Hi you can call me by the first letter of my name ‘T’, I’m in my late 20’s, soft butch, trans masc, enby, stone butch, gender blind (in all respects tbh), vegan, artist, writer, researcher, outdoors fanatic, lover of all things nonhuman

My special interests: philosophy specifically/particularly metaphysics, biocentrism and ecosophy aka anything to do with the study of the matter of our universe and all it contains, the absurdity of how matter is essentially based on illusions and tricks, everything non-human , all the connections/symbiotic relationships of natural relationships in the natural world and also spirituality / faith systems and the law of assumption

My social battery and social ways tend to mean I can be amazing socially socially for a select time but then I crash out and disappear to hermit land (depending on how social I was being this could literally mean no internet interaction for months let alone in person) I’m working on this

I go through phases (years/months) of having great genuine soft friendships to absolutely zero and I want to work on this also, currently and perhaps obvious to this post Im in the latter phase. Which means my social skills are probably poor again. One brilliant thing about adhd though is regardless of all the above as soon as I’m vining with someone I’m the joker of the moment bound to make you smile.

Neurodivergent friends: this is actually a category that can be a loophole on my dni aka men as my issues with men I’ve found can sometimes be not a thing at all with someone neurodivergent, I myself have autism, adhd and cptsd. I’ve had close friendships with I swear like every known diagnostic out there haha so don’t feel you have to be apprehensive about this I know how it is and I’m really chill honestly, they are just descriptions to better establish our ep connections right. Also agere in this context is a vibe and we connect on this.

For in person friendships:

I’m based in the uk, I’m very loyal but to the point I do need to work on it as not to be taken advantage of, I can be quite tactile after trust is established, I, the friend that will always (consensually) pick you up play with your hair give you a back rub or vice versa i love being picked up having hair played with, I also love nature walks, going to queer/poc events, making art/getting crafty, reading (also isn’t it special when you can read in silence with a person or group of persons), friends you can stargaze with or go wild camping are especially close to my heart, despite this post I’m the banter loving playful puppy sort could literally have a conversation that makes zero sense due to its randomness and still have a blast whilst equally get deep on conspiracies and philisophical theories. Also like to binge shows that tend to be, fantasy, lgbt, anime, cartoons, documentaries, crime based, conspiracy based etc

For long distance/online friendships: It could be that we live far apart or you aren’t good with being in person in which case as long as you are the creative writing or rpg sort this could still work, I’ve had friendships that were mainly lived out through back and forth writing creating story experiences to share in worlds we create, or if you are into RPG as this can be similar as long as you are down to teach me the ropes of your game(s) of interest I, down for this, also down to do video calls when we both feel

I will probably end up drawing for you or write you poems lol

Things I think worth noting about me: my literal communication style benefits from CLOSED questions I hate open ended questions as my brain will scan through too many possibilities and uncertainties which can lead to me saying what I think I’m meant to not what I mean, clear and concise communication is great else I overthink or project or misunderstand or get paranoid and probably won’t express this. I sometimes need persistence, like being called, texted a lot in order to start re engaging this actually also helps wit my trust.

I love comics and sorta live off WEBTOON because comics/graphic novels are expensive for how fast you get through them:( particularly obsessed with fantasy stories that entail queer dynamics

I’m happily taken in a relationship so queer couple friendships, friendships with queer families/parents is also great=)

Pit Babe (2023) Ep. 1 & 2

Review: So good. Rating: 8/10

Summary: Star racer Pit Babe is approached by a fan (Charlie) who is interested in joining his team. As danger looms close to Babe, we are left to wonder what is Charlie’s motive in joining Pit Babe?

Main Pairing: Yandere, wakashu alpha X tsundere butch alpha side pairings: Warm older-guy X touch-me-not student; Korean racer X yankee

What I like:

Queers of the omegaverse

I am so glad that the first omegaverse live-action adaptation I got to watch has alpha X alpha main CP. I also love Charlie’s bishonen aesthetics – I love how omega-looking he is: soft and cute. I have a serious weakness for such semes. Korean racer (Kim) X yankee (Winner): I am not sure if that CP is happening. Anyway, I really want that to be an omega X alpha pairing.

An omega seme (with omega-typical aesthetics) is my favorite type of seme in omegaverse. I also want alpha uke to be jealous of other omegas.

2. Awesome direction

Especially the competition scene with Charlie and Pit Babe in the car, them locking eyes. Babe’s overall demeanor, especially his shyness. Every time they are around each other.

3. Amazing chemistry

It has been a long while since I last saw such a good CP.

4. Yandere seme

When Charlie was introduced, I was sure that he is a yandere. But later, I had to change my mind. Charlie’s phone call had me thinking that he is just black-bellied (two-faced). I was disappointed. But then the college student joined the team and I understood that I was played. Charlie is not black-bellied, he is a yandere.

Most probably Gu Hai style yandere. Speculative conclusion: Charlie is there to woo Pit Babe and help him out. I think Charlie probably knows what Babe’s daddy is planning and want to counteract. He is probably some princeling driven by obsession who would win the war and get the guy too.

5. Side characters esp. Way’s unrequited love

Most of the CP sweetness is offset by Way’s pining and pain.

I particularly like Yashiro-Doumeki style villain-subordinate relationship between Tony and Kenta.

Yashiro and Doumeki from the yakuza BL manga Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai. I have a headcanon that involves Yashiro-san continuing in leadership position in yakuza and Doumeki staying by his side as his loyal subordinate. I have wondered what they would be like when Doumeki is 40+ years old. They would probably be like Korn Theerapanyakul and Chan from KinnPorsche (2022) visually.

What I didn’t like:

Maid costume - that scene was too short. Makes sense given Babe’s tsundere ways. Yet I wish.

Here’s how I want a maid costume scene: the camera should erotically pan over seme in maid costume, then show us uke’s reaction to that. Then back to seme who notices the gaze, feels shy and asks – what would you like first: dinner, bath or me. Better if seme is sitting on his heel and looking up at seated uke while asking.

Cherry probably is Pansexual and doesn't care about gender and have equal opinion about women and men.

That's means, that even if Shinji was a male character (hi, Evangelion), Cherry still would date "him".

Yet in relationship with man Cherry won't be submissive or hyper-dominant - she genuinely wants equality between her and him.

Cherry won't be friends with every random girl - Puanani is an exception.

SO BASICALLY I ship johnkat so loyally because my teenage self identified with john more than I ever had with any other character before (a very strong kin, before kinning was a common fandom word), and I had a crush on karkat because I unconsciously saw my dream partner in him: someone absolutely overflowing with love and devotion to give, whose special interest is romance, who falls in love with john so hard and so quickly and adores him for all the qualities he claims to hate (because--he says--"I NEVER HATED YOU." so what else could it be but love?). How I wanted a Karkat! Someone to love me with everything they have, the whole of their being! I tried to force it so hard on my then-love. It hastened the end of our already deteriorating relationship (and I'm glad for it, even though I'm embarrassed by just how desperately I tried to get her to just read Homestuck, please I'll do anything, even one page a day will satisfy me, you promised and you won't do it even though you know how much it means to me, please please please!!!)

Now that I'm an adult and have my dream partner, I understand how I was neglected and starved for care and I understand how those qualities I saw in Karkat would translate into a relationship for John as I see him, and why I was drawn to that. All I knew then was that it made me very, very happy to see them interact (it still does!), but I was very, very picky about my characterization in fandom (I still am).

One thing that I now have words for that I didn't then is that I wanted Karkat to be a service top! LMAO. I couldn't even admit to myself in 2011 BL fandom terms that I wanted him to be the seme. I was viruently against seme/uke terminology, because the ukes were always girlier and the semes were always more masculine which I found to be very heteronormative (not coincidentally: the exact opposite of the dynamic I was into, being, even then, soft butch and more attracted to femmes), and somehow turned that into convincing myself every pairing had to be switches or it wasn't realistic. the fact that I only liked thinking about the character I identified with being submissive meant nothing because when it came down to it, i would top too when I had sex, because everyone only wants to be the bottom, obviously, but you have to take turns. (Despite what fandom has taught me, this is not in fact the case. Tops do exist! Some people actually like being dominant and don't just do it because someone has to!) But I certainly liked the fanworks where Karkat was bigger and stronger a whole lot........

So what this boils down to is, I'm the only person in the world who thinks karkat's a strict top. Sorry to everyone for this Homestuck sacrilege. I know Karkat screams crybaby tsundere uke to the rest of the world but in him, I saw a crybaby tsundere yandere and a mommy gf.

Let me clarify: he's an obsessive-type yandere, not violent. The weirdo basically canonically stalks John, watching his whole life through the computer and falling in love with him. I think he'd just love his partner so much! I think he would worship them, and he wants them in every quadrant (LIKE A DESPERATE FOOL). he wants to be everything to and have everything in one person. It's very intense. I like how that contrasts in how breezy John is. He loves deeply, fiercely, his friends are the most important people in the world to him! But he doesn't know anything about romantic love. He has a little crush on Rose, but the first time he falls in love, with someone who loves him back - he'll fall so hard he'll never get back up.

Karkat would be there to catch him. Unconditional love from someone who understands him. He's a mommy, as much as Kanaya, just in a grumpier way. We see it in the way he grows into his role as leader. A lot of karkat's character development is accepting he's a much softer, kinder person than he thinks the world wants him to be.

Don't get me wrong - John is just as good for Karkat as Karkat does for John. I just feel like what Karkat does for john is less focused on in fandom. But john loves him so. He makes Karkat laugh. John loves so purely, effortlessly. He hands out love and kindness in a way utterly foreign to troll society. He loves all the things Karkat hates about himself and teaches Karkat to love himself in turn. Karkat does that for John, too, which is part of the process. Remember how john scrawled on the walls that he was a stupid idiot dumb kid? And Karkat of course had seen this, and responded with the most flushed of emotions, pity? Is it hard to imagine this helped him look upon himself with love instead of hate? They could change each other for the better. They could be so happy together.

Idk where I was going with this. They could be so happy together. In my head hs^2 never happened and they're soulmates sry

Funny how life is full of full circle journeys. From little gnc nonbinary soft butch always sketching, crafting, drawing and romantising the natural world,

coming out as bisexual at 14 (to everyone)

as nonbinary at 16 (to everyone),

to losing that inner self confidence in self due to falling victim to cisnormative toxic masculinity as a perceived ‘safe space’

to changing pronouns to reflect this and then taking hrt and chest surgery as a teen to coming off completely

and finding myself looking and feeling just as I had before, a gnc nonbinary soft butch always sketching, crafting, drawing and romanticising the natural world.

it confuses me when people see subversion of and resistance against traditional roles as a pursuit that has a correct answer. the goal, I feel, is not to convince everyone who feels stifled by them to take up one method of subverting them. for example, I see a lot of discourse about whether makeup is ‘holding back’ feminism, since it’s usage aligns with a commercialised and capitalistic vision of empowerment, and potentially reinforces the objectification/sexualisation/trivialisation of women and femininity. but the beast we’re dealing with isn’t a simple one… it’s unendingly complex, irrational, and it uses many methods in many contexts to enforce these oppressive social messages. so doesn’t it make sense to subvert with just as much variety? I think the lesbian community (esp within the butch/femme spectrum) demonstrates this resistant variety in such a beautiful way: Butches using she/her; butches using they/he; femmes using she/he; femmes who wear no makeup and dress in practical clothing; butches who wear loud, colourful makeup; femmes who recreate visions of archetypal femininity that does not centre men; soft butches and visions of female masculinity; women who push to redefine beauty; women who reject the notion of beauty in the first place. Of course trans women fall into almost all of these identities too in the lesbian community, and their subversive acts in these veins bring even more subtleties and shades of varieties within these expressions, and the same goes with intersections of race and disability, too. We need the whole team, chipping away at their little bit of the grand lie, pushing back in whatever way they have energy for. Are feminism, ‘empowerment’, ‘self-care’, ‘Revolution’, etc all commercial buzzwords used to capitalise on oppressed people’s desire to feel in control? Absolutely. It’s fucking evil. Are there women who put on makeup out of a deep-seated anxiety about their natural appearance, or out of an awareness that they will be discriminated against without it? Undoubtedly, and that is despicable. But, just as it can be used to conform and reaffirm these suppressive norms, makeup can also be used to subvert, expand and question these standards of beauty and femininity. There is no one subversive way to interact with it— avoid it, boycott it, use it to paint FUCK YOU across your face, highlight features that you’re told not to, seek gender euphoria in a society determined to wear you down, throw it in the bin, use it to live another day. There are communities this country (UK) wants not to exist. Ie, implicitly, dead. To live another day, perhaps with some confidence, perhaps even with a desire to be seen, is resistant. We are worn out, exhausted. Be at the marches, looking however you please. Turn up, using whatever means to get there. Whatever you have energy for, thank you. Whatever your resistance looks like, remember to think at length about other people’s, consider its nuances before you shame the people choosing it.
