shout out to people with wrinkles. they are proof you lived a life, and be it one of joy or sorrow - you lived. you survived. I'm proud of you.
shout out to people with scars. be it from the world, something stupid, your own body, or even your very self - they are proof you lived. i'm proud of you.
shout out to people with stretch marks. you have grown, and that is wonderful. wether it be from childhood or the child you bore, you have grown as you have lived.
shout out to people who have birthmarks. you are touched with life herself, and you get to wear a badge of it. even if it goes away after a while. i'm proud of you.
shout out to people with acne. they are like beautiful dots of paint on your face, majestic like all artwork can be. i'm proud of you.
shout out to people with blackheads. like dots in a stary sky, you are as infinite as you are beautiful. i'm proud of you.
shout out to people with eczema. your skin is trying to fight you. that is okay. you are brave for fighting back, for letting yourself lose somedays, and for letting yourself win. i'm proud of you.
shout out to people with rosacea. your face is a rose garden, and sometimes you face those thorns head on - but thorns never take away from the roses beauty, do they? i'm proud of you.
shout out to people who get hives. like a hive for bees, your body is home to over a billion cells, and they fight for you at every turn. even if they sometimes bark at shadows.

Hi there! Asking for a friend.
So when I was a teen, I had a lot of acne on my forehead, temples, nose, chin, and jaw. I'm now 22 and like a lot of young adults, it's gotten better but I still have acne on my jaw, and some acne scars all over my face, as well as blackheads on my nose.
I have a mixed skin type (meaning it's both greasy and dry), and I moisturize after the shower, but I've gotten into the habit of exfoliating every day with a face scrub, and it's been brought to my attention that it might be the reason why my skin keeps getting so grainy after a few hours.
Problem is, if I don't use face scrub every day, my skin gets all grainy so it's like this vicious circle where I have to entertain a bad habit which only makes things worse, cause if I don't then my skin looks bad (kind of like when you wash your hair every day because if you don't it's greasy, but the reason it's greasy is that you wash it every day, see what I mean?).
So I'm getting really desperate, I don't know what to do anymore. I don't have bad enough skin to try roaccutane (and I've had some scary reviews from people who have, so it's not an option anyway), and I feel like I've tried everything. So if you guys have had the same problem and have found solutions, I'd be really grateful if you could share them with me :)
Thank you in advance!

Revamin Acne Cream -Acne
Tumblr media
Revamin Acne Cream is a topical skincare product that is marketed as an advanced solution for various skin imperfections, including acne, blackheads, whiteheads, and oily skin. According to its manufacturer, Revamin Acne Cream is formulated with natural ingredients that work together to combat these skin concerns and improve overall skin health.
The ingredients in Revamin Acne Cream include salicylic acid, tea tree oil, aloe vera, allantoin, and niacinamide. Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) that exfoliates the skin and helps to unclog pores, while tea tree oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce inflammation and prevent the formation of acne-causing bacteria. A sensational cream for acne-prone skin!
Aloe vera is a soothing and hydrating ingredient that can help to calm irritated skin, while allantoin is a natural compound that can help to improve skin texture and promote healing. Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 that has been shown to have a range of benefits for the skin, including reducing inflammation, improving skin barrier function, and reducing the production of sebum, which can contribute to acne.
To use Revamin Acne Cream, you should apply a small amount to clean, dry skin once or twice a day, depending on the severity of your acne or other skin imperfections. It is important to follow the instructions carefully and to avoid using the cream on broken or irritated skin.
While Revamin Acne Cream may be a helpful addition to your skincare routine if you are dealing with acne or other skin imperfections, it is important to remember that individual results may vary. It is always a good idea to consult with a dermatologist or other skincare professional before starting a new skincare product or treatment. See how Revamin Acne Cream affects the condition of your skin. Take up the challenge and get rid of acne!

Ok but why do people like pimple popping or blackheads extraction videos?! disgusting 🤮🤮🤮
LMAO 😂 OK 🤣🤣🤣
I actually had to take a moment to think about this one cause I've never watched one of those so...I had to try before I reply 🤣
So, most people find these videos "relaxing and satisfying" (I literally found the one I watched under the tags #asmr and #satisfying).
First thing is: yes that's somehow gross BUT humans really like gross things, like "it's gross but you can't stop watching". We often found "disgusting" something that we don't see as normal/common, but the fact that we recognize that thing as not-normal* makes us curious 😅
Second thing is: we see the resolution of a problem, in a very little time. Our brain really like to solve (and create lol) problems, so as we watch a problem being solved...our dopamine is pumping💥 (reward mechanism) and we feel satisfied
Third thing...(imma call in the psychoanalytic approach here, so don't say I hate psychoanalysis lmao.) People, (not only those who have skin picking disorder) might to associate the act of popping pimples/blackheads or hairs extraction to "bad sensation extraction". So you basically feel good because you somehow pulled out the bad stuff.
*(don't come for me on this blackheads and pimples ARE normal, we're just not used to normalize them... because ✨ society ✨)
