no i completely understand what you mean, i think maybe it’s the fact they’re all slowly starting to leave, like obviously yoongi’s going at some point this year as well and i know we’ve had a lot of lives and quite a bit of content but i think it’s also because it’s never ot7 stuff anymore so it’s just ☹️ i miss them

i’m so glad they’re all getting to do their own thing though, i saw a tweet yesterday saying it’s clear how much happier they are— like in 2019 when we’d barely hear anything from jungkook and now he’s just living his best life getting to do all the things he wants to. he’s more open with us than he used to be, my man’s been live like 5 times and we’re only in march 😟 for a lot of them if not all, their whole adulthood has been dedicated to a vigorous life style, obviously doing something they’re passionate about but i think even if it is that, a constant cycle of the same bs is gonna be a lot for anyone. so really i’m happy they’re exploring themselves a little more and just enjoying their time how they want to

they were okay.. i think because i forgot we didn’t have any eggs and i had to go and buy some, you’re only supposed to leave the butter-cocoa-sugar mix to cool a little so it’s not burning hot and it was there for 15 minutes cooling probably more than it should, they weren’t exactly how i expected them to be? but they taste good so i guess that’s all that matters. especially because i free handed the cocoa powder and didn’t bother to measure it 😭

i literally love anything sweet, like dessert is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. i am a sweet fiend

ahh the strawberry milk is really easy. sometimes textures of foods throw me off and some of the strawberries were kinda mushy so i thought i’d use them before they went bad 🥲

there’s no shame about periods on this blog 🫡 i understand the pain

we did work something out in the end so i can rest easy, and now i just have to figure out what to do until then 🥲

I also wanted to ask / say.....what paramore and fob album has the most deep cuts do you think? i think w paramore its self titled. theres so many songs that are great but i feel like they are not talked about much..ex: be alone / anklebiters / proof. for fob, i think it's srar... the mighty fall / rat a tat / where did the party go.

with paramore i agree with the self titled but also i'd like to throw riot in cause like why do ppl barely talk about miracle? when it rains? and then with fob i agree, even when the album was released i think those songs were some of the least talked about too, we could even throw in srar the song too

it was the last day of the first year, sunoo comes into the building, excited because he gets too see you again. how is he so whipped? and just like everyday, he walked in with a lot of eyes on his way. it annoyed the hell out of him, honestly, but when you two have gotten closer, the stares lessen. but now, why the hell is he getting more stares than usual?

sunoo's eyes go around, seeing you on the side with... jeongin.

"i may kind of like you." jeongin says and you awkwardly look over your shoulder, then back to the person in front of you. "you, y/n. yes, you."

"oh." you mumble softly. so jay was right. "well, i.."

sunoo frowns, continuing to walk not wanting to hear what you're going to say, but soon he was stopped when he heard his name being called. it was jeongin.

"hi." sunoo says, looking at jeongin as he presses his lips into a thin line, not knowing what to do. he doesn't know what he feels, if he's sad or awkward.

"look, i don't mean to ruin anything between you and y/n. all i wanted was for her to know. i'm really sorry." jeongin apologizes.

"jeongin, no ,we're—"

"it's okay." sunoo says and your eyes widen, looking at him. "as long as that's it." he says and your jaw drops. wait, what? why isn't he saying that there's nothing going on between you two? what the hell, kim sunoo?

"yeah, that's all." jeongin says with a small smile. "okay, i have to go. see you, y/n. sunoo." he says, patting sunoo on the shoulder as he takes off.

sunoo awkwardly stands in front of you, looking at everywhere but your eyes. when he feels like it's been too long, he looks at you with a nervous look as he lifts his hand up to gently push your jaw up to close your mouth.

you grab his hand, pulling it down. "sunoo, what the hell was that?" you asked and sunoo whined, closing his eyes as he puts a hand on his forehead.

"i don't know, i.." sunoo said as he looked at you.

"you just implied that we're together."

"why, do you like him?" sunoo asks and you shake your head 'no'. "well, why not?"

"oh my god, you know why not!" you exclaimed and sunoo stayed silent, realizing how frustrated you must have probably been with how he's been acting towards you lately, especially when he's not saying that he's just as in love with you as you are with him. you looked at him with a small frown on your face. "it's just.. i.."

sunoo catches a glimpse of jake from behind you and he nods, gesturing for him to finally tell you that he feels the same way as you do. sunoo takes in a deep breath as he lets you finish on what you were saying probably something about why sunoo shouldn't have done what he did.

"i'm sorry. it's just..." sunoo starts. well? just say it, sunoo. "i.. know how much you hate rejecting people. so.. yeah." oh, sunoo. what the hell. "sunghoon told me."

you press your lips into a thin line, nodding. "thanks, i guess." you say as you grab on the strap of your bag. "i have to go."

sunoo turns as you slowly walk off. "hey, text me when you're free?" he hopefully says.

you turn around, forcing a smile. "i'll try. i have a lot to do for the day." you lied, turning back around as you walk away. sunoo frowns, scratching his head. why couldn't he just have said that because he wants it to be true?

"hey." jake softly says and sunoo turns to see his friend getting nearer. sunoo forces a smile and jake pats his back. "it's okay. you really have to tell her though. after what you just did."

"sunghoon's going to combust when he hears about this." sunoo said and jake lightly chuckled.

You’re subscribed to Jaemins bubble, excited just like every other fan to recieve his message for today until his new messages don’t seem like the others.....

“What’s taking so long ?” You stared blankly at the LYSN* app while stretching your legs onto your leather couch.

You switched over to the Twitter app and scrolled through your timeline, briefly reading through whatever was the latest topic on nctzen Twitter. One tweet caught your attention which made you chuckle out loud

Nananotifs: “I’m pretty sure Haechan finally threw Jaemin’s phone out of the dorm window bc.......”

All Nanadoongies gathered on Twitter to complain about the absence of Jaemin especially since he was the only one who hadnt reposted Chenle’s beloved pup Daegal.

You sighed and switched back to the LYSN app and noticed you were able to send one more message to Jaemin before the app blocks you off until he sends a new message.

Y/n: nana I miss you please say something

JAEMIN: y/n did you eat today ? I’ve missed you!

Your eyes widened at the immediate message you received from your ult. Was is coincidental ? Ofcourse it was, they don’t get notifications from fan messages do they ?

You immediately switched over to Twitter already seeing the bubble update account sharing Jaemins new message along with the entire timeline screaming over his activity.

~boominana: “how dare he act so normal I’m gonna cry !!!!”

~jaeminjenos: “post a selfie Jaemin don’t be shy”

~dreamies023: “he’s probably busy guys let him post when he wants to”

The last account was right. Jaemin was probably so busy. It was nice that he still found time out of his schedule to message nctzens and that’s what you loved most about him.

Y/n: Jaemin you’re stressing everyone out on Twitter lol let us know you’re doing ok we love you !

JAEMIN: am I ? :/

Was it a delayed message ? You shook your head and decided it was probably just another glitch on the app.

Y/n: yes stop ghosting us !

JAEMIN: ghosting ? ㅋㅋㅋ so dramatic

You froze. There was absolutely no way that from the tons of messages he would be recieving right now that yours would be the one he read and responded to.

The interaction made your heart race and quickly switch over to Twitter, it was probably chaos right now wondering what Jaemins messages could mean.

Silence.

Everyone on the timeline moved on from Jaemins first message and there were no updates on the messages you had just received from him.

JAEMIN: y/n ~ are you not going to answer me ? How am I ghosting you :(

This could not be real. You felt a lump in your throat as you checked over your other bubble subscriptions which all seemed fine except for his. You had no idea how to feel or what to do.

Y/N: this is weird. Send me a selfie so I know you’re actually replying to me and not a bot -_-

About 15 minutes went by and you stared at the open chat. He had read your message but there was no reply.

“Humh it was a bot after all” you huffed, about to close the app when your phone pinged and you saw Jaemins name pop up.

A voice note.

“Hey y/n, I hope I’m saying your name correctly hehe So long story short I think the chat glitched and your name and profile pic added itself to my own bubble. Weird right ? Mark Hyung told me I should send a voice note because it will make you believe me a bit more and .....well we would know if you posted on Twitter which CANNOT happen hahaha you understand right ?”

What was happening right now.

You pinched yourself to make sure you didn’t accidentally fall asleep on the couch and start having a very eerie realistic dream.

JAEMIN: I know you’re shocked rn but I really enjoy reading your replies haha it was the best part of my day and well I couldn’t help myself today. I wanted to tease you lol

Y/N: wait so how long has this “glitch” happened for ?

JAEMIN: hmmm....about a month now I think...after you renewed your account I think hehe

You felt your cheeks heat up at the image of Na Jaemin and Mark Lee laughing at your messages.

By now you were already pacing across your entire apartment trying to come to terms with what was going on in your life right now. It became a force of habit to constantly check Twitter and make sure by chance somebody mentioned a glitch of some sort or SM announcing that the app is under construction or SOMETHING.

‘This couldn’t be real’ you thought.

Y/n: Uhm......are you sure that’s a good idea ?

After scrambling to your bathroom to make yourself a little presentable as if you just won a video call event for your ult, you finally set on a laidback look so it doesn’t look too obvious that you put a little effort in.

You decided to prop your phone on the mini tripod on your desk so the lighting from your bedroom window in front of you bounced off your skin perfectly.

Y/n: okay I’m ready. I’m a little shy so.....sorry if I can’t talk much...

You buried your face in your hands and groaned. The embarrassment was still eating at you and Jaemin was not letting you live those messages down.

You saw your phone light up and Jaemins kakao profile picture fill your screen.

With a shaky finger you press the recieve button and watch as the pixelated video start to clear up, presenting a very smiley Na Jaemin.

“Hi there” he said in his high voice and a bright smile on his face. He seemed to be sitting at his desk as well, hair still wet from either a rainy day or a shower.

“Uhm hi” you replied shyly and waved awkwardly.

“So this is the face behind the bubble profile huh”

“I guess so” you replied. It seemed as though you were calm and collected but on the inside you were screaming. Screaming that you were conversing with one of your favourite people right now.

“Good! Sorry to ask this again but did you clear the chat on bubble ? We have to be careful with that” he said in a concerned voice.

“Yeah I did after you sent the pic I finally realized it was definitely you so I went ahead and did it” you quickly said, kinda embarrassed by how fast your words came out.

Jaemin chuckled.

“You still doubted me after the voice note?”

“Just a little”

“You’re so adorable it’s ridiculous you know that ?” He gleamed and neared the screen, his deep brown eyes focusing on yours “ where are you from y/n?”

“Well I live in a lot of places but my hometown is _______. I learnt most of my korean while studying here in Osaka weird enough” you shrugged.

You moved to Japan for your first year of university since it was where you sort of grew up as a kid and took up extra korean classes once settled in the city.

“Osaka ?? Wow I love Japan I can’t wait to go back! Well now I kinda have an excuse to go” he winked sending your heart into a frenzy.

You giggled shyly “is this the fan service everybody talks about ?

“Fan service is a job....this is different I’m sure you know that y/n haha”

“All of this because of my profile picture ?”

“Well” Jaemin bit down on his lip as his eyebrows turned into a frown

“I obviously saw your pic and thought you were very cute but a big part of it was your messages and how you would always message me when I most needed it.”

“My messages are very random” you chuckled.

“Still made me smile throughout my day and that means a lot” he said and ran his fingers through his hair “so it’s kinda selfish of me to say, but id like for you to update me...personally”

My SM SK8 ship has sailed and trending in Japan. Adam proposed Tadashi to be his for the rest of their lives, and they can live happily ever after now. Special thanks for the person, who animated them kissing hehe.

All in all, final thoughts, since it's over. To me it was just a “fun to watch” one-time thingy, it’s pretty ridiculous at times, but it lacked the much needed emotional intensity literally everywhere.

The plot is very generic for sports anime, but at the same time somehow all the best things about this "generic" lack the convenience and actually miss that charming, strong emotional affect. When it comes to Adam, I from the beginning knew that it was the classic "bringing him back" plot and was actually excited, since I love those both in Free! and KNB. Here it didn't work for me at all for a reason that Langa has no emotional connection to Adam whatsover or any history with him. And tho I get that they meant that Tadashi aparently lacked the ability to bring him back, but still was a part of it and a person who “started the mechanism”, the needed affect was lost in my opinion. It just wasn’t believable to me, when Langa gave Adam the board, since I do not see why would they both even care. Langa basically just worked as someone who could deliver the message from someone else, thus the needed emotional affect was just lost, despite Adam seeing Tadashi everywhere.

So that fantastic Rin/Haru, Akashi/Kuroko thing was wasted, bc those from the beginning fought for someone very dear to them and that was the reason for their stubborness. Here I don’t even get why Langa would even take part in this and risk his life on some death track, cause like even if you’re an adrenaline junkie, it wasn’t worth it really tbh. Like definitely not this fall, this was just too funny to watch tbh. I was like “lmao what is this? what is this?”. It’s not like I’m taking this show seriously like most of this crazy fandom does, but like it was too damn... dramatic still lol.

Tadashi being the only one cheering for his idiot was the cutest tho xD. This was probably how japanese fandom felt, going through the western fandom tweets lol.

The fact that creators said that they’ve worked on Adam’s character the hardest and that he was the most thought out one is seen, despite all the haters bluh-bluh. The fact that Utusumi said how she knew who his VA from the very beginning and named him and cared for him was also seen, I personally stayed just for them until the end. The kinky drama queen and his puppy bdsm duo lmao. And yeah, those idiots, who think they’re in a bad relationships or smth, kids, cover your ears, they just both enjoy it, yeah, in a kinky way. That’s why Tadashi was so happy, when he said “you’re gonna be my dog for the rest of our lives”.

So haha I win again anyways. They are free, they are happy, that’s what I wanted. Sorry for everyone, who wanted Adam to die and go to jail lolz.

P.S. Adam should’ve ordered this suit sooner in my opinion haha. For reasons. Ah, and the music was so cool during the race.
