scenario: ateez are on a variety show when one of the hosts claims that ivy only got into the group for her looks

hongjoong

he's furious. ivy has just as much talent, if not more, than everyone else in the room

but he knows he can't show it, being the leader of the group.

ivy sits there awkwardly, fiddling with her thumbs.

hongjoong is the one to shake his head and speak up

"no no, ivy is very talented." he would insist with a smile

"it was actually ivy that wrote all her own music"

"ivy is a great songwriter"

the rest of the interview he is constantly praising ivy

seonghwa

majorly pissed off

he's the one to comfort ivy

if she had to do or say something he was telling her how good she did

"go ivy go ivy!"

he would rub her back, give her head pat.

he's making sure she's okay, putting his anger aside.

however he will give a very scary glare at the hosts.

"ivy is our talented queen!"

he will forever refuse to go back to that show.

yunho

yunho's scary when he's mad.

he clenches his fist and gives the hosts a disgusted look.

he's looking over at ivy to make sure she's okay.

he's probably not going to talk the rest of the time.

after the filming is over he's running over to ivy

he would probably steer her clear of any of the shows staff

"you're very talented ivy"

"don't listen to a man that does nothing but sit there and talk shit all day"

he's disgusted by the comment, and he makes it very visible

he sees ivy's smile drop and he feels like he's going to lose it

he shakes his head and goes "that's not true"

it's so annoying to him how women as talented ivy get so belittled

"ivy, you know how talented you are right?"

he's not having it

"yeosang, can you dance to deja vu for us?" and he would respond with "oh, ivy can" and a smile

will fail on purpose so ivy can show off her talent

he's enraged.

he will immediately look at them like they're idiots

he will only show a smile to ivy in that moment

supporting her with everything she is told to do, singing, dancing, a stupid challenge that has nothing to do with her talents, he's her number on supporter.

he straight up goes "why are you always wrong about things?"

and the show will pull it off as a joke, but mingi is not joking

how are people going to disrespect their own guests???

the editors are sturggling

and lowkey so are their managers, but they secretly love them standing up for her.

anytime wooyoung is invited to do anything, he grabs ivy's hand to join her.

if he's asked to show of a dance move, they both do it. singing? it's a duet.

wooyoung will single handedly end this hosts pathetic career with a snap of a finger.

ivy enjoyed finding new ways to express herself, hair dyeing, tattoos, clothing, anything and everything. ever since she was born she had been getting piercings, but strictly on her ears only. this is because she never really wanted anything else, not to mention her mom was completely against it. but for the past two years, there's one piercing she's just been craving.

"you want your belly button pierced?" hongjoong raised his eyebrows, not shocked by her request, more of confused. usually when the youngest member wants something, she never shuts up about it. yet she's sitting here begging her leader for a piercing that she's never shown any interest in until just now. "since when?"

"for like two years" she smiled and sat on the counter as seonghwa, mingi, and wooyoung made everyone dinner. usually the oldest member would scold her for having her butt on the counter, but she was in a spot that wouldn't have any food on it, so he gave up.

"has she told you about this?" hongjoong asked mingi as he stood there stirring something, the leader was in too much confusion to worry about food at the moment.

"yeah," the rapper shrugs, "she always points them out whenever she sees them"

seonghwa and wooyoung look at mingi confused now, she never mentioned that to them. has she?

"okay, not fair, he picks up on everything." wooyoung pouts and waves a knife around, earning a look from hongjoong.

"put that down before you hurt someone"

"hong, please" she begged, putting her leader attention back on her. hongjoong sighs and walks closer to her, "you know it's not up to me, ji"

the captain walks out of the kitchen, grabbing his water and tapping on ivy's knee as he leaves. the girl grumbles and slouched her shoulders. she knows if she asks their manager he would have to go to the higher-ups who will have to review the contract and consult with the ceo. asking permission for things like visible tattoos and piercings can be a week long process, a very brutal process.

"you have to ask the managers, angel" mingi chuckles and kisses her head as he reaches for plates in one of the cupboards. the girl huffs, going through the hassle of it all is just ridiculous. such a long process for something so simple.

"just get it" wooyoung shrugs and throws veggies into a pan. mingi and ivy look at him like he was crazy. seonghwa rolled his eyes and carried on, he figured woo would speak up about it.

"if you still want me out of the group just tell me" she joked with a pout and crossed arms. the older snickered and rolled his eyes at her, "they won't kick you out for a piercing, they know better than to do that."

seonghwa felt like he had to speak up now "yah," he said, pointing his chopsticks at the younger "don't encourage bad behavior!"

mingi looks back over at his girlfriend, seeing she's really thinking about it. her gaze meets his, asking him what to do with just a simple look. his shrug and head tilt isn't enough, "it's up to you, your body." seonghwa threw his hands up in the air, giving up and returning to cooking.

"you think it'd look good?" she asked both the boys. wooyoung eagerly nodded.

"obviously" mingi scoffed.

"oppa~" ivy called out to seonghwa, teasing him as he pretends like they aren't there. "keep me out of this, olivia"

ivy barges into wooyoungs room the next day, laying down on his bed as her plays video games, "you're going with me to get my piercing on tuesday" she stated nonchalantly. wooyoung did a little happy dance before high-fiving the girl who giggled with him like a couple of teenagers at a slumber party.

tuesday came up and the two somehow snuck out of the dorm without any questions, they told them they were going shopping and everyone nodded, surprisingly not asking for anything while they're out. and because they wanted to keep it that way, they booked it out of the dorms.

"nervous?" wooyoung smiled at the girl who was laying down on the reclined seat, the piercer had to leave the room real quick to get something.

"a little, will you hold my hand" she giggled nervously, holding her hand out. the older smiles back and puts his hand in hers "i always do" he says as the piercer walks into the room with everything she needs. she smiles at the two and sets everything up on the table, making sure to talk ivy out of her nerves.

"okay, ready?"

"you got it?" hongjoong raised his voice, seeing ivy standing in the living room with her sweats and cropped shirt showing off her new bling.

"if i told you it was fake would you believe me?" she smiled innocently at her leader who held an stern look on his face. "okay, well you get piercing without asking all the time." she argued

hongjoong let out a sigh and looked back down at the piercing "whatever, but you're explaining this to the managers and ceo, not me." he knows he's probably going to explain it to them because she hates confrontation, but he's going to make her think that she has to do it as punishment. "it doesn't look bad at all, just keep it clean"

mingi and seonghwa walked into the living room seeing the dazzling jewelry almost immediately "woah" the oldest member says, he knew she wanted it, but he didn't think she would want it that badly...

"you actually got it?" mingi laughed a little.

"yep, didn't even hurt"

wooyoung scoffed from the couch "she cried."

minvy from the eyes of ateez pt. 1

minvy take 1: cooking

ivy isn’t a greatest cook in the world, but she isn’t bad. she mostly cooks the easy things like eggs and pancakes. but with wooyoung cooking more and more, she suddenly feels the desire to learn more. and of course her best friend is more than welcome to help.

“you’re doing great so far” wooyoung complimented while patting her head “i have to use the bathroom, but just keep slowly stirring and don’t change the heat.”

“okay” ivy nods and smiles, feeling proud of herself. the older smiles and leaves the kitchen while another member enters.

“don’t distract her” wooyoung warns so ‘seriously’ that it made ivy giggle. mingi raises his hands in defense and promises not to distract her.

once wooyoung is clear from the kitchen, mingi runs over to where ivy is slowly stirring some special sauce that mingi thinks smells incredible. he wraps his arms around her from behind, and rests his chin on her head.

“i’m here to distract you” he kind of jokes

“mingi, no!” she laughs, trying to pull him away “i wanna do well”

“okay okay” mingi laughs with her “but i’m staying put”

ivy playfully rolls her eyes while they continue small talk with each other. mingis head was now hung down beside hers, his posture probably looked funky but he didn’t seem to care and neither did his girlfriend. “how’s your day been, lovely?”

“good, sleeping in was fantastic” she giggled, making her boyfriend do the same. that’s just something he loved about ivy, her laughs and smiles were just so contagious.

wooyoung walked back into the kitchen quietly, not wanting to disturb the couple. they’ve been through so much, and with their hectic schedules they hardly get time alone together. he didn’t want to ruin that. but, he could not pass up taking a picture. which he will regret in two seconds when the couple here’s his shutter go off. but he doesn’t even care to be honest.

“i’m saving this for your anniversary”

minvy take 2: grumpy

“i told you taking her out when she didn’t want to would just lead to her being grumpy drunk” seonghwa smacked yunho’s arm with a slight smile.

all the members looked at the only girl in the group. she was quite adorable when she was grump. she just sat there with a cute little pout that cause her cheeks to puff, and because of her current alcohol intake her face is flushed and her eyes are dazing off.

“you okay, love?” mingi tries to hold back a laugh while putting a hand on her thigh. “do you wanna go home”

“no, iss fine” she says drunkenly. the group all chuckles while ivy gives them all a hard and obvious side eye.

“why are you so grumpy livvy” jongho questions and rubbed her back.

“‘m nottt” she mumbled.

“okay, let’s leave her be” hongjoong smiled as he got up to get more drinks for the rest of the group and something with bread to help sober ivy up. as he passes the girl he rubs her head and gives her a kiss on the top of it. for a second she almost smiles until she realized her leader was leaving the group

“where he going?” she asked mingi a little panicked. the rest of the group was out in their own world, talking about lord knows what. when ever ivy gets drunk in public, mingi always makes sure to stay sober. his girlfriend always complains, saying he should be able to get drunk too if he wants. but he insists he doesn’t want to and would rather look after her. being an idol that’s drunk in public can be risky, so there’s always one or two members that stay sober in public to keep everyone in check. that’s just how it is.

“he’s just going to get more drinks and food, baby, he’ll be back” he says softly as he cuddles closer to her. his arm wraps around her waist as he kisses her on the cheek. “do you wanna go home?”

“everyone’s having fun. i’ll stay” she said, her words would probably only make sense to the group from how intoxicated she was. “more?”

“no i think you’re done for now, baby” her boyfriend chuckles and kisses her nose when her pout becomes even more prominent.

yunho looks from across them with a fond smile. mingi smothers her cheek with kisses as she sits there with a frown. “min” he gets his best gets his attention while holding his phone up for a picture.

mingi chuckles and puts one hand on one cheek and gives her other cheek and open mouth kiss, if you can even call it that, resulting in her face being squished. yunho takes the picture before mingi moves away slightly to look at ivy, who is giving him a glare.

“i wanna go home”

minvy take 3: skincare

hongjoong, mingi, and jongho were all invited to ivy’s room for a skincare night. in reality, all members were invited but no one wanted to so she forced them to. but that’s besides the point.

“who first?” she smiled as she brought in all her products from her bathroom bag. she had everything from acne treatments to face masks to some type of oils that the boys seemed scared of.

“mingi” hongjoong and jongho said at the same time. mingi looked at them with betrayal but let ivy drag him out of her bed, which at that point might as well been their bed.

“do i have to?” mingi whined

“yes, and they do too they just thought if you were first they wouldn’t have to” she glared at them making sure they stay still.

it’s kind of funny how the strict leader and the strongest member are scared of their youngest and only female member.

ivy and jongho are two of the closest members. they are best friends and have been since they met. so jongho has always been her biggest supporter with everything she does. especially this relationship.

mingi and ivy are laughing about about something as she puts on some type of scream on his cheek. jongho thought it was the perfect time for a picture. so he pulls out his phone and snapped it. the two turn their heads to looks at him.

“this is a good one”

POSTED: ATEEZ YouTube LIVE “surprise atiny!!!” (bold = english)

ivy waits anxiously but excitedly in front of the camera as she watches more people come into her live. she giggles at the comments freaking out when they see her. "hello," she says softly with a smile. "how is atiny today?" she looks through the comments. her voice was soft and a little quiet like she was being cautious not to make her voice too loud. she's freaking out a little herself. she hasn't been on camera in what felt like a lifetime. "this feels so weird" she giggled again, "i hope everyone has been healthy."

"i know i'm going live kind of late for a lot of people, so sorry," she says apologetically knowing a lot of her current viewers are up past at least 1 in the morning for this. "'how were your holidays?' my holidays were good. i spent new year's and christmas with my family."

"a lot of people are asking if i'm officially coming out of hiatus..." she smiles and trails off. she stays silent for a minute, pretending to ignore the question "yes"

the comments exploded but she acts unfazed, trying to hide her giggles and smile. she already talked to everyone about her coming out of hiatus, she's ready. she feels and looks healthier than ever, and she's never felt so okay with life than she is right now.

"'what songs have you been listening to these days' hm, i've been listening to a lot of selena gomez" she nods her head as she keeps reading the comments. she hears a knock on her door before she excuses herself to go and answer it.

"i'm on live, come say hi"

she walks back into the frame with a monster and some food "seonghwa oppa brought food" she giggled while seonghwa walked over and waved

"hello atiny" he says with a smile "did you tell them?" asking about the question earlier

ivy nods yes with a smile while seonghwa hugs her "I'm proud of you Livvy"

seonghwa left soon after that. Ivy sat on live for a little longer while she ate and answered questions. "i'm a little tired atiny, i'm going to go back to bed now. goodnight, i love you!"

……❪ i don't see hong being mad, at least not too mad. i think he'd just be very confused... if he is angry it's because he is just worried about what people would say. ivy and mingi aren't really the couple to do stuff like making out in public, they hardly kiss in public, so doing it in font of so many fans was just bizarre. i think he would probably get mad if ivy told him that it was because of the sign "so your jealous ass decided to kiss your boyfriend and probably receive even more comments like that in the end? smart move olivia" ❫

……❪ no one talk to him, he's in shock. he doesn't even say anything, he just sits there in silence. like the whole night. the man is scarred. but the funny part is, he's seen them makeout before, he's seen worse than what was on stage. but the fact that they did it on stage is what put him into shock. ❫

……❪ he's laughing his ass off. you could probably hear him cheering and howling backstage from the audience in all honesty. he's so amused by it. he knows that is not something either of them, especially olivia, would ever do unless there was a reasoning. "so why'd you do it?" he asks ivy with a smile "i don't know, just to do it" but he knows there's a real reason. he knows it. ❫

……❪ he's shocked he doesn't know if he laughs, covers his eyes, or runs. so he does all. he's not all that phased by it, but he will also be using this against them at any point he can. mingi makes fun of him for something "didn't you kiss your fellow member on stage" ivy makes a joke about him "you kissed mingi in front of atiny because you were jealous" i mean he's using this to his advantage really. ❫

……❪ he was hyping them up ON stage. he was howling into his mic, even when the lights dimmed. honestly he's not even that curious as to why it was done, but he's happy it was. he's been wanting them to 'let loose' forever now. but sadly for sannie, this was the first and last time that they do that again... or is it? ❫

……❪ he was surprised when she told him the idea. but you think he's gonna turn THAT down? fuck no. in fact, he did more than what ivy even asked. the whole spinning her, grabbing her leg, leaning her back, that was all mingi. she didn't expected that one bit. ❫

……❪ we all know how wooyoung is. so it's safe to say they will never be living this moment down. i mean. genuinely. he's laughing, cheering, clapping. and in two years he will say "remember when you guys made out on stage" i mean it's a story he will tell their future children. ❫

mood octopus

times when ivy’s mood octopus came in handy…

a little bit of background…

ivy was given the mood octopus by an atiny at a fan sign. the upset side is grey and the happy side is pink, and oh my gosh was she excited to get it. the say she got it so many videos of her reaction went viral. and ever since she got it, her members, and even staff members, regret letting her keep it at times…

victim 1 - yeosang:

ivy was already in a pretty upset mood. she was just tired and grumpy from their schedules, and people just kept bugging her for stuff. she was tired of it. so when yeosang was teasing her… it didn’t necessarily workout for him…

“uh oh” seonghwa chuckled when he and yeosang walked in the living room and saw ivy on the couch with her mood octopus flipped to the grey side. the oldest member pat yeosangs shoulder before walking into the kitchen.

“jisoo-ah” yeosang called out her legal name with a slight chuckle. but she was not budging. she kept looking straight at the tv with her arms crossed and her octopus beside her. “okay…” he sighed before walking out of the dorm

ivy was confused but just stayed in her spot watching her show. it was only 10 minutes by the time yeosang returned with a 7/11 bag in his hand. the younger tilted her head when he set the bag down beside her. she looked in it, smiling when she saw the bagged pickles and monster can.

she grabbed her octopus, flipping her to the pink and happy side before hugging the older. “thank god”

victim 2 - hongjoong:

with the leader constantly being in the studio, ivy can hardly find time to actually talk to him anymore. and one day, it really got on her nerves…

for the first time in forever, hongjoong was actually

home, during the day. ivy would be excited if she didn’t beg him for a month to hang out with her outside of work. and now he received the frowning octopus when he went to her room to talk.

he knocked and walked in as the girl quickly flipped her stuff toy and displayed it on her bed as her sheets covered her face. he expected this, and even came prepared.

“are these harry styles tickets?!”

mission accomplished.

victim 3 - atiny:

she brought this thing to a fansign… but fans loved it actually. until it was used on them when they cheered for the wrong person at the wrong time…

ivy was acting cute from her seat while waiting for a fan to be seated in front of her. some fans in the crowd gave her attention that she wanted until mingi began copying her and somehow earning bigger and better reactions.

in reality, ivy knows she isn’t as popular as her other members in korea, and of course that hurt, but she doesn’t blame anyone for it. but she still likes to tease her fans.

she looked at mingi, then the crowd and pouted before flipping her octopus to the grey side. atinys let out apologies and coos to the youngest

“yah! why don’t you pay more attention to ivy?” mingi teased the fans while pointing to the stuffed toy. “go again ivy”

ivy does what is told, doing cute poses and faces as the fans make a lot of noise of it. she smiles and flips her toy back to the pink.

“good choice” hongjoong teased

victim 4 - wooyoung:

wooyoung is a tease, but sometimes his comments can be a little too much for ivy…

“c’mon ji, i didn’t mean it like that” the older pouted as he followed the youngest member to her bedroom. he was stopped from following her any further when she slammed the door in his face.

“you pick on her too much sometimes, woo” san noted.

“i don’t mean to!” the younger began knocking on her door until he noticed that she didn’t even lock it. which was her plan, she wanted him to see the frowning octopus. “livvy…” he pouts again “i’m sorry”

“no you’re not” she mumbled, hiding in her covers. “you know that hurts my feelings” she’s fine with his teasing jokes, but sometimes he crosses the line. and he knows this, he just never realizes it until it’s too late.

“how can i make it up to you?” he asked, rubbing her head that was covered by her quilt. she just shrugged with no answer. he sighs and looks at the stuff animal again “wanna go to the aquarium?” he smiled as he watched her flip the toy to happy again before she jumps out of the bed.

“let’s go!!”
