Idia, Riddle: An Adventure Awaits!
Sorry I’m late, Idia 💦 The holiday obligations are beating my ass right now… *coughs* also your birthday banner may or may not be overshadowed by episode 7 part 1 drop
This birthday piece has a slightly somber tone (well, it is Idia we’re talking about here), but it has a happy ending 😅 I drew some inspiration from the various meanings and interpretations of the flowers in his birthday bouquet, but I didn't want to make this too sad since it's meant to be celebratory!
A nice detail in Idia’s Groovy is all the snow! Between this and the leaves in some of the autumn boys’ Groovies, seems like the Groovy illustrations do pay attention to the season.

A Boy in Bloom, and his Flowering Future.
“What’s one thing you hope to do this upcoming year?”
Idia hesitated. He stared at his interviewer with wide, buggy eyes, the sickly pallor of his skin somehow even more pasty than usual. As helpless as a loading bar stuck on 99%.
“… You must properly answer this, Idia-senpai,” Riddle prompted, frowning. “I will not tolerate a wishy washy reply! Stand up straight, maintain eye contact, speak with a proper indoor voice, and let me hear it!!”
“………………………. Go out. I-I’d like to go out.”
“Excuse me?! Did I hear you correctly just now? You want to… go out? Not stay cooped up in your room avoiding sunshine like it's the plague for the next year?”
“When you give a reaction like that, it makes me reconsider…”
“What was that?!”
Idia startled, throwing both arms up to shield himself from his interviewer’s rage. “E-Eeep…!! N-Nothing, it’s nothing at all, Riddle-shi!!”
“… Very well.” The redhead’s face relaxed. “Why don’t you elaborate on the answer you’ve provided then? What is it that you most look forward to doing when you go out?”
“Hihihi…" Idia's mouth stretched into an eerie grin. "Isn’t it obvious? Of course, the only reason to part with the sweet sanctuary that is my room is… irl events with no 100% online or streaming alternatives!!”
“… In other words, if you have literally no other option…” Riddle sighed, a hand to his forehead. (Had he really been expecting anything less of the introvert supreme?)
“That’s right.” The birthday boy’s timid tone turned decidedly confident. His blue-lipped smile was smug and as sharp as his teeth.
“Recently… I’ve been playing this augmented reality game, *Dokémon Go. But you can’t catch many monsters if you stay in one place, because they spawn as you visit new locations. That kind of suboptimal play won’t make me strong enough to dominate all the raids and gym battles on Sage’s Island!!
“The burger place in town is having a limited time promotion, so I plan to start there to replenish my health bar for the long trip ahead, then head to the park—a prime location for…”
“Again with the obsessive gaming talk,” Riddle shook his head, remaining patient. “I didn’t expect you to be quite so adventurous, even if it is a hobby of yours serving as your motivation.”
“W-Well… I-It’s not that, really.” Idia shyly glanced away, clamping a hand down on the crook of his arm. “It’s… Ortho.”
“Your little brother?”
“Yeah. I had zero interest in playing that sort of game, but he was the one that suggested it to me. He wanted to play it together, even looked up places to go… so I couldn’t really say no.”
Riddle chuckled softly. “It seems that you have a particular weakness for requests made of you by Ortho.”
“H-Hey, I didn’t come here to be bullied by my junior, so cut it out!!” As frantic as Idia’s pleas were, the tips of his flaming hair were turning a bashful hue of pink.
“You needn’t be shy about it. I can’t say that I understand the experience of having a sibling—as I am an only child myself. However, I can say with certainty that your bond with Ortho is a special one. He is your hope in the darkness that is the Underworld, no?”
“E-Eeeep!! Wh-What’s with you suddenly giving super inspirational speeches like a high and mighty shounen protagonist standing triumphantly over his defeated rival?!”
“I am only speaking my mind.” Riddle straightened, gesturing toward himself. "It was not long ago that I was in a dark place. Since my boyhood, I was expected to excel--but though I was always surrounded by stacks of study materials, it could never truly replace the good company that I was lacking in my life.
"The more I buried myself in my books and my rules, the more estranged I became from those around me... almost as though I had fallen down a rabbit hole and into a topsy turvy world, leaving the others behind in the old world. It is for that reason that I am happy to see that you have found that 'light' for yourself in Ortho."
"A-All those lofty expectations put on you from such an early age..." Idia's voice was lost with his train of thought. "It sounds..."
Just like me.
The memories were so clear. Harsh and bleak, like glaring lights set upon a test subject raised only in darkness, like shards of glass piercing his flesh.
Cold, sterile laboratories. Endless textbooks and tests. Isolation.
Faceless guardians, too distant to be called parents, an unfeeling absence. Men and women in lab coats and nitrile gloves. Rows and rows of cells, inhuman screams and screeches radiating from within.
A bedroom littered with games and shows that told of a wonderful world beyond his bunker. The two young boys playing in it. Talk of stars and superheroes.
The promise left unfulfilled.
"Let's go on an adventure together, Nii-chan!"
"Okay. Leave it to me."
And then...
Idia squeezed his eyes shut, fighting off the thought--and the tears that came with it.
He willed sarcasm to return to him as he spewed out his next words. "... It sounds like you had a traumatic childhood. Haaaah... it suits your character archetype to a T. Must've been pretty rough."
"Hmph." Riddle crossed his arms and frowned. "In any case, the past is in the past. We must focus on the present if we are to have any hope of shaping our futures. You agree, don't you, Idia-senpai?"
"H-Huh? What, me?!" The birthday boy startled. "S-Sure, I agree..."
"That was surprisingly fast."
Idia felt as if all of the elements were clashing with each other within him. Roaring wind, searing fire, numbing ice, and rumbling earth. His legs shook, and he clutched harder onto his broom to keep himself upright, to not collapse in an embarrassing heap before Riddle.
A promise.
A promise of adventure.
He took a deep breath. "A long time ago, I told Ortho that we'd go out and see the world together. That's why... I have to try, even if it kills me...!! I have to keep on living, just like Ortho wanted me to."
"Fufu, well said." For what seemed to be the first time that day, Riddle's mouth bloomed into a rosebud of a smile. "Now then... You shouldn't keep Ortho and the others waiting. They're waiting for you, adventurer."
"Hihihi... Who knew that you could actually be light-hearted?"
Idia laid oddly upon his broom, pressing a pale cheek against the wood of the handle. "O-Okay...! I can do this. Be like the wind, summon all your strength...!!"
Be ready to face tomorrow.
Riddle would have lodged a complaint about his flying form, had the broom not already begun to levitate off of the ground. He zipped his lip and stepped back, granting space.
"... Ne, Riddle-shi."
"Yes? What is it?"
"It's--" Idia hesitated, keeping his eyes trained not on his underclassman, but on the frosted road ahead of him. "It's... not actually a bad idea to enjoy this while I still can. The time I have with Ortho at this school is limited. I can't waste it."
"Idia-senpai..."
Snowflakes kicked up, nestling in Riddle's tresses. Rose red turned into snow white--and when he looked again, Idia was already hurtling towards a sea of dead trees, their twisted limbs extending toward the blue-grey sky.
A cheeky grin spread across his face.
Today, the clutches of Death did not reach for him.
No--he had escaped it.

#ash rambles 💚#i love him soooo much! i know i get stubborn about it sometimes but he really does have my heart#him and ash get together post-game so i love writing him and his development and him learning to be a better person#theyre not together during the game. theyre enemies during the game. theyre also both kinda immature late teenagers/young adults#(i just wanna make it clear that there's nothing weird there going on!! he and ash have had mutual attraction to each other since they were#kids but they dont get together until theyre adults and he is an adult in canon!!!)#but back to what i was saying#his development with ash is sooo goooddd! they spend a little while doing mercenary work together! ash has quite long hair and man ajsjajsh#the way he learns how to take care of her hair always makes me soo warm and fuzzy inside! he may be a bit of a meanie but he is a#surprisingly affectionate bf! f.f8 s/i probably also straightens her curly hair like i do and he just likes helping and stroking her hair#there's a lot of playful bickering though! lots of matches of triple triad too! whoever loses does the dishes LMAAOO#man.. he's so handsome and strong... i love how he's always so dedicated to being a knight and a protector... i know he uses that as an#excuse to like. do horrific things in the game but!!! in the mobile game you can see him develop and i really do like his redemption arc#from mean ass bully to kinda mean ally that'll protect you no matter what. his character is so good especially when you consider that he's#literally been forced into training since he was five. lots of things to analyze and think about there#but back to the knight thing!! he always says he's ash's knight! makes my heart flutter hehe! though he is very well-aware that ash could#kick his ass... and he loves it! he's not big on using her beloved guns (shes very picky about who touches her sweethearts too) but he does#like watching her epic gunslinger gf in action hehehe! okay yeah i think thats enough rambling for now#i got sick 😔 i'm okay and it'll pass but expect a lot of half-asleep f/o rambles LMAAOOO#okay yeah. tldr: i <3 s.eifer a.lmasy#your knight until the end 🤍

Thinking about figure skater Gojo who tirelessly trains to qualify and compete at the next Olympic Games.
Gojo is such a legend in the skating world, very well known for his jaw-dropping, difficult performances, handsome looks, and charming personality! He was built for the spotlight.
Naturally, he has many global fans, fan accounts, and ordinary people who follow his career.
People who meet Gojo in-person after having only seen him on tv are shocked at how tall he is, yet manages to skate so well. All those triple and quad axels? And the amount of grace and power he skates with is insane considering his build.
Once, an interviewer asks Gojo what other skaters he admires? Gojo talks about a few current big names, then sneaks in a mention of, “Oh, Suguru is also in my list , hehe.”
The interviewer chuckles alongside him, yet can’t help but ask, “Suguru…who?”
Later, Geto Suguru nearly spits out his water while watching the interview posted on Youtube. He doesn’t hesitate to text his boyfriend.
Geto: “Why do you keep bringing me up? I literally just skated in high school 😭”
Gojo sends back an old video of Geto’s skating routine from a regional competition: ❤️❤️
Geto: “WHY DO YOU STILL HAVE THIS?”
Gojo: “heyyy >:(“
Gojo: “It makes me happy 🥰 I loved watching you”

Growing up, Gojo and Geto skated at the same club. But while Gojo continued skating as his professional career after, Geto dropped skating in order to focus on his academics in college.
Gojo often reminisces on the long practices they had where they would watch each other run through their routines and give each other feedback, when they would mess around and throw the craziest combinations just for shits and giggles.
He didn’t realize their time together on the rink would be so short in the long run, but they began dating when they were only sixteen, and have been going strong together since.
Gojo is still lucky to have Suguru to come home to after his long days at the rink.
After college, Geto went on to become a marine biologist, where he does a lot of work in ocean wildlife conservation. He’s either on a boat collecting data for research or in the lab analyzing his sample results.
Gojo is not only busy training in Japan, but he also frequently travels to train in different countries. Gojo receives lots of updates from Suguru in the form of selfies and blurry photos with ocean wildlife or results from the lab.

Gojo makes the last one his lock screen. Suguru just looks so cute with his hair pulled back, and when Gojo holds his finger down on the live photo, he can hear Suguru’s voice talking in baby to the crab.

Geto gets super excited telling Gojo about his new findings, taking the time to explain different facts and technical terms. Gojo eagerly nods along on the phone and asks questions, commenting, “No way! The algae increased nearly double the amount with your XXX solution? That’s amazing!”

Gojo loves what he does, but it’s always a relief to come back home and find his comfort place in Suguru’s arms.
Nothing beats taking a shower and raiding Suguru’s closet after, cooking dinner with his boyfriend, and then cuddles on the couch.
The first thing they see when they turn on the tv is a sports reporter announcing Gojo Satoru's third national championship title, and what it means for the road to the Olympics.
“Oh wow, this guy is on a roll. He should train for the Olympics or something,” Geto says.
Gojo simply buries face in Suguru’s neck and snickers: “Or something.”

Once, while getting ready to sleep one night, Gojo whispers in Geto’s: “Remember that one time you ripped your pants during the Junior Grand Prix?”
Geto doesn’t react at first.
Then, without warning, he tries to smother his boyfriend with his pillow.

One of the best memories is when Geto surprised Gojo by showing up in-person to one of the abroad competitions.
In the middle of his post-win interview, still in his competition suit, makeup dewey and hair fluffy, Gojo suddenly spots a familiar face behind one of the paparazzi.
Gojo is literally mid-answer when he locks in and SPRINTS to get his boyfriend in his arms.
“Suguru!!” Gojo shouts. He’s already leaping and oh, Suguru’s arms readily catch him.
Geto laughs with his whole chest, squeezing tightly around Gojo’s middle.
“Hello, darling.”
Gojo has to finish the interview but he’s so bubbly now because teehee Suguru is right there and watching proudly.
Gojo needs him in his bed immediately.
After the interview, Geto explains he got his lab assistants to cover their project for the next week so he could fly out and visit Gojo in Australia!
Gojo happily drags Geto back to his hotel room, giggling and babbling about the plans they could have for the next week. The couple excitedly discuss outings to art and performance events, to the beach, even the zoo - which Geto is ecstatic for.
Upon entering the hotel room, Geto quickly drops his luggage off in the corner. Gojo is still yapping when Geto suddenly walks him backwards to the bed.
The back of Gojo’s knees hit the edge and he falls back with an “oof!”
Geto smoothly crawls on top to lay his whole body weight on his boyfriend’s.
Gojo chuckles. He combs through Suguru’s hair and continues his talking, knowing Suguru is tired from traveling and this will help them both relax.
Gojo gradually runs out of things to say, and the soft breaths against his neck tell him yep, he unfortunately needs to poke his boyfriend awake so they can both shower and freshen up before bed.
Gojo pats Geto’s lower back. “Suguru, wakey wakey.”
No response.
Pat pat on the lower back again, then smoothing his hands up to pat the upper-back.
“Babyyy, wake up. We need to shower. And eat.”
Geto offers a protesting grunt, then nuzzles against Gojo’s neck.
This leaves Gojo no choice.
He sneaks a hand down to pinch Geto’s ass.
“Ouch- hey what the fuck?”
Gojo yelps when he feels Suguru pinch his nipple in retaliation, then rolls off Gojo’s body to head toward the bathroom.
Five minutes later, the couple shower together while casually recapping the results of the skating event.
“Any feedback for me today?” Gojo asks. Geto hums, more focused on massaging the shampoo into Gojo’s hair. He applies the perfect amount of pressure that makes Gojo moan in appreciation.
“The only feedback I have is that you look amazing out there, Satoru. All the hard work you put into training clearly pays off. I am so so proud of you,” Geto says, dropping a kiss to Gojo’s nape.
Gojo preens, and completely surrenders himself to his boyfriend's tender touches.

notes. i was doing a word search and had an idea hehe enjoy

you came up behind haechan who was slouching, sitting at your small table in your kitchen. your word search book in front of him as his chin rests on his palm. placing your hands on his shoulders you straighten his posture. “stop slouching,” you softly tell him, leaning down to rest your chin on his shoulder.
“yes ma’am,” he responds.
“i forgot i left my word search book here.” you say, as haechan crosses out a word diagonally with your pastel blue highlighter.
he hums, “i got bored after breakfast and opened it.” leaning into your touch as you massage his shoulders and neck.
you stay doing that for a few minutes, kneading your thumbs against his tense muscles. you spot a glass of iced coffee, obviously it being his.
“baby help me, i can’t find this word.” he lets out a sigh in frustration. you pick up his glass to take a sip, moaning at the taste of the caffeine.
you peek your head over his shoulder. the word search he’s working on being about sports and games. “triple jump?” you read out loud, eyes carefully scanning the huge jumble of letters.
“can’t find it right?” haechan exclaims, extending his hand out to gesture towards the cursed book.
no you really couldn’t. you furrow your eyebrows, taking a chair from under the table to sit next to haechan.
“hold on sometimes i hold the book away from me, sometimes it works to see the words.” you say, seriously picking up the book and holding it out in front of you both.
haechan twists his neck to look at you. your lips involuntarily pouting and your eyes slightly squinting. oh, you are just the cutest thing.
“why are you staring at me? stare at the word search.” you shyly tell him, your cheeks hearing up because you caught him staring at you.
he glances at you, kissing your cheek before he snatches the book out your hands. he picks up the marker and draws a line through the word you ‘couldn’t’ find. but he knew where it was all along.
scoffing, “are you serious?” your mouth slightly open.
“you’re cute when you’re concentrating.”

Reclamation Algorithm 2 blog(???)
damn i wish i took down notes on what i did every day but i didn't so point form it is (currently on day 16)
the game calculates your score every 3 days and you get the node upgrade points to upgrade your tree and the shop currency to buy kestrel then so you can get her around day 10?
tutorial is much better this time and the little cutscenes inside the map are so cute (btw kestrel here gets attacked by a bunch of enemies after but her hp doesn't go below 1 lmao)
there's a quest tracker now lol
you have to upgrade your base ASAP from 1 to 2 to unlock the harvester so its 60+ wood you have to manually chop (+ because you also need 5 water)
crabby pumpies now have an expiry timer, you can upgrade them to last longer
everything generally is more expensive to make (like im only making my first wall on day 15, prob skill issue though) i've only fought a raid at base like... once and i was trying to finish them off before but i fumbled hehe. anyw my base is literally just 4 rice planters (you start with 1 and my current cap is 4) and like.. nothing else other than a platform atm its so dire
you can use crude gold to repair your base, it's easier to get them now but repairs aren't super cheap anyways
they really want you to use ALL your ops/raise more, the new stamina system basically requires you to have 2 'bottles' that are 60 units each for every battle you enter, and you can bring 6 units, or 12 units if you have 3 bottles, and you can only use a unit once every day
also they killed off some recipes (but apparently they added a LOT more so you'll get mystery (failed) dishes that give you 60 when you recycle it for juice (eg. triple rice isn't a recipe anymore)
there are now 3 outposts? around your base that enemy raids will pass through before reaching your base which is nice but also one of their layout looks like
i need walls man
my game crashed on day 9 upon entering a map and it basically forced me to day 10, but i could rollback to day 7 which was nice

A/N: Hey everyone. I know I have requests backed up to the nines but was my birthday and I need some comfort teehee (I am also SO mad that twst doesn’t have a thing for the MCs birthday >:( ). Some are longer than others because the inspiration train hit, but I really don't care. I love me my boys, what can I say? I hope you guys can read this for your birthdays and be happy :)
Vil Shoenheit
The weekend following your birthday is very eventful. Vil's a man of passion and glamour. I hope you are ready to be tossed from place to place, because you will be living quite lavishly for a few days.
Your wardrobe situation has been bothering him since you both became close. What better time to fix it than this special occasion? Vil treats you to a shopping spree, acting as your personal consultant and forcing you to model his hand-picked outfits
Some of which coincidently match his own. He may or may not discover how you matching his tie + cuff-links makes him ‘excited’
Whether he likes the outfit or not, you receive many compliments.Some come out as snarky quips with a sultry smirk, but that is expected from Vil
Did someone say spa treatment? Darling, you have stress wrinkles from being Crowley's lackey. Give him a few hours and you'll feel like liquid gold. The days go by quickly, and you sleep better than ever before. Who wouldn’t in a high-class hotel with sheets more expensive than anything you have ever owned? Vil notices the improvement by the end and his ego somehow heightens further in pride.
On that note...are you camera shy? Because for the grand finale Vil arranges for you to have a birthday photoshoot with his personal photographer.
The first half is only for you. He stands on the sidelines, hyping you up and critiquing the stylist's choice in clothes and makeup. Only the best is allowed, he swears it on the Shoenheit name!
Second half? He's in there posing at your side. The scene is set as a garden birthday and pictures are taken as you both cut through a triple-tier cake . This is when Vil presents you with your gift: a personalized eyeshadow pallet. He crafted each shade himself, and they're named after things that he loves about you.
The photographer perfectly captures your surprise as well as Vil's rare moment of genuine affection. The photoshoot was meant to be private but somehow that picture ends up trending on Magicam.
“I had hoped to selfishly hoard your beauty, yet it seems the media could not resist in taking it's share. Hehe…at least everyone can see that you are mine this way. Forever my little potato,”
Rook Hunt
Rook can be very mischievous when he wants to be. They say not to play with your food, but he’s always lived for the thrill of the hunt rather than the catch itself
Your birthday is made into a game: a hunt. He wants to shower you with presents yet simply handing them over would be too borish. So, what’s he do? Hides them across campus, that’s what. The first can be found in plain sight outside your bedroom door. Attached to the wrapping is a clue as to where you can find the next!
And so begins your scavenger hunt. To the cafeteria, the alchemy lab, the courtyard, training tower, etc. you’re sent around with Rook acting as your shadow the entire time. He ensures your safety while also admiring your reaction to his presents the entire time.
The last note sends you to Pomefiore, and when you reach the gates Rook appears out of thin air at your side. He’ll lead you in, and inside is your final gift.
It’s your very own bow! Since you cannot use magic, he will be taking it upon himself to teach you self defense and archery. There have been so many close calls that Rook does not feel safe letting you remain defenseless anymore.
“Mon amor, it is perfect! Not only will we spend much time together but now I can cease losing hair from worrying over you. It will be difficult at first but rest assured that I will be your guide on this perilous journey,”
Epel Felmier
Long before you became lovers, Epel was a simp. A big heckin’ simp that buried his feelings because falling in love was not very, “manly,” in his eyes. With an appearance so delicate, what would make you want him? Sure, he was not ugly or intolerable…but he had so much to “fix,” before allowing himself anything like romance.
This did nothing for how he craved you. Your attention, presence, great seven even your scent. The moment you would walk in a room his back would go straight and his well-crafted act of decorum would slip. Vil would then chide him for staring and for his vulgar language after being caught.
It was humiliating how quickly you were able to scramble his well-crafted mask. Just the thought of you deflated all his defenses. He was screwed.
In an effort at defiance, Epel swore himself off of whatever spell you cast on him. If you entered the room then he would leave. If you talked to him then he would only reply curtly. If anyone mentioned you then he would dismiss them.
During this phase he was still hopelessly in love. It was a moment of weakness when he found himself carving your face into one of his apples. Staring into it with displeasure, he wanted something more concrete to work with than fruit. So he grabbed some wooden logs from the fire place and got to work
Fast forward time, and many months later there is still a wooden carving of your likeness stashed underneath his bed. He could not bring himself to toss it, especially so now that you are lovers. So it sits there: until today. Your birthday.
Epel isn’t the type to plan an event. He got you a small gift, a sweet, and asked for you to hang out in his room for a time. His upperclassmen decided to join and were being nosy. Long after all celebration had ended, Rook was snooping and noticed something wooden peaking out from underneath the bed. Before Epel could stop him the figurine was pulled out.
You wanted it. Of course you did. Why would he expect anything less? It’s not like he can say no when you’re blushing and staring at his hand-crafted work in awe. He just keeps quiet until his upperclassmen leave, observing as you admire it. Silently letting his embarrassment get the better of him until he bursts.
“Y’know, that don’ mean nothin’!! What’eva weird thought you got goin’ on in that head o’ yours— quit it! You can keep it but don’ go paradin’ it around either. I—I’m warnin’ ya!…you’re lucky I like ya,”

I call this a triple release! Time lines are different, of course, but during the day, I'm uploading three fics!
I wanna write for kageyama again! Squeee! I haven't done it in a while, so maybe the usual... kageyama hinata combo strikes back!

The first year combo!
Hinata was getting better at taking Kageyama's sets, in fact those two are an u stoppage duos.
Prodigy Kageyama and passionate Hinata. These were polar opposites, and no one can believe how connected they are during games...
"Kageyama you are being mean!"
"Enough jabbering, Boke (idiot)!"
That's until their off the field. They are a hopless crew. Daichi thought with a smile. The seniors all understood this usual scenario with the first year combo.
Hinata's orange hair is gripped in a vice grip by Kageyama, with a scary grumbled under his throat as he threatened the little guy. This is usual, and as always, Tsukishima had a snarky comment. "What are we grade schoolers?"
In fact, Hinata face was twisted into a hilarious contorted face of reluctance. He knew by strength he couldn't possibly be Kageyama's equal. Nobody seemed bothered to stop a fight they couldn't interfere with. Not even Daichi.
"Boke! You better understand that there's a difference between you and me -ah!"
He released the orange head eventually and stepped away with one hesitant step. Hinata hadn't expected it to work. He reflexively poked him in the ribs in order to make him shrink away from pain but it was a light squeak that was uncharacteristical of the King.
"Wait... wait... wait. " Hinata leaned forward on his knees, trying to get a better idea of what happened."Did you just squeak?"
"Did not" a childish side glance from a child who is lying to a parent visualised in Tsukishima's eyes. He was not merely called the smartest in the group so he could pass tests. He, in fact, deduced enough of the situation to focus on it rather than spiking for Nishinoya.
"Liar, I totally saw you go - like this!" He reached over to demonstrate, but it was unsuccessful as Kageyama grabbed his wrist with sudden panicked motion. He pushed the hand away before going back to the net, almost convincing. "If you have time to goof off, then I suggest you make ample time to practice with my sets instead"
Hinata being the naive idiot fell for this distraction and groaned "Weren't you the one who started this?"
Tsukishima sighed. He knew this won't be a good ending for a good climax, he called out tauntingly. "Nice way of avoiding a fierce tickle attack from your regal subjects, your majesty"
Everyone stared at Kageyama, now widened in eyes with pure intent of curiosity. But he let his guard down too swiftly when he felt someone tackle him from the side.
Shocked, the speed and reflexes couldn't have possibly been anyone but Hinata himself. The kid attacked him with his nimble fingers on his ribs first "Ahh ha! I knew you were hiding something, I'm not thar stupid to fall for your tricks"
Yameguchi gave a fond smile to him and said, "Yeah right, a minute ago he almost did if it weren't for Tsukki"
"Gaha! Oi, yohohou huhuhuman tahahangerine!!! Ahahahand you'll pay! FOUR EYES!"
"Wow, such recognitions, I'm honoured," he said stoically, not even the least bothered by the warning.
Meanwhile the least of Tobio Kageyama's worries is revenge, he needs to get out of this situation where a monkey is determined to straddle him and tickle him to pieces.
He couldn't help it, but being ticklish is something even Oikawa took advantage of. It was a well hidden secret. Well, until Tsukishima decided to expose him while his little friend almost triggered it. Scratch that ...he did trigger it thanks to four eyes.
"Alrihihihight! Cuhuhuhut ihihit ohohohout Hihihinataa!" Kageyama tried to squirm his way off, but surprisingly, he didn't expect the persistence being a strength that evolved to physical strength.
"Na ah! I didn't even know such a weakness existed on you of all people!"
Blushing harder, he tried to kick his way out and decided to turn the tables though he wasn't experienced in tickle counters.
Hinata was ticklish too and thankfully he burst into quick laughter, "ahahaha Kageheheheyamaaa! Nohoho fahahahair!"
"So fair punk! You started it"
"Ohohoho wehehell thehehen tahahahahake thihihis!!" He started to move his way to reach for his sides again and that allowed a brief time for Kageyama to get his armpits instead.
Stream of giggles left his mouth now painfully ticklish. He was in tears, not expecting the tables to flip.
Tanaka called out "Come on Hinata get the sucker while you can, he's more ticklish than you!"
"Kageyama, kick his ass!" Nishinoya seconded that.
These cheers were Hinata's motivation. He decided that Kageyama's awkward tickling wasn't that bad, but he broke through only to sneak a squeeze to his knee. Hoping it was sensitive, he did this, and much to his happiness, it was more effective.
"OHOHOHOI! Nohohoho Hihihinata!" He was thrown off balance by his own jerking ways. He didn't expect such a counter and giggled back uneasily now, distancing themselves instead of fighting.
"Kageeeyaaamaa~ Come here, and I'll treat you nice and easy" Hinata threw himself back only to grab his knees with firm vigour. It was strange how such an unusual spot could be this vulnerable. Kageyama definitely had similar thoughts as he couldn't attack back but rather shriek in surprise.
"HAHAHA, I GIHIHIHIVE YOHOHOU WIHIHIHIN BOHOHOHKEHE!"
"Alright, game over for Kageyama." Asahi reached to grab Hinata's collar, and he dangled like a puppy. He looked thrilled to see a new side of Kageyama and had wicked schemes to exploit it. While Kageyama was given gentle assaults by Sugawara and Tanaka, who were hungry to join the final bit, but Daichi had ordered them to practice now.
Sure enough, Tsukishima remained in the shadows, smiling at his own play that he scripted with one mere call to Kageyama's weakness. He really became a mastermind, only Daichi suspected that.
Still, it was a good day, Kageyama would often be teased back for that defeat, which Hinata rarely witnesses during most challenges. Poking and prodding on their way back after practice, they were determined to hold another tickle fight, this time hoping who'd win foe real with equal strength.
"That's what makes them a team." Suagwara chuckled, locking the gymnasium.
"Yeah," Daichi grinned, now looking at the unfolding evening sky to night as time got much delayed.

as the season wraps i just want to say this season may have been a bit rough with the stan fighting but we kept it fairly chill here and i had so much fun with y’all! i’ve been in the tag for like 10 seasons now (i only lurked the first two haha) but this is the first year i was actually brave enough to like actually talk and interact with multiple people regularly. it was so scary but you were all so nice. thank you for putting up with my obnoxiously long posts because i can’t stop over explaining myself and have too many thoughts that i have to say all in one post or else I’ll end up triple posting (though i did that plenty too hehe) so as we finally made it through the longest season ever i wanna thank everyone who responded to/reblogged any of my posts or comments this season, my favourite part of this show is thinking through strategies and hearing what other people’s opinions are on what’s happening in the game and y’all made it so fun!! 💖 can’t wait to be back with y’all complaining about whatever the holiday been done before super special surprise is. see everyone for the finale 🫡💕

It's that time again - update rambles time kdfnalsdfnsd. The short version is, overall, I'm really pleased with this update, but there's... at least one thing missing that did sort of derail me in the end and I'll still need to go back and play it pubside on my Trooper, which I think I might enjoy slightly more for... cohesion of a story's sake, but that's. a) getting a bit into the actual ramble and b) getting my personal blorbo feelings involved which is absolutely what I do here but, let me do it in the right place, lmao.
Mechanically, this was. a really sweet update to me. There's lots of doing in progressing through the story part. The fights are engaging, the action is selling. It doesn't play like a bunch of run to checkpoint x, do y, hand in z, which is very nice. There's. actually a few things to consider. Comparing to 7.2 in Showdown, the action isn't just in the cutscenes this time - it's definitely there, too, I have plenty of nice action shots to add to the blasters out collection, lol - but it's also in the gameplay, at least from my take, so! I've really no complaints from a gameplay perspective thus far.
I haven't worked on any of the dailies or done the little follow up with Lane or whatnot yet because I sort of had my fill with the story for the day and I wanted to check out some of the lighting changes in other parts of the game, hehe! So, might run into other things later, but we'll see.
I also love seeing locations from earlier in the game making a comeback. The little hints here and there are enough to be exciting for me - though I see some people saying missed opportunity to do things with Jorgan and Corso and I will more than likely agree with that. I'd always be a sucker for more references.
Petra's really cool. I love her. Loved meeting her and working with her. As a local Imperial Agent enjoyer, I think it's only natural to say I do love the sneak and spy elements of this update, lol.
I got a lot of what I could've ever hoped to ask for out of this update. I'm just... missing the saboteur options? Which... really threw me at the end. There's at least a place or two that it felt exactly where those sort of options should've come up, but there's at least no directly labeled sight of them around, which is... jarring given Tyr's extensive history as a double agent for the Republic.
It's... a really tricky situation to deal with on Ord though, so that's. how I'm choosing to sort of interpret that one. There are some areas that felt a little too tight on strictly Imperial loyalty for how I typically play him, so it's. It's jarring, in short. One of my disappointment areas, I have to admit. I haven't done any of the dailies, but it looks like it'll end up being interpreted as Imperial support either way - which, fair, I'm playing an impside character, I know, but the lines were very clear on Ossus for where that saboteur option was involved and they even appeared on Manaan. I'm still hoping to see that storyline go somewhere even though there feels like there's a lot of moving parts on the board at the moment.
SO. With that said, onto my giggles and other miscellaneous references because it seems the last several story updates have thematically been reflective and reference-pockmarked for me, lol.
I cannot tell you the way I squealed with excitement to see these two in frame and actually doing something like cooperating.
And also the way I am, once again, haunted by being an Imperial Agent girlie. Because all I can think of in this is Double agent. Triple agent. Do you even know whose lies you're telling anymore?
Primarily, of course, my own feelings about blorbo who's been in the spy business for literally about half his lifetime and a double agent for maybe half of that - now he's going to balance being a double for the Republic with working with Sa'har? Ough. Tyr, babe. I hope you know what you're doing.
He wants to help her. He's wanted to from the start. Sa'har's I'm not sure I -want- to leave, speaking to that I'm not sure I can leave a job unfinished that Tyr is so, so painfully familiar with experiencing. Maybe he's got fleece over his eyes because of his own complicated feelings about working in unseen ways, but he does believe her.
ALSO THIS GIRL. NEARLY GIVIN ME A HEART ATTACK. GIRL I LIKED YOU DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT. Anyway. I love her. I love. Again, one of the most hilarious dialogue wheels you could give this man is I'm no traitor (lie, you've been once since you were in your late twenties, and you're like, what 46ish? It's been a long time since Hutta, agent) / I don't work with traitors (another lie, you're still kissing Theron Shan [Tyr. argues that doesn't count which is the only reason this is the option I went with] / and [Attack]
And then I won't be normal about him taking option 2 and dropping "I'd like to believe I've always been fighting for something greater."
I'm fine. I'm sure I'm fine. [Girl who is constantly plagued by the emotional agonies of maining a double agent.]
ANYWAY. Or perhaps also on that note. Krovos getting a little sharp about his misplaced priorities. Nothing comes of it. Yet. But it's enough to keep my brain stew going and bubbling about the weight of it all.
And it's just. so very Tyr to throw himself in the line of fire trying to keep people he meant to keep out of overcomplicating situations safe.
And I am, overall, just a sucker for the way this update brings it back to... I guess grass roots, you could say. Grounding the story in what's actually happening to places like Ord Mantell, brushing with some of the consequences on people in general - the Hidden Chain stealing supplies, possibly moving people, even, or at least their allies might be - sells the big story in the end, I think. Otherwise, the big, vague prophetic 'the fate of the galaxy sets on your shoulder' doesn't really settle as much. This might be what you're fighting for, or it might be what you're costing along the way. And I just like having that connective tissue that is 'they're here for supplies;' they're rebuilding and moving forward with plans after Ruhnuk, and Malgus's threat that all things will still unfold according to a plan is still lingering around.
[Also, Rass people. The flirts. wtf I love it. They're adorable.]
And I really am just. Such a hopeless sucker for scenes like this. A little slice of just being people in between all the galactic turmoil and heroics.
So, I've still got a fair amount of things to be chewing on! Once I'm through this last week of finals stuff, I'll expect I'll hop on TrooperTyr and go. redamage my emotions further and play it pubside and have a whole other whirlwind of emotions about how he handles it too dlfknsadlkf;sld. For now, time to pop some screenshots into the queue! ^.^
OH. ALSO. Kessing's Landing is fucking beautiful.
