If Neil was cast in Romeo and Juliet, I can see him being Mercutio, Mercutio literally dies because of someone physically stepping into his plan of fighting Tybalt. Mr Perry stepped into his play which eventually lead him to die.
If he was Romeo then Todd would have to be Juliet, which doesn’t make sense because Todd would never be dumb enough to trust the Friar with his ideas.
If Romeo just took a second to investigate Juliet would they both have been alive, yes! Now Neil couldn’t have done anything to stop his death it was fated from the beginning, Romeo and Juliet were just two stupid teens who definitely shouldn’t have been together.
I actually love Romeo and Juliet, but the characters in it definitely were not thinking at all when they did the stuff they did.
Amazing plays from lis bts. Rachel as a teenager in 2010 being absorbed in plays from the early 1900s, is such a dreamy-Cali-kid thing. "Full of imagination", as Chloe says.
Rachel "delving into the mind of Chloe Price" by reading the book Chloe liked while she waited for Chloe to dye her hair.
Oh Chloe you'll realise Rachel's such a big fan of Tennessee Williams & Shakespeare, she even hangs posters of their plays in her room.
Kiss Me Kate inspired from Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Some of these giving me 🏳️🌈 vibes
Blanche fits Rachel like a shirt. Imagine her own heartbreaking take on it.
Reading book "recs" from a fandom is such an experience
Richard Mansfield’s 1880s onstage portrayal of Dr. Jekyll’s transformation into Mr. Hyde was so good that people accused him of being Jack the Ripper and even wrote letters to the London police encouraging his arrest.
romeo and juliets driving theme is not silly teenagers falling in love, it is the male cycle of violence and how children will always be it’s worst victims
