The ceo of this hellsite having the AUDACITY to complain about harassment and online pile-ons like that’s not the core issue here, and the daily experience of thousands of trans women on this hellsite. And then to post about his “beliefs and principles” to “prove” he’s not transphobic, rather than taking accountability or meaningful action to address the harm he has directly caused. And in that beliefs and principles bullshit he never uses the words TRANS or TRANSGENDER. He only uses LGBTQ+ or gender identity. Like sir, you say you’re not transphobic, but your language, actions, and leadership of this hellsite sure say otherwise. This is not just a “LGBTQ issue,” it’s an issue of transphobia and transmisogyny. At least use the right language you piece of wet cheese. The whole thing is shameless and disgusting.

If you feel bad seeing this current car hammer explosion of transmisogyny and how it's affecting the trans women you follow on this site, please please PLEASE let them know that you appreciate them.

In an ecosystem where we are liable to have our entire presence wiped at any given moment if we upset the wrong people, we need you caring about us and loving us while you can. Because then we at least know we mattered to someone before we were left to the wolves and thrown in the trash.

I'm serious. Message us and tell us you care, reach out and offer to help, send a few bucks for us to buy something nice to take our minds off things. Anything to let us know we matter to you.

okay, i’m PISSED.

To start, I was having a bad day, and I do as I always do when I have a bad day: I go on Tumblr. I am @toohottohoot, and I was going about my Tumblr business as usual when Tumblr kicked me out. Tumblr has never done that before. Being the genius I am, I never saved my password — because I’ve never, ever had to log out of my account! — and now I can’t get back in. I don’t know if I will ever be able to again. I have so many posts that I’ve liked and people I follow and things I have saved, and now it’s all gone. Even once I made this account, Tumblr forced me to follow at least 5 tags and 3 people. I couldn’t even choose who I wanted to follow. I didn’t have to do this for the original @toohottohoot blog, and it was a pointless pain when all I wanted was to log back in and continue enjoying my experience as a tumblrina.

Please, please let me know if this has happened to anyone else, or how to get back into my original (@toohottohoot) blog. I am on my hands and knees, begging you.

TLDR; Expect updates from this blog now, because Tumblr is being an asshole.

SO ... TUMBLR AI ...

YALL IDK WHAT TO DO HERE.

Making this side blog let me write on some fandoms I love, especially JJK – a Fandom I wrote the most about consistently for over 6 months now.

Now Tumblr siding with AI training it to stealing stuff by doing it with our stuff.

The last toggle option won't stop AI from already stealing but who knows what will help in this situation. And it don't show up for mobile app version, only desktop. And the app has no update yet for me to see if that's why the option won't show up. Ugh.

Using Nightshade and Glaze to protect your art and images may not do much for all I know an Idk if my systems can handle using them cause they're big ass programs but do whatever is best for you.

Someone I follow is considering going to bluesky, cohost, Pillowfort for blog stuff but they're all still in open beta cause they're new.

Newgrounds, webtoons and tapas for comic art stuff.

As for me, I still got wattpad, quotev and deviantart.

My JJK content is all on my wattpad.

That is under my main used username, CosmicQueen10.

Imma gonna have to post my Hawks stuff and Geto's bday piece as separate books on there too cause idk about writing here anymore now that this happened.

Again WHAT TO DO?!

All my drafts I may delete cause idk posting them just feeds into the AI mayhem.

My fan art ain't the best so idk what AI would want that.

And getting commissions through doing fanart and fanfics was also rare and rarely happens for me these days.

And just when I learned about making masterlists.

The difference between ao3 users on tiktok (whom are usually new to the fanfiction community) and the ao3 users on tumblr (mainly the veteran users) is that tiktok readers are receiving their news about ao3 from Twitter, posting about it on tiktok and panicking without any idea on how to possibly deal with their new sudden loss. Tumblr readers, on the other hand have been through these situations (basically wars at this point), and report the information they find straight to tumblr to share the news, and while they mourn they also make light of the situation, finding new mutuals and looking for the cause of the maintenance or ways they can help.
