So has Time ever told the Chain he was raised by a tree?
Because I can’t get over the comedic potential of Time talking about his father, and the Chain just assuming he’s talking about a human being. He doesn’t bring up his elusive father often, but when he does it’s always a punch to the gut. Time will just be like, “Oh yeah my dad took me in as an infant when my mom died.” “I watched my dad die at the start of my journey.”
At first Time doesn’t mean to trick them, but then he realizes that the Chain is just assuming that he was raised by a human. So he just lets it snowball. He starts telling them more, seeing how long it takes for them to realize he was raised by a tree. “My dad couldn’t move around much but he was a good dad nonetheless.” “Oh how old was he? Ancient.” “He was our protector, really. Always seemed to know what was going on in the woods.”
And it just keeps snowballing. Malon gets in on it. Since Time knew him in the War of Eras, Wind already knows that Time was raised by a tree but is 100% down to keep up the charade for Time.
Meanwhile Warriors is just fuming because, guys, guys he’s talking about a tree. No I’m being serious guys—
No one believes Warriors when he says Time was raised by a tree. Absolutely no one. It makes Warriors so mad. Time, though, finds this all absolutely hilarious.
Somehow though it gets out that Time really was raised by a tree. Maybe they end up in the Kokiri Woods and either Saria or the Deku Sprite are like “oh yeah lol you mean the Great Deku Tree? Yeah, Time was raised by it like all the Kokiri.”
The rest of the Chain is just flabbergasted. Time is almost dying of laughter. Warriors is pissed because he’s been saying this all along.
So yeah. Time was raised by a tree and uses it to fuck with the Chain. Don’t ever tell me Time is not a gremlin underneath his mature-looking armor.

So far we've seen Dan Feng in these (at least most likely unreliable) narratives as this imposing, stoic and regal figure.
What if he was just as unhinged, possibly even more unhinged, than even the Trailblazer?
Everybody has their quirks, from the wild to the mundane. What's Dan Feng's quirk?
Voluntarily poisoning himself (for experiments).
When he was just a young'un, one of the first things he did when he visited the Alchemy Commission was deliberately let a snake bite him just so he could experience the effects of the venom. He was forbidden from being left alone in the medicine cabinets without a supervisor.
When Baiheng first visited Dan Feng for a lunch between actual friends, the sheer volume of her panicked screams would make you think she happened across a dead body. And of course she would scream at the sight of the nearly dead body of the Luofu's High Elder, keeled over on the floor just barely breathing from the poison in his lunch because he refused a food tester. And then she finds out Dan Feng knew his lunch was poisoned, and wanted to guess what kind of poison it was.
When it happened in front of Jingliu, she punched Dan Feng in the stomach hard enough to make him puke it all back up and carried him all the way to the Alchemy Commission.
Yingxing once went on a peaceful walk with Dan Feng in Fyxestroll Garden and listened to Dan Feng talk about botany and plants he recognized. (Haha, he's nerdy~)
He turns his head just for a moment to really appreciate some water lilies and lotuses; and when he returns his attention, Dan Feng is chewing on something.
Neither of them brought food.
Yingxing: "What are you eating?"
Dan Feng freezes like a cat caught in 4K.
Yingxing looks behind him and notices another brightly (and quite dangerously) colored flower bushes.
Not too long ago, Dan Feng was quite excitedly rambling about those specific flowers being poisonous:
Nausea and vomiting
Respiratory issues
High temperature
Chills
Headaches
Rapid and irregular pulse
Possibly hallucinations
Yingxing: 😱 "SPIT IT OUT!! SPIT IT OUT RIGHT NOW!!!"
Dan Feng: 👀
Dan Feng flees at 15 meters per second so Yingxing can't catch him.
And despite his best efforts, including stationing a Cloud Knight in every nook and cranny hidden somewhere on the Luofu, Jing Yuan failed to account for the random potted plants in the Seat of Divine Foresight.
Not a single one of them is medicinal, let alone edible.
Oh dear.

Okay last one until after I post chapter 13 and a few requests I promise
But this is a headcanon I’ve had for a LONG TIME and I don’t remember if I’ve seen it anywhere else or not but
Wayne was Eddie’s dad’s brother, the complete opposite of him in just about every way
He was the first one who dated Eddie’s mom in high school, loved her so much she didn’t know what to do with it, didn’t know how to accept that love so instead she found it in someone who didn’t give her the right kind of love and dated the other Munson
She didn’t know she was pregnant when she broke Wayne’s heart, had no idea she was giving up a future that maybe wouldn’t have been perfect, but would’ve been filled with love
She convinces Wayne’s brother the baby is his, which is easy because she’s only 6 weeks along when she finds out and he’s not very bright to begin with
Wayne left town when they broke up, cut off contact with them completely, so he doesn’t even know
But he knows when he gets a call from CPS that his brothers in prison and the only love of his life is dead, he’s gotta take in his nephew and love him the way he always deserved but probably never got
At first, he just does what he can to make sure he’s safe and doesn’t run away. At 12, he’s pretty resourceful and probably could make a hell of a run for it if he wanted to
But the longer Eddie’s with him, the more he notices about their similarities
Some of it can be explained away, if he’s half his brother, it makes sense they share some genetic traits
But the dimples he has weren’t from his dad or his mom, only Wayne had those
And he knew Eddie didn’t those curls from anyone but him
Even things like the way he liked his hamburgers and his favorite beer when he got older were the same as Wayne
The way he was stubborn, and worked hard but only if he cared about it, all Wayne traits
Wayne does the math
Wayne doesn’t need any type of DNA test to know what’s going on now
Eddie is his son not his nephew, and he doesn’t know it
He’s treated Eddie like a son since he came to live with him, so nothing changes but sometimes Wayne just looks at him, watches the way he weaves stories for his friends with that dragon game and the way he mixes his vanilla ice cream with coke, and the way he sleeps with his mouth wide open but doesn’t snore
He knows he should tell him, knows he should do a test to confirm it
But he doesn’t know how to approach it so he doesn’t
He’s forced to when Eddie’s in the hospital, the government running every test under the sun to confirm he’s safe enough to release into the general public when his name is cleared, one of those being DNA
When the doctors ask if he was aware Eddie was his son while Eddie stares at him with wide, teary eyes and Wayne thinks this is it, this is the last time Eddie will want anything to do with him
But he’s crying because he suspected it for years, but didn’t let himself think that because he didn’t think he deserved to have a dad who actually cared about him
It’s awkward at first, difficult for them to really acknowledge it out loud, especially when Eddie explains to all those kids who hang around and the Harrington boy and even Hopper, who Wayne thought was dead
But eventually, they reach a point where it just makes sense
Eddie starts calling him dad, says even without it being a fact, he was more of a dad than the guy who “raised” him
Wayne cries about it, never thought he’d have this or anything close to it
Eddie cries about it too, mad at his mom for hiding this and hiding him from a relationship with his real dad who would’ve given them both the love they deserve but happy he was getting it now

on my last hc, i said steddie goes to new zealand for their honeymoon because you can't tell me that eddie's not the kind of guy that would be like "you know where the perfect honeymoon would be? new zealand!" and steve agrees, thinking they're going to see mountains or hot springs or some shit but when they arrive there eddie informs him that he signed them up for the 14 day lord of the rings package tour all over new zealand 😭
when steve finds out, he's speechless and shocked and eddie's giving him the biggest puppy eyes, "are you going to take this away from your husband?!"
when steve finally sighs and agrees, eddie takes out a whole ass costume and gallops to the group 😭
also edit: after the 14 day tour, eddie's so tired, steve has to carry him to the hotel and eddie's babbling incoherent stuff to steve but he does manage to catch "i am so happy. married to my dream guy and i just saw a hobbit-hole." steve rolls his eyes, but atleast the nerd he's married to is really happy and they really were right when they said "happy husband happy life" <3

some killjoys past headcanons (mostly venom siblings)
-Kobras and Poisons moms met when they were both wandering in the desert. Poison was like 3 years old, and Kobra was a newborn. Their moms started to live together (thats why Kobra and Poison are convinced theyre siblings. their moms never told them otherwise) but didnt really take care of the kids, because both of them were ex-baterry city citizens who escaped to the desert, and they hated it. They blamed their problems on the kids. Poison was the one to take care of Kobra
-When Party was 10 and Kobra was 6, their moms decided to sell them to BLI for some money (Party was going to be trained to be a model because of his slender constitution, and Kobra was going to be trained to be a scarecrow). Party somehow overheard the two women talking, and decided to escape with Kobra.
-the next two years, Party and Kobra roamed alone in the desert without anyone. in thoses years, Party's physical state started decaying. They gave almost all resources (food, water) to Kobra because they were really protective of him.
-in the end, when Party was 12 and Kobra was around 8, they casually stumbled across gravel gerties home for children, and even though Party didnt like the place, they decided the best thing for Kobra was to stay there. so they stayed.
-there, Party met Jet (who was 14 at the time), who lived in the place. and they both started to work as teachers there, because they were really shorthanded in staff. Party didnt like it at all because they already had trouble with kids, but Jet, who had worked there for a year already, helped them to manage the children.
-Kobra had a lot of trouble interacting with children there, because he (like Party) was autistic. of course, neither he or Party knew it. Jet and Party therefore spent a lot of time with Kobra, and thats when the three started to become really close.
-Poison was really protective of Kobra and didnt let him out alone at all. They were scared of anything happening to him- from drunk zoners to dracs, anything really- and Kobra felt like Party didnt trust him. And yes, it messed up with his self-esteem pretty well.
-So after a little fight with Party, he snapped and screamed at them that they didnt trust him, they didnt think he was capable of doing things on his own, and more things (Party still thinks about that day). and he runned away. and logically, like he never got out alone, he quickly got lost.
-Kobra roamed in the desert for a couple days. and thats when he met Ghoul.
-Ghoul's older sister, mother, and father had been killed by the BLI when he was 6 years old. and he had no one since then. He had spent so much time alone in the desert that he forgot how to interact with humans and just treated them as animals. He threw a can down the hill for Kobra to get it. And Kobra actually did. thats what convinced Ghoul he wasnt dangerous.
-Ghoul was 15 too when he met Kobra. and slowly, they got closer and closer, as Ghoul teached Kobra how to survive in the wide desert and Kobra explained to Ghoul how to correctly talk and act around other humans.
-At some point, Kobra accidentaly found his way back to gravel gerties. Three months had passed since he escaped it.
-Jet was to first to see him arrive. When he saw him, he whispered something to a children who runned away, and Jet smiled and told him "welcome back."
-Party arrived running and panting a couple minutes later. When they saw him, they slapped him across the face. And then hugged him. and then slapped him again.
-Ghoul stood a couple meters away, nervous and not sure if it was safe to approach his friend. Jet saw him, asked Kobra about who it was, and he replied "my best friend" without hesitation.
-At first, Party and Jet werent sure it was a good idea to welcome Ghoul among them. but it was the first time Kobra spoke about someone else like they were a true friend. And Jet accepted.
-Party was nervous around Ghoul in the beginning, but then got to know them more and has been forever grateful for him to basically save Kobras life.
-Jet was the one to teach Ghoul how to read. because of course, he couldnt. it frustrated him a lot and he struggled badly with language, but was surprinsgly good at maths, science, and mostly, tech.
-Party trusted Kobra a lot to go out by himself (though it still made them really nervous), and because of that, Kobra started going to Crash Track. And started racing there. He quickly built himself a name among the bikers.

-PRECIOUS BBY
-Had hella long hair when he was younger
-Hated that era of him and always finds an excuse to bolt if someone brings it up
-Actually knows how to play the ukulele
-Always kept it secret from everyone though until Zane found him practicing once
-He thought everyone would judge him but instead they thought it was so cool and requested a bunch of songs
-Is secretly rlly touch starved but would never admit it
-He may deny it to his grave but he once fell asleep in his moms arms when she hugged him
-His birthday is September 22 cause that’s when the ninjago movie was released :D
-Also huge cat person
-Likes to feed stray cats after school and overall just has a huge soft spot for them

-Was actually very open about being trans when he’s the green ninja, he revealed it in a interview he had with the ninjago news station
-Garmadon may hated him but he would and still would not hesitate one bit to shoot any of his generals out of the volcano at full speed if they misgendered him
-He may be the worse guy ever but he’s not going to be transphobic
-Once got caught by Wu wearing one of his outfits
-Surprisingly he wasn’t mad and just laughed and said “Seems your already getting ready to be a master huh?”
-Sometimes vents to his mech about his problems when they’re really bothering him, it even sometimes nods it’s head unintentionally
-(perhaps his mech is alot smarter and aware then he originally thinks-)/hsrs
-His eyes are very sensitive to light bc their green and lighter than other ppls eyes
-Knows how to do a really good villain laugh, he got it from his father
-Is the master of Halloween with that laugh
-Also surprisingly good with little kids
-Sometimes if he has some time on his hands he’ll just randomly come to a kids birthday party as the green ninja, he ofc wasn’t invited but the parents don’t mind
-After Garmadon had stopped his evil ways, Lloyd didn’t know how to bond with him other than like how a 6 year old would
-For example whenever Garmadon would take him home after a night of adventure, he would just pretend to be asleep in the car (or mech) just so that his dad could carry him inside.
-Always feels like he has to be serious but his friends always manage to bring out his little kid side
-Also knows how to speak Japanese fluently
-Garmadon tried to mess with him once by talking in Japanese and was flabbergasted when he spoke Japanese back
-Also knows how to make gremlin noises
-Overall very silly guy much love to him he’s my favorite

The fun and cool thing about speeding bullet as a relationship dynamic is that scout is always running his mouth a mile a minute, but he doesn't necessarily expect anyone to listen. Sniper is always willing to listen to people but it seems like not many people have much to say unless he does a significant amount of contributing to the conversation, and he's not very good at that. Scout can keep a "conversation" going all by himself for near hours; the fact that Sniper does actively encourage him and ask the occassional thoughtful question about his rambling is just the cherry on top.
When Sniper remembers a little tidbit that Scout mentioned once, weeks ago, and brings it up at a relevent time, Scout is like "oh my god he's listening to me???" immediately followed by [swooning] "oh my god, he's listening to me :)" and Scout starts hanging out with Snipes more after that, directing his witticisms on the field toward him instead of to the open air. It's noticable, certainly, especially by Sniper, who finds his day suddenly much more lively.

oh worm more MMA fighter!natsu x teacher!lucy headcanons because they occupy my brain
once her students find out who she's married to, lucy does not see the end of it
there's only a handful of students in her classes that keep up with MMA who all thought it was just a weird coincidence that she had the same last name as natsu until he shows up to bring her something to her class one day
from there word spreads that she has a "famous husband" and some of the students are super skeptical that he actually is until they google him
"oh my god he has a wikipedia page. that means he's famous for real"
"oH MY GOD LOOK MRS. DRAGNEEL IS ON HIS WIKIPEDIA PAGE"
since high schoolers love to gossip, word spreads to other members of staff and that is when lucy knows she will never catch a break, even in the staff room
her students beg her to let them watch videos of his fights in class but obviously she's not going to let them do that because they have to finish reading pride and prejudice
at the end of the year, as a reward for good behaviour (and because she was sick of being hassled for it), they dedicate an entire class just to watching videos of natsu's matches and they cheer for him as "mrs. dragneel's husband"
lucy is the most popular english teacher not just because she's the kindest of the options, and definitely the best at her job, but also because she uses natsu stories as an incentive to get her students to behave/work harder, and it's weirdly effective
when the youngest of her students who first found out who her husband was graduates, she thinks she will finally be free of it until her new class comes in and one of the students is like "hey my older brother told me your husband is an mma fighter" and the cycle begins anew
lucy has two genres of students: ones who are obsessed with natsu, and those who are obsessed with their cat, happy
she'll pretend to be annoyed by it, but she thinks it's really sweet that her students like natsu and she likes telling stories about him because she has a lot to say
the stories range from sweet to wildly embarrassing, and her students think it's so cute how soft she gets when she talks about him
