So, I think I just saw one of the worst takes for ch. 390--that being that Enji is being his asshole self because he's talking over Touya in his last moments.

I understand hating a character but I really don't know why people have the need to read everything they do from the most malicious angle possible. I get that Enji was a bad father, and even now makes mistakes, but it's really unfair to see him apologizing to Touya who has already been aloud to use what little breath he has left to speak, as him talking over him.

And the thing is people were shitting on Enji for not apologizing earlier, but now that he is, they have to find some other reason he's being terrible. I'm 100% positive that if Enji had just listened to Touya rant about hating everyone and wanted them all to die, these same people would say he was bad for not saying anything/apologizing.

Touya was barely coherent before Shoto froze him and now he's freezing from the inside out. He's charred to the bone and it's clear he's having trouble speaking the few times he did. For all the family knows, including Enji, Touya is dying. Does Enji really have the time to wait to apologize? And it's not like we see Touya trying to speak but getting cut off.

Saying Enji is making everything all about himself and speaking over Touya is overly harsh and clearly not the point the story is trying to make. It's just Enji finally apologizing to everyone, including Touya. The apology may not be enough, but even if it's not, it won't be because Enji talked over him and more that it came to late, or that words don't speak as loud as actions.

#idk #the way every non-Touya todoroki got heavily criticized these last few chapters really bugs me #like people make every excuse for Dabi #but as soon as the family gets upset because he's going to kill hundreds of innocent people #instead of telling him how much they want him to live and how much they love him #while risking their lives to try and save him mind you #they're big wrong and should try harder to be better siblings #like Touya's been dead to them for six years or more #and then it turns out he's been alive and shows up trying to kill your youngest brother #and admits to killing 30 random people to make your abusive dad look bad #and helps throw Japan in to a dystopian nightmare #and this makes everyone hate you #like idk i'd probably be more concerned with the hundreds of innocent people he's about to kill over him too #he's put your lives at risk multiple times and has already killed a lot of people #you haven't heard from him for 6 years and he let you think he was dead the entire time #like honestly Touya is lucky his siblings even bothered to show up to help him at all #like Rei and Enji should be there because they're obligated to be as his parents #but it would be more then fair for all of Touya's siblings to wash their hands of him after all the shit he put them through #but how dare anyone be anything but understanding and loving toward any of the LoV #it wouldn't bug me as much if Dabi got the same treatment #but when people said it was pretty shitty he left his family and let them think he was dead #he got the whole 'he owns his family nothing' treatment #like why does Touya own his family nothing #and it's fine for him to leave them to grieve his loss while he plots to murder shoto to show up there father #but wrong for Fuyumi and Natsu to not be 100% showing Dabi with love as he burns everyone in a 100 miles alive #including them

But at their core, they're different?

But I think the similarities between them r the things that make me interested in both of them as characters. Thinking about that tiktok about the girl being all sad about her parents dying one day and stuff, and I'm just thinking about Yandere President Overhaul AU, the toddler triplets are just sitting around with reader (who's heavily pregnant and snoring on the couch, a little drooling too) and Tomura suddenly realised that you could die- be it by pregnancy or talking to other people- ANYTHING could kill you.

And now Tomura is about 2 seconds away from having a full blown meltdown, and Dabi and Himiko are just trying to calm him down (and give your poor self a break and not wake upto 3 kids shrieking and crying).

Himiko: can you like- not freak out? Mom's not going to die-

Tomura, snot and tears: maybe not now! B-but who knows when?! Maybe- maybe it's today- or tomorrow- or when we're asleep! What are we gonna do w-without her?!

Dabi, rolling his eyes and crossing his arms over his chest: stop being such a baby, Tomu. If mom dies, we'll just- go with her.

Tomura, stops sniffling: what?

Himiko: dabi... that's a brilliant idea! Oh my gosh, we can use my knifes!

Dabi: of course its a brilliant idea, I'm the oldest. I'm smart like that. *pats Tomuras head* see? I told you we have nothing to worry about.

Tomura, wiping his tears away and nodding: you're right. Wait, what about dad?

Dabi: we are not inviting him. He's not coming with us, he hogs mom all the time!

Tomura, eyes twinkling: Dabi, you're a genius.

And the kids all just gather around their poor innocent mom, who's just content when she wakes upto her 3 menaces sleeping away in her arms. Meanwhile, Kai (who's been listening on to the triplets convo because ofc he has the whole place bugged.) is just thinking in his office... "what the fuck? The kids are just gonna kill themselves when Y/n's not around anymore? What- how- why didn't I think of that first? Also, why didn't Himiko stand up for me? Won't she invite me along when they all go? Is she still mad at me for not getting her a pet octopus last week? What was I supposed to do when her mom said no?!"

Also I don't trust anyone that thinks shigaraki is an entirely hateful character. Like yes, he's obviously hateful towards a lot of things LOL. But he's shown he cares for those that support him multiple times

He just doesn't show it in the way I think people *expect* him to. But he cares quite a lot. I find it even more endearing that it's clear that he cares for the members of the league without having to say it. We LOVE a king who knows actions speak better than words.

I also really don't think he's incapable of having a partner? A lot of people would say it's out of character (which would be true for earlier seasons maybe?), but I think the reason he doesn't have any feelings like that for people is

1.) he had no idea of what a good relationship looked like growing up. he was 5 when everything happened. And even if he didn't accidentally kill his family?? His dad was abusive and emotionally unavailable. If he had led a "normal" life, it would've been incredibly hard to unlearn what he was taught love was. I think his mom would've been the only reason, if she were alive, that he would know what love and connection felt like, had they not died.

2.) no one (to my knowledge. I haven't read the manga), has really complimented him. Told him he was pretty. Said they were proud. Even if someone did compliment him looks wise, no one has pointed out good qualities he has (at least up until the league regarding positive traits he has (personality, leadership qualities, intelligence). And even then, one of the first things he heard from dabi was an insult to his face. I love dabi but that still makes my eye twitch 🙃)

I'm not saying praise, validation, or compliments would fix everything. But ohmygod. If someone would just be genuine and tell him that they believe and support his successes, or listen and talk to him like a human, it'd probably send him into a different, slightly healthier mindset.

One reason I absolutely love the friendship/relationship between spinner and shigaraki. He just needs some verbal support and someone who listens (me too LOL). He deserves so much idc. No just spinner either.

I'm a shigaraki supporter first, and a human second🙂‍↕️. Also I do apologize if some of my I formation doesn't seem very correct, it's been a while since I've watched it, and I do not read the manga 🥲. Even if some of my facts don't stand though, I am a very firm believer that with more attention or someone completely loyal, would make him happy. I mean it was pretty much proved he loved attention and wanted supporters more than anything in season 2(?) I think. Anyways, I love my boy. If shigaraki has no supporters, I'm deceased LMAO

|| Imagine Afo having almost the same goal as Endeavor at some point: Combining Quirks. ||

|| What if Afo wanted to have a quirk that didn't have the same weakness as his, he wanted to have an All For One that could steal quirks from distance, and what better way to do it than having an heir? ||

|| But to have an heir, he needed a woman with a quirk that could attract things to her, and that's where Inko comes in ||

|| Her quirk was just what Afo needed, and on top of that, she was manipulable, she was perfect for the plan, but then a problem came in to ruin everything: Hisashi Midoriya ||

|| Most likely by that time they would be married and happy, and just that, was a problem for Afo but when he realized that Hisashi worked in Koga Construction, something came to his mind. ||

|| Afo began to monitor Hisashi and learn his behaviors with people and especially with Inko, and one day, Afo summoned Hisashi to "build" something for him, and when Hisashi arrived... Afo killed him. ||

|| After getting rid of the body, Afo using the Quirk to change appearance, he changed his appearance and took on Hisashi's. (Evidence that Afo does have a Quirk like that in the photo ↓) ||

|| "Hisashi" returned home with his wife, and after a month or more time, he convinces her to have a child ||

|| And well, then Izuku was born ||

|| It is more than obvious that the plan worked, since in the manga Izuku currently shows TOO many signs of having a quirk ||

|| So the question with this theory is... What happened? Why didn't Afo steal Izuku's quirk? ||

|| And don't tell me that "Maybe his quirk was like Yoichi's and they couldn't tell it was really there" BECAUSE THEY KNEW. ||

|| In this publication we are taught some human biology, and, in short, The Doctor Gairaki, lie, THIS BALD SON OF A BITCH LIED TO INKO AND IZUKU IN THEIR FUCKING FACE. ||

|| But why? Why Afo ordered the Doctor to lie?? Why not steal the quirk and say that Izuku was quirkless??? ||

|| For this I bring two possible reasons: ||

1) Izuku's quirk CANNOT be stolen by Afo so he just compressed it and waited for Izuku to decide on his own to be a villain so he could tell him the truth later, and then make him his true successor and the Prince of Demons.

2) Afo ended up becoming fond of Izuku because his appearance and behavior is similar to that of Yoichi, but as we already know...

someone died for using their quirk for the first time.. Soooo Izuku using his quirk didn't seem like a very good idea to Afo.

|| Either option can be possible, it could even be both! (I say this because Afo HAD MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO KILL IZUKU OR INKO AND NEVER DID ANYTHING TO THEM WHEN THAT PLUM BITCH KILLED NANA'S HUSBAND AND THE WHOLE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF KUDOU-) ||

|| But well now we just have to wait to see how the Dad For One Theory will become canon ||

|| And remember! ||

|| Have hope that the theory will become reality! If Horikoshi already did something like this with Tomura/Tenko and with Dabi/Touya then the theory is not so crazy that it cannot be canonized! ||
