When Robin comes out to Nancy, Nancy asks her how she knew. Robin describes how, throughout highschool, there was this one girl who would always sit in the exact same place in the cafeteria at the exact same table with her friends every day. Robin tells Nancy how she would watch the girl during lunch every day, that the girl had long, brown wavy hair that she was constantly brushing out of her face and tucking behind her ears. Robin would mention that she never seemed to eat much of her food, picking at it with her fork, and didn’t talk much to anyone except the red-headed girl that she was always sitting next to. Robin says that she had been utterly enchanted by this girl, but had never had the courage to try and talk to her, not even to ask her name.

And Nancy is sitting there thinking back to how she used to sit in the exact same place at the exact same table in the cafeteria every day with Barb sitting next to her, and about how she never liked the cafeteria food much and used to pick at it rather than eat it, frequently having to tuck strands of long, wavy, brown hair behind her ears as it kept falling into her face.

This is coming from someone who is BMI 11.2

People don’t “admire” you like they think you will. Nobody will be jealous of you, people will get grossed out by you.

You wouldn’t be able to wear all the cute clothes you think you will at your UGW. You’ll be so freezing, all the time. No matter how hot it is outside, you’ll be cold. It will be impossible for you to wear cute clothes.

Boys. You think boys will say cute shit like “Oh my gosh, you’re so light! I could pick you up so easily!” But in reality, they say things like “You can’t defend yourself when you’re that tiny” or “You’re so easy to hurt now”

You’ll never reach your UGW. You will reach your first UGW… but that won’t be enough. You’ll keep lowering it. You’ll never be satisfied.

Nobody is telling you “Oh my god you’re so tiny” in an admiring way. They’re grossed out. To you, balding, having a sunken in face and looking corpse-like may be attractive in your eyes, but most people think you look ugly. Sorry.

The new chapter from bodhi and darling holds my heart. Her anxiety and fear for bodhi dying. It's so heartfelt, she hugs him longer than usual and he is concerned about her. But he's the first person to guess her signet, and what a signet. I don't know how you keep coming up with all these amazing signets. It's so sad that on one side she feel anxiety or anxious that she won't know what's a dream and what's real or going to be real, but he is with her all the way. He's such teddy bear material.

and as for her signet… I came up with the visions thing for a one-shot request, and kinda made her character around that. it’s a response to her trauma, like Angel’s is, (and Mira’s gf’s… but I haven’t shared that one yet hehe).

poor Darling was completely surprised by so much — her parents didn’t tell her at all about her arranged marriage to Bodhi, or their involvement in the revolution or anything — and it really hurt her that it was so unexpected and sudden. so now she has the wound of constantly worrying about herself, Bodhi, her little siblings (twins, a boy and a girl), and the rest of her friends too.

this signet will help her regain some control of her life and have her never be blindsided like that again. also, I just think it’s really cool and powerful hehe. Darling is gonna be such a boss… she’ll be taking a leadership position in her second and third year (FW and IF). that is also going to give her a sense of control, and it’s natural for her to be in that “eldest sister” role where she can protect the younger kids.

and Duchess is the matriarch of the whole family in Aretia, highly respected and running the show, but Darling is going to fill that role at Basgiath. I kinda showed in “not that bad at all”, the other marked kids respect her and let her call the shots, partly due to her signet and her very strong intuition, but also because she’s the most motherly of the gang, as she was raised to be a housewife, and she knows how to care for a family (more on that coming later.)

anyway I’m so obsessed with them (I say that about all the couples, but it’s true.) their next chapter is going to be set during Fourth Wing again, because Darling agreed to train Vi… so they’re gonna bond a little bit, and you’ll find out more about Darling as Violet does. some surprises in there, hehe 🥰

but like for Real patrick would never abandon art like that imo. and he had every right to do what he did w tashi (twice). like imagine your best friend of 7 years tries to get with your girlfriend when you thought you were all just chilling, and then when you and your gf have a fight he swoops in and like shields her and pushes you out and then he doesn’t talk to you for years and years and you don’t even really get a proper breakup with him or your girlfriend bc the last time you see them is them yelling at you to get out, so you leave and you lose your best friend ever bc he was being a cunt to you and you lose your girlfriend bc your best friend is a cunt to you. and you have no friends and no family support and so you focus on your career but it lowkey fails bc you’re just not doing ok in general. and then you find out that they’re dating years later and then you see the ex girlfriend who you were actually serious about it and being w her for the first time you thought about lowkey settling down with maybe. and then she’s engaged to the friend. like girllllllll i’d have fucked her too to get back at that man 😭 plus she was like the realest relationship he’s ever had aside from art and like he never blamed her really for cutting him out bc he understood her (but she also was not in the wrong for cutting him out it was just really sad like i felt so bad for patrick throughout the entire movie even though he was kind of a dick in his attitude)

okok so I actually haven’t completely finished it yet, I have two episodes to go!! generally so far I think it’s not bad? like, I’m enjoying it even though it’s not as good as it could be. I think they did the casting really well (gordon is literally aang irl) as well as the visuals/costume/the general look of it

however 🤓☝️ I don’t think they did the characterisation very well … the majority of the time the characters feel kind of dry, when in the original they’re so fun!!!!! like I swear they stripped away sokka and katara’s entire personality 🤨 and wdym zuko has not mentioned his honour once 🤨 also the way they cut so many “filler” episodes … likeee give us some fun episodes please!!! overall I think they just tried to make it way too serious .. they stripped away all the fun! and like yeah it can be serious and mature but why not have both!!!

but yes I’m still enjoying it, despite it being not as good as I’d hoped (which is probably partly nostalgia driven). the episode with zuko’s backstory made me cry lolzies. and I’m excited for the next seasons!!!!!! especially zuko’s redemption arc because dallas is going to look so incredibly scrumptious with the grown out emo boy hair 😁😁😁 anyways this was way longer than it needed to be, shutting up now xxx

It’s actually Jill x Meg! I’ve been calling it Speeding Bullet.

It started because my gf at the time was the one who introduced me to dbd- we met through the re8 community and they dragged me over to The Entity’s realm wheeze. They actually introduced me to Susie/Julie first! Those were the characters that got me into dbd.

My first dbd simp was Susie lmao, here’s the proof:

When I did get the game finally- they mained Jill and I mained Meg- so I started shipping them together, and the more I thought about them- the more they just made sense together- and I’ve continued shipping them since then.

Although it was a messy break up- I still hold that person dear to my heart. It was my first serious relationship, and although there were many flaws- it was my first mostly healthy relationship. They accepted me despite my critical stage of depression- the one to push me to therapy, to really start that journey to discovering myself and learning to accept myself. And as I continued my journey to accepting myself, I used Haddie to help me- and eventually I started shipping Haddie/Mikaela as a way to exercise self-love when I finally came to accept most of who I am now.

Haddie and Mikaela have a pretty complicated history with me bahaha. Haddie in particular. It’s a lot of baggage I’m not comfortable sharing publicly, but to have a home for them on my blog has been a huge honour<3

And for that ex-gf, I really hope they’re doing well. We may not have separated on the best of terms, but I was blessed to have our worlds cross for the time it did. It was definitely an experience I wouldn’t have traded for anything, and perhaps someday I’ll have the honour to see them again and thank them for being such a wonderful person. They were such an expressive, unique individual who saw the world so differently- the experience I had being theirs for the moment I was has and will always continue to inspire me.

MileApo and the soap opera part 2.

It’s a law of physics, every time Mile and Apo aren’t physically in the same city, a soap opera will occur.

You can mark my words and trust me on that lol. Next time Mile or Apo is away BAM, soap opera part 3. The intensity of said soap opera may vary of course. You’re now aware of the previous soap opera, now episode 2.

Kalasin man went home for family matters and business, he attended an event celebrating mothers, and there gave a speech. In that speech he found it important to highlight that he didn’t have a partner yet. Why? Who knows what prompted that, all the speculation about his hypothetical GF? Those speculations occur every other week.

What ensued was predictable and funny fans all over the world saw an opportunity. And they trended a hashtag #daugtherinlawofRamsaithong celebrating single Mile and made their desire to become his partner. Marriage proposals started pouring. Fans were ready to pack their bags, swim across oceans, leave their significant others, and hilarious memes were created. Kalasin was ready to have twice more visitors than usual.

Kalasin man finally caught the hashtag and was confused. Apo had posted coincidentally a picture of him telling everyone he was still alive and his perfectly handsome self was the one to explain. Fans wants to be daughter in law in your family, please tell mum.

‘Please tell mum.’ And translators started losing it again. Not tell “your mum”. As if the mum wasn’t interesting enough what follows was even more interesting. Mile didn’t even reply to Apo’s tweet he went straight to the hashtag and what did he do? If I’m not mistaken, he liked one tweet about him cradling an Apo cat and a tweet saying no need for the queue, the place is already reserved, by one Apo.

Some said it’s fanservice. Are you kidding me? Where? He did nothing. He has to cater to several fans, remember? Good fanservice would have been to reply to Apo with something like, ‘so cute, I’m flattered, I would be honoured, but I’m afraid Porsche would curse at me.’ See, he would have killed five birds with one stone, everyone wins, shippers, fans drooling over him, etc.Then he would have interacted with hundreds of tweets, liking, sharing like he did for the first soap opera. But NO, he shot the whole thing down, tons of proposals and he shut it ALL down. He said don’t unpack, cancel your flight tickets, I’m not available and I don’t want to be. LOL.

I didn’t see this one coming. But I’m impressed. I don’t like it when Mile becomes unpredictable, so annoying lol. Many possibilities here and variables, of course.

But what I get from this is Mile acknowledging and rewarding MileApo partnership. It doesn’t necessarily mean a romantic one, but they’re in this together. And the fact that he doesn’t have a significant other means that his time and energy are in the only relationship which matters at the moment MileApo, bond and brand. This is what takes precedence right now, no distractions. And I respect that. It’s practical and logical and very Mile.

He may also be afraid of his mother, maybe she told him, no crazy fan as in law in my house lol. And perhaps Mile as well doesn’t want to be chased. Was he afraid of Apo? Perhaps, but it doesn’t mean in a romantic way. They both share values and I’m sure also a code of conduct. The thing is it was a great opportunity for fanservice and having fun with Fans but he didn’t take it, which tells you that he has his boundaries and he doesn’t want anything messing up with the MileApo bond and brand. Later he was liking tweets about MileApo destiny and being soulmates. This man.

And Mile not having a partner doesn’t mean he’s emotionally available, same for Apo. And it’s something we tend to forget.

i am once again going insane about tiny zikki moments from mostly unrelated episodes. today's installment is their moments in 2x24 'three's company'

let's talk about the moment he finds her on the beach and calls out 'hey stranger!!' and she immediately gives him this familiar and fond smile. he wants to hang and she's trying to be all cold and distant but you can tell she is so happy to see him like when he offers to take her to the movies and holds her hands and does the little thumb-rub thing not once but TWICE tumblr user hoziersgf found deceased she can't stop smiling even though you can tell she doesn't want to be. then rikki is like 'some other day okay' and kisses his cheek and it is undisputably adorable and he just. leaves her to it. lets her have her space even though he misses his gf because he knows she's going through it with mermaid shenanigans and respects her boundaries season one zane would NEVER

also litch really wrote an entire post about this one (1) exchange but to recap when rikki goes to see zane after taking a step back from the girls and he 1. grins at her like she hung the moon and 2. instantly clocks she's had a fight with the girls since he knows both her AND her friends sooooooo well plus they have a cute little kiss they are in love your honour

we as a society NEED to talk about the moment they’re strolling down the beach with their arms around each other teasing each other and zane is like i’m better company than your friends and rikki is like ‘it’s debatable’ and they both just laugh like they’re so happy and comfy around each other just. doing nothing. plus they are both clearly so mad when emma and cleo interrupt their kiss. can we also talk about the little moment when they say they need to talk to rikki and he patiently waits for her to come back. when she goes back to him her expression instantaneously turns from sour to totally happy and relaxed she’s all ‘where were we’ and he’s like ‘kissing’ and puts his arm around her again and kisses her on the cheek and they laugh together AGAIN. they are disgusting i literally hate them so much.

can't not comment on the other beach scene where rikki is clearly a little restless after excluding herself from the group and zane instantly knows what's wrong and suggests they go to lewis's party. then when she shoots him down immediately he is like 'you don't have to let charlotte win you can go back (to the group) whenever you want' and rikki looks all thoughtful and introspective because she hadn't considered that before. i am the furthest thing from a charlotte hater but in this moment zane reminds her who she is, that she won't let people walk all over, that she's rikki chadwick and she won't be the loser to someone else's winner. zane truly knows her so well that, by simply being there, he never lets her forget who she is. *screams for one thousand years*

i am thinking about the little moment when they're sitting sipping their juices at the juicenet being both adorable and iconic when ash calls rikki. for a sec she meets zane's eye and is like 'hi ash how's the party 😉' because she knows charlotte has probably done a piss poor job throwing a party for lewis sorry charlotte baby i love you dearly but that was a certified mess <3 and wants zane to be included in the joke. when she hangs up she's like 'cleo and emma have left lewis's party' and immediately zane matches her tone like 'that's not like them' just as concerned as her. not only does my guy know rikki chadwick like the back of his hand he knows her friends too!!!! immediately she's like 'exactly' and they rush off together to see what's going on because they are a team and it's fine i'm fine i'll be fine

plus when they’re outside charlotte’s pool room when ash is trying to burst in on cleo and emma and zane is the one to get him to leave them alone when rikki can’t like he leads him away saying it’s ‘secret women’s business’ or what have you. king shit. i also personally think that zane was at least a little bit involved in putting the party boat together for lewis since you can see him checking his watch and staring at the water as if waiting for something right before it gets there i am connecting the dots etc.

anyway in conclusion i believe in zikki supremacy <33
