Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for making such beautiful clothes. I've been struggling with texture issues since forever (I have Autism and my sensory issues are heavy in textures so much I am repulsed by many common clothing textures) but your clothes make me so comfortable! Not to mention they are very breathable down here in the south.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE! The funeral print dress, but I wanted to ask if it also has the hooks and eyes like your button shirts do?
(Also, thank you for making such cool clothing with such big pockets. I work at a library and get so many compliments when i wear my skirts)
it doesn't, because we haven't had any issues with gaping so far. since it's a bit boxier and cinched at the waist rather than fitted, we're hoping that won't be as much of an issue!

Hi! I finally bit the bullet and ordered a skirt and petticoat to wear to a funeral(which is really sad but I guess I'm grateful for the excuse to finally get one) and I was wondering if I should wash either item prior to wearing them? I'm kinda on a time crunch n am hoping to be able to get away with just throwing them into my luggage the minute they get here and hopping on the plane.
in general, we recommend washing more clothing after you buy them just as a precaution, but the petticoats specifically should be washed as little as possible.
if you're on a major time crunch, you'll probably be fine tossing them into your suitcase tbh. but if you have the time, i would wash the skirt first!

I have a new skirt design cooking with @mayakern and two slightly different color options test-printed for it!!
If you can't tell the difference, the one on the left has a slightly darker, slightly more emerald green bg, and the one on the right has a slightly lighter, slightly more warm green bg!
I'm very inch rested which version ppl like more, not just visually, but what colors would be nicer as a skirt that you can match outfits with!

these shirts will feature hidden hook and eye closures to ensure a perfect fit, as well as gussets that can be unbuttoned to expand the hips of the shirt.

I'm so excited about the picnic style tops! They just made me realize I have primarily dark color skirts from you so I'm very tempted to get a bright summery skirt to go with the white picnic top! (Ofc I'll be getting a black one to go with my existing skirts)

Are yall planning on releasing other designs and solid colours of the dress? The cut is adorable!
we are planning to do other designs (and maybe solids) if it sells well, but preorders will be very spaced out because the dresses are pretty expensive to make.
but hopefully we'll get the chance to do more in the future, if everything goes as planned!

Im frothing at the mouth that you are releasing new cotton button ups that match the skirts— will these shirts be able to comfortably fit the betittied? Especially those with some extra in the department? I deeply wanna pass this on to someone but they are eternally getting burned in the bust department by button ups.

yes, our new button-ups will actually feature hidden hook and eye closures between every set of buttons to help with gaping and to achieve a better fit.
they will also feature gussets at the hips that make them expandable. so the shirts are made to accommodate varying body types!

I wear my skirts to my college's scottish country dance club, and I have gotten so many compliments (especially on the thistles)! the way they twirl is so perfect for dancing in!

it's a straight cut dress with no flare at all, so it wouldn't work very well with it, unfortunately.
