dude if someone looked at you and went "you're still a fan of starwars? in 2024?" in a genuine manner you'd think they're fucking insane because like. really? people being fans of DSMP lore isn't a BAD THING. OR A SHAMEFUL THING? dude get off tiktok and twitter for a bit and realize that people can like things that are more then a year or two old. i know the algorithm ruined your attention spans but that's no reason to genuinely bully and harass people for liking dsmp lore in 2024. get over yourself. this also applies to homestuck, steven universe, spiderman/spiderverse (yes I've seen it), any old mcyts, fnaf, batim, and anything else you can think of. get over yourself.

Please tell me I'm not the only one that thinks Varian isn't a skinny twink and actually has a decent amount of muscle, he's made like multiple robots let alone water heat thingys and being raised on a farm

Yeah Hugo probably has some muscle from stealing and fights from what I can only imagine store employees and people on the street, he's also probably malnourished and not eating enough as he should figuring he needs to steal everytime he eats or drinks. I feel like at first Hugo meets Varian and thinks he's a pencil and he's like "yeah lol this nerds weak" a couple episodes later Varian lifts multiple things including Hugo

Idk I just don't think varians totally weak, like yeah he prefers fighting with gadgets and doodads but he's worked on a farm and made multiple things that need hard work and some strength

um… rant i posted on discord but now im posting here becwuse im very proud of it

so basically in homestuck both dave and karkat are knights which means they have similar ideals and morals especially when eorking with a team which knights are a helper class they make sure everyone else is okay before they help and thats corresponded by dave dying for jade and also putting his friends before himself just like karkat who keeps all his friends together and makes sure nobody is out of line which is also a blood thing but he wants the best for his friends like dave does

and they were both raised with fear mongering because dave was raised by bro to be the “perfect man” and “cool guy” with fear of getting hurt and mind games and constant fighting and manipulation and karkat was manipulated by the whole alternian society because he was a mutant which means hes an outcast and is pretty much damned to death no matter what kinda person he is because alternia is fucked up

so they both have that to relate to eachother by and also on the meteor they both get to know eachother more and learn that they arent that different especially with their ideals sure they seem different at first but really theyre both very alike and karkat has this way of seeing thru daves stoic mask bullshit and always knows the truth hes very brutally honest which is what dave needs because he had been raised on lies and so had karkat but karkat had taught himself that it was all bullshit and he is who he is and dave nrrds to learn how to accept hinself too

and yes i know plot wise davekat was added in just to appease the fans because other karkat/dave ships have more plot relevance and shit but I DO NOT CARE I LOVE THEM SO MUCH nobody can take them away from me…

idk if you can tell but i like davekat… also this is like my perspective on things and its all my opinion its chill af if you don’t agree but i love talking about my favorite things so much

Okay, so basically, I've been revisiting the older FNF mods (from around 2020-2021), for nostalgia's sake. So I started rewatching the FNF HD mod. I knew it was 90% a reskin mod, so I did not have my expectations TOO high.

But for the most part, I don't dislike it as much as other people do, the artstyle's neat and it was one of the first few mods that tried to give FNF a story. Even if it's not as cool as it used to be back then, it was fine for its time.

But I do have ONE pet peeve with it. The part I remember disliking the most, even back in 2021:

Pico. Yeah, I'm gonna be real, I did not like Pico in FNF HD. They just made him into the biggest dickhead imaginable in that mod.

I know Pico from FNF or even the Pico's School series isn't exactly a saint, I know that, but bruh, in FNF HD the guy was just insuferable.

So it's true that GF's dad hired Pico to kill BF, that part is accurate.

But in vanilla FNF, Pico CHOSE to spare BF due to their past relationship. In HD, nah he's cool killing BF, he's just "playing with his food" before he does.

My dude, you have the gun, you want to kill BF, he's right there infront of you, why are you wasting your time doing this?? (Even if GF can just shoo him away with her demon powers anyway)

Oh wait, he just does that anyway. He said "imma spare you if I jam to the beat". Nah, that was all one big lie.

Screw you too.

And then there's the memey screenshot that's been flodding Twitter recently:

And then Pico loses again and GF sends him to the Shadow Realm. GGs, my boi, GGs.

That's about the only big peeve I have with the mod right now, the rest of it is fine... mostly. I mean, the dialogue is mostly some really sus stuff, a ton of innuendos, and then the Mommy Mearest week. That entire week was, uh... a little TOO much for me.

(rip the monetization of the let's play youtubers who uploaded videos when Week 4 HD came out lol).

And I like the new remixes of the songs for the most part. And as far as 2021 mods go, it didn't age THAT badly. I've been an FNF fan (ugh cringe) since Week 5 came out, I've seen WAY worse mods than HD.

But yeah... fuck Pico HD, don't like that guy. They did my fav character dirty... and that is the post. Follow for more ramblings/opinions of random stuff I find online, and hope y'all were as freaked out by this portrait as I was when I first saw it, peace-

I know seeing the 1K likes and low reblogs on your art was disheartening, but I do want you to know that despite how many people disable it, The Algorithm Works on Tumblr. I still get notes on 2 different posts that are not mine that I only made reblog additions too, far too many for people to be clicking on my username just to reblog from me to avoid annoying comments. Also because a lot of those notes are likes, FROM people who use the algorithm and are used to how other sides work. People clicking like IS actually sharing the post around!

Yeah, i get that. I just think that it'd be nice I've we were able to sway the staff away from algorithmic content like this... tumblr was a really great website in its hayday and I think it's pretty natural to dislike the direction the site has gone in. Interaction was way more common before, rather than mindlessly liking and scrolling like so many other social media sites. The current style of "content algorithm" actively hurts so many artists.

I don't mean that as an insult to any users, more so expressing disappointment in the staff for their choices. But it's almost a meme at this point how incompetent they are lol

The people who constantly ask from creators one singular thing bother me, it’s been happening a lot from Eggsmr with hazbin hotel fans begging him to make more Lucifer x listener ASMR Even though he’s ALREADY MADE 4 PARTS and said he wasn’t gonna do anymore, please be glad you got 4!!!

So much demand has caused him to state that he doesn’t feel like making anymore of character impressions/ASMRs and that sucks for the people who enjoy those but also Egg himself-

I’ve seen this type of stuff before, especially within fandoms such as NWTB, back when Nate was grinding pulling out so many FNAF songs just to please people and fans that he got sick of it, he only uses the FNAF brand to post music because he knows fandom music is the only thing that’ll reach to the audience and algorithm

Like, fuck YouTube for shadowbanning his ass to only make fandom music but I’d love to hear more original stuff not only from Eggsmr and Nate but other creators too!

As much as I love making fandom content and obsessing over my goobers, please respect others wishes on wanting to make their own original stuff, their things are just as good as the fandom things!!!!

Eleven being a lesbian is a hill I will fucking die on. When she got to experience the real world she had no fucking clue what romantic love is so she obviously clings to the first example she is given of it. To add to that she clearly had no romantic feelings towards Mike prior to him kissing her and not to mention how confused she was when he kissed her. But, at the end of the day she will sacrifice more for Max then she ever will for Mike. The amount of love she has for Max fucking radiates off the screen.

Unpopular opinion but i prefer The Quarry over Until Dawn

I had a really really hard time liking most of the characters in UD after they took advantage of Hannah’s naivety like that for literally no reason. (Especially since i fully believe she was autistic, and so am I. So it’s personal.) Which kinda completely took me out of the whole game.

But from the get-go I could see why Jacob would sabotage the car. He had no idea things could go so wrong.

I do agree that the gameplay mechanics in UD are better tho.
