had a fucking hilarious dream that tumblr replaced the "block" function with the far funnier "glock" function, which did the exact same thing except whenever anyone blocked you a random bullet hole, like a png of a bullet hole, would appear on your blog. discourse blogs were unreadable bc you'd go to the page and the sheer amount of bullet hole pngs stacked over the blogs obscured everything. I woke myself up laughing

I would really like to remind everyone that it’s canon (we didn’t make this up. We didn’t have to make this up Flanagan made it canon for us) that everyone just. Accepts that Will is Halt’s son. Gilan says that even though he and Halt will always be close, Halt and Will’s relationship is much closer and is father & son like. Pauline treats Will as her son. Horace sees Will as his brother and Halt as his uncle. Everyone sees Will and Halt and are like “this man. This man has adopted a child” which is so funny to me because imagine you’re in araluen and you see Greybeard halt who never smiles with his happy son who doesn’t shut up (AND they’re the same height). Flanagan does a lot wrong in the series but making Halt see Will as his son and the found family aspects are NOT one

And Little Apple hasn't been around a lot of horses #so she thinks her talking donkey roommate who suddenly switched personalities is an exception not the norm #little apple is constantly violating politeness norms by only addressing the pony’s accompanying human and not them #LWJ has achieved that alicorn immortality in this AU so yeah #this human girl was absolutely named after the horse. i love love love how, throughout, this entire episode we could see the build up for the kiss.

from akk protesting to give aye a 'sponge bath' to eventually holding his hand

then the way akk kept touching aye, unprompted, lingering for longer and longer

then actually giving into the teasing and being just as playful

to the moment he realized aye wanted to kiss him and accepting that he wanted to kiss him back

and opening up to aye's feelings, smiling when aye admitted his jealousy

this entire episode was perfect in the pacing and the kiss was a culmination of all these moments, with akk embracing his own feelings and giving into the urge he's been experiencing all along.
