Hiiii friendssss! What the FUCK is up. What the fuck is up. What the Fuck is up. On todays cute little cookin excursion we are going to be deep frying things and using a wok. If you dont feel comfortable deep frying, and dont have a wok, im sure theres other ways to do it silly :DDD
I believe in you.
From LotR online we're gonna be making Fried Beetroot Sticks!!
(As always you can find the cooking instructions and full ingredient list under the break-)
MY NAMES CROSS NOW LETS COOK LIKE ANIMALS
SO, “what goes into Fried Beetroot Sticks?” YOU MIGHT ASKSlices of sweet little beated root dipped into a batter with, watch out, special flavors too.
2 Beetroots
Corn flour
Salt
Red Chilli Powder
Garlic Paste
Baking Soda
Water
Peanut oil
And we'll also be making some horseradish sour cream dip to go along with it;
Sour cream
Prepared horseradish
1 Green onion
Few splashes of lemon juice
Salt to taste
Ground pepper to taste
"Cooked, tender beetroot sticks are dredged in a light batter and fried to give a crispy exterior and a soft, sweet interior. Served with a bracing horseradish sour cream, this snack is both filling and delicious."- LotRO Tooltip
AND, “what does Fried Beetroot Sticks taste like?” YOU MIGHT ASKThis is like homemade fair-food and it sounds like a contradiction but its not
But maybe its just because its fried food? American brained, sorry.
Retains the inherit sweetness to beetroot
And similar to pickled beetroot the sweetness contrasts the spicey of the batter
(which i encourage you to amp up if youd like more spice)
The horseradish sourcream dip is to die for
Measure with your heart for that one, and save some green onion to top it with when you serve
This would pair very well with a lime italian soda or with shaved ice cones
Im always very anxious about deep-frying things, or working with oils at high temperatures, but i didnt run into any complications with this dish. Just make sure to keep best practices and safety precaution in mind, especially with a wok as it can tilt!
. If you dont have corn flour, you can substitute all-purpose flour . If you dont have peanut oil, look up oils with the same smokepoint to decide what else to use
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The recipe stuck out to me, as i was assembling a list of foodstuffs from tolkiens work, for being such a "regular" named food. Also its worth 19 silver 69 copper in the LotR MMO and im immature.
I think the dip has the most room for improvement and tinkering. I've never made horseradish sourcream before, so more practiced tastebuds could perfect a simple thing like this. In the future id also like to try adding red pepper flakes along with the the powder and garlic paste, to give more visual variety and spice. I think cumin in the batter would be a nice midtone flavor too.
I give this recipe a solid 8/10 (with 1 being food that makes one physically sick and 10 being food that gives one a lust for life again.) for its relative simplicity and modularity with things you could add.

Caesar dressing is amazingly easy to make.
I made this and stuffed mushrooms tonight; those are currently in the oven so I'll reblog later with an update on their glory.
CAESAR DRESSING IF YOU WANT IT!
1 tbsp minced garlic (I used a garlic smasher and crushed 5 cloves, but we like garlic here and 1 tbsp isn't enough)
1 teaspoon anchovy paste (or slightly less than 1 tsp of fish sauce, or leave it out! I'm not a cop)
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice, from one lemon (I legit just cut a lemon in half and squeezed out all of its juice)
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (I like the brand Maille)
1 teaspoon Whatsonyershirt sauce (Worcestershire)
1 cup mayonnaise (Whatever you have will work)
½ cup freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano (I left this out so I can eat it, my roomies can add some to their own salads)
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Tumblr media
Add the first 5 ingredients to a bowl, whisk em together. Add the rest of the ingredients, do the same. Then you are done and have made your own Caesar dressing and you can put that shit on anything your tastebuds and heart direct you to.

how to make pancakes more filling and taste better
so pancakes are actually way way easier than everyone thinks they are and they are very very easy to change up as long as you know how to
the things that you don't fuck with are the amount of flour, oil, egg, milk and baking powder/soda. as long as you stick to that on any recipe you can change pretty much anything else or substitute.
generally recipes are 1 egg to 1 cup of flour. a 1 cup flour 1 egg recipe usually serves 2 and you can double the recipe for 4, etc.
you can also substitute up to half of the four in a recipe for whole wheat flour without changing the leavening measurements. you can do the same for adding in protein powder, just adjust the sugar accordingly if its sweetened protein powder.
so, this is my favorite basic buttermilk pancake recipe, it makes about 10 pancakes:
1 1/4 cups flour 1/2 cup old fashioned oats 1-1 1/2 tbsp some kind of sweetener (brown/white sugar or maple syrup/agave syrup all work well but there's other options) 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 egg 1 1/4 cup buttermilk 1 tbsp oil of choice (butter or coconut oil generally) 1/2 tsp salt
this is the bones of the recipe. the sweetener is adjustable based on how sweet you like your pancakes but the rest of it should all stay the same. double this if you want to make pancakes to serve 4 people (about 20 pancakes)
to this, i add:
as much vanilla extract as my heart desires (within reason, i see you tumblr) some cinnamon/pumpkin pie spice/whatever you want lemon zest from 1 lemon (or orange zest) blueberries fresh or frozen (but you can use any mix in like bananas or nuts or whatever)
one very important note: you don't need buttermilk to make this recipe. you can substitute buttermilk by combining 1 teaspoon of lemon juice or white vinegar for every 1 cup of milk (its supposed to be regular milk but you can use plant or nut milk too) and letting it stand for 10 minutes.
the instructions:
zest your citrus and add it to your sugar. mush it together until you get a paste or sorts. add to that your oats, vanilla and buttermilk and stir them together. let the oats soak in the mixture for 10 minutes.
combine your flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon or spices.
after your oats are done soaking add in the oil and the egg (make sure the egg is beaten well)
add the wet into the dry and combine. make sure that all the flour is mixed in. there will be lumps. we want the lumps. then add your mix ins.
grease a pan. this can be a regular frying pan an electric griddle or a stovetop griddle. let the oil sit on the pan on medium heat for a few minutes or until you throw a few water drops on the pan and they crackle and jump.
use a 1/3 measuring cup and scoop your batter onto the pan, space them out a little but not ridiculously. flip them with a plastic spatula (ideal) 2-3 times or until they're fully cooked. (you tell if they're cooked if there's no wet batter on the sides)
voila. pancakes.
use this recipe or use the bare bones version to make your own thing.
happy pancake making.

Tips to help avoid binging…
Cut up cucumbers or celery and put seasoning on them, eat them and drink water in between(gives the illusion of eating a lot and can trick you into not binging on bad food) you can do the same with raw broccoli or carrots
Drink lots of water, or if you can stand the taste drink 16oz water with 1tsp apple cider vinegar, you can add lemon juice to help with the taste
Drink lots of peppermint tea (or any hot tea) (add 0 cal sweetener if u need to)
Obviously Diet Coke, black coffee, or 0 cal monster
Vegetable broth!!!
Look at thinspo!
Take ur vitamins and drink 1-2 full bottles of water with them!
Cut up 1 small apple(55 cals) or one large apple (95 cals) into super skinny pieces(the smaller you cut up your healthy food and the more you chew, the more your brain thinks you’ve eaten) drink 1-2 bottles of water and you will feel full
Make sure SOMETHING is in your stomach whether it’s liquid or food, just make sure you’re putting something in it when you’re hungry to stop your stomach growling or over time your starvation instincts will kick in to eat as much as you can(trust me I’ve been down this road for most of my life) so as a rule, to avoid binging, put something in your stomach even if it’s lettuce or celery.
Whether you want to have the calories or not it will help to let yourself have a tbsp of peanut butter (90 cal) or even some oatmeal (150 cal for 1/2 cup) or both (240) bc those things will stick with you throughout almost the whole day and will keep you full.
Plain Low fat Greek yogurt(90 cal for 3/4 cup) will stick with you throughout the day as well. I put 1 tsp of agave nectar(honey works too)(30 cal) and cut up 3 grapes(10 cal) and it’s sweet and helps stop cravings. 130 cal total. You can also sub the fruit and honey for 1 tbsp peanut butter to stay full longer(180 cal total)
As much as you want to eat literally nothing, that is the reason you are binging. If you eat less than 1,500 calories a day you *will* lose weight. If you eat less than 1,000 a day you’ll lose it faster. But if you eat nothing for days you will binge. Eat small amounts of healthy food and you’ll be in control longer. Trust.
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk besties

Samhain Cinnamon Rolls
Because Samhain/Halloween is in exactly a week from now, I am sharing a Cinnamon roll recipe with you all! These cinnamon rolls are super soft and sweet, perfect for celebrating Samhain or during spooky movie nights.
Witchy tips during baking:
Mix clockwise and say your intentions for the rolls out loud, this could be "I welcome abundance into my life with open arms.", "I embrace the blessings of the harvest and celebrate the abundance it brings." or if you plan to share the rolls with friends and family: "May these cinnamon rolls nurture the bonds of love and friendship among us."
When you sprinkle the spices into the cake, do this clockwise and say each correspondence out loud as you do this: Cinnamon: for love, and warmth Cardamom: for attraction and harmony.
Ingredients:
For the dough:
500 grams of plain wheat
1 packet (or 7 grams) of instant yeast
200ml milk/water
1 egg
75 grams of soft butter
80 grams of light brown sugar
1 tsp cardamom (optional)
For the filling:
150 grams of dark brown sugar
80 grams of soft butter
3 tbs cinnamon
Mix all the dry ingredients with the wet ones, knead the dough for 15 minutes by hand or for 10 minutes if you have an machine.
After kneading, form a ball with the dough and let it rest on a warm place covered with a towel.
Meanwhile make the filling for the rolls, and store in the fridge.
After an hour, the dough should have been doubled in size. Form a rectangle and use a rolling pin to flatten it (1/1,5 cm thick).
Spread the filling over the rolled out dough and roll the dough up.
Use an knife and cut the dough in 10 equal rolls, place these in a round or square oiled baking mold/ or on a baking tray.
Bake for 15-20 minutes on 200c (392F).
OPTIONAL! Icing! Mix powdered sugar with a squeeze of lemon juice, mix well and pour over the rolls once cooled down.

FEEL BETTER CHICKEN SOUP
Today I woke up and felt a little ill. So I decided to make myself some good old feel-better chicken soup.
Being mixed, I've always grown up with two different versions of chicken noodle soup, so eventually when I grew up I just combined the two! Hispanic chicken soup usually uses tomatoes sazón, adobo, chicken thigh, lemon, and rice, but American chicken soup usually uses noodles, chicken breast, plain broth, salt, pepper, and celery.
So here's one way to twist the two together.
This recipe is pretty easy to make when you don't have a lot of energy because there is about an hour and a half of cooking where you can just sit down and relax while doing it.
3-4 Chicken Thighs or Legs (I prefer bone-in because it has more flavor and is more tender.)
3 tbsp Garlic honey (works well if fermented, it's fun and easy to make your own!) - Healing, Protection, Purification
One Goya Sazon Packet
1 Bay Leaf - Protection, Healing, Purification
1/2 Cup Baby Carrots (You could just chop up a regular carrot too lol)
1 yellow Onion
2 tsp grated Ginger - Cleansing, Energy, Healing
Half a bag of egg noodles (You could also use rice) - Longevity
4 cups chicken broth
2 green onions
Chicken Seasoning:
4 cloves garlic  - Protection, Healing
1/8 cup chopped parsley - Protection, Strength
1/2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp adobo seasoning
1 tbsp thyme - Healing, Abundance, Health, Prosperity
2 tsp basil flakes - Abundance, Prosperity
1 tsp red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper - Banish Negative Energy
Juice of half a lemon - For Healing
Hot Scallion Oil:
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp green onion
DIRECTIONS:
Blend the chicken seasonings listed above in a blender or in a mortar and pestle. Whichever you prefer. Rub on chicken and fry in a pot with oil until each side is browned. About 4 minutes on each side.
Add in yellow onion, ginger, and garlic honey, and cook until soft. Add in carrots and chicken stock. Add in Bay leaf and goya season packet. Cook for about an hour.
Add in green onions, and taste if the soup needs more seasoning. If it does, season to taste. Simmer for another 20 minutes.
When the chicken is tender enough to where it is falling off the bone, remove the chicken from the bone and discard the bones and bay leaf.
Add in egg noodles and cook for 7-9 minutes with the lid on, until the noodles are cooked.
Heat up 2 tbsp of oil until very hot. Add in green onion and cook for a little under a minute.
Laddel soup into a bowl and top with a spoonful of scallions and scallion oil.
Enjoy!
Editors Note: I'll never understand how people take such aesthetic photos of food loll.

فخارة العدس / Fukharat l'adas (Palestinian clay-pot lentils)
The name of this dish comes from "فَخَّار" ("fakhar"), meaning "pottery," and "عَدَس" ("'adas"), meaning "lentils." It is traditionally cooked in a قدرة ("qedra," clay pot) made from clay refined from local soil and shaped in family-owned pottery workshops. This type of pot is also used to make a lamb and rice dish of the same name commonly eaten in Gaza and Hebron. The qedra is filled with the cooking ingredients, sealed with a flour-water paste or with aluminum foil, and placed in a wood-fired oven—or buried in an earth oven—to cook for several hours, or even overnight.
This simple dish cooks red lentils with yellow onion, olive oil, and cumin to produce a smooth, earthy stew; additional olive oil and fresh lemon juice squeezed on after cooking add freshness and a tart lift, and شطة (shatta, red chili paste) is spooned in for heat.
As of 2019, the number of families producing qedra in Gaza had decreased from 40 or 50 to 3 or 4, according to workshop owner Sabri Attallah. The Israeli blockade which began in 2007 closed off foreign markets for Palestinian qedras, while cheaper, metal imports cut in on the local market. When the pots are exported to Israel, the multiple checkpoints and mandatory searches between Gaza and Israel cause many of them to break. The compression of Palestinians into small areas by Israeli government and settlers also spells problems for the qedra industry, as the smoke caused by firing pots reduces air quality for nearby residents. Many consider pottery-making to be both an integral part of Palestinian identity, and to be dying out: thus the targeting of Palestinians' economic self-determination targets cuisine and culture as well.
Today, Israeli weapons threaten Palestinian existence. Palestine Action has called for bail fund donations to aid in their storming, occupying, shutting down, and dismantling of factories and offices owned by Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit Systems.
For the lentils:
1 cup split red lentils, rinsed
1 yellow onion, chopped
3 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp cumin seeds, toasted and ground
Salt, to taste
About 3 cups water
For the shatta (شطة):
100g (about 1 cup) fresh red chili peppers
2 tsp table salt
2 Tbsp olive oil
To serve:
Olive oil
Juice of 1/2 lemon, or to taste
Sweet peppers, radishes, spring onions, pickles, olives, leafy greens, shatta (red chili pepper paste).
Instructions:
For the shatta:
1. Wash peppers and remove stems. Use a mortar and pestle, food processor, or potato ricer to reduce peppers to a paste.
2. Add salt and stir. Add olive oil and stir. Store extra shatta in a jar in the fridge; cover with a thin layer of olive oil to avoid spoiling.
For the lentils (in the oven):
1. Coat the inside a piece of clay cookware of sufficient size, such as a Palestinian qedra or a Moroccan tanjia or tajine, with olive oil. Add the rest of the ingredients, followed by enough water to cover the lentils by at least an inch (about 3 cups). Make sure that the opening of the pot is completely covered (e.g. with a layer of aluminum foil, and then the pot's lid).
2. Place the clay pot in your oven and then heat it to 500 °F (260 °C).
3. Reduce the heat to 150 °F (65 °C) and cook for 2-3 hours, until lentils are mushy.
For the lentils (on the stovetop):
1. Heat olive oil in the base of your clay cookware, or a large pot. Add onions and cumin and fry briefly.
2. Add water and lentils and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes on medium.
3. Lower heat to low and cook for another 30 minutes, until consistency is smooth and mushy. Add water as necessary.
To serve:
Transfer lentils to individual serving bowls. Top with lemon juice and olive oil. Serve alongside shatta (which you may choose to spoon into your bowl) and fresh vegetables.

Annoying when people hear how strict my diet has to be and they lean in closer to be like “but aren’t you ever tempted to eat that stuff anyway?”
First of all, not really. I super enjoy not spending the next 3 days incapacitated by pain and confined to my bathroom shitting and vomiting and crying. “Aren’t you tempted” actually if I could donkey kick the concept of garlic bread off a cliff into an active volcano I would, the rest of y’all be damned.
But second of all, yeah, I do cheat on my diet sometimes. But I don’t think you would recognize what my “cheating” looks like.
Cheating means using two ketchup packets (high fructose corn syrup, major trigger; also includes onion) with my fries when I get fast food (only fries, nothing else on the menu is safe) so I don’t have to eat plain fries for lunch
Cheating means eating a small piece of cookie cake (gluten aka fructans, my worst trigger) at my friend’s birthday party after double checking how much flour I can safely eat (1/4 cup)
Cheating means getting a deli sandwich despite not being able to confirm the ingredients in the meat (garlic and onion (fructans; do not engage), honey (fructose; limit 1 tsp), god knows what else; probably unlabeled anyway because the USDA allows that) because fuck, they have gluten free buns (might still have honey) and that’s better than anything else I can hope for at most restaurants
Cheating means getting a small lemonade because strictly speaking I shouldn’t have that much lemon juice (fructans, 3/4 cup limit) but it’s watered down and probably doesn’t have high fructose corn syrup in it and I’ll only drink half of it and save the rest for tomorrow, and it’s like the only fruit juice I can even slightly have
Cheating means grabbing a small plate of fruit (fructose, fructans, sorbitol. Pick one: less than 6 medium strawberries, less than 1/2 cup melon, 1/3 of a banana, 9 grapes) at the workplace potluck because people feel bad to hear that there’s nothing I can eat
And when I fuck it up, whoops! There goes my next couple days!
So no, I would say pretty definitively that I am not tempted to cheat on my incredibly medically necessary diet by eating a slice of pizza.*
*gluten, garlic, onion

All the booze in all the gin-joints in this crazy world
Bruce Sterling Jan 22, 2019 9:04 AM
*Boy, they drink a lot in the classic movie "Casablanca." Granted, they've all got plenty to drink about, but gee whiz.
*I tried to keep up while watching. I had to do some research.
“CASABLANCA,” a classic movie set in a number of cafes and bars
Wine – English couple in the opening scene are drinking wine at the outside cafe when robbed by a sly pickpocket.
Cocktail – A desperado is waiting, waiting, waiting and drinks while lamenting that he will never get out of Casablanca.
Cocktail – Man tries to negotiate a passage out of Casablanca.
Wine – Man buys passage on a fishing vessel
Wine – Women trying to get more money for jewels
Cocktail – Englishmen are served by Sascha in Rick’s bar, and toasting cheerio.
Wine – Women gambling at Rick's while drinking
Champagne glass (already empty) – In front of Rick as he is toying with a chess problem
Wine – Ugarte drinks while bargaining with Rick.
Brandy (Boss’s Private Stock) – Sascha serves the good stuff to the spurned Yvonne, because Yvonne is Rick’s private stock.
Brandy – Captain Louis Renault drinks at Rick’s. He's a steady customer, since the bar also has loose women.
Brandy – the Italian Fascist Captain Tonelli drinks while harassed by Lieutenant Casselle in Rick’s.
Brandy – Rick gives some free brandy to Renault in Rick's office.
Veuve Cliquot 1926 – The top French champagne that Renault recommends to Strasser as the Nazi crassly gobbles caviar.
Wine – Ugarte has a glass when arrested
Wine – Resistance member Berger drinks wine at the bar as Laszlo and Ilsa walk into Rick’s.
Cointreaux – Laszlo orders two for himself and Ilsa as their first of many drink orders in Rick’s.
Champagne – Captain Renault orders “a bottle of the best” when invited by Laszlo to join him and Ilsa at their table.
Champagne Cocktail – Laszlo orders one as he joins Berger to conspire at the bar.
Champagne Cocktail – Renault orders for himself and Laszlo at the bar as Berger flees.
Champagne – Renault orders some for Rick when Rick joins the Laszlo party.
Bourbon – Rick drinks American bourbon to console himself for his former mistress Ilsa somehow walking into his gin-joint, of all the gin-joints in the world.
Champagne – Rick opens a bottle of champagne in Ilsa’s flashback room in their happy liaison in Paris.
Wine – Rick and Ilsa drink in Paris at the Cafe Pierre.
Champagne – Rick, Ilsa, and Sam hastily guzzle three bottles of Mumm Cordon Rouge as the Nazis occupy Paris.
“The Bourbon” – Ferrari demands his special bourbon in his own bar, the Blue Parrot, when Rick arrives to negotiate. Somehow, Rick refuses the bourbon, saying he never drinks in the morning.
Wine – The pickpocket toasts another sucker in Rick's before he robs him.
Brandy – Rick is drinking heavily on the second night in his club and Renault joins him for a brandy.
French 75s – The cocktail Yvonne orders when she comes in as the brand-new floozy of a German officer. A “French 75” is an American drink named after a caliber of French artillery in World War One.
Recipe of the “French 75” cocktail 2 oz French cognac 5 oz of chilled champagne 1.5 oz lemon juice 1 tsp. superfine sugar
Champagne – Strasser and fellow German officers are joined by Renault while living it up for the second night in Rick’s.
Brandy – Carl serves brandy to the Leuctags to salute their escape to America.
Brandy – Rick offers brandy to Annina (Bulgarian refugee girl) as she prepares to prostitute herself to Renault to save herself and her husband.
Cognac – Laszlo orders for himself and Ilsa the second night in Rick’s.
Brandy – Rick continues drinking recklessly at his own bar.
Champagne – After the publicly defiant singing of the Marseillaise, Lazslo and the French officers toast the humiliation of the Germans.
Champagne – Ilsa and Rick drink in Rick's room the second night.
Whisky – Rick doses Laszlo with medicinal whisky after Laszlo gets roughed-up while escaping a police crackdown on the Resistance.
Vichy Water – Renault pours himself a non-alcoholic drink of this after Rick has shot Strasser, but in a symbolic act drops Vichy into the trash.
THE END

more sephardic cooking tips :D :
compotes are super important for both savory and sweet sephardic dishes.
to make them add chopped fruit to a pot with any unwanted peels, pits, and seeds removed. then add a bit of sugar/honey and lemon juice to the fruit. if your fruit is naturally tart when cooked (such as lemons) you can skip the lemon juice. there's no exact measurements but about 1 tsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp sugar for every cup of fruit is a good guide.
turn the heat to medium high and let it come to a boil while slowly mixing and mushing. once it boils bring it down to a simmer and cook and mush it around til you've reached your desired consistency. the amount you cook it will determine whether you get more of a jam like texture or a pie filling texture. when its done you can add things like cloves or orange zest!
recipe for cranberry orange compote:
2 cups cranberry
1 tbsp orange zest
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp cinnamon (i rlly like cinnamon you may want less)
add cranberries, lemon juice, and honey to a pot
turn heat to medium high and slowly mix and mush it around until it boils. bring it to a simmer once it boils
simmer and continue to squish it around for 10-20 minutes until it's your preferred texture. i like it like a very chunky jam
remove from heat and add orange zest and cinnamon.
serve with pastries, bread, cheese, ice cream, etc.

1/2 cup light roast coffee grounds and 2 tbsp lemon juice
pretty self explanatory. simply mix this combo in a stainless bowl. after cleaning and soaking your feet in mildly hot water till softened, scrub with this mixture up to your calves. focus on your ankles and cuticles!! then let sit for about 5-10 minutes before rinsing (you can cover your feet with plastic wraps)
rinse with warm water and cover feet in your cream or lotion of choice.
i do this all year but the most during the summer since we’re wearing pretty open toed heels and sandals. 🎀
bright and glowing skin cream ❤︎︎
1 cup olive oil, 1 cup softened shea butter and a few drops of whatever essential/fragrance oil you choose
simply whisk or blend ingredients until whipped and soft
store in a mason jar and keep at low-room temperature
this after a long bath and good exfoliation, has my skin so soft and luminescent for over 24 hours 🎀
weightless scalp rinse ❤︎︎
1 tsp of lemon juice, 4 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1/2 cup of warm water
wash your hair paying close attention to your scalp
rinse well and apply the rinse to your scalp with a nozzle tip bottle
lightly scrub and rub your scalp with the rinse and leave on for about 3-5 minutes and rinse with warm water
be sure to moisturize your your strands and ends with whatever you choose
during the summer my hair gets extremely sweaty, and greasy and after a while a wash just doesn’t break it down well enough. this rinse ALWAYS flushes my scalp out so well 🎀
softening hair mask ❤︎︎
1 banana, olive oil, raw aloe vera gel, jojoba oil, honey
mash together well and coat slightly dampened hair in the mask
leave on for about 15 minutes (i go even longer sometimes)
rinse well with cool water
then wash and condition
my hair is always so soft and bouncy after i do this. i usually do it when getting ready to do a wash and go 🎀
