A perfect match?
Everything was different when you opened your eyes. Everything was different once again. Without knowing where you were, you sat up, rubbed your tired eyes and took a look around you. A pair of bright green eyes starred back at you through the dark. Hearing a deep rumbling voice saying that everything is fine now , you felt a shiver run down your spine and everything turned. The darkness welcomed you back once again…

Please correct me if I am wrong but I heard two soldiers were persecuted last year or a year before on the ground of sodomy/sex outside military premise even though it was a consenting act.
Hi @purplemoonlibra !
I think you are right. I found this:
This law is no joke. But I do feel safe in thinking Tae and Jk will know the risks and know when something is safe and when it is not.

You know...
If Garou finds out that he was made to jump rank past all these A-rank heroes, a-rank heroes that he had to defeat too mind you and A-rank heros he had personally wronged and grudgingly apologized to and just take Bang's place at the top for free without questioning his abilities or evaluating him or asking him whether he even wants to...
That's going to feel like he's unfairly being elevated to the top position that he didn't work for.
Garou is not going to take handouts. Garou is not willing to take the blame for HA's shitty management.
Tumblr media
Garou can smell injustice and unfairness from a mile away and he's a smart cookie.
He's gonna have some words to say about that kind of bullshit system.
"What kind of backwards system is that!?"
He'll be so sickened by the HA's idea of heroism and bureaucracy that there is no way he'll join that organization that tramples on people's sense of pride and demeans them. They'd just do the same to him wouldn't they? The stench of hypocricy from the organization who calls itself Hero association makes him sick.
He's probably going to just run for it and become a rogue element again, because Bang broke his trust as well by doing this to him. Not as a hero hunter though, but someone who wants to right the misdeeds wrought by humans in general. This is just burning gasoline on the fire that still motivates Garou.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There goes any chance for any kind of rehabilitation process. We'll see what the HA attempts to do for rogue elements.
Tumblr media
The funniest part would be if he accidentally took some disgruntled heroes along the ride and is the force that cleaves the Hero association in two.
Like idk, maybe form Neo Heroes? To do his own brand of heroism instead and weed out corruption and humanity's evil? Suddenly get a few followers too because he'd probably make a charismatic leader who gives a shit about people, unlike the HA.
Sounds like a cult to me.

The biggest problem of The Mandalorian season 3 is that, if they want to tell a story that Bo-Katan is the chosen leader of Mandalore, they should've let Bo-Katan do all the things that Din did in this season.
She should be the one who found the children of the watch in the first place. She should be the one who bathed in the living water and put on the helmet ON PURPOSE to get the trust of the children of the watch. She should be the one who decided to help Nevarro and get that land for mandalorians. She should be the one who defended Din's right on the Darksaber (not just his right of being a Mandalorian) when Din was facing the insult from Axe. She should be the one who said "They will get along if they wanna survive". She should be the one who said "For thousands of years, we have been on the verge of extinction, and for thousands of years, we have survived". She should be the one who said "But it (Mandalore) was once green and beautiful, back when the songs were written." And after all these plots, Din could give her the Darksaber because he thinks she's a suitable leader.
But instead, we got a plot that says "we don't know how to do all these things without letting Din out of his character, because he's just too good and has a perfect story of Darksaber, so we decided we could just let Din do all these things as himself, and then give all his credit to Bo-Katan in a very ridiculous way. In the end, Din doesn't even need to be at the reborn ritual of his planet in person and absolutely doesn't need to get the credit he deserves. And we will put him back to being a ranger, so we could keep him as a character who could be summoned at anytime in our future Star Wars shows, because audiences love him and Grogu.”
All I can say is these are straight bullshits. They not only treat Din very unfairly, but also totally wasted Din's huge energy as a very unique character in the Star Wars universe.
I don't understand why they did this to Din. They even make him like an outsider of his own planet and culture and people after all he has done for Mandalore. All of this just made me angry and sad.

They will keep disappointing you
Let the fear of the unknown fall away
Let your high-value vibrations shine (start with yourself)
And you will attract what you need
See the beauty in the present, not tomorrow

I can’t really remember when was the last time the holidays felt genuinely happy.
It’s been years really, don’t even know how many. And no, it’s not about the magic of Christmas that ceases when you discover that Santa Claus isn’t real, the lack of gifts under the tree, nor anything correlated to loss of religion. It’s something else, quite hard to put into words.
It’s that feeling of unity, of care, of a place of people that spend a special time with one another, bound by nothing but affection. Everything else: the traditions, the food, the decorations, the presents are just additions, demonstrations of the love that keeps them together.
Now I can’t even describe what it feels like. That hopeful and familiar sensation is gone, substituted by a feeling of brokenness . The spirit has perished and is now a long lost memory, and with its death all of the other correlations have become meaningless (were they even real, or were they just distractions, a cover up for the unveiled anguish that fills these days?).
The holidays have started to look more like a play, a show that we put on in a desperate attempt to emulate as much as possible what these celebrations used to be. But falseness doesn’t belong in such contexts, so each time we fail, and year after year it feels worse and worse. It will never be like before. The holidays are now just a reminder of how fucked up life can be for some people, and how it can’t and never will for some others.
Merry Christmas I guess.

This is written for the song ‘Dancing With Your Ghost’ by Sasha Alex Sloan from @drarrymicrofic
Word count: 225
Drarry microfic: unfair
Cw: mention of loss and grief
Harry laid down on the grass, his throat sore from yelling at the sky. The record player next to him had been playing the same song over and over again for the last half hour. The song, Sirius had told him, was his parents’ favourite. They had danced on it during their wedding party.
The unfairness of it all weighed heavily on Harry’s shoulders. Even if it had happened more than four decades ago now, there were still days when he couldn’t understand why they had to leave him so early.
The sky was clear tonight, the constellations above Godric’s Hollow cottage spread around the dark canvas like splattered paint.
Harry sighed.
“Thought I’d find you here,” a voice said quietly as footsteps neared him on the grass. Draco laid down next to him. “You were gone from bed.”
Harry hummed absentmindedly, his gaze following an airplane that flew high over his head. “Couldn’t sleep.”
One of Draco’s hands found his own, their fingers intertwining. They laid together like that, staring up at the sky, enjoying the peace and quiet of the night with the record player repeating the song again in the background.
It wasn’t fair that they all left him so early. But he had found someone to share that grief with. Someone he loved dearly.
So he knew he would be alright.
Prompt from June 17th

And when that happens I close my eyes and listen to the roar and clatter of the world as it rushes by. We are rushing too. The wind is whipping past us. We are so brief. A one-day dandelion. A seedpod skittering across the ice. We are a feather falling from the wing of a bird. I don't know why it is given to us to be so mortal and to feel so much. It is a cruel trick, and glorious.

Blame someone else for your own failings, your awful dreams, your reimagination of how everything should have gone, was denied to you, was given to someone unworthy. Blame the world for the rights you think are kept from you and you alone. And after you've blamed them all, then you can legitimately ask yourself - why do I still feel worthless?
Life was never meant to be, nor explained as something required to be "fair" to any of us. If you blame enough people for all your own fears, you will always remain alone. Its how the world has chosen to evolve. Get used to it. Or don't.
