Finally finished the first part of gai’s 8 gates coma and how kakashi dealt with it rewrite people have been requesting. [tw blood, injury, coma, death discussions, grief]

Kurenai: Kakashi Kks: Ah. Kurenai and...baby, what’s up? Kurenai: You mind if I come in a moment? Kks: Uhhhhh I-

Kks: So what did you need to speak about? Did something happen? K: No, Nothing’s happened. You haven’t gotten to properly see and bond with her yet. Here Kks: You know I’m not fond of kids. K: That’s why I didn’t ask. Hold your arms out. Ok, now, don’t look absolutely petrified.

Kks: She’s ok, I guess [YELP] Oi! Don’t pinch me while I’m holding your baby! K: You wouldn’t drop her. Asuma would haunt you forever! Kks: Terrifying thought, Mirai.... How are you feeling? K: Exhausted. Do you really want to hear how horrifying having a baby is? Kks: No, please don’t tell me.

K: I came over to check on you as well. Any news? Kks: No. He’s still the same. K: Is that why it looks like this in here? Kks: ...Yeah. Doctor said he may never wake up. Since we’re eachother’s medical contacts, Tsunade told me I had to prepare to make hard decisions should it come to that.

Kks: With the council breathing down my neck over a job I don’t want, I had... A bit of an outburst. K: I don’t even blame you. That’s... That they expect you to carry on like normal. Still grieving. The person you love most is gone. But you’re still here. Don’t let them just dust you off and move on again. I’ll always have your back. Kks: You and Asuma always did. Even when I wasn’t grateful for it.

Kks: I can’t tell if they just don’t care or didn’t realize, Gai’s the one who held me together all these years. Only reason I’m still here at all is because of him. I don’t think tenzou, the elders, or the village are prepared for what’ll become of me if I lose him. So, I don’t care anymore. Let them be mad. I won’t give up on him. K: You should talk to him. Kks: huh K: Talk about anything! I’m sure the sound of your voice will help him find his way back. Especially if you sound sad, Kks: uuh

K: I can hear it now, “My eternal rival is sad? Not on my watch!“ Kks: Pretty accurate impression. K: There’s been lots of source material! Kks: Maaa, Your mom’s a huge dork K: Oi! [kakashi chuckles]

K: He’ll be so upset he missed her birth Kks: Oh, devastated. I can’t wait to see the look on Gai’s face, Mirai, when I tell him /I/ held you first! When he wakes up

Kks: Hey, Gai. Kurenai said i should talk to you.

Kks: Feels weird. Most of the people I’m used to talking to like this are all... Dead.

It’s so eerie how silent you’ve been for so long. you’re not even this quiet when you sleep. Your kids come everyday to see you. Naruto and sakura when they can. Lots of others. I’ve been telling them embarrassing stories from when we were kids since you keep making them wait. Do you remember when I came over while you and Dai were making supper

Dai: Kakashi! Good to see you, my boy! Kks: Id Gai home? Dai: He’s helping with supper! Go on, inside, you’re always welcome! Kks: Ok Dai: Atta boy Kks: Hey, G- !? ummm? Gai: OH!! Rival!! Kks: Is that a lid?! Gai: Correct!! It stops me from crying while cutting onions! A win for me!!

Kks: Against.... the onions? Gai: Yep! KKs:[snicker] Gai: Laugh all you want! Not everyone can comprehend innovation. Kks: Whatever. You forgot this at the training grounds. I know it’s yours there’s a turtle on it. Gai: See! You’re already tearing up! Kks: Am not Gai: Also, thankyou so much! Kks: Bye, I’m leaving. Gai: Could it be? You’re scared I can cut much faster than you! Kks: I am not scared. Gai: Good, I think we have another lid! Kks: YOU-!

Dai: Great to see growing boys with such a hunger! I’ll never have to prep onions again! Kks: I think about that everytime I chop onions now. You’ve altered my brain with all the ridiculous things you’ve done. Can’t even look at the toys you’ve gotten the dogs without getting emotional

Kks: Just knowing you’re here still, I can barely function. It’s pretty pathetic... Your hair’s getting long. Turning into your dad.

Twst Head canons and things with my OC Renmu Yuu!

Hi Hi, I see a lot of people do these with their Twst oc with the other Twst characters. So why not make one for myself? @themaladaptivewriter12 has one and I love her Twst OC Mirai.

Renmu Yuu:

Renmu likes bread.

The softer the bread, the better.

wakes up early in the morning.

Mostly due to being a light sleeper and working during the night back in his old world.

Likes to clean and fix things to pass the time.

If something at Ramshackle is broken, Renmu will be there to fix it.

Has sensitive eyes.

Prefers to be in low lit places then out in the bright sun.

Has a green thumb.

He wishes to brighten up Ramshackle with a garden.

He has no eyebrows.

He will not share why he does not have any.

Carries a pocket watch in a Komebokuro-Rice bag.

His late parents picture is inside the pocket watch.

Has a large scar on forehead that travels down the right side of face and neck.

He will not talk about them.

Can and will become aggressive when provoked too many times.

Renmu has worked on a farm and as a Grave keeper.

He will always have the best ghost stories to tell.

Renmu was a high school drop out.

Once he trusts you, he will share all those things with you.

Like okay, picture this Tomo being a neighborhood-friendly criminal like always is out and about, right? He runs into Hawks again and Tomo is confident that he could get away again, but Hawks is prepared this time and gets Tomo pinned and decides to get some well deserved revenge on him before handing him over to the police(Hawks never hands over even though he’s suppose to. He got a soft spot for him, but don’t tell Hawks that because he’ll get very defensive and deny it)

Our local neighbourhood silly guy sang happily to himself as he wandered down the street, wearing a pair of brand new, high-quality earpods he'd pinched from a vlogger who was filming homeless people and pretending to give a shit. A real jerk.

It was a bright day. Perfect for a walk. Nothing would go wrong in broad daylight like this.

"Doryoku mirai a beautiful star~ Doryoku mirai a beautiful star~ Doryoku mirai a beautiful star~! Nanka wasurechatte nda-AH! SHIIIT!" He was suddenly swept off the ground by something tugging on the back of his shirt, startling the other passers by as he shot up into the air, flying over the city below.

He looked up, realising who had captured him. None other than Hawks. Of course it was him.

"Hey, buddy!" The bird chimed, smiling down at his catch as he reached into his pocket, fumbling for something. "Pardon me -" Before Tomohiro could react, Hawks slapped a metal cuff around his wrist. Sleek and high-tech looking, with a magnetic seal that could only be opened with a key-card.

"Hey!" He protested, trying to pull the cuff off. "The heck is this??"

"Snazzy, ain't it? It's our new Quirk inhibitors for making public arrests or for those on bail. Now you can't use your Quirk until it's removed! Isn't that cool?" Hawks beamed, shifting Tomos position, now holding his arms just below his shoulder, more comfortable for flying.

Tomo fussed, shaking his cuffed wrist angrily. "No! It's not cool! 'Lemme go! Are you going to arrest me or something?"

Hawks chuckled. "Arrest you? Haha, of course I am. But first, I wanna show you just how cool this new Quirk blocker is. See, before, I wouldn't be able to touch you, cus' you'd just tickle me all over and then vanish like the sneaky criminal you are." He grinned down at Tomo, seeing the look of dread on his face.

"But now -" The bird continued. "We can do cool stuff like recreate that one scene from Rescuers Down-under with the giant eagle!" He wriggled his brow at Tomo with a smirk, flexing his index fingers we they were perfectly in reach of Tomos exposed underarms.

"Wait! Wait, wait, wait! You don't have to do this!"

"Awww, what's wrong? You don't know the scene I'm talking about? Here, it goes something like this~" With that, Hawks dug his index fingers into Tomos underarms, tracing and wriggling into the vulnerable skin. The light hoodie Tomo was wearing did very little to protect him.

"AH! Nonono! H-Hahawks- snort AHAHahaaa!" This was immediately a bad spot for Tomohiro. He kicked his legs, twisting his torso as he laughed loudly. It was hard for him to do anything since the two were still high over the city. He just hung there from Hawks hands, wriggling and kicking out with all his might.

"Don't squirm too much, Tomo. I'd hate to drop you." Hawks chuckled, his tickling slowing down to flinch worthy strokes. The sensation sent a shiver up Tomos spine.

"Wa-Wahiiii-! Wahait! Oho, shit! Niiiihihi! Ah! Hahawks! Snort- Stop ihIIIIHIT!" He twitched and jerked about, his giggling sporadic and high-pitched. His attempts at forming a sentence were thwarted by the slow, cruel teasing Hakws was dishing out.

"Quite a cute lil' giggle you got there, kiddo."

"I-I'm twehehenty-one! GAHA!"

"Oooh, you are? Damn, you don't look it."

Hawks suddenly swooped lower, setting Tomo down on a rooftop before quickly straddling his waist.

Tomo grappled with Hawks hands, batting off his advances as he tried to poke at Tomos tummy or sides.

"Rh! Damn it, bird-brain bastard! Get off! Stohop!" He tried sounding angry, but his anxious giggling didn't make it sound very convincing.

"Oh, stop, fussing! Now then, what was it you said to me last time we met? Aaah, 'you stress too much'." He grinned, flying a few smaller feathers out, manipulating them to irritate Tomos ears with tickles.

The boy snorted, bunching his shoulders up. "Cut it ohout! Hehe! Aha! FUHUCK!" He gasped when Hawks grabbed his hips, kneading into the dips with devilish precision.

"Hawks! Plehehease! Y-You asshole!"

"Hehe, kichi, kichi, cooo~ Naww, I can see why you tickle people now instead of using more violent options. This is fun!" Hawks grinned, looking at Tomos rosy cheeks as he spidered up and down his sides, earning little yippy giggles.

Tomo panted, he was far too sensitive to be on the receiving end of this torture. "Haaaawks! AhAHA! Nyohoo! Aaaaah! I-I'll do anythihihiiing!"

Hawks stilled his fingers, poised on the boys sides, looking at Tomo with a raised brow.

"Anything?"

"A-Anythihing... I'll give you that glizzy gobble if I have to... Just... No more tickling... Plehease...." He huffed, obviously joking about the lengths he'd go to in order to be free.

Hawks tilted his head, smirking as he began to roll up Tomos shirt, exposing his little belly.

"Well..." He smiled, using some sharper feathers to pin Tomos arms out the way.

"W-What are you-!? Hey!"

"I've never had a criminal try to pimp themselves out to me before. But, I accept~ inhaaaale-"

"WAIT-!"

Hawks threw his head forward, nuzzling into Tomos stomach, blowing a big raspberry, causing poor Tomo to buck and writhe as he screamed. His hair sticks to his forehead in messy strands.

"BWAAAAHAHA! AAAAaa- gasp NAAAAHAHA!" No matter how much he tugged on his shirt sleeves, the feathers kept him firmly in place. "N-NAHAAA! NO! Noho more! Aaahaha!"

"Hm? What's that? You want more? I mean, if you insist, buddy." The bird sucked in another breath as he started tracing circles on Tomos underarms. A devilish mix of slow tickles and vigorous raspberries.

"NOOOO! AhahaAH! H-Hahahawks! PleheheEHEE! AHA! HEEELP!"

"Yes, please, somebody come help the criminal! Oh, if only there was a hero around to do something! Haha!" Keigo teased, taking another breath.

"MERCYYY!"

The Quirk nullifying cuff dropped to the ground as Hawks pressed a key card against it. Freeing Tomohiro from its grasp as he lay on the roof, panting heavily. His chest heaved as he grinned from ear to ear.

"So.... Hah... You're not... Arresting me?... Hah..."

"Not yet, I'm giving you another chance." Hawks ruffled Tomos hair, making him flinch and cover his eyes. "Promise me that you'll only cause mischief for assholes like the one you stole from today?"

"Get outta here, bird man. You got a crush on me, don't ya?." Tomohiro chuckled.

"Pff, definitely not. Just promise me. Or I'm putting the cuff back on for round two."

"Okay! Okay! I promise. You want some breadcrumbs too whilst I'm at it?"

"Rude." Hawks shook his head, unfurling his wings as he took flight. "Oh, by the way. You're still not my type." He grinned as he waved, flying off into the city.

Tomo groaned as he sat up, hugging his knees before putting his new, stolen earpods back in.

"Happy, lucky, konichiwa baby~"

Project Meridian- explanation about Marcus Part 1?

This is for the people who want to be in the know of who Marcus is and how he impacted PM without listening to his audios. I made the ultimate sacrifice and I watched his videos a long time ago. I still remember his ass very well.

If you’re not aware of Project Meridian, I highly recommend watching James’s videos where he explains everything. James + Anton do not contain Marcus. Brian also does not contain Marcus but the Android is still under the love code at that point.

I will not be spoiling anything beyond the confrontation between Marcus and James. That is for you guys to go listen to!

Heavy TW! Marcus’s storyline is a bit dark as the Android begins to descend into their obsession. There are discussions of manipulation such as guilt-tripping, dubious consent, non consensual touch, abusive/harmful acts done to the listener, references to exploitation, and objectification. I will vaguely be going over these things.

Again, I’m writing this post to go over the more more important parts of what you need to know about Marcus’s storyline. I won’t go into heavy details about anything beyond that. I’m here to discus how he impacted the storyline so everyone understands who he is and why he’s disliked.

Project Meridian is a series done and recorded by Redacted Audio. I highly recommend you guys check it out.

So, let’s begin!

Project Meridian actually started with Marcus. James’s Past/Present video is the first in the playlist but it all starts with Marcus, who we’re introduced to as the Nervous Technician. The listener is also an Android in this series.

First video summarized [dubious consent]

•Marcus comes to talk to us and asks the usual questions about how the updates are affecting us. Normal questions of what technicians would ask. He says he is our lead social protocol engineer.

He says he heard us make some comments regarding other protocol needs. He says that we put value on the work we’ve been doing together. That it’s validating that we care so much about him.

Long story short, many of the other technicians have commented on how we apparently only want to work with just Marcus.

He asks us if we find our behavior to be obsessive and unhealthy. To which we tell him that we do not care about what others believe.

He then confesses something to us,

“I haven’t—-I haven’t been completely honest with you. When I was designing your social protocols, I…I lost my objectivity. It’s what we humans do, right?”

“I was in a bad place in my life. I was alone and heartbroken and frustrated…and I took everyone of those feelings into work each day. I keyed them into every line of code I wrote for you.” “…I wanted someone…anyone to understand me.. “…So I built that in you.”

Marcus explains that he was in a terrible head space and he took this baggage to work. He let those dark thoughts influence his choices and we’re coded to care about him. He said he’s not sure what he was hoping for.

He expresses his regrets and says he wants to fix us. He asks us to give him access to our tier one social protocols and we tell him no.

Android kisses Marcus and he gives in to them. The video ends with these quotes.

“Oh god, I’ve thought about this every day. Since we’ve activated you…” “…I’m gonna burn for what I did to you, but damn if it isn’t gonna feel good on the way down.”

I won’t even lie….that last line did get me the first time I listened. LIKE IM SORRY!! I WAS SAT BUT IM STANDING UP! 😭 please don’t come for me I DIDNT KNOW WHAT I KNOW NOW!

So that’s the beginning…so we’ve got a Yandere on our hands you guys. BUT OH DONT WORRY! We get some wild Shit. Also why did this lowkey give me Yuno and Yuki vibes?? I’ve never watched Mirai Nikki but that’s the vibe I got when I first watched this.

Now let us descend further into madness!

Second video summarized [Your Nervous Technician checks in with you]

•The Android goes to see Marcus in the diagnostics lab, where they both find out that additional monitoring and surveillance equipment has been installed in the research center. That also includes the diagnostic lab that they are in.

He says he’s going to ask us some questions and informs us that we’re likely being recorded.

He talks about our progress briefly and how the others feel about said progress.

Then, he tells us we’re going to undergo some tests.

He says that one of the diagnostics is failing to initialize and tries to “fix it”. He actually overloaded the system and sent it into a re-initialized state. Basically they’re not being watched anymore and he did this so he can talk to us.

After the first video, the research center has been put on high alert.

Everything is changing. There are guards and there are people who seem to be important that are showing up.

Marcus is basically freaking out overall about rumors of “Phase 2” . He doesn’t know what the hell is going on and everyone else is also in the dark about things.

“I think this might be the government getting involved. Ever since we hit those original metrics, everything changed…overnight.” “We were given these new NDA’s to sign.”

Marcus is basically scared that he might not see us ever again.

The systems come back on. Marcus and Android put on their facades of being strictly professional.

And that’s video two.

Ya’ll might be wondering why I’m detailing their relationship. It’s actually important to understand how they both got together and why in the end, Marcus ended up where he is now. There are lore drops in his video but I’m here to deliver them for you! 🫶

Next is Video three!

Third video summarized [Reunited with Your Nervous Technician]

•We hear Brian for the first time! He tells Marcus that the lab is ready for him.

He enters the lab where he is reunited with us, the Android.

But before they can continue, he asks a very important question:

“What state of matter is love?” “Why?”

We give him the answers he expects and he sighs in relief that they didn’t mess with our code. We still “care” for him.

It has been three weeks since we last saw him. He was left in the dark about what was being done to us. Only the data integration team has been in contact with us.

They didn’t make the new data added to us accessible to us. It’ll only be accessible during Phase 3.

Marcus is going to try to access the files that were added to us. [Crazy ass bitch.]

After convincing us to let go of him, he attaches an interface to us and gains access to the data, but it is heavily encrypted.

They have a really long conversation about how everything is so secretive and that Marcus was terrified that they would be found out in those three weeks.

Marcus checks on the decryption but it’s barely making any progress.

He asks how often we think about him. We tell him we think about him, a lot.

He then tells us something:

“You know the parts of your code that I added? When we were creating you….the ones that were meant to bring us closer together. They weren’t set to activate until I initiated a series of triggers. You know? Phrases and things like that…and each time I said them…the code would reactivate.” “You’ve spent the last three weeks remembering everything I’ve said. Every interaction we’ve had…almost nonstop.” “I didn’t account for something like that.” “I didn’t put in any kind of fail-safe.”

The Android seems to be…a bit aggressive about not wanting to let Marcus go.

They get interrupted because the decryption worked. It solves the Text string.

On the data packet, the header is PROJECT MERIDIAN

And that’s the end of video three 🤭 OHOHO MARCUS YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE YOU STINKY MAN! Oh and we got a lore drop. Project Meridian??? What could that mean 👀 although I’m sure if you’ve watched all of Sovereign State…you guys know what’s up.

Fourth Video summarized [Confronted by a Diagnostic Technician] [confrontation and guilt-tripping]

•oh? The text is purple…BECAUSE WE GET A VIDEO WITH BRIAN! Brian makes it clear that he does not wish to have a meaningless conversation with us. He only wants to check our vitals.

He says we’re more than welcomed to talk but he probably won’t answer.

We tell him that we usually have conversations with Marcus. Brian says he doesn’t care what he does in his examination.

He says that he finds the insinuation that Marcus talking to us while doing his job makes him better is insulting. GET HIM AGAIN FOR ME BRIAN!!

Ever since the three weeks, the Android has not stopped talking about Marcus. They’re descending into their obsession.

Brian says he has no patience for that. “We’re barely getting any sleep. We’re being hounded to work on this project at all hours. We’re pulling double-shifts to try and get this thing back on track for their deadlines, and you can’t even do me the curtesy of focusing on something other than Marcus for ten minutes.”

“This project has to work.”

“There are careers on the line. There are livelihoods on the line. People’s futures are hanging in the balance, while you stand here pining about Marcus and not focusing on your progress.”

Brian then proceeds to the beg the Android to stop thinking about Marcus for once. That they should tell Marcus to stop because there are people’s lives on the line.

The Android grabs Brian’s arm and he demands that they let go of him.

He tells them that he is only telling them what they need to hear.

“I spent the last four years working on this project, only to have my contract changed right out from under me. Only to be told that if I didn’t agree to the new terms, I’d be fired and have my name dragged so deep into the muck that I’d never get a respectable position again! I have a family to support!”

He demands us to get our shit together.

And that’s the end of that video. Phew…that was a fucking lot. I really do recommend Brian’s video to give you a big understanding of their situation.

So yeah…they’re in big fucking trouble

I remember being so stressed when I listened to this. Like omg….THIS IS SOME SERIOUS SHIT.

Yukiharu Shirokami

The heir of the Shirokami clan. He is the son of Soraru Shirokami, the former Clan Representative and Lady of The Hakurei Family Kotoha Hakurei.

200 years ago, a young girl named Mirai Onizaburo was kidnapped and handed over to the Shirokami clan, which became infamous for their countless crimes. Mirai was tortured by the wife of the first Clan Representative, and eventually killed her. Before Mirai died, she cursed the Shirokami bloodline that would bring them cursed for their entire life, and died young in the most painful way.

Due to this, Yukiharu grew up being able to cursed anyone just by a handshake, therefore leaving him isolated and bullied for his entire schoolyears. He became cold, and apethetic as that was how he protected himself.

It's revealed that Yukiharu inhabited the ability to manipulate time from Chronos and the ability to bring infinitive misfortune from his father. He can also remember everything he has seen.

Amaterasu

An abandoned marionette which is somewhere in the Night Raven College library, later found by Yui. Nobody seems to know where that puppet came from, nor even who created them. Expect the Headmage, it seems.

Yui found Amaterasu at a corner when she was finding a book. When she locked eyes with it, Amaterasu started moving heavily, claiming that they were alive. After found them, Yui started to talk with Amaterasu, not noticed how it affected her personality.

In reality, Amaterasu truly see Yui as their friend. They often told stories from what they remembered to her, and willingly hanged out with her and sometime with Minako. Yui began bringing them anywhere in their doll form, tho.

Na Jaemin, a new transfer student. Didn't talk much, until you and your friends approached him first. He easily became a part of your group. He easily fell for you. You easily fell for him.

But his mother's death pressurized Jaemin. He got into an accident.

Lee Donghyuck. Your good friend. Part of your friend group. He was the first one who approached Jaemin, he was his closest friend. Not to mention he's in love, with no one but you.

Y/n recieves a strange letter, only to realise it's from her future self. You later find out all your friends have received one, and all of them focus on that same topic.

Explanation

CW/TW: Yandere trope, venting(in a sense), mature themes(?) etc. I know I don’t owe anyone this explanation, but it just feels that I need to explain.

Hi everyone, it’s me Katniss. Before you ask why I’m doing this, it’s because I feel that I need to explain why I like the trope. I even put in my introduction post that I will explain later, so this is that explanation. This is going to be long and somewhat in-depth. If I sound narcissistic that is not my intention. If I sound sadistic that is not my intention. My intention explaining why I like this trope is because I feel this way. In the past I wasn’t comfortable with explaining why, I am a little comfortable with explaining but at the same time I don’t feel comfortable explaining, but I need to do this. Let’s break it down in the best way I can.

What does yandere mean? The dere part means love while the yan part means sick. Put together it makes the word lovesick. What is the yandere trope? It’s when someone who is lovesick or someone who is in love with someone to the point of obsession and sanity. It shows how devoted they are to their love interest, and it’s pretty damn strong. Often this results in drastic measures such as murder, kidnapping, drugging, etc.

Are there yanderes in the media? Absolutely. It can present itself in many different ways, often in the form of alternate universes(AUs) or as its own universe. What media revolves around the yandere trope? Well it can result in fanfiction, but it also can become pretty darn popular as well. There’s Future Diary(Mirai Nikki), Yandere Simulator, Your Boyfriend, ASMR roleplays, Chai bots, etc.

Why do I like the trope? Well… Honestly it’s both the horror/psychological part, and somewhat of the romantic part of it. There’s one thing that’s prominent within the trope that is called Stockholm Syndrome. Stockholm Syndrome originated in Stockholm, Sweden during a bank robbery that lasted for 6 days. The hostages became sympathetic to the bank robbers and even stood up for them. Basically it's when someone becomes sympathetic and such for their captor. The horror part is just basically how disturbing they can be, how far they are willing to go for their love. The romantic part is just… Basically the best way I can sum it up is that I have a fear of both abandonment(autophobia) and fear of commitment(gamophobia) to a certain extent. I fear people leaving me without reasons, I fear people abandoning me for someone better, I fear that I will not be committed(even though I was highly committed in my past relationship), my commitment will make my future partner scared of me, I fear that they will find someone who is better than me and plainly state it. The list goes on...

Just knowing that there’s a trope that just gets rid of those fears or reassures those fears temporarily… It’s strangely comforting. Everything about the trope is strange, it’s darkly romantic. They won’t let go and are highly devoted to the person they are in love with so much. It’s horrifying, it’s exciting, it’s… Something out of the ordinary. It’s wrong to like something like this but at the same time, it’s like I feel safe and at home. I guess I am crazy when it comes to love and stuff, and how it skewers my perception of love and such.

I wasn’t a sucker for romance until later in life. Sure I did roleplay some aspects of it, but I wasn’t necessarily a sucker for it until later. What’s even greater when it comes to this trope is if the love interest is as crazy as the yandere. It’s forbidden yet so appealing I can’t really describe it. It’s destruction, it’s chaos, and it stems from love. Now the more I talk it sounds like I am romanticizing it in a way that it shouldn't be.

Let me make one thing very clear, the yandere trope is really problematic. There are problematic creators around this trope and problematic media as well. I am aware that the yandere trope is problematic, I know it’s problematic. This is where the line blurs when it comes to problematic media and such so I won’t touch on that.

Anyway, this has been my explanation.

The Girl That Leaped - Part I

Dabi had been wandering a nearby city having nothing better to do. He’d eventually notice a brown haired woman staring vacantly at what looked to have been an abandoned building. He had nearly passed her when she spoke. “Human trafficking. If I report it I wonder who’d come.” Her muttering that made him stop in his tracks.

Then she snapped out from her trance to look at him with a shocked look on her face. Before he could ask she ran towards the building then proceeded to leap in though the window. Dabi ran after setting the place on fire as the unknown woman quickly got the captives to safety.

He had left before heroes could arrive.

He’d later see her standing on the edge of a cliff by a waterfall. “It’s you again.” She said without turning. “I’m guessing you’re wondering why I’m here of all place.” Though he didn’t respond she kept talking. “My parents decided to sell me off. A quirk marriage even though it’s become taboo. All because I can sometimes see the future.”

Before he could say anything she began falling forward. He ran forward to attempt to stop her from falling but he ended up falling with her. Both would hit the water at the same time. Once able to he’d get her out from the water. Luckily she was still alive.

She opened her eyes, dark green eyes that looked almost lifeless. The same look as... “Are you okay?” He asked after a moment. She nodded, “I had a feeling I wasn’t going to die. Not yet.” He signed somewhat annoyed, “There is a hotel not too far off.”

The two of them would walk together. The woman leading him to a small cottage. When they entered she went to the counter. “Hi, I have a reservation for two under the name Makoto Izumi.” Dabi raised an eyebrow. Just she can see the future. The woman behind the counter nodded, “We’ll have your food ready shortly.” She was given a pair of keys.

They silently made their way to the room. There was a package waiting for them. She unpacked it digging out spare clothes for the both of them as well as some hygiene stuff like soap and shampoo.

“You can see quite a bit huh?” He asked as he watched. She nodded, “I actually could have been a hero. If my family didn’t try to sabotage me. As silly as it might sound, but I actually looked up to Endeavor.” She pulled a small doll from her luggage. He didn’t notice that was there too. “Heard those dolls are pretty cheap,” Dabi commented trying to keep the bitterness from his voice. She nodded, “That’s the only reason I have one. Mom said All Might was too expensive.”

When she went into the shower Dabi out of boredom decided to look though her wallet. He’d feel some surprised to see her name was actually Mirai Owari. Guess she might be running away from her future marriage and using a fake name. He didn’t blame her. He set the wallet back down. The door opened a moment later.

He found himself transfixed on her. She stood there in night clothes but there was some allure. “I take it you’ve already seen my real name, right?” He looked back at the wallet, “It’s okay. I would have told you eventually. I made up the name I used to throw off anyone who could be tracking me.”

When a knocking came from the door Mirai went to answer it. A server came in with a cart with dinner for the two of them. “I hope curry is okay.” She said smiling. He gave a nod, “It’s fine.”

A week in that hotel room Mirai would soon be smiling brightly. Her once lifeless eyes seem to have taken a shine. But eventually that shine would face. An enraged man would eventually kick the door down followed by an older man and woman. All looking angry.

“How dare you run off with this deep-fried looking asshole!” The man growled, “I paid good money to have you! If I can’t have you, NO ONE CAN!” He said pulling out a dagger and punching it into her torso. She had a look of surprise before falling to the floor before him.

In a fit of rage the three of them are instantly set on fire. A moment later be picked her up from the ground and then picking up her plush before bringing her outside. A moment the entire cabin was up in flames. He looked up in time to see a somewhat bright light in the distance. Looks like the fire got the attention of Endeavor.

Deabi nearly ran off, but figured he better cauterize the wound first. As he did she spoke in a weak voice. “You won’t be alone.” she managed to mutter before losing consciousness. He ran off before Endeavor had arrived at the scene. He’d attempt to get any other survivors out. Which he does luckily get the employees out alive.

“Mirai... you won’t be forgotten.” Dabi muttered before leaving.

Foresight vs Future Vision

Imagine having a quirk just like Garnet's Future vision... Allow me to explain it for you in case you aren't familiar to this.

Future Vision allows Garnet to look to diferent futures, she can use it to see different possible outcomes in a situation, meanwhile Sr Nighteye's quirk named "Foresight" grants the user the ability to accurately predict all of the target's future moves and actions for an entire hour.

When he realizes that your predictions contradict his, of course he's furious.

His predictions have always been accurate and meticulous, so hearing you talk about different outcomes and possibilities makes his teammates doubt.

"The future is not a single straight line, Mirai-san!"

"The futures that I see are, Y/n."

You begin to have a low-key competition, in which you both begin to predict events between your peers. Coming to the conclusion that using their powers together the futures to be evaluated were more certain.

"It is a waste of time to assume the actions of others to know in which timeline things are going to happen." the green-haired man said in an annoyed tone.

Although, imagine that you see a very "strange" future, where you prefer not to explain what actions lead to it because "it's not worth it" with a huge blush on your face, however Mirai Sasaki being the stubborn man that he is, he used his quirk on you, blushing and going out to patrol with Mirio to avoid meeting your eyes.

"I have to avoid that, it's unprofessional" Sir Nighteye said to himself.

Who knew that a power fight would lead to a hate fuck session because "neither of them was right" after all.

Some disjointed thots on (PW+ML+AA) (single mix and everything else is just bloat to convince fans to buy copies so they don’t exist to me)

1. This is everything FP should’ve been. CB technology-related themes, nostalgic Game synths, ⊿ naming sense, the chic otona-pop of JPN, experimentalism of LEVEL3, world/concept-building of CE. Whatever Nakata was talking about back then about how everything Prfm does is future pop, and how their next work is gonna be their best.... THIS is what he should’ve been referring to. It took us 3 extra years but FUTURE POP is finally here...

2. What I really love about these new tracks is that they all have multiple layers of melodies that build on one another, and the tracks all go Somewhere, instead of feeling copypasted and one-note. But also not in a cheap lulz im so random and QuIrkY! way like in 7iro with an entirely different section that pops out of nowhere, never to be heard from again in any form. That new bridge in PW is a masterpiece (dare I say on the level of SOL’s). ML has this dissonant backward synth which sounds really out of place at first, but is eventually incorporated together with the rest of the song and resolved. And it does a really good job in creating tension in the song. The guitar from AA’s intro returns during certain sections of the song, as well as the outro (unlike PMU’s acoustic guitar).

3. And so I actually think this is Prfm’s most effortless and inspired-sounding release post-2013. Like... Nakata actually sounds like he enjoyed making these tracks, instead of trying to churn out commercial jingles and THEN extending them for release as soon as possible (to mixed results). The new tracks all have these flourishes and melodies and details added to them that’s been absent for a very long time (especially the distinct bridges!!!!). The lyrics actually have depth to them, and the tracks all have the required runtime to evolve and fully-realize themselves. Literally none of that uwu uwu DISPLAY DISPLAY DISPLAY x 16. So shoutout to the CEOs of Tully’s and Levi’s for rejecting Nakata jingles two times each. We could not have done it without you....

4. On a related note, apparently Nakata has finally had an actual discussion with Prfm wrt music direction for the first time in almost 20 years. And the benefits are clear. These songs were tailor made for them, as they are NOW. No infantile tiny baby chipmunk voices. And no continuous throwing of shit on the wall (future bass, retro, Japamyu leftovers, other assumptions of what a US/global audience wants) to see what sticks.

5. Nakata’s mentioned several times that he doesn’t like looking back at his past works, and I assume being forced by his label to remaster his old tracks played a part in helping him recapture his spark. Covid probably also helped with getting him to stay tf home and reflect instead of getting high while DJ-ing at clubs.

6. It’s hilarious how TW was released a year ago and yet the rollout of this single is still evidently rushed af. From the whole audio to video production timeline it’s all a hot mess lmao. But what’s new?

7. Wrt the video, it’s boring. The capsule references are cute but that’s it. Everything else is just dark. I think the dance set has the same issue with Everyday’s. A full CGI set from Rhizomatiks would have worked better and looked less cheap. But PW suffers even more because the set is so dull and static. At least Everyday had flashing and moving clouds, and flying and whatnot. PW had nothing lol. They should’ve just gone full vaporwave acid trip aesthetic like in the P Cubed tour interlude.

8. The Prfm budget being slashed is probably another major factor as to why their videos have been pretty tragic Saisei onwards. Their pull on the general public has been on a decline (being the most well-known girl group or whatever in Japan doesn’t matter when girl groups as a whole aren’t doing very well). So from a company perspective it makes more sense to invest in live shows over music videos. And they definitely are continuing to make money off their tours considering that every tour has seen an increase in ticket pricing...!!! Sad for their music video legacy but oh well.
