i think the song i've noticed it the most is that's what you get, sometimes hayley doesn't sing the entire first 4 lines of the song and then the bridge she kinda talk-sings instead of proper singing which is fair because that song has been on the setlist forever and probably always will be so it must just get boring 😭 but she definitely has stopped singing quite so much in certain songs, hard times and rose coloured boy she does that shout-singing a lot too i've noticed

i don't mind it on twyg tho like i'm she she's bored af of it and fans are tired of it (not me tho i love how she focuses more on fan interaction with it) and yes i agree she sort of sing-shouts or sing-talks now more and i've also noticed it on songs like rcb and stuff. tbf i don't mind it when i'm at a concert cause then i don't have to attempt to actually sing lmao

I love H down but she does not sing more now than she did during AL and ST. In fact, she shouts more now than she did during those eras. No problem with that but it’s honestly just a fact. Like during AL there were no songs for her to be screaming and during ST a lot of the songs required that sort of shouting singing.

she never screamed in the first place post bne era or even post 2011 😭 al was sort of the beginning of her current singing style though tbh but i think it was a nice balance of it and of the singing everyone is saying is missing these days. s/t to me wasn't even shouting singing she was simply just belting a lot but otherwise she was purely singing

like don’t get me wrong, i love hayley and her voice but i miss when she would actually sing more on stage. like i know she’s having a great time and she’s dancing so of course im not expecting perfection but i have noticed when i saw them live last year, she was singing way less than she usually did and would point the mic to the crowd a lot, kinda shout and sort of do ad libs instead of actually just singing the song.

and im sure it’s partially to do with the fact that the setlist gets boring and she wants to make it more fun for herself but then i kinda wish that they’d switch up the setlist sometimes so she doesn’t get bored and feel like she has to do that.

there are still songs that she SINGS like decode, last hope, all i wanted (obviously), thick skull, crave but a lot of the rest, she just doesn’t bother as much anymore

Tbh the difference in Hayley’s singing now and ever since AL is that she’s actually singing more than screaming and I love it. Obviously she proves with songs like You First and The News that she can still use that grit when she wants but she’s always said she loves singing and listening to singers and I love that she lets herself do that now

i disagree. i wouldn't class self titled as screaming, that was more during bne and riot. self titled was probably her best in terms of her range but also her technique changed too. i'd argue self titled era she was singing more than she was screaming, it's just her style now is different

I don’t really love the new singing style H has adopted since around PFA. She’s still incredible but I do miss even AL era because I feel like she’s changed her singing style a looot since then.

i think she changed it during al tbh as in on tour not on the album, but i don't mind it. though i will say i didn't like it much during pfa promo esp live lounge

i wouldn't have thought there was any issue with me had i not ended up blocked by you and also soft blocked by someone i was moots with. that, to me, and probably to anyone if they were me, looks like i am being blamed in some fashion and naturally does look like i am responsible for what my anons say or i uphold their opinions on it all.

her hair was definitely looking kinda damaged by the end of tour, probably because they bleached tf out of her hair when she went from orange and black tips to platinum blonde in like a day. i blame brian, as always

no point in blaming brian when that's just what bleach does. but it's also not like her to chop all her hair off over damaged hair since she wouldn't need to chop it all off like that. but i'm p sure she didn't go from orange & black tips to platinum in a day at least i don't remember when she did that bc she had the orange & black for ages so it would've been safe for him to bleach it anyway since she left it alone for months

I loved them so much🤭 Hayley mentioning that AL is still her favorite makes me feel like the looks during the Eras Tour will be way more in line with the looks during the AL tours vs TIW so I’m super excited to see what H and Brian cook up!🎀 Do we think there will be a return of the blond? I hope so because it would be so fun to bring back the colorful streaks like during AL. But at the same time I feel like she cut her hair because it was SO damaged from the amount of bleaching and dyeing so maybe she’ll keep it the same auburn-y color

her hair shouldn't have been that damaged since she didn't really do much to it in recent years anyway. i think she did it cause it's smth she always wanted to do. i think it'll prob just be the same colour it is now tho

honestly i miss a loooot about the looks from AL.

i lowkey hated the whole 60s thing during TIW, partly because it didn’t fit the vibe of the album (imo) but also because i just didn’t looove the makeup looks or hair styles sometimes.

i think hayley looks sososo incredible in colours so for everything to be kinda black and white (post south american tour) it just felt like they couldn’t really explore much within the barriers of the colour scheme and the album vibe in general.

i hope that for eras, because it’ll be daytime when they perform mostly and they’re not in an album cycle, that they do some cool colourful maybe experimental makeup looks at least.

same! i prefer hayley in colours too and i think she's even said she prefers wearing colour too. i hope they get to experiment on the tour cause it's probably the best tour for it tbh
