your parents believed you were destined for each other, though it would seem they hadn't taken into account your differing ideals.
CONTAINS : gn!reader, 1.2k wc, fluff, arranged!marriage au, basically arranged partners-to-strangers-to-lovers, jing yuan in denial until he can... no longer deny it
A/N : this was supposed to be a one paragraph brainrot. what happened.
Tumblr media
when you first heard of your prospective marriage partner, you didn't feel all that much for him. granted, there was only so much you could feel when listening to your parents ramble on. he was supposedly the son of a family friend — the ones who served the realm-keeping commission. he was set to graduate the academy in a few months, but that's all you really paid attention to before tuning out.
it wasn't long when you finally met, and you soon discovered you didn't mind him as much as you'd thought. well, that was until you took note of the clear lack of interest he held for you (for anything since you saw him, for that matter). he was aloof, never speaking more than a couple words before turning away and focusing on something else. with the boundaries clear alongside his lack of interest, you decided it wasn't worth the effort. your parents will just have to deal with it.
the next you heard of him was a few months later, the day after his graduation. apparently, he had enlisted into the cloud knights and was now part of their ranks.
your parents called it rebellious, you called it escaping his fate.
you don't see nor hear from him for a couple of years, instead finding out his achievements through gossipmongers and the occasional exaggerated tales you hear on your strolls. at least he's out there making a name for himself and doing what he loves, free and unshackled at the hands of fate.
he bumps into you when he's on patrol on the luofu, and at first he thinks it to be you trying to reach out again, only to be stumped at the uninterested — dare he say, annoyed — look you give him before stalking away in the opposite direction. but he shrugs it off thinking you had a bad day, returning to his duties in maintaining the peace of the luofu.
he runs into you again when you're out food shopping. it's a complete and utter coincidence you're both in the same place once more; you out on errands while he is on duty. oddly enough, he's doused in a wave of peace and content from just watching you from afar, the knowledge that he is capable of protecting you has him prouder than he'd like to admit.
that doesn't last for long, however, for you suddenly shift in place, your expression now more clear than it was earlier. jing yuan's heart stops then, plummeting into an abysmal pit as his eyes zero in on the new expression. your smile is far more beautiful than anything he could ever hope to imagine.
(in a trance, he wonders if you would ever direct that smile towards him.)
it's not until a little later he finds himself wondering about how you're faring, having half the mind to reach out through a letter before ultimately scrapping the idea. after all, he has to focus on his training, not over his arranged partner who probably doesn't even want him after that stunt he pulled all those years ago (he wouldn't either, if he were in your shoes).
and so he ignores the ache in his heart when he spots you from his peripherals. he ignores the urge to abandon his post and remove the bags from your grip and transfer them into his own. he ignores the desire to have a proper conversation with you, one that doesn't result in him being tongue-tied and you annoyed. he ignores the desperation surging through his nerves to hold your hand in front of everyone, wondering what your skin would feel like against his calloused palms.
he ignores it all, and he ignores it well.
so why is it now he finds himself breaking into a sprint after catching a glimpse of your side profile, ignoring the calls of his fellow knights in fear of losing you — the chance to finally speak to you and settle this once and for all because screw it. screw his hesitation, screw his yearning — screw it all!
when he finally reaches you he's at a loss, the words which once seemed so clear in his mind now fizzled out on the tip of his tongue. it's laughable, really, how he's praised for being quick-witted and yet he's reduced to nothing but a gaping mess in your presence. so he just stares at you with a heaving chest, your furrowed countenance making his heart stutter more than it really should.
it's not until you turn to leave that he panics, latching onto your wrist in a last-ditch attempt as a strangled "wait!" flies past his lips. you don't recoil from his touch, so he supposes that's a good thing, even if your glare is anything but that.
"i... i want to apologise for how we started off," he stutters, tripping over his words as he lays himself bare, exposing his heart for you to judge; for you to determine whether he is worthy enough to be by your side. there's so much more for him to say — so much more he wants, no, needs to get off his chest before you slip away yet again.
should he start off with how he could only speak a couple of words when you first met because he feared stumbling over his words and making a fool of himself? or should he say he wanted to build up his courage before facing you, and that part of his reasoning to join the knights was in hopes of finding that? (although it was a bit of a belated realisation, but no one's keeping track!) oh, or should he start off with—
"is that all you have to say?" your voice is smoother than he last remembers, though maybe it's the fact he's only ever heard you speak directly to him a couple of times, having heard your voice when on patrol more than he has face to face. if it weren't for you clearing your throat, jing yuan would have forgotten to answer.
he quickly snaps himself out of his trance, pushing down the embarrassed flush creeping up his neck. "if it's alright with you, would you..." he gulps in apprehension, chest constricting as he fumbles to regather his thoughts. he sucks in a breath and lifts his head to meet your gaze, revelling in your slightly widening eyes. "if it's alright with you, would you like to start over again?"
silence ripples between you after his words. can you hear his heart hammering behind his sternum? can you see his breaths quicken in anticipation? can you feel his hand become unbearably warm against the skin of your wrist?
oh god he hopes not.
but then your voice ceases his thoughts, your amused smile doing little to help his above mentioned symptoms. "i'm [name]. it's nice to meet you," your voice trails off a little, and he doesn't bother hiding the growing smile when he realises what you're doing.
and so he eagerly plays along, losing himself in the warmth you provide when you slip your hand into his.
"i am jing yuan. and... likewise, [name]."
(jing yuan decides the sensation of your skin against his calloused palms is unlike anything he's felt before. if he had to put it into words, he would say it's perfect.)

Request:
Could u write a fic ab Sully family x y /n reader? Where she lives with the sully family after her parents died, she gets taken by the colonel in the forest and is set up for bate because he knows she important to the Sully family.
a/n: the way I interpreted this, reader is taken by herself rather than what happens in the film where all of the kids get taken. I did use the rough layout of the scene for inspo but it does diverge from cannon ie Neteyam is with the kids when they get discovered. I hope that’s similar enough to what you mean. also reader is na’vi and around Neteyam’s age :p
Sullys stick together -The Sully family
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Catch me if you can!” Tuk yelled. Her little feet pattering along the branch of an enormous tree, while you and the rest of the Sully children chased her for sport.
She giggled delightedly, dodging out of the way of Lo’ak’s hand.
You really weren’t supposed to be out this far. Too close to the battlefield Jake had said. To close to where the sky people had already begun laying their claim on Pandora. Not if the Na’vi had anything to say about it.
But oh, it was such a beautiful day, almost no clouds in the sky, Kenten floated around you with the unfurled fan necks slowing their descent. Who wouldn’t want to get carried away with the day?
Suddenly, little Tuk ran into the trunk of a tree and startled back, falling on her butt. Kiri rushed forward and kneeled beside her, rubbing her back.
“Oh Tuk, are you ok? Are you hurt?” Kiri asked, ever the nurturer.
Tuk rubbed her nose and sniffed, tiny little tears blooming in her eyes. “Yeah, just got a fright, that’s all.”
Kiri helped the youngest sully stand up and continued to comfort her. Tuk reassured her sister that she was ok and Kiri relented. Tuk then wandered off to continue her little adventure.
“Wait, guys! Look!” Lo’ak whisper shouted.
Everyone looked to the direction he was pointing. Spider’s eyes widened and he even gasped a little.
“Wow, bro. That’s where my dad and your dad fought, right?” He asked Neteyam.
Neteyam didn’t answer right away, looking almost sheepish. “Yeah, bro.”
Lo’ak looked like he could barely keep still, a giddy grin upon his face.
“Well c’mon! Let’s have a look inside!” He was about to spring up when you put a firm hand on his shoulder.
“No way! We have no idea what’s in there, there could be some old tech still active, or…I don’t know, some angry beast!”
Despite not being a blood member of the Sulky family, after Jake and Neytiri took you under their wing and growing up with them for so long cemented your place among them as family. You were as much Neteyam’s sister as Tuktirey was.
Despite not being a blood member of the Sully family, they listened to you and cared about what you had to say, or that’s what you thought.
“That’s why we have our knives, skxawng.” And with that Lo’ak got you to sprint to the abandoned lab. Well, he would’ve had it not been for the tussling of the bushes opposite where you were all crouching.
“Sit down!” Neteyam gritted out, he grabbed his younger brother by the back of his neck and yanked him back down beside him. Lo’ak started to protest, talking about how it was probably some harmless animal. The sound of voices shut him down. Voices speaking in, english.
You were confused. Sky people should not have gotten this far out without drawing attention of the clan. Neteyam motioned for everyone to be still and you all watched on as the voices got closer.
Neteyam turned on his comms and started speaking to Jake. You could guess what he was saying; do not engage, retreat, stay low and out of sight. All very good suggestions in your opinion.
You kept your gaze intently to the direction of the voices, just waiting for them to pop out so you could get a good look at them and hopefully get some answers to your burning questions.
For better or for worse your questions were answered sooner than you thought.
Aside from the speaking english, the only thing that gave them away for being avatar and not Na’vi was the tactical gear. They were fully decked out. A few of them had arms decorated with tattoos and…sunglasses, Jake had called them.
They slowly approached the abandoned lab with guns raised and eyes everywhere. You all ducked down further once you realised you were way out of your league. Unarmed humans you might be able to handle. Armed humans, definitely more difficult but you had done it before, but avatar who were armed to the teeth along with the strength and speed of the na’vi made for a dangerous mix. You all watched as they searched through the building, overturning the insides of it.
“Come on, dad is on his way, he told us to fall back.” Neteyam’s urged all of you, gesturing into the forest behind him.
“What? No! This is our- my chance to prove to dad that I can help! I can be an asset to the people!”
Neteyam and Lo’ak continued to bicker when you noticed Kiri looking around, looking around desperately.
“Kiri?” you asked, “what’s wrong?”
The girl looked almost brought to tears when she looked up to you.
Her voice trembled, “Where is Tuk?”
Oh god.
She had disappeared before Lo’ak had picked up on the lab.
No one had seen her since.
Kiri clasped her hands around her mouth, she looked about as scared as you felt. God, little Tuktirey.
Abruptly, the group of avatars in front of you trained their guns on clump of trees of to your right. You had heard the sound too, a snap of a small branch or twig. Whatever had stepped on it was light.
Light enough to be Tuk.
The hostiles started to walk toward the noise. It’s like you were watching them in slow motion. Off to the side you could see Kiri’s eyes widen, horror flashed across her face. Spider had a similar expression, his eyebrows upturned in the centre. Lo’ak and Neteyam had stopped their fighting and just looked scared out of their own minds. Neteyam for once didn’t have a solution for everything.
So you did the only thing you could think of. A stupid, stupid thing looking back on it, a stupid thing parading itself as bravery. You scrunched your face, said a silent prayer to Eywa to deliver Tuk to safety and to give you strength for whatever was to happen.
You lept out from behind the log and dashed out of cover.
The avatars snapped their attention to you and raised their guns, but you kept charging towards them. Unsheathing the small knife you kept on you at all times, you cried out.
An avatar with short cropped hair on the top of his hair held out his hand and caught you around the neck. He didn’t hold you tight enough to strangle you, but tight enough that you couldn’t escape. He lifted you up into the air like you were fresh prey.
You struggled and snarled, trying to get your knife in any part of him that you could reach.
“Well, well, well, lookie here…” Quaritch chuckled darkly. He motioned for his squad to lowers their guns and the obeyed, observing their colonel with obvious amusement. It made you sick, you probably outwardly grimaced.
“I’ve seen you somewhere before.” He muttered. Quaritch made a show of ‘hmmm’ing and scratching his chin in fake thought. “Ah yes, i’ve seen your runnin’ around with the Sully spawn. You’ve been causin’ a lot of trouble, you and those other brats.”
You pretended not to understand him, opting to keep snapping and thrashing at him. It was not a complete lie; while Jake had taught you some basic english, you could probably only form the sentences of a small human child.
“The thing looks feral…” A teammate muttered from behind the colonel and the squad laughed.
“Don’t be fooled, soldier. These Na’vi can be quite clever when they put their heads together.” The colonel responded.
Thinking of your family behind you, you hoped and prayed that they had retreated back with Tuktirey.
Quaritch lowered you to the ground but before you tried to make a break for it, he wove his fingers through your hair and pulled hard.
You bit your teeth to stifle a scream and reached up to attempt to pry his hand off of your head.
“I know that there’s more of you back there, in the tree line, so you behave and my team will leave them be.” Fear flooded you at that, hearing that this man knew you weren’t alone. With a snap of his fingers he could have you all held hostages. So you stilled. You rested your hands back at your sides and begrudgingly set your gaze on him.
The avatar holding you smiled.
“Children o’ Sully! You listen here,” he spoke in english before switching into what seemed to be pretty broken na’vi, “you tell your father to come here, and this girl will be returned unharmed in exchange for his compliance.”
At least he didn’t know Neteyam had already been in contact with both Jake and Neytiri. If they just pretended to leave, Jake and Neytiri would think of a plan. Like they always do.
The bushes where everyone was hiding rustled. Quaritch tensed and the avatars behind you raised their guns once more, but the bushes stilled, no other came from it.
You let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding. You hoped that they had gone back home or at least taken Tuk back.
“Alright everyone, I’m guessing we can expect Jake Sully and his mate getting here pretty soon.” He drawled, turning to face his team. “Get ready for an attack. Be on your guard and keep your new eyes and ears sharp.”
-
Jake and Neytiri quietly dismounted their Ikran and armed themselves. Neytiri looked as if she was shaking with rage, her mouth downturned and her eyes looking for a threat.
“Hey, I’m sure they’re all fine. They’re tough kids, they’re our kids which make them tougher.” Jake attempted a joke but it died out in the silence when Neytiri did not respond.
They hadn’t landed far from where Neteyam told them they were and they were almost silent as they crept forward into the thicket.
A flutter of motion from they’re left has Neytiri’s bow drawn and aimed at the spot.
“Mom! It’s just us! It’s me, Lo’ak!” Lo’ak revealed himself from his hiding spot, arms raised and Neytiri breathed a watery sigh.
She rushed forward, took her baby in her arms, and held him tightly. Lo’ak wrapped his arms around her neck and squeezed. From behind him, Neteyam and spider emerged too, looking a little more embarrassed. Jake looked at his eldest and frowned.
“Where are your sisters?” He asked. Neytiri finally set Lo’ak down and gasped a little, noticing the absence of three of the Sully children.
“Kiri took Tuktirey back home and..” Neteyam looked ashamed, “yn was taken.”
His mother squeezed her eyes closed. Even if you weren’t born of her, you were her daughter. The idea of you being taken, as bait no less, had her heart in her stomach and her chest alight with anger.
Jake sighed and his face turned stony. “You all stay here, stay hidden, while we clean up your mess.” He whispered. The boys wilted and sunk back.
-
Your legs were starting to ache with how long you had been standing and your scalp with how hard the grip he had on your hair.
The man who had been holding you earlier passed you off to another one of his teammates, who seemed to take liberties in yanking your hair every once and a while.
The once clear sky had filled with clouds and rain trickled down through the canopy above you. No one had spoken in a long time, like everyone was holding their breath.
Suddenly, your ear twitched and you flicked your eyes to where you had heard…something. It could just be the sounds of the forest, an animal eating a plant or a ripe piece of fruit hitting the earth, but this sound sounded out of place, made my something not of the forest.
You caught a glimpse of something blue ducking behind the trunk of a wide tree. They had been holding what looked like a bow. Neytiri!
You shut your eyes and thanked Eywa for delivering you a mother as magnificent and brave as her.
Everything was still for a while and you wondered why Neytiri hadn’t taken a shot. Had she left? In an attempt to look like you were getting drowsy, you slumped a back into the avatar holding you. Your head hit his chin as you did so. He shoved you forward again, tugging your hair as he did so.
That’s why she hadn’t taken a shot, there was too much of a risk of hitting you. You looked up to where you had seen her before and caught her eyes. She had been staring at you intently the whole time, waiting for an opening.
So you gave her one.
You hoped she understood what you tried to say in a single look.
Saying another silent prayer to Eywa, you grabbed the arm that wasn’t gripping your hair, brought it up to your mouth, and bit down as hard as you could.
The man screamed, “You little bitch!”
Thankfully, on instinct he let go of your head and you had just enough time to duck out of the way before an arrow hit him straight between the eyes.
-
Twigs and leaves crunched beneath your feet and you made a break into the forest. You didn’t dare look back behind you. Gunshots rang through the air, some even whizzed past you.
Just as you jumped over the fallen trunk of a tree, an arm caught you from the side. You fought against it, landing a blow against whoever’s face had snatched you.
They groaned and let you go.
“Be calm! It’s just me!” Spider said as he held his now bloody nose.
You gasped and reached out to touch his face. “Oh Spider, I’m so sorry. You scared me!”
He shook his head a little before standing up, offering you a hand. “It’s fine, let’s go. Lo’ak and Neteyam already left.”
You took his hand and the two of you ran through the forest together. Never daring to look back.
-
When Jake and Neytiri returned, you knew you were all in for it.
You and your siblings listened outside of their tent, listening to them argue. You held Tuk to you, you didn’t want her to hear what they were saying but she insisted, so all you could do was let her know she wasn’t alone.
Jake stormed out of the tent and you all pretended to be looking at anything else. Smooth.
“yn, get over here.” He ordered. Lo’ak patted you on the back and walked away with the others.
“That stunt you pulled!? That’s not on, okay? It was stupi-!”
You interrupted him, “What I did was stupid, but I don’t regret it. If I hadn’t, Tuk would have been in my position and I couldn’t stand by and watch that happen, sir.” Jake was silent at that. The same stern look painted across his face and his eye twitched.
You stood your ground.
He stood his. For a while.
Until he broke.
The hard look he had softened and he just looked like a tired dad. You realised how stressed he must be, knowing that an old enemy was back and would go through his family to get him. He though he had lost Neteyam earlier this week, and now his daughter? You could have sympathy for him.
You approached him and wrapped your arms around his broad chest. “I’m sorry, dad. I’m sorry for worrying you.”
It felt as if his chest buckled at that and he returned your hug.
“Don’t ever scare me like that again. Alright, soldier?”
You smiled up at him and gave him a. mock salute.
“Yes, sir.”

how seventeen react to you kissing them and then running away
requested by anon: "Hello I saw that your request were open so I wanted to know if you could make a svt reaction to their s/o running away after kissing them ??"
notes: THIS IS THE CUTEST IDEA EVER. anon i am forever indebted to you pls this is adorable i loved it so much
masterlist
Tumblr media
seungcheol:
he doesn't think much of it when you walk over to him while he's on his phone on the sofa, thinking that you want to ask him something. hums in acknowledgement of your presence, then gets rlly surprised when you lean down super quick and peck him on the cheek. gets doubly surprised when you turn on your heel and sprint off, sitting there in shock for a few seconds before running after you, fully prepared to tackle you in his arms and demand even more kisses until he gets his fill
jeonghan:
you're probably taking a walk in the park, having dragged jeonghan out of the house. he's complaining, wanting to go back inside. that is, until you lean over (after having looked around to make sure there aren't too many people around) and kiss him full on the lips, right in the middle of walking. you pull away, but before he can say anything you're jogging down the path before breaking into a full-on sprint and he's yelling n running after you, wanting to know what that was about, partly aware that it's a ploy to get him to exercise but partly wanting to know if he can get more kisses
joshua:
to be really honest i think that, considering the man that joshua is, he'd just do the exact same thing. when you grab his face and kiss him rlly hard and then suddenly run away, he stares after you for a long moment before turning around and running off in the opposite direction. you turn back, wondering why joshua isn't running after you, and it turns out he's zooming down the street away from you and is basically a dot in the distance.  comes back for you eventually, especially if you send him loads of annoyed phone calls cz he does Not answer his texts
junhui:
thinks that something terribly dangerous is happening when you suddenly run away from him, and doesn't even look back to check if that's actually the case before he's screaming and running with you upstairs, thinking that someone has managed to set fire to the toaster again. realises it was just you being silly tho, and refuses to give you proper kisses for like a day until you apologise for making him scared and running away after giving him a kiss
hoshi:
is kinda a little dazed by the sudden kiss, so it takes him like 3 whole seconds to realise you're not in front of him anymore. he can hear you laughing from the other room though, and like the lovesick idiot he is, he probably just chuckles and touches his lips, staring out of the door that you ran out of with a sappy sweet smile on his face. goes to find you and kisses the hell out of you while teasingly asking if you ran away bc you became shy?? huh??? were you shy after kissing him???? <3
wonwoo:
you're not running away from this guy lmao nice try. honestly you'll probably try to do this like 5 times and fail, bc he keeps holding your waist or your cheek or your wrist whenever you kiss him like the goddamn heart-flutterer that he is. even if you're placing the fastest kiss on his cheek known to man, you're never going to be fast enough to run away bc somehow he has a hand on your arm and he's giving you a longer, deeper kiss and oh okay maybe you don't want to run after all—
woozi:
kinda just blinks there stunned, utterly confused about what just happened. finds you really cute when you pop your head back into the room when he didn't follow you tho, cz you look so adorable when you're all disappointed. tells you to do it again and that he'll definitely chase you this time, which he does, and with great vigor, and suddenly you're running for your life through the house and onto the streets with woozi sprinting after you
minghao:
he's reading when you come up to him, and he offers his cheek expectantly bc he's honestly gotten used to you just kissing him randomly now. sits there still looking at his book for a good few seconds when you speed away after pecking him on the cheek, before setting it down with a sigh and running off to find you. pretends to be annoyed and exasperated, is secretly endeared. definitely does the same thing to you a few months down the line
mingyu:
he's impressed by the way you managed to make his heart flutter ngl, bc the job of being the flirt is meant to belong to him but you just did it so well. grins after you like an utter fool, and after he catches up with you he's sweeping you in his arms and kissing you even more. tells you often that that was the sweetest, most heart-fluttering thing you could have ever done (as if he likes getting left behind???). probably melts if you do it again pls this man is actually so whipped
dokyeom:
when you lean in and kiss him very very gently and sweetly, he doesn't think anything of it, smiling and readily responding. but when you pull away, laugh, and then start running off, he's shocked and immediately starts whining, asking why did you start running away that's so mean :((( is complaining the entire time he's chasing after you. accidentally loses you, ends up playing impromptu hide and seek. hug this baby and give him even more kisses afterwards tho otherwise he's going to be sulking at you for days
seungkwan:
after kissing him so nicely and gently, you have the audacity to just giggle and run off??? keeps yelling after you that you're sooo dead if he manages to catch you. almost trips over his own feet, gives up chasing you and just phone calls you n begs for you to come back and kiss him properly bc at the end of the day he's still a smol baby n he needs real kisses and not just whatever that was </3
vernon:
the most confused. thinks that something must have happened, looks around confusedly but sees nothing wrong. then thinks that he was the one who did something wrong, but he's never had you run away like that before?? takes him a whole thirty seconds of thinking before he starts jogging after you to ask what was that about. gets all sulky when you tell him you did it Just Because, won't talk to you until you offer to buy him food
chan:
if you run away he's just going to laugh, if i'm being really honest. blinks after you, and then he's grinning and waving and yelling "bye! have fun!" as if you're running late to some important meeting. he's on his phone when you finally circle back to him, and just grins when you whine that he didn't react properly. apologises and tells you he'll react well next time, asks if you wanna go get something to eat and then, cz he is definitely a prank reuser, he kisses you on the cheek then runs off himself, getting you to chase him

Hurt IV
Hardersson x Child!Reader
Part of The Big Adventures Universe
Summary: Morsa gets hurt
Tumblr media
You're sitting in the stands when it happens.
Momma's still not back in the squad so you're not sitting on the bench. You enjoy sitting on the bench more than sitting in the stands but at least you get to eat hotdogs in the stands so that's a win.
You're munching away when Morsa goes down. You stop chewing to stand up properly so you can see and you will Morsa to get back up.
She doesn't.
She just kind of rolls around on the ground clutching at her foot.
"What's wrong with Morsa?" You ask as if Momma would just know.
"It's okay," Momma says though her tight smile says she doesn't quite believe herself," Morsa's being a bit dramatic. She'll get back up, you'll see."
Only Morsa doesn't get back up.
She has to be helped off and you see a stretcher being prepared.
Momma takes your hand and walks you over to the barrier.
"Sam!" She calls out to Scottish Sam," Sam!"
Sam turns, getting up from the bench. She takes you as you're lifted over the barrier.
"Look after her, okay?" Momma hands her your bag. "I'll grab her in a bit."
"Go," Sam says," I've got her."
You're still in Sam's arms as you watch Momma sprint the opposite direction, to where Morsa's being loaded up onto a stretcher. She's crying and you kind of feel like crying too.
"Magda's strong," Sam says as she takes her seat back on the bench," She'll be okay."
"Morsa's crying," You reply bluntly," Don't lie. I'm not stupid."
Sam winces a little but you pay no attention because you stand up to see if you can catch a glimpse of Momma and Morsa. The stretcher is moving away now and they're holding hands.
You're glad that Morsa has Momma to look after her until you get there.
"Hey." Sam taps your leg. "Let's sit down, huh? You could fall."
You grunt in frustration but do as she says. You've no interest in the match anymore and grow a bit restless. You keep turning your head around, hoping to see Momma and Morsa returning but they never do.
Sam rummages through your bag to find something to entertain you.
"What is this?" She asks," A fancy straw? It's kind of big."
"That's my epipen," You say and Sam immediately drops it into your bag like it's burned her," Because Australian Sam gave me bad kiwi and I almost died. Momma makes sure I always have it."
Scottish Sam laughs uncomfortably. "Well...I'll make sure not to give you kiwi then."
"Or banana or avocado because those can kill me too." You think for a moment as your stomach rolls. "Is my Morsa dying?" Your bottom lip trembles. "Is that why she's not back yet?"
"No!" Sam says quickly, shaking her head firmly," She's just talking to the medics. They're very chatty. That's why they're taking so long."
You accept that Morsa's not dying but not really that the medics are chatty. You keep looking behind you all the way up until halftime.
Sam takes you back to the changing room but you dig your heels in all the way because you don't want Momma and Morsa to go back onto the pitch and not know where you've gone.
This whole situation is very worrying and you sullenly take refuge in Morsa's cubby because it's nice and small and smells just like her.
"Lea?" You ask as the woman mooches around nearby," When are my mummies coming back?"
She winces a little. "Sorry, kid," She says," I'm not too sure. Soon, though. It'll be soon."
You sigh a big sigh and huff, reaching out for Lea's hand as she gets ready to go back out. "Is my Morsa going to be okay?"
She winces again and pats you on the head. "She'll be just fine. She'll be back on her feet very soon."
In the second half, Sam has to go on so she hands you straight over to Sarah who has the unenviable job of watching you have a complete and utter breakdown.
You've decided that it's been too long, that Momma and Morsa have been away too long for Morsa to be just fine like the girls are telling you. You curl up into a little ball in your seat and sob.
Sarah looks like she's about to cry too as she wildly looks to the other girls on the bench for help before deciding that the best thing to do would be to pick you up.
It's pretty hard on her part because you won't uncurl from your protective ball and she kind of has to pace around with a little girl whose not willing to give her even an inch of help in it.
"Hey."
You stop crying when you hear Momma speak.
She's standing by the barrier.
"I can take her now," Momma says to Sarah," I'll take her back to see Magda."
"It's fine," Sarah lies," We've got everything under control."
"I'll take her," Momma insists," Magda's been asking for her."
"Oh, thank god," Sarah breathes out before holding you out for Momma to take along with your bag.
"Is Morsa okay?" You sniffle as Momma begins to walk back to where she disappeared too.
"She will be," Momma says," She's a little sad right now and she needs some Princesse cuddles to make her feel better. And I think some Morsa cuddles will make you feel better too."
You nod.
Morsa's still sitting on the stretcher when you arrive. She's not crying anymore but you can see where the tears use to be.
Momma settles you by Morsa's side and you look down to see her bandaged foot.
"What happened?"
"I hurt my foot," Morsa says. She crowds you into her space with a hand between your shoulders, allowing you to curl up properly against her as she rests her chin on the top of your head.
"Is it really bad?"
"I have to have surgery soon," Morsa says," But it'll be very quick."
You think for a moment before nodding, making sure to hug Morsa nice and tight so she knows that you're here for her.
"It'll be okay," You say," Because me and Momma are going to look after you."

caught on camera II a.putellas x sister!reader
"where are you going? the field is that way hermana." your sister grabbed your wrist as you started to head in the opposite direction. "good job alba! so smart." you cooed like you would to a dog, patting her condescendingly on the head.
"i am going to the bathroom! relajarse." you rolled your eyes and pulled your arm free. "tell mami." you nodded to the older woman who had practically sprinted down to the barrier already, embracing your eldest sister proudly after another big win.
"tell mami." alba mocked with a roll of her eyes, turning on heel and heading away as you did the same, watching cautiously that she was not paying attention as you turned and started to head toward the away section instead.
pulling out your phone you grinned at the influx of messages, slipping it into your pocket and ignoring the wary gazes of the oppositions fans who had long begun filing out of the stadium given their teams crushing 6-0 loss in the el classico.
"hola culer!" you looked up meeting familiar eyes and rounded up the stairs making a beeline for the brunette who sat waiting for you with a smirk. "hola madridista."
"alba! where is pequeña?" alexia frowned noticing your absence as the teams family and friends all stood littered around the field, her younger sister shrugging and going back to her conversation with some of her teammates.
"mami?" alexia questioned the older woman. "in the bathroom alexia, she is fine." her mother chuckled at the persistence, alexia humming and turning around hearing a sharp bark of laughter right behind her.
"i think i found her amiga and she is not in the bathroom." mapi sung out and grinned wolfishly, alexia frowning at the defender who nodded upwards and pointed her hand, alexia's eyes following her outstretched finger.
and sure enough there you were not in the bathroom, but rather on the jumbo screen as the cameras panned the audience, locked in on the away zone where you sat practically in the lap of a tall brunette wearing a real madrid jersey.
"who is that!" alexia spat out in shock as you leaned in and pressed your lips sweetly to the strangers, grinning and whispering something in her ear as the two of you were far too caught up in one another to clock you were on screen.
"this is too good." alba overheard and also followed her sisters gaze, lips curling upward as she scrambled for her phone and snapping a picture she wasted no time texting it to you.
"joder." you breathed out as your eyes flickered downward to your phone on your knee which pinged with a new message. "whats wrong amor?" your girlfriend questioned with a concerned frown as you handed her the phone, chancing a look downward and wincing as your eyes locked with your sisters.
alba was looking more than amused, cheshire like grin plastered on her lips as she drew her finger across her throat repeatedly and you paled as she pointed to your eldest sister who indeed looked ready to murder you.
"oh no." your girlfriend mumbled and you glanced back at her to catch her gaze facing downward at her cousin who also looked ready to kill, misa's fists clenched by her side as she glared up at the two of you having seen it herself on the jumbo screen.
"do you think its better or worse if we run?" you winced, moving off of her as she squeezed your hand. "worse, definitely worse cariño." your girlfriend sighed as you broke apart, you heading down towards your sister as sofía headed off toward her cousin.
you were overly cautious with your steps, hovering by the barrier as alexia remained unmoving, arms crossed and eyes burning a hole right in your head. "ven aquí!" the blonde ordered angrily pointing in front of her as you sighed and hopped over the barrier.
"mami!" you called out gaining the older womans attention, shooting to her side and playing the baby card, mumbling in her ear and hiding behind her as alexia scoffed and mapi sent you a somewhat proud grin over her shoulder.
"alexia! leave your sister be." eli warned sternly as you peeked over the top of her head and clung tightly onto her, refusing to make a move any closer to your eldest sister who continued to angrily gesture for you to go to her.
however your luck could only last for so long as eli was called by a few of the other girls parents for a group photo, tugging her hand free of your grip with a roll of her eyes as she strode off.
now defenseless you turned to face your sisters who were still a few feet away, giving them a charming smile as mapi stood behind them now drawing her finger over her throat with a shake of her head as ingrid shoved her with a frown.
"hermana's! why don't we just all talk about this like grown ups?" you suggested, starting to back up as they both advanced toward you. "sí nena, like grown ups. so come here and we will talk then." alexia spoke, dangerously calm but still continuing on toward you.
"we can talk from here, space is good. people need space!" you gestured to the rapidly disappearing gap between the three of you. you stumbled as suddenly you backed up right into a body, strong hands steadying you as you sighed in relief.
though as you looked and realized who had hands on you, your face paled.
"hola misa." you smiled nervously, your girlfriend hovering behind her with a guilty grimace. "hola chica." the keeper spoke, tone steely and glare unwavering as you managed to tug her hands off you and step back.
backing up even further now with all three girls still advancing, alexia's gaze strayed toward your girlfriend whose eyes widened seeing the obvious anger in them as both of you moved a little closer to one another.
you liked to think you knew each other quite well after nearly six months of being with one another, so when you and the brunette shared a look, you both knew exactly what the other was thinking without a single word needing to be said.
"vamos!" you leapt over the barrier as she did the same, misa lunging for your ankle as alexia tried to grab at your girlfriend but both of you managed to get up and over the barrier without being caught.
"didn't we say this was worse?" sofía laughed a little as you joined hands and sprinted up the stairs not chancing a look back as you made a beeline for the first exit in sight.
"sí,but this way we can at least have one last dinner together before we are both murdered." you grinned, the two of you mumbling apologies as you bumped into people as you sprinted through the stadium and headed for the exit, ignoring the warning yells from security to slow down.
~
"you are sure you don't want me to stay over preciosa?" sofía questioned softly, hand interlocked with hers over the middle console of her car as she parked out the front of your building.
"no cari. if i know my sisters the moment the sun is up they will be knocking my door down with a million questions." you chuckled with a roll of your eyes.
"do you really want to stay over or do you just want to avoid your cousin?" you teased with a smile, the taller girl pushing your head affectionately before leaning in to press a gentle kiss against your lips.
"i'll call you tomorrow?" she questioned as you slipped out of her car, resting your forearms on the open window with a nod, stretching your neck to peck her lips a few more times.
she waited until she could see you were safely inside your building before taking off, your chest heaving a little as you hurried up the few flights of stairs between you and the promise of a hot shower and bed.
however as you unlocked your front door, it would seem that was not in the cards for you just yet.
you hummed the last song which had been playing on the radio in the car as you kicked off your shoes and dropped your keys in the bowl by the door, but turning around you let out a scream and nearly fell over.
"hola hermanita." alexia spoke calmly, sat facing the front door on an armchair as alba was sprawled lazily across your sofa behind her. "a la mierda! did you break in to my apartment loca?" you accused with a scowl.
"not breaking and entering if you have keys chiqui." alba smiled holding up her hand, twirling a ring of keys around on her finger. "you stole mami's spare key?" you narrowed your eyes with a scoff, slowly starting to walk toward your room.
"no we have our own." alexia answered honestly as your eyes widened. "i did not okay that!" you huffed glaring at both of them who seemed unfazed.
"well then if you have keys idiotas, let yourselves out." you rolled your eyes and made a break for your room, but you weren't fast enough as strong arms wrapped around you and held you back.
"joder ale get off!" you groaned trying to break free, landing a kick on alba's shin who swore at you and smacked the back of your head as alexia shoved you down into the armchair she'd previously been sitting in.
"no no pequeña you wanted to talk like grown ups, so lets talk like grown ups!" alexia announced, pushing you back down as you tried to stand, giving up with a defeated sigh and glaring at both your older sisters stood in front of you.
"really?" your eyes narrowed in disbelief as alba flicked on the reading lamp and pointed it at you. "what is this, an interrogation?" you mocked, crossing your legs under you to get more comfortable.
"i don't have to tell either of you idiotas anything." you huffed stubbornly, wincing as alba moved the lamp to flash right in your eye. "watch your mouth." alexia warned, forever stern which only made you roll your eyes again, another pet hate of hers.
"we let you enjoy your little dinner at hectors pequeña, time to start talking." alexia's words had your eyes widening. "you are still tracking my phone? mami made you promise to delete that stupid app!" you growled with a glare.
"don't know why you're laughing idiota, she tracks yours too." you huffed at alba wiping the grin right off her face. "ale!" the girl pushed your sister who waved her off mumbling about it not being the time.
"who is she?" alexia asked firmly, eyes burning protectively as you stayed quiet, frowning a little in confusion as alexia nodded and alba walked off for a moment.
"really? that won't work alexia i am not five anymore." you scoffed as alba returned with a small very scruffy bear in her hands, something alexia herself had given you the day you were born.
however it was also used by her as a means of getting any and all information out of you that she could when you were much younger, which was normally after alba had stolen something from her, hidden a secret or snuck out.
"pequeña. tell me!" a fourteen year old alexia warned sternly, towering over a four year old you sat on the edge of her bed clutching at the bear which never seemed to leave your side. "don't know!" you lied, your eldest sisters eyes narrowing, you always were a terrible liar.
"yes you do. where is she?" alexia asked again, patience thinning as you shrugged. "i know you do pequeña because you are always hiding by the doors listening to everyone when you are not supposed to. do you want me to tell mami you are lying?" alexia raised an eyebrow as you stayed silent and she sighed.
"fine. if you will not tell me then mr bear can go for a swim in the toilet." alexia shrugged, easily grabbing it from you and turning as you leapt off the bed and latched onto her leg.
"alba's at the park!" you revealed, holding your arms out for the bear which alexia kept captive in her grip. "and she took my ball with her, sí? the special blue one." alexia asked as you nodded instantly and alexia scoffed.
picking you up and giving you back the bear she yelled out for your mami who was in the kitchen. "ale! do not be so rough with your sister." eli warned as alexia placed you to sit down on the counter, again snatching the bear away from you.
"mami she won't give it back!" you whined as alexia pushed your hands away where they reached for the bear. "alexia give it back to her." eli sighed tiredly, stirring lunch on the stove.
"tell her what you just told me chiqui and you can have mr bear back." alexia promised as you frowned and she raised an eyebrow daring you not to do as she asked.
"alexia said she would make mr bear swim in the toilet." you parroted as your older sister winced, eli flicking her with the tea towel she had in hand. "alexia putellas segura just because you are older does not mean you get to pick on your sisters! you know better than that." the older woman warned, grabbing the bear from her hand and placing it back in yours.
"not that! the other part about alba sneaking out." alexia groaned, rubbing her hip where the towel had connected. "alba is in her room." eli frowned as alexia shook her head. "no. but she is supposed to be because she is grounded!" alexia reminded.
"tell me where your sister is please hija." eli asked softly, brushing your hair from your face. "at the park, snuck out her window." you hugged the bear tightly, legs swinging a little where they were unable to touch the ground.
"and she stole my ball! the one from the barça final that papi got for me." alexia added on with a frown as eli sighed again, moving past her toward your other sisters room.
unfortunately for alba she had never had the best luck or timing, so to be caught climbing through her window again right as her door swung open wasn't all that surprising.
"you told on me again? you're such a baby!" alba's head popped out of her doorway, her eyes narrowing as alexia stepped protectively in front of you, your hand gripping her t-shirt as eli pulled her back into the room to keep yelling.
"hey. wanna watch a movie pequeña?" alexia turned around, picking you up again and heading for the sofa. "not mad at me anymore?" you questioned with a small frown making your older sister smile and kiss your cheek.
"no i'm not mad at you hermanita, i'm mad at alba. you might eavesdrop but at least you don't steal!" she tickled your stomach making you grin as she collapsed into the lounge and sat you on her lap.
"here's your stupid ball!" alexia's hand snapped up to catch the small ball hauled at her before alba's door slammed shut again, eli warning her not to do it again unless she'd like to add another week onto the grounding she was already facing from cutting off a small lock of alexia's hair last week.
you of course knew she only did it because alexia hadn't allowed alba to hang out with her and her friends and locked her out of her room, but neither of your sisters had caught you eavesdropping that time.
"no? okay." alexia shrugged as your other sister grabbed a pair of scissors from her pocket and raised an eyebrow. "you wouldn't." you called their bluff with narrowed eyes, crossing your arms. "but do you want to risk that pequeña?" alba smirked as your jaw clenched and she held the scissors up to one of the bears arms.
all three of you locked in a staring contest alexia's lips curled into a smug smile seeing the internal battle evident on your face as alba slowly started to close the scissors.
"fine! she's misa's cousin, her name is sofía." you gave in as they both knew you would, sharing a smug look which made your blood boil. "how long have you been seeing her?" alexia questioned, scissors still held up to the small bear.
"six months. we met at the world cup, she was there with misa's whole family." you answered honestly as both older girls eyes widened. "six months! you've kept this a secret for six months?" you caught the bear which alba tossed at you.
"yes. and this should tell you exactly why i didn't tell you!" you scoffed, both of them, alexia in particular, ridicously overprotective when it came to your dating life, something which caused nothing but arguments with the three of you.
"she's twenty three? she is too old for you!" alba showed her phone to alexia who fixed you with a murderous glare. "you're stalking her instagram? seriously?" you groaned as your head thumped back against the armchair.
"i'm twenty! which means i can date whoever i want and it is none of either of your businesses. so stay out of it and stay out of my life before i shut you both out completely!" you warned standing up to your feet.
"privacy is a luxury and not one that you get as the baby of the family pequeña. and if you think we're bad? wait till we tell mami!" alba threatened as alexia hummed her agreement, attention focused on alba's phone as she no doubt stalked every digital footprint she could find for your girlfriend.
"mami already knows puta. she's met sofía plenty of times!" it was your turn to smile smugly as that gained alexia's attention back and she handed alba the phone. "mami knows?" alexia's eyes narrowed as you nodded.
"sí. and she likes her! now don't you have a girlfriend of your own to get home to ale instead of pestering me about mine?" you rolled your eyes, disappearing to use the bathroom and return your bear to its rightful position in your room, making a quick phone call as you did.
"-yes amor. i will leave right now i promise, i'll be home soon." you smiled as alexia hung up her phone, once more looking ready to murder you. "you called olga? you are a rat!" your eldest sister growled as you shrugged.
"now since you have keys, please see yourselves out!" you waved toward your door, neither of them moving as you collapsed into the lounge.
"this is not over hermanita." alexia warned as you waved her off and grabbed the remote from the coffee table, hearing her call out that she loved you making your eyes roll as your door closed.
"hey!" you frowned as the remote was snatched from your hand before you could click a single button. "get out." you groaned, trying to shrug off alba who sat down next to you, leaning her whole body weight into you and slinging an arm over your shoulders.
"didn't alexia leave?" you sighed as alba browsed through the tv trying to find something to watch. "she did, but i'm staying. sister sleepover!" alba squealed and pinched your cheeks again as you shoved her off.
"do i have a choice?" "no alexia drove me here chiqui so you're stuck with me, lucky you!"
"i wish i was an only child." you grumbled as your sister finally shuffled away and gave you some space, her legs swinging to sit in your lap as she settled for a love island re-run.
"all the secret girlfriends you could have nena and you choose a real madrid suppporter. you are a disgrace to blaugrana!"
~
"amor do you want one egg or two?" you called out, your girlfriend calling back two from the living room where she was curled up watching a movie as you cooked breakfast.
having just taken them off the stove you jumped a little in surprise as your phone began to ring, though seeing it was only alexia you rolled your eyes and let it ring out.
an avid fan of calling to ask the most simple question which could have just been a text, nine in the morning was too early for all of that as you plated up the rest of the food and tucked your phone into your back pocket.
"if you spill a single drop of this on my lounge you're not getting anything for at least three weeks sof." you warned very carefully handing the taller girl a plate who grinned.
"princesa last time you made that threat you lasted two days before you gave in." sofía teased, pressing a few grateful kisses to your cheek as you sat down beside her.
you hadn't even lifted your fork to your mouth before your phone rang again and you put your plate down with a sigh, pushing your hips up and grabbing it out from your back pocket you frowned seeing this time it was olga.
assuming it must be something serious you clicked accept, walking out of the room and sending your girlfriend a reassuring look before you did, concern written on her face as she watched you go.
"hola? olga? está todo bien?" you asked worriedly, sitting on the edge of your bed. "hola hermana, todo va bien." your sister spoke as you sighed a little in relief but then that quickly turned to annoyance.
"why are you calling me from your girlfriends phone ale?" you accused with a roll of your eyes. "because you did not answer me and i need to talk to you!" your sister answered as again you sighed and told her to get on with it.
"i need to meet sofía." your eldest sister spoke somewhat sternly, though there was the sound of a smack and mumbling before she cleared her throat.
"i would like to meet your girlfriend please nena." alexia corrected and a smile settled on your lips already picturing olga sat beside her trying to coach her through this, much more in touch with her emotional intelligence and empathy than your sister was.
"no." you tested her reaction, hearing her huff in annoyance and more mumbling in the background. "i do not have bad intentions pequeña. alba and mami both said she makes you happy, i would like to see that too por favor." alexia spoke a little coldly though you knew there was no real malice in her tone.
you'd not exactly had much choice in your older sister meeting your girlfriend, alba having caught wind that sofía was coming over with you to your family home for a dinner just with eli she'd cancelled plans with her own friends and 'dropped in for a visit'.
though with strict warning from eli to behave she did for the most part, taking sofía aside only for a moment when you'd used the bathroom to warn her about what would happen should she ever choose to hurt you.
which was not dissimilar to the speech you were given from misa when you'd finally fronted up to meeting her after the runaway after the el classico.
now it was just alexia left who had been pressuring you ever since about wanting to meet your girlfriend, however with threats her main source of communication you'd held firm in keeping as much about your love life hidden away from her as you could.
"i would like to get lunch today if you are both free, so i can meet her properly." alexia spoke a little softer now as you glanced over to your girlfriend whose eyes were now glued back to the tv as everything seemed okay with you.
"only if olga comes." you heard a snicker of laughter in the background at that as alexia sighed deeply. "yes, olga will be there. so you will come?" she questioned as now you sighed.
"sí. text me when and where, and we will be there."
~
"hey. cariño it will be fine!" you smiled at the way your girlfriends knee bounced nervously, eyes darting about as you parked up a few shops down from the cafe where alexia had asked you to meet.
"i know." sofía exhaled quietly as your hand rested on her knee to still its bouncing. "we're in public mi cielo, she cannot kill you with witnesses." you teased to try and ease the mood a little more achieving a smile on the taller girls face.
"vamos amor, sooner we get there the sooner we leave." you patted her leg and cut off the engine as your girlfriend nodded. "plus, pretty sure i promised you whatever you want once we get back if you came." you smiled suggestively.
"mm you did, i won't forget that preciosa." sofía grinned, leaning over to kiss you softly before the two of you left the car, walking hand in hand as you already spotted the back of your sisters head.
"hola pequeña." olga saw you before alexia did, standing to pull you into a hug and kiss your cheek as sofía hovered just behind you, clearly unsure what to do. moving to hug your sister you saw olga step forward to greet your girlfriend with a kind smile.
naturally you didn't push her to hug alexia, though you saw something flicker in your eldest sisters eyes when sofía pulled your chair out for you before sitting down herself.
"ale, stop it." you warned as the eldest putellas's hazel eyes narrowed in on your girlfriend, clearly sizing her up as you grabbed her hand beneath the table and squeezed gently.
"sofía, alexia. alexia, sofía." you introduced the two as your girlfriend smiled nervously and alexia hummed. though you didn't miss olga drive an elbow into her side, sending her a firm look as you hid your smile at the subtle gesture.
"i like your eh...tattoos." alexia started awkwardly, nodding to your girlfriends arms where several inked pieces of art were scattered. "gracias. you are a very good footballer and captain, misa speaks very highly of you." sofía complimented sincerely.
"how is she?" alexia asked as her eyes never left the younger girl across from her. "still licking her wounds from the loss, but good." a small smile settled on your sisters lips at that answer.
"and when we play them again, you would wear a barça jersey if my sister asked you to?" alexia questioned, holding up a hand to silence your protest before you could make them.
"i love your sister but i also love my cousin, so i would have to say no." the brunette answered honestly as you gave her hand a gentle squeeze beneath the table again.
"good, family is important." alexia nodded her approval at the answer and you watched your girlfriends shoulders sag a little in relief.
"which is why if you so much as harm one hair on my baby sisters head you will find yourself in a world of pain chica, and there would not be a corner of the world you could hide from me, i promise you that." alexia spoke casually as both yours and olga's eyes widened.
"alexia!" you both hissed in disapproval, your foot lashing out to kick her shin as olga again dug her elbow into her side. "what? i promised i would be nice, that was a very nice warning no?" alexia defended herself with a huff.
the waitress interrupted before anyone else could speak, dropping down some menu's and advising you ordered inside at the counter.
a momentary silence lapsed as you glanced up to see your sister and her girlfriend staring at one another, clearly communicating something as you chuckled quietly and leant your head on your own girlfriends shoulder.
"what are you thinking amor?" you questioned as she pointed to a few things she was tossing up between. "if i get the pasta and you get the chicken, go halves?" you suggested as she nodded happily, pecking your lips on reflex but clearly shrinking under your sisters gaze.
though catching olga's eyes she rolled them and nudged alexia, motioning her to focus on the menu as you smiled.
"vale amiga, lets go order." olga spoke a minute later, addressing your girlfriend who stood and followed after her into the cafe leaving you alone with your sister. "you didn't have to threaten her, alba already did that!" you rolled your eyes as she only smiled.
"yes i did, i am scarier than alba." alexia shrugged as you shook your head. "more unhinged maybe." you mumbled though if your sister heard she chose not to mention it.
"i like her." alexia spoke after a moment as surprise flashed across your face. "you are happy pequeña, and so long as she treats you right that is all i ever want. you would not have kept this a secret if you weren't." the blonde spoke softer now, smiling sincerely.
"i also wouldn't have kept it a secret if you and alba weren't so overprotective and crazy." you warned making the older girl chuckle. "you're the baby of the family pequeña, thats our job." alexia shrugged shamelessly.
"now when is she coming over to mami's to watch all the home videos we have of you?" "don't you dare."

Bucky was standing at the bottom of the walkway that led to the main doors of the school. Despite the warmth that came from the late spring weather, he still had on his leather jacket and gloves. He was far from the only person standing out and waiting for the final bell to ring, but he still felt like he stood out. No matter how much time went by that was a feeling he had yet to shake.
He pried his eyes off the cracked concrete beneath his boots when the bell rang, shortly followed by the front doors of the school being pushed open by dozens upon dozens of kids desperate to get out and head home. Many of them were sprinting off towards the buses, but some were making a direct line right where Bucky was standing with the rest of the parents and other family members. He kept his eyes peeled, but he still didn’t see who he was looking for.
A couple minutes ticked by and for a moment he wondered if he had shown up at the wrong place, or on the wrong day. He was about to take his phone out of his pocket when the front door opened up again. He breathed out a sigh of relief when he saw Morgan walking out, jacket tied around her waist and backpack settled on her shoulders. She was looking up at the woman next to her, the two of them talking as the woman balanced a child who looked like she was just barely old enough to be in kindergarten on her hip.
When Morgan looked away, she immediately saw Bucky. A smile broke out across her face as she threw a hand up to wave, an expression and gesture that he returned. He took a few steps so that he met her right where the walkways met. She walked right up to him, holding both hands out in closed fists. Bucky’s grin widened slightly as he held his fists out as well, tapping their knuckles together before the both pulled their hands back, making an exploding sound and gesture as they did.
Once they completed their ritual, Bucky turned his attention to you. You were smiling at the sight of the two of them, but he could see the questioning look still lingering in your eyes. “You must be Uncle Bucky, then?” you asked, although the answer seemed fairly obvious.
He chuckled, looking briefly at Morgan before he returned his attention back to you. “Yeah, but just Bucky is fine.”
He held out his hand for you to shake, and you did so carefully so as not to disturb the sleeping child on your hip as you gave him your name in return. “Hope you don’t mind me bringing her out.” You shifted your weight from one foot to the other. “Just like to make sure that everything’s alright when someone new is picking up one of my students.”
“I tried to tell her you weren’t new,” Morgan interjected, her sarcasm making her sound so much like her father despite only being nine years old.
You shook your head with a knowing smile. “New to me, then,” you corrected.
“It’s fine,” Bucky said with a small shake of his head. “I get it.”
“I appreciate that.” You looked back and forth between the two of them, an odd but fitting pair. “I’ll let you two go. It was nice to meet you, Bucky.” You shifted your gaze to the young girl standing beside him. “And I will see you on Monday, Miss Morgan.”
Morgan was already saying goodbye and turning to head off towards Bucky’s care by the time the words left your mouth. Bucky, however, was still staring at you, looking at the way you were balancing the little girl on one hip while you had her backpack on the opposite shoulder, your own bag hanging in the crook of your arm. He knew that this was probably far from the first time you left the school building with your hands full but he still felt like it was wrong to not at least offer to help.
“Do you need help with—”
“I’ve got it,” you reassured him with a smile, taking a step towards the parking lot, “but thank you.”
He didn’t try to offer again, taking your word for what it was worth. Turning, he easily collapsed the distance between himself and Morgan in one stride, and the two of them started walking off towards his car. You heard the two of them talking as they walked away. Or, rather, you heard Morgan talking about her day and Bucky chiming in with a word of acknowledgment. You cast a couple brief looks at them as you walked over to your car, smiling at the sight of them.
You returned your focus to the task at hand as you tried to get your daughter into her booster seat in the back of your car. You weren’t too worried, since she had luckily been a heavy sleeper ever since she was born, but you still tried to be extra careful. You were clicking her seatbelt into place when you heard Bucky’s car engine rumbling to life.
You caught a glimpse through your own car’s windshield as they drove by, Morgan sitting behind the empty passenger seat of Bucky’s car. They were out of you line of sight as quickly as they’d entered it. When they were gone again you set both your bag and your daughter’s on the floor by her feet.
~*~
“Ew, no,” Morgan said as she shook her head, her and Bucky looking at each other through the rearview mirror, “he’s gross. All the boys in my grade are.”
Bucky laughed, nodding. “Your dad will be happy to hear that.”
“I don’t even want a boyfriend.”
Bucky fought to the urge to give his knee-jerk response which would’ve been, “Well, yeah, you’re fucking nine.” Instead, he asked, “You tell him that?”
“Yeah.” She shrugged. “He went and asked Chrissy instead.”
“Worked out for you,” Bucky said, throwing his directional on before turning onto the main road away from the school. “You don’t need a boyfriend—you’re fine.”
“Dad says that you need a girlfriend.”
Bucky nearly choking on the breath he was pulling in. His eyes drifted from the road and back to the mirror to look at her. “What?”
“What?” she parroted back to him, blissfully unaware of why he reacted that way. “That’s what he said.”
Bucky was shaking his head, gaze fixed back on the road once more. “Yeah? Well your dad’s a—”
“Have you ever had a girlfriend?” she asked.
Bucky chuckled, a genuine sound. “Ever? Yeah.”
“This century?”
His eyebrows raised, surprised but also not. “You gotta stop listening to your dad all the time.”
A wide grin blossomed across her face. “But have you?”
He shook his head. “I thought we were cool,” he said sarcastically.
Morgan laughed hard enough at that to usher them into another topic of conversation with the rest of the drive home. Bucky went the long way, swinging through McDonald’s on the way since he was told that was fine this time around. It killed a little more time anyway, which was really what he needed. The only reason that he has the one enlisted to go and pick Morgan up in the first place was because Tony and Pepper were both running late with work. Not terribly so, but late enough that they didn’t want to ask her teacher to stay and wait.
Even with the extra stop planned in, and the most scenic route as possible taken, it still didn’t take them very long to get home. Before either of them could think much of it Bucky was rolling into Tony and Pepper’s driveway.
Bucky had just put the car in park when Morgan jumped out of the car, backpack strap in one hand and happy meal in the other. Bucky shook his head at her, laughing as he got out of the car much slower than she had. He finally felt comfortable enough to take off his gloves, tucking them into the back pocket of his jeans as he walked towards Tony’s porch.
Morgan had left the door opened behind her, so Bucky walked through and closed it as he did. When he looked around the room he saw that Morgan had already made her way over to her father and gotten swept off the ground in a hug.
As Tony was setting her back down on the floor, he asked, “You got some extra fries for me, right?”
Morgan laughed. “No way.”
Tony faked deep offense at her response. “It’s like I don’t even know you anymore.”
Bucky piped in. “I didn’t get you any either, for the record.”
Tony smirked. “That much I expected.”
Morgan looked around the room a little more, and when she didn’t see Pepper, she asked, “Where’s Mom?”
Tony gestured deeper into the house. “She’s out back.”
Morgan tossed both her backpack and her McDonald’s box of food onto the counter. “I’m gonna go say hi!” She pointed at Tony. “Don’t eat my fries.” She turned and pointed at Bucky. “Don’t let him eat my fries.”
Bucky gave a small salute. “Yes ma’am.”
When Morgan had scampered out of the room, Tony’s full attention shifted to Bucky. “Thanks for picking her up—I know it was short-notice.”
Bucky shrugged. “It’s fine.”
“Went okay?”
He nodded. “Teacher came out to make sure I wasn’t some kidnapper, but yeah, it went okay.”
Tony chuckled as he opened the fridge. “Figured she would.” He grabbed a beer for himself and offered one to Bucky, when he declined he shrugged with a suit yourself expression and let the door fall shut.
“Why’s your nine-year-old telling me I need to get a girlfriend?” Bucky asked as he watched Tony pop the cap off the bottle.
Tony didn’t miss a beat. “My guess is because you need to get a girlfriend.”
“Tony—”
“You met her teacher then, right?” Tony shrugged and took a sip of his beer. “She’s single. And cu—”
Bucky’s tone shifted drastically as he repeated himself. “Tony.”
The hand that wasn’t holding the beer bottle was held up in mock surrender. “I’m just saying.”
“That why you sent me to pick her up? Is Happy even busy?”
Tony laughed. “Like Happy would ever be too busy to get Morgan from school.”
Bucky rolled his eyes. “Oh my fuc—”
“Watch it.” Tony lifted the hand he was holding the bottle with, pointing accusingly at him. “There are little ears in the house.”
Bucky sucked in a deep breath. “I don’t need you playing matchmaker.” He leaned forward, bracing his forearms against the smooth dark stone-top of the island. “And I definitely don’t need you roping in your nine-year-old to help.”
“I actually didn’t tell her to say anything to you.”
“I don’t need you talking to her about my love life at all.”
“I was talking to Pepper about it. But hey,” he took another sip, “little ears hear everything.”
He watched as Bucky chuckled in disbelief. Tony knew that it wasn’t his place to say or do anything, that out of everyone he was probably close to the bottom of the list when it came to people who had the right to give dating advice. Even with that being the case, though, Tony had been watching Bucky muddle through and get along without ever really learning to get close to anyone since everything happened with Steve. He was gone now, and while Bucky might’ve accepted that, he still hadn’t really made any moves to let new people in. A girlfriend wouldn’t solve all of those issues, as Pepper had swiftly told him. But it probably also wouldn’t hurt, as Tony had told her in response.
“Gonna make me go to parent-teacher night next?” Bucky asked, his tone light enough to let Tony know that it wasn’t going to turn into an argument for the time being.
“Don’t be ridiculous—you’re not ready for anything more than an open house.”
He scoffed out a laugh. “Thanks.”
They both had plenty more comments to make about the topic but they let it drop as Morgan re-entered the room, Pepper in tow right behind her. Bucky and Tony exchanged a knowing look, one that confirmed that their conversation as on hold for now. Pepper caught it, but knew enough to know not to ask. Instead, she started a new conversation by thanking Bucky for picking Morgan up. He stayed long enough to make a little small talk before excusing himself, making sure to give Morgan another double fist-bump before heading for the door.
“I’ll walk you out,” Tony said, leaving his half-empty beer bottle on the counter.
Bucky knew exactly what Tony was doing, but didn’t say anything. The two of them slipped out the door, and Tony followed him down off the porch and all the way to his car.
When he realized that Bucky wasn’t going to say anything about any of it, he spoke up himself. “I could probably get her number for you.”
“Don’t.”
“Why not? You don’t think she’s—”
“That has nothing to do with it and you know it,” Bucky cut him off. “Just leave it alone, Tony.”
“Mmm.” He shook his head. “Don’t think I can do that. Matter of national security at this point—you’re left unattended an awful lot.”
“And you think I need an elementary teacher to keep me company?”
“She knows how to wrangle kids and keep ‘em in line—sounds perfect for you.”
“Don’t say anything to her.”
Tony stared at Bucky for a long, hard minute. “Fine.”
Bucky didn’t believe it for a second but be also knew that continuing to argue about it wasn’t going to fix anything either. “Thanks.”
They exchanged a quick handshake and a brief goodbye, and soon enough, Bucky was on his way. The drive back to his apartment felt longer than usual, his thoughts wandering in the silence of the car since he didn’t make any move to turn the radio on. He thought about you, not that he would ever give Tony the satisfaction of knowing that, the way you smiled as you balanced your daughter on your hip. He thought about the apparent ease there was between you and Morgan. He thought about your dress and the way it fell just above your knees, the way the bright colors looked so nice and seemed so fitting.
Then he shook his head to dispel the thoughts. Tony was just in his head now, having him overthink about a woman he’d met for all of two minutes. The likelihood of him seeing you again wasn’t very high, not unless Tony started asking him to play chauffer for Morgan a lot more often, and somehow he didn’t really see that happening.
When he walked into his apartment, Bucky was immediately greeted by Alpine running up and rubbing against his legs. He chuckled, crouching down so that he could give him a light scratch behind his ears. Part of it was because Alpine was happy to have his owner home, Bucky was sure. But the other part was about the fact that it was definitely past Alpine’s usual dinnertime. Bucky understood all of that.
“I know,” his metal fingers can down Alpine’s spine, causing him to arch and purr, “I’m late.”
The next few minutes was just Bucky hanging up his jacket, giving Alpine his dinner, and then pulling something out of the freezer to cook for his own dinner as well. While he was waiting for the oven to finish pre-heating, the only sound that could be heard was Alpine crunching on his kibble as he stood above his bowl. Bucky watched him for a moment, a small smile on his face at the simplicity of the life he had now. Something that for a long time he didn’t think he would ever have.
It was a good life. It was quieter now than it had been for a long time—he was almost used to it. But maybe Tony was right, not that Bucky would ever tell him as much in so many words, but there might’ve been something to what Tony had been trying to tell him. A truth that was simpler to ignore because continuing on as he had been required far less work than trying to get to know someone, trying to let someone get to know him.
He pulled his phone out, tempted to search your name just to see what would pop up, what he would be able to learn about you. Then he stopped himself, shaking his head to try and dispel the thoughts. What good would it do? Why was he thinking like you were someone he knew already? Or like you were someone that already knew him? For all he knew, you’d forgotten him already. Hell, for all he knew you had no desire to get to know anyone, let alone someone like him. The beeping of his oven saved him from going down that spiral any further.

Sam was sitting on the stool to Bucky’s left. The music in the bar was loud, but not so much so that they had to shout to talk to each other. But once Bucky processed the sentence that Sam had just spoken to him, he instantly wished that the music was loud enough so that he couldn’t hear the other man at all.
Bucky pulled a long drink from the beer bottle in his hand, gloved fingers wrapped tightly around the neck of it. “Can’t believe he got you in on this shit too.”
Sam shrugged, unfazed by Bucky’s blatant annoyance. “I’m just sayin’, I think the guy might have a point.”
“Since when do you agree with Stark?”
Sam laughed. “I’ll agree with anybody if I think they’re right!” He paused, studied the look on Bucky’s face and then added on with a laugh, “Well, yeah, not you. But other people.”
Bucky tried to keep his annoyed expression but then chuckled. “Fuck you.”
Sam wasn’t going to let the conversation get derailed. “Alright, so you don’t like the girl he was telling you about, so why don’t you—”
“I didn’t say—”
“They got apps for that now. Oh, sorry,” Sam held up his hand in a pausing motion, “Apps are things that you can put on your pho—”
Bucky’s brows knit together. “I know what apps are.”
Sam allowed himself a minute to laugh at his own joke before saying, “So it’s not the girl. Then, what? Afraid you left all your game back in the forties?”
He shook his head, eyes suddenly glued down to his beer bottle. “Sure, yeah. Something like that.”
“Want my advice?”
“No.”
Sam gave it anyway. “Get over it.” He ignored the increasingly annoyed look on Bucky’s face. “Go buy a girl a drink. Ask her for her number. Use whatever corny line you used back in the nineteen hundreds the last time you had to pretend to have some game.”
Bucky didn’t want to laugh but he couldn’t stop himself. Sam might’ve been oversimplifying but Bucky was also vaguely aware of the fact that he was overcomplicating things for himself. “I’ll think about it. But,” he paused to point at Sam accusingly while he grabbed a sip of his beer, “I didn’t have to pretend to have game. I had it—have. I have it.”
Sam raised his eyebrows. “Riiiight.”
The topic dropped, and they moved onto talking about other things. There were frequent pauses in the conversation, both of them turning to look at people coming into the bar. Neither of them ever thought they would fully break that habit, no matter how often they went out into the world as civilians.
The door let out a quiet chime, and Bucky’s head instinctively snapped in the direction to see who was coming in. His eyes widened and he stopped himself in the middle of the sentence that he was saying to Sam. There was no brain to mouth filter as he let out a quiet, “Shit.”
Sam’s face contorted in confusion as he turned to see what it was that had Bucky reacting that way. He looked over, his confusion immediately shifting into a smug grin when he saw you standing in the doorway. Bucky hadn’t even given Sam a description of what you looked like, but he could tell from Bucky’s reaction that there was no way that you could possibly be anyone else.
“Talk about good timing,” Sam joked.
Bucky was still staring at you, not that you’d noticed, as he spoke to Sam. “Shut up.”
“Now’s the time.”
He fought the urge to shove him off the stool. “I said shut up.”
You were only a couple steps inside the bar, you phone clutched tightly in one hand as you looked around the semi-tight space. The focused furrow of your brow said that you were looking for someone. The tight black jeans and lacy grey top you were wearing said that you were probably looking for your date. There were five million reasons Bucky felt his mouth go dry and none of them were doing him any good.
He saw the rise and fall of your shoulders as you let out a sigh. You typed on your phone for a moment before making your way over to the bar, carefully weaving your way through the clusters of other patrons. The closer you got, the more Bucky hoped that the floor would open up and swallow him whole. You were so focused on getting to the bar and snagging a rare empty seat, that you didn’t even notice that the seat was next to him until after you’d ordered your drink. You wouldn’t have looked in his direction at all if you hadn’t heard someone laughing.
When you turned, the first thing you saw was Bucky, the familiar face and leather jacket. The next thing you noticed was the man on the other side of him, the source of said laughter. You tilted your head as your eyes made their way back to Bucky. You allowed yourself a laugh of your own. “Bucky?”
He nodded, clearing his throat. “H-hey. Yeah, hi.”
“So funny seeing you here!” You paused, looking back and forth between him and the man next to him. “How are you?”
He nodded again, pulling the words up one by one. “Good. I’m good. You?”
“I’m, um,” you chuckled awkwardly, “I’m alright, I think? Supposed to be meeting someone here but,” you glanced around, “I don’t see them yet.”
The man on the other side of Bucky leaned across him and held his hand out. “I’m Sam, by the way.” He flashed you a charming grin. “Not the person you were looking for, but figured I’d introduce myself anyway since this guy wasn’t going to.”
You laughed as you told him your name. “Nice to meet you, Sam.”
The three of you chit-chatted, and you tried not to think too much about the way that Bucky was looking at you. You were putting too much thought into it, you were certain. Maybe you were just projecting, taking all the growing disappointment you were feeling about your supposed “date” still not being there and channeling it into the way that Bucky seemed to be so attentively listening to you.
Taking another sip from the straw in your drink, you checked the time on your phone one more time. Letting out a deep sigh, you looked over at Bucky, and Sam too. “I’m glad I ran into you two tonight, because from the looks of it the person that I came out to see is not showing up.” You shoved your phone back into the pocket of your jeans with a shake of your head.
“He’s an idiot,” Sam chimed in without hesitation.
You laughed and nodded. “I appreciate the sentiment.” You finished off your drink and you didn’t try to dissuade the bartender who was grabbing your glass and heading off to make you another. Looking back at the two of them, you said, “My friends were the ones who convinced me to get on those stupid dating apps anyway.” You shook your head. “Lotta good it did, huh?”
Bucky nodded, shooting a pointed look at Sam as he said, “Yeah, I know the feeling.”
Sam was laughing, but Bucky noticed the way that he was moving to throw some cash down on the bar. He gathered up his jacket as he got off the stool. “Well, not to be the bearer of more bad news, but I gotta take off.” He clapped Bucky on the shoulders as he walked by. “But you two crazy kids stay out and have some fun. It was very nice to meet you.” He flashed the two of you another grin. “Call if you need bail money. Not me, but, you know, call somebody.”
You laughed as you and Bucky each said goodbye to him. The two of you watched him as he practically skipped out of the bar and out onto the street. Bucky was caught between wishing he could chase Sam down and tackle him, and wishing he could skip right out the door alongside him. There was no buffer between the two of you anymore, and Bucky felt so strangely exposed.
“Sorry about your date,” Bucky finally offered up.
You smiled good-naturedly. “I’m not that heartbroken over it,” you said honestly as the bartender set your fresh drink down in front of you. “My expectations were pretty low, but, you know,” you took a sip, “not so low that I assumed he wasn’t gonna be here.”
Bucky chuckled. “That’s fair.”
“Honestly, I’m just more pissed off that I wasted one of my few free weekend evenings on some guy who didn’t even bother texting me to cancel.”
“Few?”
You smiled as you said, “My daughter. Every other week she’s with her dad. I miss her when she’s gone, so I try to stay busy. Usually with friends, but every now and then it’s some pipe-dream of a date.” You took another sip. “They usually do show up, though, at the risk of making myself sound horrible desperate,” you joked.
Bucky laughed. “I don’t think you have to worry about that.”
Your smile softened a touch, but it was still there. “Well, thank you for that at least.”
You had every intention of finishing off your drink, paying your tab, and heading right home. You weren’t typically one for staying out all hours in a bar or a club somewhere, even when you were out with your friends. And, as nice as it was that you had a chance run-in with Bucky when everything else seemed to be going wrong, you were still ready to turn it in and go home. Back to your pajamas and fuzzy blankets.
That’s not what happened, however, despite your best intentions. Somewhere along the way you switched from cocktails to soda just for the sake of being able to stay longer without getting too much of a buzz as you talked to Bucky. He wasn’t exactly a chatterbox, per se, and you hadn’t really expected him to be. The two of you managed to keep up a good pace of back and forth regardless of that. He did a little more listening than he did talking but it didn’t seem to bother him. It also made you realize that even though you had your friends, and your fellow teachers at school, there weren’t a whole lot of times when you went out to socialize with other adults. It also didn’t hurt that Bucky was so nice to look at, that he seemed to be just as interested in looking right back at you.
You’d both lost track of time as you sat there, and when you were both finally making your way towards the door of the bar, it was much later than either of you had bargained for. The two of you walked, and Bucky pulled the door open for you. The two of you were mid-conversation when you landed back out on the sidewalk. It was only then that you realized you probably weren’t going to be heading in the same direction.
Bucky watched as you motioned back over your shoulder, the opposite direction from the way he was heading. “I’m parked this way, but, it was really good seeing you. What are the chances, right?” You laughed lightly.
He smiled, nodded. “Yeah. It was, um,” he could feel the words that he wanted to say resting on the tip of his tongue and he was conflicted about whether or not he wanted to actually say them, “it was good to see you again.” He paused, hating every bit of hesitation that he was feeling. “Do you, um, I was wondering,” he was reaching for the pocket of his jacket for his phone as he fumbled his way through the question, “I mean on your next free weekend…”
You felt your face warm as he continued on. You knew where the line of questioning was going, and part of you knew that maybe you should put him out of his misery. But it was sweet, and you were enjoying that. Finally, you nodded. “That’d be nice.”
He let out a sigh of relief as he took his phone out. “Great. Okay, yeah. I’ll…I’ll call you. You know,” he managed a smile with a little more ease, “save you from all the apps.”
You laughed as you typed your name and number in. “You’re a lifesaver.”
In the back of his mind he knew that he should be making some sort of move now. Walk you to your car, give you a hug, something. But if asking for your number was as difficult as it had proven itself to be, he didn’t know what it was going to be like trying to manage anything else. So he took the win, and bid you goodnight.
Over the course of the next couple days, he was caught between wanting to tell both Tony and Sam separately that he’d gotten your number. He thought maybe it would help get them off his back. What he didn’t want, though, was for them to just get on his case about a whole new slew of things. He also didn’t want to give them the satisfaction of knowing that they’d been right.
So, instead of reaching out to either of them, he texted you instead. It was casual at first, just brief messages here and there. Texting wasn’t his favorite way to stay in touch with people, but he at least recognized that it was what people did now.
He called you once, when he wanted to actually try and make plans to see you. That conversation wasn’t one that he wanted to have over text, and he told you as much. You also found that to be sweet as well. It wasn’t a long conversation, one taking place while you made dinner and your daughter was busy with her toys in the living room. But the two of you settled on a date, a time, and that he would come by your place to pick you up. You couldn’t remember the last time you smiled so much while making pasta.

“Tony is never gonna let you hear the end of this when he finds out,” Sam said as he sat down at Bucky’s kitchen counter.
“Yeah, I know,” Bucky grabbed drinks out of his fridge. “That’s why I haven’t said anything to him about it.”
“Nothing?!”
“No!” Bucky said, breaking down into laughter after a moment. “You gonna tell him?”
“What, you think that we’re texting about you all the time?” Sam shook his head. “Get over yourself.”
Bucky was about to come back with something snarky as per usual when his phone chimed on the counter. Sam looked, too nosey to stop himself. The grin that spread across his face when he saw your name on the screen. At the look on Sam’s face, Bucky’s instinct was to reach and flip the phone over, but he stopped himself. Instead, he grabbed his phone and messaged you back before setting it down.
“You wanna call me while you’re getting ready?” Sam joked. “I’ll help you pick out an outfit. Tell you how to do your hair.”
Bucky chuckled. “Fuck you.”
~*~
He didn’t call Sam before the date. He also hadn’t heard anything from Tony which led him to believe that Sam had been kind enough to keep his mouth shut. That was all well and good, but he wished that it did anything to soothe the nerves that he was feeling as he stood outside your door.
He felt like an awkward sixteen-year-old again as he stood on your front step. He rang the doorbell, flowers clutched tightly in his hand as he waited. He’d spoken to you earlier, and you had seemed excited about it all still. That gave him hope. But again, it still wasn’t enough to eradicate the lingering feelings of anxiety he had.
Another few seconds passed by and then you pulled open the door. You were smiling at him as you were trying to do the latch on your necklace. “Hey! Sorry, I still have to get my shoes on and stuff. Please,” you stepped back and nodded for him to step inside, “come in. I’ll be ready in like, two minutes.”
He smiled as he somewhat nervously followed your instructions, stepping just past the threshold of your house. “Take your time,” he said calmly as he shut the door behind him.
He looked around while you finished putting on your jewelry and went to grab your shoes. He wasn’t sure what he had been picturing your house looking like, but what he saw felt fitting. It was tidy considering how young your daughter was. There were some toys scattered about in patches, framed photos on the walls and drawings tacked onto the fridge by magnets. It was a home in a way that none of Bucky’s places since he came back had ever been.
“Okay,” you said as you reappeared, smoothing out your blouse, “I’m ready. Sor—” you stopped short when you finally noticed the bouquet of flowers in his hand. The smile on your face was wide enough to make your cheeks hurt. “Those are beautiful.”
Bucky’s eyes widened for a moment, like he’d forgotten that he had them. He held them out to you. “Just figured, you know…”
You smiled as you took them, flitting off to the kitchen so that you could put them in a vase with water. “Thank you.”
As the two of you drove, you could feel him slowly starting to relax. The two of you talked, and you could see the way that his grip on the steering wheel started to become less vice-like. There was something refreshing in the way that he opened the car door for you, and the door to the diner that the two of you had agreed on. He sat down across from you in the booth and you noticed the way that he still had his gloves on as he looked through the menu. You wanted to ask but you didn’t—if he wanted to say something about it you had a feeling that he would.
The conversation felt easy, the same way it had been that night at the bar. The only difference now was the feeling in the air. There was a different kind of tension now that hadn’t been there before. Sure, you’d been attracted to him even then, but that hadn’t been a date. Not like this.
Every now and then if one of you shifted in your seat and your feet or legs would brush. Neither of you said anything about it, but you could feel the upward curl of your own lips as it happened, the occasional pink flush of Bucky’s cheeks. Sometimes it’d make him stumble in his sentence and you’d do him the courtesy of not commenting on it.
The two of you were splitting a piece of pie for dessert, something you insisted on because you knew the woman who baked them for the diner. It wasn’t as though Bucky put up any great fight about it. The closer the two of you got to finishing it, the more you engaged in low-stakes warfare, dueling with your forks over the pieces with the best crust-to-filling ratio.
“You can have the last bite,” you conceded with a laugh, leaning back in the booth.
“Oh, come on,” he joked, “it doesn’t feel good to win by forfeit.”
You laughed, warmth blossoming up your neck and across your face. “It’s not forfeit. Think of it as, I don’t know,” you drummed your fingers against the tabletop, “me being nice since it was your first time here.” You paused, studying the amused look on his face. “That better?”
He shrugged, a smirk on his face. “Little bit.”
The two of you walked back out to his car, and you found yourself walking much closer to his side than you had been on the way in. Your arm brushed against his as the two of you walked, and you found yourself about half a step away from leaning into his side.
He reached to open the car door for you, but before he could you leaned back against it so that you were facing him. You let one arm hang by your side, with the other you brought your palm so that it rested against his chest, pads of your fingertips pressing lightly against the leather.
Bucky almost pulled away out of reflex, but he didn’t. “Yes?”
You shook your head, still smiling. “Nothing, nothing.” You let your hand drop, the pads of your fingers dragging for a moment before your arm was back at your side once more. You moved just enough so that he could open the door again for you. “Thank you.”
Bucky walked you up to the door of your house, and he felt like his heart was beating clean up into the back of his throat. He didn’t remember dating being this nerve-wracking before. You seemed perfectly unfazed, though as you sauntered up and slipped your key into the lock.
“You wanna come in?” you offered as you opened the door. “Have a drink?”
It took more effort to swallow than it should have. “Oh. Yeah, sure.”
You chuckled. “If you don’t want to—”
“I do,” he reassured, his voice earnest.
Your smiled grew. “Okay.” You stepped and waved him in with you. “C’mon.” You noticed the way that he still had his jacket and gloves on when you came back out of the kitchen with a bottle in each hand. You handed one over to him. “Nothing fancy, but it’s also usually just me drinking them, so…”
He chuckled and shook his head. “It’s fine.”
There were a few beats of silence, each of you sipping out of your bottles before you said, “You don’t do this a lot, do you?”
His eyes widened for a moment, slight panic. “What?”
Your smile was warm as you gestured with your hand that held the bottle. “This. Dates. Not…not your thing, is it?”
He held the bottle between both his hands. “I’m…out of practice, yeah.” He cleared his throat. “That noticeable?”
You shook your head. “Not really. You just seemed, I don’t know, a little nervous. And I don’t know why a guy who looks like you would have any reason to be nervous on a date other than…”
“Other than I don’t go on them,” he finished with a soft laugh.
Your face heated up as you smiled. “Kinda.”
“How’d I do?” he asked, mostly joking.
You stepped in closer to him, noticing a different kind of tension in his body. “You’re doing great.”
He huffed out a laugh but it was much softer than he intended, betraying more of his real feelings than he bargained for. “This part?” He made a small gesture between you. “This part I’m really,” he forced out a puff of air through his teeth, “yeah.”
There was a flutter of butterflies in your stomach, something you hadn’t felt in a long time. “Want some help?”
He laughed but he didn’t say no, didn’t move away. He swallowed hard as you took the bottle from his hand and set them both on the coffee table in your living room. He was fighting hard to say something—ideally something smooth but at this point he would’ve settled for just about anything. Within seconds you were standing close to him again, bodies a breath away from being pressed flush against each other. Your hands rested on his chest for a moment, and you waited to see if he would change his mind and pull away—you were giving him the chance. But then you felt his hands tentatively land on your hips and you smiled, your body easing against his. You brought one hand up to the side of his face, thumb caressing his cheekbone.
“Not so bad,” you asked softly, “right?”
He shook his head, finally forcing out a quiet, “No, it’s not.”
You smiled and leaned in, lightly pressing your lips to his. It was delicate, fleeting—you were pulling away as quickly as you’d leaned in. The sliver of space left between your lips and his was the silent ask for him to let you know if this was the end of the night or not. He could pull away from you, no harm no foul, or he could lean in and kiss you again and figure it out from there.
It felt like you were both holding your breath for a moment, faces just too close to be able to get a good look in each other’s eyes. You were about to pull back to really look at him when he leaned in and kissed you, more conviction than the quick gesture from before. You readily gave into him, hand sliding from his cheek to the back of his head to keep him pulled to you. As his lips moved against yours, one of his hands slid so that it was resting at the center of the small of your back.
The two of you stayed like that in the middle of your living room, all locking lips and wandering hands. You would’ve let the entire night fall away spent just like that and been more than fine with it. When the two of you finally came back up for air, when Bucky pulled away from you enough to really look into your eyes, you saw that more than anything he was surprised. Maybe it was at you, maybe it was at himself, but regardless it was there. Underneath that, though, you could see that there was something more. His hand that wasn’t on the small of your back came up to cup your chin, the leather of his gloves smooth to the touch against your skin. He tilted your chin just slightly and then your lips were back on his again.
Out of instinct you tugged down the zipper of his jacket. Your hands came up to his shoulders, getting ready to push his jacket down off of them. It was only then that he pulled away from you again, breathless as he desperately searched your face.
“What?” you asked gently, pausing your movements.
“Nothing, nothing. I,” he pressed his lips into a thin line for a moment. “I wasn’t expecting…I just…”
“If it’s too much,” you said, taking a small step back, “we can—”
“No,” he stopped you short, shaking his head. “It’s not that. I just…” He took a breath. “Do you know? Who I am?”
You chuckled. “You’re friends with Iron Man and Falcon. I,” you shrugged, “I connected some dots along the way.”
He laughed, a sound of relief. “A lot of people don’t…you know…”
“A lot of people don’t have people from The Avengers dropping off school snacks once a week.” You paused and let both of you laugh. Allowing your tone to get a little more serious, you said, “I know, Bucky,” you moved once more to push his jacket down off his shoulders, “and it’s okay.”
He allowed you to do it, allowed his jacket to drop to the floor. Even with the long-sleeve shirt that he had on underneath, you could see the difference between his arms. You brought your hands to his, helping him pull the gloves off next. He was holding his breath—you could tell. When his gloves were off you ran your fingers along each of his palms, skin and metal, with equal delicate care.
When you looked into his eyes again you saw the way he was looking at you—bewildered, eager. You brought one hand back to his face again, urging him back towards you. It was a cue that he gladly took, kissing you with fervor. His hands were on your sides, and when he felt the way your other hand was running up his arm, he couldn’t stop himself, from letting his hands slip beneath the fabric of your shirt.
It’d been so long, he realized as his hands roamed your sides and back, since he’d last felt someone like this. When your fingers slid underneath the collar of his shirt, splaying across what they could reach where the nape of his neck turned stretched into his shoulders, he also realized that it’d been a long time since he’d let someone feel him like this too.
All the nerves, the tension of the night, it all started to melt away as he felt you reaching for the bottom hem of his shirt to pull off over his head. He didn’t want to stop you, and he knew that that meant something. Maybe they’d all been right—maybe there was something to letting someone else in again. As he felt the warmth of your palms against his skin, he could only hope that the rest of it felt this good too.

Rhinestones
Luke Castellan x f!reader
Summary: The aftermath of beating Luke comes with consequences.
Work Count: 1.8k
TW: Violence, blood, weapons, mean Luke, broken bones
. .・゜゜・・゜゜・.. ・゚゚・。. .・゜゜・・゜゜・.. ・゚゚・。. .・゜゜・.
“WHO IN OLYMPUS PUT PINK RHINESTONES ON MY DAGGERS?” You yell in anger.
After your victory in Capture the Flag, everyone in camp had a newfound sense of respect for you and your abilities. And to your delight, they contented your skill with that of the infamous Luke Castellan. Unsurprisingly, the one and only Golden Boy wasn’t too happy about this and had been on a mission to make your life a living hell since that day.
But this was too far.
The knives, your prized possessions were covered in pastel pink shimmery rhinestones, and it was most likely Luke's fault.
. .・゜゜・・゜゜・.. ・゚゚・。. .・゜゜・・゜゜・.. ・゚゚・。. .・゜゜・.
You marched up to Chris taking a fistful of this orange camp shirt, “Where. is. Castellan.”
It wasn’t a question. It was a demand.
You felt Chris’ body tense, he was all too familiar with your aggressive tendencies.
“I-…I don’t know.” He replied eyes fleeting away from your gaze.
You didn’t buy his answer for a minute.
Shoving him a little more this time, you spoke, “Don’t lie to me Chris. I know you know where he is.”
He was trembling my now, that much was evident. You supposed that after throwing a knife near his head in Capture the Flag, Chris was most likely terrified of you.
You don’t know what you would’ve done to Chris if he didn’t tell you. Probably nothing pretty. So for the fearful boy in your grasp, it was lucky that you caught a glimpse of dark curls rounding the corner.
. .・゜゜・・゜゜・.. ・゚゚・。. .・゜゜・・゜゜・.. ・゚゚・。. .・゜゜・.
“Castellan!” You yelled from across the dining area. Luke’s eyes found yours and based on the smirk adorning his features you confirmed the culprit.
Now it was time to apprehend him.
You took off sprinting in his direction, rhinestone knife raised in your right hand.
“You’re gonna suffer for this!” You scream, chest heaving from running.
You saw alarm pass over Luke’s eyes. Good. He should be afraid.
As you began to close in on him, he took off running in the opposite direction. What a cowered. You refused to back down, forcing your legs forward as you tried to regulate your breathing.
By now you had arrived at the woods, but it appeared that Luke had no intention of stopping anytime soon. So you chased after him.
The trees made it difficult to keep up with the Hermes boy, but you pushed on despite this. After running for what felt like hours you finally spotted Luke sitting on a large rock, one leg bent as he rested his elbow on his knee.
“You made it, Chaos. Thought I might have lost you back there.” He said.
You rolled your eyes, desiring nothing more than to rip his head from his body.
“You are so dead, Castellan.” You seethed.
He nodded, patronizing you as a smug expression clung to his features. “I see you found my present.”
“Present?” You spat, “You vandalized my daggers!”
Luke leaned back from his perched position. He was calm and collected and this made you all the more frustrated.
“Did I? Or did I just bedazzle them for you?”
You chuckled angrily, “Bedazzle? Castellan you covered my knives in pink rhinestones and the only excesses you have for you actions is that you “bedazzled” them.” You look to the sky as you throw up your hands. “Unbelievable.”
“Oh come on, Chaos, loosen up. You must have known that I had a motive.” He spoke, eyes darkening ever so slightly.
“I don’t know why I’m even hearing you out right now when I should be inflicting you with a painful death.”
Luke chuckled, clearly humoured, “Like you could, even if you tried.”
“Don’t underestimate me, Castellan. You do remember what happened last time, don’t you?” You spoke, every word coated in venom, “Or do I need to jog your memory?”
Luke raised his hands in front of him with faux surrender.
You scoffed.
“Now is there a reason you brought me here or should I resume what I had planned for you?” You said.
Luke quirked a brow, “I didn’t force you to follow me, Chaos. That’s on you.”
You didn’t reply. Opting to glare at him with hatred.
Luke appeared amused at your anger. He pushed his body off the rock and stalked up to you. His dark eyes captured your gaze as he stood before you. The Hermes boy towered over you, and you had to tilt your head up to see his face.
You didn’t realize how hard you were clenching your fists until you felt the familiar trickle of crimson blood staining your palms. Four crescent wounds adored your palms on each hand.
Luke noticed the small amount of blood seeping from your clenched fists. “You must really hate me.” He said, a smirk remaining on his face, “The feeling is mutual.”
You turn from him to take a deep breath, “I didn’t come here to discuss the obvious, Castellan.” You state. “In fact, I didn’t come here to talk at all.”
That moment you broke. Your walls of restraint crumbled, unleashing all your anger.
You punched Luke. You punched him hard, and you liked it. You were a volcano, rage erupting and flames lapping up anything in its path.
Luke stumbled back at the impact. He recovered quickly, standing tall as he spat blood from his mouth onto the ground. He loved this. Luke loved your rage, and he had no clue why. There was just something about the way your eyes darkened and the way you carried yourself that had Luke drinking in your anger. So instead of recoiling from your touch, he edged you on even more. “Come on, Chaos. That’s all you got? You're Pathetic.”
He obtained the reaction he was looking for. You lunged at him, and the force of your clenched fist came with you. You swung at his face again, but this time he caught your hand.
“Nuh uh, Chaos. Don’t ruin this pretty little face of mine, how else am I supposed to look at you?”
A growl of frustration rose from the back of your throat. Was this idiot seriously flirting with you right now? It seemed like with every passing second you had a stronger desire to permanently remove that perfect smirk adorning his lips. Hands finding his chest you pushed him down with all your power, tackling him to the ground.
Luke groaned as you set yourself over him, mimicking the same position from Capture the Flag. You reached for his arms to restrain him, but he constantly evaded your reach. You continued to go for his arms the height of his limbs forcing you to surge forward. When you finally reached his arms you relaxed, shifting back. Why wasn’t he fighting back?
Luke’s eyes captured yours as something new passed through them.
“If you wanted me on top of you, you should’ve just asked.” You prodded, but he seemed to snap at your words.
Luke pushed you down, snagging his limbs out of your grasp. He gripped your wrist and pulled you to the side, but it was to no avail. Your thighs were gripping his body, fighting to remain. You climbed over his chest, pushing your elbow down to his throat.
“Have I joged your memory yet, Castellan?”
He only groans in response as you move back.
Luke’s eyes are screwed shut, an unreadable expression falling over his face. “Stop moving.” He spoke breathlessly.
Your eyes widen
“What?”
He inhales sharply, “You heard me, Chaos. Stop moving.”
You freeze in place as Luke shoves you off of himself.
Your shock only increases as he stands, pulling you into his grip.
His eyes sweep over you, hair in disarray, shirt stained with dirt from the ground.
“Finally,” He breathes, “You listened.”
His words snap you out of your shock, as you go in for another blow. Luke anticipated this though. He caught your fist and twisted your arm around your back. A whine escaped your lips at the sudden pain.
“You’re always so dam (pun intended) stubborn. Always so hot-headed, it’s incredibly frustrating.” He spoke, pulling on your arm with more force.
“Luke,” You cry out. Silently begging for him to release you, even though you both knew you’d never voice your true meaning. Begging him to let you go would be admitting defeat, and you would never allow that.
“You want me to let go huh? Well, we both know the last time we fought you dislocated my shoulder. I couldn’t use it for days, probably drank more ambrosia than is even possible.”
Your body desperately fights against his, in an aim to free your arm. You try to escape his grasp, but his arms are wrapped securely around you. You involuntarily cry out again as Luke tugs your arm harder.
“Luke,” You whine more desperately this time.
He only allowed another one of his signature smirks to dress his face.
“Stop fighting me Chaos. I am the only victor of this camp. There’s no room for the both of us.” He said, voice hard and cold.
Luke shoved you to the ground pushing you down, but you do your best to resist, fighting against his grip.
“Do you want me to break this little arm of yours?” He asks, anger coating his tone.
You shake your head. The pain made your eyes water, as you spent all your energy holding them in. You didn’t understand why people liked the boy in front of you. He was a monster. Sure he was nice to the newbies, and he adored Annabeth, but to you, he was worse than the Typhon, who rendered all the gods almost entirely powerless. Maybe Luke had a nice side, but you were much more accustomed with the one before you.
“You’re quiet now, aren’t you? Never thought I’d see the day when Chaos, herself has nothing to say.”
You have always hated Luke Castellan. But in this moment you despise him with your entire being. He was humiliating you. He was taking away your glory. Piece by piece Luke was tearing it from you, and you were doing all you could to hold on to it.
During your fight with Luke, you had approached a riverbank. Your father could help you thought. Dad, I need you. You called for your father god of the seas, yet as Luke forced you to the ground you knew that no help would come from Poseidon. Either he didn’t hear or he didn’t care, either way, you are solely left to defend yourself. And as glory fades, embedding itself into Luke, you are desperate to take action.
As Luke pushed your body down harder you reasoned that you needed to act immediately. So without another thought you rolled to your side, slamming your body weight down on your arm in Luke’s hold. An intense crack was heard and instantly Luke tore his hands from you. You screamed in anguish as you fought the water forming in your eyes.
A long pause of silence filled the air between you and the Hermes boy.
“Chaos…” He spoke quietly. Something that almost sounded like worry filled his voice.
You didn’t care what Luke had to say. All that you could think of was peeling every ounce of his glory and bestowing it upon yourself. You wanted respect. You demanded it. You took a deep breath, standing upright. A dark chuckle fell from your lips, “You were right about one thing, Castellan. There’s no room for the both of us.”
Luke doesn’t make an effort to speak. He just stood there in shock. You were glad, though as you studied him, it appeared that hundreds of emotions passed his eyes, anger, confusion, hatred, but most of all concern.
You took another deep breath to hold in your suffering, but the sheer intensity of the pain was too much. As you opened your mouth, desperate for air to fill your lungs, you were met with nothing. You couldn’t feel anything besides the riveting pain travelling down your entire body. Your mind became fuzzy and your body was dizzy. Before you could even react, you were falling. Down, down, down. Your body went numb, and you were sure that you would’ve hit the ground with a concussion, if Luke hadn’t lunged forward, slipping his arms around you, and catching your fall.

A/n I had this all ready to publish, and then half of it like deleted itself...so if the second half of this part sucks, its cause I had to rewrite it in my anger.

you guys seemed to be v into the idea of ballerina!y/n x hockey player!harry so here's a quick lil blurb!!!! lmk if you'd wanna see more :) im slowly working on part two of late night talking but it will be coming soon !
word count: less than 1,000
content warnings: none (harry being a douche)
masterlist | talk to me
. . .
Y/N is a creature of habit.
Every morning, she eats the same thing for breakfast, orders the same tea on the way to class, and wears an iteration of the same leotard, leggings, and sneakers. Her hair is always tied up in an impeccably perfect bun, a silk scrunchie keeping it secure, and, without fail, she passes Harry Styles, who will always manage to throw some uncreative insult her way.
This morning, as her New Balance sneakers squeak against the tiled hallway of the campus center, passing by the hockey arena, Harry already has one prepared, almost as if he was waiting for her.
"Take the stick out of your ass, Cinderella, you look like you're ready for murder."
Without missing a beat, she brushes past him, firing back a response: "Yeah, your murder."
"Ah, that's no way to treat the school's star goalie," Harry hops up from his seat, his muscular legs quickly catching up with her stride. "Wouldn't wanna be responsible for the death of a national treasure."
"Says who?"
He snorts, Y/N fastening her pace to lose him. Even though she knows the hockey coach has them do sprints at every practice, she's still somehow surprised that he manages to keep up with her effortlessly.
"Is there a reason you're stalking me?" Y/N asks as she passes through a doorway, wishing she had enough space to slam it in his face.
"Hm, other than the fact that it annoys you? No, I don't think so."
"Hockey practice doesn't even start for another 30 minutes. There's no reason for you to be out here already."
"But then how would I get my entertainment?" his lips curl into a boyish smirk and it makes Y/N's stomach churn. As she's digging into her bag for the key to the studio (Mrs. Lei always lets her set up in the morning — it's a perk of being a star student), he bends down to catch her ear, her breath instantly catching in her throat. "Besides, then I wouldn't get to see that tight ass in those cute little onesies you wear."
Y/N yelps and Harry immediately cackles loudly, taking a lengthy step back as if he's anticipating a slap in the face.
"You're such a fucking pig!" she yells, reaching out to smack his chest. Quickly, he dodges it, which only makes him laugh harder. "You're disgusting, Harry!"
"Shut up, I'm just fucking with you," he glances down at his Apple Watch. "I gotta get to practice now. Have a good day, Cinderella!"
She watches with a slack jaw as he bounces away in the opposite direction, her entire morning thrown completely off kilter because of Harry Styles. When she finally manages to close her mouth, she shouts out with a dry throat:
"By the way, they're not onesies, they're leotards!"
She hears him cackling from all the way down the hall.

You pressed yourself against the cool tile wall, your hair sticking to your sweat drenched forehead as you tried to quiet your breathing. You closed your eyes, struggling to listen for any sign of his approach as your pulse thundered in your ears. You could hear it at the other end of the hall, the steady ‘tink…tink…tink’ of a stainless steel blade against tile. You sucked in a deep breath, your only chance of him not catching you is if you could manage to hide. You pressed yourself into the small alcove, hoping the shadows would shroud you just enough to keep you out of the golden rabbit’s sight. A bead of sweat trailed down your temple, dripping off of your jaw and splattering on your bare shoulder. His heavy footsteps echoed down the corridor, the subtle creaking of the suit accompanying every loud thud.
“Run rabbit, run rabbit, run… run… run…” Your blood ran cold at the sound of his voice. He knew you were nearby. That was the thing about him, he never wanted to sneak up on you, he wanted you to know that he was coming, leaving you desperate and scared as you had nowhere left to run. The fear in your eyes would be delicious, if he was lucky enough maybe he’d get the chance to lick the salty tears from your cheek. You caught sight of his massive form shuffling past the opening to where you were tucked away. Your whole body shook as you tried to remain as still as possible, you were finally able to release the breath you were holding as he fully passed by to the other side. You listen to him trudge off, waiting for him to get a considerable distance away before making you move. As carefully as possible you tip toes to the edge of the alcove, peering around the edge to see how far from you he was. You saw him take very slow and deliberate steps, fully dressed in his normal day to day attire save for the addition of the yellow rabbit head and the massive blade in his hand. Deciding you more than likely wouldn’t get a better opportunity you booked it in the opposite direction down the hallway. “Rabbit!” You hear him snarl as he quickly turns on his heels, stomping after you. You stumble around a corner, seeing the door to the main dining room.
You slam against the rusty push bar, throwing the door shut behind you as you stumble into the pitch black room, the only source of light coming from the front door at the opposite side of the restaurant. You sprinted off, hiding yourself under a booth. The golden rabbit crashes through the door, the wooden frame splintering as the latch is ripped from its pocket. He scans around the room, shoulders heaving as adrenaline coursed through his veins. “I know you're in here, rabbit.” His voice deep and gravelly as his eyes scan around the space. “You can't hide forever.” You shuffle yourself away from him, hoping he would wander further into the room, giving you the chance to push back through the door you originally came through and down to the exit. If you could manage to beat him outside you would be able to escape. As you thought of your plan you hadn't realized you lost where he was. Your eyes widened in panic as your ears filled with nothing but silence. You couldn't hear his footsteps anymore, the one indicator of how much danger you were in, gone.
Your blood turns to ice in your veins as you feel his hot breath against the shell of your ear, his dark chuckle making you shiver. “Found you.” He groans as your shoulder connects with his chest, shoving him to the floor before scrambling in the opposite direction. He growls as he chases after you, bounding after you like a crazed animal after its prey. You threw open the door, sprinting down the long dark corridor, sickly yellow light flickering from the dying bulbs as they struggled to illuminate the small space. You slip as you round a corner, managing to catch yourself on the wall in order to recover quickly, you didn't have a fraction of a second to lose. Your pursuer's brown leather shoes slid across the slick tile floor, his body slamming into the opposing wall with a crushing force. You were going to make it, the door was only a few steps away. The glowing red exit sign is a beacon of hope as time itself seems to slow down around you. You hear the golden rabbit let out a guttural growl, charging forward with a new found strength. Your fingers slid against the cool metal of the door, hurrying to push it open, only to find it was locked.
“No.” Your voice shook as you realized he had thought ahead, he knew you would try to get out this way. You shriek as two large hands grab onto your shoulders ripping you away from the door. Your face feels hot as tears begin to flow freely from your eyes. Well, if you had no chance of escape your only hope was to fight your way out. All of your breath gets knocked from your lungs as your back slams into his strong, broad chest. You had to think quickly if you wanted a chance at getting away.
“You're a clever little rabbit, aren't you?” You feel his hot tongue run over the shell of your ear. “Good thing I remembered to lock the door or you would have escaped.” You wind up, sending an elbow flying backwards into his ribs, managing him back with your smaller frame. You bolted for the security room, a large calloused hand catching your arm as you were yanked back to him. You struggled, smacking your hands against his chest trying to kick him, pushing at his masked face as he pressed into you. You gave one violent shove, sending the rabbit head tumbling to the floor. The dilated pupils of William Afton stared down at you, his gray streaked hair stuck to his forehead with sweat. A muscular arm wraps around your waist, you feel one of his legs slip in between yours as he sweeps an ankle out from underneath you, both of you smashing to the ground with him on top of you. You bared your teeth as you fought to push him off of you. He grabs ahold of your wrists, slamming your arms to the cold floor as he pins you down with his legs. “Fuckin’ brat.” He growls. He wraps both of your small, delicate hands in one of his, the other wrapping firmly around your throat, locking your jaw in place so you were forced to stare up at his sharp silver eyes. “You just never know when to quit, do you?” He smiles broadly as he notices the knife you had knocked out of his hand was right at his side. His hand releases your neck, fingers slowly wrapping around the handle of the blade as he picks it up. You struggle against his grasp, your body thrashing wildly underneath his. “Better hold still, bunny. We wouldn’t want someone to get cut, would we?” He drags the dull side of the blade up your clothed stomach.
Your breath shudders out in the silence, watching the shiny steel blade glint in the low light. “You put up a good fight bunny.” He chuckles, gathering up the fabric of your shirt onto the edge of his blade before slicing through it. “Your struggling is only going to make this that much sweeter.” He smiles dangerously at you. He slides the flat side of the blade under your bra, between your breasts, twisting the knife upwards to quickly cut the thin strip of lace between the cups. Goosebumps littered your skin as a chill settled over your exposed body, the thin veil of sweat that covered your torso quickly stealing all your heat away. William breathes out a raspy groan at the sight of your naked form, leaning down to take one of your hardened nipples into his mouth. You can't stop a soft gasp from escaping your lips as you feel his tongue swirl around the sensitive bud. He catches it between his teeth, making you help, before pulling off of you. “I've barely touched you and you're already making such cute sounds, rabbit.” You can't help but blush as he traps you under his gaze. “I can only imagine how fucking pathetic you'll sound whimpering on my cock.” He chuckles. He presses the tip of the knife to your skin, just light enough that it wouldn't puncture your skin. “I wonder how loudly I can get you to scream for me.” His head dips into the crook of your neck, lips fluttering over the sensitive skin. You shudder as he pops off the button of your jeans with his blade, the metal clattering against the floor as he roughly rips your pants down your legs, grabbing both sides of the zipper he rips the denim down the seam, splitting the garment in half. He roughly runs at your clit through your panties with his thick fingers, causing you to cry out from the sensation.
“Already so fucking wet for me.” He growls, pressing against your entrance, making you squirm. “You liked being chased, bunny? Do you like knowing that I'll do absolutely anything to hunt you down and get my hands on you?” Hearing his gravelly tone made heat pool in your core. He hooked a finger into your panties, pulling the fabric back before letting it snap back against your clit, making you moan. “What was that rabbit?” He repeats the motions, making you let out another broken moan. He grabs the thin lace, ripping it with a loud tearing sound before fully removing it from your body. “Such a pretty little thing, I can't wait to fucking break you.” His breath was hot as it bounced against your cheek. Sharp teeth grazing over your skin before he presses a kiss to your temple. He cups your sex, you whimper as you push yourself against his hand, in desperate need of any type of friction. He coos at you, giving you a mocking pout. “Needy thing.” You yelp as he delivers a sharp slap to your clit, making tears prick at the corners of your eyes from the mixture of pleasure and pain. His fingers grow slick with your arousal as he rubs his fingers firmly over you in an attempt to ease the sting. His middle and ring finger dip inside of you, the ice cold metal of his wedding band paired with the delicious stretch of his thick digits making you yelp. He gives you no time to adjust, thrusting in and out of you at an animalistic pace, making you scream in absolute ecstasy as he rapidly works you right up to the edge of your climax. You sobbed as he suddenly pulls out of you, delivering another sharp slap to your clit, dulling your pleasure as you feel fat tears begin to streak down your cheeks. “Poor bunny, don't cry.” He smirks, licking away the salty trail that coated your skin. He pushes his fingers back inside of you, immediately picking up the same pace as before.
“Oh my fucking God!” You manage to yank one of your hands free, it immediately latches around his wrist as he mercilessly fucks you on your fingers.
“So fucking pretty rabbit, my little slut getting fucked dumb on my fingers. Look at how pathetic you are, you're already drooling.” He releases your other hand. He cups your cheek, his thumb running over your bottom lip before he pushes it into your mouth. You eagerly lap at it with your tongue, groaning around the digit as he repeatedly hits the spongy part inside of you that had the edges of your vision going white. “Fuck, you're so beautiful.” He groans, pressing the heel of his hand to your clit as he continues to fuck into you. Your eyes roll back in your head, biting lightly onto the thumb you held in your mouth. You could feel your orgasm welling up inside of you, your moans becoming desperate and needy as you felt yourself preparing to tip over the edge. “Don't you fucking cum.” He growls, not slowing his pace in the slightest.
“Please,” your voice was thick with tears as you begged him. “Please let me cum, ‘s too much.” Your words slurred as you struggled to form a sentence, your mind numb with pleasure. “I want to cum on your fingers please.” Your hips stuttered as he suddenly pulled out of you, your pussy clenching around nothing as your orgasm quickly faded.
“You haven't earned it.” He whispers gruffly against your ear. His strong hands knead your thighs, you hear a soft groan leave his mouth as he admires your glistening sex. His fingers ghost over your swollen clit, making your legs tremble as the sensitive bundle of nerves ached to be touched. His eyes hungrily scan over your body, the way your chest rapidly rises and falls with every breath, the tears that streaked down your face, your lips puffy and pink from you chewing on them in an attempt to keep quiet, to hide how good he was making you feel. The sight alone was enough to ignite something feral in him. You yelp as his teeth sink into your shoulder, hard enough that you knew there would be a perfect imprint of his bite left behind. William marked you as his in any way he could think of; dark love bites in every inch of your skin he could get his mouth on, crescents where his finger tips dug into your his as he fucked you senseless, the smell of his musky cologne permanently saturated into your skin from how closely he kept you pressed to him. You belonged to him and no one else, his pretty little rabbit. He fumbles with his belt and the fastenings on his pants, eventually managing to free his long, thick member. He taps the hot skin against your clit, making your whole body jolt. He pushes his hips fully against your cunt, making you whimper at the pressure. He releases his erection, letting it slap against your stomach. You swallowed thickly, his member appearing impossibly large to fit in your body but you knew he somehow would manage.
“Such a tiny little thing.” He groans. “I'm going to fuck my way into your stomach.” His voice comes out in a growl, he traced a line just under your navel where his pink tip ended. He ruts his hips against you a few times, letting out a gruff moan as he lets his cock get coated in your arousal, the friction of the firm muscle sliding over our aching sex making you mewl. He teases your clit a few times before lining up with your entrance, your hips jolted from him barely pushing inside of you. He curses under his breath. “You feel so fucking good.” He wraps his hand around the shaft, simultaneously stroking himself as he watches the tip of his cock disappear inside of your tight entrance. He gradually works you open, managing to push himself deeper inside of you with every thrust, your walls spasming around the intrusion as you cried out in pleasure. Your nails dig into his biceps, one hand still roughly holding your hips in place, making it impossible for you to squirm away. He takes his time pulling out of you to the tip only to push himself entirely inside of you, his hips pressing firmly into the plush of your thighs. You couldn't think straight, incoherent nonsense falling from your lips as you tried to formulate a string of words to beg him to let you finish. Your whole body burned with your impending orgasm, the feeling of him nestled right against your cervix making you see stars as you tried to fight through the nearly incomprehensible fullness of him member being stuffed inside of you. He roughly grabs your jaw, forcing your mouth open. He leans over you with a smirk, spitting directly onto your eagerly awaiting tongue.
“My slutty bunny.” He purrs, giving your face a small shake before letting your go. His grip on your hips grows impossibly tighter, he pulls all the way out of you before slamming you back down on his cock. You scream his name, your back arching off of the floor. The force he fucked you with was almost inhuman, his hips snapping perfectly against your clit as he bottomed out in you with every thrust. You clawed at him, bright red marks covering his pale skin. You didn't have any time to even ask for permission to finish, your orgasm ripped through you so quickly, you nearly blacked out from the intensity. You yelped as he delivers another sharp slap to your clit, this time it only added to the aftershocks of your orgasm that ripples through your body. “You wanted to cum on my cock that badly, hm?” He asks as he maintains his relentless pace. You could only nod in response, your brain utter mush as you felt your walls stretch around him. “I’ll make you cum then my dumb bunny.” He pouts. “You're going to keep cumming on my cock until I've decided you've had enough.” He snarls, thumb roughly swiping over your clit, the coil already beginning to tighten in your core. He noticed the pitch of your voice get higher, your cunt fluttering around him as he hit all the right places inside of you.
“Fuck, can I cum?” You whimper.
“That's not how we ask, rabbit.” He grabs a fistful of your hair, jerking your head back in order for you to look him in the eyes.
“Please can I cum, you feel so fucking good.” You manage to bed through gritted teeth. He grants you permission, your body goes rigid as you sob, your legs desperately trying to push yourself off of him but it was no use, his strong hands holding you exactly where he wanted you. The wet squelching noises you made were embarrassing, your cheeks darkening as you only heard yourself grow wetter with his every action. He flips you into all fours, your knees digging painfully into the tile as he hikes your hips up to line himself up with your entrance. Your legs gave out underneath you as he pushes inside, a string arm wrapping around your waist keeping you upright. Tears flowed freaky down your face, dripping from your chin and splattering onto the floor, you felt the heat of your next impending orgasm settle in your stomach, your body still utterly spent and overstimulated from your last one. One of his hands slip in between your legs to rub tight circles on your clit with his calloused fingers. Your moans echoed off the walls, sweat dripping down your spine, you struggled to keep your eyes open as you let yourself fully fall to William’s mercy.
“What's the matter bunny? Did I fuck you stupid?” He chuckles as he notices you're reduced to a whimpering, spasming mess below him. You clenched around him, your body struggling to keep up with his animalistic pace, his massive cock stretching you to your absolute limit. He buried his face in your hair, you feel his lips place a soft kiss to your neck. “You did such a good job sweetheart.” A whine leaves your throat at the sudden praise, your body going completely limp as he tears one last orgasm from you. His hips stuttered as he empties himself inside of you, his hot cum pooling deep in your core. He holds you close to him for a few moments after, the heat radiating from his chest keeping you warm as the sweat rapidly cooled down your body. He carefully pulls out of you, trying his best to avoid any discomfort. He scoops you up in his arms, cradling you against his chest. He carries you into the security office, pulling a blanket out from one of the desks drawers. He wraps you up in it, setting you down on the desk for a moment so he can pull his boxers back on. He settles you in his lap as he collapses back into the office chair.
He gently combs his fingers through your hair, untangling any knots he came across. “Are you okay bunny?” You nod, knowing he would want you to verbally respond to him.
“I'm just really tired.” You admit with a small laugh. “All the adrenaline wore off.”
“You were a tricky one this time.” He responds proudly. “I'm really glad I remembered to lock the back door this time or you probably would've won.” He presses a soft kiss to your forehead.
“I'll beat you one of these days.” You beam as you cuddle into his chest, allowing you to place a chaste kisa to his lips.
“Are you sure you're alright? I wasn't too rough with you, was I?” You could see the concern in his eyes. You had indulged in this little game because you knew it was something he enjoyed, he would never forgive himself if he ever hurt you, even accidentally.
“I'm perfectly fine honey.” You reach up and languidly rubs your thumb over his cheek. “I actually had a lot of fun.” The two of you share a loving smile.
“How about I help you get dressed so we can go home, I think we both need a nice hot bath.” He offers, tucking some hair behind your ear.
“That sounds wonderful.” You grin back at him in response. William is very careful with you, wanting to make sure that he took care of any soreness he had caused by massaging your muscles as he helped you into a spare set of clothes he kept around for when he destroyed the ones you were wearing. He kisses you softly as he places you in the passenger seat, your tires gaze of adoration making his heart beat quicken. “I love you Will.” Your lips brushed his as you kept him close.
“And I love you, rabbit.”

no chances part two | ellie williams
Tumblr media
˗ˏˋ"don't even say it, it was a mistake." ´ˎ˗
pairing: ellie x afab reader warnings: 18+, foul language, mean!ellie kinda, only one bed trope, (eventual) smut between reader n ellie synopsis: you and ellie are on rival volleyball teams and your dangerously competetive nature gets the better of the two of you. author note: the love i got on the first part was truly overhwleming i was not expecting it!! but ily guys sm heres part two! i'm building up to the smut cus i love me some tension sorry not sorry, there will b a part three so no worries :))
ellie planted herself down on the front steps in defeat, watching as the buses disappeared from sight. you remained standing, hands on your hips in thought. it had been a private game, so there were no spectators, the parking lot was empty and the building behind the two of you was now dark. in desperation you went back to the doors you had just left, hoping anyone inside had a phone you could use.
as you tugged on the doors they didn’t budge, and you peered into the small window. the hallway was dark, the only light coming from the gymnasium that was probably being cleaned. you pounded on the doors but no one came into view and you cursed turning back to the one person you would never want to be in this situation with.
ellie was quiet, thinking of anything she could do. all she had wanted was to go home, and now with the awkwardness of what just transpired in the bathroom– she was determined to get there. but how? her phone was trapped in her backpack on the bus and all she had on her was her wallet that bulged from her sweatpants pocket. she huffed before standing back up, still facing the road in front of the two of you. “i’m walking, do what you want.” the words left her mouth as she descended the small steps onto the pavement.
“that’ll take like–” you paused, following her down the steps and doing the math in your head. “twelve hours!”
“beats this,” she said nonchalantly, still walking away from you.
your eyebrows furrowed at her attitude towards you, the familiar hatred for her returning this time just beyond the volleyball court. “fine. enjoy your walk.” you replied dryly, turning on your heel to walk in the opposite direction the buses went and ellie’s head turned not hearing you follow her anymore and she stopped in her tracks.
“what are you doing?” she questioned with annoyance in her voice, though not sure why she was asking at all. your arms crossed and you kept walking away from her.
“walking,” you yelled back to her matter-of-factly.
“your campus is this way, genius.” ellie retorted loudly, still standing in place watching you walk further away from her.
you laughed at her. “there’s a hotel this way. have fun on your twelve hour walk, though!”
ellie cursed under her breath and felt a pang of guilt strike her chest. her head swiveled from her original direction and back to you. you still only had on the large hoodie, your bare legs out in the cold and she knew she couldn’t let you go alone. it was already really late and the only light came from the small street lamps that scattered the road, if she was being honest she figured you’d follow her all the way back to her own campus but she didn’t anticipate you being difficult in a situation like this.
ellie let you walk a few more steps before finally caving in and sprinting to catch up to you. she told herself it was because she didn’t want to walk for twelve hours, pushing away any other thoughts of why she followed you. she walked behind you quietly, not admitting defeat but it was present in her actions and you laughed to yourself in front of her.
it was silent for a while, the only sound coming from your feet scraping on the ground below you and the occasional noise from the woods beside you. it had felt like you two had walked for hours already but really it was only twenty minutes in silence. ellie had put her hands in her pockets, keeping her gaze to the ground as she trudged on behind you. she thought about the bathroom and how if she had just walked away instead of whatever that was, she would probably be in bed by now. her face turned sour at the thought and her annoyance bubbled over into anger.
“where the fuck is this hotel anyway?” she sneered behind you and you snapped your head back at the sudden outburst from her.
“few more miles– whats wrong? can’t handle a little walk?” you asked her, rotating to face her and walking backwards. as you teased her, you felt your own legs grow tired but ignored it. ellie looked at you, she hadn’t noticed but you tucked your arms into your sweater for warmth and a twinge of guilt threatened to tug at her but she very quickly dismissed it.
“seems like you can’t,” her words escaped her, motioning with her hands to your cold disposition and you scoffed, turning back around.
“i’m fine. this is your fault, so i don’t know why you’re complaining.” you returned her attitude, eyes focused on the dark road ahead of you. the sidewalk had vanished and you two walked along the side of the street, the lamps doing little to help illuminate the world around you, so you relied on the moon's glow.
“my fucking fault?” she all but yelled, “i tried to be nice and you were just being a fucking bitch.” she spat, her words cold as ice. you knew you could’ve easily avoided this if you had just said a simple thank you and returned to your bus, but you were in no position to let her know that and it just made you all the more angry, so you doubled down.
“yes, your fault! we wouldn’t have missed the bus if you hadn’t–”
“dont even say it,” she muttered behind you, not wanting to relive the moment but in the back of her mind she was replaying it. your hands in her hair, your body pressed so firmly against yours she could feel everything and she shook her head. “it was a mistake.”
“colossal.” you emphasized, your tone laced with hatred as your own mind recounted the moment. her tongue that had only been used to hurl insults at you instead fighting its way into your mouth and how good it had felt. your hand reached up to your lips at the thought, wiping away any trace of ellie that was left.
it went quiet again, ellie’s feet dragged on the ground behind you. your own strides had slowed down as you grew more tired and ellie was right on your heels. she noticed your legs, goosebumps littered the surface of your skin and she sighed to herself, “you’re freezing, just admit it.” and although trying to help, her tone sounded antagonizing.
“i’m fine,” your voice trembled and you involuntarily shivered, the cold really was bothering you. but you’d be damned to admit defeat in front of her, so you ignored the numbness that plagued your legs and face trying to conceal as much heat in your hoodie as possible.
she rolled her eyes, and before she could convince herself otherwise she was yanking off her sweatpants. she had her shorts on underneath, and told herself she was already warm enough before poking you in the shoulder, sweatpants balled up in her hand. your head turned, seeing her offer and you quickly spun your head back around to the road in front of you. “i told you i’m fine.” but you were freezing, and her sweatpants looked so comfortable right now. so warm.
“you’re not fucking fine, i can see you shivering just fuckin’ take them,” she came up beside you, shoving them into your concealed hands. “jesus christ.” she breathed out, shaking her head.
“well sorry if i’m not open to your kindness,” you replied sarcastically, taking the sweatpants and slowing down to pull them on, they smelled like her strongly but you didn’t mind. “last time you tried to be nice, your mouth like, assaulted my mouth.”
she scoffed beside you, not looking as you lifted the pants up your legs. but slowing down with you as you did. “just don’t need you dying of hypothermia, i have no clue where this hotel is.” she rebutted, ignoring that she gave you her sweatpants because she couldn’t stand seeing you cold, even if she didn’t know why.
“sure,” was all you said, now with her beside you. feeling warmer already, you felt relieved to not be as cold. you knew that her reasoning was bullshit, but you’d never verbalize that to her, she would never admit it anyway. her pride was too big, especially with you and the competitive nature you two had so you both walked in silence yet again. but the quiet made your mind wander to her lips and you broke the silence, wishing the thoughts to leave your mind. “so…”
“so… what?” she replied almost instantly, still looking forward but catching you glancing at her in her peripheral view and her hands tried to conceal themselves in her pockets before she remembered you were now wearing her pants.
racking your brain for anything to say, you landed on something you knew she was passionate about. “uhh, how’d you get into volleyball?”
she laughed, but in a way that indicated she was laughing at you. “that’s what you wanna ask me?”
“fine, we can just walk in silence for another hour.” you sighed, dramatically scraping your feet on the cement. ellie’s eyes rolled at your response and she sighed as well. the walk was already brutal and she was getting cold and rather than suffer in silence, she caved and responded.
“it supports my scholarship, so if i play well i don’t have to make my dad pay out of pocket.” she admitted, not looking at you once. feeling vulnerable with her words, and hated that she was talking to you about this. she preferred to know as little about you as possible but she didn’t stop herself from asking, “what about you?”
you listened to her response, not entirely sure what to say back. most if not all of your interactions with ellie were mean spirited, and hearing her voice be so soft threw you off. “my whole family are volleyball players, all liberos actually. i grew up with it,” you planned on stopping there, hesitant to share details with her but for some reason you continued, “my parents want me to make it my career–”
“is that what you want?” she cut you off suddenly hearing the distance in your voice.
“i mean, yeah…” you trailed off, looking into the dark woods beside the road trying not to notice the way ellie was now staring at you.
“doesn't sound like it,” her tone was still soft, but her accusation made you look at her. the cold now present in her own face, the redness hiding the freckles that scattered her skin.
“you don’t know me.” you said harshly, probably harsher than you had intended. but there was something about ellie that made it so easy to be mad at her.
“okay, okay,” her hands went up defensively. “just sounds like–”
“it just sounds like you want me to quit.”
“i didn’t say that,” she responded quickly, her usual snarky tone returning. “if you did quit, my team would be undefeated.”
a smile crept onto your face, “so you’re admitting that i’m the only reason my team beats yours?”
ellie stammered, realizing her words. “i didn’t say that either.”
“but you implied it,” you teased, the smile on your face not faltering. “just admit it, you think i’m so good that i’m the only reason your team isn’t undefeated.”
“i’m not admitting shit,” ellie scoffed, looking anywhere but at you.
“you don’t have to i guess, your words already gave you away.” you gloated, and ellie rolled her eyes, mentally telling herself to just stop talking before she lets it slip that she’s been admiring how you play for weeks. she could barely admit it to herself, but her eyes always wandered to you on the court and she didn’t put two and two together that she actually commended your athleticism.
“whatever, dude.” she sighed, kicking small rocks with her feet as she walked. “is it really another hour?” she asked, trying to change the subject.
you were too tired to care she was avoiding furthering the conversation, suddenly your legs felt like a hundred pounds and every step you took hurt worse than the last. “i was guessing, i really don’t know,” you admitted. you weren’t sure how long you two had been walking but it felt like hours already and you weren't sure how much longer you could go.
ellie groaned quietly beside you, her own body failing her and she was on the verge of just sleeping on the road. but she was determined to keep going, not wanting to let you walk alone in the dead of night.
as if every god in the universe felt how close you both were to giving up, the hotel came into view. it was desolate and surrounded by trees on all sides, it looked like it was the last resort to anyone who would ever stay there but as you two got closer to the building, it seemed more and more welcoming.
you both all but ran to the front doors, ellie reached there first holding the door for you to go inside, despite the numbness in her body from the cold screaming at her to hurry. she pulled the door closed behind her and felt the warmth of the hotel embrace her. looking around, it was clear this hotel wasn’t a well-funded one. the paint peeled off the yellow walls and the stench of cigarettes was nearly over bearing, the lobby was empty except for a small desk.
the old woman behind the desk woke up as the door shut, lifting her head from the table and staring at you two with a hateful look for waking her up. “yes?” she asked groggily, rubbing her wrinkled eyes.
“can we use your phone to call a cab?” you asked desperately not wanting to stay here for the night despite how tired you were.
“no cab services after midnight,” she hissed and the shock of the time change didn’t phase you but ellie realized you two had walked for over two hours.
“an uber? a lyft? anything?” you asked with a tone ellie knew all too well.
“i dont own one of them smartphones, girl.” the old woman snarled back at you and ellie stepped in front of you without thinking, not liking the way she spoke to you.
“two rooms then, if you can even do that.” ellie snapped at her, feeling defensive.
the old woman gasped at ellies comment, “well, i never…”
“well now you have grandma. so, those rooms?” you spewed coming up beside ellie to the counter. ellie bit her lip to keep from laughing, normally you were only nasty with her and she kind of assumed you were a delight to everyone else. but she was wrong, and she wasn’t mad about it.
the old lady scoffed, deliberately ignoring you and she looked at the computer in front of her. after a few moments of silence, her wrinkly eyes only met ellies. “only one room available, here.” she held up a dainty key. “check out is at eleven am sharp.” she finished rudely.
“this place is a ghost town, lady. there’s gotta be more than just one room,” ellie replied, her elbow resting on the counter as she spoke.
the woman remained firm in her words, “take it or leave it,” she said with a shrug. “pay in the morning on your way out.” she shoved the key into ellie’s hand and her gaze shifted back to the computer trying to look busy.
ellie sighed, taking the key to examine the room number. you looked too, seeing a sloppily written three. the walk to the room was quiet, and the reality of sharing a room only became a problem when the door opened, revealing only one small bed against the wall. “you’ve gotta be kidding me.” you whispered, walking into the room. taking a look around, it was truly gross and a sad excuse for a hotel.
“not happening,” ellie remarked quickly, motioning to the bed as she brushed past you into the room.
“does the floor look more appealing to you?” you asked her, your tiredness pouring out in the form of annoyance. “i’m not sleeping on the floor.”
she didn’t intend for you to sleep on the floor, she was prepared to do that herself but as she got a closer look she realized you were right. the carpet was somehow damp, filling the room with a stale smell. “whatever just–” she waved her arms around. “stay on your side.”
“happily,” you fired back. the room was cold, as if this place couldn’t get worse but ellie’s sweatpants kept you somewhat warm, but you couldn’t help but feel guilty keeping them on while she was all but shivering on the bed. “um– your sweats?”
ellie had laid down on her back with her arm resting above her head. her eyes had shut but she opened them as you spoke. you were standing at the foot of the bed with an expression ellie couldn’t read plastered on your face. “i don’t care,” she muttered, closing her eyes again.
“you’re not cold?” you asked and you wondered why you even cared if she so clearly didn’t.
“i’m fine.” she responded, her eyes remaining closed. but she wasn’t, in fact she was freezing but she couldn’t bring herself to take them back from you.
you scoffed lightly, walking to the other side of the bed. you laid with your back facing her, the closest to the edge of the bed you could get. you got as comfortable as you could before you spoke again, annoyed at her. “you’re impossible,”
“would you just lay down and shut up?” she groaned, adjusting her body to get more comfortable.
“you shut up, im trying to sleep.” you fired back. the childishness of your arguing returning because she just knew how to get under your skin just perfectly. ellie’s eyes opened and she turned to look at you and found you facing away from her.
“you’re the one still fuckin’ talking!”
“no, you are!” your body turned, not facing her but laying on your back so you could peer at her. hatred swimming in your eyes.
“oh my god, just please be quiet.” her hand reaching up to squeeze the bridge of her nose in frustration.
“let’s not forget why were in this situation, yeah?” your tone was harsh, snapping your head back to face away from her, not even being able to look at her anymore. “and whose fault that is.”
she groaned in response, not being able to come up with anything to say. she knew it was her fault but throwing it in her face wasn’t easing her temper. she opened her eyes, noticing you had turned back over and her mind went silent as she saw you laying so comfortably in her sweatpants. she didn’t respond any further, shutting her eyes quickly to ignore the sight of you. the silence remained and you both fell asleep.
kind of.
the cold room kept ellie from a deep sleep and she stirred constantly trying to get comfortable enough to finally rest. she was in a state of being half awake, her mind foggy and nearly forgetting the night she had. she could hear your soft snores next to her, reminding her she wasn’t alone in the cold. without even thinking about who was next to her, she shuffled her body closer, draping her arm over you. you rustled in your sleep, feeling her arm come over your stomach. also being too tired to remember who it was that was sleeping next to you, you pushed your body back into hers to be closer. her arm tightened around you and you nuzzled into the cuddle.
being half awake, the side you had been sleeping on ached against the rock hard bed. with her arm still wrapped around you firmly, you were able to roll over, feeling your body relax as you did. eyes still closed, mind still groggy and not caring because you finally felt warm. ellie’s sweatpants helped, but you were still freezing, as if someone was blowing cold air into the room.
ellie’s arm repositioned itself around your waist and your head rested right under her chin as you snuggled closer. her hand placed itself on your back underneath your hoodie and even though ellie was finally falling into a deep sleep, she rubbed your back absentmindedly. your arm that was once pressed against your chest, crawled it’s way up beneath the arm that was enveloping around you and fell behind her.
with this, ellie sleepy rolled onto her back, retracting her arm that was around you, mindlessly dragging her hand across your arm that still remained over her. your body moved with hers in sync, your head now laying on her chest and your leg hiked up, resting on her legs. she wrapped her other arm around your back, her hand finding the spot on your back and continuing to rub softly. you hummed as she did, her heartbeat prominent in your ears lulling you back to sleep.
feeling warm with you practically on top of her, ellie drifted back asleep. and it wasn’t until the sun was peeking through the small window in the room that her eyes fully opened, and saw the position you two were in. her first instinct was to shove you off of her, but she looked down at your peaceful, sleeping face and couldn’t bring herself to do it. she glanced at the clock on the nightstand, it was still really early and she thought a few more hours wouldn’t kill either of you. she was too tired to move, so she shut her eyes again, shuffling ever so slightly.
you rustled awake at her movements and her eyes opened quickly, meeting yours as you lifted your head. her hand that had been placed on your back for the better part of the night moved to the back of your head, gently playing with your hair, “go back to sleep,” she whispered, her eyes shutting.
your eyes fluttered as she did this and you spoke in a hushed tone, “ellie we–”
“i know, i know,” she muttered faintly, her eyes still closed. “s’fine, just go back to sleep.”
you didn’t protest, too sleepy too and feeling wrapped in her arms didn’t bother you as much as you thought it would. you nuzzled your head into her neck again, feeling the warmth her body brought to you, slowly forgetting every bad thing she has ever said to you and sleep came before you knew it.

✿ inumaki toge x reader
✿ warnings: reader bullies toge, creep toge, knife usage, knife play, non con to dub con to ???, dark content, p in v, creampie, inumaki uses his cursed speech to get consent so noncon!!!
Tumblr media
Inunaki had an eye on you for a little whine. Always lurking behind something just to see your figure. He was star-struck by you. The main reason he fell in love instantly was your beautiful body.
You were bigger than him. He never thought it would turn him so much, but here you were. And it wasn't just your high even though you were good 20 cm taller than him. He also loved the plush of your stomach. Every time, you would wear a tighter dress, he could see the fabric stretch around your belly. And he's not even talking about your boobs.
"Did you follow me again, creep?" you spit into his face, putting both of your hands next to his head. He knows he should feel scared, but he's so turned on right now, he wants to smirk. He wants to laugh that he finally got this close to you.
"What? Can't you speak?" you heard the rumors about the mute kid who spoke only to get other people to do what he wanted, but you never paid attention to it. After all, he's just a creep who wouldn't stop following you everywhere. At this point, you can't even cross the street without him going in the opposite direction.
"Oh, fuck you. I don't have time to deal with people like you-" You freeze when a knife blade is pressed against your stomach. Your eyes go wide, and before you can say anything, he mutters, "Shut up."
Your mouth locks shut, and as much as you try to speak, no words leave your mouth. You look around for help, but the whole corridor is empty except for the two of you. There's only one thing you can do, run to the door. You sprint away from him, trying to get away before he uses his knife on you.
"stop."
Your body freezes at the stop, and you turn away to see him walking right up to you.
"Lay down."
"I gonna have my way with you now." he smiles down at you, caressing your cheek with the knife blade. He doesn't waste any time taking your boobs in your hands. They feel even bigger and firmer in his hands. He thought you were at least a DD cup, but you might be even bigger. A blade pierces through your shirt, ripping it to shreds. You want to scream at him, but it's for no use.
"Come on, I know you like it," he says and hot feelings spread around your whole body. As much as you were disgusted by him, suddenly his touch feels good. And when you look up at him, he's not that ugly you thought he was.
He sits on your stomach, looking at your boobs as if it was the prettiest art in the whole world. He doesn't even know if he should touch such art. It's great that you aren't wearing a bra so that he has easy access, but he wants to take off your bra next time so he can watch them fall and so that he knows how to unclip the bra.
His whole body feels so small compared to yours. He feels like a kitten that sits on your stomach. inumaki can't help but lay down on your body, kissing your neck. He reaches for your mouth so he can slide his tongue inside of it. It's messy and overall disgusting, and you're sure, he's never done this before… but you feel good. It's probably before that spell he cast on you, but you're not complaining.
He finally gets to your panties, examining how he should cut them. It would be such a waste to cut something as precious as this. After some thinking, he pulls them down your legs, smiling hard when he notices your juices coating them.
He wants to eat you out so badly, he thinks to himself. But his cock screams for attention. He spends so much time with his cock in his fist to waste any more time.
He pulls out his cock, and you moan from the size of it. He's a bit bigger than the others, it's true, and he loves the reaction he got from you.
His fingers swipe through your juices, collecting your juices in his hands. He covers his cock in your juices before slamming inside of you without any warning. You yelp, your fingers digging into his back. He's mean, and he doesn't give you any time to adjust to his length.
His thrusts show that he's pretty inexperienced, maybe even a virgin. That's probably true because nobody wants to get close to him, let alone fuck him. But god, he feels so fucking good. You can't believe you got so wet just for him, even though it's probably him who did something to your body that made you this wet. he abuses your pussy in the best way imaginable, fucking his cock through your hole so godly.
Louder moans espace your mouth when he finally hits your sweet spot. He chuckles, knowing that he finally found it. He focuses on your g spot, hips stuttering right into it. You want to show him how to use his big cock to make you feel even better, but right now, this is enough for you. Slowly but surely, he's bringing you to your orgasm.
You can feel that he's close too. He can't focus on anything else other than your pussy, his cock getting lost inside of you. His hips are unorganized and messy, but it's more than enough to make you cum. Your whole vision goes white as you cum around his cock, shaking under his body.
The unbelievable tightness of your cunt brings him right over the edge too, and he cums inside of you, much to your scream. Finally, now you realize what you let him do. he watches as his cum spills out of your pussy with a satisfied smirk.
"You're the worst," you tell him, still lying on the ground while he dresses.
"I might be, but you can't help but cum just from seeing me," he says, your whole body tensing again as you cum. You can't believe what just happened, how is he able to do that?
"I'm gonna forgive you for your attitude. after all, you love me."
he doesn't seem so bad after all.

John Price/female reader The Ocean Anthology
Tumblr media
You're not overly familiar with wolves.
On the zoology side, you preferred marine animals. As a child, you preferred the aquarium to the zoo, the beach to the park, water instead of land. Something about the sea, floating weightless beneath a tide, modeling your own movements after tail fins and flippers, salt water drying on your skin at the surface.
The wild of the open ocean, unending depths, reaching where light could not touch, soothed something in your heart. It always had.
Which is why, when you looked out your kitchen window into the duplex's shared backyard and saw Aly, seated with criss crossed legs, ten meters from the largest wolf you've ever seen in your life, you screamed.
It was the surprise, twisting your vocal chords into a strangled cry, the shock and fear echoing past the frame of the house and into the gnarled slope, that had Aly turning back to peer at you, had the wolf lowering it's head in what you could only assume was a predatory lean.
"Aly." Your voice trembled when you made it onto the back deck, a hand outstretched, beckoning her back to safety. The wolf inches away, shying from your panic, the scent of your fear souring the breeze. It's stale, and sharp, and your heart thunders in your ears, rapid beat wild in your veins.
She did not even spare you a glance.
"It's okay." She calls over her shoulder. "She'd never hurt me." She? You look around. Where is John?
"Aly. Come inside." Your force yourself steady, pushing authority, what little of it you possess, into the syllables.
And then, a softer plea, from someone who doesn't understand. "Please." The wolf, massive and grey with tinges of orange and brown, watches you, golden, glinting eyes, upper lip curled, revealing devastatingly sharp teeth. It steps away, up into the cover of the trees, drifting into the darkness of the forest, glow of it's face in the morning rays just barely visible.
The little girl sighs, unfolding herself and brushing dirty palms against her coat.
"You scared her." Fogged breath rolls from her mouth, and all you can do is stare, incredulous, as she rolls her eyes and traipses over to her back door, giving you a skeptical look before stepping inside.
What the fuck was that?
You find yourself on a twisted forest path later that night. Unable to sleep, you walk towards the harbor, cutting through a side trail you've seen John on in the mornings, and others, occasionally.
It's just a side trail. Close to the road. You'll be fine.
The woman's warning from your first night at the bar vibrates in your bones.
Skip the shortcuts through the forest at night.
Warnings, pleas, instructions from John, all laid to waste in your trek, bundled up in your warmest jacket, gloves and hat. Your jeans stick to your thighs, cold prickling between the friction, headlamp illuminating the way, red light casting shadow into the forest, a thick fog settled in around the way.
You're not walking long, when you hear the first snap. You whirl, light pointed in the direction of the noise, to find nothing but silent woods, branches hanging low with the weight of icy winter.
Something cracks at your back. Something sharp, splintering through the fog's silence.
Your shoulder's raise. Your lungs go still.
Fear wraps around your throat, and chokes.
Don't look. Don't look.
John's voice echoes in your memory, severe blue gaze and downturned lips, opposite you at the table.
"Run."
You turn on your heel, digging into the dirt, and sprint. Around you, brush crashes. Branches and twigs break. There's a glimpse of paws, long strides eating the distance between yourself and your pursuer, panic bubbling up in your chest as you push yourself to the brink.
Faster.
To your left, a streak of white. Large, and graceful, taking downed logs and large branches with ease, cutting closer and closer, your movements growing clumsy each second.
The road, the house, are eons away. They might as well be on the other side of the earth, sanctuary vanishing before your very eyes.
From your left, from your right, breathing grows louder. Growls and yips and a howl bounce off the density of the darkness, heading you off.
Hunting you.
You can feel them. Wild, untamed lupine prowess stalks closer. Playing with their prey before they close you off from the end of the path completely. You're a child again, running into bed after flicking off the lights, terrified of what lurks beneath your bed. Sprinting up the basement stairs, hoping you'll be safe as soon as you touch the door handle and burst into the light.
Your tears come, sob ripping through your chest, a bleat of terror sounding off like a gunshot. You stay focused on the dark frame that's just in view, trying to outrun the snarling brutality chasing you.
When you find the road, you don't stop. You push yourself harder, faster, until the house is in sight, exhaustion turning your feet into concrete blocks, sending you pitching forward-
into a thick, warm, chest.
"What are you-" hands grip your upper arms, holding you steady, holding you close. An embrace of cedar and cigar, wilderness and ocean wrapping you up.
John.
"I- There- I saw-" You can't get it out. Tongue as clumsy as your limbs, you go limp and tremble.
The forest behind you is dead silent. Still.
"Shhh now." He murmurs, hand cupping the back of your head. It's large, nearly the size of your skull, and you press your nose to his jacket, gasping. "It's alright. You're alright."
"W-wolves." You bite, and his muscles go tense, neck rigid. You can feel torsion, the survey of the land behind you.
You brace for the scolding you know you've earned. The admonishment you deserve. "I'm sorry, I c-couldn't sleep, and thought I'd just... I'd walk. I'm sorry."
"It's alright, love. They're gone. You're safe." Love. The word suggests familiarity, affection, and you blink. He's gentle, still holding you close, grip firm and tense. You should pull away, salvage your dignity, your sanity.
You're a scientist. Not a child. What kind of display is this?
It all falls away, his thumb stroking a slow circle behind your ear. "Let's get you inside, hm?" You nod, still unsteady, and he wraps his arm around your shoulder, tucking you close. Adrenaline keeps you in unsteady limbo, hands shaking so badly you're forced to press them against your heart.
He keeps you in his side the entire walk back, murmuring softly, accent lilting on the night's breeze. He helps you with your key when your fingers can't quite get a good grip, pushing your door wide and flicking on the lamp, pale yellow glow comforting in the inky black.
When he sits you down on the couch, you don't protest. He handles you carefully, long touch on your knee, turning with a distant expression, gaze fixed out the window. "Need you to be good and listen to me from now on. Don't want anything happening to ya."
"I know." You croak. You do, now. Before... before, you didn't take any stock in it. Averse to being told what to do, naturally resistant.
Now. Now you see.
"They were so close." you try to explain, avoiding his eyes. "Like they... like they were-"
"Hunting." You look up, big breath trying to fill your lungs, and he gives you a grim smile, palm still cupped over your knee. Something else starts to unfurl in the pit of your stomach, butterflies shaking the terror and spreading their wings, fluttering anxiously against your ribcage. His proximity suffocates you, too warm, too close, and it clouds the space between your bodies, confusion roaring in your mind. He clears his throat.
"Get some sleep." At the door, he turns back one last time, and gives you a nod, expectantly. Like he knows you'll take yourself right upstairs and curl into bed, bury yourself beneath a mountain of blankets. "Goodnight."
"Goodnight, John."

Killer reactions to a legally blind reader who had their glasses stolen from them during a trial. (Part one).
Notes: non-binary reader. Warnings for minor, non-graphic violence and injuries.
...
Frank
He found your glasses by an unfinished generator and picked them up. Why were these here? Didn't you need them?
"David? David, give them back. This isn't funny." He heard you say from a distance.
Frank followed the direction of your panicked calls and soon found you stumbling along the trees, your arms out and eyes harshly squinted. Those imbecile team mates of yours must have stolen your glasses. Welp....
Time to give them back.
"Missing something?" He said teasingly, stopping behind you.
You gasped and whipped around, squinting your eyes and asking anxiously, "Who-whose there?"
"Oh, you know, just the delivery boy," Frank walked forward, grabbed your hand and swiftly placed the glasses inside. Then he stepped back and watched as you quickly struggled to put them on, your body going rigid when your eyes adjusted and you saw exactly who it was that returned your glasses to you.
Behind his mask, Frank smirked, amused by the expression of utter disbelief, shock and fear on your adorable face. You were frozen, unable to move as you stared at him as if waiting for something to happen.
He took a few steps closer to you causing you to flinch and whimper in fear. "Shouldn't I get a 'thank you'?" He asked, tilting his head expectantly.
You nodded quickly, saying in a mixture of fear and gratitude, "Th-thank you... very much."
Hmp. Man, you were cute. Frank lifted his hand out, grabbed an edge of your glasses and gently adjusted them. "You're welcome," He said pleasantly, brushing your cheek with a knuckle before turning away to resume the trial.
Caleb
He saw your glasses fall from Meg's hand when he shot her, and he picked them up a few seconds later wondering why she had them in the first place. If he heard correctly, you couldn't see anything without them. So why did Meg have them?
Caleb found out the answer when he saw you struggling to work on a generator. When you heard his footsteps, you anxiously stood up and asked, "Meg? I-is that you? Please, give me my glasses back, I need them."
"Oh, thems 'yir' glasses I got 'ere?" Caleb couldn't help but to tease.
He watched with a chuckle as recognition and then horror bloomed across your face, and you gasped brokenly, turning away to try and feel for an escape. But you were boxed in by the generator, the pillar, and him.
With no other alternative, you hunched in on yourself, shaking in fear while awaiting whatever horrid torment he had in mind for you. "Well hey now, don't go gettin' all scared on me," Caleb set his gun down and stepped closer to you, "Ya want yir second eyes back?"
You whimpered, nodding nervously, "Y-yes... Please?"
"Hold still then," Caleb examined the glasses before going to gently slide them back onto your face. He stayed standing in front of you, eager to see your reaction, "There. That better for ya, sugar?"
He watched as you touched the glasses as if they were a foreign object, your lashes fluttering as you look at him with awe and disbelief. "Thank you," You whispered so softly he barely heard you.
Caleb snickered playfully, leaning closer and mumbling lowly, "This mean I get a reward?"
Bubba
He saw you bumping into walls right after Jake took off sprinting in the opposite direction, and he muttered in suspicion while making his way towards you. At the sound of his chainsaw, you cried in panic and attempted to get away only to trip and fall down.
Bubba squealed in concern, immediately setting aside his chainsaw and hammer so that he could kneel down and help you back up. He chirped in confusion when he saw the lack of glasses on your face, your squinting eyes outlining your dilemma.
"Just kill me," You whined hopelessly, "Th-they took my glasses. I can't see... Just kill me, please."
They stole your glasses? What monsters! Bubba squealed loudly in remorse, his hands patting your back and shoulders as he guided you to sit against the wall. Muttering lowly, he caressed your head and patted your shoulder as a silent command to stay put.
Grabbing his chainsaw and hammer, Bubba took off in search for your glasses. He was angry, and it didn't take him long to kill people whenever he was angry. Within fifteen minutes he had slaughtered the other three survivors, retrieved your glasses, and returned to your side.
Bending down, Bubba carefully placed your glasses back on your face, grinning big in endearment. You were so precious! What Jake did was mean. He squealed, grabbing your hands and helping you up.
"Thank you, Bubba," You say gratefully.
Bubba squealed and hugged you, fondly nuzzling the top of your head. Then he reached down, intersected your hands and began guiding you down the hall. Let's go find you the hatch!
Jeffrey
He witnessed your glasses fall from Nea's hand when he threw her on the hook, and he picked them up with a raised brow. "Ya steal these from (y/n)?" He asked in a dangerous tone.
Nea's answer didn't satisfy him, and let's just say she ended up eviscerated. Afterwards, Jeffrey spent a lot of time hunting you down, cursing when he couldn't find you.
Eventually, he did catch you hiding in a locker. When he wrenched the doors open, he took in the sad sight of you crying in fear and misery, your hands covering your face. "This ain't no way to greet ol' Jeffrey, is it?" He asked, licking his lips.
The way you sniffled and cried harder made him grunt in dissatisfaction. "Here," He nudged your glasses against your arm, "Put them on. Ya ain't no fun when ya can't see."
"Huh?" You blinked in shock, blindly grabbing your glasses and staring at him breathlessly, "You... You're?"
"Waitin' for some appreciation? Yeah, I think I am," Jeffrey huffed, standing back and watching as you slid your glasses on, looking at him shyly. God, you were delectable.
"Thank you," You nodded in visual appreciation, albeit still terrified, "I... I'm sorry they did that..."
"Ain't no reason apologizin' to me," Jeffrey coughed and allowed you enough room to exit the locker. "Besides... Who'd I be not to help my favorite little snack?"
You gasped when Jeffrey grabbed your hand and lifted it to his mouth, a shudder vibrating through you as he slid his lips across his favorite finger of yours. You blushed heavily, rushing away flustered when he let you go.
Herman
He saw you struggling to seal the wound on your shoulder and soon noticed that you didn't have your glasses. Rumor had it that you were legally blind, and every other time he encountered you, you always had your glasses.
Unleashing his mouth guards, Herman walked closer to you and asked gently, "Miss/Mr. (y/n), where are your glasses?"
"O-ow," You whimpered in pain after messing up patching your shoulder, your body shaking as you braced for an attack, "They were stolen."
"By who?" Herman stopped in front of you, setting down his weapon.
"Yui," You answer sadly.
"Here. May I help you?" Herman kneeled down, skillfully ignoring the Entity as he helped wrap your wounded shoulder. "I apologize for her misbehavior. Should I find your glasses, I will return them to you."
"Wh... Why?" You whispered, squinting your worthless eyes at him, "Why are you helping me?"
Herman didn't answer until he was done bandaging your wound, his eyes glowing pink as he gazed upon you, "What kind of man would I consider myself to be to take advantage of you in such a way?"
As your eyes went wide at his words, Herman stood, grabbed his weapon and briefly promised to return if he was successful in finding your glasses.
After about ten minutes when you were on a generator, Herman handed you your glasses and nodded at your thankful gesture before taking off in a different direction leaving you smiling warmly at his kindness.
Michael
He was in the distance stalking whenever he witnessed Feng steal your glasses and run off leaving you searching helplessly for anchorage. That no good traitor. She made the wrong decision treating you this way.
Leaving you be, Michael hunted down Feng and killed her. Once he realized that she didn't have your glasses, he went and killed the other two survivors but to no avail. Apparently none of them had your glasses.
On his way through the fields searching for you, Michael spotted your glasses broken and shattered on the ground. Guess he wouldn't be returning them after all.
Pinpointing your confused location, Michael marched up to you and peered down at your flinching, helpless figure. As soon as you realized that he wasn't going to harm you, you timidly asked, "Michael?"
Upon confirmation, Michael reached down and grabbed your wrist in a gentle but firm grip. You gasped and tensed up, but otherwise did not fight. "Wh-what's going on?" You whimpered, stumbling in whatever direction he led you.
Michael, unable to respond, simply continued to guide you to the hatch. Those insolent team mates of yours sure were quite the unreliable losers. He had fun killing them. It was a shame that you couldn't see. You might have liked the revenge he conjured for you.
Reaching the hatch, Michael let you go, smirking behind his mask when you grabbed his sleeve and bashfully said, "Thank you... Thank you so much."

Hello darling🫶🏼 I hope everything is okay🥹 I love the way you write, it’s sooo feel so real!

Everyone says long distance is difficult. And when your partner needs physical contact and quality time, they really aren't joking.
Her and Lando had been making long-distance work for the last year and a half. Her living in Italy for work and Lando living in Monaco. Sure, they see each other in at races, but working for different teams really doesn't help anything.
Hope came in the form of teleworking. Finally, they'd managed to make it so she could do work from home, working remotely from the factory.
Did she tell Lando? Yes. Was she hoping to move to Monaco with him? Also, yes. But she also didn't want to just straight up ask him. That could make him uncomfortable, and then it would be awkward. Instead, she leaves it alone. Patiently waiting for Lando to maybe ask her.
On the other side of things, Lando could not decide whether his girlfriend simply isn't into him anymore, he had done something wrong, or she's just shy. He wants her to come live with him. To the point where he has broken down over in when he's alone in bed at night.
The next race weekend, he caught her talking with Charles and Carlos. Knawing insecurities creeping their way up his throat. He avoided all three for the rest of the day.
No phone calls were answered. No texts responded to. Always going to opposite direction. Was he being petty? Possibly, but he needed to think this through.
That night, he's shocked when Max comes knocking at his door. Lando opens the door and greets his friend cheerfully. Max though, looks solem.
"Wanna talk about why your girlfriend is acting like she's killed you?"
Lando's face dropped. "What?"
Max shoves past him and takes a seat in one of the chairs at the small table. "Carlos and Charles are worried also. They tried consoling her, but she's hysterical mate. Thinks you don't love her or something."
Again, Lando's face drops. She thinks he doesn't love her? She believes she did something wrong? He's misread this situation entirely.
"I- I thought that - that she was falling out of love." He admits. His face turns away from Max to the floor.
"She was raving to Carlos and Charles that she's finally able to work from home and wants to live in Monaco with you, but you hadn't asked."
"Why didn't she ask to live with me?"
"Maybe she didn't want to seem rude?"
And suddenly Lando is running out the door. Sprinting to his car to get to the hotel he knows she's staying at. With the room number she'd given late last night when she arrived.
It's a blur, really, the trip from point A to point B. He doesn't come back to reality until he's staring at her door. He can hear the muffled sobs on the other side.
He knocks. She opens. They collapse into each other.
"I thought you didn't want to come live with me."
"You idiot. Of course I want to live with you! I love you!"
"I'm your idiot."
Does she move to Monaco? Yes. Is Lando like a koala bear clinging to her every second of the day? Absolutely.
But she wouldn't trade it for the world.

Writing challenge
Alexia Putellas, “you and Mapi are children”, training grounds
alexia putellas
"is this really a good idea?" you asked with an ounce of hesitation as mapi messed about with the shampoo. "yes! did you forget what they did first?" mapi scoffed giving you a look as you shrugged unable to argue.
it was juvenile, you knew that. but as mapi stated it was pina and jana who started this whole thing. the 'thing' being an unofficial prank war of sorts, which had all begun just a couple of weeks ago.
you'd been off in your own world, headphones on and preparing yourself mentally for the game. you'd been rummaging through your bag trying to find your lucky hair tie when you saw it.
a large black spider sat on top of your training jumper causing you to let out a scream and fall backwards off the bench, smacking your head and groaning as several of the girls rushed over.
"mi amor what happened?" your girlfriend was the first by your side, grabbing your face and checking you over as you winced and gently pushed her away. "claudia!" mapi roared catching her trying to subtly remove the spider, the younger girl sprinting off in the opposite direction.
though intended to be harmless and there wasn't any real lasting damage, it didn't mean you weren't out for revenge and with mapi your willing accomplice it set off a series of events into motion.
claudia roped in jana to help her and everything started small between the four of you. if it was you signing claudias phone number up for telemarketing calls, hiding one anothers belongings, fake lottery tickets or scratchies.
but when claudia took it one level further and shaved a slit in mapi's eyebrow while she was napping after training one day, the tattooed spaniard was filled with an entirely new passion for getting even.
of course you'd been well warned to stop this all together by the rest of the team especially your captain and girlfriend who made a point to remind that you were both in your late twenties and ought to know better than to stoop to the younger girls level.
but all of the warnings fell on deaf ears which is what lead to you and mapi being crouched down in the showers, filling the girls shampoo with blue hair dye which was supposed to wash out after two washes.
"and you're sure its not going to be permanent?" you stressed again, constantly checking over your shoulder nervously. the two of you had arrived much earlier in order to avoid being caught out but it did nothing to ease your worries you would be.
"relax amiga! no one is here." mapi rolled her eyes, screwing the tops back on as the two of you exited the showers and placed the bottles back in both jana and claudias cubby's.
nothing more came of it until hours later when the game was won and everyone was back in the change rooms, and on such a high from winning you'd actually forgotten about yours and mapi's activities.
well you had until you heard a scream and the two girls appeared, hair tinted blue with dye running down their faces as the change room erupted into laughter, mapi taking off as claudia sprinted after her and jana stormed off to the showers to try and wash it out.
"cariño." you looked up with an amused smile which dropped seeing the stern glare sent your way by your girlfriend. "i did not do anything, it was all maría." you threw your friend right under the bus and sent the taller girl an innocent smile.
"mmm sure amor. you will apologise to both of them!" alexia ordered crossing her arms as you scoffed. "no i will not!" you argued, the girls firm look unwavering as she refused to break eye contact knowing exactly how to break you.
"fine!" you huffed, getting to your feet and yelling into the showers that you were sorry, jana's hand which was stained blue popping up over one of the stalls and flipping you off.
"can we go now? capi." you jeered, never appreciating when your girlfriend would pull the captain card on you. the two of you made your way out to alexia's car, claudia and mapi sprinting past you still chasing one another around as poor ingrid followed trying to break it up.
"you and mapi are children." alexia sighed, starting up the car as you settled into your seat. "i never was until i met her. she is a bad influence!" you tutted crossing your arms, sending her an innocent smile as she looked unimpressed.
"you love me though." you sang out as she started the engine, the older girl letting out a deep sigh.
"you are lucky you're cute mi vida, thats all you have going for you sometimes." "hey!"

can you do wednesday x fem yn and pugsley is over for parents week and see them kissing and make sure of wednesday and tells mortica and gomez
Snitch
Pairing: Wednesday x femreader
Wordcount:
Warnings:none
Author's note: I'm sorry for the titel, my brain just wasn't braining.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Parents week finally arrived and you couldn’t be more nervous since you were gonna have to meet Wednesday’s parents.
Yours couldn’t make it so you had to spend the whole week with her family. Not that you didn’t want that of course, but meating your girlfriend’s parents was a big deal to you.
They didn’t even know that Wednesday had a girlfriend which made it 100 times worse. You bombarded your girlfriend with questions like ‘Are you sure they’ll like me?’ ‘What if they think I’m not good enough for you?’ and so so so many more.
At a certain point Wednesday finally had enough.
While students reunited with their parents you and Wednesday were shamelessly making out with each other behind a random wall.
It’s weird to think that at first Wednesday couldn’t even hold your hand and now she’s pushing you up against the wall, kissing you fiercly. Oh, how time can change people... for the better in this case.
“Why isn’t she here yet?” Family Addams split up and went to go search for their dear family member. Pugsley being team 1 and Moricia in team 2 together with Gomez. They’d never split up.
“You’re asking to many questions.” She paused to look at your flushed face for a bit before placing her lips on yours again.
“Wednesday?”
You and Wednesday basically teleported away from each other with how fast you were. You tried to wipe away the lipstick that you know was smeared all over your mouth thanks to Wednesday’s dark lipstick.
“You’re going to keep your mouth shut about this.” Wednesday could be so threatening without trying. You felt bad for who you assumed to be Pugsley. Wednesday had told you a little bit about her family after you had practically begged her to.
Pugsley kept quiet and out of nowhere he began running in the opposite direction of Wednesday. “Chase him.” You looked at her questioningly. “Do you want to get tortured with him?” Your eyes widened and you sprinted after Pugsley.
He hadn’t gotten that for so you easily caught up to him but it was already too late... A tall lady and a short man stood there right in front of you. The dots inside your mind instantly connected. Their dark clothes, the woman who looks similar to Wednesday.
“S-she- she and Wednesday were making out!” Pugsley was beyond out of breath. It looked like he could pass out anytime now. You chuckled awkwardly, “Nice to meet you?” You hesitantly held out your hand but you dropped it when Wednesday arrived and glared at Pugsley.
“Hello mother, hello father. This is my partner.” Gomez and Morticia’s eyes were already wide at what Pugsley told them but now it looked like they were gonna pop out of their sockets.
“Don’t be so surprised, I’m your child after all.” It made sense, Gomez and Morticia were next level with their affection but it was still weird for them to find out their anti-social, anti-loving, anti-everything daugher had a lover. And the smeared lipstick on your mouth didn’t make it easier.
“Let’s get to know each other better, dear.” Morticia tried to play it off cool but she couldn’t hide the smile that appeared on her face when she watched Wednesday wipe your face for you.
Getting to know her family would be fun. What was a little less fun for you though was watching Pugsley get waterboarded for telling on her like that. You didn’t dare intervene cause she promised to include you in Pugsley’s punishment.
If anyone asked you, parents week was interesting to say the least.
