I am sorry but from where is everyone getting this idea of pure and innocent Hazel? Yes she is angelic in every aspect but has a one of the foulest of mouths. Remind you, she has perfect opinions of where Octavion can stick his wand and rides a horse whose vocabulary surpasses that of a falcon sailer. Her mouth has been literally washed by the nuns of academy for coloured children for her savage swears. In fac, Nico on the contrary,being brought up in a typical italian household with a strict sister is allergic to 'bad words'. While half of the camp will faint and cover their ears hearing hazel swear, she won't bat an eye and leave you burned. Go Hazel GO.

Friendly reminder-Nico was alone for almost more than an year (botl) and had explored most of the globe by shadowtravelling (accidentally of course) he had gotten over those shocks a long time ago and had probably visited Croatia two times before. He is nico di angelo dude, he knows the continents better than your geography teacher.

Jason was just 2 when he was adopted by Lupa's pack. He probably could identify words and make sense of what was being spoken but could not speak, knew a few words but could not speak. When he reached camp Jupiter all he could do to communicate was snarl,growl and maybe a few easy words like 'hello', 'jason', 'mommy', 'tha-lia'. The boy so young, so abandoned, someone who cannot speak reaching the camp only to be bound by the strict roman legacy which tells you to be selfless, it all makes me so sooo sad I can't even T.T

Um have you by any chance murdered someone cause with that grasp over blood and cruelness-

Nico di Angelo makes friends with Titans and monsters and can kill fellow demigods.

Do you know how thrilling this is to me? Because it’s proof that:

1/ Nico can see what the eyes can’t see. Nico evaluates others based on how they act, not how they look nor what they are. If you’re friendly, you can be his friends. If you’re hostile, he would eliminate you. That alone is an extremely invalubale skill in both gaining allies and eliminating potential enemies. Also, you can never guess his network of symbiotic lol. 

2/ Nico isn’t afraid. He isn’t afraid of monsters. He isn’t afraid of killing fellows. There’s mortal blood on his hands (well figuratively, since I don’t think insta-ghost someone would draw blood…). Killing brings burden, let me tell you, it’s a very haunting experience. But Nico can kill and he will kill. It makes this whole thing so much more serious than teenagers with their magical mythological beliefs. 

And I, a creature born of blood and cruelness, love him for that. 

hc that annbeth is a terrible singer sounds like mourning of a dying whale level of terrible and is super conscious of her voice. However, with percy, she can be herself and sing her heart out. On one such day when she is pouring her heart out all engrossed in the moment she realises her and percy aren't really alone, they are by the camp side and every single person now is quiet as hell and staring at her with a shocked expression. The perfecto annabeth who never let's her tongue slip just sung in front of the whole camp!? Not even a second full of silence but annabeth turned red as if an hour had passed by. Then percy,without skipping a beat, begins singing, horribly, as horrible as his throat could sound, like a call for death. And so does everyone,pretending nothing happened and competing on who could be sound uglier. And annabeth just Sar there, still red from embarrassment yet blushing furiously now. On the fact how her boyfriend whose voice was as melodious and mesmerizing as the sirens decided he was better off as this for her and the fact that the camp just accepted her and motivated her to be herself. She was never self conscious about it again.

I know we all love the god/deity Nico. But just consider. Nico mistaken as a god.

Why? Because srsly, just imagine it.

You’re a new camper. You’re 8,9,10,11—idk, and your siblings are giving you a tour around Camp. You guys reach the Big House, and there’s Chiron, Mr.D, and then him.

This kid - not so much older than you’re - who wears all back, a sword by his hip, a distinctly powerful around him, sitting at the same table with Dionysus and Chiron. They have been talking when you arrived. He greets you with a silent nod.

Later that day, you see him again at lunch/ dinner. Still sitting with Dionysus. His plate is empty. They talk through out the meal. Perhaps he doesn’t need to eat.

You notice he has a private house all for himself, not so close to other cabins. Maybe he doesn’t like others trespassing in his place.

He’s also the quiet and reserved type, you figure.

He doesn’t talk much. But when he speaks, everyone listens. Whatever he has to say is usually impactful.

He usually sits with the goddess Hestia during the campfire. Rarely someone joins them. Will Solace does sometimes, probably bc the guy’s friendly with just everyone.

You see him in the Arena. His power is absolutely terrifying. Like. God-tier.

You take note of the fact he sometimes leaves Camp for days on a mission or an errand. Something about ghosts and Underworld. As far as you know, no one else in camp does that kind of task. And you absolutely didn’t expect the Underworld to be so easily in and out of. Not for a demigod, at least, because even the mighty Percy Jackson dislikes going there.

He talks about Cerberus and the Furies and Charon and calls Hades “dad”. He must be a chthonic deity. That explains his attire.

And the name di Angelo. It certainly sounds someone to take souls to the afterlife. The name Nico should be the equivalent of Apollo’s Lester.

When another god, Apollo - or Lester, comes visit. You see how the Olympian playfully jokes around and laughs with the Kid. In response, the Kid acts completely relaxed around him, despite not being one of Apollo’s children, whereas you’re there being like Omg it’s a God!. You figure that’s how fellow gods treat each other.

Nico di Angelo must be a God, right?
