bkdk is the most unrealistic relationship and here's why:

bakugou has shown no romantic or sexual connection with anyone except kirishima. he literally hates deku with a passion, but deep down we all know he cares deeply for midoriya and thinks of him as a brother. a BROTHER, nothing more. most animes don't support incest bc it's creepy as hell and should be illegal (and in some places it rightly is so).

and sure, you could argue they're not biologically related, which would be the truth. HOWEVER, they view each other as brothers, they have a kind of sibling rivalry that is beautiful because it shows that even though katsuki is a "tough guy" he really does care and respect most of his peers. he views izuku as a proper enemy, a rival, someone to defeat. they're each other's motivation.

they started out as best friends and that's how I think they should end. it would be perfect for things to come to a close and them to end up as friends. i don't think anyone is a queercoded character in bnha, because it's not a romance anime. its an action/adventure anime, possibly a coming of age one too.

i already know what's gonna be in the comments and that this post won't receive a lot of kudos. people will say im homophobic and ask "did we watch the same show?" yes we fucking did, but you're delusional and reaching so far to make this stupid ship believable.

i do think the ship is interesting, though not possible and not believable either. which is why i have written a one shot of it, just to try to get into my characters heads and figure out if there could be a true connection between them in the actual anime/Manga.

there is none. grow up and deal with it. the only ship that will be Canon is izuocha, but no one cares about it anymore because it's heterosexual which is apparently something "basic" and "cliche."

bakudeku is basic. bakudeku is a cliche. it's the stereotypical crybaby who has a crush on a jerk who bullies him.

at the end of the day, 80% of relationships in fantasy or fiction is a basic cliche mess. deal with it. shipping was just invented to make these cliche ordeals a bit more appealing.

shipping is for fun. bakudeku was a pairing created for simple, harmless fun. but i think it's really degrading to horikoshi, who laid out this whole, complicated situation between two (hetero) males that explores inferiority and superiority complexes and other things like that.

all in all, i think bkdk is a fun and interesting ship that's practically harmless... but unrealistic, stupid, poorly made, and not Canon at all.

We all think and especially hope that Eri may save Bakugo or that something else will save him (btw all the hypothesis are very fun and interesting to read) but seriously let's remember that manga authors LOVE (yes I think all these authors have this PASSION in common) killing one of their main character (I think about ace or L and of course Eren) and I think that, especially, they love killing the charcaters that we, the fans that we are, love. And I want to remind you that Kohei Horikoshi, since the beginning of mha, keeps doing popularity polls, and who was, WHO WAS leading (most of the time) in these polls?

It's our katsuki, and WHOOO IS DEAD THERE?? IT'S OUR KATSUKI. Kohei KNEW it was our favourite character HE KNEW IT BECAUSE HE ASKED US. Omg did he do these polls to make us SUFFER at the end? Maybe. I still love him and I will still continue to follow this masterpiece, with or without Bakugo who will always be in our hearts even if we are very sad 💕.

Kyoka Jiro is a Hero Too 🎤🎸🤘

What can I say? This girl is my favorite girl from My Hero Academia. She’s just so cool! She’s a musician, and that means she’s an artist, who are my favorite kind of people. A lot of people like Yaoyorozu or Ochaco, and I do, too, but Jiro’s spunk and spirit are what I enjoy a lot.

Drawing this piece was a lot of fun. New artists often complain about drawing hands, but I relish in the challenge. I’m quite happy with how Jiro’s hands turned out, and I love the finger-play she’s doing with her headphone jack.

Deku doesn’t get enough respect for being good, like just genuinely good. He’s no doubt well loved but it’s often a “he’s a pure bean” kinda credit not like actual admiration.

I mean his goodness isn’t magic, or anything unattainable by other regular people but it is by and large unique

Despite all the unfairness, despite having the literal view that he was not created equal to other people, he remains UNDAUNTINGLY kind, empathetic, forgiving, hopeful, brave, generous, caring, and just SO goddamn full of grace for others

He could have easily been absolutely filled to the fucking brim with spite towards Katsuki

This isn’t hate towards Katsuki, it’s just a fact it would have been the easier path, most of their ms class and in the beginning 1A thinks Katsukis an absolute ass.

Nothing brings people together like being haters to a third party, and Katsukis an easy target for that ire

That emotionally neglected gremlin child constantly gave Deku new reasons to be festering with resentment, yet Deku actively tries to meet him with completely unmatched (even by the gremlins own mother) levels of kindness, understanding, forgiveness, and admiration

In fact Deku always challenges people when they give one demential criticisms of Kacchan’s character, he may be a jerk but he’s also amazing

We don’t know much about how Deku felt towards his other peers, but despite the entire class mocking him at least once he’s never reacted with a hint of animosity towards them, he doesn’t seem to think of them at all really

And it’s not even a “I’ll be the bigger person” or anything like that, Deku is just that focused on being a force for good that being spiteful just don’t cross his mind, he is wholly focused on his own development and future aspirations

That shit is hard to do as an adult and Deku doesn’t even hesitate or trip up on it ever, there’s literal Dis//ney Princesses with more vengeful spirits than Deku has shown, and not because he’s incapable of it but because he actively chooses to be kind

Horikoshi has managed to develop that kind of character trait into Deku despite all he’s dealt with in such a believable way that it’s taken for granted by the audience, like inspite of everything we always just expect Deku to be kind and I think that’s a fantastic thing

I wish altruism was more expected of people, it’s true that the world is cruel but that’s why we should hold ourselves and each other to the standards that make it a little less so

The stance that the world is cruel and unfair should be reserved for the hurting that’s out of our control like the inevitability of death and the grief it leaves behind, not a blasé catch all for the expectation that people will be un-empathetic to each other’s plight
