Changed up my leg day today to do less exercises but focus more on the mind muscle connection Do each exercise for 3 sets of 18 reps then move on to the next one. At the end run through it as a 5x5. 3x18 banded glute bridge with adductor 3x32 paces weighted low walking lunge 3x18 rdl into a squat 3x18 banded fore hydrants and banded kick backs. Chest and arms workout 4 circuits all 3x16 Rest at the end of the circuit Circuit 1: DB chest press DB chest fly Banded bicep hammer curls Circuit 2: Incline DB chest press Incline DB chest fly Banded dual curls Circuit 3: Banded chest press downs Triceps overhead press Weighted crunch Circuit 4: Banded chest fly pressing down Triceps push down Weighted Russian twists Then do 4 sets of the workout from @1stphorm in their transphormation app. Or you can do that workout in full then do mine as 3x6. Got up later than I would've liked but I've been really tired so far this week. And in the process of getting up, I dropped my water bottle which woke up sean sooooooooooooo I had a workout buddy this morning. And by buddy I mean I worked out and he ran around and played. Workout was back and shoulders. 4 circuits each then the burner from the 1st phorm app. I did that as 4 sets of 5-10. 4 circuits. 3 sets each. 16-18 reps. Circuit 1: Banded lat pull down Single arm lat pull down Shoulder press Circuit 2: Banded seated rows Banded seated face pulls Front raise Circuit 3: Banded lat pull down Bent over supine row Lateral side raises Circuit 4: Single arm row Rest delt banded pull Standing Russian twists You can do the burner as 4x10 or do that in full and do this as 3x4-6. I wake up at 4am. I workout. Make my coffee, pack breakfast, lunch, snacks Leave for work. Clock in at 5:45am and clock out at 4pm. I'm paid a percentage of each load i get. As long as my wheels are rolling, I am making money. Im guaranteed a paycheck. I get vacation time, paid time off, sick time, benefits, 401k. When I get home, I get to be me. Scroll on social media. Make YouTube videos. Play with my child. Focus on my child. Cook, clean, read and relax. This is what I thrive on. Structure. Schedules. Plans. I tried to upload a video but it won't load. So I'll make a long post instead.... Im so tired of seeing people use mental illness as if it's a personality trait or as if it is a piece of clothing. It is not, and people struggle with it every single day and even as an advocate, I still dont just throw out mental illness like it's the cool thing to do. I see it all the time on social media, people posting about mental illness to be "relatable", to target people, sell products and grow teams. It's not something to just throw around because people struggle with it daily and it can be debilitating and crippling. The doctors appointments. The medications and medication adjustments. Therapy appointments. Struggling with the demons in your mind and having to be strong and fight every single day. Not wanting to get out of bed, but getting up because you have too. Wanting to disappear and leave this world while simultaneously wanting to stay alive because you know rationally the other is not the answer. Having a good life but still wishing you weren't here even tho you love your life and feeling worse because you know there are people out there who live in fear and you don't have too. Looking at your child and knowing in your heart you ate a good person and good parent but still feeling like they deserve better. Sleep issues, mood swings and being upset not knowing why and it's because of your mental illness. There are things that can help but nothing anyone sells can or will change your brain chemicals and take it all away. You can be the epitome of health and still struggle. Be the richest in the world and still struggle. So please for the love of god stop using mental illness like it's a fad and the cool thing to do because it's not. We don't put ours on blasts because of the stigma around it. For fear of using it as attention when thats not the case for us. We struggle but we are doing our best.
