I used to stand alone as a kid against “cringe culture” and I’m glad now how many people I see that are actually supportive of different kinds of people out there.

"cringe culture is dead" includes kink/fetish too. you cant claim to be against cringe culture and/or sex positive and also make fun of people for having "weird" kinks/fetishes. see vore/watersports/inflation/feet/whatever and youre not into it? then its not for you. keep scrolling. it literally costs zero dollars to not interact with kinks and fetishes youre not into.

and obviously i feel like this should go without saying but this does not include inherently nonconsensual paraphilias like pedo/zoophilia etc. but i know someone would misinterpret it this way

"Abolish cringe culture!" until it's band/art/choir/drama kids, moms on TikTok, people on dating apps, adults without jobs, adults that still live with their parents, kids using internet slang, beginner artists (in music and drawing), awkward texters, people with bad hygiene, fans of popular media, the list goes on.

Cringe culture isn't just about fandom culture, or people that use terms like XD and rawr. It's about making fun of a group of people that isn't actively doing harm solely because you deem them "embarrassing". Don't say you dislike cringe culture if you stop at what YOU deem as cringe. Normalize doing whatever you want on the internet, as long as it's not hurting anybody there's no reason for you to be made fun of for it.

I just won my first fight with cringe culture! I posted a picture I drew of TNT Duo in some Discord chats, forgetting some people (specifically one person) was in that I felt like would judge me, and I had a second of freak out before I had the sudden revelation: "wait, why do I care what a kid thinks?" (They're 15-16, I'm 17-18) and instantly relaxed

I'm so proud of myself, this is one of the first times I've been able to stop myself from freaking out! First that bitch I should really stop talking to, next, everything!
