you continue glaring at the employee until he rolled his eyes at you, picking up the phone as he speaks in a condescending tone.

"sir, there's some low class people that want to see you... yeah, I'll call security- huh? does either of them have a black card? uh... I haven't asked-"

"yes i do!"

you exclaim loudly, hoping your voice would be able to reach the other end of the phone. and you think it did, with how the employee seemed confused that no one was replying to his words anymore.

"ugh, seems like sir is coming down to meet you two... consider yourselves lucky-"

"baby?! you're here?!"

the manager skips over to you, a lovesick expression on his face as he engulfs you in a hug. you merely smirk at the employee, flipping him off as the manager, aka your rich boyfriend, coddles you. hm... maybe you should get back at the employee?

"yeah, anyways, that guy over there tried to kick me out y'know? called me and my friend low class and all..."

you feel your boyfriend's grip tighten on you as he looks up to make eye contact with the employee. haha, you couldn't even feel bad for him after what he called you and your friend who just wanted to shop peacefully.

"you, get out. you no longer work here."

"b-but sir!"

"you're a low class scum too. never enter my sight again."

your boyfriend threatens, glaring at the front desk employee who gets dragged out by security.

Yandere Manager

Managers can teeter on the edge of being the most helpful and supportive authorities in your life or the worst. More often leaning toward the latter, it isn’t bizarre to feel helpless when they put a strain on your paycheck or your general health during and outside the work day. It’s infuriating and downright despairful when they use the power of management to make you miserable. But you can always file a report to HR or the branch head. Sometimes it’ll work but not always. More likely than not there’s more support for them further down the line which makes it even harder to contest.

“(Y/n) didn’t I tell you to smile when you’re at the front? S-M-I-L-E!”

But there’s something just as alarming about the manager who doesn’t have that. No favor from directors, open to the reprimands of human resources, and even a criminal record to boot. There’s something that compels you to listen when you look for an ounce of sympathy in those amber eyes to find a tempest of unhinged madness. You can only begin to visualize in a fever-driven nightmare.

That’s your manager.

The lovely, awful, and disastrous manager that fills you with helplessness like no other.

Yandere Manager is just so naggy. Not only to you but your coworkers as well because there’s always something to comment on. Even when it’s not insulting or condescending it just rubs everyone the wrong way.

“The way the uniform looks on you makes it look like we dragged you off the street.”

“....”

“....You’re the one who gave her a uniform that isn’t her size.”

“Yeah, but she’s the one who looks homeless. (Y/n) how about you mind your business and actually do your job. Thanks!”

Yandere Manager is especially unpredictable in his support of you. Sometimes joining unruly customers when they blame you for something you messed up on. While also defending you over something small that didn’t require anyone’s input let alone his. Situations with entitled customers is a coin toss with him.

“Miss I’ll just remake the drink for you.”

“No no, you don’t have to I just want to know what was used instead of oat milk.”

“Oh okay then it's…Mr. Manager?”

“....YOU!?”

“Me?”

“NEVER WALK INTO MY ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN!”

“IF YOU REFUSE TO LEAVE I’LL HAVE TO REMOVE YOU BY FORCE.”

“Wait! You don’t need the crossbow! Put it down!”

“DON’T EVER SPEAK TO MY EMPLOYEE EVER AGAIN!”

You can hardly pinpoint a pattern to his discord even after his honest confession when you catch him rifling through your things. But he won’t explain why he steals your lunch or makes fun of you in front of your coworkers. Or why he slashes your tires and breaks the windows of your home. It gets so bad you’re starting to think he uses this supposed obsession as an excuse for his behavior.

“Will you please explain why you broke into my car…for the fourth time?”

“Hmmm no.”

“...fine don’t. Now get out.”

“No I don’t think I will.”

“I have pepper spray and a tasor.”

“I can handle pepper spray.”

“Okay fine, you win this time.”

But despite your suspicions, he’s very much obsessed. Convinced he’s owed your affections he doesn’t mind breaking into your home, invading your personal space, and making light fun-as lovers do. No, his more sporadic actions happen to be something like knee-jerk reactions of his love for you. Similar to cuteness aggression. Because in his mind he’d prefer to break another window of yours than murder the family next door for looking at you too long.

“This will have to do for now. I mean they can’t pin me for their carelessness when driving into a ditch, right?”

Usually, he doesn’t mind just doing whatever he feels like but since you’ve caught and called the police on him he’s on a tight leash. Not because he’s at all afraid of the police. Not at all. It’s because then he’ll be breaking the hold he has on you. Let me explain.

The minute he did the slightest thing out of line you called the higher-ups who threatened him and assured you he’d be fired. Great. But when he cornered you in your own home with the possibility that this wouldn’t stop when he was fired you had to pause.

“Sure you might get rid of me at work but then you’ll never know where I am. Instead of staying at work with you, I might just be in your room or at your friend’s house, or in your car!”

“T-t-then I’ll call the police on you!”

“After I’ve already left? Well sure they can serve an order and arrest me if I’m too close but when I break out–and trust me I will–you’ll have no idea when or where I’ll be coming from. I’ll be a constant boogeyman over your life if you kick me out now.”

“.....”

“So don’t get me fired, kay?”

Yandere Manager who is only given a warning by his employers and police before you stop attempting to get others involved. As much as you hate to admit it, he’s completely right. For all the times you find him breaking in, already broken in, or stealing something of yours he’s never lied to you. The same can’t be said for others but even when he’s doing something wrong he’ll always be honest with you.

“Mister Manager? Did you do something to my lunch?”

“No! How dare you accuse me of such a deplorable thing! I should write you up.”

“....(Y/n)?”

“Clyde.”

“What?”

“Did you mess with his food?”

“Yes.”

“Dude are you serious?!”

Life with Yandere Manager isn’t going to be easy at first but when has it ever been for an employee like yourself? It’s best that you get used to your Manager’s obsession, heck it might help make your grueling shift a little bit better.

Like, my man just fucking loses it, totally seething at the notion that there are still people out there who don’t take him seriously. So he doxes you and finds out where you live. If you don’t reside by yourself, god help your partner, roommate(s), or family members. Your pets, too. They’re all dust. He waits for you to get home like a parent catching their kid in the act of sneaking out.

And of course, you never thought your shitposting would result in this — the leader of the League of Villains showing up and committing personal crimes against you. You’re flabbergasted when you return to your residence and find him there, amidst the carnage he’s left. It destroys your mind. You’ll never be the same again. You’re wracking your memories, trying to recall if you ever had an encounter with Shigaraki. It’s only when he cackles hoarsely and grins beneath that big, ugly hand that you make the connection.

With the sort of nonsense he's had to endure during his lifetime battling yakuza bosses and gangsters and unruly teenagers with the ego complex larger than Zeus himself, he has a pretty good reason to be protective and possessive and obsessive of you. The man here just wants to keep you safe at all costs no matter what and will do anything to ensure your safety, even if it means getting his hands dirty, for the sake of you to be happy. He just genuinely loves you. A lot to the extent that he's willing to murder people over it

He might have a stoic and aloof exterior and personality at times but he's a soft man at heart. He's someone who understands the passion of romance and he'll feel the flame of love igniting deep within his soul whenever he thinks of you. After all he's the one who's convinced Warren to love someone even if it's only temporary because in his opinion, a man truly becomes a beast and most powerful when he has a loved one to protect. This ex soldier here was quite lonely for a while without having a partner. He didn't really want to have a partner with raising his daughter Minji and him being worried about how she'd adapt to the new changes. However when Minji suggested he find himself a partner he was stunned to hear that from his daughter and decides to give it a shot anyway

A few days later he bumps into you, you work at the local bakery downtown and the second he steps inside your bakery, he's surrounded with warmth and the heavenly scent of baked goods lingering in the atmosphere as a soft smile forms on his face when his eyes land on you. You were busy baking some muffins and you had a pretty apron around your waist as you spotted him and waved towards him. When you smiled at him politely and greeted him and noted down his order, which was a red velvet cake with 2 blue berry muffins and 2 chocolate chip cookies, you mentioned that it might take a while to make. He didn't mind waiting honestly, it would give him an excuse to be in your bakery more and admire you. He struck up a light conversation with you and found growing attached to you rather quickly. However he did get slightly concerned when you told him that you lived alone, why would you live alone? There are so many dangerous things happening around the area in the country and you're living alone? That's something he's not too thrilled to hear about

You hand him his order in a box as your soft warm fingers brushes against his rough large calloused ones and he feels something warm creeping up inside him. A fuzzy warm feeling, a familiar spark and jolt of electricity and passion that he thought he might never get to feel before. His heart twinged slightly as he bade you a goodbye and sighed as he walked out of your bakery. However he started heading over to your bakery everyday, sometimes just to make conversation with you since he does find your company and presence rather pleasant. He doesn't want to burden you with the stories of his past from when he was Code 66 back during his military days nor does he want to tell you that he works at the white tiger job center for a certain fighting obsessed lunatic since he doesn't want to scare you off. He wants to protect you and shelter you from the bad things that keep happening. He can see the glimmer of innocence in your eyes, something that's quite rare these days since most people he's encountered were just plain egoistic corrupt people. But you're so different...a ray of sunshine in a dark world filled with chaos and entropy

He's an ex soldier with God tier fighting and detective skills. He'll ask Hansu to find out some information regarding you, ignoring the teasing from Jincheol about how he's fallen head over heels in love with you already. He just sighs and pointedly looks at him but he doesn't deny it. Hansu will end up finding everything about you in less than an hour and he'll have pages and pages of your biodata for Kim to take a look at. Kim knows he's being a bit out of line here but he just can't help but be curious. If you're in any kind of trouble or whatever he'll take care of the problem quickly. If someone's harassing after you or you have a creepy landlord, well good news for you because you don't need to pay your rent next month. Just ignore the broken bones and the bruises on the landlord given to him by a certain man who comes over to your bakery everyday

Have you seen this man fight? His kill ratio is insane, there's a reason people shiver when they're facing him against a fight. He might be soft and affectionate and warm towards you but when it comes to dealing with people to protect you, he'll be absolutely ruthless and will give zero damns who he's up against. He'll use his string and his fighting skills and put that person in the hospital for a while. Or just straight up murder them, depends on the sort of crime they do to you. Either way he will not relax or let it go if someone messes with you and harms even a single strand of hair on your pretty little head. When he goes on a murder rampage, not even Hansu and Jincheol would be able to stop him which is why they just let him do his own thing. Oh, and speaking of Hansu and Jincheol, congratulations, you now have them both looking out for you as well

His obsessive and possessive feelings for you would start when he feels like you're in danger from something. He'll invite you to stay over at his house for a few days and you can't even refuse him because the way he speaks will make you doubt yourself whether or not you're truly able to take care of yourself. You don't get a choice in this matter, you're staying with him and that's final. It's also a good time to introduce you to Minji. However little did you know, both father and daughter were obsessed with you. Minji greets you with a polite smile and she's finally glad she got to meet the person who's made her dad happy. She's another one who's willing to do whatever the hell it takes to ensure you'll stay with her dad. She's a sneaky one, if your coworkers are messaging you things she's not too pleased about, she'll sneakily delete their number from your phone and make it seem like you blocked them on social media. You're supposed to be with her dad, not some other undeserving person

Breakfast, lunch and dinner include you sitting with them and having your meal. Of course, no phone during that special time. Kim would love to do the cooking, he'll cook the best meals ever to ensure you have a good meal. He does get slightly tempted to embrace you from the back at times and kiss the nape of your neck softly while you're busy doing the dishes while Minji is secretly smirking to herself about how things are going well and how you're a part of their family now

If you try to go back to work, Kim might be a bit disgruntled at first but he'll allow you to do so to not seem controlling. However he'll fill your head with things like how you don't need to earn when he's there to take care of you and you could take a break for a while and such. He just wants to take care of you and shower you with his love. Minji would side with her dad too. They both are possessive over you, they know they're being possessive but they're overlooking it. It's for your safety after all. If you try leaving them, Minji would be hurt and upset and Kim would be hurt and devastated too. But he'd be determined to bring you back and it wouldn't take him long for him to find you. He'll just carry you in his arms and you can throw all the tantrums you want but he's not going to budge while he's taking you back home with him where you belong. He won't yell at you or raise his voice at you, he doesn't believe in hurting the ones he loves. But he'll gently chide you like a stern parent telling off a naughty child for their bad behavior. The next day the locks of the house will be changed and there'll be bars on the windows to prevent you from leaving

He's not completely heartless to prevent you from going outside either. He knows and understands you feel trapped which is why you'll still be allowed to go out. Provided it's with him or Minji. No more going out on your own, not even to the grocery store that's ten minutes away from the house either. However when it comes to someone taking you away from him...I want to say I hope they might be safe but who am I kidding at this point. He'll literally obliterate them from his path. How dare they mess with you, they'll literally pay with their lives. Or bones. He can't bear to see you cry, it hurts his heart. Minji and Kim would be on either side of you hugging you while you cry as Kim will gently brush away your tears and lovingly caress your cheek. You're his and he'd do anything to make sure it stays that way...

Yandere!Idol Group and Yandere!Manager Profiles

Here it is people, the yandere profiles of the members of the popular idol group: DI4MANTE + and their tired manager.

Alain Kumar • 26

Alain is the leader of the group, and the sweetest one too. His fans have dubbed him the unofficial "mother" of DI4MANTE, and he certainly lives up to the role. That same kindness and sweetness extends to the group's lovely assistant manager, Y/N, and is doubled even further.

The man cooks, cleans and would do it all without asking if it means being able to show what a suitable husband he'd be for you. He's also incredibly protective. What kind of lover would he be if you got hurt?! Or even worse- He doesn't like thinking too much about such horrible things.

His position as the leader of DI4MANTE also means he gets to fuss over you as much as he likes. Ever since the group got a new assistant manager to "relieve the burden off Haneul's shoulders", he's been doing everything he can under the privacy of the dressing rooms to help you in any way possible.

Going to grab waters for the group? Let him help! He's been working out with Devante recently and there's no way he could let their lovely, fragile assistant manager lift such heavy packs!

He also makes sure to prepare meals for you too! What do you mean it should be your job? No way, he's the leader of the group and he should do what he can to make sure you don't exhaust yourself. He'd still happily take any meals you give him though, and savour every spoonful.

Isa Valentine • 24

Isa's the princely one, with heavenly vocals to match. He's also the most popular member of DI4MANTE and for good reason too. His ethereal looks and naturally flirty persona has garnered a rather large fanbase. Fans also speculate whether "Valentine" is even his real surname or not.

The man appears to be perfect in every way...or so it seems. Away from the cameras, underneath that dazzling persona of his lies a rabidly obsessive individual, desperate to keep his dear assistant manager as single as possible, and willing to smear his own name by causing a scandal. Haneul has managed to hold Isa back from doing so, thankfully, but Isa's patience can only last for so long.

Isa, in one word, is a pervert. Ever since their darling assistant manager walked into their lives, his world has never been the same. He wants you to touch him, look at him, kiss him. He's definitely stolen a few of your chapsticks or lipsticks and used them before.

Out of the group, he is the second-most easily jealous yandere. If you're not paying attention to him, or praising him for breathing, his mood is downright awful. Fights have been started because he thought a member of the group or some backstage staff member was taking too much of your time. Only Devante, Alain and Haneul can hold him back when he starts going off on other innocent staff members.

So much for being a princely man.

Devante Velasco • 28

One of the main rappers of DI4MANTE, next to Alain. He's also notorious for being the fitness buff of the group, with his social media being chock full of gym pics...not that his fans would complain. Devante's the strongest of the group, and also the most possessive and jealous yandere too. The amount of water bottles that were crushed by his fearsome grip are overflowing. Devante absolutely hates the idea of you, his darling assistant manager, being in a relationship or even talking to anyone outside of their little circle. If he could, he would kill every single person who's touched you or looked at you a little too keenly for his tastes. There are way too many times that Haneul had to step in before he scared off some poor intern who was just asking you for help and caused a scandal.

Speaking of scandals, Devante has way too many to count and there have been petitions to kick him out of the group ever since you joined. Haneul has done a pretty good job covering the real reason behind the bar fights and all, but there's only so much that the company can do before people start piecing together the fragments of truth that have slipped past the eyes of the company.

It doesn't help that Devante has made it a point to find a way to leave a visible mark on his cute little assistant manager as often as possible. From little hair clips, necklaces, at one point he even offered to give you matching temporary tattoos! (He would go with a real one, but Alain persuaded him not to because that would cause way too much trouble for the group, internally and externally). Yes, Devante does have tattoos, several of them, that his diehard fans have tattooed on themselves as well. Devante's fans are the scariest, and if word ever got out about his obsession with the new assistant manager? Blood will be splilled.

Matthew (Mattie) Rhys • 22

Mattie is the youngest in DI4MANTE, and also the most obsessive. He has made a shrine to his lovely assistant manager, full of pictures and little scraps that you may have left behind. Isa had tried to steal some of the shrine's items for his own use, but that was before Mattie struck a deal with him, as suggested by Haneul, that the two of them could contribute to the shrine instead of fighting over it all the time. There's only one assistant manager and they can only contribute so much.

Mattie is like a puppy in love when it comes to the group's lovely assistant manager. He wants all your attention, and will try every way to get it. From "accidentally" hurting himself to outright interrupting your conversations to drag you off somewhere else. He will try anything as long as it means you're with him as much as possible. Needless to say, Haneul has a field day when it comes to the group's division of their time with their assistant manager.

Also, don't be fooled by Mattie's innocent looks. He may look sweet and innocent in front of the cameras and to everyone else backstage, but his members know his true colours. Underneath lies a deeply jealous and lowkey manipulative man, who has managed to keep the innocent facade up in front of you to the point that he could touch you inappropriately and still brush it off as an "accident".

Haneul Kang • 30

The Manager of DI4MANTE, who is seriously overworked. It's why he suggested bringing on an assistant manager in the first place. While his general idol management workload has decreased significantly since your appearance, his emotional workload has doubled. It frustrates Haneul that the boys of DI4MANTE has set their sights on you when if it wasn't for them, he could have you all to himself.

However, he still agreed to Alain's proposition to work together as a team when it comes to keeping your affections and attention focused on them. It's easier to keep the rats away when there's a whole group to keep watch after all. Even so, dealing with the frequent fights caused by Devante and Isa is no easy task, that and the many scandals that have arose since your entry into the group's dynamics. Haneul doesn't mind...too much, however. If it is for you, no obstacle is hard enough to overcome.

Haneul's another protective yandere, and he has worked with Alain several times to make sure you're not overworking yourself or placing yourself in harm's way. The amount of jobs lost in the company is a suitable sacrifice. People who could endanger your well-being don't deserve to be in your presence anyways.

Overall, Haneul is a massive enabler for DI4MANTE. He sees no reason to discourage their affections for you (so long as it's only the 5 of them and no one else), and is happy to keep the group's image as clean as possible as long as it means that you'll stay with them.

You were the manager of an absolute powerhouse of a volleyball team. Inarazaki’s volleyball team. Despite being the manager, you didn’t really do much. You tried to do your job, but they wouldn’t let you. They wouldn’t let you because you were more there for support. It was well known by now that they genuinely could not play when you weren’t there. If you weren’t watching and cheering for them, they were sure to loose. They needed you, not only for games but also because you were like a little sibling to them you were their precious manager. They need you.

“Calm down, you’re going to get nothing done by freaking out” Kita says in reaction to Atsumu’s panic. They had lost you. They had lost their manager! They had tried to call you, only to remember your phone had died on the bus ride to the game because you and Aran had been watching movies. All of the team had split up, eventually coming back together. None of them have found out. Until a voice cut through.

“I think you have our manager there” Suna says, seeing you bounce up to the team with the captain of Karasuno next to you. “Thanks for helping!” You say kindly, grabbing the water bottles out of Daichi’s hands. He had insisted on helping you. “Sorry, I went to go fill up water bottles and got lost. This place is way to big” you sigh, seeing the way your team was glaring at Daichi.

“Aren’t you all supposed to be stretching? Go, go stretch!” You command to the team. You would’ve clapped to have made your point more but you still had the water bottles in your hand. “Need any help with that?” Daichi asks, watching Osamu immediately take the bottles out of your hand and Atsumu bringing his arm around your shoulders and quickly leading you away from him.

“You all are so dramatic, he was just being nice” You say, the whole team making sure to walk you all the way back to the stands. The team had always acted weird when people were nice to you or ‘flirted’ with you. They were incredibly over protective. To be fair, you almost wish they hadn’t interrupted. You had to be honest, Daichi was quite dreamy.

It wasn’t long before the game actually began, and they were playing hard. They weren’t trying to win, there was fury behind their serves and hits. Because you were their manager, and the way Daichi kept glancing over at you through out the game didn’t go unnoticed by team. It was clear he had an interest in you, which they just couldn’t have. They couldn’t have you getting your heart broken

The way you cheered for them only made them want to beat them even more. “Go Inarazaki! Go!” You cheered. You even would cheer for them individually. None of them minded. Even Atsumu who loathed when people cheered during his serves. He loved when you did it.

“You all did so good!” You squeal bouncing up to them after they successfully beat Karasuno. You immediately hold out your arms waiting for the boys to pile on top of you into a hug. Which they do immediately as usual. You keep going on about how proud you are of them, not noticing the stares Daichi’s giving you and the team.

“Good job” Daichi says approaching you all. The boys glare at him, trying to silently tell him to go away. “You did really good too- I mean- you know, your team did really good” you say nervously, glancing down at the floor as if to avoid his eyes. Sadly he doesn’t get to have a response to your flustered state as Atsumu proceeds to stick his tongue out at Daichi.

“We will be off celebrating our victory with our manager” Atsumu says quickly leading you away. You wave quickly at Daichi before the team drags you away. They always wanted to be with you especially after they won, they just wanted to hear you praise them.

You didn’t mind being dragged away from him though, knowing about the sticky note in your pocket. On it was written Daichi’s number which he had written before the team interrupted you the first time. The team couldn’t be overprotective over you if they didn’t know you were talking to him.

Hi! Anon that wrote the huge ask about the yandere Night Lord (and implied yandere Salamander) scenario (the one with the in between pink coloured words), Ive been having thoughts about it again. And you know, the whole Knight fighting a Dragon dynamic becomes really funny when you think about how narrative-wise, all space marines are dragons.

A space marines, just like dragons. Are big huge monstercreatures who (in most cases) randomly arrive into a settlement of innocent people and wreak havoc all over the place (destroying cities, killing innocents, probably stealing some stuff if its a xenos settlement, and so on and so forth). They’re powerful, clever, and very hard to kill. You must kill them nonetheless. But the only difference between them and dragons is that space marines are, theoretically, on your side. They’re humanised enough for you to overlook the atrocities they commit. They’re doing this because it will help out humanity in the long term, they’re doing this because their primarch said so, they’re doing this because they think its right. But in the end it all boils down to how they have no other option, or a better way of phrasing it: its all that they can do. They’re made to kill. They’ve been irreparably transformed into something horrible and theres no going back from that, and its not like they had any choice in the matter either. You could even say that this mirrors the trope of someone’s greed and ego being the cause of a dragon to appear in a story (that someone in question being The Emperor)

So i find it kind of funny that in this scenario the Salamander sees himself as a knight. Like babe! You’re no different from any other space marine!! The fact that his legion interacts with people more doesn’t change who he is. He has just convinced himself that what he is, is noble. Like he’s some sort of symbol of hope and strength instead of being a walking talking murder weapon. He’s a dragon thats been brought up to think his scales are chainmail and that his claws are swords, that he’s totally not like his traitorous cousins, that he’s humanity’s loyal house dog instead of a fire breathing beast chained to a leash.

Yes he is fighting to save you, yes he loves you more than words could ever express. But to an outsiders perspective this isn’t a brave hero battling a monster to save his beloved, its two serpents fighting over the most sparkling jewel in a treasure hoard

I vehemently adore all of this. Particularly the part about how they think of themselves; As from their view of the story, they're the hero, but another might view them as the villain. Forgive my unfiltered, unrevised ramblings.

It reminds me of a moment from (I believe it was Unremembered Empire? forgive me if I'm wrong) where the Night Lords are waging war on Macragge and the civilians are seeing other Astartes besides the Ultramarines in action for the first time and realizing that, holy shit, these guys are actually horrifying. And looking at their 'protectors' in a whole new light. The Ultramarines proclaim they're different because they choose to be, but we've seen before that even the friendliest of space marines can change their tune when they feel it appropriate.

But back on topic. Salamanders.

Something relevant would be that even their beloved might possibly view them as that brave hero, at first. But as time goes on, they might see cracks in that visage and realize that the man guarding them is more beast than man, holding back a near animalistic desire for carnage. We know that even the most loving of Salamander is more than capable of being an emotionless killer when he desires it. Hell, you could even say it's a core part of them; It's not like you can muzzle a dragon. You can at best point them in the direction you want them to go.

Your Salamander might spare you some of the goriest of details, or the darkest parts of him, but you can see the tail wrapped around you, and how you're kept so close not only because of your safety, but also because he sees you as his. You're the treasure he's found, you're the jewel that rests on top of a pile of gold, and you're not going anywhere. He always looks at you(his treasure) fondly, but there's a possessiveness in his eyes that only gets worse over time.

Other Salamanders are seen as threats and thieves if they get too close. He's the hero of this story, duty bound to protect you even if he has to get his hands bloody. It's all for a purpose, therefor he's leagues different than the Night Lords that act as his chapter's opposite.

If you ever have to do your job or duty, and interact with other Salamanders or other members of humanity he's always right there; Guarding his treasure. And while he might technically be on a leash, it's extremely taught.
