MHA AU Idea (Grease)

Ok but WHY is this so cute??

It gives '1980's musical' vibes (specifically reminds me of Grease). And as such, I believe it's time for another AU idea.

(Note: It's not 100% to the canon movie because I tried to fit EVERYONE into it and I love the movie so y'all can suck my dick.)

Story: It'd follow the same plot as the movie, with Deku being 'Sandy' and Bakugo being 'Danny'. The two fall in love during the summer before their senior year, with both believing it'd simply be a one-time fling. Then, suddenly, Deku shows up at the school and reveals his mom (Inko) and step-dad (who will be an OC btw) decided to stay permanently instead of moving back to Japan. So now Bakugo has to hide his inner soft-hearted nature, while Deku has to become more 'tough' to prove he can stand alongside the one he loves.

And another one bites the dust. This is genuinely upsetting. I may not ship Dramione, but even I know that this? This? This is a snowball rolling down a hill. It starts off with Dramione and it’s going to grow, branch out into other fandoms.

Soon it’s not just going to be just Dramione fics being taken down, but other ships and other fandoms as well. I’ve already seen one of my PJO fics I’ve bookmarked disappear.

This is not Dramione vs Theft. This is Fandom vs Theft. We need to nip this in the bud before it expands and rots the rest of our garden.

Like I’ve said, I may not ship Dramione, but I’m going on to Amazon, I’m going on to Etsy, and I’m reporting the “books” these assholes have published. You don’t have to be a fan to be a good person.

Taken from Chapter 16 of Portal Panic---during which our favorite overbearing sibling plays therapist to one Katsuki Bakugo.

Bubbling hot slag met the crisp calm of an aquamarine lake.

“What the hell are you looking at?!” Katsuki challenged, taking several menacing steps forward. He did not like that look. He felt exposed.

Only the pulse of overheated blood kept the teen from flinching when his own words parroted back at him in English from the table. Kami, he was really starting to hate that language.

A million thoughts seemed to flit behind the ginger’s eyes before him, until something settled in her gaze that Bakugo liked even less than the bone-deep knowledge he couldn’t escape.

Sorta Danny Phantom BKDK AU

NO QUIRK! AU and takes place at the BKDK middle school year.

So same concept: Childhood friends, suddenly Baku is a bully to Deku and Deku just takes it.

All Might is his stepfather and All Might is a renowned Ghost Hunter and Fighter. (Opposite of Jack Fenton tho)

One day, Deku was helping out his All Might’s ghost portal. Portal didn’t work so Deku secretly checks it out and his molecules got all arranged.

Basically, Deku sorta dies while seeing what’s wrong with the portal and he gets turned into a ghost.

With this new power, Deku realizes he could do vigilante work. (Sorta like Spiderman) and keeps it a secret from people.

This is before he got into UA High before he met his new friends, Uraraka and Iida. Both somehow figured out his secret during antics.

And when Bakugo eventually finds out about his secret, I kinda want to see it as angsty.

Like Deku just breaks down when Bakugo screams at him about what happened and he just goes ‘I DIED OKAY?! SO SORRY THAT IT DIDN’T DO THE FULL JOB! GUESS YOU’RE STILL STUCK WITH ME!’

Cue the chilling silence that follows after Deku says this. (I just really want some angst in this AU)

But it will soon progress into Bakugo helping Deku out with his ghost adventures.

Danny def pulls as many pranks on Bakugou as he can. He’s the only one who’s seen some of the eldritch bullshit Danny can pull. Denki knows that Danny is a ghost and he’s told him about some of the stuff he can do but Kami hasn’t seen it himself. Everyone else in the dorms thinks that Danny just has a normal quirk, but nobody can seem to agree on what it is.

Danny, appearing from nowhere: No, no, let him speak.

Dash: Punches, pushing and bad nicknames? I get it. It's not right, but I was the same stupid—

Bakugo: who are you calling stupid—

Dash: —teen too. But you can't tell someone to kill themselves—

Danny: yeah, they could be already dead.

Dash: Not the moment, Fenton.

So, yeah, I'd want to see Dash overhearing that conversation or seeing some other interaction (let's say, the "not if he dodges" incident) and be so utterly offended, because "I was a bully, but I had standards".
