anon requested: kate drinks poison to tick the crown members off but she has a high tolerance. how will they react?
"careful," victor warned kate as he held a small vial in his hands, "this is a rare poison we managed to retrieve from a gang just today. the poison can easily kill even a grown man within ten seconds-"
the queen's aide wasn't able to complete his sentence because kate took the bottle from him, and took a gulp...
william's eyebrows shoot up in surprise. he had noticed her looking at the bottle with curiousity written all over her face, but he hadn't expected his lover to do that. a big part of him is horrified and panicked. what an idiotic thing to do... his usual smile is gone from his face as he takes the vial from her hands. ten seconds pass quickly and... there's no sign of discomfort on kate's face. she gives him a big smile and william sighs quietly in relief. he has many questions to ask her, but for now...
"sweetheart, don't do that again. you gave me a fright."
jude is utterly horrified. why the fuck would she do that?! was she trying to die faster? without saying anything, jude takes the vial from her in a fast motion, all the while glaring at her. curses are on the tip of his tongue but kate starts to laugh, reassuring him that a poison like this isn't enough to kill her. of course, he's still angry though. however, a part of him is very impressed too.
"don't fuckin' do that again. it's dangerous, you idiot."
victor screams in horror and he's hurriedly trying to take the bottle from kate before she takes another sip. what a foolish thing to do, kate! when kate says that the taste is different from all the other poisons she has tried, victor is left baffled. please, the poor guy is about to start crying. he pulls her to his chest, and gives her a gentle kiss on her forehead.
"please, kate, don't give me such a scare again... i thought i was going to have a heart attack."

-> he took your number, but informed you he was getting over a bad breakup, to which you respected, giving him time to reach out to you.
laying in bed after a long work day, you’re cuddled in your favorite pjs with a cup of your favorite juice when your phone rang. you had his number saved, eternally thankful of your forgetfulness.
-> the two of you talked allll night. until 4am when you crashed first, tan not hanging up the phone, but having to when he woke up for work, barely an hour later.
-> since that night, you two talked every night, vowing to not stay up that late again.
-> he called you after his shift, and you were up, waiting for his call every night—till one night , he didn’t .

Getting to be Victor's friend could be either pretty easy or pretty difficult, he normally doesn't go out of his house and when he does is mostly with his parents, it could be that you two met because your families are friends or because you two agree somewhere
He could be pretty awkward and clumsy at first due not really knowing what to say but wanting to give a good impresion, but at the time pass he will start to feel more comfortable and will start to express more himself
He would prefer if you don't meet his parents right away (and actually prefer to avoid it as long as posible), not that he is embarrased of you but he is afraid for his mother reaction, and even if she takes it well is probably that will say something embarrassing about him and he doesn't want to scare away his probably only friend
Is more likely that Victor will accept you the way you are without much problems, not matter if you are more the shy or energetic type he just wants for you to feel free to be yourself (since you do the same for him, is only right in his mind and even if you would criticize him he prefers to just let you be). If you are more the shy or introvert type he tries to talk more and motivate you to do diferent things together as friends (even when is something new for him) but if you are more the energetic and extrovert type he tries to follow your lead and your rythm, he may complain a bit sometimes for being too much but he just get uses to it over time
It doesn't have to pass much time for Victor to fall in love but that doesn't make it less meaningful, his feeling grows faster that he can notice so it would take him a while to know what he is feeling, and when he does it will take him a little bit of time to accept it mainly because he is really nervous about the whole thing, he doesn't know if he will be enough for you or even if you will ever like him that way
Even before him realicing his feelings it start to be a little bit obvious, since, even if he had already got used to having you around he is more nervous and clumsy around you again, just like he was when you just met, but this time he tries to brush it off by laughing at it, as well he start to trip on his words and sometimes speaks before thinking (more than he used to). While having a crush Victor is stuck between being really nervous and completely comfortable around you
He isn't exactly planning to confess his feelings for you but there are moments where you two are talking in a more serious manner and he just start to talk from his heart and his true feeling slips a little (if he realice it in time he will try to apologize or cover it up). He will only confess if and when he is sure of his feelings for you and that are reciprocated because he doesn't want to risk your friendship, he wouldn't mind too much never telling you his true feelings if he knows you don't like him back
If you are the one confessing then it will take him by surprise, it actually take him a moment to fully process what you have said and is probably that he asks you if it is real, he will be all blushy and flustered, even triping on his words but at the end he manage to express his feelings for you too
It would take him a while for Victor to accept that this is for real and that he is in a relasionship with you and yet he couldn't be happier for it, he tries to be the best boyfriend, the one that you deserve, unfortunately his insecurities sometimes push him a little to much and make him think that you deserve better than him
It would take him a while to get used to being in a relasionship but once he does he will be actually pretty open with you and tries to have a lot romantic and meaningful gestures with you

Wrote this all while doing rank, congratulate me on multitasking
Paperboy x Reader
I'm an avid believer in all the skins having different personalities
So while default Victor is more reserved (NOT shy, The Prince is the shy one), I believe Paperboy is the most extroverted right behind Keyboard
He's a different kind of extroverted though
He's more focused on his blog than real life people, and so most of the conversing he does is through online forums and the like
DOES NOT mean he's afraid of in person convos!
His whole propaganda gang is trying to get people to STOP relying on tech, of course he doesn't mind talking to people irl
He's way more outwardly neurodivergent than the other variants, could probably rant FOREVER about product design, logos, hmtl and css, etc. He's really passionate about what he does
He's definitely lacking in friends though, despite all that
Other than his Call of the Abyss gang, he really doesn't get to talk to many people
It's pretty saddening, because after the fourth (read: ten-thousandth) rant about Have Fun, the only one who will listen is Luca, maybe sometimes Will
He really doesn't mind, but he does wish he could tell more people about it, people he liked
This is where YOU come in!!!
Someone new to the squad, someone who's interested in what he has to say!
Plus, even if you don't understand any of it, he has a cute puppy, isn't that enough to lure you in?
Speaking of Wick (whomst I will be referring to with all pronouns because I've been told that dog is every gender and I don't know what to believe anymore), he's the sweetest puppy ever!
When she's not ruining Jose's little dj gigs and radioshows, they're the most well behaved dog you will ever meet!
Play fetch with it, he will bring the ball back and give you puppy kisses while she's at it!
Victor LOVES seeing the two of you interact, it makes his heart explode with joy
Yes, he does talk to Wick like they're a real person. No, you cannot stop him. No, he does not use a baby voice, he is entirely serious about it.
Write him letters, he's never gotten one, none of his variants have except for maybe Prince.
He'll be SO SO SO HAPPY he'll love you forever
That's probably what kickstarted his little crush, actually, because he definitely fell first AND harder
You probably sent him an anonymous fan letter, just trying to make sure he knew people liked his blogs
He nearly CRIED running around showing everybody else, and you just laughed all joyfully at his excitement
He vowed he would find out who wrote it and write them back a thousand more word of appreciation
Imagine his joy when he found out (read: doxxed the letter for info) it was you!!
Yeah, he actually cried this time
Happy tears, I swear!
He promised you he would never ever forget it, and you KNOW he didn't, because he still brings it up years later as the happiest day of his life
Since the Call of the Abyss movement advanced and began making a motion, he'd received so many more fan letters, messages on his blog, and other things of that nature
But yours? Pinned up on his wall, FRAMED in gold
Takes every chance he gets to show it off, even if everybodys seen it before
Back to more general headcanons, Victor is completely nonverbal
He communicates through his lil mask thing, projecting words on it
He also uses it for more practical things
Like spreading more anti-Metropolis propaganda!
When he wants you to understand some niche thing he's into, he projects a video essay on to the screen, makes you watch it like a movie
Even with his eyes obscured and his words filtered, he's still extremely expressive, and its easy to tell what he's feeling
His face goes REEEEED when he's flustered or embarassed
And his lips are so so cute when he pouts
The only person he actually talks to is Wick, he does it in private, very few people get to see it
Even with you and the others, he's never spoken, only grunted or giggled or something small to acknowledge what you've said
When the plan to expose the Aurora finally closed in, and the final day was approaching, he excitedly ran around showing off his latest design
The first real print he'd made, he'd been banned from most shops and had to be careful entering them because of the guards, so he hadn't gotten the chance to bring them into reality
But finally, after Luca managed to get him a nice printer and a lifetime supply of ink, he did it
They were gorgeous- or- not the right word
They were effective.
He's really a genius in the graphic design department, slaving away hours over his laptop creating the perfect logos to draw in attention
He was incredibly excited that he finally got to spread it the way he's always wanted to
And he really hopes its as effective as he's been told
Hopes that it will encourage people to go find the sun once more
Back to the cute fuzzy romance!
It's a little awkward to kiss him, considering he almost NEVER takes off his little mask
Sometimes he does, but he really wants to save it for when the sun rises on Metropolis, it's a big dream he has
You really have to tilt your head, but its very worth it
He's soft all around, hands, arms, lips
And also, he smells like lavender
Dont ask me how I know, but its canon, I was his perfume
He really likes flowers, even though he's only seen pictures
He thinks they're gorgeous, and he believes they'll smell even better in person, better than any scent a cheap perfume shop could provide (sorry Vera!)
While he may be hard to kiss, he loves hugs, the tighter the better
Even if he feels like he's being squeezed apart, the closeness makes him feel safe
He hopes sunlight feels that warm
Sometimes, he takes you out to the theatre to watch the Aurora
"To research," he'll tell you
But really, he's just a hypocrite
Even if she's false, she does have a beautiful voice
He would never deprive you of beautiful things
He figures two extra tickets can't do too much harm, right?

1. Yes Man wouldn't ever dream of doing anything that you'd dislike. He's always at your beck and call, waiting for any orders he can carry out for you. He's complacent, understanding, and very loyal to you and whatever cause you're aiming for. That alone makes him the best on this list, only downside is that he’s wayyy too obsessive and worship-y.
2. Veronica is so head over heels in love with you that it's almost wholesome? You won't even be able to tell that anything wrong due to how gentle she is with you. She's always getting you gifts, taking you out on dates, and if you ever talked to any of the other Brotherhood members, they'd roll their eyes and say that 'of course they know you, Veronica never stops gushing!'. The only yandere aspect about her is the slight stalking she does whenever you do anything without her.
3. Cass might have a bit of a jealous streak, but she means well. She'd never dream of harming you or anyone you're considerably close to, she'd hate if you had to lose someone you cared for. Instead, she normally relies on her louder personality to scare off any 'competition' she might have. She's more of a bodyguard than a threat, only wanting your safety in the Mojave and you'll sure be getting that when you travel with her.
4. Victor’s honestly pretty chill. The only reason he’s below Cass is that he’s way more likely to ‘get rid’ of someone for your sake. He also, by default, has to be a lot more obsessed with you as he needs that extra motivation to override parts of House’s programming to be able to act in the ways he deems necessary. Such as wandering the Mojave with you instead of staying at his post, and shooting his rockets on his own accord.
5. Arcade isn’t violent, but he is manipulative. The others above him are way more relaxed than he’d ever be, which is why he’s been placed 5th. He’ll always make remarks about how you’re ‘friends’ are all fake, and that he’s the only one you could — the only one you should ever trust and confide in.
6. Raul manages to convince himself that what he's doing is in your best interest, and that's what makes him so dangerous to be around. Everything he does is justified in his mind and he won't be willing to compromise. Everything is on the table with him, whether that be making threats or full-on murder. He's done this all before and he refuses to lose you like he has everyone else, even at the cost of his own life.
7. Lily’s schizophrenia mixed with her fear of losing another one of her grandkids causes her to become incredibly controlling and overprotective over you. She’ll constantly be asking where you’re headed or who you’ve been talking to, worried that you’ll somehow be harmed or corrupted in some way or another. Leo doesn’t help either, in fact, he encourages her behavior because a part of it makes him stronger.
8. Boone doesn’t care how you feel about what he’s doing, he’s still gonna do it. He’s the lowest on this list for a reason, and that reason is he’s the quickest to act with violence. There’s nothing that could ever stop him from pulling out his rifle and taking out whoever it is he wants. He’ll isolate you, injure you, try and keep you complacent with horrific stories. As long as you’re alive, Boone is happy, but that state you’re in doesn’t matter.

(I saw the interaction event and IDV on your list of fandoms. hehehe >:D) "Hey! Victor, I got a letter for you, I hope you like!" I say as I hand him a love letter and a flower.
The postman looks a little hesitant before hearing about a letter. The stitches tug against his lips as he gently smiles with a nod. Holding his hands out, he accepts the letter, letting out a small hum. Victor was a bit surprised to see a flower along with the note. Usually, those were reserved for familial or romantic letters.
Resting his dominant hand near his lips, he pulls his hand down in thanks. He bows his head before walking away with Wick in tow. Once in his room, he takes the time to look over your letter. He was looking over the penmanship and seal with such care.
Victor reads over the words carefully. The more he read the more confused he felt. It was a love letter. It was rare that anyone spoke to him, much less wrote to him. So, for him to receive a love letter felt completely foreign.
He reread the letter over and over again. It didn’t feel real to him.
There was another thing he felt. Excitement.
Victor was excited to write back, wasting no time pulling out paper and pen.

Victor is someone who understands quite well why you keep to yourself, yet he is also a tad saddened when he begins to get to know you. It's as though you're starting a timer, giving him only a few minutes before excusing yourself...but he never pushes you. Victor is more than aware of how important alone time and privacy are
He feels quite comforted by the fact that you are rich as well. It can be a little isolating when no one gets your experiences. And, unlike many of the rich folk, he does care about what people think - no matter their status.
When he finally gets you talking about a hobby after vaguely mentioning it, he's so over the moon. He doesn't dare cut you off or add too much, he's fully intent on listening and watching the way your eyes light up. Even though the conversation ends just as fast as the others, Victor finds himself much happier...you spoke instead of him. That has to count for something!
These passing hellos and checkups slowly morph into a more prolonged conversation before parting. From books to video games...to anything, really. The art of getting to know one another was lovely to Victor, and despite the slow burn, he grew far more giddy each time you didn't retreat from him.

Dating is Hard (When a Hitman Loves You)
Here’s the first Gotham fic!!
Summary: Your dating life isn’t going well. At all. Victor decides he’s going to help. But things aren’t always as they seem.
Warnings: Dark-ish, mentions of violence, blood, and death (It’s Zsasz), slight Yandere. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN MEDIA CONSUMPTION! Do not ignore the warnings if something could potentially trigger you.

What was wrong with you? Were you cursed? Those were the questions that plagued your mind with every date that ended poorly. With every guy that stood you up(and there were plenty). With every news story that told you the guy you'd gone out with a few evening prior had been found dead. It really was getting ridiculous and you had no idea what was happening or why.
"Hey, Sweetness." You would have jumped at the sound of Victor's voice if you weren't used to him sneaking up on you by now. The man was light on his feet and deadly. He proved that the very first time you'd met when he saved your life. You'd been taking a short cut home when you felt someone following you. When you tried to lose him, you ended up trapped. You thought you were done for when who should appear but Victor Zsasz.
You weren't sure how you'd ended up in your odd friendship (if that's what it was) with Victor after that, but it did make you feel somewhat safer living in Gotham. "Not now, Victor. Please," you requested, your voice cracking a bit. You didn't want to cry in front of him. He was a man of many talents, but handling a crying woman was NOT one of them. If you started crying, Victor would up and disappear as quickly as he appeared. Or he would offer to use his professional skills on whoever made you cry.
"What's wrong?" You looked at him and gestured to yourself. "You tell me. Tell me why I can't get more than one date from anyone I go out with. Tell me why the ones I manage to get a date with either stand me up or never call again. Is there something wrong with me? Am I that undesirable?" Victor simple stared at you with his typical stoic expression and after a moment of silence, you scoffed and turned to head home.
*time skip*
A few days later, you arrived home from work and nearly screamed. There were dozens of bouquets around your living room and kitchen that had not been there before you left for work that morning. On the kitchen counter sat takeout containers from your favorite place. You were terrified to say the least. This was not normal.
Now you weren't stupid. You knew you lived in a dangerous city and had taken precautions because of that. You reached into your purse and grabbed the pepper spray you kept. Obviously there was no one in your living and kitchen areas so that left your bathroom and bedroom. Pepper spray in hand, you slowly tip-toed toward your bedroom. The door was partially opened, allowing you to slip in. This time, you did scream when you saw the shadow of someone sitting on your bed.
"Nice set of lungs there, Sweetness." You instantly flipped on the light and huffed as you tried to catch your breath. "Victor, you ass! How did you even get in here?! You know what, don't answer that. I don't want to know. What is all this?" Victor simply shrugged a bit. "I was in the neighborhood and got hungry." You arched a brow at him and his expression didn't change. You knew he was lying, but chose not to question it. With Victor it was better to let sleeping dogs lie in order to stay alive.
With a sigh, you lowered your pepper spray and nodded. "Fine. Come on then. I've had a long day and would really like to drown my sorrows in food and some cheesy comedy." Victor chuckled lowly as he rose gracefully from your bed. He took a step toward you and if you didn't know him the way you did, you probably would have been afraid.
"Lead the way." You rolled your eyes and muttered under your breath, "You seem to know your way around pretty well already." He obviously heard you as he let out another chuckle. "I've only been here a few times." You stopped in your tracks. "A few-A few times?! Dammit, Victor!" you grumbled as you turned on your heel to head to where the food was calling to you.
"Seriously though, what is all this? You don't exactly strike me as the romantic type." Victor scoffed. "I will have you know that I am very romantic. I was romantic the first time we met." You arched a brow. "I'm not sure I would describe sharing a milkshake while you were covered in the blood of your mark 'romantic', Victor." Victor merely shrugged again as you readied the food.
"Just thought you could use some cheering up. I really didn't want you to start crying every time you see me. Really does a number on a man's ego," he finally admitted after a few minutes. You smiled a little. He was right. You had been tearing up every time you'd seen him. Funny how you hadn't noticed that he was around every time a date had gone sour. Every. Single. Time.
Your eyes widened, Surely it was a coincidence. It had to be. There was no way Victor was responsible. Was there? Victor was no longer looking at you. Instead, he had turned on the TV where the news was playing. You weren't ever surprised to hear the name of the guy your last date had been with coming from the reporters mouth. Dead. Just like so many before him. But your attention wasn't on the screen. It was on Victor.
He expression didn't change as he watched so you had no idea what he was thinking. However, you did notice him subtly reaching to scratch at the skin under his sleeve where there was, no doubt, a new scar beginning to heal. One body, one mark. You moved away from the counter and over to Victor.
He didn't stop you from carefully rolling up the sleeve. Sure enough, there was a semi-fresh cut on his arm. You looked at his face, his eyes already on you as he waited for you to piece together what you already knew. You cast your gaze back to the TV and then to Victor's dark eyes again. "You were there," you whispered, "Every time. You were there waiting." Victor nodded once. "Victor…what have you done?!" You never heard the reply before you felt something pricking your neck and the world went black.

jealous, jealous, jealous!
— "are you two dating?" ft. victor, emilio, merryrose
— VICTOR!
It took Victor a moment to process that question before quickly regaining his cool. He shot his co-worker a smile but in his mind he was panicking, thinking that he was being a little bit too obvious with his feelings. After all, he already said to himself that he'd push aside his feelings and let you meet other people. It made him feel a little giddy though, the thought of being mistaken as your lover gave him butterflies.
"Oh my, do we really seem that close?" He let out a small laugh, "we're really not dating."
"Then you wouldn't mind if I tried to confess to them, right?"
Crash!
"Huh?" It took Victor a moment to realize what was happening. As if ignoring what they just asked him, he chuckled. "Oh dear, I must've been distracted. Seems like I've broken a glass."
"A-Are you alright!?"
"Yes, I'm fine." His mask was slowly crumbling away and his voice suddenly turned deeper. A little bit rougher. He furrowed his brows and looked at his co-worker right in the eyes. "I can take care of this. Just scram already."
They gulped. Slowly backing away before sprinting out. Victor could only stare at their back getting smaller and smaller before letting out a deep sigh and ruffling his hair. "Ugh… I screwed up."
— EMILIO!
"Dating?" Emilio pondered for a second. He was debating between telling his fellow knight the truth or twisting it a little to match the image inside his head but he knew you wouldn't like it if rumors about you and him spread – and you were his priority. So he chose to tell him the truth… with a little bit of something sprinkled on top. "Well, no… but we're very close."
Maybe he did that to show off. Maybe he did that to ward him off because clearly, he was interested in you. He was fidgeting, sweating, and stuttering. If he was asking just for the sake of knowing, he wouldn't be as bothered as he is. However, this kind of situation calls for a different response.
"T-Then…! Could you put in a good word for me? I'm really interested in them so I've been wondering if you could help."
He didn't take the hint, he thought. A straightforward answer should do the trick.
"They're not looking for a relationship right now." Not a trace of guilt can be found on his face after spitting out a blatant lie. It was scary how his voice had gone cold yet his smile never wavered. "You should give up."
"Please? Just a little push is all I need so I can confess…"
Confess? Emilio tilted his head curiously. "You just don't give up, do you? It's an admirable trait for a knight… however," he grabbed his collar and pulled him closer – sending chills down his spine. "Do try to pick opponents your size."
He backed away, acting as if nothing happened. "Unless you want to be gobbled up, of course."
No one believed the knight when he said that Emilio threatened him.
— MERRYROSE!
"No, why?" Merryrose's reply was quick and simple. It was straightforward enough — No, they were not dating. He conveniently left out the 'yet' part and 'I wish we were' part. He thought it would be super embarrassing if anyone found out his big crush on you and right now he's doing his best to keep a straight face when he got asked this question.
"That's great to hear!" His eye twitched. "I was planning on asking them out soon so I had to make sure there really isn't anything going on between you two."
"Oh, really?" It was childish to get jealous, yes. But what's even more childish is the fact that he removed his glove and put his hand on their arm. He never thought he would intentionally charm someone with his ability but he thought it suddenly became useful for once. His pettiness knew no bounds. Sweetly, he asked: "Could you repeat that for me?"
"O-Oh..! I was wondering if you were interested in going on a date with me, Merryrose." It worked, perfect.
He put his glove back on and replied, "I've got plans. Don't go asking anyone else, though."
It was strange. He hated being treated like this but the moment they showed interest in you, all common sense got thrown out the window. It's fine, he thought. It would be bearable if they fawned over him instead of you. If it was you… He might just burst with jealousy.

I was watching the movie when I realice that most stories doesn't show the troubles of having to adapt your life to someone else because now they are together
Is kinda like when you moved somewhere else, it even works with family, I mean I did it like 5 times in my life (it was tortuous but I couldn't do anything)
Victor Van Dort
For Victor getting use to the marriage life isn't going to be easy, if you two knew each other for a while now or even was in a relationship before it would be a little easier but still not completely, and if the case is that it was a arranged marriage then he will be way too anxious while trying to adjust to everything
First of all, marriage is a really important thing in the time he lives and is something expected so that alone already puts a lot of pressure on him, adding that he has a really bad self-esteem due how his mother not only treat him but how she talks about him, and since his family have money (and that could be the main reason of a arranged marriage) he kinda doubts if he could be a good husband and maybe even thinks that this marriage is just for the benefits (if you two already know each other from more time it would be more like a fear rather than a doubt)
Honestly, Víctor is just too scare to mess things up or even make it uncomfortable for you two, he will extra anxious if he does love you or if you two have just met, but in both cases are a diferent kind of anxiety, in the first is because of that love that he is scare of messing things up, and in the second is because the situation is already awkward enough for him to be clumsy and messy
Once you two start to live together he will spend quite a while feeling anxious and tense, not fully knowing how is he suppoused to act, stuck between wanting to give you space and trying to make sure you feel comfortable. It is too much for him and soon, if you aren't the one breaking the awkwardness he will be the one to speak up, admiting that he doesn't really know what he is doing but he wants to try his best, and actually after that he start to grow more comfortable and let him to slowly start to get used to the marriage life without feeling like everything he does will mess up things (and if you feel as awkward as him will help him to feel not so alone in this, in the other hand if you are comprehensive and even comforting he will feel a little flustered but also embarrassed, but it isn't something too bad, it helps at the end)
Victor is the type to be willing to adapt himself to you and that is why communication is the key with him, even without much words as long as you are willing to be sincere and don't be too demanding and critical of him then things will go slow and smooth, the love and care grows slowly but it is obvious (and if you two were already together then that will slowly get you two closer). Although, he need some reasurance that is fine for him to don't give in on everything
Is more likely that you two end up being a kind of marriage that grows to have a complete rutine without even planning it, but is something rather comforting where you two grow comfortable and even end up coordinated with each other, still that doesn't mean that he won't be willing to do things that get outside of the usual rutine with you (he has the money to afford it anyways, as long it isn't something that make him uncomfortable or let him without personal space and time, he is patient and willing but will get mad if he runs out of patient or if is forced into something)
Emily
Emily is completely in love with the idea of getting married, still she is expecting to marry the love of her life, her soulmate! so, somehow, when you two get together she knows you are her soulmate (still there is not pressure or expectations to be met, she does love you for how you are)
Due Emily's entusiasm it won't take long for you two to get married, when she knows she is in love she doesn't see reason to wait, still she is willing to take it slowly if you prefer it that way (but will never stop saying how much she want to spend the rest of her afterlife with you)
Emily is a totally entusiast for the newlywed life that is a waiting for you two, however, her own entusiasm is what lead her to don't leave the honey moon phase for a while, she just can't help but feel like in heaven after you two get together (specially if you agree or let her be all the entusiastic she wants because she won't see anything wrong then)
Still, despite what it may seem, Emily truly love you and make efforts to know more about you, she isn't only interested on getting married but also in getting to know you and in sharing her life with you, that is why she is more than willing to learn about your normal life and rutine and making effords to make it agree with her own rutine. As well, she does expect that you do your efforts for the relasionship, she is patient and understanding and will love to get to know you and your own way to do things but she needs your confirmation and reasurance about the relasionship, as well the demonstration that you are willing to do some things in her way, even reasurance without words and just by actions will work, at the end she just want to share her life with you and be together but in a relationship one can't do all the work
Emily may be the type to believe blinfuly in her partner but she isn't stupid in the slighest, it would take her a while but at the end she will learn to respect your own space and time, just as she takes time to herself to be with her friends (although, she will be more than willing to just bring you with her wherever she goes)
Even so, it would take her a while to get used to don't be so clingy or even needy because of how much she loves being with you; and just like that it will take her a while to grow fully comfortable around you too, not that she doesn't feel comfortable with you is just that she want you to see her as someone pretty and she tent to get nervous or even embarrassed when she loses her eye or get clumsy, so she needs some time to reach the comfort where she doesn't feel like needing to act perfect all the time (your reasurance can help, reminding her that you love her just as she is brings her a lot of joy and comfort)
In the afterlife you won't really have much problems for what you could be worried about so is more likely that if you two grows to have a rutine is after a long time of being together, because before that Emili wants to have all kind of little adventures with you
