As any normal human, I, too, would destroy myself for brown eyes.

With this occasion, I’m gonna speak a bit on how good Wayne men would be to their partner (canon aside for some, I think Tim’s applies.)

First of all, Bruce grew up surrounded by a patterned love language. He watched his great-grandmother cut her husband’s steak when his hands shook too much.

He watched Thomas simply slap his credit card on everything Martha deemed valuable (charities and humanitarian work included) and decided acts of service must be a Wayne tradition.

Bruce who anonymously pays the fees and rates for Clark’s farm, making sure they’re supplied with the best equipment and agricultural supplies, alimentary products, etc.

Dick who makes SURE Kory has a credit card on her at all times. It’s very cute that she carries a silk pouch with crystals, but, no, babe, you can’t pay for Silky’s SPA treatments with those.

So Jason unconsciously follows. Thought there’s an emotional and valuable aspect of it. Jaime doesn’t need a whole lot, — he does hunger for more, thought. Thought there’s belief in him Jason wants to undo, the same way he had to be.

“I kinda want this, but I don’t need it. Like, it’s not really practical.”

“Would it make you happy?”

“Of course it would.”

“That’s its purpose, then. How much?”

“Jason, I couldn’t —“

“How much, baby?”

GUYS PLS

Ok listen. GUNBUG. I’ve fallen into the rabbi hole. (I was already in it) BUT HEAR ME OUT. Jason is dead, alright? He knew Jaime and they had a crush on each other. Jaime is devastated and is probably going through the stages of grief. He NEVER sees any person in front of Jason’s grave, except an old man that he sometimes talks to. He puts some fresh flower’s and some old ones,(that are dying). he brings some food his nana made him, hoping that Jason can taste is from where ever he is. He makes a big feast when he was gonna leave because, he knew Jason would be sad and lonely. So he made some food and changed all the flowers so he wouldn’t be so sad right?? He leaves, the blue beetle movie happens. He doesn’t come back, now. He DIDN’T forget Jason at all, he was just TOO preoccupied by everything. (SPOILERS!) his dad dying having a fucking alien on his back. Yk, the normal. So he doesn’t go BACK to Gotham. (‼️I don’t really ship the girl and Jaime (totally didn’t forget her name)).

Jason, who came back long ago (while blue beetle was happening he did his red hood thingy) came to his grave excepting NOTHING. SEES SO MUCH?? Who did this?? Then he just remembers a blurry memory of a smiling boy who was super nice to him and wanted to be friends with him.(that he might have a little crush on but died 💀) Jaime? (Epic flashback to everything they did or smt) his graves where dead flowers and rotten food was. He goes to see the cameras and sees that EVERY. FUCKING. DAY. He would go see him and made him food he wouldn’t even eat?? (Because he was dead, get it? Wow, ass joke) and then just sees that one day he leaves and stops coming back. He probably thinks he’s dead or injured.. THEN BOOM, the news show blue beetle?? A new superhero?? (Will do more in the future but for now I am tired 😪)

I got a drabble idea not long enough for ao3 so bam

Jason and Damian had been paired up for their patrol route. Jaime held back a laugh as Damian made not so subtle attempts at breaking away from them.

Blue Beetle and Red Hood were a package deal at this point whenever they were in the same state, so Robin was patrolling with the both of them

At the tail end of the route, Hood had dropped down to street level in order to go to one of his informants.

Fully splitting up wasn't exactly an option with a preteen at your side, it would end in disaster and then no one would have backup. They couldn't go down to Jay either, given that it would break the informant's trust.

Jaime sighed, crouching on the edge of the rooftop with Robin beside him.

Staying on the rooftop it was.

Robin's fists clenched. It was as if the kid was actually getting antsy.

"You like drawing, no?" Jaime broke the silence.

Robin nodded.

"Indeed."

Jaime hummed. His elytra buzzed against his back, a steady vibration to fill the air.

"What medium do you frequent?"

Robin tilted his head in thought.

"Pastels, chalks, charcoal." He switched to a sitting position. "I also enjoy graphite."

Jaime kept his eyes on the door that Red Hood had gone through. It was a convenience store. Was he done meeting with the informant yet?

"Have you ever thought about trying sidewalk art? It sounds a little childish, I know, but you look like you never got the chalk bucket out of the class bin at recess." He said.

"I have, actually." Robin scoffed. "It would be nice to do it again. Grackle Grub in the alumni columns is a horrible replacement for recess." He mourned.

Jaime chuckled.

"I'll see when the next fun event at the office is." He promised.

Robin made a noise of interest.

There was movement.

Jay walked out the convenience store with a bag. He climbed back up to the roof and dug into the bag as he walked towards them.

"Five Hour Energy." He threw the bottle at Jaime and he caught it easily. "Canned boba tea." Robin caught the can that flew his way. "Freaks, the two of you."

"Says the malta drinker." Jaime teased.

"They didn't have it in stock." Jason huffed before gently bonking their heads together.

Robin popped the tab on his can.

"Did you even get anything good or did we take the pitstop for nothing?"

"You'll see back in the cave. Night's young."

Jaime yawned before chugging his bottle.

"Cariño, it is four A.M." He sighed. "Signal's getting up for weekend patrol in an hour. I have to go to court at eight."

Robin puffed up his chest.

"Hood is correct. The night is still in its infancy."

"Nene, don't encourage him."
