how real am I, to face you hollow

gotta say I am a huge sucker for how Adventure Time will sometimes just cut to Princess Bubblegum doing something extremely morally dubious like cutting off a tiny person’s limbs with scissors and then sticking those arms and legs onto another tiny person’s limb stumps but then she'll turn around and go like "Good morning, Finn! Are you ready for a sploinking day?" and whatever atrocities she had just been committing will Never be brought up again.

Hey anyone want to be crushed by the reality that in stopping the unknowing Jon became unknown to everything around him. He stops being Jon and becomes The Archivist and the only person who acknowledges that there's anything left of the person he was is Martin.
Nikola failed a doomed ritual but it still made the Archivist a Stranger

no but the thing is. they KISSED. on screen. it was a real scene, not deleted, not removed from a script, it HAPPENED in front of the world's eyes. and AND the actors are normal about it and the whole cast and crew is normal about it and it's not vague and it's IMPORTANT. no matter the rest of it and what came after it, it happened!!

Thinking about how the plot of season 6 wouldn’t make sense if you do not acknowledge the fact that Cas and Crowley working together was an affair, or at least it felt like so to Dean.
Majority of the people that I heard saying that they disliked that conflict, say that it doesn’t make sense because Dean should’ve understood Cas’ point of view. And that Dean has also worked with demons before, more than once, out of desperation. Which is why he doesn’t have the right to be mad. And I understand that. But it wasn’t about working with demons. No. Not really. The thing that hurt Dean the most about Cas’ choice was how he chose to ask for help from Crowley, instead of him. Cas chose Crowley over him.
“Look me in the eye, and tell me you’re not working with Crowley…”
“You’re in it with him? You and Crowley?? You’re going after purgatory together??? You have, huh? This whole time!”
“No, you had a choice. You just made the wrong one.”
“I was there. Where were you?”
The plot literally doesn’t make sense if you do not acknowledge destiel or crowstiel or deancascrowley. And I think that’s insane, especially for a show from 2005.

no one talks enough about how insane brennan was for casually dropping at the END of fhsy that a previous incarnation of ayda was a parental figure to garthy o’brien (“my mum’s name was ayda aguefort, too”) while also saying at the beginning that garthy is a sort of parental figure to ayda in this current incarnation…
and then having garthy struggle with that was such a good move bcus imagine your mom dies and is reborn the same person but with NONE of the memories you made together and then you spend your adult life without your mom but at the same time raising her as your own child… THAT’S SO UPSETTING 😭

i love the idea of hatchetfield being such an accepting town when it comes to gender and sexual identity. minus the occasional grace, you've got all these cultists and corrupted businesses and evil eldritch gods but they're still gonna insult or accuse you with the correct pronouns. i respect that.

Aventurine and his insane luck. The blessed one but his blessing is also a curse. He uses his good fortune like a weapon. It cuts him like a knife. It's meant to protect him, but he wanted to protect everyone else. He doesn't see the point of it. He resents his luck because it made him survive every tragedy, when his loved ones didn't. He loves it because he loves his mother, his sister, and his father, and it's one of the few fragments left of his first self, his truest self. Lucky boy, boy made of gold and honey. When he was born, rain fell. It was the god's blessings. Or was it the god's tears?
