He sees a person who is in need right now, there is no monster fox and that's why he tells the group to stop as he helps you up although you slap his hand away, not trusting anybody.

🎣 Soon Gon realizes that the whole town despises you whenever he catches you outside just coldly enduring everything since this is the norm for you. You look terribly lonely and bitter and Gon decides to change that. He's never been scared to approach dangerous people and you don't even strike him as one. He suddenly pops up around you and tries to befriend you. Obviously you reject him, perceive him as annoying but that isn't something that discourages Gon. He has a sunshine aura around him, sincerely wants to help you a bit by showing you that not everyone must hate you. You eventually stop pushing him away although you still ignore him. It's undeniable that he has started worming his way into your heart though. Deep down you do want someone you can rely on too.

🎣 He's so happy when he notices that he pushes through your shell, promises that he'll be a loyal and good friend. He spends lots of time with you but during this time his feelings change. He sees a side to you you're too afraid to show since you fear that people will use it to weaken you. You're utterly adorable though and he encourages you to let your feelings freely flow when he's with you since you can trust him. He grows more protective, exposes a more threatening side when he sees how people bully you cruely. Without a doubt he asks you at one point to come with him to a safer place as he grows paranoid with the amount of abuse you go through daily. He's sure that you would be happier with him too! Gon might even try to kidnap you as he doesn't believe that you would ever hurt him, not considering Kurama inside of you. If you have an amicable relationship with the fox spirit, Gon would grow to like him too.

Killua Zoldyck

🪀 He has turned his eyes away a lot from the misery of others due to his family but meeting Gon made him develop more empathy for others. He's completely unaware of the situation of the village upon walking randomly in it. He only knows that something is definitely wrong when he sees people shunning you out as soon as they see you. They instantly stop chatting and turn their back to you, some even call you rude names. It isn't until someone throws a rock after you that he steps in with frightening speed and catches it before it can hit you. You have a surprised look on your face before your face hardens and you turn away without even thanking him. Something on your face reminds him of himself when he was younger and he only finds out later that day what exactly you are.

🪀 Gon has been there for him and he feels like you need someone too who helps you to escape from your own darkness. Killua isn't sure if he can do that but he wants to try since he sympahtizes with you. He's less persistent than Gon since he understands that you don't trust anyone besides yourself. He just lingers around you and steps in when someone tries to harass you again, scaring them away. He doesn't see you as a monster since you're just innocent, he on the other hand has murdered people without having a demon inside of him so he sees himself more of a monster than you. Killua is weirdly honored when you slowly trust him and spend time with him. Most of the time he insists on spending inside since the chances to be disturbed here are lower than if you two would go to the city.

🪀 You are so much more behind that sheltered and stoic facade, refreshing and absolutely lovely. Killua can't help the feelings he develops with time for you, a darker obsession born out of sheer paranoia and protective instinct. He doesn't want to leave you alone since he just knows that someone will try to get to you again, stalks you when you want to be alone. His intimidation increases dangerously and the air starts suffocating one as soon as he catches someone trying to harm you. Believing that his actions are justified due to his love for you, people are bound to disappear around you. He tries to keep you isolated in your house until he breaks and embraces you in a tight hug, begging you to come with him. You shouldn't stay here, it's too dangerous. He tries to stay rational and not rash things when it comes to abducting you, he doesn't want to trigger Kurama inside of you. Especially if he knows that it would harm you if he comes out.

Kurapika Kurta

⛓️��During his pursuit after the Phantom Troupe, he stumbles onto the village where he meets the person that will change his life forever. He plans to stay a bit in here and regain some energy before he continues travelling. That's when he's hit with the gossip of the town as they feel the need to warn him since he's new. To stay away from you since you're a vicious person with a demon inside of you. Kurapika is not prone to fall for such rumors though. He doesn't even know that it's you when he walks around in the forest and sees you there. You ignore him for the most part since he doesn't distract you. When he sees you later in the city again as you try to buy something but are constantly rejected, he realizes who you are and helps you to get what you want. He's somewhat disgusted with the behavior of the villagers.

⛓️ He offers you to try to help you as much as he can during his stay although he understands why you're hesitating. He's not in the mood to mingle with any of the people in the village though now that he's seen their unjustified discrimination against you and finds himself hanging more around you when he catches you. He's not forcing you into conversations and lets you decide the course of the interaction. You two grow close as you mellow out around him and he softens up too, growing more protective over you. He stays longer than intended at first since he feels uneasy to leave you. It happens for the first time when you wind up injured because he wasn't there for a moment that he snaps at whoever did this to you and harms them too, you have to hold him back as he glares intensely at the culprit.

⛓️ After that he truly starts to break. Suddenly he grows overbearing, barely leaves you alone and refuses to let you into the village. He insists to buy you everything you need, makes a fuss over small scratches and dotes on you a lot. He's realized that he loves you and is terrified that you'll be killed out of sheer spite and fear by the villagers. He wants to take you away so badly, tries to guilt-trip you to leave together with him so he can bring you to a place that is safer and isolated. Kurapika blames the fox, even if you should have found a friend in him. He probably would have even considered finding a way to get him out if it wouldn't be for the fact that you're going to die if Kurama would be extracted from you. He stresses himself extremely out, more than you do, with the situation in the village and lashes out as soon as he hears someone sneering at you or getting too close to you. The fact that everyone hates you only worsens his paranoia.

Leorio Paradinight

🧳He might talk a lot about how you can have anything with money but it's no secret that Leorio has a big heart for others. He doesn't need to understand what is going on in this city, it's enough for him to witness how you're kicked out of a store you just went in and how people mock you and make fun of you. Leorio gets angry when he sees this, hastens to you to help you stand up before raising his voice madly against everyone. How can they just treat someone like this? He strives to be a doctor, has already certain knowledge and quickly checks the few bruises and injuries you sustained. When he dares to ask you why you're treated like this, you stare at him confused before you huff and ask if he's new here. He nods, a bit confused, and you just spit the truth angrily in his face, expecting him to fear you.

🧳Instead he looks at you for a few moments before saying that you don't seem like a monster to him, you seem actually like a nice person. The comment flusters you as you aren't used to such flattery. He honestly feels sick when he hears the talk of the citizens and watches how you're sheltered from the community. He's determined to let you know that there's one person who likes you though, spends more time with you and accompanies when you're in the village so that he can protect you. You're grateful and expose a tender and sweeter side to him you usually don't show others and that is what makes him fall head over heels for you in the end. He can't even begin to fathom why anyone would think of you as a vicious beast. This vicious beast might just turn out to be your sole friend too.

🧳The people in this place are clearly in the wrong about you. He grows aggressive and very verbal and loud at one point, shouts at someone if they made a cruel remark about them and if they provoke him, he might even be about to throw hands. He focuses on helping you to heal as good as he can too. He constantly tries to make you laugh by telling jokes or acting in a way not fitting for his age if it means making you smile. Leorio is normally not someone who holds grudges or despises someone but the people in here might just manage to make him go through all of this. Illumi Zoldyck

🤎 The only reason he comes to this mundane village is because he has a mission. His target just happens to spend some time in there too so he obviously follows them and stalks them briefly before he goes for the kill. That should be it but he happens to catch the stories going through the village about how you're a monster since a powerful demon is inside of you. Illumi has to admit that this peaks his curiosity, he never heard about something like this before. He starts stalking you a bit and quickly sees how you're made the scapegoat for everything. Even his victim is thought to be killed by you and honestly, that hurts his pride a bit. You're a clumsy commoner, you could never pull out such a clean kill like an assassion. He wonders wat your true powers are though.

🤎 Your precarious situation catches his attention as he's somewhat fascinated with how much you're hated and jeered at. He admires you for never crying about it though as you instead swallow everything down. Illumi even watches you when you're home where he sees a different side to you, a side he realizes with time only he knows about. That makes him feel good for some reason, knowing that he's the only one who gets to see you like this. Due to his moments with you, he starts feeling weirdly possessive over you. He's actually glad that no one besides him knows your secrets and has seen your softer side. Having him turning obsessed and possessive means the worst or the villagers though as every bruise and injury you suffer is effectively like signing a death certificate.

🤎 People are suddenly found dead everywhere and the village panics and turns their blame and hatred towards you again. You're terrified since you know that they won't believe you, you even start fearing that they might kill you. Obviously your silent protector would let that never happen but he sees in your fear a chance to lure you to him. He's careful though as he still hasn't seen how strong the sealed demon inside of you really is. If you can control that power and would submit to him though, he's sure you'd be a perfect spouse for him. His needles should help in an emergency. Extracting the demon from you would end in your death so he's cancelled that thought out for now. You flee before things can escalate, no real attachment to your old home. You don't even notice that someone is swiftly following you. Don't worry though, he'll introduce himself very soon in the bluntest way possible to you.

Meruem

👑 You've gone through so much shit in your life already as everyone hates you and wishes for you to just disappear together with the fox sealed inside of you. You've dealt with this your entire life, hold a huge grudge against everyone in this so called "home" of yours. Yet ironically enough when Chimera Ants start attacking your village and people are captured and killed, Kurama is the one who saves you. It's pure survival instinct and fear that unlocks a portion of the power you hold, something Meruem senses even if he isn't present during the attack. He later on demands from one of the foot soldiers to tell him what happened and they shake out of fear when they tell him that a human in a village attacked and murdered countless of the soldiers. Meruem tells them coldly that they should have taken you and for that have failed before he beheads them with his tail.

👑 Whatever you used, it wasn't Nen and that is bound to interest the king. There's another power besides Nen and he wants it. He orders his royal guards to search for you and also look into the destroyed village for clues. They return with the information that you have a demon sealed inside of you and Shaiapouf advices to be careful, something that ends in a harsh slap from his king since he isn't dumb. His inital plan to kill you are out of question, he wants the power of the demon and killing you might end in Kurama's death too. To his Youpi finds you and takes you to the palace, throws you in front of Meruem's throne as the kind demands you to tell him more about the fox and how to achieve that power. When finding out that you don't know how to get Kurama out of you, he imprisons you until he finds a way to extract the power from you and make it his own.

👑 He often demands your presence as he wants to talk more to you about Kurama or see a glimpse of your power. With time he eventually starts hearing your stories about how you were treated and how you can't even feel any sorrow for the villagers, you'd lie if you'd say that you have never wished them the worst misery ever. Your stories somewhat entertain the king so he listens to them. At one point he starts respecting your mental strength for never breaking despite all the abuse and that respect eventually turns into admiration and then into something much darker. Suddenly he wants you all the time with him to keep an eye on you, grows extremey hostile around Shaiapouf since the butterfly despises you for spending so much time around the king. The notion of you dying after extracting the Kyuubi suddenly isn't a indifferent subject for him anymore since he doesn't want you dead. The king wants to keep you.

*Blushes* Oh, dearest friend! I am but a humble Hunter x Hunter fan! I’m honored that my writing brings you such joy! My special thanks for your support and care! (Seriously, thank you so much!!!). Now, Ladies and Gentlemen… I present you your nightmares for the next week: Yandere!Meruem.

Meruem.

If we were making a list of “Worst Yanderes of the HxH Cast”, Meruem would easily be on the top 10, for several reasons and this is regardless of whether this happens before his character development or after. In all cases, you’re in serious trouble.

There are actually many ways you can meet. Maybe you worked at the palace. Perhaps you have a friend/relative that Meruem “called” for a game. Maybe you were Komugi’s friend and insisted on coming along in order to help her (Translation: Wanting to make sure no one would take advantage of the fact that she’s blind). There are many options. Anyway, Meruem may decide you can stick around… You can be of some help running the palace. Your intention of helping your friend/relative might be interesting. As long as you don’t stay in the way, there is no harm in letting you stay with Komugi…

Sadly, things don’t get better when Meruem starts to… Notice you a little more.

Oh, it starts innocently enough. Maybe he catches you reading a certain book. Maybe he looks out and sees you tending the garden. Maybe he even hears you talking about games with the current player he has around… Not that your interactions, little as they might be at first, are exactly pleasant. At this moment, Meruem is very much a “king” and sees humans as nothing more than either annoyances or cattle and this is made clear whenever he speaks with you…

Now, regardless of your personality and temper, you wouldn’t be dumb to push his buttons after seeing how he kills without remorse, yes, but there are times when a polite and controlled answer can still surprise someone. And this could happen especially if you end up revealing a point of view that Meruem did not expect or that made no sense to him… Oh, even if he wanted to brush it off (the whole “does a lion concerns himself with the opinion of the sheep?” mentality), he would think about it from time to time… Remember that Meruem can be considered a curious creature: He liked to read and learn, so if you did things that he couldn’t understand, he would want to talk with you. Maybe he catches you doing a hobby and he starts to ask about it, maybe you comment something about the book he caught you reading…

Those are not the happiest of interactions for you (again, remember how arrogant Meruem was and the fact that he wouldn’t hesitate to kill you), but because of them, Meruem starts to pay attention to you…

You should have stayed as far away from this creature as you could.

At first, Meruem rationalizes his feelings as if they were equations. He wishes for your presence? He’s used to it, he supposes. He enjoys watching you when you’re in the gardens? That’s one of the few times when you seem… Less tense. It gets boring when you’re always with your guard up. He enjoys your conversations? You might be an idiotic human being, no better than cattle, but there are times when you say something interesting… He… He enjoys seeing you smile? Well, he supposes it looks pleasant… And if he feels some affection for you… It’s no different from what a human must feel for a pet, right? Yes, he supposes you are sort of a pet for him, after all, you’re useless in the long run, but he still enjoys having you around.

Now, just one thing… This whole “pet” thing is not in the usual demeaning and cruel sense. Meruem is not even human, for starters and he won’t force you to wear a collar or do tricks. But that doesn’t mean this is a good thing, either. He starts to realize his affection is deeper than he previously thought and his rationalizations no longer feel so certain.

Meruem wants you to be around more often (if you work in the castle, he doesn’t care, he can get others to do your work, anyway). He wants to talk with you. Once he starts to think about it, he is unsure of why. It’s like there’s something he wants from you, but he doesn’t understand it himself. And for reason… He wants to make you smile…

Cute, uh? Beauty and Beast and all that?

No. Not even close.

It doesn’t take long for Meruem to understand that he simply wants you. All of you. Not as a pet, but as his mate. And since he’s the King, this means he can take whatever he wants. Besides, who could compete with him? After all, he has absolute power, he’s the epitome of all evolution! Sure, perhaps his mate should be more like him in the matters of strength, but in the end, he doesn’t care about that. Besides, if there is no one as powerful as him anyway, then what difference does it make? Hell, he doesn’t even care whether have Nen or not!

Meruem may try some courting at first (if for no other reason than instinct. It’s not only mammals that have rituals to court/attract a mate), finding out about common human courtship rituals and attempting a few of them, such as having dinner together and giving you presents… And it’s disturbing because there is a new sort of intensity to Meruem’s behavior and the way he talks to you. His gifts. How he often tells you to sit next to him or to come closer. If you were ever bullied or hurt, Meruem can and will find out about it and bring the person over to kill them before you. In his mind, it’s his way of showing you how he won’t allow anyone to harm what’s his (and his way of disposing of said people would be pretty horrific).

This courtship, however, wouldn’t last very long. First, Meruem doesn’t see much of the point (again, the king mentality at play), and second, he would soon realize this is not having the desired effect, so it’s better to make things clear. No matter. In the end, you’re already his. Maybe once you understand this, those “romantic” gestures will be better accepted.

Whether you confront him about his behavior or not, Meruem will make things clear soon: He loves you. There is nothing more to it. Even if this is the last straw and you protest as much as possible, Meruem will just wrap his tail around your back, forcing you to come closer and say, in a low tone, that you’re his mate. Oh, he is being patient and letting you get used to the idea, but that doesn’t change the facts.

Note that the way he, at some point, starts to caress you with his tail (stinger included) does nothing to soothe your worries. It’s not even that Meruem makes it clear that you have no say in the matter or how twisted his logic is when you try to argue, it’s something about how he does those things. The way he says he loves you and tries to soothe you when he notices your distress.

Meruem won’t toss you inside a cage, but he doesn’t need to. The palace is a cage. Even when you try to escape, Meruem (or his Guards) catches you easily and, at times, he treats your attempts as an amusing, cute game. He doesn’t need to chain you physically, the moment you start to rebel too much for his tastes, he will remind you that your family is out there and he can kill them whenever he wants… Or, when he’s particularly displeased, he may outright tell you that if you did escape, for each day that you were away, he would bring one (or more) human to the palace and kill them.

It's pretty much a new version of Hell that you didn’t think could exist. Meruem doesn’t even have to take care or hide his most possessive traits, since neither of you ever leaves the palace (and besides, who would challenge Meruem and win?). Nothing you say or do seems to get to him and his answers are always twisting things around to suit his own worldview. It’s not even due to him not being human, it’s more because of his mind. Oh, he won’t be physically violent with you, but that means little when he has other methods in case your “misbehavior” starts to get on his nerves. He is doing his best to be patient, but you’re not helping. You say you feel caged? Humans take animals and place them in zoos or sea parks. They cage birds and expect them to sing, don’t they?

You’ll adapt. Besides, he’s treating you far better than a caged animal.

Meruem honestly doesn’t understand your rejections (he loves you, he can provide for you, he can make it so you will want for nothing… Why would you reject him?), but in the end, is of no importance to him. Humans had arranged marriages during a certain time. They didn’t love their partners at first but would fall in love after a while.

He’s sure the same will happen once you get used to your new life and realize how better off you are. Right now, you just need a while to adapt, like a little animal that has been relocated… He doesn’t like it when you ask to be set free or when you’re so tired of everything that you end up crying, but that doesn’t mean he regrets his actions. Not a little bit. He simply embraces you then, whispering that he loves you. Even his attempts at “comforting” you feel more as if he was slicing you up. Again: It doesn’t help when he rationalizes the whole situation in a way that makes Illumi seem like a reasonable, understanding person.

But in the end, nothing matters for Meruem except keeping you with him.

(A little note about the Guards. Pitou and Youpi would watch over you and perhaps even come to regard you as their Queen, but their loyalty would always belong to Meruem. As for Pouf, he would despise you at first, then accept you a little better as Meruem’s pet… Then, surprisingly, he would take you becoming Meruem’s mate a lot better than anything that had to do with Komugi. First off, Meruem isn’t exactly changing for the best here. Second, Meruem making things “official” by claiming you as his mate/queen has a certain psychological effect, let’s say. Pouf may still consider you unworthy and dislike you, but he sure as hell won’t ever try to harm you – except when he drags you back to the palace when you almost escape).

oh this sweet, sweet boy. he wouldn’t have a damn clue until it’s blatantly obvious. he would see that you’re getting hurt more often and think that someone is giving you trouble. he wouldn’t realize that you’re manipulating him at all.

when someone points out what you’re doing, he’ll start to catch on a bit, but he’ll come talk to you about it and hope for the best. if you’ve anticipated this, you likely have an ace up your sleeve… like, kidnapping or maybe getting rid of that person(s) or maybe even some more manipulation.

depending on what kind of yandere the reader is, gon will catch on at some point. it might take him a few weeks or maybe a few years- it all depends on how crafty you are.

now, when gon finds out, he’s devastated. he’s angry and hurt and upset. he doesn’t know why you’re doing this. maybe he can help you? you seem to have a twisted sense of love… maybe it was a product of your childhood, or maybe it’s something else. either way, gon wants to help.

KILLUA ZOLDYCK:

Killua will catch on right away. He can sense your bloodlust and will call you out on it. He doesn’t like it. It reminds him of his childhood. He will go to any length to avoid you if you don’t ‘quit your shit’.

Killua is a bit interested in why your love for him is like this, but will only make assumptions. He doesn’t want to get too close to you anymore. I will admit that i can see him being slightly scared of you. it doesn’t matter if he’s stronger than you or not- i think he’d worry about gon and try to distance himself. killua would induce his own lonliness for awhile.

If you kill to get his attention, he’ll just kill you. I genuinely think that manipulation is the only way to get to him, but you’ve got to be better than Illumi was (which is a hard task in itself). Good luck on getting him to bend to your will.

KURAPIKA KURTA:

kurapika would be suspicious of your behavior but wish for the best. i don’t think he’d catch on too quickly, but he’d be keeping an eye on you. when he finds out, he’s horrified. you’ve been doing this because of him?

in all honesty kurapika would be one of the easiest targets. he would flash back to his clan’s massacre and be absolutely fucking horrified- angry, but horrified. he would be angry that you were doing these things, but he’d be scared too. he can’t use The Judgment Chain on you. It would kill him! He needs to find his clan’s eyes!

If you find his Clan’s eyes for him and send them to his house, he’ll be forever grateful. i think this would be the way to his heart to be honest. like, i think he would feel indebted to you and try to do right by you because of it.

i also think that if you manipulate him enough, he’ll stay.

LEORIO PARADINIGHT:

Leorio is over the fucking moon when he finds out that he has someone that loves him. especially someone his type! i don’t think he would know about your behaviors at all until it was too late. leorio is the easiest target. you can’t change my mind.

when leorio finds out, he’s scared. he can’t use nen! he’s not strong! he doesn’t have a lot of stamina! what is he supposed to do?!

i think that leorio would try to leave but once he knows that you have eyes on him at all times, he just gives up. he feels like there’s nothing he can do. just let him continue to be a doctor and he’ll be okay.

HISOKA MORROW:

oh god, this sick fuck would cream his pants when he finds out. i think it would be a mutually yandere relationship as soon as he finds out. just be sure to keep his attention, because if you don’t, he’ll just kill you.

hisoka is the type to fuck you in someone else’s blood. like, if he finds you killing someone that looked at him for too long, he’ll just fuck you right then and there.

i think depending on if he genuinely falls in love w you, i think that even if you don’t manage to keep up killing or if you find another victim lover, he’ll drag you back by your hair. you won’t escape.

ILLUMI ZOLDYCK:

illumi would just kill you if he doesn’t feel the same way.

CHROLLO LUCILFER:

if you aren’t in the phantom troupe,i think you would pique chrollo’s interest and he’d look into you more. like, he’d track you down and stalk you for a bit and then try to make his own deductions as to why this is happening.

i don’t think that he’d be worried at all. the only worry he would have is if you managed to find his hideout or the members of his troupe. if worst comes to worst, i think he would also just kill you.

if you are part of the phantom troupe, i think he’d try to spend more time with you. he would conduct experiments and make deductions that way. if you’re the stoic type or if he isn’t able to read you, i think he would just outright ask you.

chrollo for the most part is indifferent. good luck.

SHALNARK RYUUSEI:

shalnark is kind of excited? like, someone is killing because they love him? wow! he wants to meet you in person. i think he’ll get to know you and then go from there.

shalnark is the type to fall in love because of personality, so if you’ve got the W personality vibes, you’ve hit the jackpot. just be warned, that if he does fall in love with you, it will become a mutually yandere relationship. there’s no leaving. no falling out of love. y’all are together until death, and even then he won’t be far behind you..

FEITAN PORTOR:

feitan portrays himself as indifferent, but he’s very very curious. much like chrollo, he conducts his own experiments and he stalks you. i think that feitan would be interested in a darling/yandere with a high pain tolerance or a darling that has sadistic tendencies, so if you have one or both of those, he’s in love.

feitan would love for you to kill because of him. i think he’d piss you off and flirt with other people or stare at someone for too long just so you can kill someone. truly, it’s one of his fantasies.

feitan is another mutually yandere relationship, but he would definitely carve his name into you or break some bones if you upset him. dont make him jealous. i’m begging you.

MERUEM:

meruem wouldn’t understand. like, why are you humans so fucked up? but at the same time, i think that he would want you as a mate. THE WORST MUTUAL YANDERE ONG!!!!

he will, at first, request pitou or one of the others to kidnap you so that he can observe you. he’ll question you and figure out why you’re doing this. and then he’ll see if you’re compatible with him.

if you are, he will hurt the fuck outta you. don’t make him angry. don’t make him jealous. he can and will kill everyone you make eye contact with. he can and will do things himself during the war between the chimera ants and the hunters.

if you fuck up badly enough, he will fuck you for days. especially during his mating cycle. he doesn’t mind you killing people, just don’t kill his upper three. he cannot be manipulated. he cannot be hurt. you don’t stand a chance against him. he will kill you and then himself if he deems it bad enough.

Hi hi! I'm Marvolo/Marv, I use he/they/it/xer/star pronouns! I'm 19 and I really wanted to start taking requests! Something happened recently with my dad so I thought maybe doing little drabbles and headcanons of some of my favorite characters might help get my mind off of things!! How about any soft yandere you want with darling who's not real I mean all the thing they do and the darling itself just a sweet dream when the yandere's ask other people about us they seem to have no memory of us whatsoever, it'll crush yandere's heart especially the worshiper one (kaneki, Naruto etc)

They’re not real

Obito Uchiha

🔥He could definitely go delusional and crazy enough to fantasize himself a s/o. Obito has gone through severe trauma, lost his first love and has been thoroughly manipulated by Madara. The man lives isolated and humans are known to be social creatures so the loneliness might just have been the final push he needed to make you up in his mind, the ideal lover he so desperately longs for. You're sweet, you're kind and you're incredibly affectionate so how couldn't he fall for this dream his messed up mind has created to cope with his trauma. Obito is very delusional so he ends up wholeheartedly believing that you're real and since he is a complete loner, there is no one to prove him wrong. There are sometimes things that hint to him that you're not really there yet he pushes all those thoughts away by deluding himself even further. The Uchiha doesn't want to doubt your existence since it only crazes him further. It's safer if he just stays happy and delusional like this, not even heaven knows what would happen if someone would tell him.

Naruto Uzumaki

🍜Naruto has gone through his fair share of trauma and loneliness during his childhood too, no one he could call his friend. He only had you, his imaginery friend who he created out of pure loneliness back then. Whilst he finds during the following years many friends, he witnesses just as much loses and violence and sometimes is too terrified to speak about his emotions with someone else hence why he runs back to you. Somewhere down the road he starts losing track of the fact that you're not real and just a creation out of his mind. He's fallen in love by now and in his imagination you two are a couple, have gone on multiple dates already. Naruto is social so it's fairly quick that his friends find out about his delusional state. It's a delicate topic though because whilst initially he brushes the truth off as a joke from their side, with time he finds himself slowly crumbling when more and more people insist on it. He clings onto his delusion though, at one point yells at others to stop saying such cruel things since you're right here. Sakura and Tsunade will be especially worried.

Shaiapouf

🎻His whole life and his purpose was to serve Meruem and protect him, it's literally the reason why he was born. He failed though, his king is dead and he's seemingly the only survivor from the Chimera Ants left. Shaiapouf might as well want to die though, he's basically just suicidal at this point, can't see why he should continue to exist without his king. He's a failure, better off to die anyways. His mind has a complete meltdown, he has to serve someone after all. So his mind ultimately comes up with you, perfect and graceful in any way he sees it fit. He goes down on his knees for the delusion he came up with, paranoid and incredibly broken yet serving you gives him a purpose in his life again. Shaiapouf lives far away from civilization, terrified that they might take away his new highness from him again. He has no one to tell him that his s/o is just a last way resort of his mind to cope with the immense suicidal wish inside of him. Any signs that might reveal themselves over time are instantly erased from his mind, unwilling to accept the reality.

Ken Kaneki

🔲Kaneki has been living alone ever since his mother died and only had Hide as his friend. He pretty much broke already when he was turned into a half-ghoul and didn't want to accept the truth yet his sanity shattered entirely when Jason tortured him without a single break. Whilst he embraced the fact that he is a ghoul back then, he silently longs for someone who will really accept him as a ghoul, might silently still mourn over the loss of his humanity. The result his mind comes up with is his darling, sweet and loving, who loves him for the real him. Kaneki drowns himself in this self-created dream of his, escapes all the pain he had to go through. He's in despair when the ghouls in Anteiku tell him that they've never seen you, don't have a single memory of you despite him insisting that you two have visited this coffee shop together. Touka is especially hard to tell him the truth, mainly because she is worried for him. Kaneki violently rejects the truth though, locks himself up inside his apartment to avoid anyone who can shatter his delusions and his heart.
