Okay bc I can't shut up I'll write about my opinion on every ship on that poll/their eligibility. Under the cut naturally

Dazai Osamu/Nakahara Chuuya or skk or whatever: one of my friends hates them so they deserve to be here

Crowley/Aziraphale: agree on the overexposure level of annoying but aside from that they seem like a cute couple. however i think the fans were largely unbearable and there was problems with antisemitism

Steve Harrington/Eddie Munson: nothing wrong with it but definitely inescapable and super fucking annoying, sorry. i'd have no objection to it being canon but people just went way too crazy for it and now idk.

Reylo: absolutely deserves the win

Star Butterfly/Marco Diaz: this shit was fucking messy. the creators handled it terribly. from what little i know. it can stay

Spamton/Jevil: it can stay only because spamton is annoying as fuck (as was the plan surely) not bc of him even but bc of everyone else (as was the plan surely)

Harrier Du Bois/Kim Kitsuragi: yes theyre drawn a lot (and its always good) and im sure people meowmeowify them and do whatever but overwhelmingly their content is super good and they deserve to be annoying and everywhere. booing them offstage for this poll. theyre good

Herbert West/Daniel Cain: havent watched reanimator but im sure they deserve each other. it can stay just bc as i say later i think horror movie shipping is widely bizarre as fuck and kind of dumb (there are exceptions)

Catra/Adora: never watched SPOP and am curious how they ended up together from how odious catra seemed from the start. probably deserves a spot

Akira Kurusu/Goro Akechi: tHIS is the one i want to win for super petty reasons (the name of the ship) but i know realistically it won't. it can stay though simply because of that

Lapis/Peridot: yeah they can stay. SU teased so much shit with ships and then didn't do a damn thing with em. not that they have to but it was annoying

Tenth Doctor/Rose Tyler: I KNOW WHO SUBMITTED THIS and idk if i just missed the blast radius but during superwholock dr who barely grazed me. so i don't have an opinion! they seem like a sweet couple idk if they should be here though i am sure outside of my bubble they're annoying due to being everywhere

Cole Cassidy/Hanzo Shimada: there are worse ships for hanzo. also they're both kinda hot together. feel like i should give them a pass to leave

Takami Keigo/Todoroki Enji: idk about bnha but if that's todorokis dad then he deserves the chair. they can stay here and rot

Beauregard Lionett/Jester Lavorre: i know nothing about critrole but beauyasha appeals more. based on that they can stay bc its fun to be a hater (not really. idk what im saying here) jk they should go bc jester is cute. shin has educated me on who they actually are

Raiden Ei/Yae Miko: i don't know/like genshin much but i think eriko likes them so get them off this poll immediately

Katsuki Bakugou/Izuku Midoriya: absolutely deserves to make it to semifinals at LEAST holy shit bakudeku sucks. and i dont even go to bnha like even a little. dont even know what deku sounds like

Jack Hakrness/Ianto Jones: never watched torchwood. if they had chemistry i am sure people went wild for them and became overbearing though lol but itll never be destiel

Kaname Madoka/ Homura Akemi: after rebellion i guess it's sucks but i really like the premise ): don't feel like it should be here

Alhaithem/Kaveh: idk who they are but as i say further down they're not the most popular genshin ship i know of

Ryuki Kuruto/Date Kaname: don't know these people from adam. no opinion

Ethan Winters/Chris Redfield: dont know anything about RE but if its a case of 'two conventionally attractive guys in the same game' then im sure it is annoying at least a little. still i feel like maybe its just average

Hunter/Willow Park: i know a loooot of people hate this one bc they've seen it so much so i guess it deserves a spot if the people have spoken

Childe/Zhongli: genshin is inescapable. mr electric send them to hell!!!!!! no in all seriousness this one isn't the one i've seen the most of (i say while fully being aware i can't tell anyone in genshin apart)

John Watson/ Sherlock Holmes: I WAS A JOHNLOCK BACK IN THE DAY LMAOOO i hope they make it to semifinals at least

Dimple/Arataka Reigen: THE GREEN THING??/ THATS A SHIP?? FJDJJ

Ashfur/Scourge: never read warriors but the mere thought of shipping cats like just straight up cats who walk on all fours is so funny to me

Zuko/Katara: zutara is cute on like the surface but many indigenous people have pointed out their discomfort and the issues with it and people WERE super annoying about it. theyre better as lifelong pals. it can stay

Jayce/Viktor: sorry gonna be controversial here but i tend to drop a ship if in the series they're shown to be into other people. i was on board for a bit but mel is SUPER hot and jayce was like 'youre like a brother to me (:' and sorry but that kills my enjoyment of ships like immediately. maybe i cling to canon too much but like 'as a brother' has always steered me away from stuff. idk if they should be here but i do wish they were a little less popular. im sure i will be waterboarded for this and told 'thats just the writers trying to sink a ship!!' or whatever but like leave me alone i dont know

Hannibal Lector/Will Graham: theyre funny. they can stay but because theyre the worst affectionately

Dirk Strider/Jake English: dirkjake is soooo fucking mid it deserves a spot

Ash/Serena: who is serena again? ash is like perpetually 10 anyways right so i wouldnt wanna get so passionate about something involving kids holding hands

personally if genshin was gonna be here on terms of being super annoying from what little i know of it it shouldve been kaeluc. also SO many mxtx ships and yet none were even available LMAO i can say 3 off the top of my head that are everywhere and aren't problematic... anyways chicken salad should be here. (redacted) too but in a more affectionate, genuine way. sadly its super problematic so it cant make the cut. tbh im shocked theres no star trek on here either maybe i just follow a lot of trekkies

i follow a diverse group of bloggers who talk about all these different things and some of these have not shown up even once, which means they're not nearly as annoying as being on the poll would lead you to believe. i have a good sample size and if i've never heard of your ship, it shouldn't qualify.

Oh! Didn't know that Saiki K. is a Shounen. Aside that, what are your opinions on that anime? On another note, In terms of fan fiction, what are the fandoms that you actively read on? Do u have recommendations?

Saiki K:

Saiki K is a lot of things. Personally, my brain classifies it as slice of life/comedy FIRST AND FOREMOST but it is also technically a shonen (and yeah, it was published in Shonen Jump.) It’s simultaneously a lot like MP100 and yet also NOTHING like MP100.

In terms of the anime, I have a lot of fun with it! Honestly it’s super overwhelming on first watch because there is SO MUCH overlapping dialogue happening so fast that it’s tough to catch if you aren’t a super fast reader (sub) or are keen to absorb all that stimulus (dub) but I do enjoy it greatly as just something fun and funny and relatively easy to consume (speed of quips notwithstanding). Shun Kaido and his “eighth grade delusion” self in particular charms me as much as it makes me feel bad for him or embarrassed to have to witness him, but honestly the friendships he strikes up with with Aran (who is… likely my favorite. Because delinquent.) and Saiki in particular make me smile. Actually, over time, pretty much all the characters grew on me so even though Miss Ganguro transfer student is my favorite girl, I do also believe in Teruhashi supremacy at the same time. (…If it matters, I also believe Saiki himself is the king of all tsunderes since if he really didn’t like the people around him, he could simply make them cease to be OR change his life so that it wasn’t very particularly structured as a slice of life comedy manga/anime.)

Ah. Well, this is tough… there are SO many good stories out there, Anon. But whatever fandoms I am writing for also tend to be what fandoms I am reading for. The exception seems to be that when I miss a character badly enough I will loop back and re-visit those fandoms, hahaha. Usually this means I revisit the Legend of Zelda recent submissions and scour it for non-Zelink and General content ha ha ha!

Right now, I’m mostly sticking to BNHA/MHA content because that is also what I am writing.

Generally I prefer things that are canon-compliant, canon-adjacent, or AUs that hold very closely to canon or painstakingly careful considerations to characterization… with a few exceptions (I am not quite as self-limiting with Bakudeku/Dekubaku content, though I’m still horribly picky about it.) My Ao3 bookmarks (and most of my Ao3 history, though I don’t curate it as well to junk the ones I clicked on and immediately backed out from) can also function as recommendations, but I’ll list a few favorite authors:

Chymerical (Gen and Bakudeku. I really appreciate Diamond Grind so much but Twice in a Lifetime makes me laugh the most. Absolutely incredible author.)

Kanthia (Legend of Zelda and Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z. Honestly, they’re a personal fandom hero to me and major inspiration. Recently published more post-Cell-Saga stuff that I absolutely ADORED.)

young_crone (A NSFW BKDK author. My favorite is One Day at a Time, the one where their air conditioner breaks and nothing actually happens besides both of them being total dumbasses about handling their day onwards, BUT everything they write is just beautiful. It doesn’t matter to me when they stray farther from their original characterizations because they are just THAT good at doing what they do!)

Seeress (BKDK. Many stories. A little, um, sweeter and more domestic than I usually favor for BKDK, but hey! They’re great! Some are hit-and-miss for me, but I have a special soft spot for Panacea and Let Me Assist You Personally.

MySecretFandomMoments (BKDK, KRBK, TDBKDK. Read Big Protien. Read it right now.)

SmartiMart (Bakudeku, EraserMic, Dadzawa content. By far the most relatively “sappy” author recommendation on this list, but there’s so much energy, real love, and joyful passion in all of their stories.)

Sour_Idealist (BKDK and General. I have a VERY high opinion of their work and wish I could be like them. My favorite is actually a fic that is a meeting between Todoroki Rei and Hawks called Hope That Soul is Changing. It’s fantastic.)

Pikahlua (yeah, like @pikahlua. Someone who writes detailed meta about a series usually brings the same insight and love of the canon material into their work.)

Rironomind (One Punch Man GenoSai and BKDK. Includes an experimental piece for BKDK that I… like I can’t tell you what happened and there’s no way to experience it and I ahsidoemeosoek anyway Colourless Saitama and his Years of Training as well as Mouth in the Door - which is an original work - are my favorites.)

Roadtripwithlucifer (BKDK. Despite several of these authors having a large proportion of NSFW in their works, I somehow want to say she’s the horniest of all my listed authors. Also plays the most fast and loose with most AU concepts, but like. There’s something comforting and very “fanfiction for fanfiction’s sake” about it that I just find super appealing. THAT SAID my favorite is Zero-Sum Game which is a completely and intentionally fucked up story but does earnestly take a lot of the core parts of the BKDK dynamic, crank them up to MAXIMUM VOLUME, and then perform surgery on them under a microscope in front of a live audience.)

Honestly? There are SO many more out there. I stuck to BNHA and BKDK authors predominantly because it’s where I’m at recent to you asking, but there’s always more…

BnHA Chapter 335: It’s Traitor Time

Previously on BnHA:

Today on BnHA: All Might is all “here’s a list of the final villains. you kids can figure out how to divvy them up amongst yourselves.” Deku is all, “thanks All Might. btw did you hear, Kacchan loves me now!” Kacchan is all, “FDSLKFJL I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT.” All Might is all, “fucking superb you funky little hero eggs.” AFO is all, “I know this seems bad, Tomura, but never fear, I have a contingency plan.” Hagakure is all, “EYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.” Fandom is all, “AW MAN, NOT THE SENSIBLE TRAITOR CHOICE THAT ACTUALLY HAS A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF CANON EVIDENCE BACKING IT UP. WHAT ABOUT KAMINARI. MAYBE IT’S A FAKEOUT. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECOVERY GIRL,” and many other reasonable and judicious takes that I will try my hardest not to judge. Maybe it’s Toga in disguise. I’m sorry; I’ll show myself out.

so, I have been spoiled. it would have happened no matter what, and it was honestly kind of fun despite making yesterday one of the longest Thursdays of my life. I’m not gonna try to make a habit of it though lol

but anyways so yeah! time to read the fuck out of this chapter! and I’m only spoiled for the ending (at least I think it’s the ending) and nothing else, so bring on those class 1-A antics and BakuDeku angst if you please!

do you know, I actually looked at that panel and thought, “eggy!” to myself in a B. Dylan Hollis voice. that’s the most gen z thing I have ever done

anyway I’m just gonna guess this is the hero egg metaphor again lol. so now, moving on... omg it’s Deku

believe it or not Deku, he did! he took a lot of damage. and you know what, credit where credit is due, because I have been ripping that little mini-arc to pieces every chance I get, but I do have to hand it to him for closing a plot hole that I know was actually bothering a lot of people, and for doing so in a pretty unconventional way

because most of the time, when the power gap between the hero and the villain is too insurmountable, the author deals with it by powering up the hero, either realistically or otherwise. but realistically in this case would have meant a timeskip, which would have been a huge “no thank you” from me lol. and in any case we already established that option was off the table because TomurAFO isn’t just going to sit around waiting for Deku to train

so what does Horikoshi do instead? rather than powering up the hero, he powers down the villain. because apparently that’s a thing you can do? which, why wouldn’t it be. except that I can’t think of any other stories where this happens, off the top of my head? at least not well in advance of the final battle like this. usually if anything, it would happen during the final battle, like when Evie reads the incantation that makes Imhotep mortal at the end of The Mummy. but I genuinely can’t think of any other instances where an author decided to make their final villain less threatening right before the climatic showdown. this is actually wild to me

anyways but yeah. “whoops my bad, this guy is actually way too powerful. let me just... okay there we go.” the absolute fucking nerve of this guy though. the fucking chutzpah to just be all “I’m gonna bring in a new character with the most op quirk we’ve ever seen in the series just so I can take TomurAFO down a notch because otherwise it’s really gonna bother me”

anyway, that’s just something I meant to bring up over this past week, but never got around to. and just to be clear, I’m still by no means happy about S&S getting killed off. I’m glad it served a purpose, but maybe one of these days we can get that elusive female character who gets to do cool important stuff, and then actually sticks around so she can keep doing more of it. hope springs eternal. anyways but back to Deku and 1-A and All Might

you fucking lucked out on this one Deku. especially since All Might here apparently wasn’t even planning on telling you that you only had two days left before TomurAFO reached full power. like if S&S hadn’t intervened, shit would basically be hitting the fan right now and the kids would have had next to no warning. just curious, are we going to bring that up at some point?

(ETA: nope. Deku’s not the only one who lucked out lol.)

and now he’s thoughtfully summarizing who the final villains are for the benefit of anyone who has not been paying attention

“so for anyone keeping track, that’s four big villains for Deku, Bakugou, Shouto, and Ochako to fight, plus a few scattered mini-bosses for our Iida and Kirishima-tier characters, and then lastly a bunch of small fries nobody cares about who we can just assign to the class 1-B kids or whoever.” thanks boss

okay!! well it’s finally happening, friends! how can I even begin to sum up all my thoughts on this

honestly, this is basically like the Touya reveal for me though, in that I already 100% took for granted that the theory was true. like, there was no doubt in my mind whatsoever. so it’s not really a feeling of vindication so much as it is a feeling of “finally, we’re getting to this”

only difference being that when Dabi’s identity was finally revealed, there wasn’t an outpouring of people saying things like “maybe it’s a fakeout??” or “so disappointing, can’t believe Horikoshi went the obvious route,” or “I think Kaminari would have made a better Touya,” lol. but you know how it is. fandom gonna fandom

I’m getting excited now because AFO’s whole speech about contingency plans, along with the close-up of his eye and then the WOOSH over to Hagakure, gives me hope that this crackpot theory might actually stand a chance. I mean, the guy talks about planning extensively for decades upon decades and accounting for every possible pitfall along the way. it would make perfect sense if one of those contingencies he planned for was the possibility that Tenko might not work out as an heir. in which case it definitely wouldn’t hurt to have a backup Shimura grandchild in play. gotta make sure we do everything possible to fuck with All Might and Nana, right?

but what got me even more hyped was the implication that TomurAFO was communicating with Hagakure through some sort of psychic connection (or via his radio waves quirk? if that’s even still a thing?). you know, exactly like he does with the Noumu. it lends a lot of weight to the theory that Hagakure isn’t necessarily doing this out of her own free will, but is possibly being controlled, or brainwashed

and if any of that is true, we could possibly find out as early as next week! Hagakure flashback time?? Aoyama Unwilling Accomplice/Person Who’s Playing Along Until He Can Figure Out Some Way To Stop Her time?? HANA TIME???? holy shit you guys. how are people not hyped for this lol. “I just wish he’d picked someone with more plot relevance” and why exactly do you think she hasn’t had any plot relevance until now?? “she just doesn’t have any character development” GOOD POINT, IF ONLY HORIKOSHI WOULD GIVE HER SOME. Bakugou of the Demolition Squad is famous for running one of the most popular Youtube channels on the web that regularly blow shit up and jumped off a perfectly good building for shit and giggles. He's also famous for his Cryptid BF™, never appearing on camera except for a few bodyshots and all information on him is kept locked up tighter than Fort Knox, therefore drawing all sort of attention and curiosity toward his mysterious boyfriend.

Deku from Deku Explains is a hopeless chatterbox who is known for uploading 20-30 minutes video that talked about his favorite shows and comics and have one of the most devoted following on Youtube. He also can't seem to shut up about his boyfriend Kacchan, who regularly make his presence on the channel as a disembodied voice.

They should theoretically have nothing in common except a shared platform to host their content and an army of fans with an endless curiosity and devotion to their Youtubers. Vidcon is where we lay our scene and the internet is about to get a rude wake up call.

The boy hits him.

He’s stronger than he looks, turns out. Katsuki drops him and falls onto his back, pain blooming across his face. Birds sing. The sky’s a lovely shade of orange, clouds floating lazily by. The boy scarpers. He leaves his basket of flowers behind, footsteps thumping on the ground and fading away as he escapes.

The sun sets. Katsuki, lying flat on his back with a bloody nose, decides he’s just fallen in love.

I shouldn’t be crying. I’m just being dumb.”

Izuku shushes her. Another tear trickles down her cheek and into her ear. He kisses it away, humming, brushing her bangs off her forehead so he can press his mouth between her brows. “You have every right to be upset. We’ll deal with him later. For now just let us take care of you.”

“She’ll get the message once you stop talking and fuck her,” Katsuki says, slipping his fingers into her. She clenches around him and shudders. “Gonna eat you out ‘til you forget how to move. Now put that fucking motor mouth to good use, Deku.”

But I have to be honest and say that not matter what fandom you're if you ship to character you are going to find some pannel, episode or wherever and use it to make people belive that two characters are in love (bakudeku, tododeku, kiribaku, SS, NH, Eruri, etc.)

I've been in few Fandoms but never participated in Ship wars. But I know how shipping war would be like. And except for Naruto Fandom, All other fandom has pretty solid Canon materials to validate every ships, you know.... It would be very difficult to predict who would become Canon unless you watch out for extreme foreshadows and patterns...

Naruto is the only fandom where Canon couples has nothing to show except for their delusional interpreted essays or surviving on Fillers.

Pairings: Bakudeku x Reader

Warning: Tw:Depression, Tw:Suicidal thoughts, angst, fluff and comfort.

Fingertips slam a frantic yet steady pace against the keyboard, your eyes go back and forth between each paragraph with a growing sense of panic. All your senses are running on nothing more but pure anxiety and stress, not even the thought of eating something crosses your mind as the one and only thing to worry about seems to be this specific assignment.

Neither of them can remember the last time they saw you in another spot of the house that wasn't that chair before the computer, sure sometimes you take a break to go to the bathroom, but sleeping? That word doesn't seem to have a meaning in your vocabulary.

Except for that one time you fell asleep on the couch for less than 30 minutes before startling yourself awake and jumping away from the plush cushion to keep working.

Both Midoriya and Bakugo knew how important it was to complete your thesis, but was it worth it when your health and body is on the edge of giving up? They both know how badly this kind of routine can end up affecting your health.

The last time you got this stressed it ended up fucking up your stomach all the way from the esophagus to the intestines. The whole digestive system was so affected it started to feel like your stomach was literally burning itself into nothingness from the gastritis you developed. You had to get treatment for two whole weeks, which was right before your high school finals, and it was one of the worst experiences you've ever had to go through.

There's a reason a huge portion of people going through College ends up feeling dead on the inside, the overwhelming amounts of work, spending so much time in the library one could literally claim they live there, assignments and impossible amounts of field work, all of that could be more than enough things happening at the same time to cause plenty of people to go insane. And if that was bad enough, preparing your Thesis was like one of the deadliest of trials.

Just from the look on your face, it was obvious you're starting to develop another health trouble just like that time, the tips of your fingers start pressing right on the spot above your stomach with a face full of discomfort.

Deku's the first one to see that and in less than five minutes he's already outside on his way to get some medicine, he doesn't think twice about using One for All to go faster.

Everyone in the apartment was more than used to hear mumbling during the day, courtesy of your beloved Deku, but not even Bakugo was prepared to hear you of all people mumbling such dark things the very next day, when the stress began taking a harder toll. He could hear every single word loud and clear even when he's standing near the kitchen counters at the other side of the house.

"Why do I even bother?...It's not like anything I do even matters..." He can hear the the long sigh followed by more self hatred while he's stirring the noodles for dinner. "Sometimes I wonder if people would even notice that I'm gone...hahaha...I wanna die"

"...! That's it!" The wooden spoon gets slammed roughly against the marble counter, searching through his pocket Bakugo pulls out his phone to text Deku, who's already on his way home from patrol.

It takes less than an hour for the two of them to be there right besides you trying their best to comfort their shaking and panicked S/O, it makes them feel useless seeing how much you're struggling to hold on to the remains of your mental stability.

And when they hear the next course of muttering they know things are just about to get worse unless they do something about it.

"I can't do this anymore...I just can't," The tiny voice coming out of your mouth was heartbreaking. Your whole body is trembling uncontrollably as Midoriya walks up behind the chair, he lifts your whole body so he can take you to the bedroom, that way you could finally get some well deserved rest and calm down, in the meanwhile Bakugo goes back into the kitchen to fetch you something to drink.

Their dynamic was simple and yet effective, most of the time Izuku tends to be the one calming both of you through words, if that's not enough to help he's trying to find another solution to the problem through physical actions. Katsuki on the other hand tends to prefer being the one letting his actions speak for themselves first, even through the smallest of gestures he's always looking out for the both of you, in a reverse context to Deku, when his actions are not enough he's trying to make an effort to comfort you with his words.

Everything came crashing down inside your head like a landslide in the middle of a storm, bringing chaos and despair from every direction. It's easy to recognize the signs of your depression kicking in due to all the work piling up at once, and they're aware you're one of the most dedicated and passionate persons when it comes to your studies.

Midoriya tried to lay you down into the soft mattress and walk away to get that blanket they bought specifically for this type of occasion, but his shirt is quickly clutched into a tight grip, the broken sobs are barely audible to someone not paying enough attention have him on high alert as he realizes you've already started crying.

He has no other choice but to ignore his quest for the blankets and sits back on the bed. His back rests against the headboard while you're laying on your side, face resting softly against his well-toned chest, your body surrounded by his own arms that hold your shaking body against his with the hope that it can help you relax.

Bakugo comes into the room shortly after, carrying your favorite cup steaming with some nice and warm drink, your favorite judging by the glorious smell coming out of the cup in small puffs.

He carefully passes the cup to the green haired man sitting in bed before walking to the corner of the room and towards a dark gray, medium sized basket where the additional blankets are kept, rummaging through the furniture he finds one of the biggest, fluffiest and softest blanket of them all before walking back towards the bed.

It takes you awhile to process what's actually happening because of the storm running through your head. But eventually, between the reassuring words and sweet whispering, the shaking and the crying slowly, but very slowly starts toning down until nothing but a small whimper can be heard every now and then through your bedroom.

In less than a few minutes you've already been wrapped in that beloved blanket while resting between two warm and fit bodies, leaning back against the headboard with a comforting drink in hand.

"Are you feeling any better?" Izuku's voice is soft and sweet, just in case there's something still bothering your mind, at the same time one of Katsuki's hands is busy rubbing circles in the section between your shoulders in a steady rhythm, the feeling of his calloused and scarred hand touching that portion of skin helps relaxing your exhausted self at an almost exaggerated level. The last thing they want is for you to have another breakdown.

You want to reply but your mouth quickly opens and closes, so all you can manage to do is give them a soft nod in response, too tired to even try and talk to your sweet boyfriends.

Sometimes the negative thoughts come during these kinds of moments to try and bring torment. It makes you wonder if one day they'll get tired of this and leave after realizing you're nothing more than a hindrance.

"Don't even think about it, Dumbass," Katsuki growls from his spot at your left side "I recognize that look on your face when I see it, you think you're worthless don't you?" That hand behind you makes its way to your shoulder, pulling your whole body towards him and positioning you in a way that makes your head rest on top of his well toned shoulders. For someone who's body is so nicely sculpted, the place where your head lays is one of the most comfortable places where somebody could rest.

"You are one of the strongest people I've ever met. You've always been someone who rarely allows small shit like this get the best of them" Katsuki's hand had long ago left your back to run his fingers through your hair, the friction against your locks of hair and scalp has a soothing effect that relaxes everything from your whole body to your mind.

A small tear manages to escape, but this time is out of relief and happiness for literally having two of the most wonderful lovers by your sides. The exhausted smile that spreads over your face sends the both of them into a state of relief.

"What did I do to deserve you both?"

Deku lets out a soft laughter while Katsuki just smirks in satisfaction.

"Existing."

I dreamt an entire hurt/comfort Bakudeku Fantasy AU:

Okay, so it kind of was a Medieval/Fantasy BNHA AU? Basically Bakugou was a disgraced barbarian prince that had to run away from his kingdom because the queen, his own mother, thought him too dangerous because of his power mixed with his overall awful temper and, therefore, unfit to take the throne, so, she wanted to kill him so there would be no backlash from their people when she put someone who didn't have royal blood as the next in line. People can’t riot and demand for their “Rightful ruler” if there isn't one to begin with, right?. So, Bakugou, being 11 when this shitshow happened, flees.

He takes refuge in a neighbouring kingdom and is taken in by a very kind woman that finds him, battered and bruised, shivering on the streets.

The woman, whose name is Inko, has a son named Izuku who due to undisclosed circumstances is, secretly, the King’s apprentice and very close to him. Bakugou suspects some Bastard Son shenanigans but wisely keeps his mouth shut because, hey, these people are being nice to me when they don't have to! And they don't want anything in return! That has never happened before! (Well, except for Kirishima, but he wasn’t human so he didn’t count. Wonder what he is up to these days.)

At some point Izuku introduces him to king Toshinori, who is incredibly saddened by Bakugou’s situation and, because he thinks he is an incredibly brave young man for having made it this far, promises him a place between the Knights the moment he reaches 18. Bakugou accepts the offer gleefully because he honestly misses training with others and a good fight.

So, the years go by and of course Bakugou and Izuku fall for each other because I am predictable even in my dreams. The worst thing is that it was just full of pining, both of them saying Nothing about their obvious feelings because they didn't want to scare the other away.

By this point some nobles have found out about the king's protegees and while they can tolerate the commoner (He is a very bright young man and they also suspect Bastard Son Shenanigans), they cannot stand the disgraced prince. They are deeply wary of him because of his power and, hey, there has to be a good reason about WHY his own mother wanted him gone, and with that temper and violent attitude of his they seem to understand why.

The King´s health has always been shit, but it started to get even worse recently and so he has to leave the capital for a couple of months to get help from a healer that lives in a far away village. The journey just to get there is at least a week long. He leaves the kingdom in the “Capable and trusty” hands of his number two, who while he is technically good at running a kingdom when the king’s away, is also a huge piece of shit, and knowing that the king wouldn't be here for awhile thought that, hey, wouldn't it be a shame if someone reached his mother to tell her where that disgrace of a son of hers is so she can end what she started? It would truly be terrible if something happened to that monster while the king was too far away to do shit to stop it!

So, yeah, he sends a pigeon to the Queen and asks her for advice on how to, hypothetically speaking of course, one would neatly get rid of a runaway barbarian prince, to which she replies with a recipe to imitate the explosions Bakugou can make and a letter that says something along the lines of “I am unable to give you advice on how to do that, since its something I myself failed at, however, I reckon that if he went on a rampage, exploding people's homes, then you would be able to publicly execute him with very little issue.”

While this is going on, Izuku notices how the nobles have been giving Kachan nastier looks than usual, coupled with also some very evil and sharp smiles and immediately suspects that they are planning some shit. He tells Kachan this and they both agree that just to avoid any possible poisonings, it would be better for Bakugou to just kind of spend the entirety of the King’s absence inside Inko’s home and not leave for anything. After that, while Izuku is visiting the castle because he needed some books, he sees a messenger hawk carrying a letter with the Barbarian Kingdom’s emblem and immediately freaks the fuck out and runs home to send a pigeon to the King because, Heeey, Toshinori? I know you are busy and stuff, but I think your nobles are planning to kill Kachan?? I saw a hawk with his kingdom's emblem and if they actually try to do it we won't be able to stop it without you here.

So, yeah, it seems that those explosives were harder to make than they originally thought because 5 days pass before, in the middle of the night, a couple of houses in the lower town erupt in flames with a loud BOOM. There are a lot of casualties that night, both from those that were asleep before the explosion and both for those that were trying to help people get out.

The sixth day was spent in mourning and cleaning up, the seventh day was spent on the funerals, the eighth day was spent with people pointing their fingers at Bakugou while they demanded his head on a stick. They protested outside Inko’s home and outside the castle, saying that they wanted justice for what this monster clearly did.

Bakugou feels like shit for those three days, because he thinks it's his fault those people died. He knew his mother wouldn’t rest until he was dead, but he had figured that he was safe as long as he was under the King’s protection, but no, innocent people died because he was too comfortable, too attached to a home, to his friends, to Izuku, to leave like he should have.

The Noble Piece Of Shit, makes an announcement that the people have been heard and that they will get their justice. He sends some knights to retrieve Bakugou from Inko’s home, so they can bring him to the court, where he would be immediately hanged for his crimes.

The knights are very much reluctant to follow this order because they know Bakugou and the brat would never do something like this. The brat wanted to be a knight to save people, for goodness’ sake! But, if they didn’t comply, it would have been their head on the chopping block, so they go get him.

When they get there Izuku is a broken mess. He is sobbing his eyes out while clinging to Bakugou for dear life, who is just hugging him tightly and, in a surprisingly soft voice for him, reassuring Izuku that it would be okay, that this was bound to happen at some point, that he shouldn't cry for him. Izuku just tightens his grip and cries harder.

The knights ask Bakugou to come with them, and he does, but neither the knights nor the prince have the heart to drag Izuku away from him. Inko follows after them, her sobs more quiet than her son’s but still just as noticeable.

When they get to the court/plaza and Izuku sees the gallow, he lets out such a heart-wrenching wail that it makes people pause in their clamoring for blood. What gives them pause is less the wail itself and more of the way Izuku has his head hidden in Bakugou’s neck, his arm is tightly hugging Izuku’s shaking frame while the other one is resting on Izuku’s hair, gently carding his fingers through it. What gives them pause is the eyebags under Bakugou’s eyes and the unshed tears in them. What gives them pause is just how utterly young Bakugou looks when he doesn't have his typical scowl on his face.

Muttering starts among the crowd, because suddenly they aren't clamoring about the death of a monster, but instead the death of a child, and there isn't a single person present who is entirely comfortable with that. The crowd is no longer bloodthirsty as much as it is wary and nervous.

Once Bakugou stands in front of the gallow, surrounded by knights and Izuku still by his side, the Noble Piece Of Shit, standing in a balcony overviewing this entire thing with a wicked smile explains why they are here today and what Bakugou is going to be executed for.

Inko can’t take anymore of this shit and just. Snaps. She screams that they are going to kill an innocent, that the night of the fire she SAW Bakugou fall asleep with her son in front of the fireplace, that it was IMPOSSIBLE for him to have done this. That they are going to kill a 14-year-old innocent CHILD because they are to incompetent to think things trough, or worse, they are going to do it on purpose.

The NPOS (Noble Piece of Shit) demands that the knights subdue that crazy woman and take her to the dungeons and do the same with that wailing child. By this point, the entire crowd has gone “Cool, cool, on second thoughts, after much deliberation, let's hang that piece of shit instead of the innocent child.” The crowd Riots, starts demanding that they investigate things properly instead of rushing a kid to the gallows, which, hey, kinda hypocritical of them but you won’t see Izuku complaining.

The chaos finally ends with the King entering the court riding on top of a FUCKING DRAGON and demanding Silence. The king angrily demands someone explain to him WHY are they trying to kill one of his protegees. The knights take a moment to answer because, uh, that is a Dragon and-uh, okay, its shapeshifting into a red haired man that is running straight at Bakugou and Izuku to hug them- cool, cool, uh, ah, the king asked a question? Ah, yes! The question! The knights explain to him what happened and that it was the NPOS orders, who by this point has made the wise decision to make himself scarce. The King is fuming, but while he announces that he was going to be having Words with his second in command, that this is ridiculous, the kid had an alibi and, while difficult, it's possible to create a serum that acted similarly to Young Bakugou’s sweat when ignited, so this is clearly someone trying to frame him.

After this, the crowd that was warily eyeing the former dragon that was excitedly chatting with a grinning Izuku and a softly smiling Bakugou, decide that this has been enough weird shit for today, take the word of the king as the truth and finally disperse.

The soft sounds of a bell took his functions as he opened the door. And with his head held down, he wandered inside the small shop.

What flowers did he want again?

He thought once more as yet another long sigh left his lips, and the blonde made his way over to the section with the most flowers.

"Gardenias.“ he said quietly, finally remembering the name of the flower. “So lame.” he clicked his tongue, and after a minute of purposeful steps, he finally found the flowers his friend Sero, had graciously asked him to buy. The reason for the said purchase, Bakugou did not know. Nor did he intend to care. The only reason why he was in this situation in the first place was that he was the only person available. Nevermind the fact if he was willing or not.

Head still tilted down. He made his way over to the cashier and placed the pile of flowers on top for them to wrap.

Except, he completely forgot what kind of wrapping his friend wanted.

"Just put whatever.“ he said to the slightly flustered florist, whom of which he has yet to look at.

The florist, who still seemed a bit flustered, could only chuckle.

"They’re very beautiful gardenias.“

At that Bakugou finally looked up. What met him was a boy with green hair and freckled skin and, from the looks of it, seemed his age. Shifting his head to the side, he answered with a curt grunt.

"Gardenias are one of my favorites ya’ know?” the male florist continued, trying his best to hold up a conversation. If only the recipient would have been a bit more welcoming. But he continued nonetheless, “they symbolize purity and sweetness. They convey secret love.” the florist smiled. “They give off lots of joy, like telling the other person: ‘Hey! You look lovely today!’” when he gets no response, he chuckles once again and starts wrapping the flowers.

Bakugou listened carefully to the boy’s spiel and glanced precautiously at the nameplate on his chest.

Midoriya Izuku

"So, who’s it for?“ his thoughts get cut off by the boy named Midoriya’s voice. And he faced towards him once more, acting as if he was paying attention. He could not, however, act like the faint tint on his cheeks wasn’t there.

"Just put whatever.” was his response.

Midoriya smiled, albeit a bit awkwardly.

"I’ll just leave it blank then.“

- - - *ﾟ‘ﾟ ☽ ☼ ☾ *.:｡ - - -

"BAKUGOU YOU IDIOT!” Sero screams at the blonde from across the room.

"WHAT’D YOU SAY?!“ Bakugou screams back, leaving Kirishima, Kaminari, and Ashido in the sidelines spectating the drama.

"I ASKED FOR PURPLE WRAPPING NOT GOLD!“

"GOLD IS SO MUCH BETTER YOU SHOULD BE THANKING ME FOR CORRECTING YOUR SHITTY TASTE YOU ROLLER-TAPE BASTARD!”

"God, are they married or somthin’?“ Kaminari says to Kirishima, who only shrugs and continues watching the spectacle in front of him. Meanwhile, Ashido’s beside him with tears in her eyes. Not from worry, but from sheer laughter. “Why does Sero need the flowers anyway?” Kaminari continues.

"Met someone at work he really digs.“ Kirishima said with another shrug and added; “Apparently.”

"IT’S NOT LIKE YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT LOVE-AT-FIRST-SIGHT YOU FUCKING PRUDE!“ Sero yelled back at the man who’s next words shocked him.

"YES I FUCKING DO, I JUST HAD IT THIS MORNING AFTER BUYING THOSE FUCKING FLOWERS—”

Oh.

My.

God.

Bakugou, being the prude he was. Was stunned into silence, a sight that, in return, stunned everyone else into a frenzy.

I did not just say that.

"He just said that.“ Kaminari said, and Kirishima could only nod in astoundment. And with Ashido breaking into full-blown sobs, the whole argument that had just happened, ceased to exist. There were more pressing matters to attend to.

The Bakugou Katsuki liked someone.

"Ashido, are you oka— oh my God she fainted.” Kirishima could only narrowly catch her from falling to the floor.

Sero, however, with his eyes sparkling, gripped the bouquet in his hand tightly with a newfound determination.

- - - *ﾟ‘ﾟ ☽ ☼ ☾ *.:｡ - - -

"Alright, here’s the plan.“ Sero pointed his finger in the air. “I already found the schedules of each of the employees, and this Midoriya Izuku is off work tomorrow!” Sero celebrated, while Bakugou was still staring blankly at him.

"Wait, hold on— how did you get their schedu—” Bakugou prompted, only to be shushed by Sero.

"This is the power of a matchmaker, do not question.“ Sero added, pulling a pose Bakugou could have sworn he saw in an anime he’s watched. Sero continues, “And do not interrupt the master!”

"Master?—”

"I SAID DO NOT QUESTION!“

Sero pulls yet another pose— wait, is he floating?!

"Now, before I was ever so rudely interrupted,” Sero said. “Midoriya-san is off work tomorrow, which gives you the perfect opportunity to buy him flowers without him knowing!” Sero seemed very enthusiastic about this.

"Wha—” Bakugou started, only to be cut off, yet again. Honestly, what was he expecting?

"—at an amazing plan Sero! I know, I know, I’m a genius.“ Sero literally pats himself on the back for that. As Bakugou finally sighs and admits defeat.

"Wow, this might actually work,” Kirishima says, looking over to his friend Bakugou and shoots him an encouraging smile. “You should give it a shot.”

"That’s unless he screws it up.“ Kaminari added, to which Bakugou yelled at and told him to ’SHUT UP YOU CIRCUIT BOARD PIECE OF SHIT.‘ Which Kaminari responded with a retort about ’THAT’S NOT HOW MY QUIRK WORKS.’

Kirishima watched on and for the third time that day, shrugged, while Ashido couldn’t do anything, for she was still unconscious.

"I am going to kill those bastards.”

"H-Huh?“ Midoriya stared at the man in front of him from his place behind the counter. As he meticulously wrapped the gardenias into a beautiful bouquet. Meanwhile, the said man got absorbed into his thoughts.

I thought he was off work today?

What the fuck?

"U-Uh, nothing.” Bakugou said, internally face-palming at how lame he sounded.

He had already planned how they were each going to die inside his head. Sero being first. He was so immersed in his plans of mass murder, that he almost missed the green-haired man in front of him ask him a question.

"Who’s it for?“

Fuck.

Bakugou wanted to run, in fact, he almost did, but after looking into his eyes, no matter how cliche it sounded, he knew what he had to do.

Man the fuck up.

He took a deep breath. Here goes.

"Midoriya Izuku.”

At that, the green-haired boy dropped his pen and scrambled to pick it back up again.

"O-Oh!“ the flustered boy said, followed by a chuckle that sounded more like an awkward laugh. “Uhm, h-how about a little message, like a: ‘Hey! You look lovely today!’” he laughed once more.

"Uh, yeah, and uhm.“ Bakugou started, as Midoriya listened attentively to what he was going to say next.

"Go on a date with me.”

Hi!:) asdfghjhgfds thank you for liking my rinharu content and my blog! It totally made my day. I actually have no problems with picking my top 3, bc me and my sister have been discussing this a lot and I came to a conclusion that my mind keep running around these 3 all the time no matter what I watch lol

So my 3 ultimate otps are Rinharu, Wangxian and Akakuro. And while I gotta say that I can’t choose which I ship the most, bc it’s really equal, I just gotta give the “favorite” status to Rinharu. For many reasons, but mainly because they’re very special to me: like it was the first ship that made me feel so many feelings and it was the ship that got me into all this, before them I didn’t even know what this whole “true soulmates” thing means. Like when I started watching animes, I started with the most popular romantic ones like “Maid-sama” and stuff like that, but none of that really impressed my stone cold heart for some reason... and then I found “Free!”. And man, I can’t explain, the whole thing got me so bad... I’ve read and watched and listened to everything related to it, like every fucking additional material you can fucking find till this day can’t hide from me lol

“Free!” is just very close to me for so many reasons bc of the characters and some very relatable life-situations, but the whole rinharu concept, all this way of them realising that their dream is to be together and that all of it doesn’t make sense for them without each other just stole my heart forever. Like slice of life rarely gives you many emotions, but I still remember how I couldn’t calm down by the end of s1 and then it got so much worse from there on lol

So yeah, they’re just waaaaay too special for me, so I think they will forever stay my favorite. And I can talk about them forever, I can watch them forever, I can gif them forever, I can vid them forever, and it’s been years and I still have the same feelings about them.

About todobaku... well... I’ve said it before, I don’t mind the ship and actually prefer them over bakudeku, but with tododeku and kiribaku existing I kinda... don’t see the appeal. Like Todoroki isn’t the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd important person in Bakugou’s life. I mean, let’s be honest, if Kirishima and Todoroki would hang over the abyss and Bakugou could only save one, Todoroki would be 100% flying xD Also I’m always laughing at this thing that I’ve made the gifset about when Bakugou yells at Todoroki and he doesn’t even listen to him and goes like “yeah, but Midoriya tho...” lol

And the whole sports festival thing kinda steps on the todobaku thing in my opinion. Bakugou could never be the person who would make Todoroki except himself and honestly I think Todoroki needs a pure sunshine in his life and someone who can hug him to death after everything, same as Bakugou needs warmth and great sense of humor beside him and sadly with the way they both feel about themselves and their personalities, they just can’t give it to each other. I just don’t see how they’re the greatest combination with all that’s going on. No I see anything romantic there. If we scratch Bakugou from Todoroki’s life nothing really would change much, if we scratch Midoriya from Todoriki’s life we’re in s fuckton of trouble. Just saying. Same with Kirishima.

And I think everyone will notice that on every event, whenever everyone somewhere together Todoroki only sees Midoriya and will do anything for him, which realy doesn’t apply to Bakugou. Same as no one except Kirishima can make Bakugou do couples things without flying five flores down.

It’s the same in “Free!” for me, like other ships don’t make much sense to me since literally everytime Rin sees Haru or Haru sees Rin, everyone else becomes a backround noise. They even sometimes showed it in a pretty harsh way like with Sousuke in “Yakusoku” movie:

Like it’s not because Rin doesn’t love him it’s just with significant others it’s different. It’s like that quote “everything he feels, everything he sees, everything he hears is him”, it happens sometimes. I mean, Rin even smells Haru somehow when he’s around but not seen. Sousuke knows it, Makoto knows it, Nagisa knows it, Gou knows it, apparently even Hiyori knows it xD It just happens sometimes. And the whole world disappears when it comes to them two together. Whether it’s them in the pool, in a room full of people or in a car full of people, etc.

Todoroki would drop the world that’s on fire to run and save Midoriya. For Bakugou pride and people around don’t exist when it comes to Kirishima (it doesn’t matter if eveyone heard him calling Kirishima by his name, or heard him saying “thank you”, or Kirishima saying that he’s Bakugou’s date). Like everyone else can break their legs, Bakugou still won’t yell and run to them asking if they’re okay. And Bakugou is never Todoroki’s first priority and I think never will be, so it really doesn’t fit my definition of true love.

Like why Todoroki adresses people “Midoriya and everyone” and Midoriya adresses people as “Todoroki and everyone” even with his canon love interest and his childhood friend there.. kinda hard to expain, same as Eren being chained up and preparing to die and being like “Levi-heichou... guys”... why the heck in that order? Shouldn’t it be Armin, Mikasa... and then Levi? Only satan knows. But for some reason all of my ships are like that. For Yuu it’s “I will save Mika and others” etc.

P.S. Also, you said bakutodo, not todobaku. As in Bakugou tops in this ship? As in Bakugou tops? I just really don’t think he’s a top lol.

aizawa’s the kind of person who’s affectionate in like. subtle ways? he has coffee ready for mic in the mornings, made exactly how he likes it. he’ll check on him when he’s had a long day in the studio, or remind him to go to bed if he’s got an early morning. he’ll send texts throughout the day of insignificant complaints just bc he wants mic to know he’s thinking about him (mic does the same thing, but with whatever wacky shenanigans he’s got going on at the moment)

sorry for the serious note but i feel like - given recent bnha chapters - it’s an elephant in the room that needs addressing. we all know what happened to shirakumo (x) and i just want to preface this by saying i think the mic/aizawa/shirakumo trio is, in a sense, very similar (functionally not necessarily in terms of personalities/etc) to the todobakudeku ot3. now, if u know me, u would know i prefer tododeku over bakudeku but really i prefer the ot3 (or ot4) over either one exclusively. and much like deku, i think aizawa would’ve been happy with either shirakumo or mic. and i read this post the other day discussing smth i think a lot of us have thought about: how exactly the (romantic) dynamic between mic and aizawa is affected by the loss of shirakumo. some speculation included aizawa crushing on shirakumo and settling for mic, which would be the Sad alternative, but - as mentioned - i think he’s more like deku? where he could easily be happy and in love with either of them? so i don’t think he’s unhappy with mic. but i do think he’d have been happiest with both of them

ooooooooookay that was a sad little interlude but back to not sad !!!! they have cats. many cats. aizawa keeps finding them. mic made the mistake of finding one once. he wishes he didn’t (there are too many cats) but at least mic got to name the little guy. peanut butter is mic’s favorite cat even though he likes aizawa more

Previously on BnHA: Horikoshi was all “and then AFO broke out all of the inmates from six other prisons and took a nap. well anyways, here’s the hospital angst.” Kacchan woke up two days later and was all, “WAIT BUT HOW ARE DEKU AND TODOROKI AND ALL OF THE OTHER CHARACTERS EXCEPT IIDA DOING” and then we cut to Shouto’s room where the other U.A. kids were sitting around being Mutually Traumatized and giving each other moral support and such. Everyone was alll, “...”, and then the rest of the Todofam showed up, INCLUDING POSSIBLY REI?! which, omg. The chapter ended with Kacchan STOMPING THROUGH THE HALLS all “WHADDYA MEAN DEKU HASN’T WOKEN UP YET”, dragging along Satou and Mineta behind him, fueled by the power of ALL OF THE FUCKS HE NOW GIVES. He gives so many fucks now you guys. This boy cares so much he can probably deduct it on his taxes.

Today on BnHA: SPEAKING OF PEOPLE WHO GIVE A LOT OF FUCKS, the story cuts abruptly to Hawks, freshly recovering from his near-death experience, and pondering the threads that have weaved the tapestry of his life and led him to this moment. Basically he grew up in poverty with his Jerk Dad and Jerk Mom until his dad got arrested one day and his mom sent him off to go Find Money Or Something, and so he rescued a busload of people and found himself a new career. Back in the present day, Hawks and Jeanist ride around town in Jeanist’s Jamborghini having awkward encounters with civilians in a country on the brink of social collapse, and visiting Hawks’s mother’s home. Hawks is all “I know from an outsider’s perspective it must look like my life currently sucks, but now that the HPSC is gone, my public image is shot, and my parents are finally out of my life, I’m actually feeling SURPRISINGLY GOOD.” Anyway so he’s gonna go meet up with Endeavor now, and p.s. this chapter was fucking fantastic though, damn.

oh my god?? is this Hawks narration?? something about him growing up watching the heroes on TV and thinking of them as fictional characters

swear to god this kid can’t be more than five or six, and yet he has this completely blank look on his face even with his dad looming over him being all threatening and shit. like he’s shut down his emotions to protect himself. imagine what has to happen to a child for him to have learned this at such a young age. fuck

omg omg omg. and this child is basically trapped here in this environment with these two people. this explains a SHITLOAD about Hawks’s personality though you guys. his ability to completely separate his real thoughts from the face he presents to the outside world. his pragmatic approach to analyzing and solving problems. his layers of emotional walls. turns out almost none of that came from the HPSC training -- that was all learned hands-on in his own personal do-or-die survival nightmare childhood!! oh, boy

and small wonder then that he latched on to Endeavor so strongly if he really is the one who brought down his dad and inadvertently saved him from this. also, just putting this out there, I know people are always talking about him and Dabi being foils, and I think it’s very interesting how Touya grew up in a household where he saw firsthand the dark side of hero society, and so ended up becoming a villain in order to bring it down. whereas young Keigo had almost the exact opposite experience, growing up experiencing the dark side of villain society and becoming a hero in order to bring about a world where no one else has to experience that. just. both of them are so determined not to become their fathers. some interesting parallels there

so Hawks was sort of an accident after his parents had “thanks for helping me not get caught after I killed that guy” sex, and now this little boy is growing up in squalor and being beaten by his father for things like Sitting In The Wrong Out-Of-The-Way Corner Trying Not To Be A Bother To Anybody. holy fuck. this is so rough to read through you guys

this presumably also means that Keigo has never been to school or anything either. he basically doesn’t exist. he thinks heroes are fictional characters, he doesn’t realize that they’re real people. these are people who could help him if he could escape and find them, but he doesn’t know, and they don’t know about him
