He watched a couple of those videos so he knows what hes doing. Mari stands there, phone on a tripod ready. After getting the cue he goes up to her, bows slightly and then picks her up kind of like a kid being picked up and starts walking away.

Mari was pretending to make herself look presentable whilst Yunho just strolls by like that's the most normal thing in the world, taking Mari by the waste and leaving the frame.

Mari was standing in the hall getting ready for the video after putting the phone on a shelf waiting for Yeosang to walk past. After a few seconds he was seen entering the frame and making literal sweeping motions towards Mari. She was seen laughing on the floor 2 seconds later.

It took Mari some time to convince San to do this trend. After Wooyoung got involved he decided why not and came up with an idea how to do it. Wooyoung stood there like a professional camera man and Mari in the middle of the room. San enters the frame but instead of picking up Mari, he makes her pick him up with Woos laugh in the background.

He didn't tell Mari what he had planned. Just told her to stand still and let him do his thing. She was skeptical and scared but said ok in the end. The music started and you saw Wooyoung entering the frame, picking Mari up and then he faked throwing her on the couch in the living room. This scared her so she held on tight onto Woo, making him almost fall as well.

He was the hardest to convince. She had to bribe him with food to do it. After looking at a couple of those videos he was like ok ok i'll do it. Mari stood there waiting for Jongho to do his thing. He walked up to her casually and threw her over his shoulder. After that he turned to the camera and flashed his gummy smile waving cutely and walking off with her.
"You never do that with me!" "Hyung you're not Noona!"

Watching the members run around the dorm like headless chickens was one of the funniest things Heeyoung had seen in a while. The company had given them a week to travel home and enjoy time with their families and now 8 out of 9 members had started packing way too late!
The girl should have known that the probability of the boys starting to pack a few days ahead was zero to none and she was right!
Why she wasn´t packing her own bag? Heeyoung didn´t like to go home!
Her parents lived in Seoul, so if technically she already was home and as far as she knew her parents were currently not even in the country. And staying with her older brother was not an option to her!
That left her as the only member not packing in a hurry. Instead, she was sitting at the kitchen counter with some cut up vegetables to watch the chaos that was Ateez!
“Noona just because you already packed, doesn´t mean that you can´t help us!”
Mingi whined as he rushed from the living room towards his own room.
Oh yeah, none of them knew that she was going to stay back! Heeyoung wasn´t hiding it, it was more that none of them asked if she was going to see her family.
“Ah Mingi-ah, where would be the fun in that huh?” she answered and bit into a piece of sliced up cucumber.
Hongjoong made a face of disgust at the offending food item before hurrying of with his laptop.
Heeyoung could hear the grumble of her fellow Matz member about how she was going to turn into a rabbit, if she kept eating the veggies!
“It wouldn´t hurt if you tried it too every now and then, you know!”
“Never!”
The leader hurried back, having forgotten the charger, which was still lying on the dinner table.
“Hwa, Sannie and Yunho are going to get picked up in an hour. Mingi and Jongho tomorrow morning and Wooyoung is going to visit Yeosangies family before driving to his parents! I won´t go home until all of you are safe inside a company car or from your families so spill my lovely Heeyoungie, when are you getting picked up?”
The girl took another piece of vegetable and watched as Hongjoong pulled another face.
“I´m not getting picked up.” She stated after having gulped down her food.
“So the manager is driving you home?”
The raised eyebrow of her fellow 98-liner told Heeyoung that apparently he still hadn´t caught on.
*Boys!* she thought and rolled her eyes a little.
“I´m not going home Joong-ah. I´m staying here and enjoying my alone time for a bit.”
With those words, the girl got up from her seat and went to clean up her snack bowl.
Hongjoong was frozen to the spot, blinking rapidly at his best friend.
“Come again?”
With a sigh the girl repeated her words.
“I´m staying here. My parents are somewhere in France and I really don´t want to spend my time in a house I’m not welcome in! So I’m not going!”
He could respect that. If Hongjoong were in his fellow rappers position, he too would choose to stay behind in an empty dorm rather than in a big lonely house where she would only be criticized!
For Heeyoung, the topic was over and done with as she walked past the still flabbergasted leader to go to her own room.
For Hongjoong however, the topic was definitely not over! He almost sprinted into his own shared room where Seonghwa was building a new Lego set on the floor! His bag and suit case already neatly placed by his nightstand.
“What´s got you in such frenzy?” The eldest asked, not taking his eyes away from his toy.
“Did you know that Hee-ah isn´t going home?”
Hongjoong picked up his phone from the desk, searching through his contacts.
“No, but I’m not surprised either. She doesn´t even call it home so why would she willingly go there?”
The leader grimaced.
He too should have known about Heeyoungs intention to stay back!
Finding the contact he was searching for, the boy called his mother.
“Hongjoongie, do you need your appa to pick you up already?”
“Eomma, no. I want to ask you something. One of the members is going to stay back in the dorm because their parents are out of country and I-“
“Of course you can bring them! Who is it?”
“Ah, it´s Heeyoung-ah!”
For a moment all he could was his own breathing before the woman on the other end of the line answered cheerfully!
Hongjoongs heart sang at the prospect of his first child being allowed to stay with him.
“Ah thank you eomma! I´ll text appa when we´re ready!”
“No need to thank me my baby. The members are just as much our family as they are yours! I´ll see you two tomorrow!”
Hanging up, the second oldest marched right out of his room into Heeyoung´s.
The girl was spread out on her bed, while watching something on her phone.
“Pack your bags; you are not staying here alone!”
He said, hands on his hips and waiting until the female rapper moved to start packing.
Heeyoung was slowly getting annoyed with the boy.
“I told you, I’m not going to that place!”
“I know you´re not! Because you´re coming with me instead! That is not up for discussion. Eomma already knows you´re coming so get to it! Now!”
Heeyoung tried to argue but seeing as Hongjoong had his, I´m-the-captain-look on she knew it was a lost cause.
The next day, HongYoung was getting picked up in the evening after the rest of the boys had cleared out.
Wooyoung had pressed a chaste kiss to his Noona´s cheek, causing her to grimace and scramble to get away from the affection of the younger before following Yeosang out the door.
The drive was short. Annyang wasn´t far from Seoul, only about a half an hour drive and Heeyoung listened to Hongjoong talking to his father.
It almost gave her whiplash, how fast he turned, from leader to youngest son in the span of 2 seconds!
In the evening, after Hongjoong´s mother had threatened her son with her slipper to hand over his laptop and actually rest for the time of their stay, the two rappers had settled down in Hongjoongs childhood room.
He had insisted on the girl taking the bed and him taking the floor, resulting in an argument which had the Kim parents remember the times when their sons were still children.
Amused by the bickering, they watched as their youngest sons temper flared a little, pulling the captain card when he realized that Heeyoung wouldn´t relent otherwise!
The older woman had to hide a snort as she saw Heeyoung stuck out her tongue at Hongjoong when he turned his back to her and every bit of doubt about a girl and boy sharing the same room flew out of the window.
Heeyoung wasn´t a future daughter in law she had to worry about, more like the sister Hongjoong never got to have…
With the girl tucked under her blanket and Hongjoong under his, the light was dimmed and silence fell over the room.
The girl could hear her leaders breathing even out, indicating that he had already fallen asleep.
She sighed softly as her insomnia made it hard to fall asleep. If she had been at the dorm, Heeyoung would have just gotten up and watched some TV in the living room, but this wasn´t the dorm!
Not wanting to disturb the boys sleep, Heeyoung decided to get up and leave the room altogether. If she was going to stay up all night, she was going to do it on her own condition!
And that´s how she found herself on the little balcony of the Kim Household!
Her phone was playing a soothing tune and gazing into the stars, she enjoyed the calm serenity of the night.
The night was silent. Something Heeyoung wasn´t used to after having lived in the busy city of Seoul practically all her life! The only noise she could hear was the rustling of a bush a little further into the garden.
A little orange kitten was making its way through the garden, past the flowerbeds Hongjoongs mother had grown there and towards the female rapper.
Meowing at her to give the small animal some attention, Heeyoung bent down to pet it as it came closer, only to jump onto her lap and purr the night away.
Surprised by the sudden affection but not unhappy, the girl relented and let the cat nap on her.
She was sure that it wasn´t a stray, as the feline looked healthy and fed so it probably was a neighbors cat that had gone on a little adventure of his own.
Heeyoung let her mind wander, thinking about the day and how warmly her leader’s parents had greeted her and invited her into their home!
Never once in her life, had she seen her own parents show that kind of warmth.
They were never there and the girl and her older brother had been raised by nannies most of the time! And if they were there, they only ever cared about the golden child. And that was not her!
Did she miss it growing up? Yes and no!
You can´t miss something you never got, but Heeyoung did see the way the other parents acted around their children and it made the girl wonder why it was so different for her and her brother.
Why couldn´t her parents act like that?
The soft stroking of her hand, paired with the gentle music still playing, was slowly lulling her into a trance which was only broken by the door being opened from the inside.
It was Sang-mi, Hongjoongs mother, wrapped in a sleeping robe, checking for the source of the music!
“Oh sweetheart, what are you still doing awake? It´s almost 1 in the morning?”
The woman asked, sounding a little worried.
Heeyoung flinched at being addressed so suddenly and the cat on her lap threw the older woman a nasty look as if to say, “Why are you bothering us?”.
Whipping her head around to look at the woman who was obviously asleep not too long ago, Heeyoung bowed as best as she could without disturbing the cat any further.
“Sang-mi-ssi, I’m sorry! Did I wake you? I can stop the music if it´s too loud?”
“Don´t be ridiculous dear and please it´s eomeoni for you!”
Sang-mi sat down in the other chair next to her.
“And now tell me what´s on that beautiful mind of yours. Joong-ah mentioned you have trouble sleeping sometimes, is that it?”
The worry in her tone was still audible and Heeyoung felt bad.
“I´m used to it, please don´t worry about me eomeoni! I was just thinking and enjoying the quiet. That´s hard to do with a dorm filled with boys…”
Heeyoung looked at the cat, scratching behind its ear.
Sang-mi´s eyes fell on the feline as well. She hummed in understanding.
“You know, Hongjoong speaks very highly of you. Always has ever since he wanted you to join him as a trainee! And I think, whatever he saw in you, was only a small fraction of what´s hiding behind all those walls you have built around yourself!”
Not knowing what to say, Heeyoung just looked at the other woman who saw her silence as invitation to continue talking.
“I don´t know why you wanted to stay back in the dorm. I’m guessing it´s not just because your parents aren’t home but I want you to know that, if you want, you can join my son anytime when he visits us. You´ll always have a place here if you need it okay sweetheart?”
Heeyoung could feel herself tearing up. Not enough to outright cry, but enough to have her eyes glaze over.
The softness of Sang-mi offering her home to her, made the girl want to curl into the warmth she radiated!
“Home was never with my parents. Not even when I was still a trainee at Pledis, and for a long time I just thought I didn´t have one. I had a place where I lived but not… a home…”
“And now?”
“Now? The boys are home to me… the dorm is because that´s where the boys are and even when they´re gone, the dorm still feels like it…”
“Home isn´t a place to most people! It´s where your loved ones are!”
The girl could only nod.
It made sense!
The members had been the only thing keeping her upright at times and throughout all the struggles and fear they had gone through before their debut, it had always been 9 makes one team and nothing less!
The rain of thought got cut short as a yawn threatened to overcome Heeyoung.
“I think it´s time for you to go to bed now too. Don´t want to have my boy having a heart attack because you suddenly vanished into thin air.”
With these words Sang-mi got up and went inside, only stopping to turn and say one more thing before vanishing behind the door.
“By the way Heeyoung-ah, this cat you’re holding, hates every one! You’re the first person I know he´s that cuddly with!”
The cat blinked sleepily at Heeyoung and as if he knew that she would be getting up now, it jumped down and trotted back into the dark.
Heeyoung had to gather her thoughts before she too, went inside.
In Hongjoongs room, the leader was peacefully snoring without a care in the world!
The talking with his mother had stirred something inside of her, something that didn´t want to sleep alone in the bed and that´s how the girl found herself kneeling down next to her same aged friend, shaking him ever so slightly awake.
It was like he had a sensor for when he was needed because the boy could probably sleep through an earthquake if he wanted to, but his leader sense made him wake up anytime one of the members needed something!
A little grumpy but none the less awake enough to comprehend he was being talked to, he voiced out a rough, “What?”, while trying to open his eyes.
“Can I sleep with you?”
The request paired with how tiny the girl sounded and looked made him soft and without further ado he lifted the blanket he had been wrapped in, to let her crawl under it.
It was like having a giant clingy teddy bear attached to his front and Hongjoong, skinship hater number 1, wouldn´t have it any other way!

✩ timeline: after the guerrilla era
✩ summary: 2022 kcon was something for bella.
At first, she didn’t make a big deal of the setlist because it was a commitment to perform eight songs in front of hundreds of people. However, she starts to wonder if she’ll not make it through the entire stage because most of the songs are extreme and fast pace back to back.
During practice, Bella tries her best to maintain enough energy. The group will only have a minute to interact with the audience. In other words, there won’t be breaks in between performances. The guys and her call this the ‘Hell Setlist.’
“You good, baby?” Yunho asked the maknae. He gives her a hand because she is lying on the stage.
She was panting, sweating, and tired. But she doesn’t want to give up.
Bella accepts Yunho’s offer and stands back on her feet. “Yes. And I am telling the truth.” She points out. Bella is sometimes stubborn to admit things. It does worry the members if she is okay or not.
Yunho chuckles. “I didn’t ask if you were telling the truth. But are you positive that you can do this?” He gently holds her hand. The tall man can see her ponytail is out of place, and her eye bags are deep from the traveling and less sleep. Above all; she is still smiling and putting in the effort.
With a nod of reassurance, Bella says, “I am confident. I signed up for this, and I knew what to expect. And yes, I was hesitant before doing it.” She knows she has to break out of her stubbornness and be more open. Bella felt Yunho’s hand ruffling her head. “It’s okay to tell the truth. We all were unsure, but we do it for our fans.” He basically told the youngest there was nothing wrong with being afraid.
Hours later, the venue has people cheering for their favorite idols and enjoying the moment.
As soon as Wave begins to play, Bella is relieved to walk around, making sweet gestures to Atinys and dancing here and there. Her face was dripping with sweat, and her makeup might’ve rubbed off, but it didn’t matter. Also, San’s hair dye is coming off.
When singing her part, Wooyoung skips up to her to make a hand heart. She does the other half and smiles lovingly at the camera. Wooyoung pats her back to convey that she is doing a great job. In the middle of the performance, Hongjoong even asked one of the staff members to give her a bottle of water. He could tell through her singing that she couldn’t catch a breath.
The Real was their last song on the setlist, and Bella pretty much used the rest of her stamina that she had left. Even though she faced many challenges on and off stage, she kept going and never stopped.

Roux and her dates
Ryujin:
Roux and Ryujin were talking via SNS, about their tour plans and countries they will be in the future. The two have been to unofficial dates before, but never a formal one at that. Ryujin sent a a flirt message:
“Why don’t you come have dinner with me and then we talk more? 👀”
“Sure babe😉”
With that settled, at a Friday they met up in front of a famous trendy restaurant in Seoul. As the night went by, they got talking about their time together at JYP, their dreams and goals, and their personal life.
"You know, Jinnie, there's something I've been wanting to share with you. Ive been seeing your performances and I really admire your confidence on stage and how effortlessly you command attention. It's truly captivating, as if you cast a spell on them.”
"Wow, thanks babe. That means a lot coming from you, you’re gonna make me blush. Honestly, I've always been in hypnotized by your stage presence! You really evolved, it’s like a whole different girl from the one I met back then.”
"Thanks darling. It's not always easy, but when I'm up there, it's like I'm in my element. And being able to connect with fans through music, it's a feeling like no other. And the guys been helping me build my confidence. But what have you been up to in your rest days??”
Ryujin gives her little charming chuckle and proceeds saying; "In my rest days? Well, you know I like to rest at home, like binge watching some new tv show, listening to music, and cooking! You know is like a therapy for me!”
As Roux smiles, she throws a shot; “You know, next time you rest you can call me to cuddle, right?”
"Yeah, I will, it sounds nice. You know, you continue being fearless. You're not afraid to be you, and that's a rare quality.“
Roux looks into her eyes and says; "Thank you, but it’s not hard when I’m around you, you are captivating.”
Ryujin smiles and reaches to hold Roux hands; "You know, you mean a lot to me..and also,we could be a very hot pair…”
“I know right?..” as she giggles, they both continue enrolling through the night, wondering about what could be their future together…
Yves:
They don’t really know each other, but one day Roux sent a message complimenting Yves a story she posted. Yves replied complimenting her back and they started talking. A few weeks later Yves decided to invite her to a night out.
They first meet up at a trendy bar known for its lively atmosphere and creative cocktails. As they chat over drinks, they discover shared interests in music, fashion, and travel, sparking a sense of excitement for the night ahead.
After a few drinks, they move to a nearby club where they start dancing, they feel free. As they lose themselves in the music, dancing together with uninhibited joy and passion, their laughter blending seamlessly with the rhythm of the crowd.
As the night passes, they take breaks from dancing to share intimate conversations in quieter corners of the club, getting to know each other on a deeper level amidst the vibrant energy of the night.
"Roux, can I be honest with you for a moment?"
Roux smiles and says; "Of course, unnie. What's on your mind?"
After a deep breath she said; "I just want to say that I've really enjoyed getting to know you. There's something about your presence that's so captivating and genuine. I feel like I can be myself around you."
Roux blushes; "Thank you unnie. I feel the same way about you. It's rare to meet someone at first sight who understands you on such a deep level, you know?"
Yves nods; "Yeah, it is rare. But with you, it feels natural. I admire your strength and your passion for life. You have this inner light that shines so brightly, and it's impossible not to be drawn to it."
"Wow, thanks unnie. That means a lot to me. And you, there's a kindness in your eyes that speaks volumes. It's like you see the beauty in everyone and everything around you."
Yves looks away into the crowd before proceeding; "I try my best. But with you, it's easy. There's something about you that brings out the best in people. I feel like I can open up to you in ways I never thought possible."
Roux looks down to Yves hands, looks up where their eyes meet, and gently takes her hands; "I'm glad you feel that way. Even thought we only met personally today, I feel like I’ve known you for a long time."
As Yves squeezes her hands, she said; "Me too. I don't know what the future holds for us, but I do know that I want you to be a part of it. You've captivated me."
Roux leans very close to Yves, before whispering; "Then let's make the most of every moment we have together. Whatever the future may bring." before pulling her back to the dance floor.
As the early hours of the morning approach, they decide to call it a night, their hearts racing with adrenaline and their faces flushed with excitement. With promises to do it all again soon, Roux and Yves part ways, their spirits lifted by the unforgettable memories they've created together on this exhilarating date.
Giselle:
Giselle and Roux met back in 2020, when their schedules overlapped. Since then they kept talking and going out. Roux just called Giselle and asked her to come over.
They start by watching random tv shows, before watching the movie “Carol”. The movie is pretty intense, and made them cry at the end. As it ended they started discussing their favorite scenes, moments and critics of the movie. That lead to an intimate conversation.
“You know Roux, I really connect with you! We share similar struggles, issues, and moments. I feel you and I match.”
“I feel that way too! I guess we both dealt with bad comments from the media..”
“Yes! Talking about that, how are you dealing with that scandal? I mean, it’s bad enough to have people eyeing your personal life, but something so intimate as sexuality must be shit.”
“I mean, I guess I’m fine? Yeah it’s annoying, but that’s nothing really I can do? Dealing with this industry have so many problems, but also have me the ability to share my music, my passion, something so dear to me…and have so many supporters feels nice, you know?”
“Yeah, I know. Feels nice to not feel alone.”
After a moment of quiet, she said:
“I don’t mean to be weird or make you uncomfortable, but is it true?”
“Yeah, it is.”
“Oh, hope you don’t let anything bad get to your head, because you are a really amazing person, intelligent and gorgeous at that.”
“Oh stop you’ll make me blush.”
“You know, I’ve never really thought of myself being with a girl…I guess I never gave myself the time to really think. All of my life I just thought I had to like men, before I even stop to think what I really like..”

Afterward, they explore the various attractions, from the dizzying heights of the Ferris wheel to the exhilarating drops of the Tower of Terror. With each ride, they bond over shared excitement and occasional nervousness, reassuring each other with comforting words and playful nudges.
As they stroll through the park, they indulge in classic carnival treats like cotton candy and funnel cakes, savoring the sweetness of the moment as they exchange stories and inside jokes.
Feeling adventurous, they challenge each other to games of skill and chance, determined to win each other stuffed animals as souvenirs of their unforgettable day.
As the sun sets and the park lights up with colorful displays, they find themselves on the carousel, riding side by side on majestic horses, feeling like carefree children lost in a whirlwind of joy and wonder.
As the night comes to a close, they share a quiet moment on a bench, watching the fireworks paint the sky with bursts of light and color. With hearts full of happiness and memories to last a lifetime, they share a tender kiss, grateful for the magic of their day at the amusement park.

Moon's Dorm Room

[Dorm Room]
Moon used to share a room with Mingi but after moving dorms she has a solo room on the floor with Yeosang and Yunho. Her room is held in dark colors such as black, blue and grey. She has a corner of her room turned into a studio with her desk, multiple instruments and recording equipment. In front of her window there is a seat with some books about dog training, body health and philosophy. On the opposite side of her window, she has her bed, her closet and the dog beds (that are often empty because the dogs sleep in her bed).

Amanda plopped herself starfish style across her bed after finishing a relaxing shower and changing into her pjs. She reached for her phone from her nightstand, only to let out a defeated groan into her pillow when none of the notifications were the one she was hoping for.
She hadn’t heard a single word from Jeonghan since her impulsive confession she’d left him on his voicemail this morning (if that was even what he heard). Even after she left two new awkward voicemails and 3 text messages trying to redeem the damage she made.
Ring Ring Ring
Not sparing a second to check the caller id, she cheerfully answers, “Hannie?”
“Not exactly.” An unfamiliar female voice echoes through her phone.
Surprised by the voice she moved the phone away from her ear to see an unknown number on the screen. “Who is this?” Her cautious voice rang, fearing that another saesang had somehow gotten her number.
“Vivi. I am Hannie’s friend. Well I guess I should say I am one of his members.”
Amanda straightens her posture on her bed as if she was in front of her at this very moment, “Oh! Hi! Um, how did you get my number?”
“I might have gotten it from Jeonghan’s phone.” Vivi murmurs, “Sorry but I wouldn’t have it wasn’t serious.”
Registering the worry in the younger girl's voice, Amanda frowns, “Is everything okay?”
“It’s about Jeonghan.”
“Is he okay? Is he hurt?’
“He’s not hurt. I’m just worried about him.” Vivi attempts to calm her down, “Do you think you can come to our company?”
“Of course.” Amanda didn’t hesitate for a second. Even though she was worried about going to their company when not many people know about their relationships and it risks their relationship getting exposed, if Jeonghan was in trouble she would be there in a heartbeat.
“Thanks! Also, could you bring some food with you, too?”
Amanda awkwardly stood in front of the staff entrance door of the new HYBE building, where Vivi instructed her to wait so she could allow her in. She couldn’t help the
“Amanda!” Amanda's eyes wanders towards the sound, spotting a girl exiting the building, waving energetically at her. Amanda waves back at Vivi though she felt like hers was way more awkward.
As Vivi approaches her, Amanda notices a taller man trailing closely behind her. As they got closer, she realized it was Seventeen’s leader.
She couldn’t help but feel a little intimidated. She had always admired S.Coups as a fan. He is an incredible leader to 12 rambunctious boys but after hearing how Jeonghan talks about him, she couldn’t help but admire him more as being a loyal and true friend.
Suddenly a thought hit her, she wasn't just meeting them as a hoobaenim and fan but as Jeonghan’s potential girlfriend. She had to make an acceptable first impression especially now that she is clear about taking the next step in her relationship with him.
Vivi beams, “It’s nice to finally meet you. I would hug you but social distance and all.”
Amanda smiles at Vivi’s affable aura that was somehow able to ease her jitters, “You too.”
“Thanks to Yuki I feel like I kind of already know you.”
“Who knew we would end up meeting without her help.”
“We should send her a pic of us together so-” Vivi was interrupted by S.Coups clearing his throat. “Ah! Sorry oppa. Amanda, this is our leader S.Coups.”
Amanda gave a polite bow. “Nice to meet you, sunbaenim.”
“Please, no need for the formalities. Just call me S.Coups.” S.Coups kindly assures her. “Thank you for coming here so late.”
“It’s totally fine. It sounded urgent. What exactly is going on?” Amanda asks the leader.
“It’s probably better to show you instead.”
Following the SVT’s oldest and youngest through the building, she kept fidgeting with her mask and pulling her hat further down to cover more of her face to prevent getting recognized.
“You don’t have to worry about being seen.” Seungcheol’s voice broke Amanda’s train of thought, “Us, Jeonghan and a few staff are the only ones here. Well and Woozi, but he probably won’t be coming out of his studio anytime soon.”
“But if you are still worried you can just say you are here to see your new friend, Vivi.” Vivi adds. Feeling assured, Amanda struts a little more confidently through the building, taking in the different features of the building.
“He’s in there.” Vivi gestures to the door where music was booming from. Amanda peeks through the glass door to spot Jeonghan dancing along to the rhythm of music. His body movements were more aggressive than the beat of music would allow and although his body looked drained, his eyes were burning with passion.
“He hasn't come out since early this morning. No break, snacks, nothing.” Vivi tells her.
“You're kidding?” She dumbfoundedly asks as the duo shook their heads. “No wonder he hasn't replied yet.” She mumbles.
S.coups raises an eyebrow, “Sorry?”
“Nothing. Um, so why is he being like this?”
“We’ve been practicing the new choreo for our comeback and Jeonghan has been struggling with it. Our dance director yelled at him. He’s being too hard on himself. He needs a distraction right now and we figured if he’s not going to listen to us or the other members, maybe he will with you.” S.coups explains.
Stunned by his words, she stammers, “M-Me?”
“You do know how much he likes you right? He never shuts up about you.” The leader exposes.
“It’s true.” Vivi chimes in, “I swear Jeonghan oppa has talked more about you in the last couple of months than Yuki has in the past 3 years. I still can’t believe the girl he had been talking nonstop about was you.”
“If you could just try for us, we would be grateful.”
Amanda nods, “But I still don’t know if it will be any help.”
“At least we can say we tried.” The leader gratefully says.
“Oh wait! I brought extra food for you too.” Amanda hands Vivi a plastic container of food from the bag. “I don’t know if you are on a diet or not-”
“Luckily, I am not, so I will enjoy it. Thank you.” Vivi graciously accepts the container.
Amanda glances at S.Coups, “I would have brought you some too if I had known you were here too.”
S.Coups fondly smiles at her thoughtfulness, “Don’t worry she will end up having leftovers for me to eat anyways.”
“Not this time. I will definitely eat all of this.” Vivi proclaims, holding the container closer to her.
S.coups scoffs, “You say that everytime.”
Vivi rolls her eyes, unable to argue back, “Fine. I guess I will give you some.”
“Thanks.” He sarcastically says.
She returns her attention back to Amanda, “I have to ask, Amanda. Why do you like Jeonghan oppa? He’s not exactly the-“
“Ignore her.” The eldest covers her mouth with his hand before she could finish destroying any kind of relationship between Jeonghan and Amanda, “Good luck. Let us know if you need anything.”
Amanda giggles as S.coups drags his younger member away. She sneaks into the dance studio. Jeonghan was so concentrated on the choreography that he didn’t even notice the girl he likes walking in.
She spots the stereo and turns the knob to the off, only for Jeonghan to whirl around and see her. He blinks a couple of times to make sure the exhaustion hadn’t made him start imagining things, “Amanda? What are you doing here?”
“Making sure you take a break.”
After hearing her voice cueing him it was really her, he didn’t waste a second as he darts towards her and envelopes her in a hug, “Did my members call you?”
She nods into the hug, “S. Coups and Vivi.”
“I guess I should thank them later.”
She pulls away and waves the bag, “I brought you some food. Care to spare me a couple of minutes?”
“Let me try one more time and then I will.” He promises.
Though she did believe he would stop like he promised, it wasn’t the answer she wanted. As a pro dancer, Amanda could tell his body wouldn't be able to handle anymore of the intense movements.
She shrugs her shoulders before sitting against the wall, “Fine. Then I’ll just stay and watch until you're ready.”
Jeonghan couldn’t ignore the scheming glint in her eyes and her nonchalant behavior, something he knew all too well. And when she began to pull out the food from the bag, his suspicions were becoming more accurate. “I thought that food was for me?”
Amanda innocently raises her eyebrows, “It will get cold waiting for you and you know I don’t like to waste food. Plus I did drive all the way here in the middle of the night so I deserve some for myself.”
Now that he got a better look at her, he could distinguish that her dyed dirty blonde hair hidden behind her cap was damp, clearly meaning she rushed over here after taking a shower without drying her hair.
A loud growling coming from his stomach, snapped him out of his thoughts. Amanda’s lips twitch at the sound, attempting to contain her laugh.
“What did you bring?” He succumbs. A satisfied smile appears on her face as she hands him some of his favorite foods.
After the two munched on their meal, they continued to rest in the dance practice room. Jeonghan's head gently laid on her lap as she mindlessly twirls strands of his light chocolate colored hair that had been dangling across her lap.
He plays around with the tips of her fingers of her free hand as he decides to ask the burning question that had been on his mind, “Why haven’t you asked me about it yet?”
“I figured you’ll tell me when you want to.”
There were a few seconds of lull before he murmurs, “I don’t want to let them down. They have been waiting for me to figure this out.”
“Hannie.” She softly gazes down into his eyes, “You are doing great and your members know that. All they want you in the best shape to perform and you can’t be in the best shape if you overwork yourself. So don’t make them worry….or me.”
Jeonghan sat up, placing an affectionate kiss on the back of her hand, “Thank you for coming and I’m sorry for making you worry.” A teasing grin emerges on his lips as whispers, “But then again, it did get you to come see me. Maybe I should make you worry more often.”
“Don’t even think about it.” Amanda lightly pushes his head back with her fingers before he could connect his lips with her, triggering the boy to sulk. “Since you’re done eating, I’ll clean this up while you go ahead and shower because no offense but you stink.” She dramatically waves her hand over her nose.
Now it was his turn to have a menacing gleam in his eyes, “Oh really?”
Wary by his expression, Amanda begins to scoot away from him, but his arm swiftly wraps around her waist and tugs her into him as he devours her face with kisses. She giggles in between while attempting to shove him away. He stops, “Be careful what you say next time.”
“I’ll think about it.” She teases.
He lets out an enamored laugh as he places one last little peck on her temple, “I’ll quickly wash up and I’ll drive you back to your dorm.”
She hums in response with a smile before he heads out the door with his things. Once he was finally out, she erupts into a little fit of giggles, “Cute.”
As she tidies up, she remembers that she has to talk to him about taking the next step in their relationship. But is now really the best time to talk about it? Though it outwardly seemed that his stress has lessened, she could tell he was still worried about his performance. But she needs to talk to him about it before he hears whatever she left on that voicemail.
The sound of the dance studio door opening, diverted her train of thought as she saw Jeonghan enter.
“If you are ready-” Her sentence was interrupted by him swallowing her up into a firm, warm embrace, nuzzling his head into her neck. Though slightly confused by his sudden action, she didn’t hesitate to wrap her arms, “What happened?”
“Nothing. I just wanted to hug you.” He mumbles into her neck.
“Okay,” She smiles as begins to stroke his hair. Her thoughts wander if now is the best time to bring it up, “Hannie.”
“Hmm?”
“I want to make things official between us.” She mustered up the courage to finally ask only for it to come out quieter than she anticipated.
He pulls away to stare at her, “What was that?”
“Nothing.” She sadly mutters with her courage depleting away.
He frowns as he tilts his head, “You sure?”
“No, actually. Hannie, I wanted to tell you that I am ready to make things official between us.” She confidently declares before flusterly re, “I-I mean, if of course you want-”
“Oh, I want to.” He clearly emphasizes as he cheekily grins, “So it’s okay to officially call you my girlfriend?”
She coyly nods, “And it’s okay to officially call you my boyfriend?”
“I would be honored.”
“Oh, I accidentally called you earlier today and left a voicemail. It basically said what I just said so you can just delete it-”
“Oh? You mean this one?” He pulls out his phone.
“I like Jeonghan….I really like him. I guess being away fro-”
Mortified, she exclaims, “You already heard it?”
“And saved it as my ringtone for you.” He amusedly adds with a devilish smirk that Amanda wanted to wholeheartedly wipe off his face.
“Give me that!” She whines as she tries to pry his phone out of his hand but ultimately failing as his extra four inches of height and long arm made it almost impossible for her to reach it. All while the voicemail resonates throughout the dance studio and he relishes the moment.
Eventually she gives up and pouts,“I want to revoke what I said and not date you anymore.”
“Sorry, sweetie but it’s too late to go back now.”

Later Jeonghan enters his dorm room after dropping Amanda off, to be greeted by his fellow 95er laying on the couch, watching tv and eating as if it was his own dorm, “Welcome back.”
“In case you have forgotten, your dorm is down the hall.” He replies as takes a seat next to him.
“Thank you so much for reminding me.” S.Coups dryly says, making Jeonghan grin, “I came to make sure you actually came home. Which you have, meaning calling Amanda was the right decision.”
“I can’t thank you enough for that. Since Amanda is now my girlfriend.” Jeonghan smugly announces with a joyful smile.
S.Coups pats his back, “Congratulations!”
“Thank you.” Jeonghan glanced at the food in S.coups hand, “Did you get that food from our fridge? Because you are going to have to pay us back for it.”
“No, this is food from your girlfriend. She was kind enough to bring food for Vivi and I.”
Jeonghan smiles, “That definitely sounds like her.”
“I like her. She’s a sweet girl, so don’t ruin it.” His leader warns him.
“Promise.” Jeonghan earnestly swears.

It´s been a week since Heeyoung had stayed at the leader’s childhood home and while the girl has had doubts in the beginning, she couldn´t say that going there was something she came to regret!
The rest of the boys, minus Seonghwa who had been happy for her, were a little pouty upon finding out that their Noona had chosen the captain over them but quickly came around when they saw the cloud of guilt hovering over the girl.
Hongjoong threatening them with his room might also have been part in it but Heeyoung didn´t need to know that!
Yunho however, was a little harder to sway and he stayed pouty for a few more days.
Wanting to know why she hadn´t told him that she had planned to stay alone. He would have taken her to Gwangju without question!
After the week was over and the members had gone back to the dorm, preparations for their upcoming mini album had started right away!
The members were back inside the recording booth, rehearsing choreography, getting fitted into their future stage out fits for Wave and filming various content for Atinys.
Sweaty and slightly out of breath, Heeyoung took a sip out of her water bottle before squatting on the ground, trying to get some air back into her lungs.
Next to her, Yeosang was trying to avoid Sans kisses. Almost falling over his Noona in the process of getting away!
Screeching Wooyoung came up behind the girl to wrap his arms around her!
“Aish Woo-ah, stop that! You´re sweaty!” she pleaded but made no move to shrug the boy off.
Wooyoung gasped dramatically.
“I. do. NOT! How dare you say that?”
The words had barely left his mouth when Heeyoung felt a drop of said sweat fall onto her exposed shoulder.
Grimacing at the younger, Heeyoung rolled her eyes, whipping away the offending fluid with the boy’s shirt.
The door to the practice room opened and inside came the manager, followed by someone who made Heeyoung freeze in Wooyoung arms!
The dancer tensed at the sudden stiffness of his small Noona and he looked over to the door he had ignored up until now.
“Heeyoung-ah, you have some visitors. Could you follow us to the conference room for a moment?” The manager asked gently, giving the girl a friendly smile.
At this point, the rest of the members had also noticed the newcomer.
Just like Heeyoung, the two other thirds of Matz grew tense alongside Yunho.
They were the only members who were able to recognize the visitors as for who they were, but they bowed polity none the less!
Not being able to utter a single word, the girl removed her younger friend from her back. Wooyoung easily complied but didn´t step away from her.
As it became clear that Heeyoung had absolutely no intention of moving towards them, the woman standing next to the manager raised a perfectly plugged eyebrow at her. The man next to her seemed just as unimpressed.
“Stop staring like that Heeyoung-ah, at makes you look incredibly stupid! We don´t have all day so stop dawdling around and get moving! And where are your manners?” Her voice was harsh as she snapped at the girl still in shock.
The switch from shock to no emotion was instantaneous!
Heeyoung felt numb as she dropped into a deep bow. Deeper than any of the members had ever seen her bow to anyone!
Her posture was suddenly immaculate! Back straight and head held high, she came up from her bow only to very clearly address the impatient looking woman.
“I apologize, eomeonim. I will be the joining you in just a moment to and-“
“Daughter I don´t have all day! Just get moving so we don’t have to stay in this….” Her mother looked around the room in disgust before continuing.
“…company, any longer!”
Heeyoung could almost feel the burning gaze of her members on her but she couldn´t look at them. Or more like she wasn´t allowed to look at them!
“Of course eomeonim!”
It was enough for her mother and father to turn on their heels and exit the room again.
As soon as they were out of ear shot, chaos erupted between the boys.
Seonghwa made his way to the shell of the girl he loved and cherished like a sister but Heeyoung sidestepped him with a sudden grace he wasn´t used to. None of them were!
It was like the girl had been exchanged with an entirely different person! In a sense it was true…
The Heeyoung the boys were seeing now was not a side any of them knew as none of them had witnessed it before.
Ignoring them, the female member hurried after the manager and the people she had to call her parents to the closest conference room.
Her mother had placed her designer hand bag on the table in front of her. Sitting down in one of the chairs her perfectly manicured fingers were clasped together and the subtle make up on her face made her look like an angel!
The fact that Heeyoung would rather give her horns and a devils tail was something she kept to herself!
Her father had sat down next to his wife, glaring at something behind his daughter.
Unbeknownst to her, Yunho and Hongjoong had come after her.
The two boys were hesitant about leaving the girl alone with her parents!
“Sit down daughter.”
It was an order and Heeyoung knew it.
Without a word, the boys stepped in too but refrained from sitting down at the conference table but still in close proximity so they could step in if needed.
This was promising to get ugly and all 3 of them knew it!

……❪ hongjoong was the first person to really open his arms and welcome olivia. he was the most open-minded when the ceo talked about her being in ateez, and actually encouraged the idea to other members. he helps her most often with her improvements, her vocals, her raps when she has them. things she is amazing at, he helps to make them brilliant. she would often say that without hongjoong she probably would have given up her dream and flew back to michigan to study psychology and literature. hongjoong saw what ivy did in ioi, and he ran with it. he saw the potential in her and wanted her to do great things, even if she wasn't in ateez. he helped her rebrand her name. she went from jisoo of ioi, with cute concepts and higher pitched vocals. to being ivy of ateez with stronger concepts and lower range vocals. ❫
……❪ ivy and hongjoong have a special bond, they kind of take care of each other. she makes sure he gets the rest and nutrients that he needs, and he makes sure she stays healthy mentally. ivy said hongjoong was her dad when she needed a dad. and that true, he puts his foot down when he needs to and everything he does is with love and appreciation. to hongjoong, ivy is kind of like the sunshine on a rainy day. they can be goofy, serious, and emotional together all in one day. ivy said she wasn't sure why when she first met him, but she felt some sort of connection with hongjoong that she only felt with her siblings and her dad, she said it was like they were family before they knew anything about each other. this is also shown by how overly protective he is over her, he just constantly wants her to be safe. ❫
……❪ hong likes to mess around with ivy from time to time. if she is doing something, just minding her business, he'll go 'yah! what're you doing?' and she'll wonder what she's doing wrong before she sees him laugh. often times they will play tackle, and he always lets ivy win. they will have fake arguments, that can and probably will turn into real ones, so never ask if it's real cause it might cause it to be. hj is also really supportive of every decision ivy makes. if she decided one day that she needs to leave ateez and fins herself, he would be absolutely heartbroken, and obviously he would want to talk about it. but whatever her final decision is, he's going to support it. ❫

……❪ ivy and seonghwa's bond is fairly emotional? seonghwa was there for ivy in her darkest times, she said she probably opens up to him the most whenever she's in a hard situation. in the beginning seonghwa was welcoming, she said she believed he supported her being in ateez 100% because of how welcoming he was. which, let's be clear, seonghwa was iffy about the idea. and even when she fully joined the group and moved in, he was still a little on the edge. he supported the idea maybe 78% after a few days. but he never showed in doubt because, one he felt that hongjoong saw something in her that no one else did, and two he didn't want to hurt her feelings when she was already going through some weird circumstances. ❫
……❪ the two of them are very open with one another. they have this thing where they do 'check-ups' on each other every few weeks or whenever they feel like something is wrong. seonghwa does the most because he's always worried about her. he probably spoils her the MOST out of all the members. anything she wants, she gets, and seonghwa makes sure of it. she is pretty much his baby. they are constantly together in holding hands, hugging, or anything really. wooyoung complains that ivy always gets her way with seonghwa, but how could he say no to her?! ❫
……❪ they're actually really goofy with each other. they could all be talking about something and ivy will just straight up jump on him. he will randomly tickle her in the middle of fan meets. like they're just a really cute duo. however, like all members, he is so protective with her. he's one of the members that will give her his jacket/blazer if there are no blankets around to cover her legs when she's in skirts. he's the one to make sure she eating well, to make sure she feels safe. and he's doing a darn good job at that, ivy even told fans that seonghwa feels like home. he's warm, comforting, safe, you just want to be around him when you've had a long day. ❫

……❪ in the beginning, yunho was also a little iffy on ivy joining. but he was really excited to know her nonetheless. he liked that he was meeting someone as popular as ivy, someone that has the idol experience. they kind of grew on each other really quickly, and soon became like best friends. he would defend her in every argument that wooyoung would have with her because he wanted her to know that she was wanted in ateez. it was like the two of them clicked, they were meeting each other one day, and then the next they were running around amok. ivy even says yunho is one of her biggest supporters. ❫
……❪ their emotional bond isn't as strong as seonghwa and ivy's but it's still there. they are, again, very supportive of each other. they will talk about things that she might feel awkward talking to the others about because yunho is just really easy to talk to. she says that yunho is the guy that wouldn't tell anything but your darkest secrets to. and she means that, she trusts him with her whole life. and yunho trusts her too, having that she's really good at advice, he will go to her when he needs to. it a kind of relationship where they're still learning a lot of small things about each other, but they could tell you each others trauma. because yunho knows how ivy can get fairly scared or anxious in certain situations, he's always there to help. if someone's making her uncomfortable he would 100% go to jail for her. ❫
……❪ one of the goofiest relationships everrrrr. if ivy isn't climbing on yunho like he's a tree, she's probably already attached to his back. and ivy is also constantly thrown over yunho's shoulder. they jump around and pick on each other a lot. often times if they are at fanmeets, or doing something where they have to just stand there, yunho will let her mess with his rings, bracelets, jacket, whatever it is because he knows she can't stand still for shit. there was one time where she didn't have anyones jewelry to mess with, so she literally just jumped on his back. so in order to stop him from falling and killing them both, he always has some type of jewelry for her to play with. ❫

……❪ yeosang and ivy are two very shy people, especially around new people. so when they first met they literally stood there and waved at each other, that was their greeting. it actually took the longest for them to get close out of everyone else, but somehow they are two of the closest members. the reason it took so long was because of her feud with wooyoung, and having that woo and yeo are best friends it made it hard for them to bond over anything. but once they did start talking, it was like an instant connection. they're the same zodiac sign, their birthdays are five days apart, their favorite food is chicken, they enjoy some of the same activities, and the list could go on really. this has made them become really really close and ivy would say that yeosang is one of her closest friends, and yeosang was originally her twin, so now they're called OG twins. ❫
……❪ emotions are a little tricky with yeosang, he doesn't really seem like the guy to open up very easily, even to wooyoung. ivy noticed this in the beginning and new not to bombard him with emotional situations like she would with seonghwa, but she's actually learned that yeosang is a great listener, and is willing to help where he can. the two of them have had difficult pasts, especially when it came to deciding to be idols. it's an interesting thing to look at, seeing as ivy is so open about her history and trauma, and how yeosang isn't really. but other than that they are fairly similar to each other, they have the same attitude, they are very un-ironically hilarious, they're a great duo. and like all the other members, he's pretty protective. nowhere near as protective as hongjoong or san persé but still very protective ❫
……❪ they are so funny, they constantly clown the other members, and each other. don't think ivy is ever letting yeosang live that sexy dance down during quarantine. and yeosang is never letting ivy live that falling incident down either. they got some shit on each other in honestly, a lot of inside jokes that they will make specifically just to confuse other people. they're evil. they also do a lot of the same faces, like when a a member does something weird/gross, they make the same disgusted face. they are practically the same person. ❫
san !

……❪ san was actually really excited to have ivy be a member. well. not at first, but after he warmed up to it, he was practically jumping up and down. he found the idea really interesting, and granted he was on the fence about it for a while, he was happy with her final decision. it's easy to get along with ivy, in his words, and he finds her to be really gentle and sweet. ivy says san is her number one hypeman, he is her biggest fan really. and san says ivy is kind of like his as well. since day on, san was very helpful towards ivy. he helped her move into her room, helped her around the dorm, even helped her with school work. ❫
……❪ san knows a lot about ivy, he knows all these traumatic aspects of her life that made her the woman she is. she's been through a lot, and it explains some of her habits and traits, which is why san is listed as one of the most protective of her. he makes sure she is comfortable in everything she wear, he will fix her skirts for her, keep her from suspicious male idols and staff. he refuses to let anyone disrespect or belittle ivy, and he certainly will not have it with misogynistic comments. so overall, it's safe to say she feels protected and safe around san. ❫
……❪ they like to mess around with each other. they are also very affectionate with each other, they hug and cuddle a lot. they make jokes with each other and laughing for hours, annoying everyone else around them. san is one of those people that makes ivy laugh the hardest, even if he doesn't mean to. ivy often embarrassed san, she says a little bit of bullying humble someone - this is 100% a joke by the way, don't bully people - she claims that san is too cocky sometimes and needs to tone it down for atiny's sake, so she puts him in his place, with love of course. and laughter. ❫

……❪ mingi was overly thrilled to hear olivia joined the company, and was extremely shocked when their ceo explained that she would be joining ateez. he didn't have much against the idea, what he worried about was how people would treat her rather than the whole group. he still worries about what people say about her. he wishes he could stop every negative comment thrown towards her, and that just something ivy loves. mingi is one of the most heartfelt people she has ever met, and that was made obvious since day one. they got along really well really fast. he really made the space comfortable for her, which is something she appreciates as an introvert surrounded by four other extroverts. her first thought when she saw him was that he was really cute, he reminded her a lot of a crush she had at school during her ioi days. his first thought when he met her was how pretty she was, he said that he remembers what she was wearing that day ❫
……❪ mingi is kind of known to be very passionate person, which ivy loves because she is too. together they have deep talks until later at night, they talk about their feeling - unless they wanna make things difficult for each other and for some godforsaken reason - and even though she trusted mingi, she took her time talking about her past with him. she didn't want to scare him away or trauma dump on someone she cared for so dearly. when he found out she felt this way, he nearly cried. her whole life she struggled talking about her own past because no one listened to her, but mingi promise he would ALWAYS listen to her, in every situation possible. he also made it a goal to protect her from negativity when he can. she's always told where mingi will be so if she needs him for any reason, she knows where to find him. she's protected in big crows, and around people she's uncomfortable around. he also makes sure that the clothing the stylists give her are comfortable for her, and if they aren't he styles her himself. he knows she doesn't like crying in public, so when it happens his chest is her pillow. ❫
……❪ such a fun and loving duo. like with yunho, she's always on his back or just on him in someway. sometimes he will carry her like a baby, she will sit on his lap, lay on him, he's practically her bed at this point. when they nap, she doesn't lay on a bed, she lays on him. they're also really funny and flirty with each other. ivy will always blow him a kiss or kiss his cheek, and mingi will tell her how beautiful she is and give her forehead kisses. overall, it's clear to see they cherish physical touch. but mingi can also be big on gift giving. anytime he is out he buys her a snack or something that reminds him of her. she's also huge on quality time, so she enjoys just spending time with mingi, no matter what it is that they're doing. ❫

……❪ they hated each other. like really badly. at first it honestly wasn't horrible, wooyoung was just concerned about how the group will end up with ivy in the group. but once she confirmed that she was joining, things just got worse. they would bicker and argue almost everyday, hongjoong has had to seperate them a few times, often sending ivy off with yunho and mingi and sending wooyoung with yeosang and san. things didn't really get better until late 2018 - early 2019, and even then they still had a lot to learn. ivy says they got closest during covid because they were trapped together so it made sense. wooyoung says during their pre-debut and debut it was the worst, and then it slowly got better after debut, and then their relationship really spiked in late 2019 to 2020 ❫
……❪ even when they didn't like each other, they still obviously cared for each other, having that they were in the same group. the dynamic was odd but it never had to make sense in the first place. wooyoung says he regrets so many things he has said to ivy and that she never deserved that. they both beat themselves up a lot over their past together, and now they're really protective over each other. they know how the other handles mean words and hatred, so they do everything in their to make sure they're not greatly affected by it. they want to make up for the pain they caused each other, so they now know the other will always be there for each other. ❫
……❪ back then, teasing would've started an argument with these two, but now that's all they do. anytime wooyoung does aegyo she goes 'aish, why are you like this' and cringes. anytime she does something sexy, because it's unusual for her to be overly sexy, he teases her for it 'olivia! who taught you those things!' and she stares at him like 'you bitch the fuck?' they are also very touchy with each other, they giggle together and are constantly hugging or linking arms. it was actually ivy who started the whole 'wooyoung is kirby' thing. she posted a picture of kirby on his birthday and went 'ha, it's you. happy birthday kirby' and it's just been a thing every since because people can't unsee it. ❫

……❪ jongho was fairly open to the idea of having ivy in the group, he didn't hate it nor love it. he new that it was going to happen anyway, he didn't see kq letting ivy saying no. so he learned to just deal with it. what he didn't expect was how ivy would act around him. jongho has said that all the members has someone they felt close with or had a special connection with, and he didn't really have that until ivy came around. she always made sure jongho was involved with everyone, and encouraged him to communicate with the others more. in a time he was supposed to welcome ivy, ivy welcomed him... ❫
……❪ they are really close, and even though jongho kind of shelters his emotions, ivy somehow always lets a little bit loose sometimes. and jongho i always willing to listen to her. jongho will never really show it off as much as the others, but he's really protective of her. she calls him her bodyguard because he will always walk in close distance to her around big crowds. she giggles every time he pushes her behind him and he sizes the crowd up, she doesn't even think he realizes that he does it. ❫
……❪ the reason they are called the twins is because one, they are closest in age, and two because they always feel the same emotion at the same time. no one knows how or why, but it's always been a thing. the rest of the group separates them from each other when they're sick to try and prevent it, but it hardly ever works. jongho often teases her, but in reality, he has the biggest soft spot for her. she can punch and bully him as much as she wants and he won't do a goddamn thing. but god forbid mingi accidentally smacks him. he really loves ivy, so even tho he won't willing receive affection from the others, even though it's believed he secretly loves it, he will allow ivy to hug him, hold his hand, and sometimes he will give her a kiss on the cheek. ❫

✩ summary: bella and ateez meet for the very first time.
A petite and delicate seventeen-year-old trainee dressed in cozy clothing strides her legs to a place she calls her “Second Home.”
Every day, Bella would spend most of her afternoons and nights in the KQ Entertainment building. Plus, she does her schoolwork and studies in the practice room to manage time and her rest. At some point in life, Bella’s family was concerned about her choosing this pathway. Despite admitting the challenges to her loved ones and the hardships of becoming an idol, Bella kept going. She doesn’t know how long it’ll take or where she’ll end up, but she hopes for the best.
KQ Entertainment is a peculiar place, according to Bella. It originally was a marketing business that turned into a record label. They successfully accepted plentiful artists who have been in the industry for years. Not to mention, KQ recruited eight boys and created their first group. Now, they are rising stars.
ATEEZ has been getting the world’s attention like magic sparked into people’s lives.
Unfortunately, Bella wasn’t as close to the group. She had seen their faces and their stellar talent but never knew them personally. However, it’s all going to change. Two months after ATEEZ’s debut, the group will be welcoming someone.
Bella attended a meeting with KQ’s big boss and had a long discussion that would impact the company and the K-pop industry. The boss allowed her to debut with ATEEZ. Of course, Bella was baffled for a lot of reasons. In other words, she wasn’t sure if it was safe. Having only one girl is going to raise eyebrows for many. However, to Bella’s surprise, from what the boss told her, all eight agreed to have her be part of ATEEZ.
So, today, she’ll be seeing the guys.
Once she says hello and bowing to the workers, Bella can feel her nerves running wild. Before arriving, the teenager keeps questioning if they will like her or think she is awkward and strange. Bella has to eventually develop communication skills because it’s a tough world to survive. The girl enters the elevator to take deep breaths and relax.
Good thing she is a formal person. It’s not that Bella finds herself to be dull. She was raised in a household with manners and being immaculate. Most importantly, she doesn’t want to make a fool of herself.
As Bella exits the elevator, she heads to the practice room. “Hm. Maybe I’m too early.” The girl figured because she noticed the darkness from the outside. Her hand grabs the knob to open the door. She switched on the lights to have the room bright as day. Instantly, eight handsome, cute, and beautifully bared-faced guys in warm outfits yell at the top of their lungs.
“WELCOME TO ATEEZ BELLA!”
Lost for words, the girl has her eyes widened owlishly and mouth gaping. The guys couldn’t contain their laughter at her adorably shocked reaction. Bella can see they all have party hats on, decorations layered in the room, and a snack table with a delicious cake.
“Hyung, I think we broke her,” Wooyoung whispered to Hongjoong.
“Ouch!”
The captain smacks the boy, who is pouting like a hurt child.
Hongjoong clears his throat and goes up to Bella. “Sorry that we scared you. We didn’t know a better way to make a surprise.” He apologizes so politely. Bella shakes her head. “N-No! You didn’t! I thought it was going to be simple and formal.” Her expectations are the complete opposite.
The guys glanced at each other and started chuckling. It takes them back to when everyone got together, one by one. Most of them had friendly attitudes, but they soon learned they weren’t normal. In a good way, to not be mistaken.
San comes forward with a big, bright smile and wraps an arm around her shoulders. “We thought it would be too lame to do the typical greetings. So, why not throw a party? Also, it’s okay to drop the formalities because we’re family here.” The young man with cute, deep dimples tries to convince Bella that she doesn’t need to shy away from her true colors.
Bella looks at their sweet smiles. The atmosphere has become fuzzy and warm. She is also feeling a bit emotional. Bella breathed, “Okay, I’ll try to be myself.” She said. All of them cheered. Soon enough, she and the guys form a circle on the floor to talk about themselves, like an ice-breaker.
“So, what is your position in ATEEZ, Bella?” Yeosang asked the girl.
Not just him, but the rest are curious to know. Bella responded, “Our boss put me as lead vocalist and maknae. I’ve been singing since I was very little and I am thankful that my appa introduced me to K-pop.” She tells them a piece of her background.
“Ooo~ vocal buddies~” Wooyoung playfully nudges Jongho. The now second youngest shyly smiles. Bella and the others laugh at him merrily.
“Wait, maknae? How old are you?” San was so straightforward that it kind of surprised the members. Though Bella didn’t mind answering. “I’m 17.”
At once, they gasped at their new maknae. She is a baby! Their baby!
When getting done with the introductions, Bella can see that everyone has a unique personality. But overall, they are super kind and caring. She witnessed them helping each other give out food because she and all of them were starving. Bella predicts she’ll have the time of her life in ATEEZ.
“Oh! Bella, look what we got for you!” Yunho exclaimed happily.
He and Mingi pulled her arms to drag her to the snack table. They showed her a cutely baked cake of My Melody. “For me?” Bella questions the two.
Mingi nods earnestly. “Yep! We actually made it, and if it’s not good, then it’s okay to get upset.” He is so blunt that Bella starts laughing. Her laugh is so mellifluous that the guys thought an angel from heaven graced their ears.
She shakes her head. “I’m sure it’s tasty! Thank you so much!” The new member of ATEEZ sincerely appreciates the whole lovely celebration.

Backstory:
Born in Nice, France to French mother and a Korean father, Marie grew up in a multicultural household, she was exposed to a variety of languages, cuisines, and traditions from a young age. Despite her diverse background, Marie Jeane always felt a strong connection to her Korean heritage, thanks to her father's influence.
From a young age, Marie Jeane displayed a passion for music and dance. She started taking tap dancing and hip-hop dance classes at the age of five, honing her skills and developing a deep love for performance. As she grew older, she discovered K-pop and instantly fell in love with its vibrant music and captivating choreography.
In her early teenage years, when she was 12, her parents got a divorced, in which she had to decide to stay in Nice or move to Daegu, where her dads from. With the intuition to become an artist, she moved with her dad. The same year, at her school talents show, she caught the attention of talent scouts during a dance competition in Seoul. Impressed by her skill and unique background, she was offered the opportunity to join JYP. After 3 years training at JYP, as soon as her contract ended, she decided not to renew. Lost, without knowing where to go, she got an opportunity to join KQ.
At first they taught of debuting her as a soloist, but seeing her bond with the other ATEEZ members, she was a last minute addition. Not only they were a new talent group, it was the first time they debuted a boy group with a female member.
Embracing her identity as a French Korean, Roux quickly became a beloved member of ATEEZ, captivating fans around the world with her powerful raps, mesmerizing dance moves, and charming personality. With her multicultural background and unwavering passion for music, she continues to shine as a prominent member of the K-pop industry, inspiring fans to embrace their own identities and pursue their dreams.
