for a tragedy the iliad is pretty funny. compiled some of my favorite things about it (not in chronological order)
- patroclus barely speaks for most of the book but EVERYBODY loves him. like he’s literally the entire greek camp’s precious meow meow. the ORIGINAL sweet little meow meow. even the GODS are sad and feel bad when he dies. even HOMER loves patroclus, always calling him “faultless patroclus” “my patroclus” “gentle patroclus” “sweet patroclus” WE GET IT. achilles, briseis, menelaus, ajax, literally every member of the greek camp is down ATROCIOUS for patroclus all bc he’s just one Really Nice Dude. just one very Sweet and Polite Fella. one Extra Special Guy <3 his whole narrative purpose is simply to be everyone’s special little scrunkly
- in one of the MANY passages where achilles is lamenting about how sad it is that patroclus is dead he promises patroclus’ corpse that he will have many deep-bosomed trojan and dardanian women weep for him. he tells his dead buddy “i will get the absolute THICKEST hoes with the BIGGEST mommy milkers for your funeral” honestly? id be honored
- all the arguments escalate so quickly. an old man very politely appeals to agamemnon to pretty please give his daughter back and offers him a huge fortune for her and agamemnon calls him a crotchety old bitch and tells him he’ll fucking kill him if he ever sees him again
- that same old man is a priest of apollo. you know, the plague god? anyway priest calls in a favor and apollo curses the greeks with a plague
- to address this, achilles decides to resolve it by calling all the greeks together and passive aggressively going “HM! i WONDER what could have caused a PLAGUE! it’s almost like we OFFENDED the PLAGUE GOD somehow. now WHAT could WE (cough agamemnon) done to offend the PLAGUE GOD?????” all in front of agamemnon
- zeus spends most of the book desperately trying to keep the gods OUT of the war. then once he’s finally had enough he just calls them all together and says “go nuts” and then they do
- artemis talks shit on the battlefield so hera calls her a bitch, steals her bow, and beats her with it. artemis then goes back to zeus and cries
- polydamas says to hector “hey you killed patroclus and achilles is gonna be fucking pissed. we should probably go back to the city while we can” and hector calls him a bitch and tells him to stfu. achilles then chases them back to the city and hector decides to stay outside and get killed by achilles instead of going in with the rest of the army bc he didn’t wanna hear polydamas say “i told you so”
- diomedes is about to fight with a guy called glaucus but then they realize their ancestors were friends or something so they decide not to kill each other, and diomedes says “hey! why don’t we even trade armor! :) just as a show of friendship! :))” and glaucus is like “yeah sure!” and gives diomedes his really nice gold plated armor while glaucus gets diomedes’ shitty plain bronze armor
- achilles makes a bitchy comment to his horses about leaving patroclus to die and the horse momentarily gains the ability to talk just to tell achilles it wasn’t THEIR goddamn fault, tells achilles he’s gonna die soon, and then goes back to being a normal horse.
- zeus with his daughters: oh child ❤️ oh my dear ❤️ oh there there i didn’t really mean it ❤️ sweetie why don’t you go help the greeks?❤️
- zeus with his sons: “ares you fucking donkey”
- everyone calling paris a stupid coward bitch every time they see him. all of troy fucking hates him. hector fucking hates him. helen fucking hates him.
- paris getting dressed up in fancy armor and prancing to the front lines going “i’ll fight ANY of you greeks!” and menelaus (the guy whose wife he stole) goes “alright bet” and paris nearly pisses his pants and tries to hide but then his brother hector calls him a piece of shit and tells him he hopes he dies and makes him fight menelaus. menelaus promptly ROCKS HIS SHIT. literally starts dragging him by his helmet like a rag doll, would’ve killed him if aphrodite hadn’t teleported paris outta there (BOO)

Hannibal lector x reader - unravelling
Tumblr media
Part 1:
Sitting down on the back of the bench, you rested your arms on your knees as you glanced at the man next to you, taking the coffee cup from him to drink some.
“You know we can’t survive on coffee alone, when are you going to actually eat a proper meal?”
“Shut up Kyle.”
He grinned a little at you, taking the coffee cup back to take a sip from it.
“You coming by later?”
You nodded your head, grabbing his arm so you could take a look at his watch.
“Yeah, I’ve got nothing else to do.”
“So you’re not blowing off your boss? Or your therapy?”
Scoffing, you rolled your eyes.
“Don’t even go into it.”
“I won’t, but I reckon those three might.”
He pointed to the side and you turned to look at the three men walking over and you sighed heavily, snatching the coffee cup from him, downing the rest.
“Come on! That was mine!” Kyle whined.
“I’ll buy you another, I’m going to need it trust me.”
He hummed a little bit, standing up, holding his fist out to you.
“Catch you on the other side.”
You nodded, tapping your fist against his, and he mock saluted to three that had stopped just in front of you before he walked away.
You turned to the three that had came over.
“What?” You asked.
“Hannibal says you’ve been avoiding your therapy sessions.” Will frowned.
You shrugged a little bit, running a hand through your hair, climbing down from the bench in front of them all.
Crossing your arms, you turned your attention to Jack, narrowing your eyes a little bit.
“Told you I’m not part of the FBI anymore, stop getting involved in my life.”
“We’re concerned, we’re your friends, we want to make sure you’re alright and we can’t do that if you keep declining all of our calls.”
“Yeah, well maybe you should’ve thought about that before you sent me on a case alone without backup.”
Walking past, you stopped by Hannibal, offering him a small nod of your head.
“Doctor Lector, I’d appreciate if you cancelled all future appointments.”
“Perhaps we could talk about this beforehand?” He asked.
You didn’t say anything as you walked away, making your way to the bar you had began to call a second home, sitting yourself on a stool.
“The usual?” The woman asked.
“And a cigarette if you’ve got one Anna.”
She smiled at you, sliding a glass over to you, and you took a sip from it, taking the cigarette she had just lit.
You took a drag, and pointed to a few of the bottles behind her.
“Might wanna hide them.”
“Doves?”
You shook your head, pulling your phone out of your pocket to show her all of the missed calls and texts from everybody.
She nodded, placing all the things under the counter, and she leant over it, taking your phone so she could read through everything.
“You ever thought maybe therapy could help?”
“With that? It isn’t going to lead me to the person I’m looking for.”
She gave a small nod.
“Maybe not, but come on (Y/N) we all know what you’ve been through. It could help make everything clear. You’re so hell bent on this you’re going to get yourself killed doing it.”
You glared a little bit at Anna.
“I don’t care, the asshole that fucked my life deserves the same amount of shit that I’ve been through.”
She sighed softly, pulling at your longish hair a little bit.
“Can I at least give you a haircut, this is getting out of hand and you look like you live in the wild.”
“What you thinking?”
She hummed a little bit, walking around the bar and stood in front of you with her hands on her hips as she tilted her head to the side.
“I’m kind of thinking a mullet, you know like shave around the sides, you can still style it however you want. Plus I really want to see if it’s gonna grow back white or (H/C).”
You laughed a little, shrugging your shoulders.
“Go nuts Anna, do whatever.”
She grinned brightly, and dragged a chair over to the middle of the bar, and you sat on it while you waited for her to finish with your hair.
You were just having a small talk with her while she cut your hair, and when she finished she ruffled it, handing you a mirror while she cleaned up.
You looked at it, brushing your hair aside to look at the shaved sides, and you stood up, setting the mirror on the chair.
Bending your head down, you ruffled your hair for a few seconds before standing up, brushing it back with your hand.
“I like it, it’s refreshing to have a new look in a way.”
“Wasn’t a hairdresser for years for no reason.”
“It’s still weird you decided to open a bar for ghouls instead but you do you Anna.”
She laughed, going back behind the bar and held up your phone that had started to ring again.
“It’s your therapist.”
“Decline it.”
She hung up on Hannibal, and you stayed there for a few hours, meeting Kyle there for a little while before heading back to your apartment.
You went for a shower, and stood in front of the covered mirror as you dried your hair, tossing the towel aside as you pulled a sweater on, trying not to look at the large scar across your stomach.
Leaving your bathroom, you went to the kitchen to make yourself some coffee, and you walked to the living room to turn on the Tv while you waited for it to be ready.
“Hey.”
You turned to the front door, looking at the slightly beat up man that walked through.
“Doves?”
“More and more out each day. Here.”
He tossed your a neatly wrapped package in brown paper, and you caught it, heading to the kitchen to put it on a plate.
You grabbed your coffee and plate, sitting down to eat while you watched whatever was going on with the world at the moment.
Finishing the food you were given you set the plate down, picking up your coffee cup, taking a couple of sips as your roommate came back out.
“Seriously don’t leave that shit laying around.”
He took your plate, going to wash it for you.
“Sam?”
You heard him hum a little bit.
“Anna said I should stop hunting the man who did this to me.”
“Do you think you should?”
He walked out from the kitchen, leaning against the doorway, crossing his arms.
“No. I mean come on, if he did this to me then who knows how many he’s already done this too, or how many more he’s planning.”
Sam nodded his head.
“Do you think he’ll do it again?”
“You’ve got to be seriously fucked to put ghoul organs in a human just to see if it would work.”
Sam sighed a little bit, walking over to sit in front of you on the table.
“All I’ll say is don’t act rashly (Y/N), with the doves crawling about, on the hunt for ghouls, trying to track down members of the hell hounds. Which means you’re in twice as much danger.”
You sighed, nodding your head as you slumped back into the couch.
“Look, I’m going to do whatever I have to do Sam, plus you didn’t have to follow me.”
“Considering you’re still pretty new to our world, and you’re currently running ranks in the biggest ghoul organisation in the state, and you just took over three wards of the city, I’m going to say I did.”
You smiled a little bit.
“You’re a good friend.”
He shrugged a little bit.
“It’s easier to pay rent with you living here, so can’t exactly have you dying on me.”
“Wow, okay and I thought we were friends.”
He scoffed a little bit.
“Yeah, liked I’d be friends with a once human. That’s gross.”
“Aw come on Sam!”
You reached out to hug him and he pushed you back down on the couch, standing up as there was a knock on the door.
“Get away from me.”
You chuckled a little bit, watching as he went to answer the door, and you got up to go make yourself some more coffee.
You took a deep breath, and froze slightly, turning your attention to the doorway as Sam and Will appeared.
“Visitor.”
“Thanks Sam. Coffee?”
“Going to the bar.”
You nodded, turning to Will, gesturing to the coffee and he nodded his head so you made him a cup as well, handing it over to him.
You walked back to the couch, sitting down, and he sat down where Sam had been sat a few minutes ago.
“You cut your hair. Why?”
“It was about time, it was getting in the way. Why’re you here Will?”
He set his cup down.
“Because you need help, your accident was nearly two years ago (Y/N), you quite the FBI just over a year ago, now you’re abandoning your therapy?”
“I don’t need therapy, I’m fine.”
“You went missing for three months.”
“Needed time away.”
You took a sip of your coffee.
“You moved apartments, changed your whole friend group, appearance. I know you (Y/N), I grew up with you and this isn’t you.”
“Look Will, I got my life you have yours. Leave it at that.”
He shook his head.
“No. No something is off about you. Different.”
“Yeah, I was in an accident were I was in a horrific car accident. I think that kind of shit changes people Will.”
“That’s why you need to talk to Hannibal, come on please. The FBI are paying for it, so you don’t have to worry about that. You won’t talk to me, so please talk to somebody.”
Will looked at you, white hair, emotionless (E/C) eyes, you looked paler and skinner than the last time he had seen you a few months ago.
“I don’t recognise you anymore…” he whispered.
“Yeah. Maybe it’s for the better.”
You downed your coffee, and went back into the kitchen hoping that he would get the hint and leave, but he didn’t.
He walked into the kitchen, standing against the counter.
“Please just come by Hannibal’s office tomorrow evening. Think about it (Y/N), we all want to help you.”
Will gave you a small smile and he left, leaving you to think about what he had said.
You spent the whole night awake thinking about it as you sat at your desk, going through your medical files like you did every night.
Nothing ever changed, you never saw anything different, but you kept looking just in case.
You didn’t leave your room at all the following day, your phone kept lighting up with texts telling you to meet Will and Hannibal’s office.
As evening rolled around, you finally left your room, making your way into the living room where Sam was sat on the couch.
“Some dude came looking for your earlier, told him you weren’t home.”
“Will?”
“Jack Crawford. Wanted to talk to you about the accident.”
You hummed a little, grabbing your jacket.
“Going out.”
Sam pushed himself up, grabbing his own jacket as he trailed after you, hands stuffed in his pockets as he followed you out to the street where you melted into the people walking by.
“You don’t have to follow me.”
Sam didn’t say anything, and you glanced back at him before going back to walking about.
“Seriously? You called Kyle?”
“Not letting you walk around undefended in this state of mind.”
“I have to agree with hardass here.” Kyle said.
You sighed a little, crossing boundaries into the ward that had been overrun by ghouls.
It was mostly abandoned by people now, and as you emerged on the otherside of the alleyway you pulled on your skull mask, pulling on your gloves.
A few ghouls stopped to glance at you but didn’t do anything, and you carried on walking to the old fountain, and you sat down.
“Don’t often see you around these parts.” Someone spoke.
You flicked your gaze up to the hooded figure, and you shrugged a little bit.
“Have you found anything?”
“Nothing new, got some inside intel about the doves wanting to do a takedown of this ward, but they can’t organise a task force big enough. They’re spreading into the fourth and fifth wards though.”
You nodded your head.
“Keep away from them, don’t interact unless you have too. Got it?”
“That’s no fun.”
You stood up, turning to face him.
“Listen to me, do. Not. Interact. Got it?” You said lowly.
He grumbled a little bit but nodded his head, agreeing with you.
“Whatever you say Grimm, I’ll pass the message along.”
“Good, if I heard about anyone fucking with the doves on purpose I’ll personally deal with them.”
“I expect nothing else.”
You carried on wondering around for a little while until you finally left the ward, hiding your mask in your jacket again as you made your way back into normal public.
Kyle and Sam were still close behind you, and you turned to Kyle.
“Can you ask Anna to keep an ear to the ground?”
“Yeah, will do.”
He wondered away, and Sam stepped in line with you.
Neither of you said anything, but when you went to walk back home he grabbed the back of your jacket, directing you down a different path instead.
“What the hell?”
“Get your ass into that damn therapists office, I can’t be having them coming by every day.”
He pushed you into the building and you sighed, walking to the office you had been avoiding and knocked on the door.
After hearing Hannibal call for you to come in, you pushed the door open, walking in with Sam behind you, and he stuffed his hands into his pockets, leaning against the wall.
“I see you brought a friend.” Hannibal said.
“I see you brought two.”
“We just want to talk, that’s all.” Jack said gently.
You turned around to look at Sam, and he left the room, leaving the four of you alone and you walked over, sitting down in the chair Hannibal offered you.
“What is there to talk about?”
“Your spiralling path into self destruction.” Jack sighed

HERE WE GO AGAIN: BAKUGO X BLACK FEM! CHUBBY READER
Alright, children. Since it was voted on here you go. Y'all love our spicy Pomeranian man huh? lol.
Warnings: dick in pussy, praise, degrading, facials, squirting, nut swallowing, doggystyle, nipple play, fingering under the table.
ALL CHARACTERS ARE AGED UP TO ADULTS.
It was Friday and you were sitting in your apartment. It was peaceful until your roommate, Mina, came home from class.
“Hey Y/N! What are you doing later tonight?” she asked.
“Nothing that I know of hoe, why? Wassup?”
“Well, the boys invited us to go to this party tonight. I didn’t wanna go by myself so I wanted to know if you were down?” She looked at you as if you couldn’t deny her.
“The boys? What boys invited you, sis? And by boys you mean your boyfriend Kiri?”
She looked shocked “He is not my boyfriend… yet. Anyway, hoe, he said they guys are having some kind of dinner party that turns into a party tonight. Figured we could go shopping.”
“Hmmmm… I don’t know. Who all gone be there out of this little circle?”
“Everybody. And that includes explosion boy.”
You can not stand that motherfucker. Since you guys were kids, he was always a thorn in your ass. An itch that just couldn’t be scratched. You and the Bakugo Katsuki had been going at it for years. It came to a point when everyone thought you had feelings for one another and y'all were playing. You both were very competitive. You both took game night to a whole other level.
“Mina...” you said in a warning tone “Why do I wanna go somewhere with that nigga? All he’s going to do is fucking cry and whine and complain about EVERY. FUCKING. THING. You wanna hear him complain for hours about how the chicken didn’t have any seasonings?”
She looked at you because she knew you were right. The friend circle that you guys had, y’all were very close. You guys knew each other like the back of your hand. But it was always funny because everyone knew each other’s buttons. So, from time to time, you guys would push these buttons and get a kick out of shit. So, you thought long and hard about going to this event. You missed your friends, except that blonde-haired loud bastard, and wanted to see them.
“You know what Mina? Fuck it. I’ll go. Let’s go shopping. It’s only 8:30 AM. So, I have plenty of time to get an outfit and do hair, nails, and makeup. What time is the event?”
“Dinner is at 7:30 PM and the party starts at 8:30 PM. But knowing the boys, it probably starts at 9 lol.”
“Fine. Get your shit and let’s go! We’re so taking your car today Mina” Y/N said.
“Why? We always take your car. Since it’s better than mine.”
“Indeed, it is. But you convinced me to go to this shit at the last minute and then you want me to drive us shopping? And I’m assuming you want me to do your nails too? Correct?”
She looked at you with a knowing smirk. “Exactly. The least you can do here is drive us around. We gotta hit our favorite store! They have all the good shit.”
“You know it!” she sang as she grabbed her keys and headed out the door.
______________________________________________________________
We pulled up at the mall. Surprisingly it was not packed at all. You both hit several stores. The final store that you guys went to was where you found the dress of your dreams. It was a beautiful yellow dress that you bought instantly. You bought a pair of clear heels to go along with it.
“Mina. LOOK!” She turned around and was blinded by the beauty of the yellow dress. Just holding this yellow dress up to your skin complimented you beautifully. You knew you were turning heads at this event and Mina did too.
“Whew. Girl this dress is going to get your eggs scrambled and you broke in half.” She laughed.
You laughed right along with her because you knew it was true. It has been a minute since you had some dick, and you could use a man’s touch. Wouldn’t hurt at all.  “You’re right. I will surely be eaten because I will be looking super good.”
As you guys put your bags in the trunk, Mina’s phone rang. She answered and of course, it was the guys calling to make sure we were still coming. Pretty sure this bitch told them I was coming even tho she didn’t ask me shit. She turned the car on and hooked her phone to CarPlay. Their loud voices blasted through the speakers.
“Are you guys coming or what? We got security and everything and this is gonna be a good time. Did you tell Y/N? Is she gonna come outside today?” Kirishima asked with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
“Hey!! Fuck you, Kiri! I don’t abandon you asshole like Sero says.”
“Yes, you do!” Denki says in the background loud enough for you to hear. “Oi..tell her to shut up.” Bakugo says. As soon as you hear his voice you immediately start going off on him. Why not? It’s Bakugo. Fuck him and his sensitive ass.
“Is this Sero or Denki I’m talking to now?”
“Denki. Don’t mind Kacchan, he’s being an asshole. You know his usual self.”
“OI!! Shut it Pikachu. Before you get blasted to hell.”
Mina was so amazed. She is used to the shenanigans by now so she doesn’t give a fuck. She made that clear after the last game night we had.
______________________________________________________________
Flashback
You guys are sitting in the boys’ shared apartment. This time, in particular, Bakugo was streaming on Twitch. Out of you, Mina, Kiri, Sero, and Denki, Bakugo has the largest amount of followers on Twitch. During the game nights, one person streams while the others are in the party. That’s how that works. When one of you streams, you guys decide who is joining the party for the streaming broadcast. This game night in particular, again, Bakugo was streaming Call Of Duty. He was pretty good at it but not better than you. You streamed too but not as frequently as the others. Bakugo was the party leader, you, Sero, and Kiri joined his party for game night. You guys got Hella dubs(wins). Bakugo was jealous because you got more kills than he did. So that started an argument. You both were very competitive.
“OI. You stole my kill.” Bakugo cried.
“You were playing with your food. And I didn’t steal it. They gave it to you. That was a kill confirmed. You’re welcome assface.”
“Fuck you”
“You wish you could fuck somebody’s daughter. If you could fuck properly maybe you’d still be getting laid” you smirked. Knowing that that would push his fucking buttons. You had heard through the grapevine that he couldn’t satisfy his women. Since all he wanted to do was hook up. That shut his ass up from talking shit to you for the rest of the match for about 5 mins before it started up again. That shit went on for the rest of game night.
______________________________________________________________
“Dammit Mina. LOL. This nigga thinks I care about him telling me to shut up. Aww. My feelings are hurt. NOT.” You said sarcastically. Everyone took a deep sigh.  “Not this shit again. Can y’all chill the fuck out? Please” Sero asked. By the tone of his voice, he was begging you guys not to do that ghetto ass shit again.
“Fine.” You said defeated. “ I will see y’all tonight. But I’m gonna stop talking and let Mina take back over.” With that, you put your air pods in and listened to the music on your phone. By the time Mina was done with her conversation, you were annoyed that you even agreed to this shit to begin with and the fact that Bakugo just pissed you off. But you decided to get petty. You were gone show up to this event looking good as fuck because he called you ugly a while back.
____________________________________________________
When you and Mina got back home, it was around 3:30. You guys immediately went ahead and did your hair and nails. Mina decided on a bone-straight look. You decided that you wanted to do slight curls. You curled your hair, pinned the curls so they would set, and got started on your nails. You’ve already done your feet. You decided to do some Gel-X nails. You settled on an XS (extra short) white French tip to match your white toes. It did not take you long to do your nails. The time became later and later, and it was getting close to when you and Mina needed to get dressed. You took a shower and used some Jasmine-scented body wash. After you get out of the shower, you use your Jasmine-scented body oil, which you put on directly after your shower. Your dress was low cut, so you opted not to wear a bra for the event. You wanted everyone to see these beautiful brown titties of yours. You did your make-up. You opted for the 90s look and something a little more modern as well. With yellow eyeshadow that complemented your smooth silky skin beautifully, natural lash extensions, smelling like you came out of heaven, wearing a beautiful yellow dress that no one wouldn’t be able to resist you in. This dress was bright yellow. So bright that it put the sun to shame with how bright it was. The dress was form-fitting and it hugged you in all the right places. You and Mina finished getting ready around the same time. So, you went to her room to see if she was almost finished.
“Bitch. Are you almost done? Are we driving or are the boys supposed to come and get us?” you asked.
“They said they would. But seems like they might just send Bakugo to come get us.” She took a double take at how damn good you looked. “Fuck you look good girl! Look like a fucking goddess. Yellow dress suits you very well.”
“Why thank you! I love being praised sis” you laughed out loud. Mina was a bad bitch too. That’s why that man Kiri wanted her. We all knew it. “Good shit sis! You look damn good yourself. Ass poking, titties sitting right, smelling good. Kiri Is gonna have to fight to keep these dudes off you sis. Maybe you can get some dick from him since you’ve wanted it for so long.”  Y/N said. Mina looked at you confused.
“What do you mean I want Kiri?”
“Girl, we know you have been feeling for that man so bad. From the looks of it, man got a thing for you too.” Y/N smirked at her.
“So, Bakugo is coming to get us? Is that official or is it just something that was already decided, and no one told me?”
“Yes, Bakugo is our personal chauffeur. We better get our stuff because he will pull up any minute. You know this man is always punctual. Sure enough, here comes this blonde-haired nigga knocking on the door super aggressive. You open the door.
“Cocksucker! Stop banging on the door like you are a psycho.” You slightly yelled.
“Ahh put a sock in it… such a fucking B-“he started but was shook by your beauty. Lord. You looked so damn good. So good that the Bakugo Katsuki couldn’t stop staring at you.
“Like something you see pervert?” you asked smirking at him.
“Nothing at all. Brat. Get your shit and let's go. Come on Raccoon eyes. Move it!”
“don’t call her raccoon eyes you mutt.”
“I will call her what I want. Cunt”
“Ahhh. That’s the problem. You can't get any pussy, so you argue with women, Typical small-dick behavior. Hurry up and drive us to this thing”!
As soon as Bakugo was about to say something smart, here comes Mina.
“Always fucking arguing. Y’all are fucking annoying. Jesus. Let’s go”
____________________________________________________________
You guys arrive at the restaurant.
“Damn Y/N. you look good as fuck.” Denki told you. And you got approval from all the rest of the guys too. “Mina. You look good as fuck too. Good enough to eat.” Kirishima stated as he was looking Mina up and down.
“Get a fucking room,” Bakugo said with his usual scowl on his face.
“Maybe if you weren’t such a prick, somebody would take yo bitch ass to a room.” You said that completely pissed him off. And you didn’t give one fuck about him being upset. The rest of the friend circle laughed.
“she’s right Bakubro. When was the last time you had some pussy? Cami? Tonya?” Sero asked. Bakugo looked so fucking annoying that he was getting roasted. Damn. He knew it had been a minute and he was sick of your shit.
“You are such a pain in the ass Y/N. You know that? Just goofy as fuck” Bakugo yelled at you. You started to look at him differently because he looked good.
“Fuck You Katsuki. Such a damn crybaby. You have always been a thorn in my side. Always complain. Being a weird bitch.” You spoke. That pushed him over the limit. He decided that he has enough of your shit. As soon as he was about to say something, the waitress greeted everyone, and it was time for everyone to go to the table. As usual, you just got into it with Bakugo and now you have to sit next to him. Mina sat next to Kirishima, Denki, Sero, you, and Bakugo at the end. As the waitress came around and you guys ordered your food, Bakugo decided to be bold and lean over and whisper in your ear.
“You are such a fucking brat. I hate you so much. I mean that shit. Such a fucking thorn in my ass. But I can't lie. You look good as fuck In this dress. What were you thinkin? Oi… I’ll make him jealous? To piss him off? Well, you got it. I’m fucking pissed.  Especially since you said I couldn’t get no pussy.” Bakugo said. He had never spoken to you in this manner, and it had you all hot and bothered. In a good way. You turned to look at him and he was dead ass serious. He looked good and smelt good too. He had a nice jawline, beautiful red eyes, eyebrow piercing, and an undercut that you could see. He smelt like musk and burnt sugar and it smelled so fucking good. Intoxicating if you will.
“Man fuck you. Still a crybaby. You like to be an ass. So, fuck you. Someone’s daughter is staring at you, and it isn’t me”
Bakugo took that as a challenge. Shortly after that, your drinks came and the waitress was going around to take orders. She started with Mina since Mina was sitting at the end. You felt Bakugo’s hand on your knee. But you ignored him. He then slowly decided to massage your knee and slide up to your leg. He inched slower and slower into your panties. He leaned over and whispered in your ear.
“Such a fucking slut. You not even wearing panties. You look good. Let us see if you feel good too.”
Bakugo slides his hand up your dress and started to rub slow circles on your clit. It felt so fucking good but you were still in public and at the dinner table with everyone. Thankfully, no one was paying attention because everyone decided that they were doing their own thing.
“You…are such a fucking cunt. Lord” you whisper yelled. But you couldn’t deny that he had you feeling so fucking good. You couldn’t believe that Bakugo was making you feel good as fuck like this. Like this nigga knows what the fuck he is doing. “But you feel sooo good Katsuki. I mean shit that feels good. Gonna cum if you keep it up.” You moaned but kept it to a whisper that only the both of you could hear. The waitress came back with the drink and started to take food orders. As the waitress was starting to take orders and come around the table, Bakugo decided it would be amazing and he would stick his finger in your pussy. In and out his one finger went and it was so good.
“Fuck you tight as fuck. So wet fa me. We’re in public baby and I hadn't even touched you yet. Fucking needy. Be good and tell her your order because she’s coming.”
And sure enough. She got to you and it was a struggle to talk because it felt good.
“I’ll take the jerk chick with rice and peas, and double cabbage. Thanks” You said in one breath. She understood but everyone at the table was confused and wondered what was up.
“You ok Y/N?” Sero asked.
“Yeah. I’m ok.” Bakugo kept fingering you under the table and then you eventually came. Soon as he finished fingering you, the food came and he decided to lick his one finger that was all cozy in your cunt.
__________________________________________________
The dinner party was over and you and Bakugo had ended up riding together because everyone wanted to go their separate ways. As you and Bakugo entered your apartment, Bakugo’s lips were on yours. His kiss was soft and needy. He hugged you and kissed you in all the right places. His kiss became needier and needier, and he grabbed your ass to the point where your cheeks spread open and gave it a nice smack. Who would’ve thought that you would be getting ready to fuck Bakugo? Not Me.
“Katsuki, take this shit off please” you practically begged him. You were so horn that it fucking hurt. He started to undress you and you could not take it anymore. You got down on your knees, pulled his boxers down and his dick sprang out. It was long, thick, and had a pretty little vein that was at the top and his tip, swollen and leaking with precum waiting to be milked.
“Fuck!” you said as you immediately went to heart eyes. You grabbed his dick and shoved it in your mouth going antagonizing slow. You bobbed your head up and down showing major love to the tip. That’s where you focus all of your energy. “Fuck, princess. That feels good” he said as you slurped him up like a slushie. You knew he was getting close because of the way that he was cussing and grinding.
“Fuck Y/N. Imma cum…..Shit” Bakugo groaned and shortly after he nutted in your mouth. You were so happy that you had him nut in your mouth that you decided to swallow. After you swallowed, you went back and sucked the dick some more until he couldn’t take this shit anymore.
“Fuck. I'm gonna ruin you. Fine chocolate ass. Wearing this tight-ass dress for me and only me. Fuck. Bend over this couch now.” He demanded. It was so sexy to see him take charge that it made your pussy even wetter than before. You bent over as he said.
“Fuck.. so wet f’me. Thought u were wet at the restaurant. This is like I put my hand in the water. AMAZING” Bakugo moaned just at touching this pussy. He didn’t even have time to prep you for the dick. He inserted himself and he was slowly inching in. As soon as he was fully in to bottom out, he started to ram into you.
“Fuck kkkaaattsuki…yes that feels so good baby. Keep it going “you moaned at the feeling of his dick plaster away into your pussy.
“you like that? You like when daddy fucks you like a good little slut?”
Fuck yess. I-uh fuck”
“Yeah. You’re doing such a good job f’me. Take this dick baby” he groaned.
“Katsuki.. I’m coming” you screamed. “Fuck yes Daddy it feels so good.”
“Where u want that nut baby?” he asked as he sped up his pace to go insanely jak rabbit.
“I want it on my face baby” you moaned. “Fuck Katsuki, cum on my face day”
“Such a nasty filthy slut for daddy. I'm bout to come on that beautiful face of your brat” He praised. He pulled out and nutted all over your face.
Katsuki looked at you and decided that you were going to be his woman forever and a day. After all, you both knew each other like the back of your hands, and he’d seen you covered all in his nut. What else could you ask for from a spouse?
“I love you. Would you be my girlfriend” he asked. This was the first time you had ever seen him in a soft era.
“Yes” as you went to cuddle next to him and give him a soft kiss on the nose. “ I will be your girlfriend”

“So, are you still gonna go?”
“...Maybe.”
“You see all of your best friends together again after six years and you wanna back out now?”
“You know why I’m still-”
“Yeah, yeah.” The voice on the other end of the phone sighed, “...Just letting you know, Collei’s coming too. Amber’s super excited - don’t you wanna see them all again?”
You sighed, debating whether or not to attend your high school reunion. Right? It felt like a simple yes or no question. Wrong. Yes, you were eager to see your friends again. Yes, you want to see if they were still how you remembered them. But, you weren't sure if you wanted to reunite with... certain faces. You flattened the invitation letter with another heavy sigh, reading it for the nth time.
MONDSTADT CENTRAL HIGH REUNION “We cordially invite you to our long-awaited reunion, hosted by our former student council members Jean Gunnhildr, Lisa Minci, Eula Lawrence, Diluc Ragnvindr, and Albedo Kreideprinz. Join us for drinks, music, and food! Events featured: TCG tournaments, karaoke, time capsule re-opening, photoshoots, (free) food, (not free) drinks, and more! On Saturday, September 22nd, 5 p.m. Located at Dawn Winery. ”
You weren’t too far from the old manor, it was only about a 25-minute drive from where you now lived. You had missed the atmosphere there back when you were still in high school. After school hang outs with all your friends, laughing and talking without a care in the world. But that was precisely what you were afraid of. Could you all still laugh and talk the same way you did before? How much did they change, or did they change at all?
With your thumb lightly tapping against the paper, you set it down and picked up your phone again.
“Mona, of course, I’m excited to see everybody again. Hell, if anything, I’m the one who’s most eager to see them all. But you’ve gotta understand,” you continued, “I have literally not talked to any of them for half a decade.”
Silence was met on the other end of the call before laughter burst in your eardrums, small snorts and giggles ringing in your ears. “Really now (y/n)? I had no idea.” She stopped laughing, letting out another exasperated sigh, “Why do you think I called you then? This is a perfect opportunity to talk to everyone again, and if you haven’t noticed, you can’t always talk to me about whatever it is you want to rant about that day.”
Mona was right, you had gotten too used to using her as your personal therapist. She’s been there for you ever since you could remember, well, technically ever since your freshman year of high school. You groaned, embarrassment flooding your senses. It was true, you’ve barely had any contact with your high school friends after getting accepted into college., and ever since that had happened. You winced internally, suddenly feeling a wave of pity for your poor friend. It wasn’t entirely your fault you were so caught up with college, you had to figure out your future right?
It’s not exactly an excuse for as to cutting almost everybody off though… a little voice whispered in your head, you’ve figured it was your guilty conscious, judging you for absolutely every little thing you’ve done and have been doing thus far.
To put it simply - it was driving you nuts.
“Okay Mona, you have a point. But, that doesn’t mean it’s decided i’m going to go.” You heard a huff, “Hey, don’t get mad at me now. I just… need time to think it over.”
“Alright, alright.”
“Thank you, for being so ever understanding.” You could’ve sworn you heard a ‘whatever’, but shrugged it off. “Anyways, I’ve gotta go to the store to restock my fridge, after somebody ransacked for all it was worth.”
“It was one time! Wouldn’t you be so kind as to help a poor astrologer, not to mention best friend, with trifling matters such as a bit of nourishment?”
“Save your excuses, Megistus. Talk to you later, okay?” The mentioned bid farewell and ended the call. Now, was the matter of going out. You had been living alone comfortably for the past year, with the occasional water leaks here and there. Your place wasn’t too shabby, it was close to your ideal living quarters. Ever since college and living with a roommate for four years, keeping up with your kitchen stock has been somewhat of a challenge. It wasn’t like you were broke, you had a financially stable career and lifestyle, you just… happened to get carried away after a while.
Getting up and changing into somewhat acceptable attire to go to the nearest grocery market, you took your keys and left your apartment. Upon exiting, a breeze of autumn air flooded your senses, the sky above painted with a fresh blue. Glancing to your left, you see a stack of very large boxes outside of your neighbor’s door. I’m guessing they’re redecorating? You thought, pushing past the stack.
Your neighbors had moved in about 6 months ago, a pair of twins and their younger sister. You’d talked to the older sister before, even inviting her into your apartment. She was nice, you two have shared similar experiences throughout college. Although the brother was more reserved, occasionally gave you a good morning here and there. As for their younger sister, she was a ball of energy.
Strangely enough, however, was the fact that you would barely see them. The sister had stated that they “have an affinity for traveling” or something along those lines. They were incredibly busy, meeting new people here and there. Something I should pick up, you dully noted.
Getting into your car, you made your way to the nearest grocery store. Okay, so we need eggs, milk, yogurt, fruits, ramen, and whatever else catches my attention. You listed in your mind, although you knew you would forget half of what was on that list. It was a good thing, to get back to getting your life back together. God knows what you went through in college. You inhaled sharply at the flashback, wanting to forget everything that happened throughout high school and college. Shaking off the memories, you had finally reached the market.
You looked up at the sign saying “Mondstadt General Goods”, noting your one objective. Get in, get the groceries, and get out. Shouldn’t be too hard, right?
_________________________________________________
“Come on Klee, Alice trusted me to keep you in line this weekend, Sevens I have so much to prepare for.” An exasperated voice half-heartedly shouts, pushing a shopping cart.
“Coming Miss Jean!” another bubbly and child-like voice exclaims back, running towards the voice.
Jean has had a demanding week. Being the head of the leading police department in Mondstadt and dealing with a much too energetic child all weekend can lead you to exhaustion, apparently. And preparing for a high school reunion in a week can only add to that list.
“Jean, relax a little. We’re on an errand, not one of your military camp training sessions.” Remarked a brunette woman, walking alongside Jean. This was Lisa, Jean’s best friend as one would say. She was almost the complete opposite of Jean, leisurely going on about life. She worked at the library next to Jean's department, occasionally bringing coffee in between her shifts.
“For the last time Lisa, it’s not the military. There’s a clear distinction between-”
“Yes ma’am, so I’ve heard,” teased Lisa, picking up a few items for their cart before squeezing her shoulders. “All I’m saying is to loosen up a little. You’re not Chief Gunnhildr right now, you’re just Jean. And don’t worry, everyone’s contributing to the reunion, you’re not alone.”
Jean smiled weakly at Lisa, before pushing through the aisles again. She tended to get caught up in work, she knew that much. She was embarrassed to say she needed Lisa to keep her grounded. However, that was one of the things she loved about her friend of many years - the way she knew exactly what she needed at any given point in time.
“Hey, about the reunion, did you send out the invitation letters?”
“Of course I did, who do you take me for? I still think text messages or emails would’ve probably been received much better though.”
“Of course you do. Any updates from Diluc or Albedo?”
“Diluc said the manor was free for the weekend, even said we could stay the night there. Albedo checked on the time capsules, said they were still there. And, don’t worry, I doubt he would open any of them.” Recounted Lisa, pulling random items from the snack section.
“Wouldn’t doubt him for the world. Klee, what do you want? You can have any snack as a treat.” Called Jean, craning her neck to look for the short child. “Where’d she go?”
Stepping out of the aisle, Jean’s eyes darted around everywhere. Where did the kid go? She wouldn’t hear the end of this from Alice if she found out her kid escaped her usually watchful gaze. Sevens, she didn’t even want to imagine how many times it would be brought up in one of their coffee sessions.
“Jean, I’m pretty sure we have everything we need. All we need to do is find- oh wait. There she is.” Said Lisa from behind Jean, pointing in front of them.
There she is, thought Jean as she made her way to Klee, already imagining the ear-full she was gonna give the blonde girl. She was running up and down the aisles, before pausing, as if something had caught her attention. “Klee- what did I tell you about going on alone without us? You could get seriously hurt-”
The little girl paid no mind to Jean, giggling and running to her next target. Letting out yet another exasperated sigh, Jean followed. “Young lady, I’m not finished talking to you, stop-” Jean paused, looking at the person who had caught Klee’s attention. (H/l) (H/c) hair, (e/c) eyes, and (s/c) skin- wait, was that..?
“Miss (y/n)!”
__________________________________________
“Miss (y/n)!”
You turned around, only to be pounced on by something- or rather, someone.
“Klee?”
A short girl with blonde hair remained wrapped around your torso, squeezing you with all her might. “Miss (y/n)! Klee hasn’t seen you in soooo long! You missed so many of my adventures!”
You couldn’t help but stare at the small girl in front of you, your hands awkwardly placed in the air. “Uh- yeah, sorry about that Klee. I’ve been super busy, I’m so sorry for missing so many of our play dates, I missed you.”
It was true, you missed the much-too-energetic girl. You would always have small little playdates and adventures back when you were in high school. Although you were a bit too exhausted to run around some days, you would indulge in her antics more than half the time.
“It’s okay, (y/n)! Klee forgives you! You have to promise to play with Klee next time, okay?”
“Of course Klee. Who’s with you right now? Albedo? Alice?” You had to make a quick getaway, you don’t know if you could afford to embarrass yourself in front of any of them after no contact efforts in 4 years.
“No. Only miss Jean and miss Lisa.”
And as if right on time, the two mentioned women appeared behind Klee, surprise adorning both their faces. The two hadn’t changed much after high school, although the bags around Jean’s eyes seemed to have gotten worse. And Lisa was still Lisa after all, the same wistful smile still on her face.
“(Y/n)!” Lisa approached you, putting a hand on your shoulder. “My, my, it’s been so long. How’ve you been? We’ve barely heard from you since graduation you know.”
“Oh, wow, uhm, yeah. I guess it has been a while-”
“Too long in fact, what happened? Are you still with-”
“That's enough Lisa, give her some time to breathe.” Then came your savior, Jean, to your rescue. You watched as Jean chastised Lisa for her straightforward behavior, awkwardly standing there with a child wrapped around you.
“But Lisa has a point, (y/n). It’s been so long, how have you been holding up?” Questioned Jean, both their gazes on you now.
“I’ve been doing well, just you know, keeping busy with life.”
You nearly face-palmed yourself after that excuse of a lie.
“Oh yeah, that reminds me, have you gotten the invitation letter to the reunion? It’s next Saturday. We’re hoping that most if not everybody shows up.” Jean had a glint in her eyes when talking about the reunion. You guessed she’d been eager for it as well.
“Yeah. I was talking to Mona about it over the phone.” You mentioned matter-of-factly. “But… I’m not sure if I’ll be uh… free… that day.” You knew very well that you would most likely be at home, doing nothing and watching TV. Maybe you’d make an effort to deep clean your apartment if it was a good day. Maybe.
Lisa frowned as her grip on you softened, “Surely you can’t be that busy? I’ve missed seeing your face around, darling.” She sighs and lets go of your shoulder with a pat. “I understand though. Let us know if you change your mind though, okay? Maybe we can meet up on a day when we’re all free.”
Jean nodded, sympathy in her eyes. “Agreed. Call us if you ever need any help as well, (y/n).”
You cursed yourself as you saw the two women shrink slightly in disappointment. You couldn’t afford to let them down. Not when you’ve just met again after so many years. As your stomach twisted and turned with uncertainty, you gave them a not-so-final answer.
“I’ll… I’ll see if I can clear my schedule. You guys were right, it has been a while.” You gave them a half smile, Klee looking back and forth between you and the two other women with an elated grin.
Lisa waves you goodbye, “Hope to see you there then, cutie.” Jean pulled Klee away from you with an embarrassed smile and wave.
You supposed it was official then. You were going to the dreaded reunion you hoped to avoid.
_____________________________________________
Standing outside the familiar manor, you dusted off your clothes in an attempt to look presentable. Saturday had come fast and without warning, your heart becoming heavy with every reminder. You weren’t sure why you were this nervous. The last time you had gone out to a gathering or party like this was back in college, and even then you felt somewhat at ease. Maybe it was because of how many old faces would be present. Maybe it was because you would be reminded of everything that happened while you were in high school.
Shaking your head, you knocked on the door. The air was chilly with the aroma of freshly cooked food making its way to your nostrils. You heard overlapping voices, laughs, music, and finally, some footsteps headed in your direction from behind the door. You took in a sharp breath and fixed your posture as the door swung open to a friendly face.
“(y/n!)”
Standing before you was a brunette girl in her 20s, cheery personality and all. Amber. You had missed her.
“Well don’t just stand there, come in!” She took you by your hand and led you into the manor. The moment you stepped into the manor, you were reminded of just how rich the late Ragvindr was. The floors, walls, and stairs were all embellished with dark mahogany wood, a regal chandelier hung over the ceiling. Mostly everything was candlelit, providing a warm atmosphere. Nothing has changed at all.
Then registered in your mind everyone inside the room. Many people ended up coming, including all the old student council members (obviously), Collei, Mona, Venti, Sucrose, and Rosaria. Venti was currently seated at a table with a very irked Diluc and amused Rosaria. Mona and Albedo were in a conversation with each other (with Mona looking all too pleased with herself) while Lisa and Jean were laughing with Eula. Sucrose and Collei were engaged in a hush conversation before Collei spotted Amber. “Amber, (y/n), over here!”
Upon hearing your name, Mona also came over. “So, you did end up coming,” nudged Mona with an all-knowing smirk. You had no reply but a light-hearted glare.
Collei perked up, “Wow (y/n), we haven’t seen each other in years! What are you up to these days?”
“Yeah… just been busy I guess. And you? Still working hard to become a wildlife biologist, was it?” Collei was one of your oldest friends, although a few years your junior, she was in her second year of college.
“Yep! Amber, Sucrose, and Tighnari have been helping me lots! Although Tighnari’s more busy with dealing with his research in Sumeru, I think he mentioned something about having to deal with Cyno’s jokes nonstop…”
You ended up talking for the next hour with everybody. You found out that Sucrose and Albedo both entered the forensics field, Venti pursued his musical career, and Amber worked with Jean in the Favonius Police Department. When you asked what Rosaria did, she had no reply but a sly smile and passed you a drink. It seemed like everyone had moved on with their life respectively. You couldn’t help but feel a little jealous.
Through the haze of the night, you slowly felt more at ease and outspoken. Maybe it was the drinks, or the nostalgia running its course through you, but it felt good. Up until you looked up and saw a familiar shade of blue hair.
“Kaeya! We were wondering when you would show up, it’s been more than 2 hours since we started.” Chastised Amber, a disappointed Jean, and Diluc shaking their heads behind her.
You can’t seem to forgive and forget after all.

pit babe ep 7 thoughts

brain go brrrrrr
[- kinda unrelated but i've now watched boys journey and this entire cast is sooooo lovable and passionate. it makes me appreciate the work they put in so much more. i have to apologise to north and sonic simply because michael and topten are so sweet. funny coincidence that i actually thought their scene was hilarious this week]
- charlie really seems like he's come to terms with the fact that he might die because of tony/ their plan. he was so quick to tell babe he'd die for him (and i don't think it was tactical in a "he'd never say yes so i can use this to make him feel bad about it" kind of way) and was barely fazed by jeff's vision. like, this boy's #1 mission is to keep babe safe at this point. pretty fucked up but..... uwu
- i already said this in a text post but oh my god there HAS to be some kind of backstory to pete's infatuation with way. that was not the way someone behaves around a work acquaintance or someone you had a couple of drinks with. like, the way he looked at him 👁️👄👁️ WHAT DOES IT MEAN. did he legit admire him from afar when they still lived at tony's........ tell me everything
- kim's/ benz's manicured nails YES LORD they look so pretty. the duality is insane. i love everything about him. idk if it's a stereotype re: korean people in thailand (the honor/ pride theme) or what but i keep rooting for him harder and harder each episode. he truly does not take anyone's shit. he's legit willing to die for his principles and i appreciate that. didn't think our first kenta/kim encounters would be like this but i'll fucking take it. they can tend to each other's wounds, emotional and physical
- so. alpha/enigma breeding facility. human trafficking. ORGAN HARVESTING. tony really is a jack of all trades. have i mentioned that i hate how hot he is
- the charlie/babe encounter at the mansion KILLED ME. pavel does despair so, so well. i'm still not over the lip wobble and charlie's shock. like that boy was wholly unprepared for that scenario. he legit couldn't form a single coherent thought. relatable.
- everybody was so focused on the mpreg (😁) that i barely saw anyone talk about how jeff is also meant to be sold off at the auction 😭 charlie and kenta are keeping his location under wraps but like....... is tony that disconnected from xhunter...... like, jeff's gotta be in the background of one of sonic and north's videos right
- the toothbrush ad with way's depressed face and fake smile KILLED ME like these sponsors will really sign off on anything
- babe breaking down ripped me apart like. i don't wanna talk about it. i don't wanna think about it. him blaming himself for trusting someone for once in his life............ fuck. if it weren't for the FUCKING hypnotism, way would've done an alright job comforting him. had to stumble at the finish line as always, huh (nut is so good)
- babe waking up from his nap looking like a rumpled baby chick tore me to pieces. that is my sweetest, loveliest boy.
- the confrontationnnnnnnnnnnn. i feel like a lot more could've been said (charlie...... use your words.....) but i'm making my peace with it happening off-screen. that aside, i loved their back and forth and babe's emotional turmoil and charlie's desperation but also calmness. like, charlie is set on his goals and he wants babe there with him but he'll attempt to take down tony no matter what. he has intrinsic motivators but his love for babe is a driving force as well.
- mpreg! mpreg! mpreg! i, too, want to breed babe's pussy. but if i can't, at least charlie shoots his cumshot every chance he gets
- charlie's backstory 😞 God, no wonder all of tony's kids are so emotionally complicated. babe and way are "too" emotionally volatile, charlie and jeff are "too" closed-off.
- idk what is is about the intimacy between charliebabe but i don't ever get sick of it. i could watch them make out or trade little pecks for hours and never get bored. there's just always that drop of devotion and ~getting lost in each other that i adore more than anything else.
- that being said, charlie having a comeback with the mommy/daddy kink mere minutes after he told babe that he was at risk of being forcibly impregnated SENT ME. girl your timing 😭 keep that knot down
- just a little thing but i loooooove love love how messy the back of charlie's head always gets whenever he and babe make out like. the hands keep handsing hard. puppy.
- OK listen. i was willing to tolerate the friendship revival between babe and way at least partially but WHICH SANE PERSON. brings red roses to a dinner the literal day they're under the impression that their best friend is going through heartbreak. like. CAN YOU BE NORMAL. CAN YOU JUST BE A FRIEND. planning to shoot your shot when you know your bestie is emotionally devastated is sooo vile (affectionate) (i love nut too much to seriously hate way but it's a close call)
- riding dick in a convertible. i am so sorry to say that no other show has ever been this consistently iconic. i need the fucking boxset. and i need that scene (minus the soundtrack) tattooed to the insides of my eyelids. babe was really throwing it back in the middle of a random street. AND it was charlie's idea. "let me help you relieve stress" but babe's the one bouncing on it......... the powerbottom/pillowprincess dilemma
- sorry to keep harping on this but when babe had to grip the headrest while breathing like that....... pavel you're so sick and twisted
- alan being the voice of the masses as always. also......... sailub in tanktops or w/e is my weakness
- sonic and north gossiping like that KILLED ME like. babe was on the other side of the glass door the entire time kings 😭 north..... i'm sorry to say those slaps and punches were deserved
- THE PREVIEW. jeff overhearing tony and (possibly) way??? the destroyed hotel room with blood on the mirror? charlie throwing himself in front of babe to protect him as always?????? DOMESTIC ALANJEFF? whose mansion is that..... is alan that loaded? or is that someone's safehouse??? northsonic developments? way being a little bitch? winner with a GUN? charliebabe trying to escape...... a hotel while dressed like they work at a casino? what isn't happening next week holy fuck
also the outtakes...... pavel ☹️ you did so well
tl;dr: still so fucking glad i get to experience this weekly. the FUN. the ANXIETY. the HORNINESS. i love it here.

Maybe then, Maybe there

“Alright, then. Let’s swim.”
Eddie Munson had always been careful. He had to learn to anticipate every possible scenario so he could react, so he could protect himself. Sometimes that habit made his mind a wasteland, a dangerous place to stay for a long time. But it was necessary, if he didn't want to end up beaten, crushed and shattered, like the time he forced himself not to think of every now and then.
Eddie Munson had to learn to control his life in a way that no other boy his age had to. He was loud and obnoxious, a carefully designed persona to keep everybody away, and it has worked so far. Even if he had failed twice to graduate, he had friends with a purpose. He always had, and he always acknowledged what every single person around him wanted to get from him.
The band members needed a solo guitar and someone to scream his lungs out at the microphone every week. The kids from Hellfire expected him to entertain them with D&D campaigns. Rick needed him to sell to a specific group of people he couldn’t really reach regularly.
It was lonely sometimes, being a mastermind. But it was safe. And he would take safe over lonely every single fucking day of the year.
Yeah, he would. He craved a surprise free life, and after spring break, a portal to hell and a witch hunt from his whole home town, it was a mandatory requirement. A ground rule. No surprises.
And he tried, he tried so goddamn hard to keep working on anticipating everyone’s movements. He absolutely wanted to know, to decipher their means, because after all the shit they’ve been through, why on earth would that bunch of people want to keep being in touch with him? His circumstances made them go through hell; he still couldn’t bear to look at Henderson straight in the eye for more than three seconds, just because he knows what he made that kid go through. He clinically died on his arms, he scarred him for life. The fact that the kid kept showing up every day at the government hospital blew his mind.
He couldn’t anticipate that. Eddie didn’t know what to do with that. He also didn’t know what to do with the fact that along with Dustin Henderson, the rest of the gang were there, visiting him, treating him like he wasn’t the cause of the worst distress of their lives. They worried about him, asked him about his recovery and the scars of the wounds, they brought him gifts and treats, and he even got to know new kids, like Will Byers that Mike couldn’t stop talking about, or his girlfriend El, the superpowered girl. And they were all friendly with him.
What was Eddie supposed to do with that, huh?
What did those people want from him? He had absolutely nothing to give them.
He even tried to apologize to them, maybe that was what they wanted, an apology. But they all looked at him like it was insane (Henderson told that he was actually nuts) and kept coming back.
It took Eddie a few weeks to know that his life now was entirely different and he had to adjust to not being able to anticipate what those people wanted from him. It wasn’t until he heard Buckley talking to Nancy about him and addressing Eddie as “their friend” that he understood that maybe this whole situation had completely destroyed his carefully constructed wall between him and the world, because he had now friends, apparently.
Trying to get a hold of the kids was easy, he just had to organize D&D campaigns again and they would be all his minions again. He could give them something worthy of their times, and that could grant him a glimpse of the control he had lost with all this fuckery. That made him feel less… lost. Safer, in a way.
But then they started inviting him to movie nights, and birthday parties, and they even brought him presents and made him a small surprise party on his birthday (they learned about his birthday being on June 23rd because Erica just looked at his file when he was at the hospital).
It was—it was madness. He took a deep breath, and came to terms with him not having a fucking clue about how to anticipate to that group (exactly when he was blowing the candles of the birthday that Erica and Dustin had baked for him) and just went with it.
And here he was, a random night of August 1986 sitting on Steve Harrington’s car hood at the quarry, talking with him and actually realizing that he had been stupid enough to actually “go with it” a little bit too much.
Being friends with Steve was the most surprising thing of all. See, he didn’t play D&D, he hasn’t smoked weed in four years, he did no drugs (not that he had any on him, now that he wasn’t dealing anymore) they had nothing in common. Steve was fire and Eddie was water. They were—they were supposed to be incompatible. Steve liked sports and Eddie could only run twice in his life when his actual life was in danger. Eddie read fantasy books and Steve hasn’t picked one up since high school. Steve was a morning person, for fuck’s sake.
Steve was the sun and Eddie was the moon. They were not supposed to meet. Ever.
But he was easy to talk to, and he was responsible and loving with the kids, and he had the funniest look on his face when he rolled his eyes at Dustin’s remarks until the back of his skull. When he was with Buckley those two were an unstoppable team, Eddie could swear that they melted and fused into one single hive mind because the way they acted, god, that could be just one person. Their friendship was something to behold with utmost joy. Steve was also a bit bitchy, and Eddie found himself loving that. He learned to read Steve’s judgy face, and what came after was always worthy of his time. The man was witty.
But he was also kind and giving. Maybe his gossiping skills kept him on the loop of every detail of Eddie’s life, or maybe he was just a good listener, but Steve kept asking Eddie about things he mentioned like, two weeks ago, and Eddie was impressed that he remembered.  No one, besides Wayne, has ever paid that much attention to what he had to say.
Eddie was stupid enough to actually want more from that. They started hanging out, and sharing things. Steve gave Eddie the opportunity to laugh at him when he shared stuff about his childhood, but Eddie didn’t laugh. He just shared things in return.
Later he would analyze the fact that he really didn’t want to laugh at Steve, because he wanted him to keep looking at Eddie in the eye, and he did that more and more when he found that Eddie didn’t really mock him for what happened to him, or what he wanted to do with his life. The result of that analysis had Eddie’s head spinning for days.
He was falling in love with Steve, and at this point he didn’t know how to stop it.
Whatever was left of his stupid persona was gone now, and he was utterly fucked, because he realized that he didn’t want to stop hanging out with him, even if it led to his heart to be destroyed. He wanted him.
Eddie wanted the heartbreak, but also wanted Steve’s smiles, and stories, and bitchiness.
Night car rides were a thing now, and there they were, under a full moon, after Eddie just shared with him yet another silly piece of information of his childhood (that he didn’t know how to swim and the fact that he dove through Lover’s Lake was pure intuition and he would not know how to do that again). Steve had hopped off the hood and was lending Eddie a hand.
“Alright then, let’s swim.”
“Didn’t you hear the part in which I told you that I don’t know how to?” Eddie said, rolling his eyes.
“I’ll teach you,” Steve insisted, with a wicked smile on his face while he danced his fingers, urging Eddie to take his hand.
“I’m not a good student,” Eddie said, smile forming on his lips. Oh, he was so going to end up in that stupid lake, wasn’t he?
“Then I’ll get you, you won’t drown, I swear.”
Eddie looked at him in silence, and then at his hand, he took it, but didn’t leave the car. He spoke softly.
“I don’t have any swimming trunks,” Eddie said, as his last retort.
“Neither do I,” Steve said through his smirk.
“Are you suggesting skinny dipping?”
Steve burst in laughter, but Eddie actually stood next to him, hand in hand.
“No, you are,” Steve said. “I was going to keep my underwear on, but if you’re so eager to spice this up, then, yeah. Totally naked.”
Steve was fucking unreadable. Why did a straight jock, boring young man that wanted everything missionary, and a house with a wife and half a soccer team of kids happen to be so hard to foresee?
What did Eddie miss about him? And why the fuck was he already taking his shirt off?
Before they both could know it (and Eddie was blaming the blank canvas that his mind was now that he apparently decided to let himself go, carefree and dangerous) they were at the shore of the quarry in nothing else but their boxers. Steve didn’t hesitate, and he walked into the water.
“Come on man, it’s warm.”
“What if there are—uh—things? Actually, Harrington, how the fuck are you not shitting your pants at the idea of swimming in another lake at night after what happened to you?” Eddie asked, ranted, really, but he was already getting into the water.
He observed Steve, that he was already chest deep. He really observed him.
Steve was—god, he was beautiful. Scarred in his stomach and his back, his pinkish, healing wounds were visible under the full moon. He looked like he was made of silver and it felt wrong in Eddie’s mind because Steve’s color was gold, not silver. Eddie saw him run his wet hands through his hair, combing it back, and, yeah, yes, he was something else.
He was the kind of something else that he wouldn’t have dared to dream of, the kind of something else that made him force himself to look away every single time they were showering after PE, or dressing in the locker room. Steve was the kind of something else that Eddie could not have, and looking at him with want was nothing but hurtful.
Steve turned around and looked Eddie in the eye. He smiled briefly and then he sank under the surface, and Eddie panicked. When he came back a couple of seconds later, Eddie felt himself like he could breathe again.
“Dude! Not. Cool!” Eddie said with a hand on his chest, worrying expression on his face.
Steve laughed, honest, bright.
“Sorry, I’m so sorry, man. My bad,” Steve said, bubbly, light hearted.
Eddie rolled his eyes at him and looked away for a second, trying to recompose. When he looked back at Steve, he—he was staring at Eddie.
Eddie saw Steve’s eyes roaming through his chest and he suddenly felt hyper aware of his own looks, scarred and broken, tattoos destroyed, meaningless ink of what once was a cool design. Designs that were made to reinforce the persona that was no longer with him, also broken and scarred. Eddie swallowed around nothing when he realized that it was such a poetic parallel.
In an impulse to stop the staring, Eddie came closer, sinking until his chin, in front of Steve. The younger man didn’t even bother to pretend that he wasn’t staring, and looked at Eddie’s face when they were next to each other.
“Do they give you hell? The—uh, the scars. Do they still hurt?”
Eddie didn’t know why Steve was suddenly whispering. The slick, wet skin on his face, on the tip of his nose, on his cupid arch, were gleaming under the moonlight. Eddie followed the light, and it was a mistake. He looked back at Steve’s eyes when he answered.
“Sometimes. Yeah, sometimes they hurt.”
“Mine too.”
Eddie studied his face.
“Do you—do you think that he—”
“No,” Steve said quickly. “No, it’s over. He’s dead. I think they hurt because they’re still healing and nothing more.”
Eddie looked away.
“You’re safe.”
And there it was. The hurt.
He didn’t need to be told that before. Steve telling him that he was safe was a reminder that he had no control over anything.
“How do you know?” Eddie asked, also whispering. He saw Steve struggling to reply to that, and before Steve could read that question differently, Eddie specified:  “How do you know that he’s not coming back?”
Steve shrugged and smiled at him, crouching enough to be chin deep, too, mirroring Eddie.
“I need to believe that this time is for good. There’s no point in going on with our lives if we are stuck in that headspace, you know?” Steve licked his lips and he was suddenly, somehow, closer to Eddie. He didn’t see when he moved. “Like, what’s the point of trying to get a good job if I’m always fighting monsters in my head? Why would I try to find a person to fall in love with, to marry, to build a family with?” Steve studied Eddie’s face before he continued, again, closer.
“Steve—”
“Why would I even bother?” Steve asked, and Eddie felt Steve’s warm hands grasping his under the water.
Eddie didn’t quite know what was happening, but he felt Steve’s forehead against his, and he was starting to feel dizzy with want. This was—god, this was insane.
Why was he so close? Why—why was he telling him this?
There was something that didn’t feel quite right. And Eddie hated that he knew exactly what.
“Is that what you want in life, Steve? A wife and a family?” Eddie’s voice was a little trembling and he felt like shuddering all of the sudden, like the water went extremely cold, and the skin against skin was burning him alive. He could even taste Steve’s breath in his mouth, and his mind, god. His mind was clouded, overcast, no sun to be seen even if it was right in front of him.
It took Eddie a couple seconds to understand that Steve didn’t respond.
Steve was still unreadable to Eddie, and Eddie had never been more lost in the past few months that he was at that moment.
“What I want,” Steve said, low, raspy, shaking. “What I want is to live, Eddie.”
Steve didn’t ask Eddie with words. Steve asked for Eddie’s permission to kiss him looking at him in the eye, and then to the lips, and back to the eyes. He gave Eddie time to back down, and when he didn’t, he came slightly closer, grazing his lips against his. Eddie forgot how to breathe, especially when Steve stood there, not kissing him, not moving. Waiting for Eddie to move away.
Eddie laced his fingers with Steve under the water and that was permission enough for Steve to finally mold his mouth against Eddie’s.
Eddie’s mind crashed. He didn’t understand anything that was going on. It still didn’t click. Maybe he was sleeping, maybe this was nothing but a feverish dream but it felt quite too real.
Steve was kissing him, gently, softly. Tentatively. Steve kissed his bottom lip, once, twice, three times. It was only when he tilted his head to deepen the kiss that Eddie actually kissed back.
It still felt off, but they kissed, oh, they kissed. Steve cupped his jaw with a hand, drawing him closer, chest to chest, wet skin slick and soft against one another. Burning bright and all consuming.
Swimming lessons forgotten, they kissed and touched until the water was actually too cold for their bodies and they had to get out of the lake. Eddie tried not to think too much of what he thought he knew about Steve, he tried not to think about if Steve was finally showing his cards about what he wanted to get from Eddie. Eddie decided not to listen to that voice, not that night, not when water and fire actually made magic together, like an impossible. Like a paradox, the universe destroying itself and building itself back.
Steve Harrington, the unreadable man, surprising Eddie once again, against his will, by kissing him.
Eddie didn’t pry about Steve’s sexuality, that was a conversation for the future. Their bodies were around a towel that Steve retrieved from his car, pressed together, still kissing fiercely, pulling up sighs and moans from each other.
“You didn’t—uh—you didn’t teach me how to swim,” Eddie said suddenly, stupidly, and he scolded himself. Steve laughed in his lips.
“Yeah, that’s right. I’m sorry. I can teach you another time, though,” Steve suggested. Eddie smiled in his lips, ignoring that terrible feeling.
“A-ha. Yeah, sure. We can—we can do that, yeah,” they both laughed softly, still pressed together. “Was this your plan all along? Getting me naked and kissing me stupid?”
Steve laughed again and Eddie wanted to die in his laughter. “No, not really. I really wanted to teach you to swim, but,” Steve gave Eddie a peck, “you kept asking about what I wanted and, um—nobody has asked me that in a long time. And I—well, I just realized there what I wanted.”
“To live?” Eddie asked, not really teasing.
“Yeah. I want to live, to love, to have a family and a nice house,” Steve said, smiling. He looked into Eddie's eyes. “I want all that, Eddie.”
And that was what it wasn’t clicking.
Because Eddie couldn’t give him what he wanted. Eddie couldn’t give him a fancy wedding, a nice life, in a respected neighborhood. He couldn’t bear children of their own. They probably wouldn't be able to buy a house because he knew, he saw how clandestine and secretive lives like that were. How dangerous, how mortifying not being able to hold hands in public.
A life with Eddie would bring Steve nothing but misery and his dreams crushed, shattered, scattered all over.
Eddie was not part of that equation, and he wouldn’t let himself be, because Steve deserved to have all that, everything that he wanted.
What was happening between them, the kisses under the silver moon, bare and wet and full of dying love, was turning that quarry into a graveyard of the unborn life that they were not meant to have together.
Eddie hugged him tighter, kissing him deeply and hungry and leaking what was left of his love for that fantasy into Steve’s mouth, hoping that it would be imprinted in his blood and in his lips for the rest of his life that he so wanted to fully live.
That he could foresee.
For that he could prepare.
But not that night. Not that night. Not when it was new and raw and experimental.
Maybe it could work in another world, Eddie thought, where fire and water can kiss, and the sun and the moon can share the same sky at the same time.
Maybe then.
Maybe there.

dogshit little hangry sunny thing i got sidetracked making him all sad & he was too miserable to stuff himself stupid like he was supposed to. will try a better one next time
[hunger, emotional anguish]
Sunny's stomach growled angrily, and he wrapped his arms around his sunken middle with a soft whine of discomfort. It was after one now, and due to a series of his own mistakes, he hadn't eaten a thing all day.
"Would you quit whining? You knew what time we were leaving, you had plenty of time to eat something," said Laurie.
"Well I didn't," he snapped. "What the hell am I supposed to do, build a time machine?"
"Don't get fresh with me, Sunshine," she said. He glared up at her, and she thought he looked like he was going to cry.
"Come on, Laurie, have a little pity," said Carrie. "Poor guy looks like he's about ready to take a bite out of the seat." Laurie, who had been stuck sitting next to Sunny all morning, shot Carrie a look in the mirror. She did not look open to the idea of pity.
"Can't we just stop at a rest stop? It'll be fast," Sunny begged. His tummy growled pitifully.
"No! We already stopped and you spent the whole time fucking around! We don't have time for another stop, so quit asking!"
"I was not fucking around! I was waiting for the bathroom," he argued. "Come on, Laurie, please?" Fed up, Laurie pulled over.
"Switch seats with Wendy," she said. Sunny looked up at her, shocked, and was met only with a cold stare.
"But--"
"Switch with Wendy! You're driving me nuts, Sunny! Go on!" He looked at her for a moment, then reluctantly unbuckled his seatbelt. He'd been tasked with navigating during the drive, but after a long morning of complaining from him and his belly, Laurie was exhausted. It had been his own fault; he'd gotten distracted and skipped breakfast, and he'd failed to have lunch when everybody else was eating. The group were on a tight schedule, and while she felt a little sorry for him, she didn't feel sorry enough to waste any time. He'd made his bed, and she was going to let him lie in it.
Wendy assumed the role of navigator, and Sunny was banished to the back of the minivan. He sat and sulked, hunched over to hold his aching stomach. It growled miserably, and he winced at the sharp pang of hunger that tore through it. His stomach hurt. His head hurt. Now, regretting having pissed off Laurie, his heart hurt too. In typical Sunny fashion, he'd behaved like a petulant child and gotten punished for it. It would've stung regardless, but his stormy emotions were only amplified by his hunger. Frustrated and upset, he found himself blinking back tears, and his breath hitched in his throat. He covered his face.
Gray's large hand on his back brought Sunny to attention. He looked up, quickly wiping his damp eyes. Gray was probably the only person who Sunny didn't mind seeing him cry, but right now, he felt even more ashamed than usual. With a sympathetic look in his soft eyes, Gray motioned for Sunny to move to the middle seat. Quietly, he did, and was immediately wrapped tightly in his friend's warm arms. Gray rested his hands on Sunny's stomach, and he could feel it tense up as it groaned desperately. Gently, he rubbed his friend's sore tummy, hoping to soothe it at least a little bit.
Sunny had tried to be silent in his despair, but his shaky sniffles inevitably made their way up to Laurie's ear, and the frequent rumbling of his empty belly haunted her like the wail of a ghost. She sighed, feeling guilty. As much of a pain as he was, Sunny was sensitive, and she regretted snapping at him. He couldn't help being hungry, even if it was his own fault. As she drove, a sign caught her eye, and she turned off the next exit.
"Alright," she said, pulling into McDonald's.
Laurie took the group through the drive thru, then parked the car. Wendy took the wheel, and Gray was assigned navigator. Laurie moved to the back with Sunny. He sat silently eating his Big Mac as Wendy pulled out, dark eyes fixed blankly on the car door. He was ravenous, although the prolonged hunger had begun to make him feel queasy, and he didn't have the energy to inhale the sandwich like he normally would have anyway. Tired and humbled, he took another listless bite. Watching him, Laurie thought he looked thoroughly beaten down. She sighed.
"I'm sorry," she said. He stopped chewing for a moment, then looked at her. Her face was filled with remorse. He swallowed.
"I'm sorry too," he said quietly. He took another bite. His stomach was still sore and his head still ached, but he was beginning to feel a little better as he ate.
"You don't have to be," said Laurie. "So you forgot to eat, big deal. I should've just let you get something."
"It's fine," he mumbled. "Lesson learned."
"Lesson learned," she agreed. "Both of us." He tilted his head, confused. Laurie's gaze fell down to the seat.
"Making your friends cry doesn't solve anything," she said, ashamed. Sunny considered that, taking another bite of burger.
"I don't know," he said with his mouth full. "I mean, I cried and you took us to McDonald's. That solved my problem. Maybe I should start crying all the time." She looked back up.
"Sunny, you are such a knucklehead." He smiled at her, his usual mischievous spark back in his eyes.
Sunny slowly finished his food, and at long last, his belly was full. Maybe a little more than full, Laurie thought, judging by the way it poked out against his snug shirt. He let out a soft sigh of contentment, resting his hand on his stomach and his head back against the headrest.
"Better?"
"Yeah."

👻୧‿︵‿︵ ash vs. evil dead sentence starters
these are quotes taken from the starz series ash vs. evil dead. send in one of the prompts below for my muse’s response. please change pronouns/names where you see fit.
First thing I got to do is see a guy about a book. Must be some spell I can say to undo all this.
The other first thing I got to do is some cardio, ’cause my heart is jackhammering like a quarterback on prom night.
One false move, and I will Second Amendment your brains all over this truck.
We’re not leaving a trail of blood and guts behind us, we’re keeping Michigan moist.
There’s one thing I learned from [name]. Shoot first, ask questions never.
Last time I was here with a girl, I was hopin’ to get laid.
If I’ve learned anything from you, [name], it’s that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Hey, I’m looking for a friend. He’s, uh, tall, dumb, smells like… bread.
You fought this thing before. Maybe you just got to finish what you started.
Yes, I’m upset. Yes, I’m behind the wheel. Yes, I’m drunk. And maybe my license isn’t the fancy kind from the DMV. But at least I’m drunk!
Without good, there is no evil.
With all due respect, your tiny brain is a lot safer without my problems inside it.
Trust me, once you get jacked in the face, it’ll all click. I can’t even get my nut up to rumble unless I’ve had a good shot to the chin.
Once again I saved the world. Now it's time to get the girl.
Most people go through life thinkin’ they’re totally safe. People like us, we know the truth. Life is hard and dangerous, and sometimes you just gotta chop off somebody’s head to survive.
I kill demons, not people. Unless those people are demons, who look like people. And then I kill people, but they’re not really people, they’re demons. You understand?
Never get between a papa bear and his cub.
What’s out there knows that you’re alive, and it wants you to be… un-alive.
Well, good news I found a piece of pie with no blood on it. Anybody want a bite?
To save those two, I would submit to a prostate exam.
This town is only big enough for one asshole, and that asshole is me.
Sometimes what you think you saw, it’s exactly what you saw.
Someone needs to wash your mouth out, kid. And that someone is me.
Now I’m gonna kill you, just like I killed your father! I didn’t really kill your father, that just kinda sounded cool.
I gotta warn you, you’re gonna want to leave your husband for me, and I can’t let that happen. Family values.
I’m not drunk enough to know if this is good-weird or bad-weird. But I’ll get there though.
I’m going to be like a ninja losing his virginity, quick and discreet.
I told you. A good shot to the face always gets the juices flowin’.
Thanks for the opinion, appreciate it. Now you can take it, turn it sideways, shove it right up the old poop chute.
When you get back to Hell, work on your aim.
Do you know what evil is, [name]? It’s power without fear, without guilt, and without pain.
Hey, good looking. You here to break me out or break me in?
I'm gonna get you pregnant later.
I'd know that caboose from anywhere.
Even if this goes perfectly, there's a good chance you'll die.
Well, [name], it's been fun catching up. Sorry I got to kill you.
Don't you get it? Everybody dies here. It's just a rule.
If once you start down that path, forever, it will dominate your destiny.
Did you just Yoda quote me?
Alright, look, we get this done quick enough, we might have time to stop for churros.
Yeah, well, your cooking was shit.
Yeah, I remember when I was like you. Young, dumb, full of… conflicting emotions.
Sweet musical Jesus, that's your friend? Oh, she's filthy and fine!
She haunts my dreams. Just kidding. She does, though.
Do me a favor will ya, thank your mother for me?  She passed her genes down to you in all the right places.
Damn, [name]. Badass.
Why are you covered in blood?
So look, uh, I'm not a grief counselor, but if it's any consolation, I have had to kill and bury loved ones before. A bunch of times, actually.
Oh sure. I'll just sit here with the police officer we tied up and rethink my recent life choices.
Get ahold of yourself, woman!
I'm gonna say a lot of dumb things.

Alright y'all.
I know I made it seem like I was back for good but I'm leaving again-- I think this time for good, unless it's on a separate account to promote my book only. No one did anything, it's just I have a lot on my plate that I'm not used to and life isn't slowing down for me anytime soon.
I tried to add to some of my series on here, but I just lacked any and all motivation to do it. All of my writing energy is packed into my novel series, and that's in my spare few minutes of free time.
I might pop back on here from time-to-time to say hi.
I'm leaving my blog up, of course, so that my stories don't disappear on you guys, I just won't be active anymore. If any of you follow me on tiktok, it's purely a platform for my novels, not anything else.
To my followers, you guys are the best. I remember my first story on here, Batons and Unicorns, driving everybody nuts and blowing up. That was pretty cool. Thank you all for making my time on here memorable and exciting.
To my mutuals and friends, you guys were there for me no matter what and we had a ton of fun times together. I'll never forget any of that. In a time where I was really struggling y'all were still present. Thank you guys; I'll pop back in occasionally to say hi, since tiktok is solely for my book I won't do much (if any) communicating on there.
Without either mutuals or followers, I doubt that my writing could be what it is now.
But now, I've got to go. Thank you all for a lovely journey, but now it's time for me to move on.

Bread on Toast - A Future Man Fanfiction
Josh Futturman and his fellow coworker and best friend, Liv Branson, get roped into saving the world as time traveling saviors with, what were thought to be, video game characters, Wolf and Tiger. Not only are Liv and Josh completely incompetent, but they are also emotionally inept- will this cause the destruction of mankind? Only time will tell.
Warnings: strong language, (this is probably the episode you all have been waiting for) Josh puts on lingerie (and looks hot while doing it), alludes to Kronish and Leslie having sex, hijinks are about to ensue
Chapter 8: Operation: Fatal Attraction
A/N: hey party people, just wanted to pop in and tell you this is my favorite chapter :p
Tiger threw Josh to the ground faster than he had time to react. All of the sudden his back hit the ground and it knocked the wind out of him.
“Tiger!” Liv cried, also shocked.
“Are you fucking kidding me?!” Tiger yelled, stepping on his chest. “This was not the plan. You’re fucking up the plan!”
“This day was the turning point in Kronish’s life!” Josh gasped. “He was going to give it all up and sail away with his one true love, Leslie! Instead he stayed with his wife and kept doing research. It’s his biggest regret-“
Tiger rolled her eyes at Josh’s blabbering. “Wolf! Help me stand on his chest!” She called to Wolf, who was still excitedly checking out the Corey Hart poster.
“Tiger! Off his chest!” Liv snapped her fingers as if Tiger were a dog. “Let him breathe!”
“I thought you weren’t happy with him.” Tiger said flatly to Liv. “Why don’t you help me stand on his chest.”
“Tiger, let him speak!” Liv marched up to Tiger, ready to push her off of Josh’s chest, but realized she might suffer the same fate if she did that. Josh tried to sit up but Tiger just pushed him right back down with her boot.
“Tiger,” Josh’s voice cracked. “You said that if there was a way to save the world without killing anyone you would do it. This is a way.”
Tiger pursed her lips as she considered this. “How do we get him on the boat?” Tiger shot Liv a glare as she inched a little too close. “He gets to get up if he can come up with an actual good plan.” She hissed to Liv, who shrunk away, giving Josh an apologetic look.
“We already know Kronish is having an affair with Leslie. So, we just need to expose that-“
“Difficult.” Tiger interrupted, placing her hands on her hips and shaking her head down at him.
“-which will blow up his marriage-“
“Speculative .”
“-which was bad anyways because Marigold was already cheating on him too-“
“Hearsay.”
“-which would give him the push he needs to leave. It’ll be a win-win for everybody!” Josh finished, sounding positive. “It’s gonna work. Trust me, alright? We’ll go back to 2017 to a world with no Kronish Labs…and if there is, well, there’s always a baby to kill in 1949.”
Wolf wandered back to the group holding two ice cream cones, offering Liv one. Tiger caught Josh’s attention again by slightly digging her heel into his ribs, making him wince.
“If you time trick us again, I'll burst your nut sack.” She stated, taking her foot off his chest.
Josh’s expression fell as he instinctively covered his crotch. “…okay…” he mumbled, sitting up. Liv held out a hand and helped him to his feet as she licked her ice cream. “Hey, Wolf,” he looked at Wolf, who was licking his ice cream as well. “We need some wheels.”
Wolf stopped licking the ice cream. “Oh, I’ll get you 100 fuckin’ wheels.” He said, growing excited.
“Oh, uh, no, we just need four. On a car.” Josh said, glancing at Liv again, who glanced at him too, trying to suppress a smile behind her ice cream, probably at how giddy Wolf seemed to be. Josh couldn’t help but grin too, her smile was contagious.
“On it.” Wolf nodded, diving back into the chocolate ice cream.
“Is that good, Wolf?” Liv giggled. Wolf was on cloud 9, he’d never had ice cream before.
“Fuckin’ delicious.” Wolf looked like he was making out with the ice cream. Liv snickered and scrunched her nose, going back to her own ice cream. Josh’s eyes were still stuck on Liv. He had no thoughts in his head, he’d even forgotten where they were for a second. He just watched Liv giggle at Wolf. He liked her laugh.
“What else?” Tiger’s harsh voice snapped him back to reality.
“We’ve, uh, we’ve got some shopping to do.” Josh said, looking back to Tiger, her eyes piercing into his.
“What.” She grumbled.
“I’ll explain when we get there.” Josh said.
“Are we going to get, like, era appropriate outfits, because we look stupid, Josh.” Liv said, referring to the janitor uniforms they both were wearing.
“Uh, if you want?” Josh shrugged. “You don’t look stupid though, Liv, I hope you know that.” Wolf hummed happily, licking some melting ice cream off of the cone. Tiger sharply exhaled through her nose and slapped the cone from Wolf’s hand. Wolf looked down at the ice cream, stunned. Tiger slapped Liv’s from her hands too and marched away. Liv frowned.
“Tiger,” Wolf growled. “I was licking that.”
“I don’t give a shit.” Tiger snapped as she stomped away.
“Jesus,” Liv muttered, trying to wipe chocolate ice cream off of her jumpsuit. “What’s her deal?”
Wolf sauntered after Tiger, and Josh and Liv fell slightly behind. “I thought I came up with a good plan, she stopped stepping on me.” Josh mumbled to Liv.
“Oh…she might still be moody from the police station.” Liv whispered.
“Maybe.” Josh whispered back. Tiger whipped her head around to glare at them.
“Could you walk any fucking slower? Come on! We don’t have all day!” She lashed. Liv and Josh both sped up. As they both walked closer to Tiger and Wolf, their hands brushed. Liv’s immediate response was to move her hand away, acting like she just needed to scratch her arm. Josh’s hand lingered for a moment as his brain buffered. He slowly copied Liv, moving his hand away and pretending he needed to rub his eye. Wolf stopped in his tracks and turned around.
“Okay Liv, you and me need to go find us a sweet ride.” He beamed.
“Actually!” Josh blurted out, louder than he’d meant to. “Wolf, you can do this on your own.”
“Are you sure?” Liv asked skeptically.
“Yeah!” Josh awkwardly folded his arms.
“I can go by myself?” Wolf asked, sounding stunned that Josh trusted him. Tiger pursed her lips and looked annoyed.
“Fine.” She gave an annoyed huff. “Wolf, get us a car.” She glanced at Josh and looked him up and down. She then glanced at Liv, then back to Josh, realizing she was about to be third wheeling. Wolf took off running.
“I won’t let you down!” He shouted as he ran off.
“Where are we going Josh?” Liv asked, combing her fingers through her hair. Josh stared at her for a moment. Liv gave him a weird look, making him blink and look at the ground. Tiger groaned. Yeah, she was third wheeling.
“Okay, so, we need to find a lingerie store.”
The moment they walked up to the adult shop, Liv started to separate from the group.
“Liv, where are you going?” Josh asked, sounding panicked. He didn’t want to be left alone with Tiger and surrounded by lingerie.
“We’re getting weird looks, I’m going to get an era appropriate outfit.” Liv said.
“Smart.” Tiger stated from behind Josh.
“Liv, can’t you wait?” Josh whined, he didn’t feel comfortable picking out lingerie for Tiger. He called his plan “Operation: Fatal Attraction”, like the movie, Fatal Attraction.
“Josh.” Liv sighed and pointed to the clothing store next door. “I’ll just be in there. You’re a big boy, go and pick out lingerie.” She poked him in the ribs. Josh’s stomach flip flopped and his cheeks flushed as she turned and walked into the neighboring store and stared longingly after her.
“…you’ve gotta be shitting me.” Tiger murmured as she marched into the adult novelties store. Josh snapped back to reality and followed her in.
“Wait- Tiger!”
“Do I seriously have to hang around…” she gestured to all of Josh. “…this right now?”
Josh frowned. “Ouch…”
“This pathetic, sad, little…puppy dog man?” She spat. People around them started looking.
“Tiger, that’s mean.” Josh mumbled.
“You’re a pathetic mess right now.” Tiger hissed through gritted teeth. Josh looked like a deer in headlights as she leaned down to his level. “Stay hard.”
“What?”
“Stay hard.” Tiger repeated. Josh blinked obliviously. “Stop staring at Liv.” She squinted her eyes at him. “You’re supposed to stay focused.” Josh went beet red and turned to a rack of bras and started looking through them without responding. Tiger let out a heavy sigh and put her hands on her hips. “…sorry.” She hesitated before saying it, she wasn’t usually one to apologize and she wasn’t sure why she felt the need to do so, but she did. She took another deep breath in and out. “Let’s just get this job done. Why are we here in this skimpy clothes store?”
“It’s like the movie Fatal Attraction, you’re playing a psycho mistress like the one played by Glenn Close, but you will be posing as Leslie. In the movie she has sex with Michael Douglas, who’s like Kronish. We’re going to go into Kronish’s house, take some sexy pictures of you on his bed, leave it there for his wife to find, affair exposed, marriage over, future saved.”
“Or,” Tiger said, picking up some red knee high nylon socks. “We put a gun to his head and make him get on the boat.”
“No Tiger, we can’t force him. It has to be on his own free will, okay?” Josh shook his head, picking up a corset as holding it up to Tiger’s body. She tensed up and pursed her lips. “That looks right, right?” Josh muttered.
“Don’t touch me.” Tiger slapped the corset away and rolled her eyes.
“What about this robe?” Josh studied a pink lace and silk robe.
“I literally don’t care.” Tiger huffed. “Just get something and let’s get this over with.”
Tiger was annoyed the rest of the time while Josh held up different bra options for her to wear asking questions like “what size are you?” (She didn’t know) “what color looks best on you?” (She didn’t care) “Would you be willing to wear assless chaps?” (She was 5 seconds away from strangling Josh with said assless chaps).
“Why can’t Liv do this?” Tiger finally complained, slapping a thong out of his hands.
“Because-“ Josh froze. The very thought of Liv in any of this was too much for his brain to handle. “Because, you’re doing it.” Josh choked out. Tiger groaned. “Tiger, just go with me here, okay?” Josh sighed, making his way over to the section with lipsticks on display.
They bought the items they’d picked out and met Liv outside of the shop, who was wearing baggy jean shorts and a yellow tank top. She fit right in and Josh thought she looked really pretty. In the most platonic way possible, of course. It’s not like he was falling for her every time he looked her in the eyes.
“So, what is this?” Liv asked, snatching the bag from Josh’s hands and rifling through it. “Josh, are you going to seduce Kronish?” Liv teased, giving him a smug look and pulling out a tube of lipstick.
“Ha. Ha.” Josh snatched the bag back. “No.” He grabbed the lipstick from her hand and stuck it back in the bag.
“I’m psycho mistress, Glenn Close.” Tiger said. “I have pleasure sex with Michael Douglas.” Liv gave her a weird look.
“Fatal Attraction.” Josh added.
“Yeah, I know that movie. What does this have to do with anything?” Liv asked.
“We’re going to take sexy pictures of Tiger on Kronish’s bed and leave them for Marigold to find.” Josh said.
Liv nodded. “Hot.” A red car came squealing to a halt on the street next to them and Wolf proudly got out.
“What the fuck is this?” Tiger grumbled.
“1985 Pontiac Fiero GT, 2.8 liter V6, 140 horsepower, and four fuckin’ wheels.” Wolf proudly folded his arms and leaned against the car.
Tiger looked unimpressed. “And two fucking seats.”
“Where do Liv and I sit?” Josh asked.
“Liv can squeeze next to Tiger.” Wolf said.
“No.” Liv and Tiger said at the exact same time. They already knew how Tiger didn’t like when Liv sat too close.
“Josh,” Wolf opened the hood of the car to reveal a small trunk that held a man who was bound and gagged.
“Jesus Christ!” Josh gasped.
“Wolf! Did you steal this man’s car?” Liv scolded.
Tiger stepped forward and slammed the hood. “This car is useless.”
Josh turned to Liv with panicked eyes. “Is that kidnapping?” He asked frantically. Liv shrugged and looked equally as panicked.
“We’d be more successful if we took electrodes, attached them to a sewer clown’s nuts and told him to run.” Tiger narrowed her eyes at Wolf.
“Oh what? You wanna sedan? Fuckin- a minivan? We’re gonna look lame!” Wolf argued.
“I’ll make you lame if you don’t return this car.” Tiger demanded. “That’s an order.”
Wolf looked at Liv, as if she would say something different. “Fine.” He seethed when Liv didn't say anything.
“And- and return the guy please.” Josh spoke up as Wolf angrily got in the driver’s seat. Wolf growled and slammed the door. He rolled down the windows and shot Tiger a nasty glare.
“Can a fucking sewer clown do this?” He growled as he loudly revved the engine. He sped away and the tires squealed. The three of them stared after the car for a moment, Tiger looking pissed, Josh looking stressed, and Liv looking scared.
“Okay. We’re walking.” Tiger turned on her heel and started walking down the sidewalk.
“Tiger,” Josh spoke up. “We have to go this way.” He pointed in the opposite direction. Tiger rolled her eyes and walked quickly past Liv and Josh.
“Does she know where she’s going?” Liv whispered to Josh as Tiger walked further and further ahead.
“I have no idea if we even know where we’re going.” Josh admitted quietly.
“He probably lived in the same house in ‘85…right?”
“I hope so.”
There was a few minutes of awkward silence between them, save for Liv and Josh calling up to Tiger when to make a turn. Tiger would throw dirty looks back at them, but would do as they would tell her. She clearly didn’t like being ordered around, even when it was simply just directions to Kronish’s house.
“Hey Liv?” Josh finally said, clutching the bag of lingerie in his arms. “Are you still mad at me?”
“What? Oh,” Liv folded her arms and looked at the ground. “Josh, I wasn’t mad at you, it’s just that I felt embarrassed.”
“Why are you embarrassed?”
“Josh, I really don’t want to talk about it.” Liv sighed. “Please.”
“Liv, I just wanted to say I’m really sorry for bringing it up. I thought Jeri was lying and that it was crazy, I…I just don’t want you to be mad at me.” Josh apologized.
Liv’s body language shifted, uncrossing her arms and becoming less guarded. “I’m not mad at you, Josh,” Liv laughed lightly. “I promise. It’s just…wouldn’t you feel a little embarrassed if someone had told Jeri you’d liked her and she approached you about it?”
Josh nodded and shrugged. “Yeah, good point.”
“This doesn’t mean I don’t want to be friends, I hope you know. I promise I won’t act all weird now. I don’t ever want to lose you.” Liv said. Josh’s heart swelled as he slowed down and gave Liv a sentimental and sweet look.
“Yeah, same. You mean a lot to me.” Josh looked down at the ground and felt his cheeks get warmer.
Liv bumped shoulders with him as they walked. “I mean, you’re cool I guess. I tolerate you.” She teased. Josh looked back at her, a sappy grin spreading over his face.
“I see it.” Tiger stated loudly, turning right.
Josh and Liv both sped up. Sure enough, the name Kronish was scrawled in cursive along the side of their mailbox in front of their house.
“Rat pot.” Tiger muttered, ducking behind a car. Josh grabbed Liv’s arm and followed Tiger. Tiger went digging through her satchel and pulled out a pair of binoculars, handing them to Josh. “Find an entrance, we can’t just walk in through the front door.”
Josh peeked over the hood of the car with the binoculars. He looked around for a moment, when he saw a little white cat climb up and into an open window. “Bingo. I found our way in.”
Tiger popped up from behind the car, holding her hand up behind the sky and squinting. “Wolf was supposed to be here three fingers ago,” she said, measuring how far the sun had moved with her fingers. Liv and Josh’s eyes bugged out of their heads and they pulled Tiger back down. “He’s never late!”
“Get down, get down!” They both hissed.
“Maybe he got lost.” Josh said in a hushed voice, looking over at Liv, who was digging through the bag and pulling out lipsticks and examining them.
“Resistance soldiers don’t ever get lost, we’re born trackers. He could sniff out a sludge grub in a blood bog 20 kilometers away.” Tiger said. She looked up at the sky as she had a realization. “It’s gotta be the Biotics.”
“There’s Biotics here?” Liv asked.
“Yeah, after all our dicking around in history, they probably put deep cover guards on Kronish at every point in his life.” Tiger sank lower onto the ground. “Shit…he has the TTD. They’re gonna be tracking that.” She muttered. Josh looked over at Liv and they gave each other worried looks. Tiger looked at both of them. “I gotta go find Wolf.”
“B-but Tiger, this is our only shot.” Josh protested.
“You planned this op, you two are going to pull it off without me.” Tiger said.
“But-“ Josh started.
“You've got this. I trust you two, you’ve come a long way.” Tiger said, digging through the lingerie. “Now put on these assless chaps.” She threw some leather pants at Josh and stood up. “Saddle up.” Liv couldn’t help but snicker at Josh’s horrified face.
“Tiger! Tiger, wait!” Josh called after her as she began to walk away.
“And stay focused!” She turned around and pointed to Josh. “Liv! You’re the Josh babysitter now! Make sure you don’t, I dunno, distract him!”
Liv looked confused and blushed. Josh’s face grew more horrified and turned bright red. “I don’t need a babysitter!”
Tiger didn’t respond. Josh awkwardly turned to Liv. “I guess we-“
“Come on,” Liv snatched the pants from his hands and stuffed them back into the shopping bag. They both stealthily snuck across the yard and to the window.
“I’ll give you a boost.” Josh whispered, propping himself up on one knee. He boosted Liv up to the window and she pulled herself up. She awkwardly crawled through and fell right onto the ground in what she assumed was Kronish’s bedroom.
“Okay, Josh, hold on one sec, I- Josh!” Josh came through the window and fell right onto her. “Ow!” She groaned as Josh crashed into her, laying right on top of her.
He quickly scrambled off of her. “Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!” His cheeks were burning a bright red. Liv’s whole face was hot and her body felt like it was on fire. “Did I hurt you?”
“I’m okay,” she said, scrambling to her feet. “I’ll-“ she tucked her hair behind her ear. “Um, I’ll go and make sure the coast is clear.” Liv dashed towards the door.
“Yeah, okay, I’ll um…yeah…” Josh started pulling everything out of the bag. Liv snuck out of the bedroom and into the hall. After a few seconds she tiptoed back in.
“House is empty.” She said in a low voice.
A nervous tingle flushed through Josh’s body as Liv walked up next to him and surveyed the lingerie options. He shifted his feet awkwardly. “Okay, so, uh…I guess without Tiger here we can just have you put some of this on and-“
“Woah there,” Liv stopped him, holding up a finger. “Tiger clearly picked you to replace her.” She said, a smug grin spreading across her face. “She threw those assless chaps at you.”
Josh’s face flushed even redder. “Liv-“
“We can make it look like you’re a woman.” Liv said confidently. “Remember? I’m a great photographer.” She walked over to a nightstand and grabbed a polaroid camera. “You’re gonna want a cameraman.”
Josh looked horrified. “No, Liv-“
“You don’t want to see me in any of this.” She laughed walking back over to Josh, camera in her hands. Josh paused for a moment. He glanced at the lingerie and back to Liv. Thinking of Liv in lingerie again made his heart stop and his head feel a little dizzy. “Come on.” Liv said, shoving his arm.
“Are you sure it would work?” Josh asked nervously.
“Put that lingerie on, Futturman. For the fate of the world.” Liv added, bumping his hip with hers.
Josh inhaled deeply and looked back at his many, many options. “Fate of the world.” He muttered. He looked at Liv and rolled his eyes (playfully). “Goddammit Liv.”
“Hey, Tiger’s the one who picked you.” Liv giggled, sitting on the bed.
“I am not wearing the assless chaps.” Josh said loudly.
“Good, I didn’t want you to.”
“You have to turn around, you can’t look.” Josh muttered as he started to sort through the lacy pieces of clothing.
Liv slapped his hand away. “Okay, I don’t trust you to pick out anything sexy here. You’re a boy. Let the touch of a woman help you out here.”
“You could have said man.” Josh pouted.
“Boy.” Liv repeated, picking up some fishnets. “Boy.” She picked up some leopard print panties and snickered evilly.
“At least pick something flattering.” Josh started unzipping his jumpsuit.
“Woah there, Mr. Eager!” Liv stopped him. “Clothes stay on for right now, no one wants to see that!” Josh thought about making a snarky remark about her liking him, but decided against it. He didn’t want to make her mad for real this time. Liv turned around with his first option, fish nets, a tiny little black corset, and the leopard print panties.
“This is the best photoshoot ever.” Liv said to him with a teasing smile. She was so looking forward to how stupid he would look. Josh huffed and took the lingerie from her hands.
“Turn around.”
“There’s a bathroom right there.”
Josh paused and looked into the bathroom. “Just…turn around…” he muttered again. Liv shrugged and turned to the wall.
“Okay, suit yourself.”
“What if I need help getting some of this on?” Josh finally admitted. Liv laughed.
“Then I will help you…depending on what you need help with.” When Josh was sure she couldn’t see, he quickly stripped everything off.
“This is crazy.” He muttered. “This is so, so, so, crazy.”
“Get dressed.” Liv snapped her fingers.
“How do girls wear stuff like this?” He complained, putting on the panties.
Liv leaned her forehead against the wall with her hands covering her eyes. “I dunno, I’ve never worn lingerie.”
Josh paused. “…really?”
“Putting on underwear,” Liv snapped her fingers again. “Feeling sexy and free.” She continued, loudly pep talking to him. Josh huffed and dropped the corset on the ground, picking up the stockings instead.
“How do I…?” He held up the fishnet stockings. “…Liv?”
“Oh God, don’t tell me you need help.”
“Help.” Nothing. “Please?”
Liv hesitated, but turned around and saw the sight in front of her. This was the absolute most she’d ever seen of Josh. She burst out laughing.
“Liv!” Josh whined and held up the fishnets.
“Oh so what? You don’t know how to put on tights?” Liv made her way over to him. Josh’s heart lurched and he got a tingly feeling in the pit of his stomach.
“There’s…a lot of holes…”
She pointed at the stockings. “Put them on like you would put on socks.” As Josh figured out how to put on the fishnets, Liv excitedly went through some of the other things on the bed. “Put these shoes on, your mom told me you could walk in heels.” Josh looked up from adjusting the stocking on his thighs to see Liv holding some chunky heels.
“My mom told you what?”
The heels made Josh about four inches taller than Liv (which was a first, they were the same height). She stood in front of him, putting a layered pearl choker around his neck. Josh’s heart was racing quicker than normal as he felt Liv’s fingers brushing against his neck.
“Looking gorgeous.” Liv teased, twisting the choker around so the clasp was in the back.
“Yeah,” Josh scoffed. “You’re probably loving this.” As soon as he said it he froze. Liv took a step away and gave him a stern look.
“What.”
Josh’s eyes widened. “I just meant- ‘cause- you know? I look like an idiot right now.” He said quickly.
Liv narrowed her eyes at him, studying him, but visibly relaxing. “You’re a very beautiful woman, Josh.” Josh let out a chuckle, feeling his shoulders relax. “This is the best you’ve ever looked.” She teased.
“Oh I bet.” Josh said, picking up the corset again.
“Actually wait,” Liv picked up a lacy little shawl. “Try this instead.” She helped Josh put it on and took a step back to admire her work (and admire her work). “Amazing!” She sang. She picked the camera off of the bed. “Now pose.”
“What do I do?” He asked as she held up the camera to her eye.
“Be sexy.” Liv said.
“Easier said than done,” he muttered.
“Just…pop your knee and put your hands on your hips like this.” Liv demonstrated for him. Josh awkwardly copied. “Okay,” Liv snapped a picture and waited for the picture to develop. Josh wandered over next to her and watched as the photo slowly developed.
“Is that a good one?” Josh asked as Liv took the picture and studied it.
“We’ll figure out once it develops!” She shooed him away. “Go back over there and pose again, I’ll get a couple angles.”
As Liv snapped more pictures, Josh became more comfortable and giddy. Liv made him put on a couple more outfits, including the silky pink robe from earlier with a boa around his neck, a little leopard print number with feather trim and a spiked choker, red fishnets and lacy red shorts, and several others. He’d even attempted a bit of liner on his eyes (which ended up a faded, smudged mess in three seconds anyways. Liv also reminded him his face wouldn’t be in the pictures after he’d decided to do that). He’d caught Liv staring and her eyes lingering on him several times, and every time a surge of tingly nerves shot through him. He was never nervous around Liv. He decided to chalk it all up to the fact he was so exposed and definitely not because he liked the feeling of her fingers lightly brushing his skin as she adjusted his jewelry and his corsets. That was for sure.
Liv was turned around with her face pressed into her hands as he changed again. It looked like a sexy, lingerie tornado had hit the room. The one problem Josh found with putting on the panties was the fact his dick was enormous now.
“Ow!” He yelped, trying to shove everything into place.
“You good?” Liv asked, starting to turn around.
“Don’t turn around!” Josh yelped.
“Okay, okay!” Liv turned back to the wall. Josh did a little hop as he adjusted the underwear. Putting on a blue robe with feathers on the trim, he did a little spin for himself in the mirror, humming to himself. “You can look now.”
Liv turned around and couldn’t suppress a smile as she watched him check himself out in the mirror (she shyly did too). She walked over to him, picking up different chokers from off the bed and holding them up to Josh’s neck, seeing which one she liked best. She was humming too.
“What song are you humming?” Josh asked.
“What song are you humming?” Liv asked as she picked the spiked choker.
“‘Love Shack’.” Josh said, then tensed up, wondering if that sounded weird.
“Ah, the whole shack shimmy.” Liv quoted the song as she clasped the choker and pushed it around. “I was humming ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’.” She said. “By Tiffany.” She added.
Josh gulped as Liv’s fingers brushed down his neck. “That- that is such a good song.” Josh said, red all the way up to the tips of his ears. He was going insane, if Liv adjusted anything on his body one more time, he thought he might explode. At the same time, he liked when she was this close to him.
Liv shoved everything off the bed while Josh figured out how to lace up a corset himself, they were almost done. The last batch of photos they were going to do were ones of Josh laying on Kronish’s bed. Josh sat on the edge of the bed.
“Wait, stay right there.” Liv crouched in front of him, snapping a picture. She stood up and waited for the picture to develop. “Okay, let’s do a couple more and then we can put leave the pictures for Marigold to find.”
Josh sorted through the pictures they already had. “Too much dick…” he tossed a picture behind him. “Oh God, are my legs really that hairy? Nope.” He tossed another one. “Wolf’s dick is ruining most of these pictures.” He muttered, looking up and seeing Liv pretending the bedding was far more interesting than what Josh was saying, cheeks rosy. Josh pried his eyes away from Liv’s blushing face and back to the pictures, blushing himself. “We can sort through these after, let’s take some more pictures.”
Liv stood on the bed with Josh laying in between her legs as the two of them giggled and took more raunchy pictures. “I’m trying to only get pictures without your face.” Liv giggled as Josh made a face at the camera.
“Oh what? Am I too beautiful for the pictures?” Josh asked teasingly.
“If that’s what helps you sleep at night.” Liv giggled. “Mkay, I think…these are good right?” Liv leaned down to show Josh, who was still laying on the bed, the pictures that were developed already. He sat up and looked through them.
“Yeah,” Josh muttered as he went through them. “Yeah!” He looked up at Liv, impressed with her work. “That’s a woman!” He joked.
“Here,” Liv clambered off the bed. “Start looking at the other ones and then put them in here.” She placed an envelope on the bed next to him. “I’ll clean this shit up.”
Josh scooted to the edge of the bed and sorted through the pictures, putting the best ones in there. “Oh Liv, we should seal this with a kiss for Marigold!” He said with a proud grin.
“Yeah, you should do that with the lipstick, put it to good use.” Liv laughed as she shoved the thick heels into the bag.
“Will you…help me put it on?” Josh asked sheepishly.
Liv playfully rolled her eyes and dropped the bag to the ground. “Oh so you can walk in heels but can’t put on lipstick?” She teased, digging out a tube of fire engine red lipstick. “You better hold still.” She knelt on this floor in front of him.
Josh didn’t know what to do with his mouth, Liv put a hand on his cheek to hold his face in place. Josh saw the look in Liv’s eyes as she realized how close their faces were, he probably had the same look in his eyes too.
“Open- open your mouth a little bit.” Liv stammered, blinking a few times. Josh did so and she started to run the lipstick over his lips.
“This good?” Josh asked, rubbing his lips together.
“Uh…” Liv didn’t move away after she finished applying the lipstick to Josh’s lips. Josh didn’t move away either. They both looked at each other, faces just inches apart.
Kiss her. KISS HER! His brain screamed. His eyes darted between her lips and her eyes. It felt like they sat there for eternity, when in reality it was more of an awkwardly silent three seconds. “Do I…do I have something on my face?” Josh asked awkwardly, not knowing what to do. Liv looked like she wanted to move away, but was entranced. Josh’s face was on fire all the way up to his ears. The sexual tension between them was so thick, Josh could slice it open with a knife.
“Sorry…I…” Liv trailed off. She didn’t know what to say. Josh could feel Liv’s shallow breaths against his face. As their noses brushed, Josh’s heart jumped into his throat. He’d never realized how much he wanted to kiss her until right in this moment. His heart was hammering in his chest. Oh God. He liked her. A lot.
Liv’s brain was glitching. “Josh?” She breathed out, still not moving away.
“Liv…I…” Josh whispered. He glanced into her eyes. He’d always thought Liv was beautiful, but right now in this moment, she was everything. She’d always meant so much to him and he’d always thought it was platonic…but the way he could feel her breath on his lips and the way her eyes looked longingly into his, he wanted to throw that all away. He wanted to kiss her so badly. His eyes dropped back down to her lips.
Liv wasn’t thinking about every reason she’d ever shoved down her feelings for Josh, she wasn’t thinking about what would happen after they kissed, if they did. She was thinking about Josh, sitting in front of her with lingerie on and smudged makeup and how she thought he was gorgeous. Her heart was palpitating.
“Liv, can I…kiss you?” Josh breathed out. He moved in, just centimeters closer, aching to close the gap between them. Liv gave a small nod and reciprocated. The tube of lipstick fell from her hand as they both slowly and nervously moved in. His hands gently set themselves on her waist. Their lips shyly brushed against each other.
“My husband is coming home in a few hours…so we don’t have much time…uh huh…” They heard from down the hall. Liv and Josh pulled away with wide, panicked eyes. Marigold had come home and neither of them had heard. “Yes, come over now!” They heard her say. Josh and Liv scrambled to their feet. Liv had a light smear of fire engine red across her lips. Josh sassily threw the feather boa he was wearing over his shoulder as he quickly tiptoed over to the door, quietly opening it just a sliver and peeking out.
“She is having an affair, she’s on the phone with someone.” He whispered loudly to Liv as she feverishly cleaned up the last of their mess and shoved it into the bag. “This is even better than my plan.”
“I’m going out to get some champagne and run some errands so just let yourself in. Wear something sexy.” Josh could hear the smile in Marigold’s voice. He watched Marigold excitedly prance over to the front door, and slipped out of the room.
“Josh!” He heard Liv hiss. He tiptoed down the hall to see if she’d left, when she appeared for a second, back turned to him, to grab something she almost forgot. Josh froze mid step, balancing on one leg as she almost turned around and saw him, but instead just walked out the door.
“Josh!” Liv hissed from behind him. “What are you doing?”
“Meddling.” He hissed back, trying to stealthily sneak into the kitchen, despite the loud clomping of his feathery kitten heels he was still wearing. Liv followed him into the kitchen. While Josh was clearly in meddling mode, she couldn’t get the fact that they had essentially kissed about 2 minutes ago out of her head.
“What’s your plan here?” Liv asked in a hushed voice. Josh picked up the phone that Marigold was talking on earlier.
“I’m calling Kronish’s job,” He said. “To see when he’s coming home.” He opened the phone book next to the phone and pointed to a number that was circled. “Bingo bango.” He muttered. Liv stood close behind him, her chest almost touching his back as she tried to see.
Josh looked over his shoulder at her and glanced down at her lips. “Oh…you’ve got…”
“Oh, your lipstick’s kinda…” Josh’s lipstick had gotten smudged and Liv was wearing a little of it.
Josh looked back at the phone, giddiness bubbling inside of him as he thought about what had almost happened a second earlier. “So…”
“Not the time Josh, dial the number.” Liv was trying to play it cool, but her heart was hammering out of her chest and she felt like she might explode with excitement. What would have happened had they not been interrupted? She was dying to know. Josh dialed the lab Kronish worked at.
“Hello, yes, hi,” Josh started. “I’m calling for Dr. Kronish, there’s something important he needs to come home for…oh he’s already on his way home? Oh, he’s sick.” Josh began pacing in front of the kitchen counter, shooting Liv a thumbs up. “That’s wonderful news, thank you.” He hung up the phone. He sassily leaned against the counter.
“Piece of cake. Ooh! Cake!” A cake (presumably a birthday cake for Kronish), sat in front of both of them on the counter. Josh swiped his finger across it, gathering some frosting with his finger, and sticking it in his mouth. “Mm, Liv, try this frosting.”
Liv was distracted, squinting out of the window at a man walking up to the house. “Is he coming here-? That’s him! That’s Marigold’s lover!” She excitedly hit Josh’s arm. Josh’s face broke into a mischievous grin.
“Oh shit, did you leave the bag in the room?” He asked.
“Fuck!” Liv cursed under her breath. Liv and Josh hurriedly dashed back down the hall and into Kronish’s bedroom, finding the bag had fallen off the bed and to the floor. Liv scooped up all the items that had fallen out and haphazardly shoved them back into the bag. Josh bumped into the table and almost knocked a heavy, Easter Island head off of it. They heard the man open and close the front door. They exchanged panicked looks. Josh frantically (but quietly) put the statue on the other side table as he grabbed Liv and pulled her into the closet with him, the man’s steps growing closer and closer to the bedroom door.
Just as Josh slid the closet door closed Liv came to the realization that this closet was tiny. Josh had his body pressed against hers, and Liv’s back was pressed against the wall. Her heart was pounding, both from the adrenaline and the closeness. The man’s shadow moved past the closet and Josh held his finger to his lips as he watched like a hawk. They heard the sound of him walking into the bathroom and undoing his belt. Josh poked his head out to see if the coast was clear. He looked at Liv and signaled for her to follow. The two of them tiptoed out the closet, to the door, and backed down the hall, making sure the man didn’t walk out and see them. Josh turned around just as the front door opened. Kronish. He almost made a noise, but quickly caught himself, grabbing Liv, who was still backing down the hall, by the shoulders and pushing her back into the bedroom.
“Under the bed, go under the bed.” He whispered frantically in her ear, praying the man wouldn’t see them. They snuck back into the room just as the man flushed the toilet, Liv immediately dropped and rolled under the bed and Josh followed her. Both of their eyes were wide as saucers as they tried to catch their breath quietly. They could see the man’s shoes as he walked out of the bathroom. Kronish entered. Josh grabbed Liv’s hand as she grabbed his shoulder excitedly. “It’s happening!” He mouthed to her. Kronish was about to face Marigold’s secret lover.
“Elias?” The man asked.
“…what are you doing here?” Kronish said in a low voice. Liv and Josh were shaking each other, the plan was working! There was a few brief moments where they didn’t hear anything as Kronish slowly approached the man. Liv stopped shaking Josh’s shoulder, they both looked confused. They heard kissing noises. Liv’s eyes went wider. Josh grabbed Liv’s shoulder and looked at her in shock. Clothes started falling to the floor in front of them. Liv slapped her hand over her mouth to keep from gasping out loud.
“Leslie…” they both heard Kronish mumble. Their jaws hit the ground. Leslie. This was Leslie. “…Leslie I’ve missed you…” Kronish said breathlessly as the bed creaked under their weight as they got on. Liv and Josh looked at each other.
“This…this is complicated.” Josh whispered.
Kronish and Leslie went at it for 2 hours. 2 hours of Liv and Josh under the bed listening to their ruckus and the bed rocking above their heads. Liv had somehow dozed off with her head propped up with her hand next to him, the squeaking and loud moaning above them becoming white noise to her. Josh laid his chin on his arms, his eyes were also starting to grow heavy. The two of them hadn’t gotten a good night’s sleep in days (or years, if you counted all the time traveling). Josh couldn’t stop thinking about how he’d kissed Liv. Quickly, but they’d kissed.
Her head slipped from her hand and gently onto his shoulder. Josh tensed at first, worried she would wake up and move away, but after a few seconds relaxed as he realized she was out. He slowly and gently laid his head on hers, taking in a deep breath and letting himself relax for the first time in a while. Despite the erotic scene above them, the two of them shared a wholesome moment. For a blissful moment, there were no Biotics, they weren’t in the 80s, and there weren’t two people having very loud and passionate sex above them. There was just Josh Futturman and Liv Branson. Josh reflected on their friendship.
He’d met Liv on his first day at Kronish Labs three years prior; she'd only been there a month longer than him. He remembered how they immediately hit it off, teasing each other and cracking jokes the whole day as she showed him around. That day he had gone home and excitedly told his parents about his new friend. He remembered his mom begging him to invite her to their big Futturman Super Bowl party and how nervous he’d been to ask her. The way her face lit up as he asked and the way she enthusiastically agreed to be there was something he had never forgotten. That was the first time Gabe and Diane had met Liv, and they instantly fell in love with her and she attended every party they had thrown after that. In the beginning, Diane was always asking Josh if he liked her. Josh remembered blushing and denying it, saying he liked Jeri. He had liked Jeri, but it was becoming more and more obvious that he also had liked Liv.
He remembered the time a scientist had hit on Liv and asked her on a date, and how he couldn’t go to sleep until Liv called him to tell him all about how it went. He remembered secretly hoping that the date would go badly so Liv didn’t go out with him again. The two of them had stayed up until early the next morning talking about it, laughing at how awkward it had been. He’d been jealous. His heart immediately sank for Liv, who for three years had to hear about his more obvious crush on Jeri. He felt so bad. Liv was always a constant for him while Jeri hadn’t shown any interest until he got wrapped up in the grand scheme of the Resistance. Liv had been his world for three years.
His eyes had fluttered shut as he pondered, not noticing that Liv had rested her hand on his elbow as she slept. The little white cat from earlier snuck under the bed, meowing. Josh’s eyes flew open. Liv inhaled deeply and lifted her head groggily. The cat eyed them curiously, meowing quietly. Liv seemed to slowly be processing where she was, looking confused at first and then remembering everything.
“Shh!” Josh quietly shushed the cat. “Go away!” He reached over Liv and gave the cat a little push. The bed started shaking harder, knocking a book off of the bedside table to their right. Josh gave the cat another small push. “Not right now, go away.” He whispered. The cat walked out from under the bed. Liv and Josh saw the Easter Island statue from earlier go crashing to the ground as the bed rocked violently. It fell onto the poor cat. Killing it.
Liv and Josh couldn’t hold back their gasps of horror, which were thankfully drowned out by the noise Kronish and Leslie were making. Liv scooted over, poking the cat.
“Is it okay?!” Josh whispered.
“Oh my God, the cat is dead.” Liv whispered, starting to well up with tears. Josh remembered another memory about Liv: the time Liv cried on their lunch break the first time she saw a bin of dead possums at work. She didn’t like when animals were in peril. She tearfully pulled the cat back under the bed. “Poor baby…” she whispered.
Josh pressed his ear to the cat, wanting to hear if he could make out a heartbeat. He couldn’t. “It’s dead…”
Kronish and Leslie moaned loudly, seeming to be wrapping things up. Josh’s ears perked up and he looked up hopefully. “Finally.” He breathed out. Liv wiped her tears.
“And now…your turn…” Kronish said to Leslie. The bed began to rock again.
“Are you kidding me?” Josh whispered through gritted teeth. Liv’s forehead hit the ground as she gave a heavy sigh.
30 more minutes of Josh and Liv under the bed listening to Kronish and Leslie have sex went by. Liv slowly stopped crying (Josh had put his arm around her and pulled her in close to him as she mourned the loss of the cat they’d just met). Finally, the bed stopped rocking and the moaning died down, dissolving into content laughter. Josh and Liv glanced up at the bed hopefully.
“Leslie, can I ask you a very serious question?” Kronish asked, his laughter dying down. “Were you…meowing?”
Leslie chuckled. “I thought that was you meowing!” Liv and Josh tensed up, both looking at the dead cat.
“Oh, must’ve been my neighbor's cat, always coming through that window.” Kronish laughed.
“Well, I can’t blame him, I can’t stay away from you either.” Leslie said flirtatiously.
“Well, good, I wouldn’t want you to.” Kronish responded smoothly. “…Ever since 8th grade, I knew who I really was. But…I was just too afraid to act on it. But then I met you.”
Josh looked at Liv with a small smile. They both looked up as if they were grinning at Kronish.
“And you know what? Holding each other?” Kronish continued. “That’s the best part.”
Josh still had his arm around Liv. He rubbed her arm, she looked at him with a small, sappy smile.
There were a few moments of silence above them. “So, how did Marigold take the news?” Leslie asked.
“Well…”
“You haven’t told her?”
Josh and Liv’s faces fell. Poor Kronish.
“…I-I’m going to, I’m packed and everything. This is the hardest part! I-I’m thinking about Dear John-ing it.” Kronish said defensively.
“No, no, no!” Leslie interrupted. Liv and Josh frantically shook their heads in disagreement with Kronish. “You have to tell it to her face! You owe her that much.” Josh and Liv nodded in agreement with Leslie.
“Elias? Are you home?” Marigold was finally back.
“Marigold!” Kronish hissed.
“Shit!” Leslie scrambled off the bed.
“Hey honey!” Kronish yelled for Marigold to hear. Liv and Josh perked up, getting ready to dart out from under the bed and make their escape as soon as Kronish and Leslie were gone.
“Are you having doubts?” Leslie asked. “Tell her.”
“I just came home early!” Kronish continued to call out to his wife, fixing the sheets.
“I wanna hear it.” Leslie kept going. “I’ll be here for moral support, I’ll hide underneath the bed!” Liv and Josh looked at each other, panicked. “I’ll even hide in the closet!”
“That’s ridiculous, go out the window.” Kronish begged.
“Then I’ll see you at the marina tonight?” Leslie bent over, picking up his pants and shirt. Liv scooted back out of fear he might see them. Josh stayed, wide eyed.
“Of course.” Kronish sighed. They heard Kronish open the door just as the rustling of the blinds signaled that Leslie had climbed out the window. Liv crawled out from under the bed, trying to keep the rustling of the lingerie bag quiet. Josh rolled out holding the cat, he carefully tucked it into the bag, Liv looking away so she didn’t get sad. They tiptoed down the hall, hearing Marigold talking to the Kronish.
“What are you doing home?” She asked suspiciously.
“The truth is Marigold, I…uh…” Josh stopped right where the hallway wall ended. Liv came up right behind Josh, listening intently. “I…decided to come home early and give myself a birthday treat…” Liv and Josh nodded along, hoping he would tell Marigold the truth. “…and curl up with that mystery novel I’ve been reading.” He lied. Josh shook his head and Liv deflated.
“Why are you so sweaty?” Marigold asked. Josh turned to Liv with a disappointed look.
“That’s just from my heart racing, I’ve been trying to figure out ‘who done it’.” Kronish lied again.
“Okay, well, I have a surprise for you.” Marigold said excitedly. Josh and Liv pressed themselves against the wall again, trying to listen. “You are going to get back there,” Liv and Josh shoved themselves off of the wall, realizing Kronish was about to make his way back to his room. “And you are going to run me the hottest, nicest bath you can think of, mkay?” Josh grabbed Liv and they sprinted back down the hall as quietly as they could back into Kronish’s room. They froze as they got to the doorway, Leslie was climbing back in. Liv grabbed Josh’s hand and pulled him into a closet at the end of the hall.
“…’cause my hip hurts, but Mama’s feeling fancy.” Marigold called to Kronish. “Mkay, baby?” Josh could make out Kronish’s figure making its way down the hall through the slots in the door, they could hear him sigh.
“Josh,” Liv whispered from behind Josh. “You're stepping on my foot.”
“Sorry, Liv!”
The doorbell rang. Josh looked back out of the slots and Liv peeked over his shoulder. Marigold excitedly went to answer the door.
“Oh, you’re here!” She said in a hushed tone. “I’m freaking out! My husband came home early.”
“Marigold’s lover…” Josh breathed out. Tiger walked through the door.
“What?!” They both gasped.
“I am Glenn Close.” She said in an uneven voice. She stumbled as she began to walk down the hall. Marigold grabbed her and directed her in a different direction.
“Is she drunk?!” Josh shook his head.
“Your husband is attracted to me. Fatally.” Tiger sure sounded drunk.
“Where the fuck did she go?!” Liv asked quietly. As soon as Marigold followed after Tiger, Josh threw open the closet door, looking both ways before bolting into the room to the right of the closet. Liv stood for a moment, unsure of what to do. She heard Kronish’s footsteps coming out of his room and she dove after Josh into the study. Kronish’s footsteps were headed towards the exact room they were in.
Josh looked at Liv and hurriedly beckoned for her to follow him into the walk in closet. Just as they were about duck behind a dresser, Liv’s foot got caught on the rug on the ground. She tripped, falling right into Josh, shoving his back into the wall, faces almost smashing together. He caught her and they looked at each other with wide eyes, realizing that sound was loud. Thankfully, Kronish was too busy shoving things around on the desk in the main room, rustling through the mess on the desk.
“Where did I put that passport?” He mumbled to himself over and over.
“Are you okay?” Josh mouthed to Liv. She nodded slowly, still scared that at any moment Kronish might come and investigate what he might have heard. Josh and Liv stood behind the tall dresser, pressed together with arms around each other, looking at each other with panicked eyes. They were not good at the whole sneaking around thing.
“…So you might have to roll it up and cram it in there.” The sound of Marigold opening the study door was heard. They heard Kronish make a sound and duck out of the room.
Some sweaters that Kronish must have frantically thrown in his panic to run out landed on Josh’s head. Liv helped Josh pull the sweater off, getting his lipstick all over one of them that was a salmon color. Liv poked her head out to make sure no one was there. She grabbed Josh by the corset and pulled him out from behind the dresser, the two of them making a mad dash for the door that led to the dining room.
“Tiger!” Josh yelled in a hushed voice.
“Tiger!” Liv copied. Josh backed straight into a sculpture, almost knocking it from its stand. He quickly caught it and tried to rebalance it.
“Tiger?” Josh called out quietly again. Josh and Liv rounded the corner, heads swiveling back and forth to make sure they didn’t get caught. The front door swung open, scaring both of them. A pretty woman confidently walked through the door, hips swinging as she walked in.
“A Biotic!” Liv yelled. Josh froze for a moment and panicked. The woman turned and looked at them, raising an eyebrow.
Josh frantically pulled his phone from inside his corset. “This is a detonator!” He threatened, holding it as if it were dangerous.
“Really?” The woman rolled her eyes. “That’s what we’re doing?”
“Uh uh! Don’t move!” Liv pointed to Josh’s phone, backing away slightly as she approached them.
“You take another step, I press this button, this whole house is wired, it blows up, we all die, and your mission’s a failure.” Josh threatened. The woman rolled her eyes again. “You wanna test me, you wanna fucking test me? We’ll all die right here, right now, I’m loco!” Josh said, eyes wide like a mad man. Liv nodded along, eyes never leaving the Biotic woman as she stepped closer.
“Okay, you’re in charge. I guess I’m your hostage now or whatever…wait, I didn’t hear anything about there being two of you?” She looked annoyed.
“Yeah? Well, there are two of us.” Liv said, trying to sound brave and menacing. “And you are our hostage…?”
“I suppose you wanna, tie me up or something?” The woman was distracted, looking around the house like she was bored.
Josh was still holding out his phone like a weapon. “Yeah, uh, that’s actually a good idea.” He looked over at Liv.
“Go, go over to the right, go.” Liv shooed her over to the study. She lazily walked over to the study, Josh and Liv following her, Josh still acting like his phone was a bomb.
“Don’t do anything stupid.” He said. They made her sit in a rolling chair in the study as she dropped her bag on the ground. Liv went through the bag and pulled out fluffy handcuffs, ones with red feathers and ones with pink.
“Oh,” the woman drawled. “Those’ll cost you. It’ll also cost you more because there are two of you.”
“You can drop the prostitute act okay? We know who you really are.” Liv threw Josh the red handcuffs.
“Don’t threaten us, okay? This isn’t our first time.” Josh cuffed her to the chair.
“Okay, yeah, I forgot, you’re in complete control.” The woman said condescendingly.
“You have to stay.” Liv pointed sternly at her.
“Okay. I can’t really go anywhere.” The woman looked Liv up and down judgmentally.
“Whatever, perf.” Liv shot back as her and Josh slipped out of the room and back into the dining room.
“Degrading is also ex-“ they shut the door on her.
“Tiger!” Josh hissed loudly. “There’s a Biotic here!”
“Where the fuck did she go?” Liv whispered. Unbeknownst to them, Tiger had left to go catch up with Wolf. Again.
“Tiger!” Josh kept whispering. “Tiger? We need you-“
“Leslie? Is that you?” Kronish whispered from down the hall. Josh and Liv froze. “I told you to go out the window!” Josh looked at Liv with wide eyes. She looked to the counter and tossed the bag over it, hoisting herself up and dropping down behind it. Josh quickly ran around the counter to find Liv shoving things that had fallen out back into the bag. The dead cat was sprawled out on the floor. He scooped up the cat and the two of them hurried into the kitchen. “Marigold is in the bath,” Kronish was getting closer. “You can come out!”
Josh looked for a spot to hide the cat, putting it in a pot that was set out on the stove and shutting the lid. He looked over his shoulder, Liv was gone. He saw her hand pop out from behind the counter, beckoning for him to come hide with her. Josh turned and was jumpscared by Elias Kronish rounding the corner. They both jumped back in shock.
“Oh, good Lord!” Kronish cried out in shock seeing Josh standing in the kitchen. Josh’s immediate reaction was to cover himself up, afterall, he was still in lingerie. Kronish’s eyes did a sweep of Josh in his fluffy black kitten heels, black fishnet stockings, leopard print panties, lacy black corset, feathery black boa and spiked choker, and messy eyeliner and lipstick. He looked concerned and frightened all at once.
“…Happy birthday…” Josh said in a small voice, hands over her crotch and chest as if he had anything to cover up. His mouth twitched as he tried to muster up a smile.
The look in Kronish’s eyes changed as he assessed the situation. “…Oh my God,” he whispered in a strangled voice. “You’re my birthday surprise?” Josh stared at him blankly, wondering if he should just go with it. “She knows…” Kronish whispered, bringing his hand up to cover his mouth.
“She- she knows?” Josh asked.
“You’re a gigolo aren’t you?” Kronish asked. Josh’s ears pricked up as he heard a light breathy laugh come from behind the counter. He looked down at himself. He really did look like a male prostitute.
“Yes…” Josh moved his hands to his hips and nodded.
“Marigold clearly doesn’t know what kind of men I find attractive.” Kronish looked Josh up and down again. Josh looked slightly offended. “But I can’t believe she was willing to hire a prostitute.” Kronish was shocked beyond belief.
At the same time it hit Josh and Liv that the “Biotic” was just a prostitute. “Oh…the Biotic’s a prostitute…” Josh whispered to himself. He heard the faint sound of Liv slapping her forehead and her head hitting the back of the counter. Josh covered it up by clearing his throat.
“If she’s willing to make this kind of accommodation…maybe this marriage will work after all.” Kronish said to himself.
“What? No! No, no! You have to leave her!” Josh said frantically.
“I don’t remember asking you.” Kronish cocked an eyebrow at Josh.
“Look, truth is I’ve been gigoloing- gigolo- gigoing- fucking dudes for money for a while now.” Josh said. “This is not the first time a wife has hired me to save her marriage, and trust me, it never works. Never.”
“Yeah? Well, maybe that’s on you.” Kronish looked Josh up and down again.
“Nuh uh,” Josh pointed down to his crotch. “You see this? I’m the fucking best, okay?”
Behind the counter, Liv was pulling at her face, trying to resist the urge to jump in. She couldn’t take it.
“Listen to me, you are in love with someone else.” Josh said gently. Kronish’s stance softened. “Someone who you have crazy, passionate, vibrant sex with for very long periods of time.” Kronish slowly nodded, looking at the ground. “But, most importantly, you found someone who you truly love to hold. Someone who sees you for who you really are…” Josh sent a quick glance over his shoulder to where Liv was hiding.
Behind the counter, Liv was listening intently, with her knees pulled in close to her chest, looking up as if she could see Josh. She could hear the tenderness in his voice. Her face broke into a sweet smile.
“This marriage that you’re in, it’s an anchor. It’s holding you down. You need to set sail.” Josh moved his hands in a wide motion, gesturing towards the horizon. Kronish looked confused about how Josh could possibly know that. “Metaphorically speaking.” He added at the end.
“Damn, you are one perceptive hooker.” Kronish said quietly.
“The best.” Josh reminded him.
“But you know what? You’re right.”
“I’m right?”
“Yes, I should set sail.”
“Absolutely!”
“I can do this!”
“You can!”
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome!”
“What do I owe you?” Kronish reached for his wallet.
“Uh, fifty bucks?” Josh shrugged.
“Take sixty.” Kronish gave him that signature warm smile as he handed Josh the money. “You earned it.” He kept his hand out for Josh to shake.
“Thank you very much!” Josh returned the smile.
“Set sail.” Kronish muttered as he walked away.
“Set sail!” Josh repeated enthusiastically.
Liv popped up from behind the counter with a proud smile on her face. “Good job gigolo!”
“Not funny, Liv. We have to let that prostitute go.” He said in a hushed voice. They heard a knock on the door and froze.
“Hurry, just get to the study.” Liv hissed. Liv and Josh tiptoed into the dining room again, looking around as they heard Kronish talking to whoever was at the door. They darted across the dining room and burst into the study.
“We have to get you out of here!” Josh said to the woman frantically.
The woman was watching something on TV and laughing. She stopped when she saw them. “Oh, you’re back. Are you the good guys now?”
“We’re trying to be.” Josh said as Liv fished the handcuff keys from her pocket. “If the wrong person sees you right now it’s gonna undo a whole lot of progress I just made.” The cuffs fell to the ground as they uncuffed her.
“Uh, ‘kay, so, I’m not going anywhere until I get paid.” She said snobbily.
“I got sixty bucks?” Josh held out the money Kronish had given him.
“Sixty bucks? This isn’t a rest stop glory hole. Sixty bucks doesn’t cover the roleplay, cuffing, degrading, and this weird ass threesome.” She rolled her eyes. Josh and Liv eyed each other. “I’m calling Big Lou.”
“No, no, no! Please don’t call Big Lou!” Liv shook her head.
“The last thing we need is to add more people to this right now!” Josh waved his hands. “We’ll get you more money!”
“I’ll take a TaB too.” She said as Josh and Liv went to the door.
“The fuck’s a TaB?” Josh whispered to Liv as he shut the door.
“How do we get her more money?” Liv whispered.
Josh thought for a moment. “Find Marigold’s wallet.”
“Josh!”
“She’s a bitch! I don’t mind stealing from her!”
“…fine.” Liv pursed her lips. They tiptoed back into the dining room, hearing Kronish laugh awkwardly at someone in the living room.
“That’s great, well, if you’ll excuse me, I need to talk to my wife.” Kronish said.
“Alright, but you’ll call me, right Elias?” The visitor asked.
“Yes, I’ll have Marigold call you, alright, bye bye now.”
Josh and Liv heard the front door close. Liv turned to Josh and nodded, ready to sneak into the living room to go snoop through Marigold’s purse. The door opened and closed again, and they heard someone muttering to themself. Josh and Liv stayed still, eyes wide, as a burly, scary looking man came walking past them, back turned to them.
“Fuck! Big Lou!” Josh crouched behind a stool as Liv stayed behind the wall. He went searching in the study. Liv and Josh bolted into the living room and found Marigold’s purse sitting on the coffee table. Liv picked it up and rifled through it.
“Got it!” She pulled out the wallet. A loud commotion came from the kitchen. Liv dropped the purse and they went running into the kitchen to see Big Lou had shoved Leslie to the ground, smashing into the sculpture Josh had almost broken earlier. The pieces of the sculpture lay scattered around him.
“Big Lou! Big Lou!” Josh called out. “It’s okay! We have your money.” He held out Marigold’s wallet.
“Hey! That’s my money!” The prostitute peered around Big Lou.
“What the fuck is going on here?!” Marigold came storming into the dining room in a robe, clearly fresh out of the bath. Kronish rushed in after her.
“This asshole sucker punched me!” Big Lou pointed to Leslie.
“This filthy pimp abuses this woman!” Leslie pointed at Big Lou and then to the prostitute.
“He’s not my pimp?” The prostitute looked at Leslie as if he were stupid.
“I’m a history teacher!” “Big Lou” looked offended. He looked over at her. “You’re a prostitute?”
“No! He’s the prostitute!” Kronish pointed to Josh.
“Neither one is the prostitute!” Marigold shook her head.
“Well, I’m a prostitute.” The prostitute said.
“And you’re so much more than that!” Leslie said to her.
“Shut the fuck up, priest.” She rolled her eyes at Leslie.
“You’re a priest?” Liv gasped.
“Reverend.” Leslie looked confused down at Liv and Josh, who’s jaws were on the ground.
“I don’t care who any of you freaks are, I just want Bunny back!” “Big Lou” wailed, leaving to scour the house.
“Hold on just a second!” Marigold pointed to Josh and looked at Kronish. “You thought he was the prostitute?”
Kronish paused. “…yes…”
“I mean, look at him.” Liv chimed in. Josh shot her a dirty look.
“And who the fuck are you?!” Kronish asked.
Liv opened her mouth to answer, but closed it, not knowing what to say. Josh looked at her with wide eyes. “I…” she looked between everyone, all eyes were on her. “I photograph him…” she pointed to Josh. “I photograph him…gigoloing.” She choked out.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” Josh hissed through his teeth.
“You make gay porn?” Leslie looked disgusted at her. Liv shot him a judgemental look. Who was he to judge her?
“…yeah?” Leslie gave her a worried look.
“No, no!” Marigold turned the conversation back to Josh. “Why would I get you a male prostitute?” Kronish glanced at Josh and went back to Marigold.
“Yes Elias,” Leslie crossed his arms. “Why would she get you a male prostitute?” Everyone stared at Kronish expectantly.
“Uh, I thought…you wanted me to watch you have sex with him,” he gestured towards Josh. Josh let go of the bated breath he’d been holding. Leslie looked crushed. Liv took in a sharp breath and slowly shook her head. Marigold gave the three of them weird looks. She looked back at Kronish like he was insane. “I’ve shared with you my cuckolding fantasy haven’t I?” Kronish added.
“No.” Marigold said sharply. She scoffed. “Hm, I thought you were trying to tell me you were gay.”
Kronish let out an abnormally loud, forced laugh. “Oh, no, no. Just your old run-of-the-mill…” he trailed off seeing Leslie’s hurt look. “Cuck…”
Leslie nodded solemnly. “Obviously you two have a lot to talk about. I gotta go.” His eyes bore into Kronish. “My boat still leaves at midnight.” He saw himself out of the house.
“What boat?” Marigold asked rudely.
“I have no idea.” Kronish sighed.
“No! Don’t let him leave!” Josh interrupted. Kronish looked at Josh. “Come on! Be true to yourself!” He looked at Kronish, then Marigold, then to Liv. Liv furrowed her eyebrows. “He’s in love with someone else.” He blurted out.
“Seriously, who are these people?” Marigold shot Liv and Josh dirty looks.
“I have no idea. I have never met them before in my life.” Kronish clenched his jaw uncomfortably. Josh got a look on his face that Liv knew all too well. He was meddling again.
“Oh. Don’t you act like you don’t know exactly who I am, Elias.” Josh said, feigning dramatic heartbreak. He inched closer to Kronish, who backed away uncomfortably. “I will not let you treat me like some slut you can just bang a couple times and then throw in the garbage.”
“I don’t know what this man is talking about!” Kronish cried.
Josh looked back at Liv. She nodded for him to keep going. The prostitute stood slightly behind them, eating all of this drama up. “You thought that you could just come into my life and turn everything upside down and only think about yourself?” He was in Kronish’s face by this point. “You think that we can spend an entire weekend making love,” he looked back at Marigold when he said this, making sure she heard him correctly. She was shocked and horrified. Liv stood next to her, grinning from ear to ear with two thumbs up. “And then you think you can just ignore me?!” He turned back to Kronish. “You’ve got another thing coming, ‘cause you know what?” He turned to Liv, holding out his hand for the bag. Liv handed him the bag and he rummaged through it, pulling out the envelope with the pictures Liv took. He grabbed them and fanned them out so everyone could see. “I will not be ignored, Elias! Proof!” He showed the group. “Look what he made her take pictures of!” He gestured to Liv. “He roped her into this too!”
“What the fuck are these supposed to prove?” Marigold shouted.
“I’m calling the police!” Kronish threatened.
“Give me a 90 second head start?” The prostitute piped up. Josh turned to Liv with panicked eyes.
“Oh no, Bunny!” Someone cried. “Lord, no!” Everyone hurried to the kitchen, where the cat was found in the pot. “Big Lou” had been Kronish’s neighbor. “My Bunny’s dead!” He cried.
“The cat’s name is Bunny?” Liv asked.
Josh gave a small laugh. “If I’d have known that I would have hid it someplace else.” He elbowed Liv lightly, trying to crack a joke. Liv slapped Josh’s chest with the back of her hand as Kronish’s neighbor angrily turned to them. All eyes were on Josh and Liv. “Um…” he grabbed Liv’s hand. “We’ll…we’ll see ourselves out…” they turned and ran for the front door. Kronish followed them to the door.
“And you better stay away!” He screamed after them as they dashed down the driveway.
“Fuck free will! We should have done the gun thing!” Josh cried out as they ran down the street together.
Tiger had finally pinpointed where Wolf was. She’d tracked him all day, through the beach and park where she met an oracle on a bench who told her to let him be free from his ownership chain, and to Kronish’s house where a cunning wife oracle told her to tighten the ownership chain. Tiger knew exactly where Wolf would have ended up. Corey Hart’s concert. She approached the large crowd in front of the venue.
“Well,” she said as she spotted him right at the ticket booth. “If it isn’t the king of the public beach?”
“What took you so long?” Wolf asked, side-eyeing her. “Your tracking skills are slipping.”
“I consulted two oracles today.” Tiger said. “One said give you your freedom and you’ll come back to me. He was dumb and ate his own dog. The other said to rein you in with the illusion of freedom. She was impressive…but crazy.” Wolf looked at her, unphased. “And then I realized, your freedom isn’t mine to give or take. Neither one of us is gonna be free until we finish what we started.”
“You’re wrong.” Wolf said in a low, tired voice. “I’m free now.” Tiger furrowed her brows. Wolf looked her dead on. “Because I quit.”

Video
mick schumacher is interviewed ahead of qualifying, azerbaijan - april 28, 2023 (transcription below the cut)
Interviewer 1: "But Mick, welcome. Thanks for joining us. How are you doing?"
Mick: "I'm alright. How're you?"
Interviewer 1: "Yeah, very well, thank you."
Mick: "Awesome."
Interviewer: "We are all excited about this qualifying session that is to come. Do get in touch out there, as well, wherever you are watching, hashtag F1 live. We'll start with Mercedes Mick. That is where you are at the moment. James Allison coming in as Tech Director, coming back to that position; what impact are you expecting that to have?" Mick: "Well hopefully, yeah, a positive one. Obviously James has been part of the team for quite a while and has had some success here, so it's great to have him back." Interviewer 1: "It is, indeed." Interviewer 2: "Mick, you're properly embedded in the team at the minute and there was a real turnaround in form for Mercedes in Australia. Did you really feel that, and did it feel like, inside the team, you turned a corner?" Mick: "Well, I mean, it definitely was a very strong weekend for us and it's good to see that, and we'll have to wait and see how this one pans out but, yeah, hopefully we're on an upwards trend." Interviewer 3: "It's a very different weekend format this weekend, for all the drivers. Massive pressure on everybody; just one hour of practice and then straight into qualifying. You're a Formula 2 champion. We've got a couple of rookies in the field this year who are used to that similar kind of format in Formula 2: one practice straight into quali. Do you think this will suit the rookies?" Mick: "Well, I mean, yes and no. For me, it wasn't long, but I really appreciated the two extra free practices. On the other hand, I think it's a pretty cool format. You know, having two qualifying sessions, it's a lot of action, and yeah, I think that the sprint qualifying, a lot of people will go nuts out there, so we'll find out how it'll be tomorrow." Interviewer 1: "Mick, this track, the characteristics of it are so different. There's almost three distinct sections. It's almost impossible to nail a setup, isn't it, for it? How do you get the best out of the car around here?" Mick: "Well, I guess you have to sort your priorities; what is it that you wanna target? Is it the race, is it the qualifying, is it straights, is it corners, and I think every team will choose something different there and will play on their strength, and hopefully, yeah, we have played on ours." Interviewer 1: "One hour earlier on, but it was heavily interrupted and very limited data will be taken from that. We knew it would be limited anyway, and it's limited even still after the red flag, the yellow flags. What's the feeling in Mercedes, coming into qualifying?" Mick: "I think everybody's quite calm. Everybody's quite, well, concentrated on what they have to do, and I think everybody's, yeah, just excited to get going now." Interviewer 1: "And how much are you enjoying being part of Mercedes, as well? As Lawrence said, fully entrenched within this team. How much are you learning and getting from this and, indeed, feeding back, as well?" Mick: "Yeah, no, it's great, obviously. I'm able to join every meeting and it's been super helpful already. Obviously I want to be racing and driving-that's my aim and that's my goal-but I feel like it's definitely an add-on for me to be here to learn from the best, at the end." Interviewer 1: "Mercedes one of all teams, I think, bringing upgrades here. How does the upgrades, how does this car, suit the track here? As we said, it's kind of difficult to even nail a setup for one part of the track. It changes so much. That's part of its charm, I suppose, around here." Mick: "Yeah. I guess that, you know, it will really, hopefully, shine in the longer races and in the longer sessions. But yeah, it's hard to say, after one hour. The track obviously not cleaned up yet, so yeah, everything is going okay so far and we're just gonna try and understand it further." Interviewer 1: "We had cloud, mist, cooler temperatures this morning. It's now getting a lot hotter as the sun has burned some of that mist away. We're seeing a lot of wind. Of course, it is the city of winds. It's no surprise here in Baku. How does that effect things out on track; the wind and, certainly, the rising and cooling temperatures, as well?" Mick: "Yeah, well, it can catch out people and it can catch out drivers, so yeah, hopefully everybody will be able to get around all the corners just fine and nail the laps, and hopefully our drivers will be able to do that the best."

Y/N POV
I was laying with Sean in bed, cuddling and watching some tv. He was rubbing my back as I had some contractions. “Pff I can’t Sean, he’s awake.” The baby also started to kick. “I’m sorry, he’s just like his dad, a troublemaker.” I shook my head. “Can’t wait to give birth now, I don’t like this anymore.” Sean chuckles and traces my belly, feeling the baby kick. “Easy there, you’re hurting your mom.” He mumbled against my skin. I closed my eyes trying to relax. But failed when I heard the Ring bell went off. “What now.” Sean reached over to his phone and looks. “Shit.” He stumbles out of bed and grabs a white shirt. “What is it.” “You stay here.” He reached over to his nightstand and grabbed his handgun. “Sean?!” “Stay here!” He steps into his flip flops and walks away. I quickly grabbed his phone, opening the Ring security app and saw Sean striking directly to the guy that was sitting next to his car on the ground. He sees him and hold his gun up. ‘Oh my god Sean.’ I grabbed my phone and called 911, while watching Sean, threatening the guy…
As I was calling the guy walks away but Sean followed him and pushes him to the ground, aiming again his gun at him. “Oh my god…” I felt a big contraction in my belly. “is everything alright ma’am ?” “Yes, sorry I’m pregnant, and I’m starting to have contractions…” it was quiet on the other side of the phone call. “Do you need an ambulance?” “No, I’m fine. I not giving birth yet.” I saw on the Ring app the police arriving. “I see the police, thank you.” “No problem dear, have a good night.” “Thank you, you also, bye.” “Bye.” They ended the call. I stood up and waddled to the kitchen, grabbing a snack. A few moments later and Sean walks back into the house. “Are you okay baby?” He walks over and places his gun on the counter, wrapping his hand around my full pregnant belly. “Yes, he’s still awake, kicking and some contractions..” he places his head on my shoulder and carefully lifts my belly up, causing me to relax against his body. “That feels good right.” He kissed my shoulder as I nodded. “I’m going to make you a bath, you look like you needed darling.” He slowly lets my belly down. “Let’s get you to the bathroom.” He lets me go and grabs his gun. “Don’t point that thing at me Sean.” He quickly walks away to our bedroom. “Baby you know I would never do that to you.” I heard him placing the gun back in his nightstand. “Well I don’t know, you walked outside that quickly like you were waiting for this moment to happen.” I sat down on the toilet cover and undressed my self. Sean chuckles and runs the bath with water. “I was ready to shoot the fucker.” “I know I saw it on the Ring.” He kneels down in front of me, helping me to undress my joggers and socks. “I’m sorry if I scared you darling, but I was thinking about you.” He was placing softly a few kisses on my legs. “I will kill everyone to protect you and my child. So yes I was prepared and not scared to defence my property.” I went with my hand over his cheek. “But I need you Sean and you can’t protect me if you are in jail, so please don’t kill everybody.” He chuckles and stands up. “Don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine.” He grabs my hands and helps me to get in the warm bath. “Are you joining me.” “Of course I am.” He stripped down and hopped in as well, sitting behind me. His large hands tracing circles around my belly. I leaned back and smiled. “I can’t lie but you looked hot when you where threatening that guy.” I felt him smiling against my shoulder. “I knew it, you’re just like me baby, fucking crazy.”

“Y/N,” said your dad through your headphones as you walked down the sidewalk of campus. You rolled your eyes and he huffed. “Don’t roll your eyes at me.”
“How do you know I rolled-”
“Because I do, smartass. Now why exactly do you need an expensive dress?”
“Uh, it’s cute.”
“Y/N.”
“It’s really cute and mom said I could wear it to one of your like, Hollywood parties,” you said. “You know I need a dress.”
“Fine. How much is it?”
“A hundred dollars?” you said. He chuckled and you smiled as you walked. “Is that a yes?”
“We can handle a hundred. I thought you were gonna say it was a few thousand.”
“Are you nuts? I’m not you after all,” you said.
“Keep it up sassy. I look good in a fancy dress,” he said. You rolled your eyes, walking past a group of high schoolers on a campus tour. “How was class today?”
“Alright. I might go to a party tonight. It’s at Sara’s sorority,” you said. He was quiet on the other end and you swallowed. “Is that cool?”
“You’re twenty one sweetheart. You don’t need to ask permission let alone tell me.”
“I know,” you said. “Just don’t want you to worry if I don’t come home tonight.”
“Thanks,” he said softly. “Just do your homework before you get drunk with your friends.”
“I know dad. I’m headed to my car now. Gonna stop home quick to drop off my backpack and change.”
“Be safe. I gotta run and catch my flight,” he said.
“Can we get brunch tomorrow?”
“Yeah we can go get something. Have fun tonight.”
“I will. I’ll see you in the morning dad.”
It was close to midnight, the party still going strong when a shiver ran down your spine. You spun around the crowded living room, Sara catching your face from across the room.
“What’s wrong?” she said in your ear, pulling you into the kitchen where it was a bit quieter. “You have that look.”
“I don’t know. Just a weird feeling.”
“Did you drink?” she asked and you shook your head, holding up your bottle of water. “Eat anything?”
“No. Everybody ate the pizza. S’just a weird feeling,” you said, Sara forcing a smile. “I think I’m gonna head home.”
“Okay,” she said, giving you a quick hug. “Want me to walk with you to your car?”
“No I’m literally four houses down. I’m fine. Have fun okay? That tall blonde guy has been watching you all night. Have some fun with him for me?” you said. She rolled her eyes and you giggled. “Is he library guy?”
“Yeah. Parties aren’t really his thing,” she said, tucking her hair behind her ear.
“Yeah but he came,” you said, flashing her a wink before you were headed back to the living room, going up to the guy. “Hey you’re Kyle right?”
“Uh yeah. Sara’s friend?” he asked. You smiled and looked back at her.
“Yeah. So I think you should ask her out and go to lunch with her tomorrow. There’s this hole in the wall mexican place on the west side, Memi’s. It’s her favorite since we were kids. I highly suggest it,” you said, Sara hiding her face when you both looked back at her.
“I don’t know. Sara’s...she’s kinda...out of my league. Sorority girl and all.”
“Yeah. But you’re library guy and she really likes library guy. She’s less sorority girl than you think,” you said. “Just a thought.”
You gave Sara a wave before heading out and jogging down the front steps. You felt the shiver return and quickly pulled your keys from your pocket, skirting down to the sidewalk. It was fairly empty, a few people straggling and going past up to the party. You were a house away from your car when you heard a pair of footsteps behind you. You glanced over your shoulder, freezing when you caught the face in the street lamp.
He narrowed his eyes and started to move. You took off and unlocked your car but he was too close for you to get inside without him catching up. Instead you booked it across the street and ran up the sidewalk until you were near one of the frat houses, a guy walking up it with his back to you.
He glanced over his shoulder when he heard feet pounding pavement. He moved aside for you before turning and slamming into Jimmy, knocking him back to the ground. You tried to catch your breath, the guy pinning Jimmy to the ground, a few frat guys by the front of the house walking over.
“No. You’re not going anywhere,” said the guy as Jimmy tried to squirm free. “Ben! Call campus security! Tell ‘em some douchebag was trying to attack some girl.”
“Are you okay?” asked one of the guys, walking towards you. You stepped back, the guy pining Jimmy down, looking up and at you.
“Eric hang back. She’s scared,” he said. “You’re okay?”
You nodded, staring over at the group of guys. You rubbed your bare arms on the cool fall night, the guy kneeling down on Jimmy looking up at the frat house.
“Here,” he said, sitting up when another one came over to help hold Jimmy. He peeled off his flannel and held it out, a soft smile on his face. “It’s alright.”
You forced yourself to step closer to grab it, quickly backing up again and putting your arms through the sleeves. You wrapped it around yourself, flinching when Jimmy tried to break free again.
“Try that again and see what happens,” said the guy. You swallowed and heard a siren in the distance, the guy still smiling at you. “You’re safe. I promise.”
“Thank you,” you said half an hour later as Taylor walked you back to your car. “I really, really can’t begin to tell you how thankful I am.”
“You don’t have to thank me,” he said, stopping at your door.
“Y/N.”
“Well Y/N I’m sure if you were my size you’d have done the same thing for me,” he said, glancing at your car. “Sure you’re okay to drive home? I’ll wait with you if you want to call a friend to take you.”
“I’m about to have a very long night. Somebody else driving me home won’t make it any easier,” you said. He blinked and you looked down. “That wasn’t just a random guy. He um, he’s bothered me before. This isn’t over for me.”
“That’s why you were so scared of me and my friends.”
“It was really bad when he was in my life before. Really bad,” you said, wiping off your face with the sleeve of his flannel you still wore. You started to take it off and he shook his head with a smile.
“Keep it. My lucky flannel actually. Bad stuff doesn’t happen when you got that shirt on,” he said.
“I need several thousand of these then,” you said, sniffling some. He cocked his head, almost moving his hand but keeping it by his side. “I got to go home.”
“Our party is winding down. Do you want to hang out for a minute until you’re not so upset to drive?” he asked.
“I don’t think I should. I don’t have good luck with parties,” you said. He chuckled and nodded.
“Drive safe, Y/N,” he said. “I’ll see you around.”
You opened the door and paused, Taylor waiting on the other side for you to get in.
“You good?”
“This is the last good night of sleep my parents are going to have because of me. Again,” you said. You stared at him and swallowed. “I can’t go home.”
“I got a safe place you can crash if you want,” he said. He held out a hand and you carefully took it, shutting your car door and locking it up. You crossed the street, walking back up the sidewalk with him. “There’s an empty bedroom at the top of the stairs. Kinda a um…”
“The fuck room?” you asked and he laughed, shaking his head.
“No, no. I mean I’m sure people have fucked in there but it’s more of a...guest room for those who need it. It’s safe I promise.”
“You’re sure?” you asked, turning up the path to the frat house with him.
“I’ll sleep outside on the floor if you want,” he said. You shook your head, heading inside, not too many people in there, a few guys throwing some trash into bags. “You want to go to bed or stay up a bit?”
“I don’t know,” you said, squeezing your eyes shut. “Sorry.”
“Hey,” he said softly. “Don’t be sorry. We can sit out on the back porch for a bit. I can bore you to sleep with how fascinating a person I am.”
You smiled, Taylor taking you back and outside, a few guys sitting around a bonfire in the backyard.
“I don’t have a boyfriend,” you said, Taylor smiling as he grabbed a few lawn chairs and pulled them away from the fire and over towards the backdoor.
“Neither do I,” he said. “We got that in common already.”
You rolled your eyes but smiled, sitting down in a chair, Taylor ducking inside and returning with a thick wool blanket, handing it to you. He had a beer in his hand too and a bottle of water, holding them both out before you took the water.
“Any particular reason you wanted to share that fact?” he asked with a smirk.
“My last boyfriend was great but he was in Canada and I moved back here for school and I just don’t want you getting the wrong idea here. Like I’m absolutely not looking for a boyfriend. At all.”
“Well I’m not looking for a girlfriend,” he said, cracking open his beer with another smile.
“Don’t have that look on your face.”
“What look?”
“That cocky frat guy look.”
“Y/N the only thing I want is for you to feel safe tonight, not get in your pants. I’m totally a virgin by the way. Never even had a girlfriend.”
“That by choice?” you asked.
“Oh no. I want sex,” he laughed.
“You live in a frat house.”
“Yeah and call me old fashioned but I want to love the woman that I have sex and do that stuff with. I’m not saving myself or waiting for marriage but I want it to be with someone I care about, you know?” he said.
“You’re a horrible excuse for the frat guy stereotype you know.”
“Part of my charm,” he said. He glanced down, a little shy like and you burrowed into the blanket.
“That’s a good thing,” you said.
“Still single.”
“Still saved my ass,” you said. He nodded and smiled, looking up at the dark sky above. “I’m a virgin too you know. I have a similar philosophy when it comes to dating and sex.”
“You’re too pretty to never have found a guy you loved,” he said.
“Didn’t love him enough to want to have sex with him. I kinda come with a lot of this hidden baggage Taylor.”
“He didn’t like that?”
“I was nineteen. I wasn’t ready. The baggage kind of…”
“That guy tonight?” he asked. You nodded, Taylor taking a sip from his can. “He’s not so scary.”
“You don’t know what he’s capable of. If you knew him like I did, you’d be scared.”
“Maybe he’s scary. But baggage from him? That’s not so scary,” he said.
“How would you know?”
“Baggage is just crap you gotta carry. But it’s not you. So maybe you got baggage but that’s just extra crap. At the end of the day it’s just you and you don’t seem so scary,” he said.
“You’ve never seen me at six in the morning,” you said with a quiet chuckle.
“I’m sure she’s just fine,” he said. You turned your head and caught Taylor looking back, dark brown eyes staring into yours.
“I was drugged at a party in high school. It was an attempted kidnapping for ransom. Jimmy and his brothers and dad were all involved. Eventually they did take me and my dad, had us on the run when we escaped. They went to prison but Jimmy went to juvie because he was underage and didn’t have as active of a role in the more severe stuff. Apparently he’s still pissed and looking for revenge. How’s that for baggage?” you said, sitting back in your seat.
“Sounds like you’re kinda badass,” he said. You snapped your head in his direction, a smile on his lips. “That doesn’t scare me. Like I said, that’s just baggage, it’s not you.”
“It should. Jimmy is just going to come back again.”
“Well let him,” he said, giving you a hard look. “I’m bigger than he is last I checked. He pulls any shit he’ll be tried as an adult. I’m sure he’ll get some time for what he pulled tonight. So relax. I said you’re safe.”
“I-”
“You’re safe. Relax Y/N. He’s not going to bother you tonight and tomorrow you can talk to your parents and figure everything else out but tonight you’re good. So stop spinning your wheels and let me distract you alright?” he said. You sunk down in your seat, pulling the blanket up under your chin.
“Okay,” you said quietly. “Just for a little while until I get tired.”
“Whatever you want Y/N.”
“Thank you,” said your dad to the lawyer the next afternoon after you were walking out of the court house. He was barely out of the building before his fists were clenched. “I could strangle the little shit. I could and get away with it. Parents snap all the time in court.”
“Honey,” said your mom with a sigh as you walked down the steps ahead of them. “He broke his restraining order. He’s going away for at least-”
“Taylor?” you said, spotting him on a bench, looking through his phone. He stood up and smiled. “What are you doing here?”
“Your lawyer called me and asked me to come down in case they needed me to say anything but they didn’t need me,” he said, your parents walking over.
“You the frat guy?” asked your dad. He nodded, your dad returning it. “Thank you.”
“It was no big deal. Not a fan of douchebags,” he said.
“Still. Thank you,” said your dad. You waved them to go ahead, Taylor smiling when they were out of hearing distance.
“He doesn’t seem as overprotective as you said.”
“You didn’t have the joy of watching him freak out this morning,” you said. “Thanks for coming down. I really appreciate it.”
“I’m happy to help, really,” he said.
“I gotta run. We have to talk with the lawyer again,” you said, taking a step backwards. “You um, you want to hang out later?”
“I don’t have your number,” he said, taking out his phone. You put in your contact and handed it back, giving him a smile. “Tonight?”
“Text me,” you said, nearly tripping in your heels. He smirked and you rolled your eyes. “Shut up.”
“I didn’t say anything. I’ll try in a little bit when you’re done with that lawyer stuff,” he said.
“Thanks. I’ll uh, see you later,” you said, quickly spinning around. You caught up with your parents at the car, getting a pair of smirks from them both as you buckled up. “What?”
“Is his dad a cop?” asked your dad.
“Taylor!” you shouted, opening the back door as he started heading down the sidewalk. He spun around fast and you leaned out of the seat. “What’s your dad do?”
“Huh?”
“What’s your dad’s job?” you shouted.
“He’s a postman?” he said.
“He’s good,” chuckled your dad.
“You’re good!” you said, giving him a thumbs up.
“You are so weird you know that right?” he called.
“Yeah...but you like that,” you said. He smiled and you gave him a quick wave before you were back in the car and your dad pulled out. “What?”
“Nothing,” he said with a smile. “I like your friend is all.”
“Why?” you asked.
“You are so not as shook up as you should be and he’s probably a good reason for it,” said your mom. “So we like him.”
“Well he’s...I don’t know...he’s just my friend,” you said, catching them share a look.
“Okay. He’s just a friend,” said your dad, your mom reaching over and taking hold of his hand. “Alright. Long day is almost over. A few more papers and then you can invite your friend over for dinner if you want.”
“Thanks,” you said quietly. “For not you know, going crazy protective.”
“Oh I will be. He’s kinda got a good track record of doing that himself so far is all,” he said. “Just one teensy favor.”
“No parties for a while?”
“That’s my girl.”

Alright, so I have a few hours before work, so I'm starting to type up the next chapter of Sinless Sinners. I still want to remind everybody (especially the new Tumblr users) that Tumblr isn't like Twitter. Liking a post does nothing. There is no algorithm here.
Instead, it just disheartens artists and writers from adding more. We thrive on reblogs, comments, tags and mentions.
Like, I really love that so many people are liking the story, but there's a massive gap between the amount of reblogs and likes.
So, to those of you who do reblog and comment, thank you. I read every single comment and even when it's the most basic line like a keyboard smash or a heart emoji, I go nuts.
And you are feeding my sanity. So, yeah, thank you.
