Stopped taking my spironolactone because I'm enlisting, and I didn't want to be on a medication that affected my blood pressure. I was prescribed it for acne, and it was the only thing that'd helped since my Accutane days, and now I'm breaking out worse than ever and falling into a pit of depression where I don't want to leave my house or see my friends really.
I wish I could figure my skin out, this is so upsetting.
I'm getting some coffee, and watching Anne of Green Gables to make myself feel better. (1985 Canadian version OF COURSE. The only version that matters)

Revamin Acne Cream -Acne
Tumblr media
Revamin Acne Cream is a topical skincare product that is marketed as an advanced solution for various skin imperfections, including acne, blackheads, whiteheads, and oily skin. According to its manufacturer, Revamin Acne Cream is formulated with natural ingredients that work together to combat these skin concerns and improve overall skin health.
The ingredients in Revamin Acne Cream include salicylic acid, tea tree oil, aloe vera, allantoin, and niacinamide. Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) that exfoliates the skin and helps to unclog pores, while tea tree oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce inflammation and prevent the formation of acne-causing bacteria. A sensational cream for acne-prone skin!
Aloe vera is a soothing and hydrating ingredient that can help to calm irritated skin, while allantoin is a natural compound that can help to improve skin texture and promote healing. Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 that has been shown to have a range of benefits for the skin, including reducing inflammation, improving skin barrier function, and reducing the production of sebum, which can contribute to acne.
To use Revamin Acne Cream, you should apply a small amount to clean, dry skin once or twice a day, depending on the severity of your acne or other skin imperfections. It is important to follow the instructions carefully and to avoid using the cream on broken or irritated skin.
While Revamin Acne Cream may be a helpful addition to your skincare routine if you are dealing with acne or other skin imperfections, it is important to remember that individual results may vary. It is always a good idea to consult with a dermatologist or other skincare professional before starting a new skincare product or treatment. See how Revamin Acne Cream affects the condition of your skin. Take up the challenge and get rid of acne!

Zits got you down? Let's bust some myths about #AcneCauses!
Tumblr media
Ever wonder why your skin decides to erupt in a volcano of pimples just before a big date? It's not just "bad hygiene" or eating too much chocolate (although, moderation is key, ). Let's get real about what causes acne:
Hormonal Havoc: Puberty, periods, pregnancy, even menopause - they all mess with your hormones, which can trigger breakouts. #WhatCausesHormonalAcne? Estrogen and androgen fluctuations are often the culprits.
Genetics Got You: Some of us are just predisposed to acne thanks to our family history. It's not your fault, but knowing your risk helps you be proactive!
Dirty Deeds: Bacteria on your phone, makeup brushes, and even your hands can clog pores and lead to breakouts. Keep things clean!
Grease Overload: Oily foods can increase sebum production, which clogs pores and creates the perfect environment for pimples to thrive. Opt for healthier choices!
Harsh Habits: Scrubbing your face raw and using harsh products can irritate your skin and actually worsen acne. Be gentle!
Stress Monster: Chronic stress can wreak havoc on your skin, including triggering breakouts. Find healthy ways to manage stress, like yoga or meditation.
Remember: Acne is super common, and it doesn't define you! Understanding what causes hormonal acne empowers you to take control. Talk to your doctor or dermatologist for personalized advice and treatment options. ✨

Hormonal Imbalance: Causes, Symptoms & Treatment
Whether you agree or not, no one wants to be a slave to their hormones, but the reality is something different. As hormones are everything, at different points in life their levels shift. It mostly happens before or after your periods, during the time of pregnancy, and after menopause. In general, hormones are chemical messengers produced by different glands and tissues present in the endocrine system and released into the bloodstream.
As a messenger, hormones travel to all the body tissues and organs through the bloodstream and give messages to the organs, informing them of what functions to perform and when to do them. Hormones play a huge role in the body as they help regulate a lot of processes, for example, managing appetite, metabolism, sleep cycle, heart rate, influencing mood, impacting stress and energy, controlling hunger, regulating the menstrual cycle, and more. In conversation with a medical expert from New Concept Clinic, a Gynecology Hospital in Dubai, be it a woman or a man, hormones are there for everybody. However, sudden fluctuations in the levels of hormones on a daily basis are normal.

Skin update
Since early September I've gotten more acne lol. How exiting. I looked it up briefly and it seems like it is hormonal acne; the pimples are mostly around my chin and are cystic.
[Def. Hormonal acne is caused by a change in your hormones. It usually appears in the bottom half of one's face and the pimples are cystic. For example, stress or menstruation can cause it. It may also appear periodically.]
Anyways, since it started when school also did, I can surely assume the stress is the reason behind it 👍👍👍👍 Phenomenal!!!!
Apparently Vitamin C helps with inflammation so I may try that.
