I actually really loved the scene where Sally is kind of yelling at Percy (when he locks himself in the car) and that’s because, in the books Sally is this ,,perfect, kind, fairy- like mother” which is ofc from Percy’s perspective, but I was afraid that they would make her literally like that in the show, which is just not realistic. She is a great mother, because she is caring, loving but also, in some points, strict, which evokes respect and, surprisingly, a sense of security. I love that the show doesn’t try to show that raising Percy was „easy” because it just…wasn’t. I was afraid that they will try to paint this picture of „good parenting” by painting Sally like a one dimensional character with “nice lady” qualities, but I’m nicely surprised.

Annabeth: I had a dream I got arrested for tax evasion.
Annabeth: which is weird because I don't even pay taxes.
Percy: Wise girl, that is tax evasion-

I feel like the nickname 'Wise Girl' began because baby Percy Jackson was instinctively ready to call Annabeth a 'wiseguy' but he paused at the last second and awkwardly switched the end to 'girl' and I'm so glad he did because it's adorable
