I made this after seeing Haley Heynderickx live in Pasadena a few months ago (and of course I didn’t post it until now haha). 

I made it trying to incorporate the whole album ‘I Need To Start A Garden’ but I seem to have gravitated towards the song ‘The Bug Collector’. During the show she mentioned that a new album is in the works (which is why I only have one photo haha), an album which resonates with her life now. Her music is so beautiful, complex, and inspiring and I’m just so excited for it!

We had a visitor the other day.

This might surprise you, but a praying mantis can indeed kill and eat a hummingbird. Only large mantises around 4 inches long have the capacity to catch a hummingbird, though.
