I am so done.

Yes. This is a vent. I was just minding my own buisness when I saw a video called "aesexuals arent lgbtqia+". I thought It was content covering why they in fact are lgbtqia+, but I was shocked to see the description. It said "It always amuses me that this video still, to this day, gets the most 'hate'. If you aren't same sex attracted, you aren't a part of the gay community. Why does it annoy you so much that you don't belong to a group that has historically and continues today, to face so much oppression and violence?" Which is flat out untrue. If you look at modern day scocietey, aros, aesexuals, and aroaces are still being oppressed and discriminated, and acted violently upon. It has been going on scince people accepted it was a thing, and it is still going on. Also, i'm 99% sure the person who made that was a lesbian. Why would you discriminate against your own community? It feels like not even online is a safe place anymore.

what's your current perspective on ragapom after the new episode? my headcanons have been almost completely changed...they're both losers and ragatha certainly seems to be more of a loser than pomni like many have pointed out. she literally does not take pomni's name out of her mouth throughout the entire episode!! like, sure, we all know you care about her and you're worried after all that happened in the pilot, OKAY! but for the love of god you literally fell off a CLIFF and one of your first reactions is ask about her?? definitely the biggest pomni simp to ever exist, no mfer in this fandom can ever beat her

First of all, aro people aren’t necessarily ace as well so many still feel sexual attraction. Not to mention, QPRs and other tertiary attraction exist. You can also have a platonic relationship (people often underestimate the strength platonic attraction or bonds can have), a romantic relationship without attraction (often cupioromantic people will have these but anyone can), a relationship where each person is attracted or in love in a different way (for example, the women could be attracted to the man in a romantic way and the gay man could be attracted in a platonic way). The possibilities are pretty much endless. And yes, I have heard of happy couples in which the partners are a gay man and lesbian woman and they aren’t together in a lavender marriage.

Obviously, there's nothing wrong with butches who are stone and gruff, they're all awesome too! I just wanted to make a post for butches like me. I've been invalidated by others (a few times actually) for being "too soft to count as a true butch" despite still taking pride in my identity as a masculine presenting and gender non-conforming gay woman.
