were to make you cum.
"i'm gonna come soon. . . don't stop, baby. don't stop. . ."
you came only a moment later, a wave of your slick gushing from your quivering hole as he slid a finger in, eager to feel the powerful waves of your orgasm as your pussy squeezed his fingers. he devoured your pussy after you came, licking and sucking everywhere he could find, playing with your lips and pressing gentle, careful kisses to your clit, still twitching from such a high-octane orgasm.
as your breathing settled, a burning desire grew in your stomach. "'samu, come here. . ." you grabbed his hand, trading places with him on the couch, settling on your knees as they found their home on the soft carpet. your hands found their way to his thighs, spreading his legs as your eyes landed on his cock and balls, pretty veins decorating the shaft and making your mouth water. he was lightly trimmed, head pink and leaking and firm. the way his cock jumped before you even touched him, your hands simply running gently up his thighs before squeezing his hips, told you he was painfully awaiting your touch. even so, he seemed hesitant.
"aww, you don't have to angel—only if you really want to."
so that was it. he didn't think he deserved you—didn't think he deserved your touch. he slid his fingers through your hair before resting them on your chin, admiring your beauty and all of your pretty features—his gaze tender and loving as something swelled in his heart. it was more than he deserved.
despite his doubts, your lips wrapped around his cock had every thought leaving his mind, only a few remnants of his existence still floating around in his conscience. the tip of his cock was so sensitive from hours of waiting for your pussy, his thighs quivering each time you slid your tongue over the cute little vein on the underside of his cock. it was enough to have any cohesive thought pattern fade away.
as he gave into you entirely, head rolling back as small puffs of air left his lips each time you slid his cock deeper in your throat, your name, your body, the way you touched him, the way you wanted him—were the only things on his mind.
he wanted you close. he never wanted to let you go—for the rest of his life, he wanted to stay in this warm glow with you.
save me from myself, angel. give me something to live for.

CAN I KISS YOU?, Niko Omilana
—————————————
Tumblr media
—————————————
summary: you're a usual guest in the beta squad and all the members seems to like you, except for one that seems to not like you at all. Or that's what you took from the interaction between you and him.
warnings: idk if making out counts as a warning but there you go.
A/N: this is so badly written and it's kind of cringe (I'm serious). so it's not on me if you don't like this. + there might be grammar mistakes because I wrote this while i was half asleep.
You silently groan when you hear your phone ringing during your sleep. Your hand lazily searches for the phone on the nightstand right next to your bed, sighing when you check the time. 5:27 am.
Checking who was calling, you could feel yourself becoming furious that he would call at such timing. You respond and bring the phone to your ears.
"This better be an emergency Chunkz or I swear-" You yawn and rest your head on your pillow.
"It is an emergency. Well not really- we just need you to come over here today." He sounded like he just woke up aswell, which gets you confused.
"Why the hell are you awake at 5 am?" You narrow your eyes, even though he couldn't see you.
"I was just praying, but now I'm getting back to bed. So is it a yes or no?"
"Huh? A yes or no about what?" You internally cringe at the fact that you forgot what he had told you.
"We need you coming today to the beta squad house, I'll send you the details for today's video. We need an immediate response because we need a guest today. If it helps, the majority of the fans want you and so do we." You chuckle weakly at his last statement which makes you smile so wide even though your eyes were closed.
"You guys are filming on a Sunday? Also why they hell are you asking me so late you could've told me yesterday when we hung out-"
"Stop with the lecturing. So, yes or no? To be fair we missed you." You hear the smile in his voice and you turn on the lamp shade next to you.
Even though you've seen all of them yesterday, you could feel the same. Spending a minute with them would always make your entire day.
"Yes, yes. I would be delighted to see you guys today." You grin widely, and even though he couldn't see you, You could tell that he knows that you felt really pleased to be around them.
"Alright then. See you later, y/n." You hear the genuine smile in his tone and you giggle silently when the line ends.
"I've got everything ready." You nod at chunkz's plans for the shoot as you tuck in a hair strand behind your ear.
Since the audience really loved your presence surprisingly and how you really bring the members together even much more, they had decided to go with making a mafia video with you.
"Tell me what your costume is." He asks.
"Im not telling you anything about my costume. All that you need to know is that you had to let me get up early to go get one." You respond with a bland tone.
"Alright, I gotta start moving now. I'll call you when I'm almost there." You hear a hum at the other side of the phone and close the call.
You place a hand over the speaker and send a signal to the driver, "Make a turn!"
"Anyway, I'm already outside." You cheekily smile when you see Chunkz standing outside with the phone to his ear.
You don't waste a second and immediately open the door and hold the bag that had the costume between your index finger and the middle and you run towards him, immediately engulfing him in a hug. He responds with giving you a tight hug and you hear him chuckle at your excitement.
Chunkz was the friend that everyone had since middle school, and seeing him grow up and have a successful life always made you feel like the proudest person alive. It was as if whenever he's successful at something, it feels like you had won something aswell. His success was also your success.
"Everyone's waiting for you inside. Wait let me see-" He tries to take the bag from you and you immediately tut in disappointment and move the bag away from him.
"Only hint that you get is its in the game itself." Chunkz furrows his eyebrows in confusion since your sentence barely had any context.
"Wait what are you?" You take a look at his costume, really confused.
"I'm the prince of Saudi Arabia." Your mouth is slightly hung agape at the accent, a little thrown off by it since you didn't see it coming.
You chuckle and shake your head, "Come on, let's not waste anymore time if you're desperate to see my costume!" You skip towards the already open door and you hear him chuckle at you.
"The guest is here!" Aj points towards your direction and immediately everyone's face brightened and so does yours.
Sharky, Kenny, and Aj surround you and they crush you to death with a really big hug and you easily accepts with a wide grin.
"Be careful. You guys are crushing the poor gyall." Chunkz remarks from behind and you chuckle.
"I'm more than happy to be crushed by my absolute favorite people." You mumble against them and they finally disconnect.
"What's your costume?"
"I bet it's creative, she always goes big in challenges-"
"Let us see!"
Your eyes widen at all the questions and statements that came all at once, "–Woah, woah, woah. I'll wear it and then you guys will see." You observes each one of their costumes with a proud smile.
"Those are really great costumes." You shrug proudly. They all smile at each other like they were proud of what they've done.
"Ay, Aj– should've went with a pizza costume. Or a triangle. Fits more in your theme instead of a sheep." His wide smile immediately falls and you hear everyone laugh at your joke, your heart beating in excitement whenever you heard them all laugh.
The laughter dies down and a thought had just hit you, "Wait where's Niko?" Just then, a tall figure appeared.
Your mouth drops in shock as you place your hand above your mouth to contain your laughter "He looks ridiculous." Kenny says as he shakes his head.
Niko being tall mixed with him wearing a shark that was supposedly eating him was absolutely hilarious to everyone. You figured it was like a 'sharky' joke since Niko would do something like that.
"This guy needs to switch costumes with Kenny since big foot suits him more." Aj remarks. Chunkz's laughing was activated and everyone's laughs was heard.
"I don't think he needs a costume for that if he's going for big foot. He's already one." Those words easily flew out of your mouth and you look at Aj who was now laughing like there was no tomorrow.
"You're laughing a little too hard there. Mind I remind you that you're face is the shape of a literal triangle?" Niko blandly replies. Aj nudges him aggressively and he let's out a small 'ow'. Despite his height, Aj was strong.
"Hey, Niko!" You greet him with a smile expecting a hug like how the rest gave you a hug aswell. But deep down inside, you knew he'd never give you one. Just like how he ignores your presence whenever you hung out with them.
He just sends you a nod and a cold look at you which makes your smile immediately drop. He could never greet you like a person, could he?
You clench my jaw and you realize the rest of the members awkwardly shifting side to side.
"Alright then. Can someone show me where I could change?" Sharky nods as he leads you.
You finally put your mafia outfit on, excited to see everyone's reaction. You thought it would be kind of ironic when the name itself is mafia and you would be wearing the costume of a mafia.
You stare at yourself in the mirror and observe vourself with a small smile. The outfit consisted of a tight white long sleeves buttoned shirt that had a tie that was hung around the collar of your shirt and a black vest. On the bottom, a tight black skirt was hung around your hips and ended right on your thigh, accompanied with some very long boots.
For some fun, you had a fake gun that hung on the side of your skirt. This was going to be fun.
When you walk where they were going to film you hear a few sets of, woos and aye which makes you smile.
"Im not gonna lie, she's leng." Chunkz remarks and everyone laughs at his comment.
"What is she even supposed to be?" Niko says and there's a slight rudely manner in his tone. He was shifting uncomfortably from side to side all of a sudden as they all awaited for your response. Despite the way his manners were, for some reason you could pinpoint darkness in his gaze and the way he studies each part of your costume.
You could feel your face heating up and turning red and you thank god that you had some blush on. "I kind of thought it'd be ironic if I wore like a mafia costume." You shrug and walk over to them. Niko stays silent, tightening his jaw as his eyes rake over your body.
"That's real creative. Alright let's go film the introduction and then start with the real stuff." Chunkz says.
You finally filmed the introduction to the video where everyone introduces their outfits and now you were about to start the game.
You were the last one to walk in the house and the only seat available was annoyingly next to Niko. You roll your eyes and sit down as the crew gets ready to start filming.
"Someone switch seats with me." You hear Niko huff, annoyed that he had to sit next to you. You could slightly feel a pang in your heart but you chose to ignore it, still keeping on a stern face while looking straight ahead of you and not react to him like you were bothered by his comment.
But truth to be told, you were very much bothered. For some reason, You and Niko never really got along. In the very beginning you always thought he was joking since he was known for his ways with other people, obviously in a joking matter.
But the both of you never had a normal interaction, and you never really talked except when filming. He'd throw a hateful comment towards you which you would laugh it off for the sake of the video, but sometimes it did irritate you.
Especially because you never really got to know him or for him to get to know you. So what made him have the right to send hateful 'jokes' when you weren't even friends with him?
You'd accept the jokes if it was from Chunkz, Aj, Sharky or even Kenny, because you knew they'd never mean it. Apart from Niko, you never knew what was going on inside his brain. So you'd get a little silent whenever the comments from him come up and just give forced laughs throughout the entire video.
But in secret, you really did like Niko for some reason. You'd never admit it out aloud, but in your eyes he was the most attractive guy from all of them and his humor was the thing that drew you to him.
"Ay, stay a little mature for the video you big foot." Aj points at him and you laugh and so does the rest, not bothering to look at Niko.
You breathe in heavily because from the corner of your eye, you could feel Niko's gaze on you.
"And now, we're rolling!" We hear the crew behind the camera inform everyone.
"You see this girl on my left? Can you people believe that this is her first time playing mafia?"You furrow your eyebrows at Chunkz's words.
"Unless you meant Kenny I think im on your right." You tilt your head, confused.
Kenny and Aj get up to contain their laughter, disappointed in Chunkz and Chunkz smiles in embarrassment.
"I need you to cut that out. Cut that out." Chunkz demands.
You hear Niko's laugh and for some reason, your heart flutters and you swallow heavily. You turn to look at him and his white pearly teeth is on display and his eyes are slightly shut.
You could feel your face heating up and you turn around since you couldn't control the smile that was fighting to appear.
"This idiot next to me has the highest iq out of all of us and he cant even differentiate between his left and right." You shake your head in disappointment.
"Right, that's horror." Niko says in agreement and whenever you got him on your side with something, you'd always feel something in the pit of your stomach. It was a feeling you've never felt with someone before.
"Alright, alright. Settle down." Chunkz says.
"Ready everyone?" Kenny asks and everyone hums in agreement.
Each one of you takes a card and you could see everyone taking a glance at theirs and you try to read their expression. You could see a small smirk in Niko's face which brings you to figure that he might be one of the Mafia's. But Niko being Niko, makes it not convincing that he's one of the mafias. Maybe he just wanted to throw someone off.
You look down at your card and you felt your breath catch.
Mafia.
You could feel excitement running through your veins, but you were also a little nervous because you were terrible at lying and they knew that.
"Alright, everyone close your eyes." Chunkz announces and everyone complies.
"Mafias, open your eyes." You open your eyes and try to see who's your partner. Chunkz, Kenny, Sharky, and Aj being on your left with their eyes closed throws you off. Which meant only one thing.
You turn to look at Niko who's eyes was already on you, his hooded eyes studying your every move and you feel your breath hitch at the closeness.
He raises his eyebrows at you and a small smile appears on his face. You acknowledge him with a small nod and a smile aswell. What makes your smile drop is that the eye contact somehow held some tension and you swallow slightly at the way his eyes are studying every feature of yours and you couldn't seem to break the eye contact. Something in his eyes just made the eye contact so hypnotizing.
"Mafias, close your eyes." You immediately turn around and shut your eyes but careful not to make any noises.
"Open your eyes." Right after everyone opens their eyes' each one of everyone was throwing accusations at the other like, "I felt Aj's ant sized eyes open!", "Kenny's muscle tensed. I felt it.", "I heard chunkz's outfit move.", but you were too focused on the eye contact that had just happened. It never happens and the longest eye contact that had probably happened between you both was only 3 seconds. You could feel every part of your body heating up and your palms began sweating–
"Ay, ay, ay. y/n is too quiet. It's definitely her." You raise your eyebrows at Aj once he interrupts your thoughts.
"Shut up dwarf. You smiled once we all opened our eyes. I'd be careful with accusing the rest when i have something to hold against you." You throw back, and you weren't even lying because you actually saw Aj slightly smile.
"I'm on y/n's side. Aj tries to throw accusations at the rest to take attention off of him." Sharky nods at you and you cross your arms, proud of yourself.
"Ay that is not fair! You know what? Im calling it, its Sharky and y/n!" Aj yells at Sharky.
"I kind of agree with Aj. y/n seems a little suspicious. I mean you guys need to look at her costume shes literally the mafia." Niko says and Aj immediately nods.
Your mouth opens wide at the betrayal and you turn around to look at Niko, but everyone seems to take it as an expression of a civilian and not an expression of a Mafia getting betrayed by her partner, "What does that have to do with the game? I could calmly say that I am not mafia."
Everyone seems to buy it because you're never really a good liar at any games and the fact that this is your first time playing mafia.
In response, Niko raises his eyebrows, amused at how well you managed to lie.
"We need to take this seriously, y/n seems safe for now." Kenny refuses at the accusations that was being thrown right at you.
You turn to look at Niko, giving him a pointed stare and he just gives you a blank stare that fumes you.
"Im smelling vibes right there." Chunkz nods at Niko.
"Agreed." You nod in agreement.
"Notice how Chunkz and y/n never once accused the other? It's definitely both Chunkz and y/n." Niko remarks calmly which makes you worried that you'd get voted out within the first round, and Niko's sentence seemed so believable.
"It is so y/nnnnnnn y/l/nnn-" Niko claps both of his hands together like he figured it out but Kenny cuts him off.
"We all know y/n is a terrible liar and she could never look into our eyes and lie." Kenny disagrees.
You have no idea. You thought.
You suddenly realize this was Niko's way of making it believe that you weren't 'mafia'. He was stretching the situation and he knew someone would defend you since they all knew you could never lie. Him overdoing it would just take attention off of you.
You turn to look at Niko and his eyes were already on you and you spot a small smile on his face and you try to fight yourself from laughing.
"They're idiots." He mouths to you and makes sure the camera sees the moment since he wanted this entire thing in the comment section how everyone missed the fact that he insulted them. You nod in agreement, a wide grin forming on your face.
All of them seem to take Kenny's sentence into consideration and the silence was interrupted by sharky, "True, true, true." Sharky says and he squints at Aj.
"Why you looking at me?!" Aj yells defensively.
"I'm voting for you." Sharky says as he drinks from the water bottle right next to him.
Aj jumps on Sharky and starts 'beating' him up and Kenny places one of his hands on the side of his forehead and a small smile was on his face despite of making the expression of a disappointed person.
"You know when a feather lands on you and feel nothing? Yeah? That's exactly how I feel right– wait ow, ow, ow–"
"Yeah what were you saying? Alright then, I'm voting for you Sharmarke!" Aj points at him and then he gets off of him.
"Ooo, full name aswell." Kenny remarks.
"Ay that's not fair! He has no reasoning!" Sharky talks to the camera.
"Looks like I'm voting for Aj. Get his pizza face out of here." Kenny comments and Aj looks at the camera.
"I still have my eyes on y/n to be honest, looks like I'll vote for her." Chunkz raises his hands up in surrender.
You wanted to save yourself in any chance so they don't put their suspect on you in the next round because you already knew Aj was going to be out this round.
So thats exactly what you did.
You turn to look at Chunkz and his eyes meet yours, "I promise you, im civilian." You look into Chunkz's eyes and you try not to blink, something you do whenever you lie.
"Nevermind then. I take my words back. I'm voting for Aj aswell. I know my gyal right here would never lie to me." He places his arm around you and you make sure that they weren't looking at you when a wide grin forms on your face.
Your heart was thumping so hard you could practically feel yourself almost vomiting. Lying always made you feel sick. You almost felt like you were about to out yourself to them.
But then, you feel a large hand brushing yours slightly, like it was inviting you into holding his hands. It was as if he read your mind. Your hands twitch into his, your hand intertwining with his large hand. He places both of your hands in a spot where the camera doesn't catch on the gesture.
Thump, thump, thump. That was all you heard in your ears. You have never held hands with Niko or even touched him in anyway. You never greeted each other which made it weird to you, you could practically feel your body heating up.
While you were too busy looking at Aj who was trying to change anyone's point of view on why he isn't the mafia, Niko was too focused on your facial features and reading your expression.
"Don't take it personally Aj, but you need to get out of here." Everyone nods at your words and Aj looks at the camera.
"See people, this is what I go through whenever im around them."
"Yeah not like my votes going to matter either way, but bye-bye Aj." Niko waves at him.
"See! I told you. You guys are a bunch of idiots im 100% sure it's y/n!" Aj points at you.
Everyone's disappointed yells was heard when Aj reveals that he was a civilian and you turn to look at the camera with a slight smirk.
"Get out of here man." Kenny says as he gestures with his hands for him to leave.
"It's Niko and Sharky! It's Niko and Sharky I'm telling you!" Chunkz tells the rest and the camera.
Before Aj leaves, you send him a small smile and raise your eyebrows like a small indicator that you were indeed mafia and you could see his smile drop and looking at you with betrayal. It was as if he wanted to vote you out and he wasn't actually suspecting you, but now that you sent him a look, it was all the proof that he needed.
"Wallahi I knew it." You hear him mumble and you only hear it and so does the camera that was zooming in your interaction with Aj.
Sharky was voted out eventually in the previous round because of how he was silent the entire time which thankfully put you in the safe zone, but everyone started suspecting Niko.
You bite your nails, anxious that you'll lose and be alone if Niko does go out this round.
It was time to vote and Niko shrugs and says, "I'm going for Kenny. y/n's terrible at lying and shes short. And chunkz is just the second mafia." Niko looked proud of his insult and you roll your eyes and they all laugh.
Kenny shakes his head and laughs, "I'm putting my vote on Niko. I could just tell that it's him." Kenny says and you look over at chunkz to see his expression whether he agrees or not.
If Chunkz agrees, you also had to aswell. But you had to agree way before Chunkz speaks so they don't put their suspicion on you for your delayed response. You could see Chunkz slightly nod but no one catches it. Bingo.
"Yeah same aswell. What do you say, Chunkz?”
Niko calmly shrugs, "If you want to vote me out, vote me out. But you are voting the wrong person out." You turn to look at him and you catch a slightly pissed look that he sends you.
You try not to laugh and mouth 'trust me' to him and his clenched jaw seems to relax.
"Right here? You know what that says? NDL. You know what that means? Niko don't lie."
"Shush, nobody cares." Chunkz replies and both kenny and you immediately laugh.
"It also could stand as Niko does lie. You fucking idiot." Kenny says.
"Yeah, fuck it. I'm voting for Niko aswell just for that stupid statement." It was declared that your partner was voted out. You really wanted to win this.
You look around the sky and hum while everyone waits for Niko to get out of the tank. When your gaze falls on him, you were met with a drenched Niko. Your breath was stolen at the sight, your lips slightly parted.
The way little water droplets fall from his slightly curly hair and onto his face and his NDL shirt was hugging his body from the effect of being dunked into the water made you go crazy. Why did he have to be so attractive?
"Stop staring y/n. Niko, show us your card." Chunkz nudges me playfully and you look away, embarrassed that you had been caught but also thankful that no one heard the first statement except you.
"Show us your card, Omilana!" Kenny yells.
He pinches his nose in disappointment, pretending that he was a civilian.
"You know that we lost right–" He pulls the card out and began laughing as he shows it to us. You act surprised and you hug Chunkz, 'happy' that you both caught one of the mafias as the both of you jump in sync.
"The impossible happened! We got Niko out as mafia!" Kenny says.
When you and Chunkz disconnect from the hug, you give each other the look once Kenny speaks. This was going to be fun.
After a lot of discussing for who it could be, Kenny suspects that its you and chunkz and you have your suspect on Kenny.
"I could tell that it's Kenny. From the beginning hes been trying to get on my side by defending me, so later on when he votes out his partner Niko, it doesn't seem suspicious. And then-"
"Yeah, yeah-" Chunkz says in agreement.
"And then Niko tried to do the same tactic aswell by voting his partner off, so then it would show that Niko would never do this to his partner? So then Kenny wins the entire game!"
"y/n you're onto something." Chunkz points at you as he gets comfortable in the couch.
"Are we forgetting that y/n's an actress?" Kenny questions, and the clear innocent tone stung you in the heart.
"Use your mind, she's also a terrible liar and I knew her since middle school. I'm voting for you wallahi."
You nod in agreement. "I'm voting for him aswell." You try not to break into laughter the entire time, making sure your face is serious and stern. You might've been a terrible liar, but being an actress really helps the situation.
"Now let's go get Kenny wet! I like to see him wet." Chunkz says enthusiastically and you place both of your hands in embarrassment. Behind the set, the camera crew were all laughing.
Niko, Aj, and sharky just came down so they don't really know who was voted out, and you could clearly see that Niko's eyes was searching mine for an answer. But you try to stay stern as possible as we leave the set and go to the tank, seeing Kenny getting ready to get in the tank. The three of them had to stay inside since the camera crew requested them to stay until it was declared who won.
"You're very dumb, Chunkz. You'll see that its y/n." Kenny shakes his head as he waits for someone to press the button that leads for him to get dunked.
"Yeah well, Niko said the same thing. Yall are on my innocent gyall today. So nobody cares what you have to say." Right after what Chunkz said, he immediately pushes the button and Kenny falls into the water.
"Show us your card Kenny!" You yell and Chunkz's innocent smile as he waits for Kenny to get out of the water breaks your heart, but regardless, you felt proud that you had managed to lie.
Kenny shakes his head, disappointed at Chunkz. He holds up his card and you grin so widely your lips started to hurt. Chunkz looked shock, from the way his lips turned into an 'O'.
"We won?" You hear Niko from behind you, and you see Aj and Sharky following aswell.
You pull your card out to show it to both Chunkz and Kenny and you started laughing so hard that you almost fell.
"She tricked all of us! She's evil! This game is evil!" Aj points at you and Chunkz still looked baffled.
"I don't know how I managed to lie! But I did it!" You talk to the camera with the widest grin ever.
You feel a pair of hands that rested on your waist, hugging you from behind in victory which resulted to you feeling butterflies at the sudden contact. He turns you around and places his hands around your waist once again, everyone still shocked at how you managed to lie.
"I can't believe it! She actually won!" When he disconnects the hug, he places both of his hands on his face and began to talk to the camera about how shocked and how proud he was.
You could feel your heart rate raising by the second at how happy he looked and how genuine he was about your win, and you could feel your lips twitch into a smile by just observing from afar.
A hand reaches the side of your shoulder to pull you into a side hug, "I actually still can't believe it. Never trusting you again." You flinch a little at Chunkz talking when he was silent this entire time.
"I can't believe it either." Your eyes are still on Niko who was still talking to the camera.
"You've got a little crush on my brother Niko, eh?" He teases you with a whisper and you roll your eyes playfully.
"Never in a million years." You give him a pointed stare as everyone walks to the camera to do the outro.
"And if there was one thing that you had to stay, from the bottom of your heart, what would you say, y/n?" Niko questions you and he snakes an arm around waist and pulls you closer to him.
You barely show that the contact effected you,but on the inside you felt your heart flutter. "Play the trailer." You point your index finger to the camera and they all cheer you which makes you chuckle.
"And cut!"
Once everyone heard this statement, almost everyone separated to go drink water or go on their phone. The only person that stood right across of you was Niko, who was studying each part of you. The camera crew and the rest went inside and you just stood here with Niko.
"y/n?" He half whispered under his breath. That brought you back to reality because you didn't even realize that Niko had gotten closer to you.
You hum, too lost in his brown eyes.
He looked hesitant to speak whatever that was on his mind since you catch his mouth slightly parting for a second, but immediately shuts it.
"Can I kiss you?" He looks down at your lips for a moment and snakes his large hands around your waist.
Your eyes are wide and his are hooded, indicating that he was too focused on your answer and your lips rather than your reaction. You open your mouth to reply, but you just couldn't. You could feel your knees becoming weak at his request.
You take too long to even say anything that you could pinpoint the disappointment in his face and he just gives you a weak smile, "Sorry, that was a dumb question." you hear him mumble when he awkwardly places his hands in his pockets.
He's about to turn around, but you stand on your toes to reach him and you wrap your arms around his neck, his hot lips meeting yours. You could feel the shock coming from Niko from the unexpected movement because he did not kiss you back the first few seconds, but his first instinct when he was hit back with reality was to wrap his large hands around the front of your neck and the other pulling you aggressively by your waist to deepen the kiss.
The kiss was desperate, it was as if it's been waited out for too long and now the both of you got what you wanted.
He pulls away for a second to catch his breath, but as soon as he breathed in, he doesn't waste a second to place his warm lips back where they belonged.
The kiss was filled and mixed with prolonged feelings, passion, lust from the way he'd tug your bottom lip and then let go so he could breath and go back to kissing you hungrily.
You could feel your skin getting hotter each time he tugs your waist closer to him, as if the both of you weren't already close to the point where the only thing that separated you were your clothes.
"Not even a few minutes that we leave them for and now they're on top of each other." You hear a familiar voice which leads you to be the first to break the kiss, because Niko was still gripping your front neck and your waist which looked like he wasn't going to stop either way.
"Ay cover Aj's eyes. Keep it pg, there's a kid in here." Sharky remarks and they all laugh at his joke and Aj rolls his eyes.
Niko rests his head on the crook of your neck, too breathless to even say anything. You look at him and he looks like a huge mess with his swollen lips.
You feel your cheeks go red at the fact that you had been caught, and you let go off of Niko's grip as if they hadn't seen you already.
"We'll leave you two be, 'miss never in a million years'. " You hear a slight teasing tone in Chunkz's voice and you send him a glare since you exactly knew what he was talking about.
"Wait what does that mean? What is he talking about?" Niko furrows his eyebrows at Chunkz's words and looks at you for an explanation.
"He confronted me about liking you and I said never in a million years." You say a little embarrassed. Niko snakes his long arms right where they were before they came out. He hums and stays silent for a few seconds.
"Your ears." Niko's the first to break the silence, his eyebrows furrowed and he looked genuinely confused.
"What about them?"
"Just had a thought about them looking like huge elf ears. Don't worry I still like you with your huge elf ears. Next time wear an elf costume, it suits you more. Oh right you don't need any costume if you're going as an elf-"
You silently gasp and pinch his arm, "Oh ow, ow- I'm joking, I'm joking. Thats what you get for that remark about me earlier." He laughs mockingly at your sad attempt of trying to hurt him.
"Well you do look like big foot. I don't look like an elf." You argue back.
A question had just hit you and you really wanted to ask, "Also, why the hell were you always ignoring me?"
He almost looked hesitant, "I was um- nervous." He clears his throat as his face goes all red and he tries to look at anywhere except your face. You raise your eyebrows, shocked at the unexpected answer.
You snort at the confession, "Come here, big foot." You wrap your hands around his neck once again and this time his lips pulls you into a sweet pull. And as it seems, you had just misread the entire thing.
It was just his way of telling you that he likes you.

Thinking about Bimbo y/n who follows whatever her husband desire. Who didn't know that he is manipulating her life because y/n is only his. Who didn't know that he is controlling her every move.
You are dumb enough to believe him when he say that your life is "too pure" and that you needed him to protect you, you really think he is right. Your poor brain just trust him because he is a very respected man and he is rarely wrong right..?
He would daily make sure to see you at least one time per day even if it only lasted a few hour minimum, he would always make sure you and him have a talk.
The topic of the talk started off innocent such as "What did you eat today?", "How was work? Did your boss or your co-worker did anything weird?" to "Maybe it's better for us to live together. That way I could ensure your safety around me". Of course, when he bring up the topic of living together, you didn't think much of it. What he say's kind of makes sense.. maybe your land lord or your boss at work are not as kind as you think they are.
He slowly gaining your trust by giving you gifts, taking you out on dinner, while talking about how you are too talented and too precious to work. So you stopped working, after he promises you the 100th time telling you he could've helped with your living expense as long as you become his girl friend.
He did keep his promise, but as times went on you notice him being more and more protective.. but it's because he loves you so much! he said so you trust him blindly.
Being his girlfriend is not enough though. He started to create a little "drama" around you. You notice how people looked at you with disgust and anger- you don't know why, you swear you have never hurt someone!
That night you cry into your lover arm, crying and sobbing about how you have never done anything wrong and you never threaten anyone. In the midst of your cries, you didn't notice the small smirk grazing you lover's lips.
The next day, your boyfriend offer you that if you marry him, he is sure that everything will stopped because he can give you bigger protection as your husband and he can helped you more with you in his life.
His promises tricked you into portraying him as a safe space for you, and so without much thought you agree. The marriage was not grand but it is far from simple. A lot of high-status people attend your marriage in where those high-status people help you clear out your name. After all, you are his bride and you are just too innocent to be doing mean things.
In the end everything goes back to normal, but your life seems to be sweeter and happier. You never think about struggling, didn't think about anyone giving you disgust look because you're his bride now, and the good news is- the person who tried to frame you has been caught now! and you are free, all because of your dear lover you thought.
"Princess, I'm home" Your husband called out as your feet excitedly went up to him and kissing him. "Welcome home!" you giggle as he looks at you fondly. The smell of his dinner filled the room as he enter your home. He have maids to help him to clean the house but.. he ordered them to not let you notice them or talk to you. He is scared that outsider's might.. 'Taint' your pure soul, but of course to let you keep busy, he makes you his house wife who should just cook and accompany him work and never leave him.
"I cook your favorite food!" you excitedly talks and smile up at him. He pull you up, lifting you towards the dinner table as he sat you on top of his lap. "Mhm, you did baby. am' so proud" he talked to you happily, gushing about how cute and adorable you are.
You only know that your husband work as someone who have a high status and people either respect him or is scared of him. He keeps telling you that you don't have to know because it's too confusing for your cute little brain and told you to not worry.
Thus you lived happily, not knowing that every since you meet him, your life has been controlled by him. Every decision you made has been something that he has control over, but of course. You never have to know about that. You has become his after all.

"A Halo of Black and Red"
Legend wasn't actively hiding his pedigree from the other heroes... but he was avoiding telling them that he was a prince as long as he could. Of course, he knew it wouldn't stay secret forever, but he would put it off to avoid the eventual betrayal from the knights in the group. Finally, that not-quite-hidden secret came to light when Legend took the other heroes to Hyrule Castle. At least the reveal itself had been amusing, it's aftermath? Not so much.
Febuwhump 2024 | Prompt 14: Blood-stained Tiles
Event Masterlist
Read On AO3 Warnings: Graphic Violence, Major Character Death
As surprising as it was, Legend wasn't actively hiding anything from the other heroes.
He just wasn't up front with them. It wasn't that he was keeping secrets, if they asked he'd honestly answer, but... They didn't ask and he was not going to say it outright until he had to.
"I thought you said we were going to go see your sister," Warriors said as Legend led the way through Castle Town and up to Hyrule Castle. "Does she work at the castle?"
"I did and yes she does," Legend confirmed. Honestly it was amusing, sure he wore a dozen rings but one was his mother's signet ring, he literally had a Triforce hair clip... that was usually hidden by his hat but he's lost it in battle and taken it enough times for them to have seen it, and he's signed his name "Link Hyrule" in front of them at least a dozen times.
At this point it was a bit of a game to see how obvious he could be without outright saying who his sister was and what he was. Though, admittedly, he kept quiet for safety reasons as well.
"What does she do?" Hyrule asked curiously. "Is she... a handmaiden?"
"No, she's not a handmaiden." Legend barely held back a snort. He kept a hand rested on the magic rod on his hip as they passed the guards who shifted but didn't attack him.
"Is she someone of importance?" Wild piped up, appearing on Hyrule's other side.
"You know," he feigned thoughtfulness, "she is rather important."
"Is she older than you?" Warriors joined in on the theorizing. "Because I could see a... twenty-something year old being a general or high captain depending on their experience."
"Well..." he thought about it. "I guess she's kind of like a commander? That's not her official title, but by definition she could be a kind of commander."
Commander in chief, he supposed.
"So she's in the military?" Warriors concluded.
"In? No, she's not, but she is a great leader and she could've taken Ganon on alone if he hadn't prioritized getting her out of the way first."
"Ganon prioritized her?" Hyrule gasped. "Who--Why?!"
They reached the last door to the throne room. Legend grinned.
"Take a guess," he said as the guards pulled the door open.
Zelda was talking to Impa by her throne, but as the door was opened, she looked over and a bright smile appeared on her face.
"Link! You’re back!"
He sped up the slightest bit to meet her part way as she tackled him in a hug.
"Oh--You better not have a new scar, I've told you to be more careful!"
"I'm fine, no new scars, I've barely been injured so far. There's three idiots here who like to take hits not meant for them and I'm not one of them."
Zelda scanned his face before she nodded. "Good." She then moved to face the heroes. "Apologies--It's been several months since Link last came by the castle and I like to make sure he's alright before anything else when he does. Welcome to Hyrule Castle, I am Queen Zelda. How can I aid in your quest?"
Legend held back a laugh at the completely confused looks that were shot toward him.
"Well--Currently, we are only seeking to find a place to rest," Warriors said formally. "But we would welcome whatever information on monster sightings and movements you have."
"Of course," she did a subtle gesture and one of her handmaidens approached, "Estelle here will take you gentlemen to one of our guest wings, you may settle as you wish. Link and I will ensure tonight's dinner will accommodate all of your different dietary needs while we catch up and discuss."
"I thought we were visiting the Vet's sister?" Wild muttered to Sky.
Legend couldn't hold back the laugh while Zelda just tilted her head.
Twilight elbowed Wild but the damage was done and Zelda looked at Legend with a frown.
"You didn't tell your companions prior to bringing them here?"
"I swear it wasn't a secret--I am wearing both my ring and the hair clip."
Her frown deepened. "Your hat hides it."
"And I take my hat off all the time, it falls sometimes when I fight too. If they haven't seen it that's not my fault."
Zelda gave him a sharp look. "I told you that you need to introduce yourself."
"It's time travel and heroes of past and future," Legend defended. "I introduced myself appropriately for the situation! You said that if it doesn't call for it then I don’t need to say that whole title."
She stared him down.
"Besides," he added quickly, using his last card of defense, "half of them are knights."
Her eyes narrowed briefly, flicking toward the group, then she nodded. "Fine," she turned to the partly confused and partly very shocked group of heroes. "My apologies, it seems my little brother's lessons still haven't stuck."
"You said hero came first!" He protested, happy she wasn't going to outright mention anything.
"That doesn't mean you can neglect your position as prince!"
"Din give me strength, you’re impossible."
"You're impertinent."
"This is being impertinent? Oh I can show you impertinence."
Someone cleared their throat. "Umm--"
Zelda shot Legend a threatening look as he huffed and turned away. She turned to the other heroes with a graceful smile.
"My apologies again, as you can tell, Prince Link and I often have points of conflict in regards to his responsibilities. Please, follow Estelle. She will also be the one to fetch you for dinner."
"Of course," Warriors said as he grabbed Sky's arm. "Thank you for your hospitality, your majesty."
Legend rolled his eyes, that was also part of the reason he didn't introduce himself fully when they met. The unnecessary formality was a small part, but a part nonetheless.
Estelle led them away, Legend avoided Sky's eyes very stubbornly and the moment they were gone, Zelda turned on him.
"Are you safe with them?" She demanded. "Knights? Link, you--"
"I am well aware, Zel." Not introducing himself as a prince had been a choice, and it was one made in self defense, even if he defended otherwise in front of the heroes.
He supposed he would find out how they treated Hyrulean Princes soon enough, if one of them tried to kill him anytime soon, at least he would know why.
"Are you safe?" She repeated.
He nodded. "I am." He didn't confess how unsure he was of that fact, it was a point of uncertainty, whether the knights of the heroes would kill him because of his heritage and gender, but he wasn't telling his rather protective older sister that.
She sighed softly and nodded. "Good." She gestured for him to walk with her. "Then tell me about this quest, these... heroes?"
He sighed softly. "Well..."
He reluctantly had put his cap away--look, it was representative of his sanity, he was emotionally attached to that thing--and fixed his hair into something nice and not as practical, triforce clip a bit more on display as a result.
Dinner came and there was more meat than Legend was used to seeing on these platters, but he had been the one to alert the chefs that most of their guests enjoyed meat, majority of which on the rare side, and another few liked fish.
Sky had stubbornly taken the seat beside Legend and when dinner began and Zelda ate, he finally prodded the subject.
"You never said anything," he said quietly, other conversations flowing around them.
Legend shrugged.
"You’re the one who figured it out and said it, why didn't you tell me?" It being the fact that Sky was the patriarch of the royal bloodline.
"I didn't think it was important," he lied.
"You didn't think it was important that you’re my descendant?" Sky hissed, if Legend didn't know better he was hurt.
Except Legend did know better and he was avoided those bright blue eyes because if he met them he knew he'd see how hurt Sky felt at his omission.
"Is it?" He managed instead.
"Yes."
He somehow didn't show the wince he felt. "Oh."
"You--" Sky seemed to be struggling and he kept glancing at the wider table. Legend had a feeling this was a conversation meant to be had in private.
So he sighed and stood. "S'cuse us, Zel."
Zelda waved him off as she continued her conversation with Four about... some book?
Sky was quick to follow him, Impa moved to as well but Legend subtly gestured for her to stay. She did, turning her attention back to Zelda.
They stepped out into the hall where the guards didn't linger.
"Why don’t you think it's important?" Sky asked, and he sounded hurt. He sounded so genuinely hurt.
"Because..." because princes were believed to be the scourges of the goddess' bloodline, because since as far as he could remember he had been told that the goddess had no sons, and he'd believed it because he was unaware he was her son. Because he didn't fully trust the knights in their group to not kill him now that they know.
Sky visibly faltered. "You clearly don't mind your sister--Am I the reason you..."
"No! No--It's not-- I'm... I'm not against my heritage or anything," Legend insisted. "I'm not ashamed of being--Zelda's brother, I'm really not. It's just..."
"Just what? Is it Hylia?"
"No. Sky, I didn't even know her name before meeting you. She was just the... the goddess born mortal, the first queen of Hyrule, its divine protector who chose mortality to be with her lover. It's just--Princes are not considered a good thing, they--we are considered the scourges of--"
CRASH
Glass shattering echoed through the hall, followed by a scream, his left hand burned and he ran back to the banquet hall.
The doors slammed open and, though he noticed the shattered window and Four and Wild both leaping out of it as Warriors had a guard pinned, his eyes set on Impa kneeling on the ground beside Zelda's fallen chair.
He ran across the room, Pegasus Boots spurring him into near teleporting across it to see a sight he had never, in his life, wanted to see.
No, no, no.
Zelda laid on the cold tile floor and blood pooled around her head like some demented halo.
Amethyst eyes that were mirrors of his own was staring blankly at the far wall, unblemished features marred by the blood that soaked the right side of her face.
A black blade made of shadows melted back into the darkness from the hole in Zelda's head.
Some part of Legend brokenly laughed at the irony, she had a halo now, as if her crown hadn't been enough. A halo of blood and darkness behind her head, a representation of the darkness, death, and destruction she held back with that bright light of hers.
"I'm sorry, Link," Impa croaked, the heroes in a chaotic circle with potions and fairies but none of them moved. It was obvious nothing could be done, Twilight helped Warriors with the guard but Legend could already feel the dark magic on him. "I didn't..."
Her voice became a background noise, a background ringing as his thoughts grew frantic.
Why didn't he notice?
He was gone for ten seconds.
How could this have happened?
No, no, no--
"Zelda?" His voice escaped him and he sounded like none of the last seven years ever happened, like he was still that ten year old child who had found Zelda asleep like the dead in that bed in Kakariko.
"Vet, I'm so sorry," Hyrule whispered.
She can't be dead. She can't be.
She wasn't supposed to die before him. She was supposed to live here in the castle, safe and leading their people, she wasn't the one constantly running head-first into the dangers that plagued Hyrule. She wasn't the one returning to the castle soaked in blood, a new scar marring her body every time. She wasn't the one who--
She wasn't supposed to die first.
"No," he whispered, kneeling down beside his older sister. There was a tiny splash as his knees hit the blood puddle and a brief flash of pain from them hitting the hard tile. "No--Zelda don't you do this."
"She's dead, Link. I'm so sorry," Hyrule said as he stepped away.
Legend shook his head. "No! No she--" his voice broke.
"You can't revive the dead, Link," Impa said weakly. "She's gone..."
He could though. He could revive the dead, or rather...
He held his left hand over her forehead. "Watch me."
He heard Hyrule say something and felt a hand land on his shoulder.
Come on, ladies, you owe me one. Farore, Nayru, Din--Don’t take her too.
Light coursed through him and he felt his Triforce absorb it, he felt the familiar caress of time, the whispers of secrets, and the moving of seasons.
The single triangle on his hand blossomed into three, all of them glowing bright.
Zelda gasped. Amethyst eyes glittered again with life and she shot up. Legend dropped his hand and pulled her into a hug as she gasped and coughed blood onto his tunic.
"Link?" She breathed. "How--"
"You’re not allowed to leave me yet," he whispered, pulling back and pressing his forehead against hers, not caring for the blood that covered her and now him. "You're not dying first."
"Oh, Link." She let out a shaky breath, clinging to him. She was shaking something awful, and Legend couldn't fault her for it. She had died. "Impa is here--Go."
He nodded before standing. Impa was quick to swoop in and pull Zelda into her protective arms, tears streaming down her cheeks. His Impa was not the warrior of the Captain's era, or anyone else's Impa, she was a matron, a nursemaid, a protector as much as any mother but not a warrior.
Legend went to the window and looked out. Four and Wild were long gone, Wind apparently giving chase as well. He didn't know what happened, but he knew there was one set of clues far closer.
He turned from the window to the guard that Twilight still had restrained.
He didn't even draw his sword, just took steps toward them both and the guard made a strangled, terrified noise and instead of trying to get away from Twilight, he scrambled back toward the Rancher.
Legend grabbed the strap of his helmet and Twilight quickly backed off as he slammed the guard to the ground, anger fueling him more than his power bracelets ever could.
"So," he growled as Impa, Sky, Hyrule, and Warriors rushed Zelda from the room, which left Legend with just Twilight and Time... And the traitor. "Who decided it was a good idea to try and assassinate my sister?"
The guard sobbed out his terror. "I don’t know! I just had to break the magic off the windows! That's all!"
"Why?"
"They paid me! They paid me!" He screamed, as if Legend had been torturing the answers out of him, but he hadn't even touched him beyond throwing him to the ground. "Please--Your highness--"
"Don’t beg," he snarled. "Congratulations, you can tell your employer his plan succeeded. He killed the Queen--He just didn't account for me and just how much power I hold in the palm of my hand."
He trembled and stared up at Legend, Legend could see the dark magic in his eyes and the broken glass in his hand... The Shadow, the Shadow had given him that power to destroy a Triforce-formed shield of protection.
"Y-You’re letting me go?"
"If your target had been me, then I might've. But since you decided to go for her--You can go to hell. I'll send that employer of yours along soon enough so you can relay that message."
Black blood soaked the tile floor when Legend drove his blade into his throat.
"We could've gotten more information out of him," Time admonished.
Legend turned his attention to the elder hero. He raised his sword up and drove it down again, causing more blood to splatter and the body to twitch, not looking away from his eyes.
"If you couldn't tell since you’re half blind," Legend started lowly, "he is black blooded. I personally am not sparing a person so juiced up on pure darkness to the point they could take down Hyrule Castle's magic defenses on the off chance of gaining information."
He stabbed the body again, blood gushing and splattering across the tile floor, staining it and his blade, his hands, and his boots.
"You think The Shadow would've let this guy near us if he had actual information? No."
He raised his blade to stab again when Twilight caught his hand.
"He's already dead," the Rancher croaked, and Legend noticed how pale he looked. "Zelda's alright, the threat's gone f'r now. It's fine... Breathe, Vet. It's alright. Just--Breathe, calm down."
Legend blinked, he stared at Twilight, confusion hitting him and the haze of red, of protect and avenge faded away.
Suddenly the black blood staining polished stone tile wasn't vindicating, it didn't feel good to see, it felt awful. The body in front of him was a gruesome scene, bloodied and its face a permanent expression of fear.
It was horrific, disgusting, and he felt dirty and wrong just knowing he caused it. Zelda's blood still soaked the floor too.
Twilight gingerly took his sword from his hand and Legend realized distantly that he was shaking.
"Vet--Hey, Link, look at me," Twilight said gently. "It's okay. Everyone is safe, they're alright. The Captain, the Traveler and the Skyloftian has Zelda, nobody's gonna be able to hurt her with them right there protectin' her. You need to breathe."
He was covered in blood, soaked in it, some of it was Zelda's, some of it the traitorous guard's, but nonetheless his clothes were saturated in blood, Fi's golden blade was hidden beneath the black ichor, even his skin was covered... his hands and his legs and he knew his face was too.
"Sorry," he managed to say with a somewhat even voice. "I... I lost myself there."
"We noticed," Time stated. "It happens. Your anger will get the best of you..."
Legend wiped his face off a bit, it didn't help, only smeared the blood and made him feel even worse.
"I... I should clean this up," he said weakly. "The servants don’t deserve to deal with this mess."
"You should go clean yourself up, and then go to your sister," Twilight corrected. He moved forward and directed Legend out of the room, and he let the older hero do it.
He couldn't tear his eyes away from the blood soaking into the tile, the body, the puddle of Zelda's blood.
Zelda died.
His sister died, she did. It was only because the goddesses owed him one that she was alive right now, but that didn't change the fact that she died.
He didn't protect her. He had been too busy trying to fix his own mistakes to be there and protect her.
He hadn't been there.
And now there was a puddle of her blood soaking into the floor, and the only reason she wasn't laying there and adding more blood to it was because the goddesses owed him a favor.
Yet he couldn't shake the thought that he was the reason she had ever been in danger in the first place.

Part 2 of this time-travel concept!
Actually part one is all I had in my head at first but after I start it other ideas just keep coming in so here we go!!
Part 1 , Part 3
.
It is another normal day Spider thought, he got out from the lab into forest running ahead to village where his, siblings for him he didnt know what they think, best friends were. He's ran and jumped over the root then ran again, raised his head up to soak in how beautiful Pandora is.
Then he finally there, in front of the Sullys' pod so he waited for his friends, maybe I wake up early today that's could explained why they don't come out yet, but when random thought reached him, he started fidgeting in his place
or maybe they went without him?
Just as his mind decided to thought of something bad there's a na'vi behind him when he turned around he saw Jake, who seemed... shocked? But why?? What made Jake shocked in this morning?? He had no idea at all.
“ oh Mr.Sully, ” Spider used his most polite tone as possible to hide his curious, this is not a good sign; if Mr.Sully here Mrs.Sully would be here soon, he didn't want to offend anyone so he said again “ I came here for Lo'ak and Kiri but um.. am I disturb you? If so I can leave ”
He didn't realized Jake didn't looked at him until he did. All of his moves were kinda weird today, Spider hoped he didn't sick or anything, even it's obvious Jake wasn't in his right state. With lacking of Jake's response he decided to called him again “ Mr.Sully? Are you– ”
His words were cut off by Jake, that's made him relief actually, “ y- yea? I'm good, kid ” the man looked nervous as if he didn't know what to say next “ so.. you here for the kids, right? They might be here soon.. ”
Jake couldn't understand at first how could he sleep through last night without wake up in middle of it but he understood now, it's because he's in another dream. Jake try to laugh out his stress but failed when he still uncomfortable with how the boy before him looked.
Spider tried to hide his doubt then just keep waiting but failed the first one miserably since Jake looked awkward even more after saw his face. Fortunately, Jake didn't say anything, in fact Jake begging him in his mind to not ask any further, or maybe he wanted to but the chaos in his pod shut him off.
Start with Lo'ak shout that he would remember anywhere, Spider taken back by it nonetheless, then there Kiri's voice, not loud as Lo'ak's but still louder than usual. That's not what made him surprised the most since it's normal for the two to mad at eachother even it's just early morning. But how Neteyam also in that argument as well tho, not trying to calm his siblings or mediate them, that's could be one of most shocking moments of his life.
When Jake tried to say something to stop them as usual he was, again, shut off by the Siblings stromed out of their marui, so fast that they didn't noticed Spider and could've bump into him if he didn't managed to avoid it in time. “ woah easy there cuz ”
He tried to sounded chill, but the way they hastily turned to him was too.. too fast he wonder if they'd get neckache after that
Then they started to cry, out loud, little Tuk quickly ran to him for a tight hug and cried into his chest as if she was afraid he would disappear before her eyes if she doesn't hurry, he had just realized how much this three-years-old na'vi girl had grown in that moment due her height and strength she leaned and put on him. the older siblings also moved to his side pulled him into their hug. Spider can feel their tails curled around his middle, his thigh, his legs and his waist.
Spider was really confused now. Why are they be like this?? Did something happened?? If it's only Tuk, he could assume she had a nightmare and he know how to handle it! But this! This with other siblings had same action, he had no idea what should to do.
Not that he mind it though he liked it even, but it's too sudden and he couldn't keep up with whatever they're thinking “ um.. what's worng guys? ”
They didn't answer him just some murmur ,into his shoulder from Lo'ak and Neteyam, he couldn't understand due how quiet they were. However this was bad, really bad, they're still in fornt of the Sullys' marui and Neytiri can show up at any moment, she would kick him out as soon as she saw him be near her children this much.
“ Kids, let Spider breathe should you? ” Jake suggested after returned from his thoughts, he also didn't sure about his mate's reaction to this especially after everything that happened yesterday, or he should say his previous dream? He didn't ask for this kind of dream
The siblings' ears perked up a little but they weren't stopped their snuggling to their human brother friend, but at very least they hold back a little more except for Tuk, wait his kids also younger?
He heard footsteps and oh his mate was on her way, his chlidren must heard it as well 'cause they hastily got up and shield Spider from door way before set off with Tuk threw herself into Spider's arm to be hold by him.
“ Jake, where the kids going? ” Neytiri pushed the beaded curtains aside, her words were so firm, so sharp that it sounded like command and it's not sounded like he's in a dream
Of course you're not, stop being in denial already, Jake. Even though all of these made no sense and no one explained anything to him, it's not a dream, it's real, all of these nonsense shit are real. He sighed in acceptance. “ Sorry, Neytiri but I think we should give them times they need for now. ”
His mate looked offended as he continued, or more like changed topic, “ However, did you notice something weird like our children look.. younger? As if.. I mean.. ugh I don't know how to explain this damn consequence ” Jake messed his hair in frustration of himself.
Neytiri, closed her eyes, took a deep breth try to calm herself as well then let out a long exhale, she calm down a little “ yes, yes I noticed that. It's most obvious with our baby Tuk, she's a baby but not like this ”
Jake desperately needed explanation. Why Eywa can't tell anything to him before did all of this and chose to left him confuse? He would say this again in case he didn't made it clear enough; If this was a dream, please hurry wake him up.
———
Neteyam didn't know how to react to all of these just like his siblings were; yesterday they had learned that their brothers was dead and now when they woke up they met him again even though it's him in younger version.
Surely, made them all confuse amd totally lost, what can be done in this kind of situation anyways? If this was a dream then he wish he wouldn't have to wake up, at least not so soon.
He made up his mind as soon as he saw him that just screw it all they're back, to home, to the forest and with their brother and that's all what matter. He looked over Spider's, who still confuse and ask for explaination, head to met his siblings' eyes
They're all agreed with him

Danganronpa 4 - All Stars
Chapter 1: Confusion and Companionship (1.1)
I wake up to darkness. It's pure black like I fell into a black hole. I try waiting a couple of minutes so my eyes can adjust, but it isn't any better. …What even happened? I was just outside of Hope's Peak wasn’t I? But then I felt horrible. …I must've passed out, but why… Did I just randomly die? Damn…
I take a step back as slow as I can and trip over something. “SHIT!” I hit my head on what seems to be a shelf. …Guess not. Dammit, pull yourself together, Curt.
I sit up after making a fool of myself and rub the tender spot on my head. At least now I'm certain I'm just in a dark room, but I still don't know where I am.
I get up and place my hands on the wall to feel my way around the room. The wall I fell at seems to be a shelf full of stuff. Maybe I'm in a storage room? I make it to a corner and continue sliding my hands on the rough concrete wall. The smell of chlorine fills my nose as I move around. Weird… I continue feeling my way around the room, careful not to fall again until I manage to find a light switch.
I turn on the lights, and the room lights up. I take a minute to adjust to the new lighting and look around the room. Shelves line the back wall, their all filled with pool supplies from pool noodles to floaties. On the left of the room is a clothing rack of swimsuits, but it’s what I see on the other side of the room that catches my attention. There beside a pile of boxes…
I walk over and kneel beside the person. They appear to be unconscious. Around my age, probably younger. I think to myself. His short brown hair is tied up in a loose ponytail, and his probably once grey shirt has some blood splattered on the front, but it doesn't seem like he's hurt.
A couple of questions float through my head, but my thoughts are interrupted when suddenly the guy jolts awake and rubs the gunk out his eyes. I back up to give him some space and watch him. Who is this guy?
He looks around confused, and when he realises I'm also here, he stands up and forms a boxing stance. “Who are you?” He asked, I couldn't really read his face, but it was clear he would fight me if he had to. “...some motherfucker working for those guys who kidnapped me?” He asks.
... Is this guy high or something? What is he even talking about? The question was so left field the only thing I could say was… “Huh?”
“I asked who you were, dumbass!” The guy says annoyed.
“How about you tell me first? Why should I just trust you if you look like you're getting ready to clock me.” I ask him. Sure, I could’ve just told him but he was starting to piss me off. If I was here to hurt him I could've done so earlier.
“Geez, fine” the guy said as he put his fist down, “I’m Christian Aki, Ultimate Boxer.”
“Wait, you're an Ultimate?” I ask. If he’s also an Ultimate, are there more of us here?
“Yeah, I’ve won a couple championships. Are… you an Ultimate too?” Christian asks, “I mean, if you were working for those guys you probably would’ve attacked me while I was unconscious.” Christian mumbles to himself.
“You just realised that? Actually whatever, I don’t want to get punched. Curt Richy. Ultimate Investigative Journalist.” I say as I extend my hand. It's an awkward couple of seconds, but he shakes it. “Mind if you elaborate on that kidnapping part?” I ask him.
“Right, so I was walking home when these guys cornered me in an alleyway-”
“Why didn’t you just fight them off?” I ask, “You just said you’re the Ultimate Boxer.”
“At first I figured it was nothing, plus I save my skills for the ring, that way I don’t seem like I have anger issues and randomly punch people, anyway, do you want the rest of the story or not?”
“Alright, my bad. Just continue” I tell him.
“Once they cornered me, I started fighting back, I managed to knock a couple of them out and even break one guy’s nose.” Christian said, pointing to his shirt. “Afterwards I think one of them grabbed a bat and knocked me out cold or something.”
I suddenly feel very nauseous, like I just ate a rotten egg salad and then went on multiple roller coasters for fun. The story seems so familiar, almost like a story or game I've seen before. It's on the tip of my tongue, and I almost have the answer but…
“You alright, Curt? It looks like you're about to vomit.” Christian says, disrupting my thoughts.
“No- I mean yeah I’m fine, I just…” The thought suddenly disappears from my mind. What was I thinking of again?
I try to remember when the memory of being attacked rushes into my mind. I was knocked out and dragged into a van. Although that’s what I remember, it doesn't seem like what I was thinking of earlier. But it must be, what else would I be thinking of?
“The same thing happened to me, too. I was walking home when someone knocked me out with chloroform” I tell Chrsitian. I’ll try and remember later.
“Yuck, I heard that it smells awful,” Christain says apologetically.
“Actually It was kind of sweet,” I tell him. “Like how the air will be when we get out of this stuffy closet.”
I make my way towards the door. It’s worn down but made of a heavy metal with no windows. By looks alone, there's no way to tell where we even are or if this leads outside. I put my ear to the small margin of the door. I feel a small breeze, but that could just be air conditioning. I try to listen more closely; birds chirping, a small stream is running, and the faint mumbling of some voices, I can't make out what they're saying.
“The door leads outside, but there’s people out there. Do you think you can deal with them if they're a threat?” I ask Christian while testing the doorknob. It's unlocked, but I don't open the door yet.
His face lights up. “Fight ‘em sure! Just stand back,” He says as he stretches his arms and walks toward the door.
“It's possible they're also in the same situation as us so don't-” My warning goes unheard as Christian takes a deep breath, flings the door wide open and charges towards the group of people.

I hope this isn't an unwelcome addition re: your vent about race, but it reminds me of my own experiences.
I didn't know I was latino until I was 13. Yeah there were *very* strong "hints", what with the whole "grandparents only speak spanish with limited english", "parents can speak spanish", "we're brown (except for my mum)", & "eat spanish food at grandparents". But like. I had never heard someone say what we actually were and I was afraid it'd be racist if I assumed we were latino if we might not be. For some reason.
Hah, I remember getting kinda mad at people who (rightly) criticized the "ambiguously brown" trope in media, because it was the experience I most related to. That's what *I* was. I wasn't anything specific, I was just ambiguosly brown for most of my life.
So like. I finally asked my dad what we were and he was essentially like "haha what are you stupid or something. We're LATINO obviously, what a silly question!"
So I just went "Oh okay." And pumped the brakes on our conversation. Quickly after I realised that that wasn't enough for me. "Latino" is a rather broad category, I wanted to know what *exactly* we were.
I felt kind of stupid after that though, and I didn't want to draw attention to how stupid I was by asking a follow up question (nor did I want to talk to my dad), so I just didn't until I was 16.
I got to thinking about it again, and I realised that El Salvador had been mentioned quite a few times in regards to ~parent lore~ (I truly did not know much about my parents. I literally didn't even remember my mum had an older brother. So I'd just try to piece together their stories whenever they ranted to us about like how our other parent had ruined their life or something. Bits and pieces they'd shared with us over the years).
So I texted my dad about it (who I was thankfully far away from by then. Funnily enough this was one of our last conversations before I cut contact with him), and he said we were salvadorians 👍. So yeah.
But like. I feel so disconnected to my culture. I don't even know what our culture IS. And despite now living in a place with many latinos, I feel like I still can't get into it. Firstly because it would involve me interacting with people. But secondly (and most importantly) because I feel like interacting with latinos would just reveal to them how unlatino I am. I can't speak spanish. I know nothing about us.
One thing about it is that I feel like I have to learn Spanish before I'm allowed to try to engage. But learning a whole language takes so much time. And I don't like doing it because it reminds me that I don't already know it! And I *should*!
Oh well. Not like I could've learned it when I was younger, or in that house with my dad. I don't know why they didn't raise us bilingually. But it's not like I could've learned it when I was young either, my dad makes fun of my mum for her spanish (she spoke exclusively Spanish when she was younger, but had to learn English when she moved to the US at 8. She lost a lot of her Spanish since then), which would make me way too nervous to practice spanish and be bad at it at first with him around (he somehow didn't think that would impact us? He ended up wanting us to learn spanish, so good luck with that when you act like *that*).
Also. I keep worrying that I look white. I've always been light skinned, but until 8th grade I thought it was obvious I wasn't white?? But maybe not so. It's not like I can ask people.
In 8th grade the teacher briefly left the room and left me in charge of it (I was seen as the most responsible/trustworthy), so I made a joke about me turning out to be a dictator, to which someone joked about that being racist, to which I said "It's not racist, 'cus I'm not white" (in a manner that I *hoped* conveyed that I was *joking*, and that the joke was that poc can still definitely be racist (I mean c'mon just be around my dad, you'll see)).
And he just stared deadpan at me. I thought he confused me for white, so I kept reiterating that I wasn't, and he just stared and stared at me the whole time.
I realised later that maybe he thought I was being serious, and that was why he wasn't smiling, or maybe he just didn't think the joke was funny.
But like. I couldn't know. "Later" was actually quite a *while* later, so at that point I was already out of school at home all day, under the pretense of "homeschooling" (there was never any schooling).
I don't even know why it matters if I look white. There are plenty of latinos I know of that could pass as white, who I never doubt are latino. Ugh. I don’t know. This is an issue that could be solved by interacting with more latinos. In fact, all of these issues could be solved by hanging out with more latinos. I gotta get over myself sometime and realise that there are PLENTY of latinos who are disconnected from their culture and who don’t know spanish so it's FINE interacting with fellow latinos is FINE there's no way I can fail some sort of latino authenticity test. Whatever. Problems and solutions for later.
because I feel like interacting with latinos would just reveal to them how unlatino I am. I can't speak spanish. I know nothing about us.
hahh. sameee
This is an issue that could be solved by interacting with more latinos.
also same... UNFORTUNATE!
i getcha tho. and i also get the whole "not knowing what we are until i'm a teen" thing. ive always thought it was weird that my mom and dad know a ton about their own family histories but never really made much effort to impress it into us. EH oh well.

my gripes with ep 1 Phayu
so I came across this post that made me remember my biggest gripe with Phayu at the begining.
Plot-wise, I see why that needed to happen, because unlike everyone else around them, Rain doesn't really Idolize Phayu, in fact, he's semi-jealous because his current crush is enamored by him. Still, he doesn't know the bike bro is Phayu, so he admires him in a different way than others. If he acted nice (like he should've done) and let him know he indeed remembered him, he'd probably just be another admirer from afar. but if Phayu pretended not to remember him when it was only like a day or two ago and they actually talked, he'd have a less than admirable look at Phayu but still recognize him as a flawed person.
while also giving a better excuse as to why Rain didn't hesitate to ask him for help, because he knows more about cars than he does, but since he doesn't remember him, He feels comfortable asking for help from him again. at least, that's how I read it
but character-wise, this seems not only cruel to crushing Rain's spirit but also a way too convoluted and silly plot for a man with Phayu's level of intuition. Like what nitwit tinkers with a guy's car to have an excuse to be their knight in shining leather jacket, yet decides "you know what? I should make the cute guy think I don't remember him instead of just saying the truth that I vividly remember the cutie on the side of the road with a flat tire to maybe idk have a cute little icebreaker talk?"
Like there was no reason for him to think this would actually work out for him in his favor and he just got lucky that Rain is terrible at subtly stealing glances at him. Because for all we know, he could've just been completely willing to accept that he didn't remember him and move on with his life.
If anything, this, along with him fucking with his car should give him the idea that maybe Rain isn't just completely playing hard to get.
Maybe I'm Bias, but I 100% am on Rain's side for the mishap/borderline assault. Phayu! Buddy! you're supposed to be smarter and more mature than this! You genuinely thought that he was supposed to get the hint that you wanted to hook up instead of having him pay money to get his car fixed, when his car was messed up BY YOU!? You're hot! but sometimes people are just stranded in a rainstorm and need a mechanic, and they're willing to pay money for their car to be fixed.
It's not easy for everyone to catch on to the deeper meanings behind "can you pay the price" or whatever. and if you thought he was just clumsily hitting on you, why did ti take you a good head wack before you got the memo that he wasn't looking to sleep with you?
Is that what you think "playing hard to get" is? You're the king of playing hard to get! you should be able to tell the difference I feel.
But, like I said before, I am speaking from the lense of someone who is neurodivergent. So I might just be interpreting things as the way I view interactions with people.
But can someone else tell me if they also agree with this gripe? cause I know that kinda toxic and jackass decisions in the first episode of shows aren't anything new, but I just feel the scene is almost written as if we are supposed to all believe that Rain was the one making mistakes and leading him on because he's supposed to be too dumb to realize how obvious he is about his attraction towards Phayu. And I hate that because not only does that feel like victim blaming, but also excuses Phayu for making a dirt bag decision of trying to sleep with a very confused college student who is verbally telling him to stop and that he was not intentionally throwing himself at him.
like i said before, I love Phayu, but that decision making always pisses me off because it doesn't even really fit with his character.

MASTERLIST
I get home, like I usually do, like I've been doing the past three months since Leslie decided to start some design courses. Both me and Mark were fine with her doing that, she was tired of doing the same thing in the studio and was looking to do something new. I loved that from her. How she was never afraid of testing herself and taking risks, always trying to learn new things.
Ever since she started that course, she'd leave the studio an hour or so earlier, and we'd meet back home, where she'd be waiting for me with a beautiful smile. It was crazy how good changes looked on her: her hair was brighter, her skin looked smooth and her mood boosted.
Today is different though.
Mark said we had no customers left, so he told me to get home earlier because he was the only one that'd be busy that evening.
Something stops me from crossing the door though, my phone ringing in the back pocket of my jeans.
I open my eyes slowly, meeting the darkness in my room and the warmth of my blankets when I'm fully aware of the place I'm in. I roll in bed, insulting myself for having that dream again after so long. I thought I moved on from that, I genuinely thought I wouldn't be having that dream again, but guess I was wrong.
I groan when the phone doesn't stop ringing, and sneak my hand out of the blankets to reach it.
If it's Taehyung, trying to get me to pick me from somewhere else, I'm going to kill him. I don't know what time it is, but I'm going to kill him.
Cocktease
I'm even more confused when I see her nickname on my phone screen, because why is she calling at four in the morning? I bet whatever she needs to say can wait for a more normal time.
—Yeah?
While I wait for her answer, I roll on the bed again, lying my back on the mattress. She's totally silent, I can't even hear her breathing, so I kind of assume she might've called by mistake. I'm getting ready to hang up the call, but her voice stops me.
—What's the penalty if one of us doesn't carry out their part of the deal? —she asks fast.
What?
—Are you fucking serious? —I sigh hard— It's 4 am, what's your fucking problem?
—We never mentioned what could happen. And it's already been a week.
And she thinks about this at four in the morning. She could've asked me that earlier this evening, yet she didn't. She waited for me to get home, and fall asleep to do it. Unless...
—Is this an excuse to make sure I didn't take anyone home after leaving your house?
—No —she rushes to answer—. Listen...
—I'm a man who can keep a promise —I continue either way—. But I can tell you what I did after getting home...
—That's not what I called for —she replies back.
Sure, thing. If that isn't the reason, I can't make up who in their right mind would call just to ask something like that. Either she's crazy or she wants to annoy the fuck out of me. And, at this point, it's probably the two of them.
—I didn't think of anything because we are both grown ups. The moment one of us wants to walk away, it'll be okay —I decide to answer her question—. Why? Do you want to write down some penalties?
—No.
That answer leaves me confused, but I find it funny for some reason. She's contradicting herself and she just doesn't mind.
—Why are you awake so late, huh?
—I couldn't sleep —she doesn't sound convincing at all.
—So, since you couldn't sleep, you decided to wake me up —I sigh, loud enough so she can hear it—. Cocktease, I thought we said we would wave a white flag. It's the first rule.
She goes back to being silent. And, at some point, it kind of scares me thinking about the possibility of Y/n taking what I'm saying seriously. I was annoyed when I woke up, but not now that I'm talking to her.
I'm just playing around.
—Do you have plans for tomorrow? —I dare to ask, breaking the silence.
—No.
—Want to hang out? I'll drive you to work after.
I could've hung up after she said yes, but instead, I keep the conversation going, which doesn't make sense. It just seems like the right thing to do right now, and I don't care enough to look any deeper into it.
—Good thing you said yes, because you need to make up for waking me up with a beer —I chuckle—. You have no idea how hard it'll be for me to get back to sleep now.
—Oh yes, I bet it'll be so hard for you to fall asleep —she scoffs—. I saw it in Seneca, how problematic you are for that. Especially when you fell off the bed —she says with sarcasm.
—So that's what happened? —I palm my forehead— My knees were hurting when I woke up, now I know why. Thank you —I hear her laughing on the other side—. But it's not the same. You've woken me up in the middle of the night, that doesn't mean I don't have a deep sleep. Actually...
I don't know why I'm telling her how Taehyung pierced my eyebrow while I was asleep the night of my graduation after having way too many beers, but hearing her cackle and asking about it makes me think it wasn't a bad idea after all. It just flows naturally with her. It's not a forced conversation, it's just going on because we both want to talk to each other.
Weird, isn't it?
I hear her moving and yawning, before she points up she has never, in her life, gotten drunk. And I make Y/n laugh again when I gasp dramatically.
—I can't believe you.
—Never —she assures me—. I've never tested my limits. So yeah... never.
—I need to change that —I bite my lip.
We keep talking for a few more minutes, until I never hear her speak again. I call her name, and even make some sounds to get her attention, but I get nothing.
She probably fell asleep.
—Good night, cocktease —I whisper, hanging up the phone.
I look up at the ceiling through the darkness, trying to remember the last time I felt this way about talking to someone -without the aim of sleeping with her the next day. I mean, I know I have the whole deal with Y/n, but that's exactly why I don't need to talk with her right now. I could've cut the conversation, I could've ignored her call... But I didn't.
✸ ✸ ✸
—No, you pick him up.
Y/n looks at me nervously, and then looks around. When I first told her to reach out to any of the guys in here, and flirt, I was kidding -not really. I was just trying to piss her off and push her buttons, and I really thought she'd just shrug it off and move on. But, instead, she took my invite and agreed to it, trying to make me pick up the boy she'll flirt with.
She keeps encouraging me to choose, when I actually want to tell her that she doesn't have to do that. So I give in. I look around, trying to find any man that could be easy for her. Most of them are coming with other girls, or other guys, and that could put Y/n in an uncomfortable situation -if she's already struggling at doing it with one, I can't imagine how hard it'll be if she has public witnessing everything. No, I need someone who's alone.
I see one boy sitting on the counter, but he's just scrolling through his phone, nothing interesting. And when I see him dig his index in his nose, I know he can't be the one. Mentally shaking my head, I keep scrolling over the room, finding a guy with short brown hair, looking at his phone. He looks boring, but he's by himself and he has a book on the table -so it could be a good excuse to talk to him first.
Her eyes follow my finger, landing on the guy, just to fall on me back again shortly after. I try to reassure her, and cheer her up. And that seems to be enough for a while. At least until she's aware of what it's about to happen, and turns on her tracks to look at me again with horror. She gets my negative when I shake my hands in the air, and turns on her feet again.
After she finally taps on his shoulder, I swear I can hear her fast breathing and her heart pumping hard against her chest when he turns around. I follow every single movement she makes, and when I see her pointing up somewhere in the table, I think she might've taken the lead and control the situation. But instead of keeping the conversation going, I see the guy giving her a confused look, just to hand her some napkins right after.
—It could've been worse —I try to comfort her when she's back to me.
But she's still upset over what happened, at least it's what it seems by the way she hides her face behind her hands. Huffing and whining every few minutes. I tap on the table, trying to get back her attention.
—I'll give you a demonstration. Pick any girl you want —I encourage her.
Clearly, she goes for the girl who got there with her boyfriend, and that was all over him just five minutes ago. I try to give her the chance to change, but she genuinely wants to see me being rejected.
And that's not gonna happen.
—Hey —I greet the girl, who looks at me confused when I reach her table—. I need your help with something.
—Sure —she frowns, leaving her phone back on the table.
—I came with my girlfriend... No, don't look at her —I stop her, when I see her attempting to move her head towards my table—. She's jealous as fuck, but she's also pissing me off constantly on how I would never be able to pull a girl like you. So could you play along?
—Okay —she isn't frowning anymore, but I can tell she's still confused.
—Laugh and play with your hair —I smile, sitting on the free chair while I laugh along.
I keep talking nonsense, although most of it is me thanking her for helping me out. And it's all fine until I feel my body being lifted and dragged away from the chair, and I bet I've seen my life pass in front of my eyes when the six feet tall man raises his fist at me.
—Who the fuck are you?
—A friend? —I try, but that only makes him groan.
—I was looking for you —I hear her voice, before she tries to get in between us, although her eyes are fixed on me—, I told you selling those bibles around would get you in trouble someday.
—Bibles? —the man that's still holding me asks.
—Yeah —she nods fast—. Poor boy just got out of jail for robbing them, so he's trying to make up for it by helping to sell them. He doesn't realize when he's overstepping boundaries though, don't take him seriously.
As soon as he lets me go, Y/n holds me by my wrist and drags me away from there, back to our table. I look at her intensely, thinking she would apologize. She never does. She only looks away, at any point in the bar but me.
—You knew she was with her boyfriend.
—What? No —Y/n looks at me with rounded eyes, trying to act shocked by my accusation.
Thank god she didn't try to be an actress.
—It's funny —I look at her, while supporting both of my elbows on the table—. You were perfect at pulling a big story to save me from getting my nose broken, yet you are unable to lie to me with a short answer.
—Think whatever you want of me.
The way she lifts her chin and looks away again is so cute, it makes me smile and giggle unconsciously.
—By the way —I try to get her attention—, that story? How did you come up with it?
—When you have strict parents, you learn how to lie and come up with the dumbest, not totally believable, excuses —she shrugs.
I guess that makes sense.

Disasterology: Jegulus
- Vampire Regulus and Reincarnated James.
Summary: Regulus Black is a vampire and has fallen in love with the same soul, forced to know that versions of his love exsited again and again, this time, this version of James is different than all the other... Something about him is different.
He remembers. He remembers it all.

Note: Thank you Tarsh. For being so perfect.
-
Stars. Always burning, always suffering. Lover after lover, all not knowing. All with the same face, never the same name.
They all act the same. A meeting where one has know all their life and the other only for a week. That was the fate Regulus Black was doomed to always face.
An immortal vampire who's fallen in love with one singular soul that reincarnates in every life, somehow knowing him in them all. However this time, this meeting of his lover was different. He was the same as all the others, but somehow he... felt different.
He wasn't sure about it, but that didn't stop him.
-
James had just bought a house in London. It was a gothic type mansion. He bought it online, unknown to him he was scammed. Still, he couldn't not keep it, it was creepy but Interesting. He lived for thrill.
He had gotten chills walking around it, it looked as if it was built before London was. The house was cold, it didn't help that it was Winter in London. There were no neighbors, it was private property.
Over the days he would walk to corridors, find more rooms. It got creepier the more he was in the home, he could've sworn someone was there with him.
He could sense a presence. Watching him as he slept, following him in the shadows, examining him at all times. That was until one day, he found out just who was lurking on him.
-
He was up all night, couldn't sleep. He sat up, slowly moving his head to the corner of the room. Someone was there, but who?
"I feel like I'm going crazy, if you're there, show yourself."
"I can see you, I always see you."
He might not have had his glasses on, but he could still see figures.
"I see you at night, roaming the halls, stalking it."
"I notice that you play the piano when I'm asleep.. "
"You're hallucinating." He spoke, "I'm not here, not real. I'm apart of your imagination, being alone in this large house is driving you insane."
"You should leave."
"You can't fool me, I'm not stupid."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"And thou is completely positive?" James twitched, the way he spoke was so firm.
"Yes..I am."
"If you are, as you say you are then you would be able to see the blood all over the walls."
"..." He went silent. "There isn't just blood, a woman roams all day.."
"You're trying to confuse me." James said. "If I was hallucinating, I would know your name."
He smirked a bit, "You do know my name."
"No I don't."
"..Yes you do." He smiled, "You do."
"No.." he questioned, "Regulus, but you know that." Regulus. "Regulus.." feeling his name on his tongue, it was so— "Do you know my name?" James asked. "No, but I am a figure of your imagination that you created to ease the loneliness." James scoffed. His voice was stern, cold, deep with meaning.
He was intimidating. "My name is James. James Potter." Regulus tumbled a bit, not enough for someone to notice. His name was James.. James, he had to remind himself that he wasn't his
James reached over for his glasses. He looked at the dark person he knew as Regulus. He only saw a silhouette, the next thing he knew he was gone. He rubbed his eyes gently through his glasses.
After their short Interaction, Regulus doesn't show himself for weeks leaving James to be isolated in his thoughts. Why was he so familiar? Why did it feel like they've met before, the way he talked, his mysterious aura, and all together him. He was so blinded with confusion.
Regulus, a man that he had no clue whether or not he'd been hallucinating was on his mind non stop.
While Regulus couldn't bring himself to go near James. He walked down the basement stairs, he was positive James never knew about it. James didn't know about a lot of things in the house and he wanted it to stay that way.
He set the candle down, he looked at the large sheet. He yanked it off, revealing a painting. It was a painting of someone he once knew.
They were so identical.. the same. He covered it back up, he's kept it covered every since that day. The day his torment started.
He found himself outside after that, well, on the balcony. It was snowing, the moon was always a comfort to him.
The spot was nostalgic and safe at the same time. Whether it was bad nostalgia or good, it was there.
"We haven't anything wrong, what's so wrong with this?" Their faces were close, "No, we haven't."
"I know that there is nothing wrong with how I feel about you." Their lips brushed, "Nothing.."
Regulus gripped the railing in anger, how could he allow that to happen? How could he let him die? It was his fault, all his fault, if they never met he would've loved a happy life.. a long life.
Maybe he would marry, who knows, his guilt was everlasting.
Regulus Black was a murderer.

skdjaks im catching up on ur recent posts cuz ive been inactive on tumblr, and i came across the one where u and some ppl in the replies lament on loving the idea of relationships but never developing crushes rlly and finding it hard to date and whatnot, and damn i relate. i was gonna comment but i wanna stay anon for now, so i am in ur inbox instead huhu. but yh i deal w the same thing, ppl have had crushes on me before, but ive never once returned them? and like even if i find someone attractive as far as i know that doesn’t translate to wanting to bone… blech. i was talking to my friend abt this yesterday, and i was telling her that maybe ill try just going on dates and figure out how i tick?? general research has led me to id as demi after contemplating ace when i was like 13 so,,, who knows rlly. tldr i am similar and i get being confused abt it H
Ohh this is so interesting actually! Like, I genuinely wasn't expecting that so many of you would relate when I wrote that post??🤔 Obviously I knew that there's no way that I'm the only one on this whole planet, but still, seems a lot more common than what I had thought!
I'd like to think that it's very much okay to be confused by these kinds of things, no matter how frustrating it can also be. That's pretty much what I've been telling myself recently. Even if I'd like to find someone I really connect with and to have a relationship, there's no rush or need to force anything immediately just for the sake of it. Maybe it can even be fun to explore with time, and to figure out those things that will make us tick?
For me it's probably more about working on my social life in general than about anything else. Especially since the apps clearly don't do it for me and there's not really any other ways to meet new people. But I'm kinda feeling optimistic about it, mostly because I've been enjoying being social so much more lately!
Thank you for sharing love! This topic has been so interesting and I've enjoyed hearing everyone's experiences xx
///
Huge RAMBLE warning lmao:
I actually brought this topic up in therapy after we chatted about it here, kinda just theorised about it while trying to make sense of it all. My/our conclusion was that, for me, it could stem from ✨trauma✨ and needing a lot of time to truly open up/warm up to people (demi?/trust issues/hyper-independence). And since the societal norm is to often move a lot faster than that, I haven't even had the time to see the possible connection/spark/whatever in people, because they've already deducted, based on me having been very cautious and closed off, that I'm not interested, and so they moved on. Which in turn could've made me feel unwanted or uninteresting or unattractive or even abandoned, y'know? So I'd be left confused, feeling like there was something wrong and unattractive? about me, while also wondering why I'm never actually interested in anyone even though I've always longed for those deep connections with people.
Nowadays I've been feeling a lot lighter and... open? I guess, and I can genuinely see a change in the way people approach me? Or maybe they've always approached me the same way but I just wasn't able to be receptive to it🤔 Dunno! But there must've been some sort of micro-visible behavioural shift in me or something, because as soon as I have started to feel like I can and want to seek out people's company and I genuinely enjoy it, people are just... suddenly there? Whereas before there was this void?? Even when I tried to change that.
And despite me not having met anyone specific I'd be interested in dating, I have felt like I could actually do it now if the right person came along. (When I tried dating through apps years ago I felt like I was forcing it. It was very surface level and short lived, didn't feel... right?) And with that 'shift', or whatever it is that's changed in my behaviour??? I've literally been dodging date invites this past year like it's a sport???? Like tf?😭😂 This is mind boggling to someone who has for years thought that no one just gives a shit about me and there's something so unattractive about me that that's why no one shows any interest... But I think it really is a lot to do with some strange subtle messages that were given off? (and maybe also me leaving the house sometimes lmao....) I believe I wrote it in one of the more brainy stories as well, maybe CYE?, that if someone's whole body language, subconsciously or not, screams 'leave me the fuck alone', people are likely to leave them alone. And if we're not aware that that's the message we're giving off, it can very easily make us feel confused and like something's inherently wrong with us.
But then again, I don't think I would've been ready for anything like this a few years back, so perhaps the brains are smarter than we think and know that it takes time to heal. My therapist agreed that not having crushes could be due to so many things, but what I was saying did track to him. Slow to warm up/demi? + (social) anxiety + trauma are a hell of a combo when it comes to building new relationships. No matter why I'm not having crushes easily, he told me to take it easy on myself and to be understanding; after dealing with mental health crap and trauma for most of my life, it'd be very unreasonable to compare myself to the societal 'standards' or expect myself to do things in the same phase as other people are. Like, I had other shit to deal with growing up, so maybe I'm just now feeling like I'm ready to be myself, and it's okay to take things slow.
(And while writing that, speaking about people suddenly being there when before I felt like no matter what I tried, I was struggling to connect with people; I just got a thank you text from someone I helped at work when they were upset about something, and they said they'd love to see me (this one is in a friend way, not a date way) outside of work sometime as well :((((( is it weird if I cry lmaooo) xx

Chapter 1 and 2
Max and The Family Affair
Title - Max and The Family Affair
Fandom - Stranger Things
Rating - Teen and Up
Couples - Hargrove (Steve Billy)
Trigger warnings: mention of physical and mental abuse
Summary: When we moved to Hawkins my life got even stranger. I just hope Billy and I can find middle ground to survive what Hawkins throws at us
-------------------
chapter 1: Big Brother
I will remember that day like it was yesterday.
It was a day off school and our parents had gone to work for the day.
Usually, I would just go and visit my friends but I just wanted to relax and without my parent's home, especially Neil, it was easier.
I was in my room when the knocking on the door started.
I knew that Billy was in the living room lifting weights because I could hear the tv on.
The knocking continued which meant two things, one, Billy couldn't hear it over his stupid program, or two he didn't care if someone was there.
Sighing I headed past the brute in the living room and went to front door where the unwelcome visitor was still pounding on the door.
I undid the lock and opened the door slightly unaware that Billy had stopped what he was doing and kept an eye on me.
The person on the other side shocked me. It was Jason Carver, a junior member of the high school basketball team and an all-around annoying jock.
“Can I help you?” I asked cautiously as I knew him and Billy were not friends. Billy had made that quite clear on our trips to and from school.
Jason smiled. “I am here to see you, of course beautiful,” he said and tried to push the door open.
Groaning, I leaned against the door and something glistened in the sunlight.
That's when I saw it. The gun resting in his side pocket and started freaking out on the inside while remaining calm on the outside.
“I know your shithead brother is in there, I saw his ugly ass car. Why doesn't he come and face me like a man” Jason said, his eyes flashing with anger.
Not knowing what to do so I asked “what did Billy do to piss you off?” Meanwhile, hoping that someone was on my side, I made a finger gun behind my back in all hopes that Billy would see and understand.
And to my surprise, he did because he was behind me in seconds, pulling me in close and protectively wrapping his arms around me and that's when I realized he had been supervising the whole time.
“What the fuck Carver? Bringing a weapon to my house and scaring my little sister. She could've been hurt if you started waving it around” he said, his arms still holding me tightly against his chest.
I watched as the ferocity in Jason's eyes intensified. “You come into town and suddenly they're talking like you should be captain for the rest of the season. I am just here to make sure you don't want the position” Jason said as he placed his left hand on the gun.
I thought for sure billy would move me and take a swing but he stood there calmly and replied “Carver the basketball team is all yours and King Harringtons’. I've got a sister and grades to focus on, not some hotshot jocks”.
My eyes probably bulged as big as Jason's who scoffed and turned around. Steve was walking up the path as he was leaving.
“What did he want?” Steve asked, confused by the whole scene in front of him.
“Aww he just wanted to threaten me about being on the basketball team Harrington, no biggie except he was packing and could've hurt Maxie here” Billy said literally making me confused and happy at the same time.
Billy finally let go and motioned for Steve to follow them in. They had secretly (basically everyone knew but stayed silent) been dating for a few weeks and we're working on a plan for them to come out without Neil killing Billy.
As Steve got to the doorway I motioned for him to stop for a minute. “What's up Max?” he asked worriedly.
“Not only did Billy take a protective and nonviolent stand against Jason, but he also called me Maxie which he hasn't done for years. I'm worried he's sick or something” I replied honestly.
Steve, smiled, ruffled my hair and said “You will never understand how much he truly loves and cares for you. I have been working with him on showing it more and hopefully, soon you will both be living with me”.
I watched as he headed in and Billy kissed him on the forehead. I wanted to cry with happiness but I took a deep breath and told myself I would save that if all of what Steve said comes to pass.
Chapter 2: Steve
The next day as I exited the middle school I saw my brother's prized Camaro.
He didn't normally pick me up at school, I usually met him at the high school.
I was even more shocked when I approached the driver's side and the driver's seat was empty.
Looking around I saw Steve talking to Dustin who must have a Steve radar because she didn't see him there at all.
Going over I saw the look Steve had and knew immediately something was really wrong especially since he had the keys to the Camaro in his hand.
“Where's Billy?” I asked the two guys. Steve came over when he heard me and guided me to the Camaro, Dustin following in tow.
He motioned for us to both get in. I climbed in the passenger seat and Dustin got in the back.
I turned and looked at Steve and said “explain now”.
Taking a deep breath Steve said “Billy and I had met at his car during lunch for a quick make-out session.
Of course, Neil decided to show up at the school for the first time ever for something and caught us.
He literally dragged Billy out by his hair, told me to stay away from his family and threw Billy into the front seat of his car.
Before he did though Billy tossed me the keys and said to make sure you don't get around them ever again.
I haven't heard from Billy since, so here I am. We will find him, Max”
I shrunk into my seat as Steve started the car and headed to his place.
My heart was racing and I couldn't stop the tears. Billy and I had finally started repairing the relationship that Neil had broke and now he was gone. Possibly forever.
I didn't even notice when we arrived back at Steve's place. It wasn't until I heard car doors opening that it even hit me.
Silently I got out and followed Steve and Dustin to the house. As we approached we saw sheriff Hopper and my heart dropped to the ground.
“They had found a body, I just know it,” I thought to myself as we finished the approach.
Hopper looked at me with the look of someone delivering horrible news.
“Just give it to me straight Hopper,” I said planting my feet and willing my body to stay right where it was instead of taking off.
Taking in a deep breath he said “we found Billy Max. He is in a psychiatric facility that specializes in “helping” people not be gay. We are working with law enforcement in Indianapolis right now to get him out but it could take a while and I don't know what shape he will be in”.
He was alive. That's all that mattered at that point. “He will get out you will see,” I said and ran up and gave Hopper a huge hug.
“As long as he's alive he will get out,” I said again and ran inside.
Later that night, after Dustin’s mom picked him up, Steve and I were sitting in the dining room having dinner when a loud knock sounded from the front door.
I must've gone pale with fear because Steve placed his hand on mine and said softly, “Neil is in jail he can't hurt you, Max”.
I nodded and both of us headed to the front door.
When we opened it there stood Billy, battered, bruised, bleeding but standing there.
“Can I come in or are you both going to just stare?” Billy asked, annoyed.
Steve threw his arms around him and gave him a big kiss. Billy grunted but didn't back away.
I just stood in the hallway with tears running down my face.
I felt his arms before I saw him. He was the one who was in pain but he was comforting me.
At that moment I realized my big brother was not going anywhere. I will always be safe.
Or so I thought.

friend... why would you do this to me. i watched it. my heart is broken. like i am crying my eyes out rn... how did they convey the feeling of nostalgia, friendship, love, and heartbreak in 2 hrs like this. if im being honest i went into it not expecting to be attached to the story that much cus its only 2 hrs, they wont make me feel what baekdo has (sorry i had to compare) but it was.. so freaking sweet? like her loyalty and love to her friend that she went out of her way to put her feelings first cus she loves her friend that much but her friends feelings are valid too she shouldve told her ;-; but oh man... i fucking bawled my eyes at the train scene... then got confused as to why in the world did he go MIA (i had baek yijin flashbacks) and honestly wasnt even thinking the worst. her crying on her blind date cus they had the same name was REAL i felt it... (also this is how i felt baekdo would've been tbh) only for me to find out he passed away I HATE IT HERE AND THE VIDEO AT THE END ARE U KIDDING ME IM SO FUCKING SAD.. he was going to see her. i wonder what happened 😭 they weren't even dating for real yet and all these memories were the sweetest things. i dont even know how to talk about it. i felt a lot. like i was thinking about a love i can't even reach anymore, but when someones gone gone 🥺 i guess it can still be the same pain if that makes sense. i was pleasantly surprised how much i enjoyed them. im sad but a good sad 🥺
AAAAAAAAAAA I AM SO SORRY ))))))): i feel like you've properly laid out my exact experience as well because i went into the movie thinking 1) oh omg 90s! maybe this one won't hurt me like 2521 and i looooove love love when things take place in earlier decades 2) oh it's only a movie? ok i probably won't be as invested 3) and then i was wrong <3
the last like, thirty minutes of the movie HITS you when you least expect it and i think that was what really got me?? because i'm thinking wow, he moved on, he got too busy, he just couldn't make time for her (basically following the same thought process that bora might have had) and then....................THAT.
tHE TRAIN SCENE WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND HEARTBREAKING AND WHO KNEW THAT WAS GOING TO BE THE LAST TIME THEY SAW EACH OTHER !!! I AM SO SAD AND UPSET !!!
also ur not wrong for making a baekdo comparison, i've seen a few posts talking about how if 2521 followed the plot of 20th century girl, it could've been a better ending in terms of a "well-done sad ending"
THERE'S JUST SO MUCH TO FEEL AND THINK AND PROCESS !!! I FEEL YOU COMPLETELY ))): IT'S SUCH A GOOD, BEAUTIFUL, BITTERSWEET STORY ))): i think one of the things i loved about it was that they had such a strong bond, despite being in the "early" stages of their relationship? like the use of "like" as opposed to "love" makes it that much more heartbreaking because you can't help but think of what could've been. in a way, they're almost like that "almost" tragic poem. like they almost could've had it all, they almost, almost almost ............. but couldn't.
there are some theories about what happened to woonho, like him dying on the plane back to korea when surprising her ( though i feel she would have heard about it ). i *personally* think it was either a case of him being terminally ill and dying before he could see her one last time, or a car accident of some sort. either way. P A I N .
thank you for going on this journey with me, i'm glad you enjoyed the movie nonetheless ))):

Lee was excited during training for no reason, or that’s what someone else might have thought at a glance.
Truth was, his happiness bloomed from elsewhere– Neji was supposed to return from one of his long Jounin missions that day, and he was eager to speak with him once again. He had exchanged letters with his friend during his absence, yet the taijutsu master yearned to be by his side once again.
A long time had passed after he realized his feelings about his teammate weren’t… exactly platonic, but that was alright. Neji would probably never like him back, yet Lee was content just by getting to spend time with him, albeit his other friend ended up lending him an ear about the contents buried deep into his heart.
“He is coming back today, Tenten! Are you not excited?” he said after Gai had dismissed them for the day, a huge grin decorating his face. “I wonder where he went…”
“Of course I’m happy Neji will be back! But not for gay reasons, unlike someone,” Tenten teased, and the boy just rolled his eyes.
It was true that she was the only one who knew about his little crush, something that he really didn’t bother hiding at all– the weapons master loved to pester him about it, although always encouraging him to say something about it to Neji.
But she didn’t really understand. Tenten was supportive and smart, yet things like romance were out of her mind and a kind of undecipherable puzzle whenever she tried to comprehend it all.
“I do not want to lose his friendship. What if Neji gets mad at me? I do not want to–” Lee began to say, his gaze focusing on the grass around them until a familiar voice interrupted him.
“Why would I get mad at you?”
Of course his luck would play such games on him. The taijutsu master gulped and turned around to see his rival, who let out the faintest smile once their gazes met, if only for a second or two.
Seeing Neji’s eyes shine just by seeing him there was enough to make Lee blush, though his rival said nothing about that– however, Tenten smirked and hit him on the ribs with her elbow, winking at him when he complained.
“Oh, I forgot my moms needed my help for something– I’ll see you tomorrow, guys!” she said, leaving them on their own shortly after and without any kind of further explanation.
Lee couldn’t speak. His fingers trailed his bandages in silence, quietness broken only by his friend’s curious words, and a gentle hold of his hands that made his whole being feel weak like flan.
“Something’s bothering you,” was all Neji said, and it was enough to make Lee talk once more, for a flood of words to escape from his mouth without any kind of control.
His instincts were kind enough to not make him pretty much admit his love for the other boy, yet that was the topic ingrained in his mind from early on– and what he spoke about.
“I… I like someone, but I do not know if he will like me back. I am not sure if he even likes boys,” Lee admitted, feeling a deep blush on his cheeks as the brunet observed him, patiently waiting for him to go on. “I know the Hyuga are traditional, and it is alright if you do not accept it.”
Neji’s gaze softened at his words, and now he was the one to have flushed cheeks. The taijutsu master ended up being confused, even more when his friend just… entwined their fingers without saying anything at all.
So tender, yet… Lee didn't really know why his rival was being like that. Almost shy, as well.
“Lee, I'm not against that. I must admit something,” Neji muttered, and the taijutsu master gently squeezed his hands in an attempt to encourage him without words. “... I actually like boys, too.”
Lee's eyes widened on their own, and his lips trembled– out of all the things that his rival could've said, he would've never expected him to come out right after he did. Neji wasn't someone who enjoyed speaking about his feelings, yet… he had trusted him to do so.
And Lee couldn't help it but grin at the possibility of having a chance! His mouth moved quicker than his mind, and said the first thing he could imagine.
“Ah– that is great! You like boys, I like boys… we should date, Neji!” Lee exclaimed, his cheeks flushing in mere seconds as soon as he realized what he had just done.
Neji was more confused than he was, letting go of his friend's hands at last. His lips trembled slightly.
“... what?” was the only word he muttered in complete disbelief.
Darn it! Now his rival was mad at him, disgusted by him, and all because of his stupid mouth! There was no way for their friendship to be mended, and there was no way for someone as handsome as Neji to even think of becoming his boyfriend… stupid mouth.
“Neji, I like you. And I have for a long time,” Lee elaborated, refusing to look at the brunet in the eyes as he spoke. “I realized after you helped me walk after my surgery, and how nice you are to me now, inviting me everywhere… But, I understand if you do not feel the same. I know I am not the most handsome person out there.”
His friend frowned at his words, cheeks flushed, and the taijutsu master feared for his response. Perhaps that was the last straw, and Neji would snap at him at last– Lee didn’t think there was any kind of hope for their friendship to continue afterwards.
Or that was what he thought at first, until he felt a pair of lips on his cheek. His lips trembled as he looked at the other boy once again, who was smiling a bit… his gaze was gentle, somehow.
“Don’t say that. You’re not ugly at all. You’re handsome,” Neji said, playing with his hair as he spoke, leaning a bit towards the taijutsu master. “And… I’ve been flirting with you for months. Did you never notice?”
Lee felt his eyes watering up, and an enormous grin appeared on his face– more as his rival held his hand, entwining their fingers without saying anything at all. Neji ended up resting his head on Lee’s shoulder, allowing him to hug him in silence.
“I thought you were just being nice,” the taijutsu master admitted, and his rival just chuckled, returning the embrace.
“Well, yes. But it’s also because I like you.”
Lee felt his face becoming hot only by hearing that, and seeing Neji so comfortable in his arms… All of his worries faded away in mere seconds.

So I had a better day than what I expected. It felt good spending time with my family, I studied a lot and also got time to help my youngest cousin with his homework too, so a day well spent.
How was your day? Did something happen today worth writing about? If not I get it, I also got directly in bed as soon as I got off work.
So, regarding your post last night. I hope you got to sleep enough hours, you know you don't have to reply to every letter we do, just with a post and a #good night I get it, but I do appreciate you taking your time when you could be sleeping.
If you'd like to share said playlist with me you can do so, I don't want to pry on it so I understand if it's a very close to your heart subject. And I'm sorry, I do enjoy writing in english and I recall you writing that its good exercise for you too, but I get if one day you'd rather spanish.
Last night when I read it, I went to bed thinking about the last part of your letter, the one where you speak about your feelings when I wrote about her. I honestly didn't thought that you cared at all, I stopped seeing your post for a while because I saw that you were inactive for a couple of weeks or maybe a month, so I thought there was no use in hoping we speaking again and started writing as a form of copping with what was going on at the moment.
I am not going to be cruel about it. Neither do I want to tell you more about her because now I know it would hurt you doing so. And you already know that it still kinda hurts your relationship, but I guess we both have to learn to be ok with it, and heal from it.
I also got sad, angry, frustrated and... kind of betrayed back then. I guess I lean too much on the "too soon" but yeah, everyone heals at their own pace, even if we're just pretending to. But it surprises me that you even cared, or that you felt all of those things after I wrote about it. And now I wonder, why? Why did you felt confuse?
I'm not blaming you or anything, but you were the one who said goodbye back then and I just stood there with all of these unspoken feelings. You know I took so hard that decision, so that's why it surprises me your reaction to that. Why? I felt like you just wanted to forget about me and move on, I felt so many things and I just took the only secured chance that was in front of me: try to move on. You know I could've always waited for you, if you had said so, but now I can't in that same way. I can wait for you to be ready to put an end to this face to face, but I can't wait for you as a dream anymore.
I'm really sorry for always ending things on a bad note, I... I just want you to know my feelings, good and bad, and try to be 100% transparent with you. That's why I'm also asking for a face to face ending, so that we can speak about every little thing that comes to mind that day and not forget about it while we write other thoughts. And speaking of, I have this ideal of when we meet. It doesn't has to be all gloomy and devastating, I actually want it to be the opposite; I'd like us to meet in the morning, like, reaaaally early in the morning, at the place we used to walk together and the same place we spoke like, for the first time as friends (do you remember that day? I believe it was during a Noche Mexicana at our faculty and we went there with a couple of friends and they knew I was into you so they kinda didn't spoke too much with you so that I could start a conversation between us). We can go for a walk, talk about our lifes, buy snacks and eat them while talking, lay under a tree and see the sky for some minutes, and when the day comes to an end, say our goodbyes and known it may be the last. I'll wait for you to leave before me, as always. I'll see you until I can't, and then I'll leave.
