If you want a wonderful spiritual book to read, this is it! Doesn’t matter what flavour of christian you are. Yes, it is some what ‘catholic’ in nature as the readings are daily meditations for Lent and Eastertide with the scriptures tied to that liturgical calendar but if you read the Holy Bible, this shouldn’t be a problem.

This nice little volume is the perfect prayer book size measuring 10cm (4 inch) x 15.5cm (6 1/4 inch) x 2.5cm (about 1 inch?). Perfect traveling companion for prayer and contemplation to help feed your soul. It is part of a multiple volume set but each can stand alone. It also comes in an e-book format for those that desire that format.

The only draw back I am having is that the off-gassing caused by the vinyl plastic cover. It seems to have dissipate some but on bad lung days/sensitivity days, it can be a trigger (so stay up on your readings!! don’t let them stack up).

One of my favorite illustrated Saint books. The artwork is so beautiful and it includes stories of various Saints throughout history. Unfortunately it has many bad reviews for being “dark and disturbing”
