❝ hey, it's carley, right ? ❞ there is assured hesitation in her tone, a purpose to her presence in front of the other. a softness in her voice that doesn't necessarily shine in eyes beneath furrowed brows. the moonlight spilling in from the open doors provides just enough illumination inside of the train car to christa to make it from one end to the other without falling flat on her face. ❝ it's obvious there was some . . . tension in your group when we first met ⸺ i don't want an explanation, you're entitled to keep whatever the hell happened to yourselves, but i need to know one thing, ❞ she doesn't mean to sound so accusatory, not really, but christa had more than just herself and omid to be looking out for now, and with his leg the way that it was ― she couldn't risk dragging them into the middle of what could be the massive implosion of this group; the frays of which already seemed to be a stone's throw away from that becoming reality. ❝ should omid and i be worried that you're all gonna turn on one another in the middle of the night ? because if the answer is anything but a definitive no, i think we should go our separate ways. ❞

The first time König saw you was at the campus Valentine's Day party. You showed up dressed in a festive pink sweater, but then sat in the corner with a stank look on your face. His eyes followed you as you seemingly complained to the girl you came with, a friend? Either way, your breasts and sensual body shape caught his attention.
König walks up to a guy that’s talking to your friend, “Wer ist das?” He asks, pointing to you.
“She’s a bitch,” the girl's friend hits his chest as if to tell him to shut up.
“She’s just shy. She hates parties.” Christa, your friend, defends you.
They all stand there and watch you gather your things and walk out the door without saying bye to anyone, not even your friend. Interesting. What type of woman are you? He was intrigued and wanted to see more of you. See what those bouncy breasts look like outside of that pink sweater.
After this first encounter, he dedicated his time to following you around campus. First, only to figure out what your schedule was. What classes do you take, what teacher do you have, what building the classes are in, etc. Just the basics.
He stalks behind you, far enough behind that you’d never notice; but close enough to listen in on any conversations you had. Which was basically zero. You kept to yourself no matter what you were doing. If someone interacted with you, you’d have such a poor attitude about it. Snappy, short, lots of eye rolling. This went on for two months.
One day, König set up a forced interaction. Dressed casually and slicked his blonde hair back. He looks handsome, standing at 6 '10 and being pure muscle. He knows he is attractive; his personality just sucks, much like yours seems to.
He lingers outside your second class of the day and looks around as if he were a lost student. Once he sees you, he walks over.
“Excuse me, miss?”
Your eyes dart to him as you take out an air pod. “What?” Your tone is unkind.
“I’m lost and I don’t know which room-”
“I’m late for class.” You cut him off and walk past him.
König just watches as you walk away with a smirk on his face. He knows once he has you in his hands, he’d have fun breaking you. After that, he waits for you to leave class and follow you home. Since you would not get to know him the typical way, he would continue getting to know you in the shadows.
You walk fast, but he has no issues keeping up. Your hips sway hypnotically, keeping his attention. Finally, you stop at a cute one-story home. He watches as you take your keys out and enter your home. Waiting a few minutes before he walks up to peek into your windows. He looks around to make sure no neighbors are watching as he walks up to your house, crouching.
Eyes peering through the first window, he sees your living room. Your shoes kicked off by the door, TV turned on already, and backpack thrown on the couch. His eyes scan the room, trying to take in every detail.
Continuing on he comes to the next window. He sees you and ducks back, worried you might have seen him. After a few seconds of no screams, he creeps back to the window. There you are. Taking off your shirt and jeans, just standing there in your beige bra and blue cotton panties. Totally unaware you’re being watched as you check yourself out in your dresser's mirror.
Watching like a hawk as you open the top draw and pull out a pink little vibrator. König could already feel his pants begin to tighten. You walk to your bed, grabbing a towel that’s folded underneath the bed. Laying the towel out, getting your pillows situated, and moving the blanket. It’s almost like a ritual and König’s interest is definitely piqued.
He watches as you lie down on the bed. Your pretty pussy covered with a little bit of hair, as you spread your legs he can see the pink within your folds. Fuck this is gold…
König quickly undoes his pants as he watches you pick a setting before moving it to your little clit. Through the window he can hear how loud you’re being, your legs twitch from the stimulation. All the while König stands there feverishly stroking his leaky cock. Imagining him running up to you and shoving his cock in that tight little pussy…
Your hips begin to grind into the vibrator as your head drops back on to your pillows. Your left leg is starting to tremble… König watches without blinking as your innocent pussy begins to squirt. Fingers replacing the vibrator, you start rubbing your clit quickly. Your sweet juices are spraying everywhere. He bites his lip as he begins to cum, accidently cumming on the siding of your house. It felt as if he were a wild animal and just marked you, leaving his scent behind to deter other predators.
This became a ritual for König as the school year went on. He would follow you around campus, watch who you talk to, see how you interact with the world. Occasionally he would try to go up to you and just talk nicely, but every time you shot him down. As if you’re better than him. Then he would follow you home and masturbate outside your window as you play with your tiny cunt.
That was until summer break happened. You went away to work as a camp counselor for the summer, leaving König behind. With you gone, König felt lost. He spent most of the summer inside watching porn. Looking for actresses that resemble you, but none could match your perfect breasts or pretty pink cunt.
August rolls around and classes start back up. König walks into his social science class and sees you… perfect. You sit in the front, middle. Teacher’s pet know-it-all, of course you’d pick there to sit.
König sits in the very back, where he has a clear line of view in your direction. He watches as you rest your head in the palm of your hand. How you cross your legs and squeeze, as if you’re trying to stimulate some sort of pleasure. Little slut, you can’t even control yourself in class. All the obsession comes rushing back to him. He needs you.
Halloween rolls around. König is handed a flier for a costume party that will be happening at one of the sororities here on campus.  His new friend Carl, your friend’s boyfriend, goes out with him to buy costumes.
 They both walk through the Halloween store and talk casually. He tries to think of ways to ask about you without being so direct.
“Is Christas bitch friend coming?” König chuckles to make it seem less important to him.
“Y/n? Probably not. She never shows to support anything Christa does. When she does, she’s in a foul mood and just leaves. It breaks Christas heart.” He sounded genuinely upset with you and your behavior.
“What’s her deal anyway?”
“I don’t know. Little stuck up virgin bitch thinks she’s better than Christa because she’s waiting until marriage.”
Virgin. That’s why you only touch your clit; you don’t want to “pop” your cherry.
“Is she religious?”
“Probably. I never cared to ask. Let’s just hope she doesn’t show up and ruin it.”
“Yeah.” König didn’t want you to show up, but for a very different reason. He had something special in the works.
Reaching up, König grabs a Ghostface mask and holds it up to his face. “Hey, what about this?”
.
.
Halloween night, König puts on the black robe over a pair of blue jeans, a white shirt, and a small satchel bag that has duct tape and rope. A real knife in his hand. He stood in front of his bathroom mirror, looking at himself. Blonde hair longer and pushed back, dark circles under her icy blue eyes, and a twisted look on his face.
“You got this. You can do it.” He whispers as he slips the mask over his face.
König leaves his shared apartment on campus and walks down the street while the sun is just beginning to set. Other students rush past him, all heading to their own Halloween parties. Towering over everyone dressed as Ghostface, he had a few people jump out of fear. From behind the mask, he apologizes while laughing. As if he is a normal guy.
Finally, he approaches the steps on the sorority. Walking inside he sees that there are a few other Ghostface at the party already. König rolls his eyes under the masks. His attention turns to the staircase as he hears Christa and Carl arguing. Without being seen, he walks closer to listen in. It’s clear that she’s talking about y/n.
You bailed. Probably home studying or making yourself squirt. The thought gives König a chub. You’re exactly where he hoped you would be. At first, he was nervous this wouldn’t work out for him. No, you never change. Easy to track. Before he is seen, he slips out of the doors.
He blends in easily for once in his life. Everyone dressed up like freaks or sluts. The giant isn’t the main focal point today. Once he enters your neighborhood, he notices the empty streets, but very loud house music. All of your neighbors seem to gather, yet your home's lights are on.
Cautiously, he approaches your living room window. Boom, there you are, asleep on the couch. The TV on TLC, some random trash television show. He attempts to lift the window in front of him, but it’s locked. Moving down a window to your bedroom, also locked. König walks around the back and tries the back door, locked. The kitchen window is a little smaller, but he still tries it. Open.
Carefully, König climbs through the window. His massive body just barely begins to fit, but he manages. Slowly he climbs off of the counter that was right under the window, being sure to not kick anything off the counter and possibly wake you up.
Once stable on the floor he stood there for a while and looked around your kitchen. Your style was quirky, which was odd because you act as if you have no personality. Before waking you up, he goes into the bedroom and gets that towel you keep under your bed. He lays it out on the bed the same way you do. Even arranging the pillows and blanket for you.
Reaching into his bag under his black robes, he takes out the rope and tape. The rope he leaves on the bed as he walks out of the bedroom with the tape. He pulls some and he can be quick to shut you up.
With soft steps he makes his way to the living room. He can see your hands are in your hands as if you fell asleep masturbating. A virgin whore. He’s ready to just make you into his whore. Standing over you as you sleep; eyes drifting over your breast and the tiny bit of midriff that is showing.
Slowly lowering his face closer to you until he sees your eyes open. At first it’s as if you didn’t register what you saw. König tilts his head. Then you open your eyes again and begin to scream. Quickly he covers your mouth with the tape.
“Shhh,” his eyes go wild behind the mask.
You try to stand and get away but his massive body easily overpowers yours and slams you back down into the couch.
“Don’t fucking move.” He hisses as he cuts the tape with the knife. Pulling more, he adds an extra layer.
With ease he lifts your body from the couch, pinning your arms to your side so you can’t hit him. Your legs kicking as he brings you into your room; eyes going wide as you see that he set the bed up the same way you set up when you masturbate.
König giggles looking at your face, “I did good, ja?”
He grabs the rope and tosses you on the bed. As you try to stand up, he pushes you back hard, “Give up Maus, you’re mine tonight.”
Using his massive body to pin you down, he climbs on top of you. Your face down into the mattress as he grabs one of your arms and pins it behind your back before grabbing the other. He uses the rope to tie your hands together, tight enough to dig into your flesh.
“I’ll show you how to have a really good time.”
König stands and grabs your body, turning you to rest on your back, nuzzled in the pillows like when you masturbate. He walks to your dresser and takes out the small pink vibrator. You look up at him with wide eyes, it’s clear that he’s been watching you.
“Now, don’t move, or I might cut you.” He says leaning back over your body as he begins to cut your shirt from your body. Your full breasts come into view and he can’t help the temptation of reaching up and pinching your nipple. You try to scream through the tape, but the sound is muffled.
His attention drops down to the waistband of your pajama pants. Slowly he pulls them down. Seeing your cunt face to face instead of at a distance was breathtaking. Speechless, he moves his fingers through the soft hair that covers your pussy. Finally, he can feel you, smell you, taste you.
“If you move, I’ll gut you.” He threatens as he begins to settle himself between your legs.
He lifts his mask slightly and takes in a deep breath of what your pussy smells like. It’s almost sinful. He has to taste it. Slowly he slips his tongue out and swipes it through your folds. You squirm slightly but stop, remembering the knife. He swipes his tongue up again. If he knew you were this sweet, he would have broken in sooner.
Shoving his face into your pussy he takes a deep breath before sucking on your clit. He bites it lightly, causing you pain as your body jerks away. Not letting you move; he wraps his arms around your legs tightly to hold you still. Spit running down his chin as he aggressively laps at your cunt. He slurps your pussy juice before biting your labia. Again, you jerk in pain and König just laughs as he pulls his mask back down.
Once he stands from the bed he just looks down at your naked body. He begins to pull off the black robe, tossing aside the satchel. Stripping down to his birthday suit, but the mask stays on. His body is massive with a cock so heavy it hangs.
He grabs your pink vibrator and turns it on, gently holding it to your clit. His eyes light up as your legs begin to tremble. Muffled little moans escaping your lips. You can’t help but to feel pleasure, even though you’re in this situation.
“Good…kleine Hure.” He turns off the vibrator and sets it aside. Inching closer to you, he slaps his cock on your pussy a few times.
“Ready?”
You shake your head no and try to scoot away from him, but he grabs your legs and drags you back to him. “No, no, no, you’re not getting away that easy.”
Looking down at your cunt he rubs the head of his cock back and forth over your clit. Slowly he slips down. With one hard thrust of his hips, he bullies his monster cock deep inside of your unused pussy. The tightness of your cunt was something only his hand had ever given him.
“Mien Gott, you really were a virgin.” He chuckled.
König grabs your legs and lets them fall over his arms as he holds your ass up off the bed slightly. His hips rolling rapidly into you, looking down he can see blood on his cock. A soft growl leaves his lips.
He lets your legs drop as he leans over you, one of his hands wrapping around your throat lightly. “My fat unprotected cock just ruined your pretty virgin cunt.”
You try to turn your head away from him as tears begin to roll down your eyes, but he doesn’t let you. He turns your head back to face him.
“Eyes open. I want to see the shame when I make you cum.”
You open your eyes as you have no choice but to listen. His free hand reaches down between your legs and begins to rub your clit. Trying to resist the pleasure was impossible, your legs tremble as your pussy feels as if it were torn in two.
He watches as you shake your head no. Your pussy getting tighter on his cock, he knew. He pulls out quickly, shoving his middle and ring finger into you. He presses down on the lower part of your stomach as his fingers curl, hitting your g-spot repeatedly.
You drop your head back and he slaps your pussy, “Eyes on me!” His voice a low growl.
Lifting you head back up to look at him, your eyes cross from the explosion of pleasure you’re feeling. You squirt, hitting the Ghostface mask slightly, getting it all over König’s hands and arms.
“That’s what I want to see!” He excitedly slips his cock back into your pussy. His eyes watch as you wince in pain.
His hips move mercilessly into you. “I’m going to cum deep inside of this pussy. You’re going to get pregnant with my babies. You like staying home anyway, right?”
The look on your face as he talks down to you is full of fear and it’s just enough to get him off. He presses his cock fully into you, your cries of pain muffled buts still so beautiful. König cums deep inside of you. His seamen painting every inch of your velvety walls. A loud groan leaves his mouth as he tries to press in even further.
The look on your face is almost relieved as he cums, that means this is over with. So, you thought. He pulls his cock out, covered in blood and cum. In one quick motion he flips you on to your stomach, pulling you down the bed a little. He sits on the bed now, one leg on either side of you. König leans forward to pull the tape off of your mouth and drags you closer to him by your shoulders.
“You’re going to clean this.” He says slapping his cock on your face a few times. “Open.”
You don’t struggle, opening your mouth wide. The taste of salty cum and blood assaults your taste buds. His hand grasping a fist full of hair and shoving his cock down your throat. Your body thrashes, legs kicking as you gag.
“Get used to it, Maus. My cock isn’t leaving your throat any time soon.”

Chapter 3: The Proposal
 Your mind buzzed with the memory of Coriolanus's words on your way home, the word "familiar" haunting your thoughts. It felt like a dismissal, a reduction of their friendship to something insignificant. As she arrived home late, a pit settled in your stomach. you could hear the muffled sounds of your family enjoying dinner as you entered. Trying to avoid disturbing them, you tiptoed towards the staircase, hoping to slip upstairs unnoticed.
But before you could reach safety, your mother's voice rang out, calling your name and inviting you to join them for dinner. you hesitated, torn between the desire to retreat to your room and the expectation of familial obligation. Sighing softly, you reluctantly changed course and descended the stairs, preparing to join your family for the evening meal.
As you descended the stairs into the dining room, a familiar scene unfolded before you. Quincy occupied the head of the table, with her mother to his right and Benjamin and Charlotte to his left. A moment of contemplation hung in the air as you debated where to sit—next to your mother or at the other end.
"Are you just gonna stand there, gawking, or are you going to come eat?" Quincy's demanding voice broke your hesitation. Opting for the other end, you replied, "Of course, my apologies."
Your mother called for Christa to make a plate for you, but you insisted you weren't hungry. Quincy, however, wasn't having it. "Eat," he commanded, and as your food was brought out, you sat, toying with it but not taking a bite.
A moment of familial chatter ensued, with Charlotte excitedly recounting her visit to the zoo and interaction with the tributes. Despite the unpleasant surprise of seeing them on television, you didn't want to upset Charlotte. You smiled and replied, "Yes, I actually saw you guys on television. I almost thought I was losing my mind." you chuckled, attempting to downplay the unsettling encounter. Benjamin opened his mouth to speak it was cut off, Quincy's commanding voice cut through the conversation, demanding an explanation for your absence from class. Tension hung in the air as Quincy pressed you about where you had been.
"I was with Dr. Gual. I'm assisting with the Hunger Games this year, and I plan on studying under her when I go to University," you explained, trying to diffuse the situation.
"University," Quincy scoffed, his tone dismissive. "And who's supposed to pay for that, hmm?" he added, the underlying tension in his voice hinting at a deeper frustration.
"I thought you would, but if you're unable to provide for your family like a real man, then I can apply for a scholarship," you replied, your tone steady, offering Quincy a small smile. The room grew tense, and your mother stopped eating, recognizing the brewing storm in her husband's eyes.
"Darling, plea—" your mother began, but Quincy cut her off abruptly. "Out," he commanded, jaw clenched. The twins exchanged perplexed looks, and even Benjamin voiced his disappointment about missing dessert. However, Quincy's anger brought no compromise."Out, everyone!" Quincy bellowed, slamming his fist on the table. The atmosphere hung heavy with tension, and as the rest of the family filed out of the room, you and Quincy locked eyes. The lingering echo of his anger filled the room as she remained, refusing to avert her gaze.
Quincy's fury simmered as the rest of the family left the room, leaving him alone with you. "You think you're so smart, don't you?" Quincy sneered, his voice dripping with disdain. "Just like your father—thinking he was better than everyone. Look where that got him." your heart sank at the mention of your father, a wound that never quite healed. you felt a surge of anger, but held your ground, meeting Quincy's gaze. "He stood for something," you retorted, your voice steady. "More than I can say for you."
Quincy's face contorted in rage, his eyes ablaze with fury. He threw his chair back and made his way toward you, grabbing you by the hair and forcing you to look at him.
"You ungrateful little—" Quincy began, but you interrupted him defiantly. "Ungrateful little what, Quincy? Say it. Go ahead. What are you going to do, hit me? Does that make you feel like a man, Quincy? Is that why you do it, because you keep trying to be something you're not?" you said, grinning up at him with a mixture of defiance and disdain. The air crackled with tension as you locked eyes, both refusing to back down.
Quincy's rage reached its peak as he slammed your head against the table. For a moment, everything went blurry, and a persistent ringing filled your ears. "You never know when to shut your mouth, do you?" he growled, finally letting go of your hair and storming out of the dining room.
you lay there, the terrible ringing still echoing in your head. You knew it would surely leave a bruise by morning. Christa rushed into the dining room in concern. "Oh no, mistress, are you alright? Please, we must get you cleaned up."
You let out a pitiful laugh. "Leave me, Christa. I can get up by myself. I just need a second." That was the last thing you remembered before closing your eyes, allowing the darkness to envelop you.
Tumblr media
The next morning was agonizing; you hoped that the events from the previous night had only resulted in a simple bruise, one you could cover up easily. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The impact with the table had left a gash just above your hairline, making concealing the injury more challenging.With your face partially obscured, you bypassed the usual routine of heading to school. Instead, you made your way straight to the lab to seek ointment from Dr. Gual. The eccentric doctor was the only adult you felt you could turn to without facing a barrage of questions. Dr. Gual didn't pry; she already knew the reasons behind your frequent visits, evident in the all-too-familiar signs of physical abuse that lingered beneath her attempts to conceal them. After a brief visit to Dr. Gual for treatment, you headed to the morning seminar led by Professor Crispus Demigloss. By the time you arrived, you were already late. However, Professor Demigloss, being elderly and deliberate in his pace, hadn't progressed far into roll call. Handing him a pass signed by Dr. Gual, you were permitted to enter. As you scanned the room for an open seat, only two caught your eye. One was on the other side of Sejanus, who was seated next to Coriolanus. As your eyes locked, a mixture of pity and concern flashed in Coriolanus's gaze. The other option was beside Felix, who gave her a warm smile and motioned for her to join him. On any other day, she would have gravitated towards Coriolanus and Sejanus. However, something within you sought comfort, something she doubted she'd find with Coriolanus. Thus, you chose the seat next to Felix, who beamed with delight as you approached.
Felix flashed a charming grin as you settled into the seat beside him, leaning closer to whisper in your ear. " If I'd known I'd get such a delightful neighbor, I might've arrived late too," he teased.
you couldn't help but grin at his playful remark. "Oh, please, I'm sure you're used to the spotlight. But I must say, it's not a bad seat with such good company," you countered, matching his flirtatious tone with a hint of amusement.
As the lesson began, Felix leaned in quietly and asked, "Why are you late?" "I'm not late," you responded with a playful wink. "I'm right on time."
Despite your attempt to engage with the lesson, sleep still weighed heavily on your eyes.
A small yawn escaped you, and, in a moment of fatigue, you leaned closer to Felix, resting your head on his shoulder. In a fluid movement, he wrapped an arm around you, pulling you closer and placing a light kiss on your temple.
A mix of conflicting emotions washed over you. There was a pang of guilt for using Felix in this way, giving him hope for something more when you knew it might never happen. The desire for comfort, for the feeling of being held and loved, battled with the awareness that you were manipulating the situation. Yet, in this moment of vulnerability, you craved the illusion of control that it provided, a small semblance of order in a life that felt increasingly chaotic.
As Professor Demigloss delved into the discussion about the Games, you felt the burning intensity of Coriolanus's gaze directed at you. His eyes shot daggers, and though he appeared displeased, you couldn't bring yourself to care. He had his little songbird, and you had Felix. There was no reason for him to be mad at you. Matching his glare with your own, neither of you looked away until the professor interrupted.
Sejanus’s  hand went up directly. “Ah, Sejanus?” “Before we talk about making people watch, shouldn’t we begin with the question of whether or not watching is the right thing to do?” he said. Making you roll your eyes
“Let’s stay on topic, please,” the professor urged. Festus Creed then offered his perspective, suggesting making it a legal requirement for people to watch the Games. You couldn't help but think it was an idiotic proposal, as forcing people to watch would negate the purpose of the games.“What happens if you don’t watch?” asked Clemensia, not bothering to raise her hand. “In the districts, we execute you. In the Capitol, we make you move to the districts, and if you mess up again next year, then we execute you,” Festus cheerfully replied.
The class laughed, but soon serious contemplation followed. Ideas about enforcing the watching requirement were discussed, with random sampling and punishments being considered. Clemensia voiced her disdain, stating that the gruesome nature of the Games made people avoid watching. Sejanus, ever the idealist, interjected, “Of course they do! Who wants to watch a group of children kill each other? Only a vicious, twisted person. Human beings may not be perfect, but we’re better than that.” Livia challenged him, questioning how he knew what Capitol citizens wanted to watch, especially given his absence during the war. Lysistrata Vickers added, “Most of us don’t want to watch other people suffer.”
“We watched worse things during the war. And after,” you reminded Lysistrata, sitting up straight now. There had been some bloody stuff broadcast over the airwaves during the Dark Days, and many brutal executions after the Treaty of Treason had been signed. Opinions varied on caring about the Games. Some thought the tributes were unimportant, while others didn't care at all. Betting on the tributes was brought up as a way to make the Games more interesting. you saw potential in this idea and wrote it down for discussion with Dr. Gaul later.
After class, you went for lunch off-campus with Felix before heading to the lab. Your mood dampened upon seeing Dean Highbottom there. As the other students entered, you couldn't help but wonder about the dean's frequent presence in the lab lately. Dr. Gaul prodded at her experiments until the class settled. She greeted them with one of her rhymes, leaving the students bewildered. As she collected questionnaires, a small laugh escaped you."I'm Dr. Gaul, the Head Gamemaker, and I will be mentoring your mentorships," she announced, flipping through the papers. She frowned and held up Coriolanus's questionnaire. "This is what you were asked to do. Thank you, Mr. Snow. Now, what happened to the rest of you?" Coriolanus spoke up, sharing his experiences. "I had good luck with my tribute. She's a talker. But most of the kids wouldn't communicate. And even my girl can't see the point of making an effort at the interview." Sejanus chimed in, questioning the purpose of making an effort when the ultimate fate was the arena.
Dr. Gaul turned her attention to him. "You're the boy who fed the tributes. Why did you do it?" you knew Sejanus held a disdain for the Games, something you had mentioned to Dr. Gaul. He hesitated but stood firm.
"They were starving. We're going to kill them; do we have to torture them ahead of time as well?" Dr. Gaul labeled him a rebel sympathizer and acknowledged his disapproval of the Hunger Games. Sejanus suggested he be replaced, but she dismissed the idea with a chuckle, stating compassion was key to the Games. Sejanus's face fell, but he didn't argue back. You were genuinely surprised. He proved to be tougher than he looked, willing to challenge Dr. Gaul even at the risk of his position.
Dr. Gaul sparked an idea about involving the audience in the Games by allowing them to send food to the tributes in the arena.
This suggestion intrigued the class, with Festus even expressing interest in betting on the tributes he fed. Dr. Gaul instructed the students to collaborate and draft a proposal for this concept, hinting that she might consider implementing their ideas. Livia, surprised at the possibility of their ideas being used, questioned Dr. Gaul's intentions. Dr. Gaul, unfazed, explained that young minds often bring idealism and creativity. She shared that Dean Highbottom, in his youth, had conceptualized the Hunger Games as a theoretical idea. Despite the skepticism, Dr. Gaul encouraged the students to submit their proposal by the next morning.
Dr. Gaul had to leave for a meeting, advising you to prepare for the next day as there would be a lot of work. Confused, you asked about the plans for tomorrow. Dr. Gaul hinted that you would be the one to approve the proposals. Surprised by this responsibility, you felt a rush of excitement, smiling as you left, feeling eager for tomorrow.

Living In A Dream | Levi x Reader Pining
masterlist
Summary: Levi refuses to date a subordinate so instead he pines over you. Kind of ridiculous how much he overthinks every interaction with you.
Word Count: 2.6k
Author's Note: Song that I correlate this one shot is "Dream Girl" by Crisaunt if you were wondering. In all writing, I typically get hung up on a lyric or a rhythm thing. 2nd fic. posted: 4/17/24. Writing more.
Levi and the other section commanders sat at a table dining and chattering about the new scouts. Erwin was discussing, negotiating, and dividing the recruits under different leaders. A few went to Levi, some under Miche, and some to Hange.
The scout regiment was having dinner and he was looking around the room for you. He noticed that you have not come in yet. You usually were with Sasha, Jean, and Connie and they were not at dinner yet. Sasha, Jean, and Connie were moved to Levi’s special operations squad. Honestly, he was worried that you would be placed in his squad. Levi felt that if you were his subordinate, he wouldn’t be able to focus or speak clearly.
When you were around, he was too nervous that he might say something that made him seem stupid. The few times you talked to him, he stuttered and felt embarrassed. Levi could not help but look at you all the time. He could not help but search for you during mealtime or outside. He thought you were pretty cute when you would laugh with Sasha, Jean, and Connie. He also thought it was cool how you could make a whole table laugh. He felt it was wrong to find you extremely attractive. Levi pondered about possibly asking you out if you became a squad leader or section commander.
The first time he heard of you, was when Hange showed Levi and Erwin a hilarious comic drawing you drew. The comic was being passed around and shown amongst the scouts getting a little laugh from others. It was funny and relatable to being a scout.
“A new scout drew this,” Hange said to Levi and Erwin. The drawing made Erwin chuckle and he passed it to Levi who slightly smiled.
“Who was the scout?” Erwin asked.
“I think her name is Y/N,” Hange said and pointed to the open field where the scouts were hanging out. “That’s her over there next to Sasha and Christa.” Erwin and Levi glanced in your direction. Levi noticed your hair and then your laugh, then you pushing Sasha. Who shoved you back and the girls laughed at whatever. Your smile is what drew him in.
You had a great smile and the few times you smiled at him when speaking he would forget what he was saying. Then he recalled and then stuttered out his words. When Levi noticed the confusion on your face it made his face hotter. You never pointed it out or asked if he was okay which made him think you were kind enough to ignore his embarrassment.
The other time you made him really nervous was the day he wore a dark green shirt. Levi barely wore green unless it was the scout cape. But he did that day. Hange and Levi were walking by you and you pleasantly greeted them.
“Hi Hange, hi Levi,” you said brightly.
“Hi Y/N!” Hange greeted back.
“Levi, I’ve never seen you wear that shirt before,” you started and Hange smiled and looked at Levi, “green is your color.” You and Hange smiled and looked intently for Levi’s reply. He was taken aback by the compliment. When was the last time he heard a compliment about his appearance? He thought that maybe you found him attractive. Though did you really say anything about his looks? Then he remembered that you pointed out that you had never seen him wear this shirt before. Which he came to the conclusion that you may have been watching him as well? Which could mean you liked him. He knows that people do that when they find others attractive. Levi looked at you a lot when you’re not looking. Possibly you’re observant. Which is a great quality for being a scout. He thought he recalled seeing your file that you scored great during the ODM assessment. He wondered what rank you were. Not that it mattered but he was curious. Then he remembered how the green shirt he was wearing was the shirt he wore on his first expedition. Has Y/N been outside the walls yet? He was trying to recall if he remembered seeing you at all before knowing you as the comic drawer.
“Levi?” Hange asked.
“S-sorry I’m not feeling well. I feel like shit.” As soon as he said that he regretted it because he knows sometimes girls don’t find cussing attractive. If cussing made him unattractive then does him wearing the green shirt level it out? Though you never said you found him attractive. Just that green was his color. But no one owns the color green. But the way you said green was his color could be interpreted as looking good in green. Levi was trying to think about if he ever heard you cussing before. Then he remembered your comic he was trying to remember if any of the captions had a bad word. He couldn’t remember. Maybe he won't cuss in front of you until he hears you cuss. Maybe you cuss sporadically. Or maybe just when you stub your toe. He thought about how you possibly paint your toes. But he won't know because the uniform has boots. If the cape is the same color as his shirt technically he wore green every day. So that could mean that you never look at Levi. But sometimes Levi doesn’t wear his cape. Maybe you meant that the shirt he was wearing was nice. But then again you didn’t say anything about the shirt itself. If green is Levi’s color and he barely wore the green shirt that had to mean you were talking about the cape.
“Oh no, I’m sorry.” You said sweetly.
“No problem,” Levi said back stupidly. After all that Hange and Levi had a moment’s silence while walking away from you. Then Hange softly laughed.
“Levi that was painful to watch.” She said.
“What do you mean?” Levi asked.
“Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Except you couldn’t think straight after Y/N said you looked nice.” Hange nudged Levi. Technically you told him that green was his color. He didn’t want to talk about it at all.
“Really Hange I’m not feeling good.” Levi restated.
“You love sick?” Hange teased.
“No. And no I am not.”
“Well, you were normal until Y/N complimented you,” Hange continued. Levi deflected and brought up a different topic. You did not compliment him though you just said green was his color.
“Lastly F/N L/N,” Erwin said and Levi stopped looking at the dining entrance. “At first, Levi, I put her on your squad but H—”
“Levi I really want her! She seemed really interested in my research! Y/N gets along with Moblit’s and I's work style! Not only that she can draw! She sketched a titan chart for me really well! I saw that Erwin was going to put her on your squad and when I asked if I could have her he said we would have to discuss it! I really want her!” Hange enthusiastically said. Levi felt bittersweet about you not working with Hange and Moblit. He could still have access to you, but not always be around you. His nerves went away.
“Have her,” Levi said.
“THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!” Hange threw her arms in the air. Levi saw out of the corner of his eye that the entry door opened and his heart rate increased slightly when he saw Sasha. Then Jean. Then Connie. And finally you. You met eyes with Levi and he immediately whipped his head back. Hange, Erwin, Miche, and Moblit all noticed Levi was blushing. He met eyes with Hange who raised her eyebrows twice, playfully. He knew that she knew he was blushing. Levi refused to look at anything besides his tea. “Y/N!” Hange called for you. “Y/N!” She waved you over which you came. Levi thought it would be a good excuse to look at you especially since Hange called you over. So most likely the whole table would be looking at you. He glanced at you and caught your eye again, but this time you looked away. “Guess what!?” Hange exclaimed
“What?” You asked
“You’re in my squad!”
“No way!”
“This is gonna be really great! We’re going to figure out the secrets of the titans together! I really wanted you especially since you told me you were interested in researching the titans! Moblit also enjoys working with you so this is really great!” Hange and Moblit gave you a group hug. You had a big smile on your face. Levi thought about how endearing it was that you and Hange were becoming quite close. He wished you two could be close.
After you left to get food. Levi noticed you also got the mashed potatoes. He liked the mashed potatoes too. You put gravy on yours. Levi did the same too. Cool. Levi saw you say something to Connie and then Jean, Sasha, and Connie all burst out laughing. He wished he heard what you said. He thought about how everyone he sees you with always are enjoying your company.
The following day Levi decided to wear the green shirt and wanted to walk by you so you could see him wearing it. He saw you later in the day with Hange and Moblit on a bench. He thought it would be a great opportunity to approach you because Hange was with you and he knows she could mediate the conversation. You were so pretty because of the way your hair was placed on your shoulders. So cute how focused you were on your research. When Levi approached the three they all looked up and smiled.
“Hey,” Levi said to Hange and Moblit, “hi Y/N.” Hange and Moblit looked at each other knowingly. Then Hange smirked at Levi.
“Hey Levi,” you said.
“How are y-you?” He tried.
“We’re so close to getting somewhere but I keep fucking up my drawing.” You said frustratingly. Levi noted that you did cuss. This meant the time he cussed you must not have cared because you just cussed now. So he can cuss in front of you and you won't find him unattractive. Meaning maybe if he got to know you more and if you worked hard and then you became a section commander one day and you were still alive, then he could ask you out.
“Oh fuck,” he said.
“Yeah I know,” you roll your eyes with frustration.
“NO! Your drawing is great!” Levi vomited out.
“Oh um . . . you haven’t even seen it yet . . .” You said slowly. Then Moblit handed Levi the paper of the start of your drawing. Hange and Moblit were done evaluating the work she had done so far. Levi’s face went red. There’s no explanation for this. You were going to figure out that him showering you with compliments meant he had a crush on you. Which is not good because you are a subordinate and it wouldn’t look good if you two dated. He thought about how well you two would make a cute couple together but what would the others think? Erwin might think Levi is a sleaze for dating someone not in his rank. He thought that some scouts might think you were trying to work your way up to the top. He didn’t want anyone to think poorly of you. Levi didn’t want anyone to think poorly of him. This was just a stupid crush and eventually, he will get over it. He’s an adult he shouldn’t be acting like a schoolgirl with a crush.
“I show Levi all your drawings.” Hange saved the day.
“All . . . two . . . of them?” You questioned not entirely believing Hange. Hange and Levi locked eyes. They panicked. Levi did not know what to add. Hange’s temperature started rising. If Hange said anything that would give you the impression that Levi had a crush on you. Then humanity’s strongest soldier might kill her. Then she wouldn’t be able to be alive to find out where the titans are from. Hange wouldn’t be able to know how they came to be. And Levi could make it look like an accident. Levi could also make it look like she went missing. He used to be a criminal and Levi kills every titan he wants to kill.
“We saw your comic and we kept all the sketches you created the few times you were with us. Everyone thinks your drawings are great. Right, section commander? You shown the leaders all of Y/N’s drawings?” Moblit said.
“Yup,” Hange said quickly.
“Anyways I have to go—um—go. Just wanted to say hi to you—all of you!” Levi walked away. He’s an idiot.
During his meeting with his squad, he did his best to confidently create plans for the next expedition. He was trying to think of all the creative plans he could muster so that he could say it in front of Sasha, Jean, and Connie. Then they would think Levi was smart. They might talk about their day later with you and they could possibly slip in that Levi created a smart plan. He just couldn’t think of a smart thing to offer. Armin was saying all the smart ideas. Levi’s gotta say something smart. Because if he doesn’t then Sasha, Jean, and Connie might only talk about Armin’s smart ideas when they talk about their day with you.
Later in the evening, Levi saw Sasha, Jean, and Connie sitting at their table with friends, but you were nowhere to be found. You must be with Hange and Moblit in her office. Time went by and still you, Hange, nor Moblit showed up. It was getting late and he thought you would think he was kind if he brought food for you. They had mashed potatoes and gravy as a side again. So when Levi was making you a plate. He was sure to put some mashed potatoes and gravy on it. But this time there was beef gravy and turkey gravy. There were two gravies. He stared at both of them. Which one would you like more? The beef gravy was the one available last night. But what if they don’t serve turkey gravy again for a while and you were looking forward to it? Okay. Beef? Yes, it makes the most sense you had some last night. Then Levi thought about if he ever heard you mentioning liking the turkey gravy. Turkey? Seems to come around less often and he didn’t want you to be disappointed with your dinner. Okay, Both. He made sure to put the two gravies in separate little cups so you could choose which one you wanted.
He took the plate to Hange’s office and his hunch was correct. You, Hange, and Moblit were in Hange’s office working.
“Hey, Levi.” You said.
“I—uh—brought you food because you weren’t at dinner.” Okay shit. He just told her that he noticed her not being in the dining hall. Which is going to mean that she knows he’s looking for her and then she’ll—WAIT. When you said he looked good in green you mentioned that you’ve never seen him wear that shirt before. Meaning you were watching him. He just said something like that too . . . She said it first. So she won’t think anything of it? Cool.
“Thank you, Levi!” You said. “You didn’t have to.”
Levi smiled and then looked at Hange who had her arms crossed and her eyebrows raised with a knowingly look. Moblit had the same expression on his face.
“It’s for all you guys!” Levi blurted out.
“Oh um . . . I don’t think there’s enough for us to share.” You said.
“ . . . I brought both gravies,” Levi said.

Not trying to sound mean but didn’t Shu connect the dots before Ayato about Karl Heinz being the root of all evil?
// No, he didn’t—
Alright, let me explain: We, the viewers/players, already knew about Karl’s plan before DF, but his sons only thought of him as a neglectful husband and father. Subaru must have known from Christa that Karl is a bad person, given that she broke due to him and kept saying stuff about him ruining her purity; Laito definitely thought negatively of Karlheinz since his childhood; Kanato had the least interactions with him but most likely saw him as neglectful; Reiji respected him the most; Shu didn’t find him horrible yet still a bad dad, and Ayato thought he was a trashy father but not evil.
Back to Shu and Ayato, there’s a difference between straight up being told about it (just like Carla told Shu) and then reflecting upon those words, and quickly solving a mystery by yourself (like Ayato did).
In Ayato’s DF route, after Cordelia confessed that, Yui merely deduced that Karlheinz didn’t love her back. If we were in Yui’s place, I believe we would have thought the same, because that’s what Cordelia’s words appear to indicate. However, let’s all admit that Ayato definitely was BIG BRAIN here. He literally thought ahead and connected the dots about Karl being the root of all evil from a statement that barely served as enough evidence for that. Shu is smart but this one— this was AYATO’S moment.

PREVIOUSLY ON TWD:
Y/N: We need to find a group. People we can trust. We've been on our own for too long.
Christa: Trust? You think you can trust someone out here? Not now. Not anymore.
~
Stranger: Out here alone? In the middle of nowhere? But we haven't met anyone yet. How many people are you with?
Christa: I'm by myself!
Christa, run!
~
Christa, are you there?
~
"Sam". Well, nice to meet you, Sam.
Oh my God. Thank you! Look, Sam, a can!
It's okay. He's dead. Look, you can see the bite. Looks like he tried to cut it out.
But that never works...
~
I guess you're pretty hungry too.
Here ya go.
Hey! Don't eat it all.
~
I'm... I'm sorry, Sam.
~
Stranger: I'm out! Grab her, let's go!
Now, on The Walking Dead:
ManWithBow: I'm out! Grab her, let's go!
ManWithMachete: Come on, girl. We gotta get.
The man with the machete picks me up and carries me in his arms. They run through the forest past the approaching walkers. Once they outrun the threat, they slow down.
ManWithBow: I think... I think we're safe.
ManWithMachete: Yeah... yeah, we're good. Hey, you alright...?
Y/N: I... I think so.
ManWithBow: What are you doing out here?
ManWithMachete: Where are the, uh... the people you're with?
ManWithBow: I don't want them thinkin' we're doin' anything but tryin' to help you. Hmm... not sure how the group is gonna feel about another mouth to feed.
Y/N: My friend and I got attacked.
They will remember that.
ManWithBow: Hmm... these folks mention what they were after?
Y/N: They might've just wanted food. We were cooking some sort of weasel.
ManWithMachete: They attacked you for a weasel? Damn. That is low.
ManWithBow: They might've attacked you for a different reason. Were these a group of men?
I nod my head yes.
ManWithBow: Yeah... Usually men like that- ... They might not have wanted the weasel.
My stomach turns remembering that moment. I was almost caught by that man. God knows what he would have done... What... could have happened to Christa. I start to tear up and become visibly upset.
ManWithMachete: Lets not think about that, okay? And trust that we're not trying to do anything similar... Anyways- They didn't mention any names, right? They weren't searching for anybody?
I shake my head no and try to calm myself.
ManWithBow: Hmm.
Luke: Well, I'm Luke, and this is Pete.
Pete: Hey there.
Y/N: Hi. I'm Y/n.
Luke: It's nice to meet you, Y/n. For now, we're gonna take you back to our group, okay? We got a doctor with us, and you look like you could use some-- ... Oh, shit...
Luke notices the blood on my sleeve and nearly drops me. He readjusts his grip on me, and gently places me on my feet as he stares at my arm wide-eyed.
Pete: What? What is it?
Luke: She's... she's been bit, man. Fuck! Fuck, fuck, fuck, what are we gonna do here?
Pete: Hmm...
Y/N: No! It was a dog!
Pete: I didn't see any dog, Y/n.
Luke: Come on, look, we just saw you with those lurkers back there!
Pete: I can't remember the last time I saw a dog.
Luke: So what do we do now?
They talk to each other as if I'm not standing right in front of them.
Y/N: No! Guys it really was a dog! I'm not lying!
Luke: Look, I want to believe you... but I gotta believe my own two eyes first... and I didn't see no dog around.
Y/N: No! It was from before!
Pete: Hmm... alright. Let's see it.
Luke: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hey, watch yourself.
I glare at Luke.
Luke: Hey, don't look at me like that! You're the one that's bit here, okay?
Pete helps me roll up my sleeve.
Y/N: See?
Luke: Is it, uh... is it like she says?
Pete: Hmm... well, could be a dog. Hard to say. So where'd this "dog" go? The one that did this.
Luke: Now, what... what does this matter, Pete? Seriously.
Pete: I wanna know how believable her story is.
Y/N: I... I killed it.
Luke: What? Really? A dog shows up and bites you and you just kill it?
Pete: What would you have done?
Luke: I don't know!
Y/N: It attacked me! I had to fight it off, and then... It got impaled on some spikes. We were at a campsite, so I believe it fell on top of some tent stakes... Seriously guys. I ended his suffering!
Luke: That's... That's a lot to take in. Are you really not making this up?
Pete: Y/n? You tellin' us the truth? You look me in the eyes when you answer.
Y/N: Yes.
Pete: Hmm. Alright, Y/n. That's good enough for me.
Luke: Sigh. Yeah but, what else was she gonna say?
Pete: I've got a good bullshit detector, Luke. That's why you can never beat me at poker.
Luke: scoffs You don't always beat me at... Alright, how can you be sure? I want to believe her but... y'know after everything- Nick ain't gonna like this... Not with what happened to--
Pete: You don't have to remind me of that, boy.
Luke: Right. Sorry, sir.
Pete pats Luke's shoulder.
Pete: Come on. Y/n, are you feelin' alright?
Y/N: I'm fine. Just... tired.
Luke: I'd carry you the rest of the way but... I'm sure you understand.
Y/N: Don't worry about...
That's when my head feels tingly, and my vision slowly fades black.
Luke: Ah, shit.
~
I eventually wake up on the ground... There's a whole group of people gathered around me. They're all arguing with each other.
ManWithRifle: Don't you tell me that! Not with what fuckin' happened.
PregnantWoman: Would someone mind telling me what the fuck is going on here?
Pete: Now hold on, Rebecca.
ManWithRifle: We got this, don't worry.
Rebecca: Like hell you do. Did anyone even think to ask where she came from? For all we know, she could be working with Carver!
Pete: She already told us that she and her friend were attacked. Then she was bitten by a dog.
Rebecca: What? And you just believed her? You should've put her out of her misery right there. Dog bite, my ass.
Y/N: I'm not wor--
The man with the rifle fires at the ground near me. I gasp and freeze in place. The shot was inches away from me. But by the look of it, I don't think he intended to shoot at me...
HeavyMan: What the...?
Pete rips the gun out of his hands.
Pete: Keep your finger off the trigger, boy!
Luke opens the door and runs outside to join the rest of the group.
Luke: Whoa, whoa, what the fuck Nick?!
Rebecca: You idiot! Every lurker for five miles probably heard that!
Nick: You're the one tellin' me to fuckin' shoot her!
HeavyMan: Everybody, just calm down for a second!
Luke: Y/n, you okay?
Y/N: I'm not... I'm not working for anyone. I don't know what you're talking about. I just need help.
Luke: We got a doctor right here, okay? He'll have a look. Now what the hell is wrong with you people?! Okay, she's just scared!
Rebecca: We're all scared, Luke. Don't act like we're the ones being irrational 'cause we don't buy this bullshit story.
Nick: No way she survived out here on her own! Why are we even arguing about this?!
Another man joins the group.
ManWithAccent: Let me take a look.
I draw back and away from the man in fear as he promptly heads towards me.
Luke: It's okay. Go ahead. He's a doctor.
I roll up my sleeve.
HeavyMan: Damn, that must've hurt.
The doctor inspects the wound.
Doctor: Hmm. Whatever it was, it got you good.
Nick: This isn't how we do things, man. When you're bit, you get put down. End of story. I'm not going through this again.
Luke: No one's suggestin' that.
Pete: We could take her arm off.
I gasp. Immediately, I think of Lee, and how it didn't work for him...
Rebecca: It won't do any good. You'll just be makin' it worse for the girl.
HeavyMan: It's crazy. No one's gonna volunteer to do that.
Luke: I would. If it means saving her life.
Nick: Then what? How would we know it worked?
Luke: I- L-Let's just let Carlos have a look first!
I stare sadly at Luke, in hopes to appeal to him. He seems to have a good say in things.
Luke: Hey, look I'm on your side. I'm trying my best here.
A girl from inside the cabin opens the front door and peeks through it.
Girl: Who's she?
Carlos: Sarah, what'd I say? Stay inside.
Sarah closes the door.
Y/N: I don't mean to be any trouble. I just want to stop the bleeding and then I'll go. You'll never see me again, I promise.
Carlos: And where exactly would you go?
Y/N: To find my friend Christa.
Nick: Forget it. You won't get five feet.
Luke: Look, I may be in the minority here, but my gut tells me she's telling the truth. It probably is just a dog bite. Probably...
Nick: Of course you want to believe it. I'm sure you've got plenty of ideas in your head about her.
Luke: What? Shut the fuck up man? She's a kid! The fuck is wrong with you?
I look up at Luke with confusion.
Y/N: I'm not a kid?...
Nick: There ya go.
Luke: You're?- Man doesn't matter she's a small girl who is HURT. That's not how I'm thinkin' right now.
I'm still lost at what they're talking about, but I just forget about it.
Carlos gets up and returns to the group.
HeavyMan: So? What do you think?
Nick: Was it a lurker?
Carlos: A bite like that... could be anything. Only one way to find out.
Pete: How?
Carlos: We wait.
Rebecca: What?!
Carlos: By tomorrow morning, if the fever's set in, we'll know if she's gonna turn. In the meantime, we can lock her in the shed.
Y/N: What about my arm? It needs to get cleaned, and stitched, and bandaged!
Luke: The girl's in bad shape, Carlos.
HeavyMan: We have all that stuff inside the cabin, we could probably get by with...
Rebecca: Alvin, please...
Alvin: But, yeah, we can't do nothing.
Carlos: I'm not wasting supplies on a lurker bite. If it turns out you're telling the truth, I'll clean it and stitch it up for you in the morning.
Y/N: But...
Carlos walks away. I shudder... Just thinking about the night I'm going to have... No way I'll survive it!
Luke: I'm sorry. It's the best we're gonna get.
Pete offers the rifle to Nick, and he grabs it out of his hands.
Pete: Finger off the trigger, son.
Nick: I ain't your son.
Luke: Don't be like that, man.
Pete: It's alright. Boy's got his mom's temper.
Nick: Come on.
Nick, Luke, and I walk away.
Rebecca: This is just a waste of time. You'll see. And when she turns, I ain't gonna be the one cleanin' up the shed.
As we're walking, I'm holding my arm in pain.
Luke: Look, hold out the best you can, Y/n. And we'll see what's what in the morning.
We reach the shed; Luke opens the door and we exchange a sad glance. I walk into the shed and Luke closes the doors behind me. I can hear Luke and Nick talking from outside the door.
Luke: Why are we doing this? It's so dumb. It looked like a dog bite.
Nick: It's safer this way. And better she turns in there than in the cabin where we SLEEP.
Luke: Whatever man, go. I'll lock up the shed.
Y/N: I can't believe this... You're gonna be fine, you're gonna be fine.
Luke: Y/n. I'm sorry, I tried. Just hang in there.
Before I can respond, I hear him walk away.
I look around at my surroundings. I might as well get comfortable in here... I see an anchor on the wall. Looks sharp... To my right is a tool board. But nothing of use. It's pretty much empty. On the table in front of it is a vice.
...
Definitely glad they decided not to take my arm off...
I search a barrel but it's empty. Then I find a tackle box.
Y/N: Not much left in here...
I find fishing line inside the box.
Y/N: I guess if I have to, I can use this for stitches.
There's a shelf but it's too high up for me to reach. There's a hammer on it... I try jumping to reach it but end up pushing it further out of my reach...
I see a wooden board on the wall next to the shelf. I unfold the table and climb onto it. I reach for the hammer, but the shelf collapses. I fall straight onto my bite... It knocks the wind out of me, the amount of pain... My adrenaline takes over and my mind sets on getting this hammer. I lift the board up and off of the hammer beneath it.
There's a visible hole in the wall, but it's boarded up with wood. Good use for the hammer. I pry open the board, and kick the panel open. I quickly crawl through the hole in the wall and notice a nearby walker.
Y/N: They have a doctor...he's gotta have stuff for stitches.
I observe the cabin, making sure its safe to approach
Y/N: It's pretty safe in there...could be a good place to stitch up my arm.
I sneak up to the house and see a window with silhouettes moving from inside. I decide to listen in at the window.
Rebecca: It makes me feel like a fucking idiot when we're not on the same page.
Alvin: We are on the same page!
Rebecca: Not out there, we weren't! Not about the girl! I saw you get soft!
Alvin: What do you want me to do, Bec? Put a bullet in her?
Rebecca: I want you to think about our family first.
Alvin: It's all I think about. So don't give me any shit.
Rebecca: I need some air.
Rebecca leaves the room.
I knock on the glass, and Alvin opens the window.
Alvin: What the hell are you doing?
Y/N: I... I need your help.
Alvin: Me? No. I'm sorry, but I can't do nothin'. Y/N: Please. I need to fix my arm.
Alvin: Are you out of your mind? Even if you ain't bitten by some lurker, which you probably are, you can't be here! You gotta get out of here, you understand? Get back into that shed and Carlos'll take care of you in the morning. Damn it, girl. Go.
Y/N: You'd just let me die?
Alvin: I wouldn't let you do nothing. It's not my call. We're a group.
Y/N: But you could help. And if you don't, isn't that the same?
Alvin will remember that.
Alvin: I don't know, alright?
Alvin looks behind him, checking the door.
Alvin: I'm serious girl, you need to get out of here.
Y/N: I saw when everyone was arguing, you wanted to help.
Alvin: You didn't see anything. Look, you gotta get outta here before my wife finds you. I'm serious, you gotta go. I got enough problems already. We got a baby on the way, Rebecca's all emotional, got a mess of hormones causing all sorts of trouble. I don't need anymore, get it? Now go.
Y/N: Please help. Please...
Alvin:Don't cry.
Y/N: I'm not gonna cry. I'm just... tired.
Alvin: You're not with Carver?
Y/N: No.
Alvin: And you didn't get bit by a dead person?
Y/N: No!
Alvin contemplates.
Y/N: I'll do anything I can to help your situation. Anything.
Alvin: Except leave me alone.
Y/N: Yeah, I guess. Alvin: I'm screwed if anyone finds out I did this. You understand?
Y/N: The b... the cut on my arm needs to be cleaned and stitched.
Alvin: Stitched? I ain't doin' that.
Y/N: I'll figure it out on my own.
Alvin: Alright, look... I don't know what I can find. We're short on bandages, but I might be able to find something clean that would work.
Y/N: I need something to clean it with, and a needle and thread could help, too.
Alvin: I don't even know where to look. Carlos has medical supplies on lockdown, and we don't got much these days.
Y/N: Well, whatever you can get. I'll find the rest on my own.
Alvin: Okay. Wait here.
Alvin leaves and returns shortly afterward.
Alvin: I found you some bandages. And I, uh... I got you a juice box. In case you're thirsty.
Alvin hands me the bandages and juice box. How old do these people think I am? I am grateful for the juice anyways...
Y/N: Thank you.
From the other side of the bedroom door, I can hear Carlos,
Carlos: Alvin, house meeting in five minutes.
Alvin: Oh, okay. Thanks. Now you need to go.
Alvin closes the window and leaves.
Though I have the bandages, that won't do. I need a needle and peroxide... I crouch and sneak around the side of the cabin. I end up in the backyard, and see another board of wood covering up a hole. It's covering an entrance to underneath the house... Maybe there's a way in from under?
I try to pull the plywood, but fail. I use the hammer to remove the nails, successfully. I then move the plywood. I crouch further and walk underneath the foundation of the house.
I finally reach a trapdoor. But when I try to open the door, it doesn't budge. It's locked.
I take my knife out of my pocket and use it to open the trapdoor, but the blade breaks. At least, it opens the lock... I then enter the house quietly.
Carlos: I've already made my decision.
Pete: Well, Luke has more to say, I guess. Where's Sarah?
Carlos: She's got her book. She doesn't need to be a part of this.
I enter the living room. Everyone is in the kitchen by the sound of it... I listen in for a bit...
Rebecca: For all we know, she could be connected with Carver.
Luke: Come on. There's no way.
Alvin: She could be. We don't know.
Nick: She's connected to somebody. There's no way she's out here by herself.
Pete: She said she was with a friend and they got attacked.
Nick: Yeah, right.
Carlos: Whoever she's with, they'll probably come looking for her.
Alvin: Great. They show up and we've got her locked in the shed.
Rebecca: You think we should bring her in here...?
Alvin: No. I'm just saying it wouldn't look too good.
Carlos: It's just a precautionary measure. Anyone else would do the same.
Luke: You really think Carver would come after us...?
Nick: You think he wouldn't...?!
Pete: He's not exactly the type to let things lie.
Luke: What happened, happened. There's nothing we can do about it now.
Alvin: Let him come. I really don't give a damn.
Rebecca: Alvin!
Alvin: What? I don't.
Nick: You brought her back here, not me. You knew she was bit.
Luke: What was I supposed to do, huh? Leave her out there to die?
Nick: Better her than us.
Pete: You'd've done the same, Nick.
Nick: It wasn't the brightest idea.
Luke: Oh, and firing your rifle was, huh...? Next time we'll just put up a neon sign that says "Lurkers Welcome".
Alvin: Where you goin', hon...?
Rebecca: I want to get my sweater.
Carlos: We'll be done in a minute.
Nick: You're in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by lurkers, about to get eaten alive, and you're telling us it was a dog?
Luke: Yeah, yeah, I know it sounds crazy, but...look, for whatever reason, I think she's telling the truth.
Pete: Look, there's no point in arguing about it now. She's in the shed, she's not gonna hurt anyone. We'll just see what's what in the morning.
Luke: But Carlos said she could die if she doesn't get her arm treated.
Rebecca: Assuming she doesn't turn.
Alvin: That true? The girl could really die...?
Carlos: If the infection spreads...anything's possible. It could definitely get a whole lot worse for her.
Luke: Don't we have penicillin? Or something that could, y'know...stop the infection from spreading?
Carlos: We have some. But not enough to spare.
Nick: We're not wasting anything on her. What if one of us needs it?
Luke: Look, I'm just saying, we could help, that's all.
Rebecca: We need to think of ourselves first. That's just the way it is.
Pete: We can't just let her die. Not if there's something we can do about it. Let's just say she's telling the truth and she doesn't turn. Then what?
Luke: We apologize for being assholes. And then we help fix her arm.
Rebecca: She can't stay with us. We barely have enough supplies for ourselves.
Pete: We've got more fish in the traps than we could ever eat.
Nick: Yeah, but she's seen us. She knows we're here.
Luke: What, you scared of a small girl like that...?
Carlos: A small woman is not the problem. It's who she might tell.
Alvin: We gotta keep an eye on her.
Rebecca: IF she doesn't turn. Which she probably will.
Nick: I gotta take a leak.
Carlos: Hold on. We're almost done.
Nick: Fine.
Carlos: My point is, if that woman can find her way here, then almost anyone can.
Luke: Pete, you saw those lurkers, alright? That's more than we've seen in a while.
Pete: Yeah. Seems like it's not as safe as it was. 'Least not like when we found this place.
Nick: Maybe it's time to move on.
Rebecca: We can't just keep running. At some point we've got to settle down.
Carlos: We should. And we will. But can we find somewhere safe? I don't know.
Pete: You seen what it's like out there.
Alvin: I was just starting to like this place.
Pete: Look, we've had a good run here. But if it's time to move on, then I got no problem with that.
Luke: Yeah, but...I mean, where do we go from here...?
Alvin: No more cities. We all agreed on that, right...? Too many damn lurkers.
Nick: We're not going back the way we came. That's for damn sure.
Rebecca: We can probably find somewhere better. We just need to look.
Carlos: Wherever we go, we can't get too attached. We'll be fine as long as we keep things fluid.
Pete: We can't forget we need to check the traps tomorrow.
Nick: What do we do with the girl?
Rebecca: You're not leaving her here with me!
Luke: We can't just keep her locked in the shed. We're not animals.
Carlos: Then take her with you.
Nick: What...?
Carlos: You want to keep an eye on her, then take her with you. Are we almost done here...? I want to make sure Sarah's ready for bed. Pete: Wait a second. There's something else I want to talk about.
I had been listening in for a couple of minutes. It was about time I stopped caring about whatever the hell they were saying, and focused on my arm. Because as soon as I'm done fixing myself up. I'm out of here. Luke and Pete seem to be on my side... but everyone else is unsure of me. Except Rebecca. She is definitely sure I'm some bitten, dead girl who works with "Carver". Whoever he is, won't matter to me once I'm gone.
I then go upstairs. The steps are so creaky, I'm almost trying to float over them with each careful step.
I enter a door and it ends up being the bathroom.
Y/N: They have to have medical supplies around here somewhere.
I open the medicine cabinet and take a needle from a tomato-shaped pincushion.
Y/N: It's clean.
I put the needle away carefully in my pocket.
Y/N: I'll still need something to keep it from getting infected.
Just when I'm about to open the door and leave, I hear something.
Rebecca: That man sometimes, I swear!
It's that angry pregnant lady, Rebecca... I look around, quickly! I need to find a place to hide! The shower? I jump in.
Rebecca enters the bathroom and drinks some water from the sink. They have running water?? What if... She tries to take a shower?! I should've just gone in the closet. Oh God...
Rebecca: Damn it... Just need to have this baby and...oh, god. Let it be okay and...let it be his.
Woah.
Rebecca takes a deep breath and leaves. As soon as it sounds clear, I leave to find some peroxide, or anything to clean my wound with... I open another door opposite the bathroom. As soon as I peek through I hear a gasp. For a second I almost shut it and run, but it's the girl. I put my finger on my lips and shush Sarah.
Sarah: You're not supposed to be in here.
I look around the room, look behind me, then close the door as I enter slowly.
Y/N: Hi, can you please help me?
Sarah: I'm not supposed to talk to you. My dad can't know.
Y/N: Why, what will he do?
Sarah: Get mad at me.
Y/N: What does he do when he gets mad?
Sarah: He gets angry and says he's disappointed in me and that he just loves me and wants me to be safe.
Y/N: That's it? Nothing else?
Sarah: Yeah. It's the worst.
From what I can tell, Sarah is no threat to me. I know I can talk my way out of this.
Sarah: What happened to you?
Y/N: A dog bit me.
Sarah: Sounds scary... I bet it hurts.
Y/N: I could die if I don't take care of it. Do you understand?
Sarah will remember that.
Y/N: I just need something to clean it with. I bet it would be with the rest of your dad's medical supplies.
Sarah: Yeah, it is.
Sarah contemplates for a bit. I wait in hopes to get the answer I want.
Sarah: I'll help you.
Y/N: Good. Thank you.
Sarah: I'm Sarah.
Y/N: I'm Y/n.
Sarah: We're friends. Right? We can be best friends. I haven't met another girl my age since way before. It's hard to be the only girl, you know? Rebecca is okay, but she's old. And that's it. And if her baby is a girl, it'll be forever before she's old enough to, like, be my friend. And then I'll be super old.
Y/N: We're not the same age.
Sarah: What?
Y/N: We're not the same age. Everyone here thinks I'm a lot younger.
Sarah: Oh, I see. How old are you then? I'm fifteen.
Y/N: I'm 23.
Sarah: You don't seem like it.
Y/N: That's just how it is.
Sarah: So, can we still be friends, then?
Y/N: Yes.
Sarah: Promise?
Y/N: Yes.
Sarah will remember that.
Sarah holds out her pinkie for a pinkie swear. I lock my pinkie with hers.
Sarah: A pinky swear is forever. I'll see if I can find the stuff my dad uses when I get a cut. Lemme look around...
Sarah searches the room and then gives me a bottle of peroxide.
Sarah: I think this is it.
Y/N: Perfect. That'll work.
Sarah: You can't do it here, though. Someone will find you.
Y/N: Don't worry, I won't.
I open the door and peek left and right to see if it's clear.
Y/N: Thanks, Sarah.
Sarah: Shhh!
Y/N: Okay. I better get somewhere safer to do this.
I return to the shed and take out the supplies. I roll up my sleeve and place my arm on the table.
Y/N: This is gonna suck.
I take a sip of juice first. I then unscrew the lid of the peroxide and pour it on my wound, then drop it. I scream in pain, as I feel the peroxide bubble up all over. It hurts so bad I'm almost in tears, and I'm not even at the...
Y/N: The fun part.
It takes me a few greuling tries, but I eventually thread the needle.
I begin the first suture, then slam my fist on the table. I'm so dizzy, but I have to push through. My adrenaline, my best friend at this point, takes over and I'm ready to continue.
I continue suturing and screaming in pain. I'm finally done, and wrap my arm up with the bandages, but then I drop them.
As I'm picking them up, a walker reaches through the shed and grabs my leg. I hold onto the table and reach for the hammer as I try to kick it away, but it knocks me over. I try to grab a nearby rake but can't reach it.
The wall breaks and the walker crawls all the way into the shed and climbs on top of me. I kick it away and stand up. I quickly grab the rake and push the walker backward with it. It falls and gets impaled by the anchor on the wall.
I grab the hammer and hit it repeatedly in the head until it stops moving. Luke opens the shed, with the rest of the group close behind him.
Luke: Holy shit.
Alvin: What the...?
Nick: How the hell did it get in here?
Pete: Girl's tough as nails.
Carlos: Are you alright?
Luke: The shed should've been safe!
Y/N: I am still not bitten. I never was. And you left me out here to die.
Luke: You patched yourself up?
Luke watches me carefully in disbelief.
Nick: Where'd you get that stuff?
Rebecca: Did she steal from us?
Pete: This doesn't change a thing. She hasn't done anything to us.
Rebecca: Says the man not carrying a baby.
Pete: Enough already!
Luke: Guys, please.
Y/N: I did. I took stuff and I'm sorry. I really am.
They will remember that.
Rebecca: And you think you can trust her?
Pete: Goddamn it, don't even start! Any of you would've done the same if you were half as tough as this girl. So just save it.
Carlos: Bring her in and I'll take a look at her arm.
Alvin: Damn lurkers sneakin' around out here... We better get inside.
Luke: You hungry?
Y/N: I haven't eaten in days. Not even that weasel.
Luke cracks a guilty smile, but I smile back to reassure him. He's on my side from what I can tell. No need to guilt trip him of everyone.
We all go inside.
Carlos inspects my wound. Luke paces and Nick bites his fingernails.
Carlos: This might hurt a little.
Y/N: Ow!
Luke: How's she look?
Carlos: Her suturing skills need some work, but otherwise I'd say she should be fine.
Luke: So it wasn't a lurker bite?
Carlos: If it was, the fever would've already set in and her temperature would be through the roof.
Carlos bandages my arm. Nick leaves the room and Luke follows him. Carlos washes his hands in the sink.
Carlos: I wish you wouldn't've done what you did.
Y/N: What do you mean?
Carlos: You manipulated my daughter.
Y/N: I asked for her help?
Carlos: She's not someone you can just ask for help.
I'm not sure what to say, so I stay silent.
Carlos: I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but there are a few things you need to know about my daughter.
Y/N: Okay...
Carlos: She isn't like us. You may not get that initially, but once you're around her for a while, you'll understand. If she knew how bad the world is... what it's really like out there... she would... cease to function. She's my little girl. She's all I have left, and I would ask that you stay away from her.
Y/N: I'm sorry, I realize now what you mean. I didn't know. I was nice to her if that counts for anything...
Carlos will remember that.
Carlos: It's okay. You're forgiven. Just don't make any more mistakes.
Carlos leaves and Luke enters, holding a bowl of food.
Luke: Hey, uh... brought you some food.
Luke and I sit at the table and start eating.
Luke: That's gonna leave of hell of a scar.
Y/N: Better than losing it.
Luke: You can say that again. Scars...they're way cooler than stumps.
Luke tries to be playful with me. But I can tell he's still guilty and wary about what to say to me.
Y/N: Don't look so guilty. It's okay, you didn't want to do that to me. I survived anyway, and for that I'm grateful.
Luke: Grateful to who? You could've died in there...
Y/N: I could've died out in those woods, but you helped me. Gave me a chance.
Luke: Well, it wasn't just me. Pete helped you too.
Y/N: Then I am grateful to both you and Pete. Thank you.
Luke: You don't have to thank me...
I finish my bite of food then continue talking.
Y/N: Yeah, who was it that saved me from the walker on top of me by chopping its head off? And the one that carried me away?
I smile. I want him to be happy. We have enough burdens. Though I'm incredibly anxious talking to new people, and in a lot of pain, I just want everyone to feel okay.
He smiles back and looks down at his food.
Y/N: And I didn't end up with my arm chopped off! This is best case scenario.
Luke chuckles, but then noticed a growing sadness on my face as I start to think...
Luke: What's wrong? Y/N: Nothing. I just had a friend who lost his arm once, that's all. I'm okay.
Nick enters the room.
Nick: Hey, look. Um, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for... well, for being a dick out there. I got kinda aggro and that was definitely not cool.
Luke: Nick's been known to go off every once in a while. Don't hold it against him.
Nick: Yeah, I guess we all have our moments.
Luke: You definitely had one out there.
Nick drops his head down as he sits next to me.
Y/N: You were just protecting your friends. I get it.
Nick will remember that.
Nick: I didn't mean to be so harsh. I just... we had a bad experience once.
Y/N: What happened...?
Luke: Nick lost his mom. We took care of someone who'd got bit.
I can see the hurt in Nick's eyes...
Nick: It was my fault. I--
Luke: It was no one's fault. We thought we could control it, but... we couldn't. And then she turned and his mom was standing right there and she got attacked... There was nothing we could do about it.
Nick: Anyway. Hopefully, you understand.
Y/N: I do. Yeah.
Nick smiles at me then gets up and leaves.
Luke: So, since you're pretty much on your own, what's your plan?
Y/N: I don't know. Like you said, I'm just on my own now. It's never really been this way.
I wonder if I should ask to stay here? No, I couldn't... They all want me out of here. But, should I ask? I don't kn-
Luke: Well, you're welcome to stay here if you want. You can let yourself heal up and take some time to sort things out.
Y/N: Do you think everyone else will be okay with it?
Luke: They'll just have to deal with it.
He smiles at me. I let out a secret sigh of relief and smile back sheepishly.
Luke: So what happened to your parents? If you don't mind me asking.
Y/N: Do you really still think I'm a kid?
Luke: Oh, I- right. Well, how old are you?
Y/N: Wait, I want to see what you think. How old do I look to you?
Luke: 16.. 17..?
Y/N: 23!
Luke: Oh, wow, I- mean you just seem a lot younger. 'Cause, y'know, you're... small?
Y/N: Sigh. Yeah, I know. Everyone likes to mention it to me.
Luke: But you're strong. That's for sure. None of us could've done what you did out there. I didn't mean to offend you or-
Y/N: No, no! You haven't. I'm just very used to hearing it is all... And trust me, you would've been able to do it too. Once your body knows it's in trouble... Adrenaline will get you through anything...
Luke looks down with remorse.
Y/N: But really? Does my face look that young?...
Luke: I think your face looks to be about 23 years old.
I smile.
Y/N: Really? Or are you just saying that?
I tease him.
Luke: Really! I mean it.
We both continue eating.
Y/N: Well, how old are you? Have you been keeping track?
Luke: I'm 26. My birthday is in the winter, so I know it must be coming up soon.
Y/N: Mine too, January 26th. (~ Wink wink)
Luke: Pete's birthday is in the winter too. And like I said, seems like it's coming soon... so maybe we'll just have one big winter birthday party then.
We smile at each other and keep eating.
Luke: The winter will be rough, but it's not our first time surviving it. How do you usually get through it?...
Y/N: I'm usually with other people that can help me, if that's what you're asking.
Luke: I was just curious on how you made it this far.
Y/N: I just try to stay with good people and not do anything dumb.
I start feeling sad again...
Luke: Hey, I'm sorry, I... I shouldn't have asked.
Y/N: In the beginning, my parents went on vacation and left me with a babysitter and they never came back. We went to Savannah to find them... but they were already dead.
Luke: Wow. Well, I'm sorry to hear that.
Y/N: This man found me and took care of me.
...
Y/N: We met up with other survivors and we all tried to make it, but... it didn't work. His name was Lee. He taught me how to survive... He's the reason I keep my hair short.
Luke: What happened to him?
Y/N: I ran away... I was stupid. There was a man who said he knew my parents. I thought I knew what I was doing, but I ran away and Lee died because of it.
Luke: Maybe he would've died anyways.
Y/N: It was my fault. I just... sometimes people die because of me. Because they always try to protect me. I can't stand it.
Luke: I'm sure none of them regret trying to keep you safe.
Y/N: I'd hope so... for the past, I don't know seven years? I'd been with my friend Christa. The friend who was with me when we got attacked.
Luke lightens the mood,
Luke: For that damn weasel.
I laugh. Pete enters the room.
Pete: I hate to interrupt, but I'm out there standing watch and I can't help but notice this place is lit up like a goddamn beacon in the middle of the woods.
Luke: Yeah, it's time to turn in anyways.
Y/N: Alright, and thank you Pete.
Pete turns his head in question.
Y/N: For saving me?
Pete: Oh, right, you're welcome, Y/n.
We exchange smiles as he leaves the room. Pete winks at Luke, and it clearly frustrates him.
Luke: When you're finished eating, come find me upstairs. I'll show you where you can sleep.
I smile and nod with a mouthful of food. He puts his bowl in the sink and leaves.
To be continued...
A/N; Things are starting to speed up, see?? Ah trust me, the next episode... Allllll Luke baby. So far this has really just been the transcript to the game LOL, but believe me when I say, the next episode will be a whole new case.

Our Secret Moments
levi ackerman x reader
Tumblr media
It was unusual for Captain Levi to end training early. Typically, he would push his cadets until they were almost too weak to stand. Today was different, however, as he approached his Scouts, telling them traning was done today, and then disappearing.
Armin stroked his chin, seemingly lost in thought. Everyone was trying to figure out what on earth possessed Captain Levi to end training so abruptly. That's when Armin had an idea.
Eren shook the blond gently, "Hey, Armin, you still in there?"
He nodded, looking at his group of friends. "I think the Captain ended training to go see Y/N."
Jean snorted and crossed his arms, "Sure he did. I'm pretty sure Levi hates them."
"Definitey not. Those two are practically attached at the hip," Eren interjected. It was safe to say if anyone knew how the two veterans interacted, it would be him.
"You've gotta be joking. There's no way that cold bastard would let someone like Y/N around him that much," Connie said in disbelief.
"Eren is the only one who sees how those two are. We gotta trust his judgment."
"Why is it any of our business anyway?" Christa looked at them. "I mean, if you were them, would you want people prying into your business?"
"Because this is the kinda shit we can us against the Captain!" Jean smirked. "He will never treat us like second-rate soldiers ever again!"
Connie and Sasha both nodded in agreement. Eren gave the idea some thought; on the one hand, Christa was right. Whatever was happening between Captain Levi and Y/N was none of their business. On the other though, Jean was also right. If they had some leverage against him, maybe he would start treating them a little better.
"You guys seriously can't be considering this," Christa gave them a small frown. "I know Captain Levi is strict, but we shouldn't invade his privacy like this!"
"I say we just go see what he could be up to," Eren shrugged. "What's the worst that can happen?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Armin's suspicions were proven right as they found Levi's horse out in the middle of an open field not far from the Scout's base. Across the field, Levi and Y/N were laying in the grass.
"Let's try to get closer and hear what they're saying," Jean whispered as he began to sneak closer to the two. The others quietly followed his lead until they were at the perfect spot to sit and listen.
"You've been overworking yourself Levi," You turned over on your side, tracing lines across Levi's arms. "Don't feel bad about cutting one training short."
Levi sighed, relaxing into your gentle touch, "I just know Erwin has a deadline for when he wants those brats trained, and this break could really hurt my chances of meeting it."
"Well, this was much needed. For both of us," You gave him a smile. "Besides, we don't get much alone time anymore. It's truly a tragedy," You exhaled dramatically.
Levi snickered and rolled his eyes. "You are really something else, aren't you?" He glanced at you, an unusual softness in his eyes.
The cadets watched from afar and were practically stunned to silence. This was nothing like the Levi they knew. He was being.. nice? He was laughing, smiling. It was an extremely strange sight to see.
"Tell you what," Your voice rang through the field, which brought the hidden Scouts back to their mission at hand. "Let's dance," You threw yourself up off the ground.
"Excuse me?" Levi said in disgust. "I am not dancing."
"Oh come on it'll be fun!"
"You know what else is fun?"
"Getting up and dancing with your best friend," You said smuggly.
"No. Laying here and doing nothing sounds way more fun."
You decided to completely ignore Levi's protest and dragged him up off the ground. You pulled Levi against your chest and wrapped your arms around his waist.
"You are absolutely insufferable," Levi scoffed, a blush forming on his face. "How are we going to dance to no music?"
You didn't reply, just started humming softly. He swayed gently as he waited for Levi to give in.
Against Levi's better wishes, he joined you in the gentle sway. Once you knew he was into it, you picked up your pace. Unknown to Levi, you were actually an incredible dancer.
Levi took a glance up at you, and your eyes were fixed on the raven-haired man you held tightly in your arms. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Levi was getting more and more flustered by the second.
You shrugged, tightening your grip on Levi's waist, "You're just nice to look at," You dipped him towards the ground, your hair falling into your eyes.
The two stayed like that for a moment, both unsure of what to do now that they seemed entirely entranced by each other. Levi's heart was pounding as you held him tightly. You felt the same way, taking a glance at Levi's lips every so often. It was an insatiable urge, wanting to kiss your best friend.
On the opposite side of the field, Eren and the gang were extremely invested in this moment. "They're totally gonna kiss," Connie said quietly.
"Oh definitely. I'd be surprised if they didn't," Jean replied, his eyes fixed on the scene in front of him.
Eren was entirely stunned. "I knew the two were close, but I never thought they were in love."
"I think it's so cute!" Sasha was barely able to contain her excitement, her hands flapping back and forth in an attempt to release some of that energy.
You leaned in closer, your lips just barely touching Levi's, "You make it so hard to resist you."
Levi gulped nervously, his body now aching for you to kiss him, "Then stop resisting."
That was all the approval you needed. You crashed your lips together, kissing Levi deeply. Levi returned the kiss, his hands finding their way around your neck.
You stood Levi upright as he carefully pulled away, "I've been waiting to do that for so damn long," You chuckled quietly.
Levi was breathless and his face was a bright shade of red. "I agree," He tried to compose himself.
"I knew it!" Connie yelled, immediately realizing his mistake after.
Levi spun his head toward the group, who was poorly hidden behind a few bushes, "What the hell are you guys doing here?" He started to move towards them.
"Shit, run!" Eren called out as the group scattered in different directions.
Levi growled in annoyance, getting ready to chas after them, but you stopped him, "It's not worth it. Let's leave them be right now, yeah?"
Levi hesitated, but agreed, "I hate those kids," He leaned his head on your chest, taking a deep breath.
You laughed and hugged Levi tightly. There was something so comforting about being able to hold him like this, even given the current circumstances. "Yeah, I hate them too."
I DIDN’T WANT TO GET MY HOPES UP AT THE TIME—BUT I SUSPECTED THAT THOSE TWO WERE MY FRIENDS.
armin arlert and eren jaeger.
i’d only known them for a short while but i felt close to them ; maybe it was the way armin shared his dreams and aspirations with me.
it was the night we met , after he’d stumbled out of the mess hall , wishing me a happy birthday.
“[y/n] , right? i knew it was you”
my throat dried up and the grip on the tray tightened , “yeah , it’s me—i thought you didn’t . . .remember me”
he fidgets with his hands behind his back , a small chuckle pulling at his lips ,“i did! i just—i was just worried you wouldn’t recognize me”
“—but i wanted to thank you again for saving me” i mumbled ‘you’re welcome’ , and armin raced to fill the impending silence , “i’m sorry i was eavesdropping just now”
“no , that’s okay.”
we stood there , staring at each other until the end-of-supper bell rang.
i discarded the remains of the “food” and walked away , relieved that the interaction was over.
all that tension crept back into my muscles when i realized we were headed in the same direction.
i drew in a long , exasperated breath.
i should say something.
i then turned to armin with an equally exasperated expression , “so—which regiment are you going into after graduation?”
“the scouting regiment”
some of the tension rolled off my shoulders , and i stared at armin wide-eyed ,“me too. . .!” “. . .it’s just that—i want to help.”
“me too” armin’s smile deepened , “well , i suppose some of it is me wanting to go outside”
“it’s always been my dream to see what’s out there—i know it’s st—“ “—it’s good to have dreams.”
he looked startled by my sudden interruption , ears dusted pink , “. . .thanks.”
“hey , armin!” it was one of armin’s closest friends.
the boy ; the tall one with pretty eyes.
he stopped approaching when he noticed me , “lights out soon.” he turned to armin , who nodded his head , “right , sorry.”
armin’s friend glanced at me , and i waved at him.
he stays silent , squinting his eyes at me ,“hey , aren’t you that nosebleed gi—“ armin nudged him in the ribs , “—right.”
“i’m eren jaeger.”
“[y/n] [l/n].”
it was completely silent after that.
exhausted , i kept walking toward the girls’ dorms , “i’m gonna turn in for now. goodnight , you two” i threw a wave over my shoulder.
“[y/n]!” armin called after me , and i turned back to him , “you can call me armin , if you want” a bashful smile was playing on his lips.
i smiled back ,“i will.”
we’d been attached at the hip ever since.
armin was so sweet and attentive ; he always wanted to ask me about myself—though i preferred to listen to him.
armin is a genius—he taught me something new every day , and he excelled in any written exam or class.
the way he spoke about his dreams was enthralling ; the way he’d look at me starry-eyed , and would speak until he was out of breath.
and eren—despite his belligerent exterior , i found him to be delightfully boyish , in a way—in a lot of ways.
the way he’d giggle and punch my arm when we took turns trading friendly jabs at one another.
the way he’d get so competitive—and most times about the most insignificant things ; once demanding a rematch for an eating contest i didn’t actually know i was competing in.
they were always so eager to help me and others–even eren , though it was sometimes followed by teasing on his part.
they were so refreshing , and the more time i spent with them the more others made an effort to talk to me.
even now , i could never dream of paying them back.
but of course , i can't speak about those two without mentioning mikasa ackermann ; the third of armin’s friend group , and the best recruit in the trainee corps.
her connection to those two—particularly with eren—can’t be underestimated.
the three are childhood friends , and they were always together.
though she was stoic with me and others , she was loyal and caring in her own way.
she would often fret over her friends —asking if armin was alright , or where eren was.
in addition to being an amazing friend , she was a very formidable opponent—in every sense of the term.
i knew to keep my head down around her after she threw the two-hundred-pound reiner braun over her shoulder like a backpack.
my general weariness around ackermann was worsened by the fact that she didn’t appear to like me all that much—only confirming my suspicions the first day she spoke to me.
everyone gathered in the mess hall for breakfast , and i took my new spot between eren and armin.
eren nudged me , “—heard you were m.i.a during drills again.”
he spoke in between bites , “don’t speak with your mouth full , eren.”
the sudden sound of ackermann’s voice startled me ; she’d stopped eating and turned to eren—but it still felt like she was staring through him.
she knitted her eyebrows together and i turned away , waiting for eren’s response.
he grumbled something about wishing she’d stop treating him like her ‘kid brother’
i then answered eren’s comment, “—yeah , i got another nosebleed.”
it seems that eren took ackermann’s words to heart , as he finished chewing before speaking , “i figured as much. . .”
“what’s the deal with that anyway?” he continued , “you’ve been getting nosebleeds for the past—what—fifteen years?”
“it’s getting seriously worrisome. it’s shaping up to be a chronic illness at this rate” armin added , leaning over the table to look at me.
“i guess i never really thought about it all that much.” i then made the mistake of letting the conversation die out.
i made the second mistake of prodding ackermann by asking , “so—ackermann—how is your morning so far?”
“the same.” she stirs her soup with vigor, fingers clenched around the spoon.
my mind was racing desperately for another subject to divert attention to , when i remembered that i hadn’t shown them [b/n]’s gift.
i smiled as i fished the necklace from my breast pocket , and the two eyed me curiously.
“oh? what’s this?” eren studied the pendant , “can i see it?” he asked , but didn’t wait for an answer before snatching it from my hand.
he held the jewel up to his right eye , looking back at me with a grin , “is your brother rich?”
“no!” i punched his arm , “it. . .” i averted my gaze , “it was my mother’s.”
eren gave it back to me , and i started fumbling with it behind my neck–a failed attempt at putting it on.
eren snorted , “here,” before scooting closer to me ; his cold fingers grazed my collar in his efforts to clasp the necklace shut.
when he backed away , i smiled down at the crystal , murmuring a ‘thank you’.
armin’s eyes creased in his smile, “it’s beautiful.”
“yeah , it looks great.” eren nods.
ackermann dropped her spoon on her tray—and it was purposeful—the clatter halting all conversation at that table for a moment.
when i glanced over to see what the sound was , i found myself paralyzed ; gripped by her menacing aura.
she looked upon me with such disgust.
i’m sorry , “i–” i tried to speak.
i finally tore my eyes away from hers , digging my nails into the wood beneath my fingers–i was losing more oxygen than i was taking in.
“[y/n]?” armin leans toward me , gingerly placing a hand on my shoulder.
i gripped his wrist , squeezing until he was forced to let me go—but i didn’t , “ow—that hurts—“
i only released my grip when blood pooled into my mouth ; i recoiled at the taste as i stared at him , eyes wide as dinner plates.
i looked down , bowing my head , “excuse me.” with that , i got up and walked away.
“mikasa!” i heard eren scolding her behind me.
i kept moving forward without a clear destination in sight , only stopping when i reached the girls’ dormitory.
i’d been curled up on my bunk for god knows how long , staring ahead—trying to ask myself why i reacted the way i did.
“[l/n]?” i jumped at the sound of a girl’s voice , startled.
i looked up to find a petite girl that i knew as christa lenz. up until that moment , i’d never talked to her , but i did know that she was particularly popular among male recruits.
lenz maintains a respectful distance as she asks , “you left the mess hall in a hurry ; are you alright?” “yeah—i’m fine.”
she nods , though it's clear she wasn't all that convinced , “well , i’m glad.”
“we’re. . .” she pulled her hair back , “about to start drills soon.”
“thanks.” i wiped my face with my sleeve , stretching as i stood up.
“hey ,” a girl enters the dorm , greeting us without a second thought.
“good morning , sasha!” lenz beamed.
it’s sasha braus—as i thought.
the brunette from dauper , although most knew her as the ‘potato girl’.
she was given the nickname after being caught by commander shadis eating a potato on the first day of basic training.
christa and i stared as she finished her snack in silence.
it’s on her way out of the dorm that she stops in her tracks , “what are you two doing in here all alone. . .-”
her hand flies to cover her mouth ; we only stare at her as she glances between us.
she slowly dropped her hand , “does ymir know?”
“—do i know what?”
just like that , another girl comes sauntering into the room ; she eyes me and braus suspiciously as she approaches.
i knew of her ; the freckled one who usually keeps to herself. she only pipes up when lenz is involved in some way.
she stopped in front of me before gesturing for sasha to go on ; sasha–naturally–responded by loudly “whispering” , “christa’s cheating on you.”
ymir glanced at me , tilting her head and squinting her eyes at me.
she chokes back a laugh as she pats the top of my head , “she looks like she’s been crying ; i doubt these two were up to anything”
“besides,” she punches braus in the back “--ow!” “christa would never do anything like that” “—what did i do?!” “—ymir! cut that out!”
i managed to slip out unnoticed during all the commotion , finding myself chuckling to myself while heading to the field.
i thought they were funny.
i like them.
✧;── 🕰️ ──;✧
“yoo-hoo—[l/n]—are you in there?” i blinked “—yes!?”
my vision focused on braus , who was currently waving her hand in front of my face.
she sits back down , and i tilt my head at her , “what is it , sasha?”
“are you. . .” she lifts her shaky index finger , pointing toward my tray , “gonna eat that?”
of course she’d ask me that
i sigh , “sure” she snatched the bread off my tray , slamming her hand down with incredible force, “you’re the best!”
pressing my lips together , i push my tray aside and rest my head in my hands.
lenz and ymir trade glances before the blonde leans toward me , “you seem out of it , are you okay?”
“yeah—“ i sigh , “i just have a problem i’m trying to find the solution to”
“is it about jaeger?” i looked up to find ymir mirroring my pose ; i found my eyebrows knitting themselves together , “what makes you say that?”
ymir snickered , “you normally sit by him—and he’s been looking over here the whole time
she leans over the table , narrowing her eyes at me , “lover’s quarrel?” the smaller girl nudged her, “ymir!”
“no , it’s about ackermann , actually” ymir paused, “i think she hates me.” i continued.
“i don’t particularly blame her.” the girl shrugged , “she was always with him before you came along.”
ymir raised her brows at me , and i stared back at her—puzzled.
“what?” i immediately began stuttering out nonsense about how it’s ‘not like that’—which i’m sure only made me look worse.
now finished with her food , braus finally rejoined the conversation , “what are we talking about?”
the three of us all stop and stare at her as she looks around , confused.
she never got her answer , as we were interrupted , “hey guys—“ a male recruit comes walking up to the table with his tray.
“hey connie.” braus greeted , not looking away from us.
“jean’s being a sore loser ; can i sit here for now?” “sure.” “great , thanks”
i glance up at connie , taking in his appearance ; his shaved head was his most prominent feature.
he was the only recruit with a buzz cut , so i recognized him quickly.
right , the kid who got the salute wrong. that incident happened right before braus’s potato-related blunder.
i giggled to myself , and that’s when connie noticed me ; he stopped eating and stared at me ,
he then probably realized that he was being rude , “hey. . . ?” he greeted , “hello.” i greeted him.
he leans towards braus , and the two proceed to loudly whisper in front of me , “since when are you friends with her?” “since she shared her food with me”
“but isn’t she like—really weird?” “no!”
as they continued , i looked over to find ymir and christa looking exasperated and confused.
clearing my throat , i maintain eye contact with connie as he trailed off , “. . .sorry.”
“i’m connie springer.”
“[y/n]. . .[l/n]”
the table’s conversation continued like normal , but my mind wandered off.
maybe ymir was onto something before we got interrupted.
ackermann may be getting the wrong idea about my feelings for eren.
it’s a misunderstanding,
i can fix it.
Okay I'm going to do your request but if it's all right can I please ask for crista and kianna komori
Head cannons please like how would she be around kianna as a little girl
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
♡ Christa and Kianna (as a kid) Headcannons ♡
She really thought nothing about Kianna at first, Christa just thought that Kianna is just a kid she's forced to take care of for the rest of her life...
Christa also thought that if the kid dies then she's die with her and it made her really paranoid when Kianna wants to do things that could ended up risking her life
Though...she also isn't all uncaring about the girl, sometimes Kianna reminded Christa of her son...and that made her a feel little bit guilty.
Even in her ghost-like form...her personality doesn't change a bit, She wanted to interact with Kianna because she's so lonely but she's too anxious to do so...instead Christa just make her presence known to her passively by gently holding Kianna's hand when she wake up from a nightmare to stop her from crying or placing a treat next to her with a hand written note under it when she did something good
Usually she's nice and caring (when she wants to be) but on days when she's extremely stressed her more emotional self comes out, at this stage she gets angry quite easily at practically anything...though she tries to hide how she feels sometimes when she bottles up her emotions too much and she just...snapped.
The only way she let out all these emotions is by destroying objects near her or just internally shouting at herself...or just venting about it on paper, she only uses paper that Kianna doesn't usually use to vent out her emotions since Christa doesn't want Kianna to find out...Unfortunately Kianna does find some of the papers Christa wrote anyway, it usually says pretty negative words that I'm too afraid to show you...
Ofcourse Christa doesn't want anyone to see her weak side so she got extremely angry at Kianna one time when she saw what Christa wrote and started to prank Kianna little by little to try and clear her emotions...first, her favorite pen is gone...second, her favorite doll is ripped apart and she had to sew it back up by herself...and the list goes on...it was pretty light the first time since she just wanted to teach Kianna not to look at other people's personal stuff but soon she realizes that Kianna doesn't really mean to do any of that since Kianna doesn't really know any better so...she tries to refrain from hurting Kianna's feelings any longer
Since Kianna already acknowledged her existence by Christa giving her biscuits when she did something good, she called her, Biscuit lady <3
warnings: death, violence
Coriolanus Snow x reader, slight Felix Ravinstill x reader
Chapter 4: Arachne
The news from Dr. Gaul had lifted your spirits as you arrived home early. To your surprise, you found your younger siblings at home. Your mother was engrossed in the television glass of wine in hand, and your siblings, as oblivious as always, were watching the tributes. They pleaded with you to take some food to Lucy Gray, Coriolanus's songbird. Normally, you would have refused, deeming it unnecessary, but the positive mood of the day prompted you to agree
With a sigh, you said, "Alright, we can go. Get whatever you want to take with you." The twins squealed in delight, rushing to gather snacks. You called for Christa to arrange transportation and accompany them to the zoo.
The ride was smooth and quick, and upon arrival, you found a bustling crowd. you spotted some of your classmates, including Festus, and Arachne. Not surprisingly, Coriolanus was there with his songbird, none of them notice you but Coriolanus giving you a surprised look until he saw your younger siblings clinging to your skirt.
Benjamin brought a boiled potato for Lucy Gray but was too afraid to approach the cage. Coriolanus, noticing the situation, winked and waved at Benji, giving him the courage to move forward. You nodded in approval, encouraging Benji to interact with Lucy Gray.
“Did you bring that potato for Lucy Gray?” Coriolanus asked. “Yes. I saved it from dinner. I wanted to eat it, but I wanted to feed her more,” Benji replied. “Go on, then,” Coriolanus encouraged him. “She doesn’t bite. Mind you, use your manners.” you reassured Benji, saying, "Go on, it's alright." Taking a shy step toward the cage, Lucy Gray graciously accepted the potato, treating it as a precious gift.“Well, hey there,” said Lucy Gray. “What’s your name?” “Benjamin,” he said. “I saved you my potato.” “Aren’t you sweet? Should I eat it now or save it?” she asked.
“Now,” he gingerly held it out to her. Lucy Gray took a bite, savoring it with closed eyes, and almost seemed to swoon. “My That’s about the nicest potato I’ve ever seen. Nicest tasting, too. Thank you, Benjamin,” she said. Benji blushed with pride, and you couldn't help but smile a little at the heartwarming interaction between your brother and the tribute.
Coriolanus gave you a thankful look, and you responded with a small smile. He then shifted his gaze with curiosity behind you. Turning your head to see what was happening, you were surprised to find that Arachne had set up a little picnic for her tribute. There was a fresh loaf of bread, a block of cheese, and even grapes.
You observed as Arachne sliced the cheese with a mother-of-pearl-handled knife. Her tribute, the talkative girl from District 10, sat in front of her, leaning eagerly into the bars. Arachne prepared a thick sandwich but didn't hand it over immediately. It seemed she was delivering a lecture of some sort. At one point, the girl reached through the bars, grinned at the audience, shook her finger at her tribute, offered the sandwich, and then playfully pulled it away, much to the crowd's amusement.
Lucy Gray commented, "She's playing with fire.”
Arachne waved to the crowd and took a bite of the sandwich herself. you could see the tribute's face darkening, the muscles tightening in her neck. Something else caught my attention; her fingers slid down the bar, darting out, circling the handle of the knife.You opened your mouth attempting to shout out a warning, but it was too late
In one swift movement, the tribute yanked Arachne forward and slit her throat. The crowd's laughter turned to shock, creating a chilling atmosphere. The unexpected turn of events left everyone in stunned silence.
Shrieks came from the audience members nearest to the attack. Arachne’s face drained of color as she dropped the sandwich and clawed at her neck. The blood poured down her fingers as the District 10 girl released her and gave her a small shove.
Everything happened so fast, a chaotic blur unfolding before your eyes. Shrieks pierced the air from the audience members closest to the attack. Arachne's face drained of color as she dropped the sandwich, desperately clawing at her neck. Blood poured down her fingers as the District 10 girl released her, giving a small shove.
Reacting quickly, you shoved Benjamin into Christa's arms, instructing her to get the kids out of there and home. Arachne, bleeding profusely, stepped back, reaching out with a dripping hand, imploring the audience for help. Stunned or scared, people hesitated to respond, drawing away as she fell to her knees, bleeding out.
Forcing your legs into motion, you were the first to reach Arachne, She clutched your sweater as life seeped out of her. "Medic!" you cried, easing her to the ground. "Is there a doctor? Please, someone help!" you tore off part of your skirt and pressed it to the wound in an attempt to stop the bleeding. "Come on!" you screamed at the crowd desperately pleading for someone to help Arachne.
 Your voice was hoarse, your eyes stinging with tears threatening to spill. No, not now. This isn't the time, you thought. Arachne, with the little life left in her, said, "Please, Y/n, please. I don't want to die."
Your lips trembled. "You're not going to die, okay? Everything is going to be okay," you assured her. When her breathing stopped abruptly and her eyes became dull, panic set in. "Arachne, no, no, no. Please, come on, wake up. You have to stay awake," you kept muttering to yourself, cradling her in your arms. you knew she was dead, but you just couldn't let her go.
Festus and Coriolanus were next to you now, exchanging helpless looks. How long had they been there? Why weren't they helping her? Why didn't they call for help? "Y/n," Coriolanus said softly, grabbing your shoulder. "Y/n, she's gone. You have to get up; you're hurt." His hands gently grabbed your face, moving it to look at him. He then moved his hand down to the base of your neck, and you felt a stinging sensation. You could now feel yourself bleeding. When did that happen? How could you not have felt that? It must have been when the Peacekeeper shot the tribute; the bullet must have grazed you without you even knowing.
You remained motionless until the medics finally appeared and lifted Arachne onto a stretcher. Coriolanus helped you up and insisted that the medics check you for further injuries. you swatted them away; you were fine. It was Arachne who wasn't.
Coriolanus pulled you close, checking you himself since you wouldn't let anyone else near you. You wrapped your arms around him, and he reciprocated, laying his head atop Yours and planting a gentle kiss on my temple. "It's okay, Dove. I've got you," he whispered.
"Dove," you thought to yourself. The only people who ever called you that were Dr. Gaul and your father. you hated it when people called you that since Your father passed. He came up with that nickname; it was your thing. You didn't mind Dr. Gaul calling you that; she was almost like a mother to you. But coming from Coriolanus, it just felt right. It calmed and soothed you in a way you hadn't expected.
The soldiers were swarming the place, clearing out the last remnants of the audience and lining up the tributes along the back of the cage with their hands on top of their heads. The peacekeepers gave you two a respectful but firm push toward the exit. You stopped at a water fountain and worked a bit on removing the blood. Neither of you knew what to say.
Arachne hadn't been your favorite person, but she'd always been in your life. The wash of blood, the whiz of bullets, and the screams in the crowd all caused flashbacks to the worst moments of your childhood. Rebel boots pounding through the streets, Arachne and you once pinned down by gunfire, surrounded by dying bodies.You had to play dead among the rest of the bodies until they left, praying they didn't find you. Arachne and you never talked about that day, but it created a shared bond between the two of you. As part of the wealthy old guard of the Capitol, she was family. The bond was a given.
“I couldn’t save her,” you said. “I couldn’t stop the blood.”
“I don’t think anyone could have. At least you tried. That’s what matters,” Coriolanus consoled you. Once you exited the zoo, you kept walking. "Do you want me to walk you home?" Coriolanus asked. "No," you said quickly. Coriolanus gave you a taken-aback look. "No, I mean, I'm not going home. I just can't deal with home right now. I'll find somewhere to go. But you don't have to stay with me. You must be exhausted." Coriolanus thought for a second, taking a deep breath. "You could, uh, you could come home with me if you want," he suggested. you gave him a sad smile and thanked him. As you walked to his apartment, your hands kept touching each other until they finally interlocked. As you approached his apartment, he stopped and looked at you.
"Corio," you said. "Look, I'm not... we're not, uh..."
"I know," you interrupted him. "It's okay. I won't tell anyone," you assured him. He gave you a look you couldn't read, and continued up the stairs to his apartment. you'd known for a while that the Snows hadn't had money for a while now. Quincy owns almost half the real estate in the city, including the Snows' apartment. Sometimes when he's not looking, You'll hide the paper informing him that the Snows are late on rent. To give them some extra time.
As you entered his apartment, Coriolanus's grandmother and Tigris were fast asleep. you walk quietly to his bedroom. You settled on his bed as he shut the door and went to freshen up. His room seemed frozen in time, almost identical to how it was during your last visit—about eleven or twelve years ago. It was a time before the war, when your families were close. You used to have countless playdates until the war separated you. After his mother's death, you rarely visited. The funeral marked the last time you saw him before both your fathers perished in the war, and things just changed.
You were snapped out of your thoughts as Coriolanus handed you some clothes to change into and pointed you to the restroom. His hair was slightly damp, and his shirt clung to him. You tried your best to keep your gaze steady as you took the clothes and made your way to freshen up.
You shed Your bloodstained uniform and stepped into the near-scalding water of the shower, scrubbing away the remnants of Arachne’s blood from your body. For a moment, a painful sob wracked your chest, a mixture of sorrow for her death and frustration over your own life. It passed, leaving you unsure of its origin—perhaps a blend of both.
Once you stepped out, you dressed in the clothes Coriolanus had given you: a white undershirt and blue sleeping pants, two sizes too big. you did your best to dry off with the towel before hanging it back up.
 In Coriolanus's room, you found him deep in thought. When he looked up, his eyes scanned you from head to toe as you came to sit beside him on the bed.
"What are you thinking about?" you asked. "The proposal," he replied. "Surely she wouldn't expect us to have it done by tomorrow after everything that's happened." You sighed wearily. "She would. Dr. Gaul is the type to penalize for missing any deadlines, regardless of the circumstances." He shot you a tired and annoyed look.
"I can help you if you want," I offered. "It's technically cheating because I'm supposed to sort through and approve the proposals tomorrow, but this can be our little secret." Coriolanus perked up at the idea, and you spent hours crafting the perfect proposal together.
Exhausted, you laid down in bed. To your surprise, Coriolanus wrapped his arm around you, holding you close. "Corio," you said with a yawn.
"Hmm," he replied sleepily. "Thank you," you said.He simply held you closer. "Good night, Y/n." "Good night, Corio," you whispered before closing your eyes and letting sleep take you.
Can you tell us more about your oc?🥺
W-What??🥹👉🏻👈🏻 I never imagined someone would care enough to begin with, praise your kindness.
I have no clue what more information is… so I’ll just add some basic (not too deep) information about the relationship between Tsujimura and her ‘family’.
The demons right hand, Tsujimura Sakamaki.
Tumblr media
Karlheinz Sakamaki (cousin)
Karlheinz’ cousin and trusted assistant. They live together in the demon world, watching over his Adam and Eve project.
Most powerful being, next to Karlheinz.
She has all the same skills as he does, transforming herself to her liking.
Tsujimura both, respects and despises Karlheinz from the bottom of her heart. Unable to understand why he never showered Cordelia with the love she would’ve given her, she follows his orders without any further questions.
Tries to plot against him behind his back, to full-fill Cordelia’s wish of killing him.
He’s certainly aware of her background doings, unable to unwrap or change them, since she could do the same.
Cordelia Sakamaki (lover)
Cordelia’s loyal dog, following her wishes and desires behind Karlheinz’ back.
Cordelia thinks of her her as a play-toy, servant and closest companion. She has been more successful as Richter so far, maybe she can be the key to her plan?
Tsujimura has been in love with Cordelia ever since hearing her name, imagining what the beauty would look like. Her heart shattered, noticing Karlheinz and her dance closely.
She would do anything in her hands to please her, but the one request she denied, was for Karlheinz to come back to her.
Richter Sakamaki (cousin)
Even if they’re cousins, they’re also rivals.
She does not like his presence, nor his appearance. Even using her magic to shut his mouth, once getting on her nerves.
She despises the fact he spent time with her the most, wishing to kill him as soon as possible, if Cordelia desired it.
Christa Sakamaki (considers cousin)
Due to Cordelia hating her, she tries distancing herself from Christa. But as her favorite ‘cousin’, she pays her a visit instead of Karlheinz every now and then.
Tsujimura pities the woman for her outcome, slightly adding hate towards Karlheinz.
Yui Komori
Complete and utter hate between her and the heroine. Not only because of her history of stealing Cordelia’s heart, but also because Karlheinz assigned Tsujimura to watch over her.
She uses Yui as a puppet, taking over her body to form life choices every now and then.
Supposedly helping the heroine finding her Adam for Karlheinz’ plan, but in truth she seeks her chosen Adam to kill Yui in order to bring Cordelia back.
Yui appreciates the female accompany, following her around as an invisible and floating ‘ghost’.
They’re talking to one another in her mindset only, causing her to space out every now, not watching her surroundings.
Ayato Sakamaki (aunt)
Her favorite boy. His favorite adult.
She has been there for him, letting him skip their lessons, to play during Cordelia’s absence.
There have been rare moments of Tsujimura standing up towards her lover to protect the boy.
As a child, he completely adored her, wishing for Tsujimura to be his mother figure. Receiving the love and care he had wished for, while in the shadows Cordelia abused him for her own.
In his current age, he respects her for all the things she had done for him, while they still bond over small things. If Yui were to make him happy, would she still kill her… ?
Laito & Kanato Sakamaki (aunt)
She has a complicated relationship with both of them, knowing they were allowed to do as they please, while Ayato was held back inside the mansion.
Laito might be her slight enemy, knowing he had a sexual relationship with her lover. Yet she cares for him, knowing he didn’t do it for love.
She doesn’t really care about Kanato, ignoring the boy every time she enters the mansion, spending time with Ayato instead.
Subaru, Reiji & Shu Sakamaki (aunt)
Not much of a relationship between them, there’s been too little interaction to form a proper relationship other than being their aunt.
Subaru has a conflicted relationship with her, knowing she could heal his mother, but she refuses to during to being Karlheinz’ servant.
She only meets the Mukami family during school, when following Yui around. She does not think much of them, yet she shares the same interests as Mukami Ruki.
As a fellow Ruki stan I'd love to know how you'd rank his routes 🌸
// Sure thing! ^^
1. More Blood
You probably didn't see this coming, but I really enjoyed his MB route! I'm aware of how hated it is because of the cat scene, and while I disagree with Ruki's actions, they didn't ruin him for me. I just love how SASSY Ruki can be, even if some of his roasts are really mean, but I'm sure they're just there to make the audience laugh. I think the funniest one was when he told Yui "Today we will go home on foot. Why? Because a person such as yourself who doesn’t know how to stop when eating is very prone to put on some pounds after all.” He's so savage, and I love it, but I wouldn't want to deal with such a person in real life, lol. Aside from that, his last Ecstasy chapter was the first to make me cry, and his Vampire Ending was stunning, especially the kissing cg!
2. Chaos Lineage
Another unpopular choice because I've seen a lot of people complain about it being boring and lacking significant romantic interactions due to including his brothers too much, and while I can't say his route was very good, I still really like it! I'm glad Ruki was less obsessed with Karl there, and he seemed more relaxed and genuine overall. He even pouted at one point, which was so cuuute! I love the Mukamis, so I'm always up for family moments, and the romance was adequate, neither exaggerated nor non-existent.
3. Dark Fate
Would have given it a higher rating if Ruki hadn't been such a jerk in the first half, and what bothered me the most was how he treated his brothers. Kou had very good reasons to be mad at him, and it's already becoming frustrating because they're supposed to be best bros, yet Ruki and Kou always find a way to fight. What did I love about it? He got down on his knees and apologized to Yui for saying such horrible things. I was moved to tears by the scene in which he cried for her because I had not expected Ruki to do such a thing. Furthermore, his Vampire Ending is probably my favorite of all games; it's simply the best possible outcome for him and Yui.
4. Lunatic Parade
I don't remember much about LP, but his route was fun, and I think he was more flirty than usual there, which is a plus! Well, everyone had great LP routes in my opinion because that game was truly lighthearted!
5. Lost Eden
He was ideal in the first half of the route, but the second half irritated me greatly. Maybe I have high expectations, but are you really going to tell me that in the previous game, a "dummy" character only heard ONE thing about Karlheinz yet immediately connected all the dots about all his victims, realizing that he's truly the root of all evil because he was using everyone for his selfish desires and then… there's Ruki who 1) was told by Christa that Karl was Trismegiste aka the person who ruined his life, 2) went to Romania to read about the Revolution, where Trismegiste was mentioned, 3) had his ghoul-father tell him that Karl is Trismegiste and that he slaughtered a bunch of people to make ghouls out of them only to have Ruki say this "I'm sure Karlheinz-sama regretted his actions, that's why he gave our lives back". If he had regretted, he would have rewinded time long ago. I'm aware that different writers exist, but they should be more careful when writing these parallels because it can cast their own characters in a negative light, since one reaction will always be better than the other. Still really liked the lore and the fact Rejet learnt something about Romanian history.
6. Vandead Carnival
I enjoy VC as a game, but Ruki was a little too stiff for my liking. It wasn't bad, but I felt like Ruki was babysitting Yui for almost the entire route. :”)
