ive been wanting to talk abt the enstars self aware au for awhile heheh. this isnt a request, just a passing thought abt a self aware where the reader knows what theyre doing and what kind of situation theyre in but doesnt do anything abt it. especially the moments when theyre transported into the world.
like oh, everyone is putting them on a pedestal for some reason and is somehow unhealthily obsessed with that fact? sure, do as you like it as long as you dont do overly dangerous things. they also dont take the suuper intense parts of it seriously, basically turning a blind eye to it! reader can and will know when they’re getting into it, though. and once it gets on their nerves they will take action.
(i honestly just want a really cool reader for self indulgence like itd be really awesome methinks)

A player that turns a blind eye to the way the characters obsess over them
So a player that doesn´t care too much about the creepy behavior, huh? It seems realistic, at least not thinking that the characters are sentient when you play the game. Normally, as soon as you find yourself in the world of Ensemble Stars, your perception would change though and most people would most likely freak out. It´s something that the idols may even have anticipated even though they hope that you´re happy to see them and spend time with them.
And it looks like that is exactly the case! You don´t seem to mind when they trail behind you or hug you a little too tightly. You don´t even mind when they don´t immediately let go of you afterward or sniff your hair a little. Is this you reciprocating their affection in your own way?
And sure, it´s kind of unsettling how they´re putting you on a pedestal and basically worshipping the ground you walk on, and they also don´t ever leave you alone. But it´s not like they´re actively harming you in any way so is it really that bad? You just let them be.
Honestly, you´re just making this worse for yourself in the end because they don´t really fear that you might grow to hate them if they act on their yandere urges, so they kind of just do whatever they want and things spiral out of control way faster.
Oh, you don´t mind if they take some photos of you while you aren´t looking, right? Some aren´t even trying to hide while stalking you because they´re convinced you would love them anyway. Your clothes are also quickly disappearing one by one, as they all want to be as close to you as they can, and even though you let them hang around you as much as they like, they still can´t bear the thought of being away from you for even a minute so they need a piece of you to go to sleep.
Some shameless attention-hogs like Ritsu or Rinne might even straight-up break into your room and sneak into your bed to sleep right next to you.
Please be very careful, because you need to be very firm when you set clear boundaries for the others. You won´t be as paranoid if you simply try to accept their strange behavior but they will start to step out of line very quick if you don´t do anything. They just grow more unhinged every day and your acceptance proves that it´s worth fighting for the right to be your one and only. You may approve of their “affection” but you also don´t reprimand the others, right? So maybe they do need to try and get rid of the others that are taking advantage of you like that.
They´re the one that loves you the most!
So please, at least try to tell them to stop before they actually start murdering each other

also hi it's me, marcus anon, back with another headcanon kinda
you reblogged a post about nose kisses and stuff ik it was like two days ago but i started it and then didn’t have time to finish and it made me think about how marcus is definitely the kind of person who loves kissing you in other places than your lips (am I making sense?)
obviously I'm not saying he doesn't enjoy kissing your lips quite the contrary but he also has a habit of kissing you all the time, pretty much everywhere.
maybe it's just because I'm like that let's blame the french that I am but kissing cheeks as a greeting is something very special to me.
i’m getting less and less awkward about touching people but something that has never bothered me was kissing someone’s cheek.
of course, most of the time it’s the regular cheek kissing (la bise) which is just putting your cheek against someone else’s and doing that kissing noise
but i’m talking about actual cheek kisses.
and our boy marcus definitely is a big cheek-kisser.
when he’s in a rush and he wants to say hello/goodbye, when he says thank you, right before bringing you into a big hug and more simply, when he’s feeling affectionate and wants to show you he loves you (especially in public)
again, it’s probably just me but i’m not comfortable AT ALL with pda. like definitely the kind to make out with my partner in public but i don’t mind low-key gestures such as cheek kisses.
while thinking about this headcanon i asked myself why i found cheek kisses so sweet and the only answer i could come up with is that it’s there is something so precious, so wholesome about kissing someone’s cheek. i believe it’s one of the most purest way of showing your love for someone and i refuse to believe it is that underrated
also i feel like just as he enjoys kissing you on your cheek, he loves receiving kisses there.
he loves it when you kiss him and crunch your nose up because his stubble tickled you, loves it even more when you kiss him after he’s shaved because his skin is all soft and warm one might even argue he shaves just for that
and let’s be honest pictures of you kissing his cheek/him kissing yours are the cutest and you probably have hundreds of those.

anyway who says you have to create art digitally? if that's the thing stopping you from being creative (for me it is this exact reason) I suggest you pick up a piece of paper, some cheap watercolor you can find at the nearest store to you, a brush and just fuck up the paper. make an abstract painting and think how you can add to it. if you find cool shapes in your painting, take a picture of it and draw over it, create faces or other objects. anything you want. or if you don't want to do anything over the painting you can always put it up on a wall. yay, decoration ✨️🖼
thing is this is not really something thats all that appealing to me. Ive tried what you described before and,,, idk its just not really my thing, I guess?
But hey maybe its worth giving it another try, maybe I'll enjoy it this time :)

Hello sugar of course you can be 🖼️ anon🫶🏻 and I really really really liked this idea and not bc I have daddy issues or anything also I love doing these spitballs bc I will write them in one short sitting and I never know the direction they’ll take so this is Price and troublemaker reader before they got together
Thinking about Price being known as the captain to pick up strays, always willing to give everyone a second chance, even those that have been deemed the worst, someone very much like you.
No one really knows the reasons as to why you’ve been kicked out of so many squads, all Price knows is that he isn’t having any of it.
He sees potential in you, knows you can make a great soldier, wants you to prove yourself to him and of course you do so. You went from being called the soldier that always get kicked out to being called Price’s boy. However off the field you are an absolute menace, riling everyone up on base til they’re hot on your heal lunging for your neck while you’re doing your best to escape them.
Price had heard some whispers here and there but not thinking they were anything serious he choose to brush them off especially when he couldn’t see any trace of that behavior when he was around. However he’s in for a harsh wake up call when you stir the pot so much he’s called in for an emergency disciplinary meeting, with you sitting next to him looking like a kicked puppy, and as soon as you’re out of the room, you’re hot on his heels apologizing, and promising to never cause such mess again but he won’t speak to you. This goes on for days where Price won’t speak to you, and only giving you looks of disapproval when you try to approach him.
It eats and eats and eats at you until you no longer can take it and decide to speak to 141 about it, trying to find a way to apologize to him. Even though they give you greats tips and tricks on how to soften the harsh exterior he’s put up, bottom line is that you have to learn from the mess you’ve made.
The words sit like a rock in your shoe especially when Price starts spending more time with the new recruit. Sure it is to mentor him, he is new after all but you can almost visibly see yourself being replaced.
“Price’s boy is being replaced” a soldier jokingly says while patting you on the back.
In an attempt to drown your sorrows you drive to the nearest pub on base, only to drink yourself halfway to death and having to rely on the older man drive you back to base. He’s absolutely furious behind the wheel, brows pinched together and spit flying from the harsh words he’s speaking. “Are you out of your mind, boy?? What were you thinking, getting drunk and acting this way?!”
It’s then the floodgates finally open and you find yourself sobbing in the passenger seat telling him how you’re so sorry for acting this way, for embarrassing him like this, to please not be mad at you, to please not replace you with the new recruit.
And Price is taken by surprise quickly stopping the car to the side and gently grabbing you by the shoulder tone ever so soft as he tries to calm you down.
“Hey hey easy easy” he says as he caresses your cheek “deep breathes there we go, good boy” he says still caressing your face “better?” He asks and you just nod your head sobs reduced into sniffles “good let’s take you home yeah?” He says giving your shoulders a gentle squeeze and once again you nod, unable to actually muster up words to respond to him.
He quickly drives you back to base, coaxes you into taking a shower that manages to sober you up and brings you a small snack before he sits down next to you on bed.
“Earlier,” he says swallowing roughly, “you said something about replacing you? What did you mean by that?”
You just shrug in response, feeling too embarrassed to share your thoughts.
“Speak, boy” he says and just the use of the word, the one you haven’t heard him use in so long has you singing like a bird for him “I guess, I guess I just thought you’d kick me out, that you finally had enough of my shit and-“
“That I’d replace you with someone else?” He says, meeting your gaze beneath long black lashes.
You just nod your head before you look away.
“Hey, talk to me, why did you think I was replacing you with the new recruit?”
“Because you wouldn’t patrol with me anymore, you asked soap if he could sparr with me instead and..” you continue stating reasons while flailing your arms in the air, feeling sadness bubbling up in your gut once again along with the alcohol you stomached in one day.
“Sounds like you were jealous” he says in a playful tone, trying to ease the mood while chuckling at his own comment.
However you don’t laugh along with him swallowing nervously while glancing back at him.
“You were jealous?” He says again, voice now low and sounding much more serious.
“Maybe” you croak out and shrug your shoulders watching his eyes widen in surprise before his gaze flicks between your eyes and lips.

THANK YOU FOR THE RESPONSE FOR MY ASK AND HONESTLY I CAN'T AGREE MORE..... and I'm also here with another thought abt a certain type of reader!
I'm really curious about a reader that barely plays the game, but when they do open it they could play it for, let's say, 7 hours straight!
at the same time, they don't really have a definitive favorite, so they'd change the characters in their home screen and room regularly. being in the next character position just practically depends on the readers mood.
if I were to put myself as an example, well, I'm a valkp so I'd put them if I'm in a good mood! sometimes I'd changed to mama and arashi too, and other times I'd use a generator then constantly click on the character to see how they'd interact (and then respond like I'm actually talking to them but that is a bit embarrassing)
andd right now in jp I'm mainly having midori and koga in my home screen cause they have my current in game 5* (aka the favorite among the ones I actually have), I just think it's gonna be funny with how their dynamic cld be (my condolences to midori, probably)

A player that alternates between not playing at all and playing hours on end and doesn´t have a favorite character either
Oh you would be the death of them if you did someting like that, lol
The first time you´re alone for so long they get really worried and wonder why you aren´t coming back. Are you not interested in them anymore? Did they do something wrong that drove you away? Or did something happen to you at home? Were you safe???
They´re all worrying about you and one day, you just open the game again and it feels like a huge crisis was just averted. They would still love to know why you were gone for so long but at least you´re back now and they can spend more time with you! They´re so happy, their enthusiams probably increased from the withdrawal they went through for so long.
They almost don´t notice that you spent several hours playing the game, time goes by so quickly for them because they´re with the person they love most! But after some time, they do notice that you´ve been playing for way longer than is healthy so some of them may get a little worried for you. If you happen to have Nazuna or Yuzuru on your home screen you can definitely expect a voiceline from them telling you that it´s okay to take breaks sometimes and that they wish that you take proper care of yourself. It won´t help anyone if you get sick from playing too much, okay?
And then they freak out when you´re gone for a long time again kankfabf Should they not have said anything after all? Should they just have enjoyed the time they had with you???
Honestly this cycle keeps repeating for many many times until they eventually realize that this is just the way you play the game and that you´ll most likely return to them again. Which doesn´t mean that they don´t miss you when you´re gone :/ They´re all visibly tense during your absence, some more pessimistic ones wondering if this time you will leave them for good
And then there´s another factor they aren´t too happy about: No one knows who your favorite is! No one knows if they´ll finally get their turn this time because you keep changing the idols on your home screen or the ones you use when playing a life. Theoretically it´s nice because it gives everyone a better chance of getting to interact with you and get some time in the spotlight but no one is really happy with this.
Sure, you´ll choose them sometimes, but that´s not enough. They want to be special to you and not chosen by some random generator or something! They don´t want to share you with all the other idols who couldn´t possibly love you as much as they do! They´ll definitely try to use the time you give them to impress you to the best of their abilites. Maybe if they try really hard or show you their appreciation in their voice lines, you´ll grow fond of them and only put them on the home screen from now on?
They´ll certainly try!

Lolabee's 1 Year of Fic Celebration: 5th-7th April
I published my first fic in the fandom (Into the Fire - Joel Miller x reader) on April 6th 2023! This was probably the moment I fully committed to being part of the Pedro Pascal fandom and was a brave step for me in a) sharing writing after a long bout of writer’s block and anxiety and b) trying x reader for the first time and just writing for me again.
Since then, I’ve written a lot, made some wonderful friends and feel like I’m rebuilding my confidence again. It’s not been the easiest twelve months for me offline, there’s been some really stressful and difficult times, but this tumblr and writing has become a bit of an escape again and I love this community.

but i came home in the afternoon, still sick and hungry and tired seasonal depression is hitting me like a fucking freight train and i opened tumblr and guess what? you posted that marcus thingie i requested!!
i love that song so much and as i said, every time i listened to it, it made me think of marcus. but what you did was so beautiful…i don’t even know if i want to cry because i’m desperately longing for this or if i want to cry from how soft it is

Seeing as were are going down the body swap list with Mario. I feel it only makes sense to ask what if Mario and Luigi swapped body.
On one hand I feel that nothing would really change. As the two of them are similar. They would be confused, and such but the they are already so comfortable around the other that I feel like they wouldn’t be in much of a hurry to switch back.
If we want to make it angsty I can see Luigi feeling just how sore Mario really is. Like he knew before, that his brother’s body has taken a toll over the years but he’s never felt the extent of it himself. Luigi would apologize, hug his brother, and said he wishes he was better so Mario wouldn’t shoulder everything on his own.
With Mario I feel he would be able to feel all of Luigi’s anxiety. All his twitches and ticks and feeling guilty that he can’t prevent those fears but then feeling so much pride that his little brother is still able to push through despite those fears, praising Luigi that he’s far better then he thinks he is.

Luigi realizing how bruised and sore Mario feels all the time? Mario in turn experiencing firsthand how much more taxing everything is for Luigi? Both brothers gaining a very deep insight from this, the incident only strenghtening and amplifying their brotherly love tenfold?
