why I joined tumblr (full story)

TW VENT

I had been bullied since a young age when I went to middle school I kinda became mentally insane there when I was there ppl would always bully me cuz of my looks,”weird things” and I do stuff that are “weird to them” I had very few friends and they ended up bullying me physically(mostly mentally tho) (dw they dnt hurt me just push me ,throw things at me and stuff) I never went to a counselor or got mental help because my parents are pretty strict and they get mad at me for the smallest things and ever since I told my parents why _ they would get mad at me which made me not tell them stuff anymore and I matter what I do they always manage to find out (one time when I was 9 I had two friends who were jealous to who which one is my bff and we went to a counselor and stuff and my parents found out and blamed it on me saying I was the one jealous ever since that when I do something “wrong” my parents would always blame me but one day I just had this thought if I became famous maybe people would accept me and why I chose gacha as my passion is because 1. I’m not good at art and I refuse to be one of those cringe kids to make rly cringe vids lol 2. I heard of it when I was 8(cuz of fnaf lol) my parents made leave the internet game I had acces to gacha and stuff when I was 9 but when I got my phone I rediscovered it:D but first I needed ocs after that I kinda just forgot abt that but during winter break I wanted to make art for fun and fame but I’m not good so I tried to do a anime art generator(I didn’t realized it was wrong until the future lol) but then I discovered picrews I did my first one and it was fun I wanted to make my friends as certain characters as human wolves cuz I got interested in wolves lol then I found more picrews so I did the same thing for them lol but then I found out abt this anime dress up game(forgot the name lol) so I did it for them and that’s when I got their names I was going to do fancy words for their colors but I did it but I used it in japanese since I was interested in anime recently now I got my ocs I recreated them in gacha and I made a few vids for fun meanwhile at school the ppl there still bullied me and I was pissed for the last time so I started social media to take another step I didn’t wanted to get payed on YouTube so I didn’t do that for a while so I did Pinterest instead but I couldn’t figure out how to make posts or videos so I tried to find substitutes and turns out tumblr was one of them so quickly created an account and got started one day my friend told the ppl abt my tumblr and they tricked me (I was dumb lol) to asking me my tumblr user and they saw it and they bullied me for being a gacha person since but that didn’t stopped me as I progressed, made recent posts, tried to make my ocs look better, edit better and have good vids and here I am today as I will take my next big step soon

And with the bullying thing I left that school and got a fresh start on a new school it’s only a little bad but the ppl have no idea abt my interest on gacha(except for a few ppl but they support me) but I feel bad for leaving my bff the only one there who loved gacha just as I do but I am mean towards some people there because it’s hard to trust certain people cuz they remind me of my bullies which made me have trust issues

Which was not so rare but who could be angry about that? Tapping his shoulder you git his attention. Raising a eyebrow in a questioning manner he waited for you to tell him what you needed. Whispering to him you asked for a eraser. Nodding the immortal grabbed into his bag to take it out only to pause and dive back into it. After a minute he finally came up again with a expression which clearly fell into the I-almost-thought-I-forgot-it category. Handing you an eraser and an envelope he gave you his signature smile before focusing once more on the lesson. Starting at the envelope you didn't even notice the lesson progressing further and further. Hearing then bell ring you were ripped out of your thoughts, wondering just what was written in there. Thanking Lilia you gave him his eraser back without even using it before putting the letter into your own bag. You could read it once school was over.

Dear overseer of the world,

This reminds me of the time we went up against that foolish king. He dared to put himself above our beloved God. Dared to question your reign. Dared to challenge you. Back then even the humans were unhappy about his plans but they didn't dare to rise against him. I can understand them for a bit. I also would be intimidated if it were me alone against an army. However, this makes his actions even more disgusting. The dear humans who loved you with every bit of their being were cornered until they had no choice but to say that they were on his side. I should have cut his tongue out back then. If I would have done that then maybe his words wouldn't have been able to hurt so many.

So, whoever hinders you from getting our “cards” will be an enemy in our eyes as well. Let us sharpen our steel for you. Your will is eternal. Your will is justice. Your will is balance. But most of all, your will is absolute. Come to us whenever you wish to. Then we shall discuss who our enemy is and plan a strategy against them.

hii can i request a matchup for twst?? i’m an ace female, 5’0 with a skinny figure and mainly a light/dark academia aesthetic. i’m an INTJ 5w6, really introverted and 100% certain i suffer from at least five kinds of anxiety. i’m extremely closed-off but significantly more open online and to my close friends. i value my alone time very much and it pisses me off when ppl don’t respect my personal boundaries. i’m very cynical, sharp-tongued, and naturally stoic which causes a ton of misunderstandings. my humour is also really cursed. i’m self-deprecating, struggle to accept compliments, and have massive trust issues bcs of my past. i’m very ambitious and often neglect my basic needs when i’m too focused on smth. i also have headphones on like 24/7 (similar to haitham) which frustrates some ppl bcs they think i’m not listening to them. my love languages are defo acts of service and quality time

i’ve whaled so much on merch and gacha it’s embarassing. i take pride on my rhythm game skills and despite rarely getting angry there are certain games that bring out the absolute worst in me (ahem overwatch and league). i’ve been berated by my team so much now i’m numb to being insulted. drawing is my other main hobby (i have an art acc), along with reading and just learning in general. i’m a pre-med so i obv like science but i enjoy history, classic lit, and the arts too. travelling is another hobby but unfortunately i can’t do it as often now :(

Maybe he'll even make you a playlist of mersongs that tell you how much he loves you.

You're gaming, while Jade is laying in your lap, and reading a book.

Suddenly, you get killed by someone on your own team, and you let out a string of curses. You see a flash of teal magic, and feel a tickling feeling under your chin, thoroughly distracting you from your rage.

You looked down to see Jade smirking, as he tickled under your chin with a feather. You scowled.

"Sometimes you take too much after your brother, you know that?"

"You mean with my dazzling good looks?" He said, his grin growing.

"Nah. With your ability to inspire rage."

He sat up, and slotted himself in your lap, a remarkable feat considering how much bigger he was than you. Then he gently strokes your cheek, and leaned in.

"At least I'm the only one of the two of us you love."

You would have given him a snarky response, if his lips didn't cover yours.

After a moment though, you felt the feather tickling the back of your neck.

You snatched it, and chucked it as Jade giggled.

I'm doing a project for school, and I need to have some stories from real people to back up my point. My topic is representation in media and how it affects mental health. I was wondering if you had any stories about a movie/show that has helped your mental health or educated you on something? I know media and representation have really helped me to figure myself out and made me feel seen, so I wanted to do this topic because of that. I really need more stories from real people, so I'm asking people online and hoping some of them reply lol. Thank you!

Well, for me personally, the way The Owl House handles neurodiversity, and LGBTQ2S+, and disability is an eye-opening experience because it was previously unseen to this extent! Notable examples are all how all the characters are shown as no less! They don't have to be "normal" or fit in! What is normal, anyway? They're celebrated and valued for being wholeheartedly, shamelessly, and unapologetically their amazing, authentic selves! No matter who you are, you're valid, there's no normal and it's not frowned upon! The manner in which they're portrayed, they're so well written and that has helped people understand that they're actually neurodiverse, or LGBTQ2S+, has helped them reach out to others and seek for help when needed, myself included!

Luz struggles to fit in on Earth and Eda as well as King, Hooty, and the Collector have a hard time belonging on the Boiling Isles. However, by being open and accepting, they realize that "us weirdos gotta stick together!" to quote the Owl Lady, which is one of the pivotal, if not the main message of this show which is "You gotta be your own witch!" Also how "magic (literally) comes from the heart" it's one of the endless reasons why I love the Owl House so much and my love for it will never die.

The Owl House has allowed me to embrace myself, love myself wholeheartedly and practice more self-care. It's helped me come out of my shell and make friends thanks to the treasure it is that we fans cherish and its beautiful fandom that lets us form profound bonds by sharing this deep love and creating our own fan arts and fan fics. Luz teaches us and helps us, reminds us to be even more vulnerable, and spread sunshine and joy, love, goodness and kindness everywhere we go, to go with all our heart wherever we go! I love myself for being autistic and a genderfluid aroace lesbian even more now thanks to them. This cartoon has even aided me in realzing my sexuality and neurodiversity.

Please, do yourself a favor. Never hide. I've been different than others around me all my life and will proudly continue to do so, wearing it as a badge of honor because if you don't then you insult yourself, you don't live with integrity. Easier said than done but you've got to because if you're not you, then who are you? Never let the haters get you down. I relate to Luz and the others as being a proud outsider who found friends and found family also! Imagine if Luz and the others conformed. I have always found it difficult to be who I am, it doesn't always come out but Luz is so inspiring she's so herself, unique, and spontaneous in everything, makes us accept ourselves and that way I have never been happier to be me, you feel connection to the characters: they represent you, they're others just like you: this is a part of you and I love every part of you. Break free from toxicity and recognize it. Being understood is one of the best feelings. Eda accepting her curse has allowed me to accept every part of myself. It show people that LGBTQ2S+ exists and there's no need to be afraid. Change your life, you're not a tree that's stuck, find your tribe. Keeping things in is self destructive. "Does it have to be perfect?" like the most powerful witch of the Boiling Isles says again. True friendship is also shown, being there for each other. This show also tells us that we make the labels for ourselves, we define. It's how you feel, not trying to fit in the mold, you don't need to meet every single thing on a checklist or match all criteria. The labels are what they are precisely because every beautiful individual adds their own meaning and flavor to it.

Basically, to sum it all up, it portrays neurodiverse and LGBTQ2S+ folks accurately and most importantly in a way that people can relate to and feel good about themselves. For example, for me personally, it helped me open up more, embracing and expressing my true and best self, every day we get better and better. We become more social and actually truly connect with others deeply due to our shared love for the owl house which is usually hard for me to do as a high-functioning, self-advocating, and self-diagnosed autistic (or Aspie, though I don't use this label now since its no longer in use). It shatters stigma and stereotypes. It's simply groundbreaking. With love, and support, found friends, and family both biological and found, you can thrive, not just survive, and be loved, and accepted for exactly who you are nothing lees you're just weird enough to be the awesome you that you are. These and countless others are the feel good messages of this show.

Of course this essay wouldn't be complete if I didn't mention Amity Blight! Almost everyone in the Owl House undergoes key character development and their life as they know it changes in the best possible way, no less than thanks to Luz Noceda, which is an astonishingly beautiful thing but I believe I can safely speak for many, if not all of us (also yours truly), when I say that Amity undergoes the most amazing and impressive character development I've ever seen so far! Goes without saying! She starts off being seen as a bully when in fact it is later revealed she never was. It's never taken for granted that Luz with the sunshine she is and spreads selflessly everywhere, helped Amity rediscover her true self. Amity understands and goes on a journey or self improvement. If that's not inspiring, then I don't know what it and I'm not exaggerating here! Amity does a lot of self work, recognised her mistakes and attempts to become a better friend to Luz pretty quickly.

Hm, I wonder if when Luz said, "I'm not a witch but I'm training hard to be one." and showed Amity the ball of light emerging from the light glyph, she was speaking to her essence and broke through/got through to her!

And then, when Amity said "remember to turn on the light" to Luz and saved her in WAD, she woke her up bc she reminded her that Luz is light, literally!

Luz helps Amity remember who she really is, to return to her true self, who she always has been deep down, not just sb trying to achieve ultimate status and Amity helps Luz remember that she's the light of everyone's life! To continue to be who they really are! They saw through each other! I think they also literally became each other - Amity became Luz's light and Luz was suffering with the same issues as Amity, thinking that she ruined everyone's lives which was definitely not true in both cases! Neither Luz nor Amity ruined everyone's lives, ofc! It was the complete opposite! And they did what one did for the other as I said above but reversed!

Bc Amity and Luz are essentially the same -both so positive, carefree (maybe not always but eventually and unafraid to be themselves), dorky, nerdy goofballs who are so kind and sweet and powerful and so much more and full of love! (But also different in their own unique way)!

Love and kindness always win in the end and we have them inside us! We are love and kindness themselves! We just need to give each other a chance!

Luz, Raine, Masha, The Collector, King, Papa Titan, Amity, Hunter, and basically everyone is probably on the spectrum so hats off to everyone and them. Eda helped me confirm my gayness, something I was already aware of before the Owl House. Same goes for the characters mentioned above: Luz as genderfluid; Raine, Masha and The Collector non-binary; Papa Titan as probably non-binary/agender genderfluid? (Feel free to correct me, sorry if I'm wrong)! Vee also (however, I don't think the creators have canonically confirmed whether she's/they're envy or demigirl or something similar but I'm assuming this headcanon respectfully and again, if I'm wrong, please feel free to correct me and educate me because I believe we're all always stil learning! However, again because people are allowed to be truly themselves - as it should be -and not marginalized and hiding for that, we can thrive. I understood that I can actually be attracted to women (I already knew that before, I believe I even had a type already, Eda basically confirmed that or the feelings around that time just happened to coincidentally appear and feel more real not because necessarily because of their frequency and intensity because you can still be attracted to someone even if the attraction isn't always there and strong (hence my aroace label) whether it's frequent and or not intense. Aroace folks can feel or not feel love and attraction and want or not want a relationship and sometimes I have felt not wanting that but it's always very brief, I do want love, I'm too much of a hopeless romantic at heart not too! I also already knew i was genderfluid. I'm a cis woman, I've always mainly identified as a woman but I'm more than just that "label": its doesn't define me fully. It's broad and vague so I feel it fluctuates. I can be and express myself as any gender: no gender, both genders - its never fixed. Before however I always knew I wasn't straight but I wasn't sure if i was LGBTQ2S+. I used to think I was demi sexual, panromantic but it's exactly why all kinds of representation is vital! It's ok to be a late bloomer but if this cartoon existed earlier it would have helped. Dana Terrace herself claimed to be a late bloomer also. Speaking of which, a huge thank you to her and her crew for creating the Owl House! They changed our lives forever in the best possible way! The connection and love between us fans, whether casual viewers or die hard fans will always be priceless: this show means everything to me and always will!

There's a lot more that can be covered but the essay would go on far too long and I don't know the word limit for your project but I hope this is enough!

Baji Keisuke x reader

A/n: This was originally on my main acc but I decided to re-write some parts and deleted this from my main acc to repost it here! c:

Word Count: 773 (not much but I hope you enjoy^^)

You and Baji had a very special relationship. You could call it “we know we like each other” relationship. You weren’t a part of toman, but you grew up along with them. Ever since the day toman was founded and even before, you were always by their side, taking care of them. You’re considered as their mama 😌

As kids, you attended Grandpa Sano’s martial arts class. So you know Shinichiro, Mikey, and Emma quite well. Since you attended martial arts class, of course you do know how to fight but you never wanted to join Mikey’s gang. Because you were just there to take care of the members. Not to recklessly fight along with the people you’re supposed to be caring of.

Finding out that Kazutora “accidentally” killed Shin shocked you. You knew the consequences that Mikey could give the world. However, you couldn’t help but forgive Kazutora for it. You couldn’t just ignore him all your life. You felt bad for what Kazutora went through and would go through. But you felt worse for Baji. Why? ‘Cause you had favoritism. It’s because he carried all the burden to himself. Or is it just because you like him?

Anyway, ever since that incident happened, you’d always stick around Baji, making him smile and cheering him up. Basically looking obsessed with him but the members knew your kind intentions.

Then one day, without you, toman was hanging around, having a good time until the topic goes about you and Baji.

“Hey, Ken-chin, doesn’t Y/n and Baji seem so much closer than before?” Mikey smirked. “Hmmm… Right, I did notice that.” Draken responded, looking ready to ship you both. “HAH?!?” Baji shrieked. Mitsuya throwing off a smirk at Baji. While Pah-chin was… of course, eating. Draken and Mikey snickered, shushing Baji, while Baji was flustered.

Then you arrive, stared at them, “What are you guys going on about now?” you asked, raising a brow. “Noth-“ Mikey shut Baji’s mouth, “You and Baji.” Mikey continued on behalf of Baji. You sat down and helped yourself with a little of Pah-chin’s food. “Uh-huh, what about me and Baji?” you once again asked, chewing while Pah-chin got mad at you.

“Well, just about how you and Baji got closer than before.” Mikey replied to you, finally letting go of Baji’s mouth. “Ah-“ you fought back the blush that was appearing on your face.

Baji sat quiet, you glance at him and made eye contact which made you both even more flustered. You cowardly looked away and started taking a sip from a water bottle.

“What’s wrong with it though~? We never said anything about you both liking each other” Mikey shrugged. You choked on water, painfully coughing. Baji patted your back and gave you a handkerchief.

You take a deep breath and calmed yourself down. “Thanks,” you thanked Baji.

“I see now.” Mitsuya said, smirking at the two of you. “SEE WHAT?” You and Baji screamed to Mitsuya.

And the fight kept going on and on while you and Baji just gave them more proof of liking each other. Until the night sky appeared, and all of you decided to go home.

“You better be the one sending Y/n home, Baji!!” Draken shouted. Baji mumbling, “I’d do it without you needing to remind me, idiot,” he pouted. While everyone waved goodbye, Mikey kept snickering ‘til the end.

You sighed, “Finally, some peace and quiet.” Baji chuckled, “Shall I send you home then?”

You gave him a smile in reply, walking on your way home.

While walking in the dark alleys with Baji, you both kept quiet. Both of your footsteps being the loudest thing to be heard. “I’m a little worried,” you broke the silence. “Hmm? About what?” Baji curiously asked. “Well, you’re becoming more and more of a delinquent. What if you get more hurt than this? It could lead to many negative things, you know. Especially when toman’s getting very well-known,” you worriedly addressed. “Well, you shouldn’t really worry about that. We’re strong, you know! You shouldn’t be underestimating toman,” He proudly replied with a small huff. You deeply sigh, expecting that reply. Baji took a glance at you, then looked up at the sky.

“Why? You scared you’re gonna lose me?” Baji teasingly asked. You were caught off guard at his question, but you answered, “Yeah, maybe I am.” Baji looked at you in complete shock, internally screaming and blushing.

A few seconds later, after he calmed himself down, he spoke in a serious tone breaking the small silence, “One way or another, you’ll be with me. I’ll make sure of it. Got that?”
