Who even invented Vegans?
They took their inspiration from the ethical parable "The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelettes" by Ursula K. Egguin.

I don’t think that people grasp what it is that they’re actually asking when they tell vegans not to ‘push their beliefs on others.’ This can only be understood as asking us to stop advocating for animal rights and stop speaking up for the victims of animal agriculture.
You can dislike pushy vegans or want to be one of the ‘chill ones’ if you like. But the fact of the matter there is no way for us to just stop talking about animal agriculture or promoting veganism while simultaneously defending animals. What they’re actually asking us to do is to be silent so that they don’t have to feel bad.

I feel like a very important part of one's journey to veganism is realising that it is not really about you. All the animals you've never seen deserve to live. The lives of all the ones that have inconvenienced you are important just like ours. The animals you're afraid of or disgusted by don't deserve to die.
We are not the ones who decide whose life is worth living, non-human or human. We aren't here to decide others' purposes or meanings.
We should all realise, know and remember that.

I am very sure that bats in Mexico consume nectar from other types of plants besides agave, so stop dunking on vegans because you see us as elitist because of your stereotypes about vegans.
Also, extinction and habitat loss is often caused by animal agriculture and car-dependant infrastructure. Don't forget about global warming.
Also vegans are not the biggest consumers of agave nectar, we don't have the numbers for that, and we don't all consume it everyday.

Sign the petition to stop octopus farming
A huge octopus farm is unfortunately set to open in the Canary Islands, murdering a million innocent kind smart creatures each year. There’s more info about the farm in the link above, but please take a minute to sign and share the petition! Demonstrations are also being organized for world octopus day (October 8th) all over, so reach out to contacts in the link to get involved!!

Let's Matcha 🍵
1. What is required:
matcha
soy milk or any other plant-based milk
35-40 ml hot (not boiled!) water
10-15 ml maple syrup (optional)
a chasen, a wooden whisk, or a hand mixer (a must)
a small sifter (almost a must)
a matcha bowl and a chashaku, a tea scoop (not a must at all 😉)
2. Scoop 2-3 g. of matcha and sift through. It's required to avoid bigger clumps in a drink.
3. Pour hot water and whisk vigorously. You should get a very nice smooth frothy matcha. If you don't have a sifter, whisk even more vigorously 😅 If you want, you can add a maple syrup and whisk it all together. I prefer plain matcha, but if it's your first try, drink with and without a sweetener to see what your preference is.
Look at the colour! No filter.
4. Pour matcha to a glass or a cup, add the mix of water and soy milk to your taste. It's very subjective and depends on your taste. Soy or oat milk makes it rich and creamy and water makes it less bold and intense as matcha does have a very strong taste. If it's too hot, add ice cubes.
I am ready to enjoy my matcha, carrot cake, and the book on the balcony ☀️
My goal is to make as many various matcha drinks as I saw in one Matcha House in Warsaw

Lol saw this brainrot blog where every single post is pushing people to go vegan
Like ok u do what u want you've clearly never been to an actual farm
They're delusional if they think more lives are harmed in like milk than in quinoa or something like that
Calves are allowed to feed on their mother's milk when they're young (cuz trust me if you wanna get milk out of them, you do not want an unhappy cow) and only then they are milked
Now if you think it's the birthright of the calf to feed on its mother's milk for any longer, you're welcome to try (spoiler alert: the calf will chew on its mother till the mother bleeds)
Farmers know what they're doing, don't make yourself look dumb
