Am I the only one who has troubles with accessing drafts from mobile?
Past the 15th/20th they just don't load as if there's nothing more there even though I know for a fact that I've got a lot more drafts than that + in the settings thingie Tumblr does show me the right count of srafts but when I click on them it doesn't load them past that 15th/20th.

VISVIVA PRESENTS: PIRR a simplistic, elegant free theme
what's up everybody! this is visvivacodes, back to share another theme with all you lovely people! this is a simple navigation page for you to store your links and keep your blog organized. I used this one as some more practice with flexbox and transitions, so you'll see it's got a responsive design and the main container changes on hover. I hope you all love it and thanks so much for your support! pirr: noun. a gentle wind
NAVIGATION I: PIRR — join my discord!
PREVIEW: TUMBLR / CODEPEN DOWNLOAD: GITHUB / PASTEBIN / CODEPEN
FEATURES
no coding knowledge needed! fully customize from the comfort of an easily comprehensible root element (tutorial available on my discord)
responsive design that changes dimensions as your screen gets smaller - I am still learning so it doesn't look perfect on phones but it is functional! as time goes on and I learn more about flexbox, I will return to this code to make it more responsive :)
a choice of 16 FONTS for you to change the look of your navigation's written content, including your title, subtitle, and links!
link sections with inner scroll — all link sections will automatically gain a scrollbar if they get long, though I do recommend sticking to the original 18 links as it keeps the tidiness
clean and easy to read code!
if you download this pagee theme, please give this post a like or reblog!
I just had surgery yesterday so I might not be around much to answer any qustions. if you run into any problems at all, please do not hesitate to message me! I am aware of an issue inherent to flexbox where margins and padding do not work as intended in different browsers, so please let me know if this page is looking very strange in your browser!
PRICE & DONATIONS
This theme is a FREE theme! I love to code so my themes will be free for now. If you would like to support me and my work, please consider leaving a tip or buying me a coffee via cashapp ( $visviva ) :)

the rational part of my mind: see the thing about ieytd roleplays is that actually building a community would be a very difficult affair. it would be very hard to establish continuity, and most levels of the game don't really ever feature any more than you and your handler, which doesn't leave much room for other people to be included, and it's a complete and utter toss up who at any given time controls the set dressing or triggers important events. also since the game is mostly revolved around puzzles being able to actually get established scenes that all parties can participate in in equal measure would be a challenge. also you've only watched one james bond movie, and outside of the netflix reboot of carmen sandiego you haven't actually consumed a lot of spy adjacent medias, so you don't really know the tropes- good or bad- to use or avoid in your portrayal of pretty much any of the characters. also you haven't roleplayed in months.
the monkey part of my mind: yeah but like. if i DID who would i muse 👉👈

this has been on my noggin for a while now but: i don’t mention it often (as there is more to me than my race) but i’m bipoc indigenous and it’s really exhausting to see when people disrespect poc. if you aren’t poc or aren’t the same poc as your poc muse(s) please be respectful of that and listen to people of that race or ethnicity when they speak on it. otherwise you look unawaringly ignorant at best and disrespectful and condescending at worst.

Hello! A few days ago I thought of making a gif pack for commission. But I'm a bit unsure if anyone would be interested and I often feel like my gifs aren't that good. Or what if the person who requested the gifs doesn't like the end result? Whoever made gif pack commissions could perhaps write about whether you had doubts and how you overcame them?
What I was thinking: 10 gifs = $1 20 gifs = $2 and etc… Also, at first I would only accept smaller packs, which would mean a maximum of about 150-200 gifs and only through ko-fi, only public commissions, that is, others could also buy the gif package.
I welcome all opinions and tips.

[ src. ] Which muse(s)s did you have the biggest inspiration for lately? / Why did you choose to make a multimuse?
Which muse(s)s did you have the biggest inspiration for lately?
well! that is not a simple or short answer because it's usually a lot of them at once. for one, there's shiroe---in no small part due to having become mutuals with you, but i do also generally just tend to have a lot of inspo for shiroe at any given time. i've said this before but he's the muse i absolutely relate to the most out of any of them so he tends to always be pretty high-activity and easy to write for.
jet (avatar) is really up there right now, as well as striker (helluva), who are really kind of the same general character archetype in two different fonts. i've also been thinking a lot about five pebbles today in particular, and dandelion. then there's always cyran azerrad kapral, ankita culathene, aurilis ayeva, yanna lazaros, and finnegan twelve---well, they're all ocs of mine so it's only natural my mind would be on them pretty often but it IS on them specifically pretty often.
not necessarily on this blog, but i also think about mark twain ( @antisatiric ) more than i even really think about shiroe, which is a tall order! and i've been doing some pondering over ronny schiatto, dallas genoard, pamela mccall, nader schasschule, and laz smith ( @drfeelgreed ) lately too. i've been meaning to get back to those baccanos but i don't exactly have the audience required on either of the aforementioned blogs to really, um, run a functioning and active rp blog.
Why did you choose to make a multimuse?
people who have followed me for a long time will probably know this but when it comes to what characters i feel like writing at any given moment in time, i can be extremely flighty. i get really anxious only focusing on a few characters at a time and it's sort of always been that way with my writing.
it just ended up being the most comfortable for me to have a bunch of characters i wanted to write all in one place because of that. there have been some muses i've strategically placed on singlemuse blogs---twain over on antisatiric is one of them---because i knew they'd get more interactions that way, and sometimes it actually is very hard for me to see people who run singlemuse blogs getting a lot more attention for characters i *also* have just because they only write that character, but i'm really not capable of changing the things about me that make multimuses easier, so ...
multi questions. / eagerly accepting!

random-oc-questions-tabby asked: Greetings from the random oc questions tabby kitten!!💙 Out of the four, what would make your character happiest and why: power, peace, wealth, or love? What do they find more appealing and why: to be feared, to be admired, or to be loved?
Tumblr media
Mike desperately wants peace. something that tells him that he can be safe with his sister. to be away from his aunt for a week so he can care for his sister. to have a family again. he holds immense guilt from how quick his family fell apart, and wishes for that peace to return in his life again. as for what they find more appealing? to be loved. to have somebody tell him that they care for him and will be there to give him a day to rest. he needs rest, desperately.
Tumblr media
as for Scott, it's love! his own family has gone through so much turmoil with his work and his son - they mean the most to him. it is all that matters to him with his life. not peace, not wealth or power. he only needs love. and like Mike, he wishes to be loved. he commits to his job because he knows just how liable the company is. it's dangerous, and he wants it to be as safe as it can be when new people are employed.

Hello, I've been thinking about code and selling code and sharing code in the rpc because someone posed the question to me of what I'd want to happen if someone was heavily editing a skin I sold, and to be honest, my first instinct was 'take my name off it'. That was met with some surprise, but let me explain why.
Code, to me, is a largely democratic landscape. If you want to learn, hundreds of thousands of people and websites have come together to teach you. Masses of people share open source work on codepen, stack overflow etc. Code as a skill is like assembling an especially abstract puzzle where you can only think about the pieces, not really see them. But most puzzles have similar strategies to solve- start with the corner pieces, then the edges, then the most recognizable patterns etc etc etc working your way down to the more and more difficult details. Most of code- most of my job writing code- involves minimizing the amount of time working on those shared strategies so we can have more time to work on the the interesting bits, the hard bits. the bits that make the site we're working on unique and useful. Frankly, jcink is the easy part of code, by and large. Your data is already structured and provided to you in a very particular way. It is inefficiently, but largely documented. Many other people have solved all the problems you are likely to have trying to build a skin. Skinning is html and css for the vast majority of items. It is the easy stuff. If I sell code, that code is now the property of the person I sold it to. It is not shareable or redistributable. You can't take my code and resell it as your own, but as far as I'm concerned you can do whatever you want with it. If I solved problems that might otherwise feel difficult (accessibility and responsiveness come to mind) cool. You can solve the easy ones, like styling and colors and fonts you like. You can add or subtract things that vibe with what you want that code to do. Once it is sold, it is yours to do with what you like when it comes to personal use. This is true of almost all coding contracts that exist in the entire world. If it weren't, no one would ever hire external contractors to do any work for their company, and I can tell you now, even companies which could fully afford to do all their tech in house absolutely do not in 99% of cases if their business isn't selling their own tech. The rule is generally- you may do anything you like with this, except resell it to someone else. So why take my name off it? I don't endorse how other people code. Even in my professional life, I've taken projects off my portfolio because the client took a project I worked on and broke it (imo), often with other professional developers doing the breaking. If a prospective employer were to go look at it, I'd be embarrassed by what it looks like today. Tell me why I (and my team) created a website that was fully responsive, and they went back to make it adaptive in the year of our lord 2022 because they preferred to have pixel perfect views at 3 specific breakpoints rather than a responsive site. I don't know, it's infuriating. I can't cite that project as an example of my work anymore, because it isn't. I would never leave a site in that state.
So, my first instinct with the idea of people using a skin i sell them as a base is 'take my name off it.' I don't want to be associated if responsive/accessible features are lost due to others working on a skin I wrote. But at the same time, where is the line between using something as a base, and editing a few small features? I certainly don't want to be an arbiter of that, or have to field questions or navigate feelings about it. In fact, personally I would not feel upset at all if someone used a paid for skin as a base, and inviting that kind of discussion is the only way I possibly could get upset since people have weird attitudes about a lot of this stuff. So I think the more practical standard is just to put credit, but make it explicit that the work has been heavily altered. Don't resell or redistribute, and you're golden, imo. Anyway, those are my feelings as someone who writes code for a living. I'm interested to hear counterpoints - constructively of course.

what does rpc mean /gen
Hello, anon! RPC means Roleplay Center! In Tumblr, you see blogs that reply with graphics + icons and have really pretty layouts ^^
An example of it are @.meropidas (Wriothesley roleplayer) or @.embxllmer (Aesop Carl roleplayer), which are in the RPC community, but in different fandoms.
I hope that answers your question! If you are still confused, please let me know. /gen
