2023 Adventures
I'd always wanted to go to Western Australia. I'd heard so much about it, how Perth was a really pretty place and Broome was supposed to be gorgeous. I'd been to Perth once before, it was only a fleeting visit though. I was with my hubby and the train line was down, so his company had a few loads that had to go to Perth. That was the shortest visit to a city that I'd ever have. But, I knew that someday, I'd be back.
Fast forward to 2023 and I'd finally made it. I spent 7 weeks in Swan Valley. I hadn't been able to do all the things that I wanted to do, but, once again, I knew that I'd be back. There was something about this state, it was mesmerising, always beckoning you to return.
When I left Perth, I travelled down along the coast. Bunbury, Busselton, Albany, Esperance. All beautiful destinations in their own right. Research on each town is a must if you want to get the best out of your visit. I know that I missed so much because I had done no research. I had found different places when I was leaving and I wished that I had of done my homework about each area.
Still, all in all, just experiencing each town and interacting with the locals was also a great experience. It doesn't take them long to start to recognise you, especially if you visit their shop or cafe frequently.
It's never long enough. It was time to return home, but I was already planning my adventure for 2024. I was sincerely hoping that I would be able to spend my time more wisely.
Good bye WA. I will be back. See you next year.

Time Travel Question 28: Murder and
Disappearance Edition II
Given that Judge Crater, Roanoke, and the Dyatlov Pass Incident are credibly solved, though not 100% provable, I'm leaving them out in favor of things ,ore mysterious. I almost left out Amelia Earhart, but the evidence there is sketchier.

Brisbanians!!
Your school children have stupid hats.
That's all :)
Love,
A Perthian
PS but your public transport system is literally fucking incredible compared to our pathetic excuse. Like, not to be controversial, but you can't call 4 train lines half-heartedly propped-up by once-an-hour buses a public transport system. It's a disgrace x
