I point this out every time but Jet fell so hard & fast for Zuko it’s insane & Zuko’s utter social incompetence is hilarious. I don’t think he actually doesn’t reciprocate I think he definitely had his bisexual awakening on that ferry but I just think he’s so immune to understanding his own feelings he’s more annoyed than anything by Jets persistence. like Jet is out here begging & pleading with his friends to let Zuko be part of their gang, laying on the charm thick as hell for Zuko & Zuko is just like. no thoughts only “😠😠 (why does this guy make me feel like this wtf wtf) 🤬🤬😡” which is extra funny given he JUST said he realized he’s better off not alone. he had a moment of bravery saying that to Jet on the ferry & now he has no clue what to do with it & just wants Jet to go away

Things in Stranger Things season 4 (Volume 2) which did not make sense, were forgotten or simply pissed me off.
❗️Spoilers obviously❗️
The whole town was convinced that there was a cult going on and people got up looking for Eddie and seemingly the rest of Hellfire Club because they were convinced it was a cult. Did they just give up? They never showed up again. Also the parents didn't bring this up at the end when everyone was reunited.
Why did Mike believe that the painting was for him and El when he clearly read the letter that said Will was painting it for someone he likes. Additionally, how the fuck did Mike not notice his supposed "best friend" sobbing in the car right next to him? You can clearly see him look in Will's direction but he just doesn't do anything.
Is the police just... dead? Where are they? Why are they not actively going after Jason's crew
Where is Owen? Is he alive? Why did he say that he could get El back in Hawkins in 2 hours tops if the Cali crew said it would take all night to get back, was he gonna call a private jet or something??
Where is the military? They went to that lab and then were never heard of again.
When Nancy was Vecna'd, she was in the laboratory. Why???? She had nothing to do with that place. Why wasn't she robbed from facing her own fears and traumas at the start of volume 2? Also when she got stuck in front of those doors which were blocked off by planks, they were push doors. Why did she rip off all of those planks if she could've just pushed the door and crawled in between those planks. Maybe I'm getting something wrong here but that just seems like such a hard thing to miss while writing the script...
Why did only Jason and his buddy go to Lucas and Erica when he had a whole team? Were the other guys just watching tv?
Vecna survived being transported to another reality and being hit by lightening so much that his skin peeled off, but can't handle Steve and Robin throwing a molotov at him? Or a shotgun? Really?
Did they leave Eddie's body in the upside down? Why is nobody mourning him besides his uncle and Dustin? I thought Mike, Lucas, Steve, Nancy, Robin and even Erica cared.
So El can bring people back from the dead now? That's not telekinesis, that's Mary Sue magic. What's next? She can share her powers with anyone she wants and then they can make people fly with the jerk of a wrist?
We still don't know why the upside down is stuck on the moment Will was taken. With the way this was brought up in volume 1 it really seemed like this would be answered in volume 2. But of course not, because Will Byers just kept getting sidelined in every way possible.
How come it was leaked that 5 people would die in volume 2 but the only important characters who died were Brenner (papa) and Eddie. Max died but she was brought back to life because apparently Eleven can do that now. That's not 5 is it? Or did they count the people in that helicopter who were trying to shoot Eleven?
Were we supposed to care about Brenner's death???? With how the cemra kept focusing so much on him? I was glad to watch him go!!
The timeskip of 2 full days in the middle of the climax???? Wtf was that??????
Mike being a complete asshole to Will these past 2 seasons was just for no reason then? He is JUST an asshole??
Were Robin, Nancy and Steve just choking on those vines for like 15 minutes or was the time where Eleven struck Vecna actually a lot shorter than that?
They actually forgot Will's birthday, I hoped they were just joking but they really forgot. He was the only character with a canon birthday within the series (until they talked about Dustin's) but clearly they care so little about Will that his entire existence is forgotten.
Wasn't the upside down toxic? Why is everyone just fine inhaling the shit?
The queerbait. No, gay people didn't bait themselves. Netflix, the Duffers, and the actors were actively promoting Byler and hyping up Will's sexuality when in reality Byler is just doomed, not just as a romance but as friendship as well. And Will did not explicitly come out to anyone. People are STILL in denial that he's gay and that's exactly why you make characters come out instead of keeping it "up to interpretation wink wink"
Will calling Mike the heart of their group yet Mike's the one who broke their party up the most.
Mike saying he instantly fell in love with Eleven when they met, as if he didn't tell her to shut up, go away and stop being weird back then.
Mike saying his life started on the day he met Eleven, the same day Will went missing, in his face. When Mike said before that the best thing he had ever done was befriend Will in kindergarten.
So did Vecna create the Mind Flayer or did it already exist? Cause if Vecna created it that's so goddamn lame and it adds no new mystery.
The continuous stereotypes and suffering/deaths of outcasts, poor people, queer people and people of color. One black character plays basketball and the other is a sassy one-liner. The brown guy is a funny weed man with barely to no relevancy to the plot. One lesbian gets a lazy background ship with a girl who is an exact copy of herself and the gay character is living in a painful unrequited love story and used as fuel for the main straight couple, without even being given a canon coming out scene. All this while the straight couples get together and have tons of moments together. Eddie who is poor, is seen as a cultist, dies and nobody besides 2 people mourn his death. Max, another poor character who had already lived through trauma and abuse, dies, gets brought back to life, is now comatose, probably crippled, and maybe permanently blind.
Will's endless suffering. He just can't ever be happy can he? Wtf is wrong with the writers...
Did the Russian crew just end up at Hoppers cabin like that in 2 days? No problems whatsoever? Wow that's convenient.
Hopper hugs Mike but not his new stepsons?
Not one, not two, but three jokes about Hopper once having been fat because he's lost weight in the prison.
Comments had some great additions and I came up with some more too so here's more:
Nobody showed up to Lucas' game when he had a very valid reason to want to play, and it was never brought up again. They all stood him up.
Eddie's death was so rushed and predictable. I saw it coming as soon as he said his whole "I'm a coward I run away I'm not a hero" speech. It's typical "I'm a coward so I'll die a hero" foreshadowing which is overused and just horrible. And in the end he didn't even save anyone, it was completely unnecessary. Eddie deserved to live.
Eleven not being able to win the final fight until she got validation from her boyfriend. Why was she not allowed to do this by herself?
The military watching the pizza van drive off and then do nothing about it? I thought they were experts at tracing and tracking, but nope, they just gave up after Eleven escaped the underground lab.
Just the Cali crew being sidelined so much when they once were such interesting characters (besides Argyle)
Steve saying he always loved Nancy and never moved on despite him telling Robin in season 3 that he didn't like her anymore. Let Steve move on and stop having Nancy jump from boy to boy, hurting them both in the process.
Just a nitpick but the sound design was so overly dramatic at times? Like Brenner LITERALLY snapped a pencil and the sound design was like ☄️💥🔥

jackharlow Happiest of birthdays to my little man, my twin for life. He amazes me every day with his thoughtfulness and all the love he give out at such a young age. here my thoughts can you imagine yan bruce and clark tryna convince reader to join their side. like maybe reader just,,, somehow missed an entire huge-ass conflict between them, then they come back to like the JL building only to see the world (iirc? im forgettin details) in shambles then ask wtf happened. imo i think clark would feel more anger towards bruce than betrayal towards reader should reader join bruce's side. contrarily, bein who bruce is i rlly think he would feel some ounce of betrayal to reader if they join clark's, but the betrayed feelin is overshadowed by furious anger to clark.
then again i wnna imagine the complete headassery of two grown, buff fucking men doin debates with each other everytime they coincide meeting with reader that alwys ends with a fistfight as the whole Injustice shit is goin on. the desperation (to varying degrees) of them both trying to convince reader if reader was like,,, neutral or just did not want to get involved. chaos (stupidly) everywhere.
I love the thought of the darling have gone in a vacation or something, having left everything normal and as it was, only to come back and everything’s gone to shit. I have the image of the darling walking into the airport with their bags and both Bruce and Clark are standing there waiting for them, both ready to plead their case and convince the darling to take their side. Meanwhile, the darling is completely jet lagged and confused as all hell as to what’s gone down since they’ve been away and is now being childishly bombarded by two huge and muscular men who are more than ready to kill each other.
In regards to their reactions, Clark would be absolutely furious with Bruce if the darling were to take his side. Clark wholeheartedly can’t even pretend to be mad at the darling cause obviously Bruce has been lying to them to get them to join him. He’d be delusional enough to believe that Bruce has warped the darling’s mind against him. Clark knows that he’s want the darling needs, not Bruce. Bruce doesn’t have wants best for them in mind, he won’t make them a priority. But Clark will.
Bruce would feel a little betrayed by the darling if they were to choose Clark over him, but he would excuse their choice as them having been thoroughly manipulated and lied to by Clark. He wouldn’t put it pass Clark to scare/intimidate the darling to joining him and for that, Bruce couldn’t be more furious. Whether that’s what happened or not that’s what Bruce believes. Of course he wouldn’t want to think about the darling willingly joining Clark, especially when it comes to what he’s doing. No matter what though, he can’t hold it against the darling.
Now if the darling were to not join either, instead deciding to go on the low-down and stay far away from Bruce and Clark and their entire feud, then that’s when the incessant arguing and tug of war really happens. Whether the darling wants to help or not doesn’t matter to Clark, he’ll take them kicking and screaming just so Bruce can’t get them. And as much as Bruce wants the darling on his side he doesn’t really want to force them into anything, not until push comes to shove at least. Then he’ll have to be more forceful.

You wanna write a story with a militaristic setting, like CoD or R6S? But you don't know much about military related stuff and don't know where to start?
Well, lucky for you or not I know what that feels like and I've also got the combat / real life experience to help ya out!

Disclaimer: My experiences and knowledge are mostly based on the German military, the Bundeswehr. They may differ from those of other countries.

Pt. 7 / ?: Military jargon
I thought it'd be fun to do while I brood over all my other wips and future writing advice posts. There's a lot more jargon than I list in this post, but I needed some kinda start and end to this so I just wrote down all the terms I've heard and / or used myself.
Ally: How cool someone looks in uniform / gear. Speacial forces are automatically 'ally'
Bird: Helicopters, jets, drones, basically any kind of flying military equipment
Chest candy: Medals and ribbons worn on a uniform
Civy: Civilian (who doesn't serve in the military)
Demilitarised zone: Area in which any type of military force is banned
Expectant: A casualty who's expected to die
End Ex: Training exercise / event is over (a soldiers favourite words)
FOB: Forward Operating Base
Gunner: Service member operating heavy artillery
Green time machine: Sleeping bag
Helo: Helicopter
IED: Improvised Explosive Device
Jack: Selfish person or someone who disappears any time there's work to be done
Klick: Kilometer
Lizard: Someone who routinely screws up or a civy wearing military gear / uniforms for 'fashion purposes'
(40) Mike-Mike: Grenade launcher (either 40mm or M203)
Mincing: Procrastinating or being very slow while carrying out a task
Nails: Hard as nails
NIGS: New in Greens - soldier straight out of basic training
Outstanding: Very much not outstanding
Paddy: Irish soldier
P8: Mental health issue ("Going P8 in the block")
Quebec: Letter Q of the NATO alphabet
RV: Rendevouz - meeting up at a so called rendevouz point (meeting point)
Smoke: Punishing a service member with excessive scolding / physical work
Tango: Letter T in the NATO alphabet, also stands for enemy ("Tango in sight")
Ulu: Remote / rural area
Voluntold: Assignment that is technically vountary, but actually mandatory
Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrott: NATO alphabet letters meaning WTF
X-device: Radio navigation equipment used on aircrafts
Yoyo: Young Officer in training
Zone of fire: Area designated for help from above, aka fire support

To say that you loved everything that touched aviation was an understatement, you had grown up in that environment, your mother was a nurse working at Top Gun back when it was still located in Miramar- you lived close to the base and had spent your childhood watching the aircrafts fly in the sky.
As a teenager, when it was time for you to choose a career’s path, it wasn’t a surprise that you chose to go towards something related to the aviation. It wasn’t hard for you to choose to go towards the engineering side, it was what fitted you the most and what you were the best in.
You enjoyed fixing the planes more than flying them- but that didn’t stop you from enjoying the feeling of being up in the sky, that’s actually how you met and fell in love with your now boyfriend, Pete.
You were supposed to already be back home by now but you couldn’t stop working until that jet was completely fixed, you were almost done- you just couldn’t leave it like that or you wouldn’t be able to sleep well knowing you left your work unfinished.
“ You know everyone else’s gone already?”
“ Uh? ” not expecting someone to be around at this hour, you jumped when you heard the voice, turning around, you were faced with a man you didn’t know, “ i’m a perfectionist, I couldn’t leave until this baby was fixed.”
“ I’ve never seen you work here before, are you new?”
“ I could ask you the same question, but no, I’ve been working here for over a year now.”
“ Ah, I see. I’m Pete by the way, but you can call me Maverick.”
“ Wait, the Maverick?” as he extended his hand towards you, you quickly wiped yours on your pants before shaking his hand, “ I’m y/n, it’s nice to meet you!”
“ The one and only, but the pleasure is all mine.”
“ What are you doing here at this hour?”
Letting out a scoff, you didn’t have to know him personally to understand that he wasn’t just here for a walk, he had something in mind, “ you know your reputation precedes you, if you’re here, it means you have something in mind that is not going to please the Admiral.”
“ People always exaggerate things.”
“ Oh? So, you don’t like danger and disobeying orders?”
“ Touché.”
A smile crept on your face as you closed the cockpit of the aircraft you had been working on, “ that’s what I thought.”
“ Ever went on a flight in a P-51 Mustang?”
“ No, I don’t even know anyone who owns one.”
“ Well, I can change that.”
You weren’t entirely sure you were understanding what he meant, but you were interest to say the least, “ you own one?”
“ I do. I was supposed to go on a flight at the sunset but one of the pieces gave up on me, and I know they have a couple of spare ones around here.”
“ Are you bribing me into letting you steal a piece for your plane?”
“ Is it working?”
Letting out a sigh, you knew you were going to regret this at some point in a very near future, but how could you say no to him, “ sadly it is, you might find what you need in the hangar behind.”

Instead of going to sleep that night, you left with Pete and helped him change the piece on his plane- at the end of the night, when the sun started to rise in the sky, he took you on a flight as he promised.
That’s where you started to fall for him, and the fact that he would show up often at the hangar you worked in the following days didn’t help neither. But those times weren’t because he needed something, it was only to spend time with you as he had enjoyed that flight as much as you did.
It took a couple of weeks until Pete and you started seeing each other after your work, it was never truly a date and you didn’t care in the slightest- what Pete and you had meant the world and that was more than enough.
Sometimes, you would go straight up to his hangar when you knew you’d find him there after work, and other times he would wait outside of the base to drive you back to your apartment where he would end up staying for the night.
Neither of you hid your relationship, there was no need to- you loved each other and it wasn’t a secret, but that didn’t mean you’d mention it at any given occasion. You were aware that not everyone was fond of your relationship due to the difference in ages.
You didn’t care what their opinion could be as long as they didn’t talk about it behind your back, neither did Pete even though at first, he feared that this could hurt you- after assuring many times that you didn’t care in the slightest, he stopped overthinking the situation.
It had been a couple of months since Pete and you got together, and while you didn’t officially live together yet, you were always at each other’s home, it only really depended on your schedule and the work you had to do.
But now that Pete was back at Top Gun for some kind of secret mission, it was easier to see each other- it was almost an excuse for him to show up at your hangar whenever he had two minutes of free time.
It didn’t take long until you met the group of pilots Pete was training for the mission, you met most of them back at the base and got along with them right away- it definitely helped that you would be one of the engineers that would look after the aircrafts for the mission.

It was Hangman’s idea to go at the Hard Deck for some drinks, and as everyone seemed to like the idea, you decided to tag along- it could only be fun, especially after a couple of drinks and the constant bickering between Rooster and Hangman.
You were sitting between your boyfriend and Payback, enjoying your drink while listening to the current conversation, at least that was until Hangman decided to interrupt it with one of the worse pick-up lines you’ve ever heard, “ hey y/n, i think there’s something wrong with my eyes- I can’t take them off you.”
Hangman was lucky Pete had left to get drinks and ended up chatting with Penny for a bit or your friend would have quickly felt ashamed of trying to flirt with you. Rolling your eyes, you took a sip of your drink, “ congratulations for having the worst pick-up line I’ve ever heard.”
“ Don’t pay attention to him, y/n- he’s not worth it. I can do better than shitty pick-up lines and take you out to eat and have the best date of your life.”
“ Good luck with that, Rooster. I’m not interested.”
“ Not even a little?”
“ Nope.”
As if they had all decided to shoot their shot at the same time, it was now Phoenix who chimmed in, “ give it up guys, maybe she’s not into men! Maybe a date with me would be more interesting, what do you think?”
Pete was quite literally your savior at that moment by simply coming back with the drinks in his hands and sitting back on his seat next to you, “ I don’t know, I should ask my boyfriend first- what do you think, Pete?”
You couldn’t lie, the collective reaction you got from the bomb you just dropped was quite amusing as everyone seemed to be shocked. One thing was for sure, you weren’t going to forget the faces they made anytime soon.
“ So, we had no chance from the get-go, uh?”
“ Not even one.”
You laughed at Pete’s answer, which was pretty much the same one you would have given- reaching for his hand under the table, you gave him a smile as your fingers intertwined together resting on his lap.

For Him Ep 2 Stray Thoughts
Last week, we started with a breakup. Nail learned that Jay has been cheating on him with some other woman. The woman intentionally let Nail know and we had all the drama. He and Jay were committed to the point of rings, but Jay blamed Nail for being distant with him. Nail and his squad got together, and a new guy named Him started pursuing Nail. They were very flirty and eventually started hooking up. Dew is very pretty in this show, and I’m liking the dynamic between the leads.
Hm, is Him also getting over a breakup?
I hope Him doesn’t let me down. He’s beautiful, and I like how direct he is with Nail.
I love this returning the shirt scene. This is the second returning of clothing scene I’ve had this year after La Pluie, and I love that both shows understand the importance of the rituals.

What happened to Blue? Did he just leave? I hope he didn’t die.

"Sorry I'm so loud.." you sigh heavily as you lean forward and rest your chin atop Levi's thigh, as if a dog begging for table scraps. You had the tendency to be quite obnoxious at times. Often one of the most out-spoken cadets among the Survey Corps, if Eren isn't in the same room, that is.
Levi quirks an eyebrow as he tears his eyes away from the mounds of paperwork piled on the wooden desk in front of him, looking down at you with that signature, expressionless gaze. His long fingers mindlessly feeling over the quill in hand as he stops writing.
With Levi being the captain, the two of you almost never got to spend time together during the day. On those rare occasions you did, one of you always had work to do that the other didn't. Of course, you work your way around that. Currently sitting on the floor next to Levi, in front of the heavy, wooden desk. Your chin resting on his thigh as you look up at him through bright eyes. One of your hands on the ground beneath you, to support your weight. The other hand caressing up and down Levi's shin, over top of his boots.
As much as Levi wouldn't be caught dead admitting that he enjoyed your company, he did. He liked the way the warmth from your hands blossomed across his body with each minute touch. The way your lips pursed with a pout as you figured out the two of you would be extraordinarily busy the next day; only to have it kissed away by him without a second thought.
"You are loud," he murmurs monotonously in agreement as he looks back down to his paperwork. His jet black hair falling over his face, not bothering to move it back, just thinking about how soon he should cut it. "But don't apologize."
Your eyebrows knit together in the middle out of confusion. Your eyes flick over his own closely, as if trying to read what in the world is going on in his mind-- only to fail. Even you couldn't read those micro expressions of his..not yet anyways.
"What do you mean?" You ask quietly, a drastic tone change from your usual, loud-mouthed self. "You hate noise.. tell me all the time how "unnecessarily loud" everyone always seems to be." You point out, quoting the words Levi would mutter under his breath when having to be stuck in a meeting with anyone in the entire regiment.
"That's true, I do." He muses with a hint of a laugh, only amounting to a small breath out of his nose. The familiar drone of silence ringing out throughout the room, interrupted by the scratching of Levi's quill nib scratching ink into the documents.
"But I like that about you...brat." He adds flatly, trying to seem as nonchalant as possible about what he's saying. Subtly stopping his writing again and looking down at you out of the corner of his eye. Though he'd rather get fed to a titan than admit he enjoys your reactions.
Your eyes practically light up with stars at his words, a broad grin splitting across your face, displacing the baby fat stored in your cheeks. Muttering a small "thank you" under your breath as you lay your head on the outside of his thigh appreciatively.
Levi gives a small grunt in response. Reaching his free hand down and gently stroking your hair, his other going right back to writing, as if not doing anything at all. While it wasn't a conventional way of spending time together, the two of you still enjoyed it. Who knows if there could be a tomorrow to enjoy it?

another live action ATLA rant. who’s shocked.
so im seeing a lot of ppl saying things defending the show, and whatever, fine. i agree with some. this show is NOT all bad. not even close.
the one defense i CANNOT get behind is “the people that dont like it are mad they made changes and mad its not a complete copy of the original”. do not get me wrong, i am completely aware that i (and many others) had a bias coming into this. everyone loves the original show. so many of us are very protective and dont want to see changes, bc why change something that was perfect to begin with.
however, no fucking shit they were gonna make changes. duh. wtf would be the point of this if they werent gonna change ANYTHING.
just bc i/other people don’t like some of the changes, that doesn’t mean we dont have valid critiques and were just mad at the idea of any types of changes.
i, and many other people, really enjoyed some of the changes. everyone loves the kiyoshi addition. ive seen people praising the zuko saving his crew plot line (and i completely agree). from what ive seen, most people like that azula is in the show already (ive seen people hating on her actress tho which is 1 nuts bc she did an awesome job and 2 stemming from misogyny/pedophilia but thats besides the point). everyone loves the scene w lu ten’s funeral (personally i dont care for this one bc i think the show was showing iroh’s cards way too early. they clearly know hes a fan fav and they wanted to show the best of him from the very start. which i dont think is fair to his character.)
but anyways, point is, there were a handful of things this adaptation changed that people really like!!! me included!!!!!!!!
so when i see stuff like “people are being pessimistic and miserable and hating on the fact that its not exactly the same” (paraphrasing) i get so frustrated bc that is SO not true. im not just looking to hate something.
ur telling me, if u didnt watch the show beforehand, u wouldn’t have thought that omashu episode was a fucking mess? like genuinely. try ur hardest to think about this show as a standalone piece of work, like u suggest all the haters should do, and think about that episode. u would be so confused by the whirlwind of seemingly pointless character/plot dumping. like teo and his dad, jet and the freedom fighters, bumi, and the cave of two lovers stuff? why in gods name would alllllll of that be going on at one time? like that is just one example of the changes being messy. but when u have prior knowledge of the show, ur like “oh! thats jet! yeah i know him.” but in the context of the new show he is so removed from everything other than katara and has like 6 mins of screen time, and his presence feels so forced and near pointless (ok yeah he helped katara w her bending for like a sec).
yes i am a hater, but im not gonna hate the show (which i rly dont hate the show anyways) just for the fact that there is change!
but yes i am gonna hate when they changed something and the change is worse, or illogical, or messy, or pointless. which a LOT of these changes were.

What if there was a thing called Villain Rehab where hero's take villains to rehabilitate them into heros
Heck- They even have a handbook guide on how to on how to look after their villains (Interogations, Heroic excerisies, how to handle escape attempts, make sure they don't become depressed, ect) with rules for the heros like don't kill your villain and don't fall for the villain before they become reformed
I imagine when Goldheart defeats Flug instead of leaving he picks him up and begins to fly away with flug who assumes he's taking him to jail only to notice that their heading to the hero agency and questions what's going on.
In which Goldheart mentions "Just a little thing called Villain rehab", however his tone makes Flug think some freaky brainwashing shits about to happen and tries to escape
P.E.A.C.E. having cheesy orientation videos like Black Hat Organization for their rehab centers and handbooks for heroes would be absolutely hilarious.😂

GoldHeart captures Flug and takes away all his weapons and lands outside of a hero agency. Flug asks him where on earth did he take him. GoldHeart replies in a low tone, that he is taking Flug to "rehab". Flug thought he was going to be brainwashed and started struggling against his grip, trying to escape from him.
GoldHeart, amused, went along with it to see what Flug will do and trails after him at an easygoing pace. Flug ran all the way to a building with an elevator and took it all the way to the top floor, only to see GoldHeart there when Flug came out of the elevator.
Flug shocked, asked him how did he know which floor he would go to. GoldHeart shrugs and says he looked at the floor indicator screen and flew at super speeds up the stairs.
GoldHeart then proceeds to carry Flug over his shoulder again and takes the elevator down before continuing their way outside and towards the hero agency.
Flug panickedly held onto a lamp post along the way and GoldHeart just ripped off the lamp post from the ground and carried Flug with it, much to Flug's shock. (GoldHeart could just have pulled Flug away from the lamp post but he just thought this way was funnier.)
GoldHeart, predicting the reason for Flug's behavior, finally explained that they were going to an actual rehabilitation center to reform villains into heroes. He's not going to brainwash or mind-control Flug or something like that.

Flug, finally understanding: Oh, you mean like therapy?

Even though the staff has a handbook on how to handle escape attempts, Flug does a crazy maniac escape plan a week later on Christmas Eve that no one would expect, while GoldHeart was busy at an event.
He built a rocket and attached it onto a Christmas Tree, before crashing through the roof and riding it off into the night. GoldHeart had to fly after him all around town just to get him back to the rehab.
(One exploding tree later)
GoldHeart interrogated staff and guards (Flug wasn't going to say anything) on how Flug managed to sneak and build a rocket into a Christmas tree.
Apparently, Flug found a glitch and flaw in the electronic ordering system and ordered a total of 3000 happy meals (GoldHeart: Flug! WTF!?) to be served to him for the week, but barely ate any of it, and slowly drained out all the oil from the burgers and fries to be used as jet fuel, and found a room with broken appliances and used the equipment to build a rocket and attaching the tree by hollowing out the inside of it while he was helping to decorate...
GoldHeart faced palms. He didn't know whether to be infuriated or impressed!!Probably both.
He went back to Flug's room who insisted he needs to get back home and to work at Black Hat Organization, while GoldHeart tries to convince him to try to at least take the rehab seriously for at least 2 months, if he does so, he can get him a probation.
Flug agreed, definitely because he needed to think of a new escape plan, (yup, definitely not because GoldHeart gave him a sad adorable golden retriever puppy dog look..)
But he didn't want to do any planned interrogation sessions. GoldHeart accepted the compromise.
Flug went to the activities in the rehab like the several types therapy sessions and exercise sessions while GoldHeart visits him when he can when he is not doing hero stuff to have a friendly conversation see how he's doing with the therapy and the progress, while Flug pleasantly shared with him that he’s doing well and asks him how’s he’s hero work, which GoldHeart also enthusiasticaly shares. So for 2 months, everything is going well...
Until Flug staged another escape plan while GoldHeart was busy with another mission. By the time GoldHeart was informed and reached the facility, he saw the Hat-Ship had already broken into the city and the carnage of beaten up guards left by the Villainous gang. The last thing he saw was Flug in the hat ship getting a hug from 5.0.5. and a friendly noogie from Demencia inside the Hat-Ship, before the before it flew off in high speeds. GoldHeart tried to keep but couldn’t because the hat-ship had somehow upgraded its engine while Flug is in the rehab.
GoldHeart and some P.E.A.C.E. officers tried to interrogate the guards, staff and the inmates on how did Flug manage to escape the facility, considering that he has been banned from using any technology (e.g. TVs) and was carefully monitored, after his last escape attempt. They eventually found out from some of the inmates that Flug has been doing a secret barter trade with the patients by making makeshift alcohol and drugs with only ingredients from the kitchen in exchange for multiple favors. With Flug being secretive and all patients kept giving different contradicting stories, (GoldHeart suspected might have asked also for random favors to throw them off) they had no idea how to piece the info on how Flug managed to inform his team to escape and do all this without the guards and staff knowing.
Overall GoldHeart felt frustrated that Flug was able to escape his clutches again.

A week later GoldHeart got an email. Noticing it’s from Flug’s BHO email address, he opened it up immediately. Flug wrote that the rehab did help him a little bit, so he felt he should at least give GoldHeart an explanation on how he escaped.
Flug suspected that the inmates might have told GoldHeart and P.E.A.C.E. about his barter trade but didn't know the exact details. He said that in exchange for makeshift alcohol and drugs he asked the inmates for scrap metal, in order to build the communicator to send messages to his team and explain his plan for them to charge in and break him out of the facility. He also sent a code to order and program his Hat-Bots to modify the Hat-Ship engine fast enough so that it can outfly GoldHeart.
How he was able to do all this without the guards and staff knowing was by asking some of the inmates for favors to put a paper bag over their heads and pretend to be him to distract the guards and staff while he goes to a secluded area to initiate his plan.
(GoldHeart laughed and couldn't help but be impressed by Flug's ingenuity and creativity, as he continues to read the email)
Afterwards, Flug said when he came back Black Hat was immorally pissed at him for taking an unprompted leave and had mountains and mountains of piled up work from over 2 months. But he said that he does feel a lot better after rehab and the therapy sessions help him deal and process some things about himself better. So, he thanks GoldHeart and appreciates him for bringing him there.
This put a smile on GoldHeart’s face and gave him hope that Flug could still be redeemed.

Apparently that other girl's name is Hachi? Idk, I've never seen this show before nor do I understand what the tweet is saying (I can't see the replies because I don't have Twitter, thanks a fucking ton Elon). If someone can explain in the comments please educate me.
But it's definitely true that most Katara hate comes from misogyny, internalized misogyny especially. Most women who hate on her go absolutely crazy for Sokka or Zuko or Aang while excusing their actions and making Katara out to be worst than she is. Or they "prefer" Suki's feminism over Katara's (which is especially dumb because Suki never faced the level of misogyny that Katara did, she grew up on an island that celebrates the last female Avatar and reveres its female warriors while sexism was rooted into the Water Tribes' culture).
A great instance of how the fandom treats Katara vs the male characters is TSR. Everyone will go batshit insane over Katara saying, "Then you didn't love her like I did," but not one of them will bat an eye over Aang comparing her to Jet (someone who used and manipulated her) in that very same scene. Not to mention that she's right, Sokka himself admits that he started to picture Katara when he thought of his mother. He didn't feel Kya's absence as much (whereas Katara felt Hakoda's absence as much as he did) because Katara was around to take care of him while no one was taking care of her. He isn't as full of grief as Katara is because he had her there to support him. Katara was parentified and it started with Sokka and continued through Aang and Toph. One of the failings of ATLA was that this was never addressed (and was even perpetuated by the show).
As for what you linked? I'm assuming the post is making some weird comparison? One thing I can't stand about any fandom- whether it's comic books fans, anime fans, book fans, or whoever- is the need to compare female characters from different media. Like, I can't stand people who are all, "nAmI doEsN't gEt haTe LikE saKUrA." I don't even hate Sakura, but why are you bringing in an unrelated character? Just because they both happen to be women? Because the other Strawhats (especially Zoro, Usopp, and Sanji) hit Luffy just as much, so Nami being the one brought up is misogyny in and of itself (also, as a Luffy lover, he usually gets hit when he's giving away money or putting them in unnecessary danger, so he usually deserved it). We need to stop using women to put other women down (both real and fictional).
Now, if we're saying, "Hey, this female character was handled better than that female character," that's different. But 9 times out of 10, that isn't the case

They weren’t supposed to find out as quickly as they did, but a bad timed kissed led to Penelope catching them and only a few hours later the team all knew and Aaron and Emily had a lot of awkward questions to answer.
It had been an easier transition for the team than either of them had imagined, nothing but support and mumbles of I knew it and you owe me fifty bucks being heard around the room. They clearly hadn’t been as smooth as they thought. So they stop hiding their relationship, but they never flaunt it either. It’s careful touches when they’re alone, nothing they hadn’t been doing before the team found it, but there’s a new type of comfort between them now. It’s a subtle change, something an outsider looking in would never notice. But the team notices and they’re happy for their friends.
“If I didn’t want you happy I’d be grossed out from that smile on your face.” Derek teases her as they talk on the jet back from another case.
“Shut up.” Emily tries to frown but the corners of her mouth still tug upwards as her eyes lock with Aaron’s across the plane. “Are you excited to go out tomorrow?” She decided to change the subject and ignores the eyeroll her friend sends her.
“Yes, it’ll be good to get out, we haven’t been out in a while, I need to get my groove thang on.” His eyebrows wiggle and she bursts out laughing and the ridiculous way he always describes dancing. “Besides seeing you and boss man outside of work will be fun as well, maybe we’ll get to see him without that stick up his ass.”
He should have expected the kick directed at his shin the second the words are out of his mouth.

Derek had been right though, Aaron and Emily were different outside of work, but exactly how different they were took them all by surprise. It started with Aaron kissing her cheek before going to get them drinks, in the few months they had been together the team had never seen even that simple of a gesture besides when Penelope caught them kiss. When Emily turned to look at them as he left she found Penelope and JJ grinning at her.
“What?” She asked as the two blondes looked at her with knowing grins.
“Nothing.”
“Nothing.”
They said at the same time. They didn’t want to scare Emily away from showing affection towards him and if they made a big deal out of it, chances were that they wouldn’t. They wanted their friends to be comfortable around the team when they weren’t working, even if the change was something to get used to. The brunette gives them a look of confusion but it’s gone as quick as it came as Aaron, Derek and Dave comes back with drinks.
“Martini for you, sweetheart.” Aaron smiles as he places the glass down in front of her before sitting down next to her. She leans into his side the moment he’s beside her and her hand falls to his thigh.
“Thanks honey.” She takes her drink and meets Spencer’s confused eyes. “What are you staring at Reid?”
“I was just…” The younger man starts but catches Derek violently shaking his head behind the couple and he stops speaking “Did you know that olives contain vitamin E and oleic corrosive which makes the skin tighter and people use it to keep from getting wrinkles?” He changes the subject fast, his eyes locking on the olive in her glass.
“Are you calling me old?” She deadpans and Derek shakes his head at him as Spencer visibly panics.
“No, no! I was just stating a fact…”
“Who wants to dance?” Penelope interrupts him before he can finish and Spencer breathes a sigh of relief and immediately gets up, something he never would have done in any other situation than this one.
“I do!”
“You guys go ahead.” Dave says and watches as JJ grabs Spencer and Derek and Penelope follow the pair to the dancefloor.
“You want to dance?” Aaron asks as his hand strokes the small of her back and Emily shakes her head.
“No, you’re going to need another drink in you first.” She arches her eyebrow and it makes him laugh.
Dave watches them quietly, not surprised that the couple seemed oblivious to the rest of the world the moment they were able to be Emily and Aaron. He watches the gentle smile on Aaron’s face and how Emily kept leaning into him, never moving further away from his body than she had to.
“I’m happy for you.” He tells them and clinks his glass with theirs. When Emily’s cheeks turn pink and Aaron only smiles bigger he winks at them,
An hour later Aaron finds himself holding her against him as they sway to the music. Her back is pressed against him, her ass grinding into his groin and his hands tighten around her hips. “You guys want anything? I’m going to the bar.” Emily says as Aaron sits down next to Derek at the booth.
“I’ll come with you.” Dave says and they quickly make their way through the crowd.
“So,” JJ says as Derek grins beside him. “this is you outside of work? Or are you putting on a show to mess with us?”
“Sorry, this is it.” He chuckles as he relaxes into the seat, but continuously look toward the bar, his eyes automatically finding her. “What can I say, I love her.” He shrugs and while JJ smiles Derek looks at him like he’s grown a second head. “Just you wait Morgan.”
Emily squeezes in beside him not long after that and his arm comes around her shoulders. His lips find her temple as she places the drinks on the table and she quickly turns to catch his lips in a gentle kiss. Her hand finds it’s place on his leg under the table and when she looks back at her friends she finds that they are all staring at them.
“Okay so we kiss and touch when we aren’t working? What did you expect? That we kept five feet apart at all times?”
“To be honest… I kind of thought you guys had sex with the suits still on.”
“Penelope!”

They get home that same night warm from alcohol and a good night. He unlocks the door to his apartment and easily takes her coat when she’s stepped inside.
“Tonight was fun.” She said as she makes her way to the kitchen to get them a bottle of water each.
“It was.” He agrees as he follows her and pulls her into his arms. “You did not have to give them all those details about our sex life though.” He teases as her eyebrow arches.
