I have been obsessing over fall and winter myself! I’m really excited to get out of this texas heat. I have already started Pinterest boards and my fall shopping at thrift stores, TJMaxx, Ross, Burlington and, Marshall’s. Lets break some simple pieces down:

Most of these looks are about layering. So you will need to get you a nice set of cute cami tops! You may even have some from this summer, put them to good use! My personal favs are lace cami tops. They look so cute underneath oversized long sleeve tops and layered on top of cute silk dresses.

Next, thrift some really cute and feminine long sleeve tops and cut off sweaters. You will layer these over the camis underneath these cute sweater jackets or over a cute slip dress.

The key to finding a great sweater/long sleeve for this look is to make sure that neither are too tight! You want a very comfortable fit for the top layer thats over the cami.

The bottoms you choose will determine the vibe of the finished look!

Tights or Yoga pants: These will give you a casual ballerina/dancer vibe. Very cute for running errands, getting nails done, or going on simple friendship dates

Frilly~Tennis~Knits skirts: This option will give you a very girly and feminine vibe to your wardrobe. This option is ideal for brunch dates, shopping, and girly activities.

Shorts ~ bloomers: This look is very diverse. It can be dressed up or dressed down and its always comfortable.

Denim, Denim, Denim

Listen, you can not go wrong with a cute denim skirt or your fav pair of fitted jeans, with a zip hoodie or cardigan. Denim saves you a lot of time on layering if you want a cute look with the least amount of effort.

Get a over size zip hoodie to have a comfortable and casual vibe!

Get a fitted jacket or cardigan if you want a more sassy and intentional vibe!

Summary: (Y/N) had just met John after storming out of your now deceased husband's hospital room, the very room you've spent the last three weeks in to support your dying husband. After a brief introduction between the two, (Y/N) offers to get John a drink at the nearby bar. At the bar, (Y/N) would have a more wild night than you could've ever bargained for. part one, part two, part three (coming soon!) word count: 1,488

Tonight would be (Y/N)'s first evening without your husband, your soulmate. So, what better way to get through the grueling hours by drinking the pain away with the now ex of an old friend of yours, who has also passed? It sounded just like what you needed after crying your heart out for the last few weeks. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ John was walking in long yet calculated strides, his eyes carefully scanning the environment around them. Although John didn't make any mentions of Helen, (Y/N) would be able to see the grief behind his eyes. Not knowing that Helen passed yet, (Y/N) decided to express your concerns for John.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "You lost someone, too, huh?" (Y/N) broke the tense silence between them, laying down each word with care and in a gentle voice that would be meant to soothe John.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Yeah..." John answered, nodding his head slowly while staying vigilant. Although he was at first hesitant to add more, John would briefly glance over at (Y/N) as he noticed that you were taking off the black lace veil that was covering your tear-stained cheeks and red, puffy eyes. A light then went off in John's head, finally recognizing who you were: one of Helen's friends.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "—My wife." Those last two words from John made your heart shatter like glass, instantly piecing together what he had meant by his answer. The memories that you made with Helen over the years made (Y/N) begin to tear up worse than before, but you did your best to stifle them back and maintain your composure. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "I'm sorry," (Y/N) replied with sincerity.

John would pick up on the change of your voice, making him halt in his steps to turn to face towards you. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "You look like you're freezing." He pointed out, making a small gesture of his hand in your direction before he reached both of his hands around his back to take off the coat that he was wearing. "Here, take this,"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Oh..." You feel your cheeks heat up against the coldness of the rain that was falling onto your face. Although you were initially anxious to accept John's offer as the memory of your husband flashed through your mind once again, you suddenly felt the warm leather wrap around your back and arms.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Thank you."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "It's no problem," John said with a light nod of his head. He then turned back to focus on covering more of the road ahead of the two until they would be able to spend the night at the bar together; hopefully, forgetting about their pain for a at least few hours. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ The two continued their walk down the sidewalk with John ensuring that (Y/N) wasn't cold from the rain or in any danger from the risks of walking out in the New York streets late at night. Wanting to learn more about the man you were now walking with, (Y/N) took in a sharp breath and decided on a question that you felt like he would be comfortable with answering. After all, it's an average question that nearly everyone asks each other.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "So...what do you do for work?" (Y/N) asked while keeping your voice calm and gentle as to not possibly strike an unpleasant response out of John. However, John's response was quick and calculated, like he was all too familiar with what his answer would be to the mundane question; one that he always knew he'd be asked often.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "I'm an attorney." John said nonchalantly, even shrugging his shoulders up a bit while making sure each step that he took held purpose, even if that only meant walking to a nearby bar with a friend of his dead wife.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Really? My dad was an attorney." (Y/N) inquired with curiosity, your head tilting slightly to one side while following John along the stretching sidewalk.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "What about you?"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Huh?" You ask, confused.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "What do you do for work?" John repeated (Y/N)'s question, turning his head in your direction briefly before returning his attention to the sidewalk and crowds ahead.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Oh..." You nervously chuckle, feeling a bit embarrassed. "I'm a travel nurse."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Hm, so you...save people?"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "I always try my best to."

John appeared to take your words to heart, but his expression suddenly shifted into a more solemn one as a thought crossed his mind. But, as he was about to speak it, you point out to the nearby bar that was bustling with other patrons who were going through the two front doors. Subconsciously, being the kind gentleman he always was with women, John began walking towards the door to open it for (Y/N). ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Upon entering the Red Circle, you would notice how loud and bright it was inside compared to the white and blue walls of the hospital you've practically confined yourself into for the sake of staying with your husband. You get a drink for yourself, and one for John to uphold your offer from earlier.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "To the loves of our lives?" John suggested, raising up the shot glass of whiskey in his hand with a barely noticeable smile - but, it was still there.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "To the loves of our lives."

With that, the night seemingly blurred by the two as they drank the heartbreak away of losing their significant others. However, you were a bit of a lightweight; even only having two or three drinks can lead you to having a wild and unforgettable night. (Y/N) and John stayed with each other throughout the night until you became interested in another man who was attempting to work his charm on you. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ The man, who introduced himself to you as "Seth", was charismatic and described himself to be an "ambitious businessman". Using all of the right words, you would eventually snap back into reality with your arm locked into Seth's.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "My, you look lovely tonight, милый (darling)."

That one damned word was all it took for John's ears to perk up and whip his head in (Y/N)'s direction, and that was when he noticed that you were about to leave the bar with Seth. Knowing Seth's history, John jumped into action and sprinted towards the both of you with a determined and fierce glare behind his eyes. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Она со мной." ("She's with me.") John spoke up coldly to Seth as he approached (Y/N)'s side and reached one of his hands out to your shoulder from behind. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Seth didn't have to turn his head around to see who was standing behind him; he already knew just based on John's dangerously dark voice who it was.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ "Бабай." ("Boogeyman.") Seth hissed with a distinct tone of hatred laced through his voice. Although he didn't make any sudden movements against (Y/N), John would be able to notice his grip tighten around your waist as a warning.

You just stand there, drunk and now more confused than ever. One minute, you were sobbing by the bedside of your dying husband. And now? You're in the local bar with two men seemingly starting an altercation between each other over you. All that you can do then is feel your heartbeat beginning to increase at a rapid rate as your mind raced with questions with the loudest of them all being:

"What the Hell did I just get myself into?"

The last few months proved to be a challenge for (Y/N) with your husband being sick with a mysterious illness that the doctors haven't been able to find a cure to or even properly diagnose. So, on the last day of your husband's life, (Y/N) went to visit him in the hospital for one last time, just to hear his voice and hold his hand before he took that dreaded last breath.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"I love you, (Y/N)..." Your husband's breathing was incredibly shallow as it became more and more difficult for him to breathe normally as his soul steadily slipped away from (Y/N)'s reach.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"I love you, too..." (Y/N) stifled back the tears that were threatening to fall free from your eyes, not wanting to cry in front of your dying husband. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎Then, just like that, (Y/N)'s husband took his final breath. His eyes closed, and his head turned ever so slowly onto the pillow that was underneath it as his hand slipped away from your own, signaling that he was now completely gone. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎Overwhelmed by the grief of losing your husband, (Y/N) wiped your eyes and stormed out of the confined hospital room that your husband just passed away in. Now officially a widow, you could feel your heart instantly split into two; it was a pain that you couldn't describe, like your heart has been ripped out of your chest.

Now alone, without your lover, (Y/N) was blindly rushing through the hallway of the hospital with your head hanging down, allowing the long locks of your hair to fall in front of your face. However, (Y/N) would suddenly be stopped once she bumped straight into the muscular chest of a man who happened to be standing there, appearing to be lost in the trance of his own grief. Their impact would shortly be followed by a small clank that could be heard on the ground, only for (Y/N) to glance down and realize that what just fell was a necklace that the man must've been holding. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"Oh! I'm so sorry!" (Y/N) exclaimed as you promptly bent down to pick up the piece of golden jewelry that the man was previously holding onto. Then after stretching your hand out to the man to return the necklace, (Y/N) would end up shifting your gaze up until it met his own.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"It's alright," the man responded. His voice was so deep yet also slightly gravely, which was something that made (Y/N)'s heart skip a beat in a way that it hasn't ever since you first met your husband many years ago. Of course, you don't let those thoughts get to you in that very moment, knowing that you were already vulnerable to the emotions that were circulating through your mind. Then, (Y/N) would notice the faint streaks of tears that were also visible on the man's cheeks, right underneath his eyes. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎Caught off-guard by the sight, (Y/N) couldn't help but become concerned for the man whom you had just bumped into. "Are you...okay?" You ask with hesitance, but there was also a trace of concern laced through your voice.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"Eh..." The man grumbled at first before protectively curling the necklace in his fist, "I will be." He eventually added with a shrug of his shoulders - it was as if he was trying to act nonchalant. His voice even started to sound more gloomy than it did before (if that was possible).

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"I was...going to have a couple of drinks down at the bar." (Y/N) spoke up softly, swaying yourself slightly as the awkward tension increased between the two grieving souls. "If you want, I could buy you a drink."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎At first, the man appeared hesitant at the idea. His head tilted from either side while his eyes were locked down onto the necklace that he held securely in his fist. Then, after what felt like an eternity that was really only a few seconds, he made a light nod of his head in agreement to (Y/N)'s offer. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"Yeah...yeah, I'd like that." He answered, his deep voice softening only slightly as his eyes locked directly onto yours. It was only then when (Y/N) noticed the dark brown shade of the tall and fairly muscular man, and they made your heart flutter in a way that it did from your husband.

Turning to leave the hospital, (Y/N) quickens your stride to stay beside the man. For some reason, (Y/N) began to feel a subtle smile forming across your face, but decided against making any mentions of it. Instead, you speak up the very question that has been on your mind since you first laid eyes on the man. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"So...what's your name?" You ask as the man walked out of the hospital with (Y/N), the front doors opening for them as they went outside and began strolling down the sidewalk to the nearby bar.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"It's..." The man began, but then cleared his throat as the words got caught in him. After a beat, however, he took in a sharp breath while staying focused on the path that was ahead of them.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"John. John Wick."

a rather unique character, being a god from asgard. i have yet to watch "love and thunder" (and do not write down any spoilers pls!), but i really have grown to like thor's character. he's a bit arrogant, but his arrogancy is earned at times since; because, after all of the sacrifices he'd made to protect the people and asgard to the best of his ability, he's become more worthy than anyone to be not only the king, but also to hold his hammer.

3) Peter Parker/Spider-Man

let's face it, every peter parker is a goofball in some way, shape, or form if you notice. but, they're also massive sweethearts that make mine melt each time i watch a "spider-man" movie. it makes me surely wish that i had a "friendly neighborhood spider-man" over here...

2) Steve Rogers/Captain America

the man, the myth, the legend. honestly, this character is great. he has lost a lot while maintaining all of his morals and learning along with his day-to-day life. i really feel bad for not having the energy to write more about this man now, but i think that steve rogers is the perfect man to make as captain america.

1) Tony Stark/Iron Man

i really love tony as a character over all from how much he had developed over the series. he really went from being the wild playboy he started off as, to then being a loyal and loving husband and father with his family that he made with pepper. of course, he is still a little bit arrogant and narcissistic, but he changed so much over time that he is definitely not the same character that we started with; but, he is still just as if not more loveable now than he ever has been. i sincerely hope that we get to see this character & robert downey, jr. in a movie again. i miss him sm.
