I Dare You...

Pairing: Loki x female reader (Y/N) - established relationship

Summary: You and Loki are playing truth or dare and you think you found a dare he won't do.

A/N: Thanks @soubi001 for helping with the randomness of this one 💚 and to answer the question no one asked... no, this is not what I was supposed to be writing tonight 🫣

Loki sighs in defeat, "Very well."

"Wait, seriously?" you ask in disbelief. You were sure he wouldn't agree to this and you would finally win your hour long game of truth or dare.

"I told you, pet, I have no intentions of losing this game," he tells you with a mischievous grin.

"Fine... but you have to do it for ten seconds," you add a clause with your own calculating smile.

"Two," he counters quickly.

"Five," you cross your arms over your chest and sit back against the couch cushion.

"Two," he smiles as he leans closer to you.

"Seven," you roll your eyes and move your head slightly so he kisses your cheek instead of your lips as he intended.

"That's not how negotiations work," he chuckles and pulls back to look at you.

"Keep being annoying and I'll make it 30 seconds," you smile threateningly.

"I believe your lowest offer was five seconds," he says after a moment of silent consideration.

"Five," you nod your head in agreement.

"Brother," Loki calls for Thor's attention when he enters the common room, you wait in the hall where no one can see you.

"Loki, there you are," his older brother says cheerfully. "I thought you were seeing Y/N tonight."

"I am," Loki provides the shortest response possible and you try not to giggle, putting your hand over your mouth.

"Did you need something reindeer games?" Tony asks, annoyed that Loki interrupted their poker game.

Loki holds his hands behind his back and asks, "Thor, would you stand up for a moment?"

Thor looks at Loki then back at the other members of the team seated around the table. Tony shakes his head no adamantly while Steve and Clint shrug. Thor, being the ever trusting older brother, pushes his chair away from the table and stands to face Loki.

Before he can utter a sound, Loki pulls him into a tight hug.

"One Mississippi, two Mississippi-" you count quietly from your hidden spot just outside the doorway.

Thor's eyes go wide in shock and he doesn't move, his arms pinned to his sides with Loki's arms wrapped around him.

Tony reaches for his drink, his eyes fixed on the brothers and knocks the glass over, spilling it on his cards but no one notices.

Clint leans his chair back for a better view of the two Gods and Steve mumbles, "What the hell?"

"- Mississippi, five Mississippi," you giggle as Loki releases Thor and abruptly turns away.

"Loki, what-" Thor starts to ask but Loki leaves the room.

"I can't believe you actually did that," you tell him in shock.

"I do not like losing," he shrugs as you walk back towards your room together. "Plus, that will confuse all of them for weeks," he chuckles.

"Damnit, you're right," you sigh when you get to your room.

He smirks as he closes the door, "So darling, what will it be? Truth or dare?"

1) Does Mysterio use glitter?

Well, I would be disappointed if he didn’t LOL

Special biodegradable glitter that is a-ok for the environment is definitely something he’d use! Mostly for his entrances and exits tho, just to add that extra bit of flair to his performance. He thrives on the melodrama.

Edible glitter would also be good, just in case someone inhaled it by accident when he makes his grand appearance or get away. I mean, he’s not a killer, he’d actually be upset if someone innocent got hurt during his “performances”, someone he wasn’t intending on hurting in some way.. He’d feel horrible about it and, if given the opportunity, he would apologize.

But yeah, this man absolutely uses glitter! :D (despite my loathing of glitter that isn’t sealed to prevent it from transferring to other things, I’d so totally hug him still regardless of the risk of getting glitter on me for days after)

2) Does Acedia have seasonal outfits?

Been meaning to design some alterations to the Sloth Suit, and this gave me the motivation to do just that! Enjoy my seasonal hero wear!

3) How did you come up with Acedia?

OK SO. STORY TIME:

I originally thought about joining everyone during the initial big spidersona bang when Into the Spiderverse was first released and everyone was making their own. I saw a few people talking about spider crab based spidersonas and wanted to join that but, well.. that was too difficult and I never was able to come up with anything cool.

sometime down the line I was initially interested in the anime My Hero Academia (thank heck I never watched more than barely the full first season, knowing all the drama and junk that’s happened, I dodged a bullet LOL) but I did come up with some oc’s for it and even a ‘quirksona‘ that was sloth based named Acedia, basically myself, but more sloth and also not as cool as I wanted:

nothing came of that character so cut to years later, this year, I recently rewatched Spiderverse and started to get into the Spiderman side of things again out of the blue after watching TSSM and falling in love with the show all over again, and doodling Doc Ock, too. I thought back to my old failed attempt at making a spidersona, so I decided to try my hand at that again.

I remembered Acedia’s design and tbh I really did love the design so I reworked it and made adjustments to better resemble a sloth and better resemble Spiderman’s iconic appearance. On top of that I did also just make the character under the costume ME with no real changes at all. And thus, Acedia, The Cryptid Crawler was created:

Anyways, that’s the story behind Acedia’s creation!

I just really like sloths.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “most important things to have for Acedia“ but I hope some of this answers that? maybe? you’re free to elaborate on what you mean by that and I can do my best to answer!

Idk how this Tumblr stuff works sorry but I’d just like to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. The way people acted towards Birdie had me going insane, like she’s not going to be innocent but why are we putting a mother who’s just trying to protect her child in a chokehold or whatever and letting the manipulative assassin walk free? Haven’t gotten to watch 3x30 yet but I hope it’s spoken about because it was just a wow moment. And chat too, like I found myself sitting there and going, “what are you guys saying?” I understand the player at the table bias and that the situation would’ve been very different if Birdie had also been a guest but I feel like they played into Yu’s hand stupidly easy. Part of me wishes that Dorian/Robbie had stayed because I think the situation would’ve turned out very differently if he’d been there too, especially with the Spider Queen stuff. Anyways, continue to preach from the mountaintops because this whole situation was crazy.

I had the pleasure of stopping in at both of Bunny's Bae Bar at Rolling Loud. She had an activation in both GA and VIP sections of the festival grounds. Both activations were really cute, the one in GA was positioned next to the Ferris Wheel and multiple food pop ups. The one in VIP was located next to the main stage. Both activations were vibrant and the team members were very welcoming. I received great service from the make up team and observed the hair stylists making beautiful braids and adding the cutest bedazzles on many curious customers.

This activation was truly a glam oasis, they had everything you needed! More than a salon for hair and makeup, Bunny's Bae Bar also carried the limited-edition Rolling Loud x Forever 21 collection. The limited-edition Forever 21 x Rolling Loud Miami collection, co-designed by Rolling Loud, embraces the sizzling summer heat with lightweight and trendy styles, inspired by Miami, with beachy graphics and vibrant colors, all adorned with the Rolling Loud logo. The collection features eleven styles, including a sexy pink bikini, stylish tube and tank tops, a breezy button- down with matching shorts, a racing-themed one-piece and a camouflage-inspired skirt, and the best-selling varsity jacket featured in the Forever 21 x Rolling Loud California collection. I especially loved the face sparkles. They are very good quality and can be worn more than once. The glue is strong but it also comes off with ease. I was able to wear my sparkles throughout the festival, which really elevated the festival feeling. These are great for parties, concerts, and even every day if you're that kind of gurl!

You are coloring the Forever 21 website with your beauty and grace! What is your favorite look off of the Rolling Loud collection?

Do I have to pick one?

No, you can pick all your favorites! But which would you say is your top one?

My top one, versatility wise, is probably the big jersey, because you can tie it up and crop it how you want to, it fits your body really nice, but also you can go to sleep in it! When I go home, after the show especially, the last thing I want to do is feel clothes on my body. I love to jump in the shower and throw on a big t-Shirt. I usually like to wear one of my husband's t-shirts, he has a big stack of t-shirts that I love to pick out of. The jersey is definitely my favorite from the collection, I love to throw it on, even if it's going to the supermarket, driving in my car, working or whatever - it's the most comfortable.

If I'm stepping out, I would definitely wear the bikini top. You can dress it up with leather or lace day or night. We also have a white crop top. It's giving Malibu Barbie x Racecar. It's definitely the crop I would wear on my day to day basis.

It's funny that you mention your husband because the next question is what inspired the looks for the collection. You mention you like his oversized T's.

Yes, on a day to day basis my attire would be one of my husband's large t-Shirts. I wear Rolling Loud merchandise all the time because we made so much cool stuff, and I love it. I throw on my big t-shirts, my hair in a bun and my Air Forces.

You said you're from Brooklyn, that's that New York City native in you

Haha, yeah, those are my daily shoes, Nikes are much easier to break into. I also needed to bring that sexyness and that taste and the right colors because this is Miami! I'm really happy with how the fans are perceiving it, they really like it!

What inspired Bunny’s Bae Bar?

My background is in beauty. I went to Queens Vocational High School, a trade school, my main thing I wanted to do was cosmetology so my sophomore year I started learning everything there is to know about cosmetology, like how strawberries can exfoliate your skin. I left that school and continued my education elsewhere and got my GED.

My sister is also a cosmetologist, she's a hairstylist. I grew up in an all women house hold. The first product I picked up was a concealer, not something traditional like mascara or an eyeliner. There's also the epiphany of the beauty standards and I grew up with that so I felt I had to hide my dark circles.

My mom was always that bitch, and it's only right I became that bitch too.

With the heat and humidity, what are some make up tips for glam that won’t feel too heavy and won’t sweat?

Definitely make up is not unbreakable, you know what I mean? We are only human, at the end of the day we are going to sweat, things are going to break apart, it happens to me all the time. To alleviate some of those things, I would say use a good setting spray and a lot of powder. When I talk about powder I don’t just mean your under eyes, add it to every single step. Think of dry shampoo in your hair, it sucks up all the oil. You need something to hold these oils.

I also find that a lot of powder on my face, with this heat and humidity, stops me from breaking out almost. Instead of my pores spewing out that oil and just sitting there and causing me to break out, I have something on top to absorb that. Having a good powder is essential, I like the Fenty Beauty one, Rihanna is queen and she knows what she’s doing.

If you’re going for a matte lip, definitely use a setting powder. I like a matte lip, I think it photographs well. A gloss also looks hydrated and juicy. Definitely powder yourself up, spray yourself down. If you want a setting spray use aerosol, not liquid.

Thank you for those tips!

And don’t forget the eyelash glue! It’s hot, if you’re sweating you’re gonna need a touch up. Unless you don’t care, you wanna rip them off and have a good time, I’ve done that way too many times.

You mentioned you went to school for beauty, who are some of your beauty or fashion influences?

Fashion inspirations for when dressing myself, I would have to say Gwen Stefani.

I see that!

Gwen Stefani, Joan Jett 80’s style, I love Joan Jett I grew up on Rock n Roll & OG Hip Hop. When I’m dressing I like to embody a little bit off the iconic R&B baddies, so like TLC, Monica, Destiny’s Child, Aliya, Beyonce. I really like some of the new models too, I like Bella Hadid, I like how she dresses. I also like Naomi Campbell.

I really think the only think that goes good with a cute outfit is confidence. If you’re wearing a cute ass outfit, but you got a dingy personality, you’re not cute on the inside, then it’s not gonna look cute. I need you to work on you, that’s the nest outfit. I tell that to everyone, self love is the best outfit.

Thank you for telling us your influences! Do you plan to make this Beauty Bar Station into an actual salon?

Maybe… one day, I mean I would love to. I’ve had such a great time putting together both activations, both in VIP and GA since 2019. Myself and my team, we have worked day in and day out, I draw everything from scratch, I draw it out exactly how I want to see it, I’m a very particular person. Then I give it over to the more technical side, they draw it out professionally and I’m able to say I like this color or that color, I make these flowers myself.

Oh, you’re a DIY girly?

I am! I curate the playlists too.

If you could bring anyone from the main stage to get glammed up in the Bae Bar, who would you love to see?

It would have to be a special guest. I love everyone that plays here for the show. Rihanna is a great supporter and she comes all the time with Rocky, so if I could bring anyone in the Bae Bar, at this moment, right now, I would love Rihanna! And I love Fenty beauty, a lot of my products are Fenty. I’ve loved Rihanna since I was a little girl.

I am a taurus!

It’s quite exciting that a conference brand running in multiple overseas countries, UK, Spain and Canada has brought a conference to Australia. I hope one day to attend Spain’s Accountex conference - we all know accounting is an International language, an accounting conference in a foreign language sounds like it would really push me out of my comfort zone!

Hi, I hope you found the interviews from Accountex informative and edutaining!

The two day Sydney Accountex conference was a great opportunity to catch up and spend time with members of the Accounting and Bookkeeping community and with familiar and a few new Accounting App vendors.

Initially I was asked to be a media partner, but I’m an accountant, and I felt a bit uncomfortable with that. The organisers established a content crew, which I instead asked to join and actively participated in. I was listed on the website as being part of the content crew, but am no longer listed there - I am not sure why. During the early stages, the content crew were extensively involved with encouraging new speakers to pitch their ideas, reviewing speaker submissions, and highlighting which sessions we thought would resonate with the accounting and bookkeeping community. I’m focused on improving and nurturing the Accounting and Bookkeeping profession and community, and it was good to be part of the initial content development.

I was gratefully allocated a podcasting slot for the last session on the last day, in a cute podcast caravan, but my bad, I got confused with the calendar timings, and missed it completely.

I’m normally quite busy at conferences, and I hustled up a few more opportunities, as well as the interviews you just listened to, I delivered three fun and engaging sessions.

With the Fathom team I coordinated a brilliant panel discussion “How being purpose-driven and customer centric can help attract clients and retain top talent” on the main stage.

I delivered a panel discussion on Explore Atomic Habits at the GoCardless Buzz Labs with Michele Grisdale, Amar Latif and Dan Osbourne.

Also at the GoCardless Buzz Labs Nick Sinclair Founder - Humanverse Group (TOA Global & AB² Institute) and I discussed “Current Industry Trends and How Accountants and Bookkeepers can Optimise them.”

I plan to release the sessions recorded at the GoCardless Buzz Labs on the Cloud Stories podcast soon.

I had a full access ticket, which conveniently gave me access to an ample variety of food & beverages, a really fun dance party overlooking the Sydney Harbour on the last evening.

The CACatalyst team from Chartered Accountants ran a pitch night, on the first night. One of the contestants was Empiraa, a gamified yet simplified business planning software, that helps you set business goals and an actionable plan on how to achieve them. I’ve met with the founder Ash Brown and he and the team at Empiraa have joined me as a strategic partner, supporting me to support the community.

I also had the opportunity to meet up and reconnect with a lot of brilliant people in the Accounting Industry, including Caroline Hobden, Portfolio Director at Accountex in the UK and Europe and she invited me to come and speak in the UK. Well maybe not this year, cause I shall be attending Amanda Aguillard’s Accounting Salon in Florida, but I've pencilled it in 2024. How exciting.

More could be said about Sydney Accountex, but for me I used my positive energy to make the most of the event.

"Dude, are you for real?"

Danny slid the plastic container across the table to Tucker's side. The top was taped shut, and for good reason; once unsealed, according to Danny's word, all hell would break loose. "You tell me, Tuck. I got two more of 'em in my locker."

Tucker was dubious, but he picked the container up in one hand and hefted it a couple of times. Both eyebrows shot up, and he whistled through his teeth. "You're not screwing around this time, are you?"

Danny shook his head, smiling. "I told you I had a plan. The air down there always kicks on four minutes after the last bell, right? And this is the team locker room we're talking about here. It'll be just them in there for the ten mintues until they get out to practice."

"You say that like you're minimizing the damage," said Tucker, "You know what this is, right? You think it's going to stay where you put it?"

Danny shrugged. "Not my problem. Besides, I'm immune, remember?"

"Danny, I'm trying real hard to tell you this is probably going to bite you in the ass."

"Hers, actually," said Danny, grinning. He took the container back, sliding it into the empty place in the bottom of his backpack and shoving a loose pile of papers on top of it before zipping the whole thing back up. "She said it's like cooties for straight guys, and honestly? I think she might be on to something. If it were up to me, though, I'd just hope it itches like hell. If it does, I'd almost call it even for me sharing a locker with three of those band geeks last week."

"And you still think this isn't going to come back to get you. At all."

"Nope. I can turn invisible, remember? No one's gonna see me. I got plenty of time to put ‘em up in the vents before the air kicks on. I scoped the ductwork out the other day and everything. The coverage is going to be great." Danny slung the backpack over his shoulder and scooped up his empty lunchtray, dumping it off in one of the rolling trashcans. He hopped up the handful of steps to the double doors, pausing momentarily as Tucker caught up with him, and did a backwards half-trot down the hall to stay facing him.

"I'm serious, Tuck. This is going to be the best April Fools ever."

These our notes I wrote in a journal a friend gave me when my mom went on Hospice. I share, because I take time to grieve and feel the sadness every anniversary of her death and maybe just maybe someone will find peace in the shared grief.

I used a microphone, so some lines are probably wrong.

These words are hard to revisit years, later if you are feeling anticipatory grief of loss right now. Please be kind to our heart and process only a little at a time.

Waiting for loss is excruciating, like being on one of those carnival rides that shoot you straight up so fast you float in your seat and your stomach crowds your heart.

You stare at the world around you, so small and far away and wait for gravity to take hold and drop you like a stone. Your body full of fear and tension, you're every cell quivering with energy. Wanted to be over and fearful of the fall.

I am not okay and that is okay. You don't need to ask if I am okay. I am strong, I will process this all.

Mom is in hospice, and I'm happy she is not in pain anymore but I am terrified. "Is this lucid moment, her last?"

Grief is the last act of love we have to give those we loved. Where there is deep grief, There was great love.

It appears I started reading books on grief around this time.

Today was a good day. I have not cried today. Dad seemed freer or with his brother around. They traveled at the drop of a hat, from Hawaii. So where is Greg? (Greg is my uncle who didn't visit my mother the two weeks she was on hospice. Or much at all.

Each new bit of news takes about 3 days to process. Be cognizant of where your mind and heart is. Slow down and breathe find the repetitious thoughts and acknowledge them.

Uncle Dave and I both lost a parent at a young age same age maybe.

Barbara moore at the hospital poking her head through the curtains just as I received news Mom was losing her battle. Telling me she is going to a better place. I was thinking "you're asking me to process a lot Barbara". But she was kind and gave genuine hugs.

My heart hurts and I have a lump in my throat. I can feel pressure on the back of my lungs.

Dad laughs at most of my jokes, Mom rarely does. But the day I said she was just like Deadpool, she laughed, Dad did not. (Terrible, but she was in the right place to laugh at her cancer a year before)

Notes from my memory. We put her perfume on her. I repainted her nails. My sister combed her hair. We grieved in the way you should.

On June 3rd at 9: 14 am My mother lost her battle to cancer She was surrounded by family that loved her and showered her with words of comfort we don't know.

My mother was a warrior and a survivor. Those terms suggest that if you fight hard enough you'll win. But sometimes you don't, sometimes you're fighting to gain ground, to gain time, even if the end you will lose the war. My mother fought through four chemos, two surgeries and countless tests. and scars and infusions. And she still lost.

But she also gained. My mother survived 4 years with a cancer that kills most in two. My mother fought for every family vacation, every conversation, every chance to say I love you, my mother fought for every birthday, every phone call and every hug. We take our small victories everyday.

Time is limited, and not guaranteed. So don't waste your life on anger, or people who do not care for you. Spend every moment in his estatic joy of the preciousness of time earned.

As Mom did all she could to stay on this earth we too spent (it ends here).

"Gotta make sure the birds don't eat it, too. Oh- Oh we should bring the birds!!" They were dyed rather ridiculous anyway. They'd blend right in!

Blushing clearly even under all that glitter, the clipped little laugh was definitely a sign of some kind. “Ah, well. It’s supposed to be totally safe! Biodegradable, safe for sensitive skin types... and, technically, edible.” Because, well. He wanted to cover all the bases.

Coughing quietly before giving Noct a quick peck on the cheek (and already leaving glitter behind), he clapped once (yet more glitter seemed to form a small dust cloud around his hands) and agreed. “Aw yeah! I totally want to show off the new checker pattern. I wanted to try a rainbow but... you know, there's only so long a chocobo will hold still...”

17, but quite a few are just one-shots. I only have a couple long-fics, mostly because my poor ADHD brain is cruel to me.

What’s your total AO3 word count?

190,052, but if I hadn't orphaned my old (and embarrassing) Skyrim and Sherlock fanfics it'd probably be closer to 300,000.

(And to be perfectly honest, my most popular fic is by far my worst. I spend so much more time carefully crafting for Eunoia than I do anything else, but the little following it's picked up has made it worth more to me than all the kudos and comments on "honey.")

Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

I do! I used to be terrible about it, mostly because the vast majority of comments I once got was hate (I wrote for a weirdly unpopular wlw pairing). Now I make it a point to respond to every single one when I can, even the short ones, to thank them for taking the time. It means so much.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

It was a drabble for the r/dragonage writing thread, actually! The premise was a font in the Black Emporium that would show your OC the outcome of a decision made differently. I wrote Eliana Lavellan from Eunoia discovering what would have happened if she'd fought with Solas in Crestwood until he told her the truth... and its outcome was worse than the timeline where he left her and kept his secret. You can read it here (it's about 1200 words, nice and short).

What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

My various Solavellan pairings don't get happy endings. Evelyn Lavellan was more of a narrative tool to explore Solas with, so her ending was cut short. Eliana doesn't have her ending yet, but it will be bitter and painful. My happiest ending was for my Bella/Rosalie pairing for Twilight - Bella became a vampire and lived happily ever after with her wife.

Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?

I don't, unfortunately! Since my days on tumblr and FFNet, S*perWh*L*ck left a terrible taste in my mouth when it came to crossovers. I'd be open to it one day if I can find fandoms chill enough.

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

As I previously mentioned, yes. In my Bella/Rosalie fic, I made it a point for Rosalie to love all the parts of Bella that weren't conventionally beautiful. My Bella is also a dark-skinned black woman, and the intersection of racism, colorism, and misogyny where it concerns attractiveness was something I thought worth including because I didn't see enough of it in fic. I wanted to highlight all the things that don't get enough attention or are actively reviled, like hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, natural hair, soft bellies, areolas and vulvas that aren't perfectly symmetrical or small, pubic hair and armpit hair and little hairs around nipples - things that I love about AFAB people! I got a lot of comments on my smut chapters calling Bella disgusting, or me nasty for choosing to include those traits. I deleted every single one.

Do you write smut? If so what kind?

So much. I love exploring pairings or power dynamics that people wouldn't necessarily consider, like a strong female warrior Lavellan domming Solas, or Solas topping Blackwall. I wanted to show a black woman in an interracial relationship with a white woman where she got to be soft and loved gently, where she got to be quiet, bookish, and looked after instead of expected to be the loud, strong stereotype that we pin black women into. I wanted to show the power of masculinity in an elven mage who loves a warrior woman (Solas/Cass), or the nurturing side of domming in a relationship between a pan giant and a bisexual elf (Iron Bull/Solas).

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of, tbh. I turn up to fandoms a decade late, so usually by the time I get any traction the fic-stealers have done their dirty work and leave me alone.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

I haven't! I hope to one day write a fic in Greek for my best friend, though. They deserve to read about Solas in their mother-tongue.

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope, but have done some plotting with aforesaid Greek friend.

What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Solavellan, absolutely. Any variation, honestly - I've loved m!Solavellan, f!Solavellan, as well as any variation including nonbinary, trans, or other interpretation of the relationship. Solas sees and loves the spirit, and I love the idea that its vessel doesn't matter so much to him. I headcanon him as a he/him agender bisexual, for what it's worth.

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

I've technically marked i couldn't whisper when you needed it shouted as complete, but it cuts off right before Adamant and was intended to be a full Solavellan story. However, I just didn't care for my rogue f!Lavellan OC very much, and didn't think she matched Solas well. I developed an OC that I enjoyed writing much better and rolled with it. So, I'm sorry Evelyn Lavellan, but your story is frozen with the two of you happy in bed. Solas will never break up with her so long as I don't write that part, right?

What are your writing strengths?

I love dialogue and crafting character voices! Getting a comment that I've managed to portray a favorite character so well that they can hear their voice in their head as they read? Priceless.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Exposition vs description. I want to show instead of tell, but developing the right environment for a scene can be tough for me. It's so much easier to write that the characters are cold and the ground is wet than to wax poetic about dripping leaves and frosty air. But I'm working on it.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I'm obsessed with it. I love little bits sprinkled through that make sense with context, and culturally speaking it would feel wrong not to sometimes! I'm also the type of person that's always been obsessed with languages, and instead of becoming fluent in one I've learned a smattering of a whole lot. So any opportunity to sneak in some French, Welsh, German when it makes sense? I'm taking it. And don't even get me started on Elvhen or Qunlat because I will sprinkle that shit like biodegradable glitter.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Okay I'm gonna flout this question and just write my fandoms in order:

Sherlock (circa 2010 - 2014)

Skyrim (2016)

Twilight (obsessed from 2005 - 2010 but didn't write for it until 2019 or 2020 when Midnight Sun released)

Dragon Age (March 2021 and easily the most fanfic I've ever written ever)

What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

My favorite one to write was probably i'd wanna be felled by you, but my favorite to reread is Eunoia. It's most likely the most honest, least presumptuous thing I've ever written, and it's easily the longest thing I've ever attempted. I'm very proud of it.

As far as tagging goes, I've been very rude lately with it by tagging people late in the day, or tagging folks that I haven't tagged before, and am still refiguring out tumblr etiquette (since I haven't been here since the days of the skeleton war and the Mishapocalypse lmao), so presume if you see this you're tagged to participate.
