𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐋 . . . Subject 001.

Alright I’ve been thinking about it A LOT & I’ve come to decide I’m gonna give Henry a complete RE-verse rather than just a cross-over ! I can still do cross-over stuff but I want to be more authentic to the RE universe because I do think I can fit Henry in there pretty well & you know RE is a long time massive brain rot of mine.

In the verse the Hawkins lab becomes a Umbrella facility hidden in the small town of Hawkins, again removing all the 80s & other dimension stuff & replacing it with Umbrellas wacky monster virus stuff. Its pretty low key as far as Umbrella facilities are concerned & Umbrella began to use it as a storage place for some of their B.O.Ws in the early 2000s when they were on their way out, during the trails after the Raccoon city disaster. However, the Hawkins lab itself had been experimenting with psionics almost as long as Umbrella had been experimenting with viruses. Heavily inspired by MK-Ultra, & the capability some parasites had to bestow minor psychic powers on their mutant hosts, the scientists at Hawkins Lab, lead by Dr Martin Brenner, had hoped to introduce & exacerbate psychic powers in human test subjects in order to create highly intelligent, super-human weapons. Henry was a young, troubled boy living in the town of Hawkins, who apparently had clairvoyant properties. His mother repeatedly took him to doctors in town as she believed something to be medically wrong with him due to his “odd” behaviour. Doctors were able to record Henry’s uncanny perceptions, which they were entirely unable to explain, but other than that they couldn’t seem to decide on what was actually “wrong” with Henry; everyone seemed to have a different theory. Not long after being diagnosed with possible “childhood schizophrenia”, it was said that Henry’s father, who had served in the war as a young man, went insane & murdered his sister & mother, with Henry avoiding the attack through unknown means, although he was found at the scene of the murders unconscious. What really happened in the Creel family house is unknow, but to authorities it seemed to be a clear case of insanity from Victor Creel, who was promptly arrested & charged. From this point Henry became the perfect target for Dr. Brenner & his developing psychic weapon project. He abducted him from the hospital, having records falsified that Henry had simply never regained consciousness & passed away. Henry became the first test subject for an unknown virus, derived from the progenitor & the cells of one of Umbrella’s NE-parasites, known as the “Ultra virus” due to the source of its inspiration, or the “Hawkins virus” due to the location of its development. This was a fairly minor virus that had been drastically overshadowed by the development of the G-virus. Henry, now known as subject 001 showed no outward signs of mutation after infection, however he was able to unlock remarkable telekinetic abilities within himself. It was unknown whether Henry truly possessed “psychic abilities” before his infection but what was known was that his infection dramatically increased this power by hundreds of times. Deeply restless, a device was planted into Henry’s neck to supress his powers & attempts to replicate him in increasingly younger & more manageable children were made; too valuable to destroy but too unruly to properly utilise, Henry remained trapped in the lab as Brenner’s prisoner for 20 years as Brenner & his team struggled to recreate “Subject 001′s” powers in other children. This is something that would never come to fruition, however, as Umbrella struck trouble upon the release of the T-virus in the Akrley mountains, which lead to the Raccoon City disaster. Losing funding fast, the Hawkins lab became little more than a storage shed for some of Umbrella’s more successful & well known B.O.Ws & viruses as the company battled the legal repercussions of Raccoon City. Typically in this verse an outbreak occurs at the Hawkins lab, allowing Henry to escape. I’m leaving the cause of the outbreak kind of vague but TBH it probably had something to do with Wesker & HFC, given fucking things up & stealing any piece of possibly valuable Umbrella research was Wesker’s JAM at this point in the timeline lmao.

reiner definitely controls reader's social groups when he can. before bonding with porco, she was only really allowed to speak with the warriors and his family. anyone else either doesn't pay any mind to her or was too afraid of her (since she originated from paradis and is well-known to be married to the armored titan holder), but very select few like the fisherman that helped her can hold a conversation with her and ignore the status she has. tbh reiner really can't control who she talks to since he's out and about a lot but i think in another ask, i've mentioned that he hired some people to keep watch of her if she's doing anything suspicious or behind his back but they don't really keep complete watch on her bc wtf else is a housewife gonna do (this is literally their undoing bc she got away with a lot before the escape attempt happened 💀💀).

but like after the whole porco shit and the escaping, he never leaves her side and literally goes with her everywhere. groceries, shopping, even a simple stroll to stretch her legs, he's coming with her. conversations with any stranger are cut short and if the warriors are nearby, they'll only get a brief hello and a wave from them. reiner's so smothering that it's even more unbearable and reader never gets the chance for some peace until he leaves for more fighting. BUTTTT when he leaves and the house becomes all quiet, reader can't admit it aloud but she started hating the silence and starts missing his presence, as clingy as he is hehe

I LITERALLLLLYYYYY HAD THIS IDEA BACK WHEN I STARTED THE 2ND PART OF CACOETHES AND WHEN I WAS WRITING THE PORCO PARTS ABOUT LIKE A DIVERGENCE OF THE PLOT WHERE IT'S PORCO'S POV AND HE AND READER GET TOGETHER BEHIND REINER'S BACK. i kinda did wanted to originally add an implication that reader was sleeping with porco but since i was trying to go about this by how the characters were in the actual plot of aot (even tho when i started this blog and posted the first part, i hadn't watched the series since like 2013-2014 so i was extremely rusty when i came back to it), i felt like porco would never try sleeping with his vice captain's wife; maybe he would cause he'd prolly do it out of spite or get on reiner's nerves or has this cocky attitude about being able to get away with it, something to that extent. however, i think he's too prideful to be sleeping with an "island devil" he kinda likes and sorta has a slight amount of respect towards reiner (just bc he's a higher rank and that's about it).

i'm still going to actually make a fic about that plot eventually so everyone can see how reiner acts like in a jealous rage (i also sorta talked about it in a kink ask with the blog's most frequent asking anon, bow anon ( aka 🎀 anon (shoutout to you, you absolute horndog 🫶) if you look around in my answered posts or the love-message tag), and i have another request that's in the works about reiner's jealousy in more detail).

i heavily enjoy talking about cacoëthes and like you said, building upon its silly little fic-verse. sorry to my other fics due to my outspoken favoritism 😭😭 now that i think about it, out of all of them, bounded/boundless and cacoëthes gets asks the most and down boy, down and inamorato gets the least lmfao

💝 - What gestures do they really appreciate? How do you get on their good side?

He likes food. He likes food a lot. Any kind of food, but particularly fruits and chocolate. Stuff that’s hard to find while foraging and too expensive for Geppetto to really buy. He likes being shown artwork that other people took time to make, something that’s important to them, and food is included in that. Same with writing or drawings or paintings, obviously, he does a lot of writing himself and knows that it’s usually something personal you don’t necessarily want anybody and everybody to see.

Similarly, any sort of positive physical contact or affection is something he’s very, very not used to but really loves. He’s more used to being swatted at than anything and even with people who care about him, he thinks they’re too worried about hurting him to want to touch him but he's a touch starved bastard so he craves it.

As for getting on his good side, with strangers it literally just boils down to treating him with virtually any level of respect. The standard among humans is either trying to kill him or talking down to him due to pity or something and either way it’s obvious, so genuine kindness is enough for him to be friendly.

💀 - How do they feel about horror movies?

Probably hasn’t seen any, if I’m honest? He has very old fashioned taste in movies even in his modern verse. Watches a lot of musicals and romances and comedies. But he doesn’t like deliberately scary things much at all and knows it, so he wouldn’t opt to participate in watching any horror movies. If he did, there’d be a whole lot of posturing involved - acting like he’s not scared and talking loudly over the entire thing about how fake everything is and how he can see the plot twists from a mile away, just to try and cover up the fact that he’s unsettled.

Today i thought of Hans and Midori visiting the PT verse so lemme share my silly thoughts otay...

I feel like Hans would be SO hype when seeing Vigilante bc he's still a bit of a web for Americans (even if he's living in America he doesn't get to experience much of it unfortunately) so seeing a REAL COWBOY in the flesh would be like sooo epic for him sjdgskdgdh

Also i can see him fighting for his life trying to get Noisette to give him his order correctly and she just constantly fails to prepare it 😭

As for Midori I FEEL LIKE NOISE WOULD END UP ACCIDENTALLY SCARING HER bc y'all know Noise he would just drop in ready to throw bombs and stuff and suddenly there's a little girl and she's going to fucking cry because what the fuck is this a terrorist attack who is this man and he's like 😧 because he doesn't want to upset a kid ........

If that did happen i feel like Peppino would instantly go into papa bear mode and just get in front of her and cover her and shit

She really doesn't like being touched by strangers but given the circumstances she can try overlook her uncomfort

Gritting his teeth, he was holding his nose despite it gushing blood. The person who did it, was definitely looking worse than him considering he had to be pulled off them before taken to get his nose looked at. He didn’t know who this girl thought she was, but he could deal with this on his own.

Leo has plenty of bad memories. A lot of them are regrets, reminders of his past failings and mistakes, all the self inflicted pain he’s caused himself over the years, as well as the countless other lives he’s ripped through like a hurricane. Another large portion of them are times people he should have been able to trust hurt or betrayed him. Friends using him and then throwing him away. His mother telling him she never wanted him and how he only makes her life more difficult. Her boyfriends scaring or hurting him just to laugh in his face. His therapist doing more damage than good. His father seeing him as a disappointment. But perhaps Leo’s worst memories are of the times he took his substance abuse too far and overdosed. Being rushed to the hospital, not knowing if he was going to make it or not, feeling like his body was being pushed beyond it’s limits and he wouldn’t be able to take much more, and worst of all, knowing it was all his fault. He was lucky to survive both times it happened, and the memories still haunt his dreams when he’s fortunate enough to catch a moment of sleep.

Simon doesn’t believe in fate, or destiny, or luck. His belief in RA9, God, or any sort of higher power is constantly fluctuating, and he will often avoid talking about the subject. His faith is flimsy at best, though he will usually claim he doesn’t believe at all, even if he has doubts sometimes. Ultimately, Simon’s beliefs most closely align with Agnostic as far as labels go. He believes that there’s no way to know for sure, so he just does the best he can with what feels morally right to him and hopes for the best. He can’t help but believe in at least the possibility of some sort of higher power though. He doesn’t believe in absolutes, which means there is a possibility for just about anything unexplainable being real. This goes for things like ghosts, monsters, and aliens as well. He won’t openly say he believes in them, but he won’t dismiss the idea completely, and prefers not to fuck around and find out, just in case.

Being an android, Ralph doesn’t really have much in the means of a childhood. Though he generally has a child-like personality anyways, child-like is not the same as child. He has behaviors that can be seen often in children, however, many people carry behaviors like these into their adult years. That doesn’t make them any less adult or mature, and the same goes for Ralph. He is not a child android. That being said, it might be fun to explore his childhood by giving him a human verse (which I do plan to eventually do with all my muses, including Ralph. I just haven’t gotten to it yet). However, since I haven’t fleshed that out yet, I can’t really say much about his childhood in a human verse for the time being.

Jeremy (cupcake Jerry) is a hopeless romantic and likes sticking his nose in his friend’s love lives and playing match maker for them. Jeremiah (nurse Jerry) is less intrusive about it, but still finds love to be a heartwarming thing to witness and wouldn’t mind experiencing it for himself one day. Jerick (captain Jerry), on the other hand, has a less mature view of love and finds romance to be sappy and sickeningly sweet. He usually pokes light fun at friends who are in relationships, though is still good natured about it. However, one thing all three of them can agree on is platonic love and compassion for all. They have no hangups about telling each other or other friends that they love them, and will always show kindness to strangers by default.
