Miyoko’s Organic Cashew Milk Mozzarella

Um... excuse me.  Have you all tried this?  Because it’s amazing.  This vegan cheese has no weird after taste, is smooth and creamy, and goes great on salads and sandwiches.  AND it’s gluten, soy, and palm oil free!  How insane is that?!

For taste and texture I would give this a 10/10.  It’s the best and I always keep this on hand to make a nice vegan tomato mozzarella pesto sandwich.  This has been my go to sandwich for over two months now so I’ve gone through a lot of this cashew mozzarella, let me tell you.  Though it is a bit (very) pricy, I do feel like we get quite a good amount of it.  Each pack lasts about 2 weeks for me and if you saw how many of these sandwiches I'm making and how many different ways I use this you’d be shocked.  Another thing to consider is the actual ingredients.  This product has pretty neutral ingredients that aren’t really unhealthy so that’s another plus compared to some of the cheaper alternatives.

I know the package says it’s meltable and it very well may be, but I just haven’t used it on pizza or anything so I can’t comment on that.  I did, however, put it on the stove on top of a slice of bread but didn’t see much melting.  It tasted great and was creamy, though!  Maybe I could have left it on the stove for longer.  Who knows.  I’m not patient enough to wait especially when it tastes this good.

All in all, I think this is a product that is worth it even at a steeper price because it is good.  If not a regular purchase I still think it’s worth it to get it for a vegan cheese/cracker/fruit board or other special occasions!

Vegan skincare review

I was bought these beauties as part of a hamper, they’re from the vegan range called Body Collection at Wilkos.

The face wash smells amazing and a small amount goes a long way! The night cream is lovely although a little too perfumed for me, however I do like the fact that you only need a small amount and it soaks straight into your skin!

I should also point out that at 40 I still have breakouts 🙄 neither have caused me too though, my skin is lovely and clear!

I will definitely be purchasing from this range in the future!

Yall know the @vtrapkitchen is open right? We worked a split shift just so we could go some place, sit down, and relax and eat #unapologeticallyvegan food. We were not disappointed. The food was great. The service , atmosphere, service was on point. We ordered the tacos, walnut meat was super beefy like, the pico took it to the next level. They were clean, we liked them. They were so filling I was able to make it into a taco salad at the end. Nana got the burger. That thing was like a real burger. Impossible no doubt but the red cabbage really was a pleasant surprise. Meme got the quesadillas, and the mac. No complaints. While waiting for the food we had the green tea, a pomegranate juice and a just water. We really liked the juice and were able to take home what we could not finish. The ladies also got a yogurt and some vegan cheddar puffs to hold them over until the food was served. I loved how the waitress was like , you are going to totally love these tacos!” We loved her positive energy. At the end I was sitting there waiting for my check and then remembered... oh, did a self serve square checkout, thats was too cool. Anyway, y’all should definitely support. We need more truly vegan, and clean food options. We appreciate that VTrap is a working family business. Like my mother, the owner still works a full time job. Blood, sweat and tears are going into their businesses. The owners have 4 beautiful children to raise and like the owner shared, “I want to see my children sometime”, I totally relate. We know that type of love translates into the food and that we have nothing but respect for. LightLife Veggie Meatballs These were okay. Just okay. I thought that the texture was better than most veggie meatballs I’ve had, but the flavor wasn’t really there even after simmering them in spaghetti sauce (which it’s recommended to simmer in whatever sauce you’re putting them into). Every week my wife and I drop off our children with their grandparents. After our responsibilities, We dedicate the day & night to us. We paint Arizona Red like #RedForEd... Last night we ate at the new Central Phoenix @pomegranatecafephx and it was Sofaking Amazing!!! This is by far the Best Vegan Restaurant in Phoenix. Why? Great Food, Raw Food & Options. Most Vegan restaurants are really just fast food serving a lot processed fried soy. As if soy is are only hope for converted vegans. I doubt restaurants are using organic fermented soy that is aluminum free & free from any other contamination. Pomegranate Cafe menu has Raw Vegan Food, Cooked & Vegetarian Food. They have meat & diary substitutes like vegan nut (almond & cashew) cheeses, soy, tempeh, tofu, & my favorite choice “walnut taco meat”. Do not fear if you have nut allergies, they have other options too. Make sure you tell the waiter specifically what you need and they will accommodate you. Their Raw Food menu is excellent. This part of the menu is not cooked or it’s cooked no higher than 118 degrees. Again its your choice. Some of their choices: Raw Lasagna, Tacos, Wraps, Bagels, Rolls, etc Other Menu items include Salads, Wraps, Burritos, Nachos, Burgers, Breakfast, Sweets, Bakery, Shakes, Smoothies, Coffee, Coco, All Vegan everything. This place is fantastic! At first it may seem expensive but then you receive your plate... Wowsers! Look at this mountain of food! Gila Monster Nachos: Corn Chips, Black Beans, Walnut Taco Meat, Cashew Nacho Cheese, Salsa Roja, Pico, Guacamole, Chimichurri, Baja Sauce, & Jalapeño. DROP SQUAD EXPERIENCE @artichokeandvine OMG we found a place harder to find than ours😂. We literally had to park in a parking lot, take an elevator and go outside to go inside. Straight up cool vibes from the jump though. Marissa the cashier was so THOROUGH even though she was claiming to have a bad day. Her script reminded me of @mearabey our chief food server/ libationist, “Is this your first time ...” Honestly they have our dream DSK menu with burgers/ hand cut fries/ wings. Minus the Beyond Meat and Impossible Burger they make their own meats, sauces etc., that was a plus for us. “We feel like you have to care enough about Humans to do that.” - @ananatawa The aesthetics were popping.
